It was a pleasant stay At the time we stay they served a full breakfast The food was plentiful and good

All the morning drinks were available The pool was nice and the place is clean All the employees that I had contact with were courteous and well trained The reason for the three stars had to do with the little things that needy to be fixed In my humble opinion the place needed to be remodeled Maintenance seemed to be doing their best trying to keep up on the properties many little issues that eventually turn into shut the place down and fund and proper update We would stay there again I am not putting place down It could have been better but it could have been much much worse The place was clean and well maintained the employees seemed to be well trained and that is always do to management that cares It needs a update Thank you to all the staff for a pleasant visit

Husband and I stayed in the inground jacuzzi suite, 1 night reservation We really enjoyed it, staff was great, pool & breakfast were very good Nothing too bad to say except it really needed some detailed cleaning inside & out

We know it’s an older hotel & it shows in some areas Our suite was fairly updated, important surfaces were clean (sinks, toilet, shower, spa) jacuzzi room could use some TLC though Jacuzzi was pretty large & felt great!

Paula Hollifield

We just left this place this morning! After traveling since 3am prior we were exhausted! The staff is pleasant, friendly and very helpful The room itself was clean, comfortable and very nice! Bathroom was spotless Sheets were crisp and fresh

Bed was extremely comfortable and cover was clean I highly recommend this hotel I’m very picky about cleanliness and I was satisfied completely We’ll definitely stay again We reserved thru AAA, as it was high on their list Absolutely no complaints!

Having worked in the hospitality industry for years I’ve never been so disappointed in a stay as this one was Upon check in our room smelled like cigarettes 🚬

I know I requested a cigarette free room My boyscare sensitive to that smell and I didn’t want sick kids during my stay We were told by the lady that checked us in we would be compensated for the smell in the room Not sure that had happened by check out The shower 🚿 was loose from the wall when you pulled the plunger up so the shower would work The water pressure in the sink was a joke there was no turning it up to rinse anything My son who is a Marine stayed with us the entire stay and I had asked for the military rate for all 3 nights Not sure if that was applied or notOver all the room provided a bed I would not seek out this property for a future stay as this one was less than something I want to remember Our keys died on day 2 I used to make keys that lasted for days Not having to stop by the desk daily to get the keys remade We had 4 people in our room but couldn’t get 4 keys to save our soulsFrustrated doesn’t begin to describe how I felt

Check in allowed after 3 I arrived at 5 No rooms ready

Drove around to kill time Finally got in about 6 and unpackedLearned there is no breakfast, only a bag of something you can take to your room in the AMRoom was cold and nights are to be in the 40s so I set the heat It didn’t workWent to the phone It didn’t workWent to the desk to complain They said someone would could fix it so I went to dinner Came back and heater still wouldn’t workWent to desk again Said someone would meet me in the room Waited in the room Phone rang, the same one I can’t dial out with “Sorry, the heater is broken”That’s bad Move me to a room with heat! “Sorry, we have no more rooms” (the parking lot is 3/4 empty)Give me a discount “We will leave a note”Bring me more blankets “We will look” WaitingOtherwise a fine place

Dave Johnston

This is a decent place to stay for the price If you’re looking for a destination in the town of Yuma for a vacation this isn’t it, but if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two this will do the job The room was clean and most everything worked

We stayed here two different nights and had a broken light in our room one of the nights Bathrooms are a little scary looking and could definitely use a remodel – actually the whole place probably could

The room was comfortable and clean and I loved the pillows! What impressed me more though was the courteous and happy staff I forgot to ask their names but the front desk staff (girl with long blond hair and the guy with a beard and glasses) were awesome I watched them respond to a rude and disgruntled customer with so much patience and grace

Then they were also quick and helpful in getting me my own room

The room was clean & functional to serve our traveling need The pricing I feel was high for what we got I paid more than other hotels in the area to ensure great accommodations but it was soso

The bathtub in the pictures looks larger & the room looks bigger/slightly more luxurious The water was consistently hot The toilet required a long hold to flush Beds were firmer than I’d prefer but we all slept fine Pillows were good The lobby and area by the elevators smelled awful Like a sewage back up The staff was pleasant The atmosphere was peaceful

If you have a big group I would not recommend this hotel at all I was in a group of 25 coworkers (who all had their own room’s) Two coworkers brought us food since we did not have our charter bus to drive us around

Half of our group was left without eating because the manager and the front desk kicked us out of the lobby and were extremely rude! Saying we are not allowed to eat in the lobby because the restaurant will open in 3 hours and they could not have a mess nor can we bring food from outside! I’m glad to report we are at another hotel with MUCH better customer service

Excellent location Get a room facing the Colorado River (think large stream if you are from the East) Typical Hilton garden inn but the location is so excellent you can walk 1/2 mile to Yuma Territorial Prison one way, Colorado River Historic museum the other and old Yuma a third direction

Good restaurants, coffee shops, pottery shops all less than 1/2 mile Location truly makes the price worth it

Cool guy 101

Staff was friendly and accommodating The Location was perfect to downtown Yuma Wife and I walked over the movie theater to watch Top Gun 2 right as the movie started right on time and we walked back to let the kids swim at hotel

The water in the lounge was great! The gym was clean and the laundry and dryer was a plus Great experience overall and we will be back

Theresa Avina

We we’re locked in the pool area with nobody to answer us, banging on the glass door for help to go onto the hotel! They also weren’t answering the emengercy phone outsideThree different keys weren’t working This was even after my daughter had her’s re-keyed

The breakfast for the price ($240) to stay per night could have been better The person at the front said they would take 30 minutes for them to make more waffle batter, never happened! Some women came out after 30 minutes, shakes the container and left When we asked the front desk that we’ve been waiting 30 minutes for more batter, she says “Oh it ends at 10 am!”We know, we’ve been waiting since 9 am! Sorry, was her reply The only other items we’re cereal, yougart, some type of frozen sandwich you heat up in microwave I won’t be returning to this hotel And to think we had two rooms!

Cecilia Saenz

This hotel is 2 minutes walking to downtown Yuma where all the restaurants and bars are located The room 230 is huge Nice kitchen with no range but large fridge, dishwasher, plates, cups, cutlery, toaster, and microwave

The mattress and pillows feel old and not comfortable at all They do cleaning upon request Front desk employees were always helpful and nice Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy, mostly packaged food

My brother & I were there for one night on May 4th 2022 Our Mom had just passed away and our father was in the hospital with a broken hip The young lady at the desk, her name was Jessica, was the most sweetest, helpful person ever! It was wonderful to have someone help us the way she did and truly cared about what we were dealing with! She is a wonderful asset to your business, and anyone would be happy to have her help them

She was awesome!! Thank you for your kindness Jessica! It really meant a lot!!

I stay in this hotel fairly frequently and it is my favorite hotel overall in Yuma The gym is decent The restaurant on the premise isn’t great, but it’s convenient

The staff is friendly The rooms are a little outdated but the overall competency is great I will note the mattress comfort between the queen and king rooms are significantly different I’d recommend the king suites if any are available

Good for a night or twoThe bad: no closet or rod for hanging garments Our large bathroom had no tub, no storage and very little counter space

The bathroom outlet nearest the ironing board didn’t work A side table by the easy chair would be nice Housekeeping was hit & miss (although maybe we were supposed to request it? That one could be on us)The good: pool is good and cold! Decent breakfast options (including several different proteins), water dispenser for filling water bottles, friendly staff

For an inexpensive motel, it was as to be expected The room was small and had numerous defects that typically come with low cost motels such as stains in carpet, blemishes on the walls, cracks in the shower enclosure, etc – and this place had them all, but all was tolerable given the price Also, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly

The TV was decent, AC worked well, nice to have microwave and refrigerator What was not tolerable and is inexcusable was the number of insects in the room – I stopped counting at 13 which I killed and flushed, and the more I killed the more I found Most were in the bathroom but a few in the bed area

If this is your last resort

my condolences I stayed one night before moving to another hotel It’s in a great location! But the noise, roaches and subpar everything bring it down Almost every car parked in the lot was in a state of disrepair I asked for a no smoking room that ended up smelling like an ashtray I guess the 150 00 charge for smoking is a hallow threat They tried to put lipstick on a 🐖no offense piggies😂

Drex Yeager

Have stayed here a few times and the experiences were decent However, this time was pretty nasty The room was FILTHY but the bedding and towels were clean?? Also, the cockroaches were out of hand

The other times I stayed here I saw no roaches, this time I killed several and missed even more Unfortunately things are not right anymore and I will not stay here again

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I have been in in a long time Covid has really short staffed so many places and many hotels suffer This is not the case here at this hotel

I make a lot of reviews and travel most of the year It is rare to find a very clean hotel where l feel like I can soak in the tub, do my laundry (without a musty/moldy smell), and hang out in the pool and relax The pool was heated and warm It was perfect Breakfast was a warm breakfast with fresh berries and real eggs and yogurt Coffee and tea were always available and the business center allowed me to work and print off some documents The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable What more can you ask for? I will stay here again

Jamie Williamson

We stayed for a month from January to February with our two small kids and a dog and had an amazing experience! The breakfast was very good that even my picky eaters wanted to go to the breakfast every morning for the month As for the staff, they were top notch! This is the first place we have stayed at where every member of the staff was approachable and truely seamed to care about the guests and enjoy their job They made our stay feel like home! Months later my children still say it’s their favorite hotel and miss saying good morning to the manager Wayne

Thank you all for making it a great stay!

Jason Llewellyn

Needed a place to stay due to a blown tire on the 8 last Wednesday 23,022 Wayne Rooks, the manager on duty was top notch and awesome He hooked me up as a Diamond member and made the lousy afternoon of sitting in the car waiting for AAA to arrive

Those Imperial Dunes are no joke Anyways The rooms are dated and show signs of wear The room I was in, still had painters tape and paper blocking half the window The bed was comfortable Food selections for breakfast are great Wayne gets 5⭐ because he’s friendly, nice and makes the guest feel at home

This review is for the staff more than the room I stayed during a very busy period and they were also working on multiple construction projects, but the staff were consistently kind and helpful In particular, I’m very grateful that I was allowed to store my luggage after checkout until my business had been completed, and I had a lot of stuff! The room was clean and everything worked, and my cat enjoyed sitting on the windowsill and watching the world outside

The interior wasn’t impressive, and their most recent renovation had obviously been low budget, but my standards for hotels in this range are pretty low after a recent traumatic experience, so all I really care about is cleanliness, wifi, and being and feeling safe That said, I felt comfortable here, my cat felt comfortable, and the staff did me a huge favor I would stay again

Dan Peterson

Service was poor No real effort made by the front desk Waited over 3 hours to get an iron replaced for our room

Continental breakfast is a joke Instant oatmeal, mini-muffins like you get at a gas station, coffee and juice out of machines Nothing elseRooms need maintenance and are small Only two bath towels in a room that sleeps 4 Outdoor pool was cold and dirty Typically there is a pool person cleaning an outdoor pool in the mornings At noon the pool was full of leaves, bird feathers and a brown scum floating on top Several pool chairs are torn and unusable Cigarette butts on the pool deck and around the gazebo areas The small exercise room is the only bright spot as it has a fair amount of equipment for a place this size If Wyndham is going to put their name on a place like this they need to fix it up and get better maintenance and staff I would NOT recommend this to Wyndham members or anyone at this time

Babzl Elease

We arrived after 9pm and got their last floor level room cuz we’re both partially disabled The front desk personnel (2 women) were pleasant and checking in was easy The room was nice and clean, had a nice refrigerator & microwave, had granite counter tops in the kitchenette area and on top of the nice large 7 drawer dresser, air-conditioning that worked very well (important in Yuma!), and they let us have a late check out at 12:00 the next day

Our room (148) was by the road but the AC covered up any road noise, which was already minimal at night We’d easily stay there again Our only complaint was that it was rather complicated finding our way there, even with Google maps

We drove here from San Diego to watch a race across the street at the dirt track I’ll stay with the pros: The first thing we noticed upon checking in was that the advertised price of $10700 is completely accurate! No hidden fees or extra hotel tax or crazy deposits like we experience in our hometown anytime we want to go on a staycation

The room was really clean, the pool and hot tub are open 24/7 and the beds and pillows are very comfortable, lots of parking, a lovely little gift shop with reasonably priced souvenirs, toiletries and snacks etc…good coffee in the lobby and hand sanitizer readily available at all times Now for the cons: the triple 777 cafe was a disappointment, the breakfast buffet is still closed due to Covid and they have the tightest slots I’ve ever played in my life I still give it 5 stars I think we’ll be coming back here again when racing starts back up for sure

Talk about room here in Somerton, Arizona (near Yuma) We are in a two rooms Double queen in one, an one queen in another

Ajoined by a spacious living room, we feel special The living room has its own restroom! 24 hour pool! Of course, the Casino goes on 24 hours, too (though we aren’t here to gamble)! Morning view is beautiful sunrise behind those mountainsOk, we got great rooms on the 3rd floor (top)! Not a sound from the Casino heardAlso We had an issue last night and the front desk was super amazing Nice and responsive Time to tip!!

A/C worked well and good sound control–quiet Good bed Housekeeping seems to be their speed bump– most guests one nite, we were here for 3 We’re seniors and all very accommodating If in the area again this is where we would stay Very fair price price for what you get

Howard Cloud (Howard)

Nothing really unique about this place The only thing historic about this motel would be the dirt on the wall Seems to be over priced for what it is

For the same price you can stay at a modern clean hotel where the a/c doesn’t screech like two eagles mating as they fall through the air The staff is friendly enough Rooms need painting and regular maintenance Went to the restaurant that the motel hasafter ordering and waiting for almost an hour I never received my food Went to IHOP instead Would not stay here again

Even though There were very few guests they placed me right underneath another guest Also as I sat at an outdoor table the owner asked what I was doing there and when I told her she demanded my room number and said who she was I told her and complained I felt policed and she condescendingly said “I’m sorry you took it that way and drove off

”A beautiful place though and not too expensive I’m a long haired male too so I’m profiled

Good location with restaurants nearby but everything else is inferior about this hotelThe pool is sufficientOur air conditioning unit didn’t work properly

I moved the dial to the off position but the fan would still come on intermittentlyThe front desk staff seemed like they don’t want to work here; unhappy and inattentiveThe clerk that checked me in was about to give me a second set of room keys and was talking about some personal problems that were inappropriateUpon checkout I needed a receipt of my stay that was printed with a certain error that needed a correction for my business records, and the front clerk we printed the same receipt and when I pointed it out, he said he would email it to me laterI was in a rush and it seemed like he wasn’t going to correct the problem I later called the corporate line and got assistance from customer service because of his errorIt seemed like many of the people staying here were there on business like construction workers and yard maintenance and people sent to Yuma for workThe breakfast selection was pretty good with biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles and a number of items that you can take with you like yogurtI highly recommend not staying here unless you have to however There are probably much better hotels closer to Yuma

The room was clean and very nice The lady working at the front desk was very friendly and helpful However this morning we went to get breakfast for our two younger kiddos and the guy working at the front desk yelled at us about trying to take food to our rooms so the kids can eat

He had us check out and told us not to come back I would only recommend this place for a clean place to stay overnight I wouldn’t ever recommend this place for families that like to eat Just wish we had better service Would’ve been a different story if he came up to us calmly and explained us the rules That wasn’t the case this time

Super friendly front desk Guest services was great Checking in, he noticed my water bottle and helped me by telling me where to fill my water

I don’t expect that type of service in this day and age anymore sadly So it was nice for him to go above his duties

Terrible hotel I don’t know why it’s a 3 star which should have be a 1 star My friends and I reserved for 4 days but end up staying for 1 day due to the poor conditions of the rooms

There are bugs on bed, AC is too loud, there are a bunch of stains everywhere Mole wasFound on the bathroom Handles The carpet looks very dusty and dirty because it’s so old When we try to talk to a employee, apparently there isn’t anyone and they don’t answer unless you ring their door cams There are no workers at the hotel and we waiting 20mins for someone to come to the office to check us out We decide to go to Ramada hotel which was much better than this one So please for any future customers please read the review and avoid this hotel

Just went to visit some friends that came through Yuma on their adventure bike ride Staff was great, very friendly Super clean place inside and out

I asked my buddies what they paid for their room and they felt that it was very reasonable compared to most other locations here in Yuma at the same level COVID price’s are nuts everywhere but the felt like they got a decent deal
