This place is tucked away but once you find it it was a great stay While entering the lobby it smells wonderful Very clean

The rooms were nice and clean We stayed for 5 nights anything we asked for we got clean towels, toilet paper etc nice pool also fitness room Every morning nice hot breakfast and coffee I would recommend this place Whenever I visit Georgia again I will be staying here

As others have said, just keep driving Only one star removed because the location is a little strange and from the outside, it doesn’t look like much But really, it’s what is on the inside that counts

And I assume the inside was updated more recently because it looks nice in there! The lobby & our rooms were clean and we had no trouble checking in I don’t know why it stands out in my mind, but I was impressed by the breakfast spread and what was available I know some folks might be coming from different directions, but I came from the south and I fell in love with the winding roads and scenery that we saw on the way Just the cherry on top of a pleasant stay at Fairburn’s Fairfield Inn

Toni Pieper

The hotel is kind of hidden, so don’t panic when you see a different hotel on the road, just keep going The Fairfield in Fairburn does exist! The front desk lady was very nice and accommodatingThe room is very clean and comfortable

I haven’t experienced breakfast or the pool yet, but I would definitely recommend this hotel so far

When we arrived at our room, the room itself was very spacious, but it had a very strong cigarette and weed odor as if a group of people just had a party in there 20 minutes before we arrived We were travelling with a 2 year old, so that ambience didn’t fit the occasion We unfortunately booked the last available room at the property for the night that we stayed due to a missed connection at ATL airport so requesting a different room wasn’t even a different option and given the late hour and the fact that we already paid $295, changing hotels wasn’t an option either

The couch in the room was not a pull out couch so our daughter had to sleep on the floor on the couch cushions which were torn and frayed The breakfast was good, but they were out of a bunch of things They didn’t have any milk, which made for an unhappy 2 year old and the coffee machine was broken, which made for unhappy parents I will say that all of the staff were really nice and helpful The lady that cleaned our room the morning we checked out was kind enough to offer us anything we needed as she cleaned other rooms in the hallway We paid $295 for our one night stay and all in all, it was NOT worth anywhere near that price given the condition of the room and property and missing amenities

Travis Henry

My family and I stayed 1 night at this hotel The room was infested by bedbugs that bit my son and I all over our face, back, legs and feet It left bleeding welps all over our bodies

I called customer service who said that someone from the hotel would contact us within five days After five days had come and gone we heard from no one I called back and was told that the hotel had responded to my complaint However, They didn’t intend on doing anything about the room They were not even interested in checking it out to protect the next guest If you stay at this hotel know that they will take no precaution for your health or safety Be warned!

Visitors be aware

call before coming We reserved 6 rooms well in advance They were paid for prior to coming And once we arrived some rooms were not found in the system Fortunately, we all had record of reservations and payments The staff seemed to not care, but we were determined to get the rooms we paid for We had to call the booking company to contact them, before some of us could get into our rooms We could not get into the pool, due to issues with the hotel, although we were told over the phone days before coming that everything was fine Our key cards would deactivate several times a day It was extremely frustrating to go to your room with an arm full of stuff to have a key not work The parking lot was too small, if you are going to be out sightseeing there may not be a parking space available for you to park With all of the disappointments with this hotel, I personally would not recommend it or book another stay here

We were very pleased with the hotel until we requested that they service our room We were told they clean and restock the room every third day Supposedly a Covid issue

We had to go to the desk with our dirty towels to get clean onesWe were told that someone would service our room after our request only to return and find it had not been doneTheir posted policy says that they will clean the room if requested Not!

Karen Heard

Clean and comfortable The staff were friendly and professional We had to stay for one night due to plumbing issue at our home and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the stay was

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable The only two complaints is first of all, later at night, when my husband left for work (he works overnight) there were a few undesirables hanging around the front area of the hotel which was disappointing to see especially since he had to leave his wife alone The other complaint was the breakfast It was really bad Nothing seemed edible Powdered eggs, small dried out sausage links, pancake sticks from a box, burnt looking biscuits, no fresh fruit, etc Even the water for tea was questionable (was brown instead of clear) They really need to step up the breakfast game

riaann mccants

I purchased 2 nights in room 216 I overlooked the mold growing on the ac vent, but once I woke up with a scratchy throat the next day, I knew I couldn’t get my money’s worth and stay the second night I didn’t want to make a big deal of it so I just told the concierge on my way out

The concierge made a note to tell maintaince I hope it changes and they check for mold on a weekly basis in all rooms, so you and your family don’t have to worry about what you’re breathing inThe staff was nice, breakfast was good, and the towels could have been a bit softer Only other thing was the comforter that has two sheets around it may not be washed, because the edges of mine were very yellow

We actually weren’t able to stay We chose this hotel because several others told us up front that they did not have any connecting rooms available Reservations assured me that our rooms would be connecting

When we arrived and checked in, the elevator was broken and we carried all of our luggage up to the 3rd floor to find that they had rooms across the hall from each other With a 6 and 9 year old, this wasn’t going to work The second floor reeked of weed smoke and we definitely didn’t feel comfortable even waiting for a resolution to the issue I will give the very nice lady at the front desk credit for working to get us refunded We managed to find other arrangements in the area, but I definitely would not recommend the candle wood

Highly Favored

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little skeptical about making reservations However, when I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised how GREAT my room I thought I was in a Penthouse it was so nice

All the appliance updated, dishwasher, plenty of storage areas and cabinets, well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, paper towels, etc, My room was very immaculate The staff is very nice and helpful

Alanna Tenney

If I could give this place a zero stars I would Seriously everything was so dirty, the bathrooms were gross, the walls were filthy and the floors gross The elevator didn’t work the entire time we were there, which is bad but absolutely horrible when you’re on the fourth floor

A pipe burst while we were there one night and didn’t have water that whole night The pool was so gross and dirty But the worst things about this place was our rental car got stolen from the parking lot They apparently didn’t have cameras where the car was in the parking lot either Never a fun experience having to do police reports while on vacation with your family because the hotel you’re at is not safe

Room was spacious and clean, we enjoyed staying at this hotel There was coffee ready very early in the morning The best part of our experiment was the staff

We were having flight issues of trying to get home for 2 days at this point and booked last second at midnight with the corporate team and they had an issue with our reservation We were so drained and Bobby and the rest of the staff worked hard to find us a room, showed us kindness and made us laugh We enjoyed the room but the staff alone would lead us to recommend and want to stay at this hotel again They really made us feel comfortable and at ease

Toni Russell

Love Staybridge They had their usual night guest buffet on Wednesday We had been driving all day got in 1 minute before they closed it

Lucky the desk clerk said go in they are holding it open for you Wow what a nice gesture Buffet person in charge, Oz, was gracious & friendly didn’t act like it was an annoyance Chatted with us for a while & incidentally the carnitas were so yummy We were so happy to not have to get back in the car & go find something to eat Thank you & our room was great as well

Sarah Taylor

The front desk staff did not greet us He seemed to be doing his homework in the corner Got up and looked at us like he forgot what his job was

The the hotel is old and dirty They are not cleaning these rooms Check out pictures The pool was closed due to “Covid” I’m like okay every pool in America is open now are you serious The rooms and building is falling apart This hotel needs more than a face lift

Me and my kids just left here after a 4 day stay!! #1 this hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in the room was clean to perfection, not only that the room and hallways smelled so good! #2 breakfast staff and breakfast it self was amazing!! Everything is self serve but it was amazing! If you have left something or even need a drink or something to snack on the little store has everything and when I mean everything I mean it Hotel staff was amazing we visited here spring break and weather was all over the place so pool was closed also you about 20 min from downtown Atlanta where all the tractions and Georgia aquarium is, but for the most part I will come back to this very hotel it’s worth every penny!

Bruce Blackmon

Nice looking place but service is lacking, we stayed 4 nights and our room never got cleaned and restocked even though we ask, we had to change our towels, take care of the trash etc The room has a small fridge and microwave with a small sink area, mattress was very firm and pillows were too flat so sleeping was difficult We enjoyed the breakfast for the most part, it was average hotel fare

They don’t have any hand towels which I thought was odd so we used washcloth as a hand towels Parking lot is in good condition and convenient, landscaping is very well done, pool is small and was overcrowded when we tried it

Xander Cheney

First stay here was alright Room was massive and comfortable Bathroom floor was dirty

Cleaned up what looked like pee from in front of the toilet… Gross Second stay I asked the front counter for Clorox wipes, just in case And they had them Didn’t really need them though But it made me feel better Now, the second stay is not near as good The AC only turns on when it wants to… the first room, if I got hot Which I very easily do I turned on the AC No problem This one though, is controlled by an older Amana thermostat And when you make a change, it says “wait” for about 5 minutes Won’t do anything This is an overall good hotel But a three star rating is about to best it’ll get for now Also, there was hair from the last person still in the bathroom I threw away two stands before even thinking about taking a picture for the review

I was pretty surprised when we walked in our room because it was more than what I expected They made some renovations and made it more modern and welcoming Our room was spacious with an area for a couch and table which was convenient for my kids

The front desk attendant was nice as well as the gentleman that checked us out We didn’t eat breakfast there because we had an early flight nor did we used the pool because it was a little chilly when we were there They had a little area where you can buy drinks and snacks which was very convenient Overall, I would stay again!

janell green

The room looked like it had been renovated It was very large and spacious The bathroom was small but other than that the room was nice

If you stay here you might want to use your OWN towels They put a $50 incidental hold on your card which I never got back because they said some towels were stained I am not sure how you would know if it was a towel from my room or not if you wash them all together 🤔 Then they said it was a purple stain on the pillowcase I took pictures before and after as proof of what the room looked like and they refused to look at them and refused to give me my deposit back If you are going to charge for staining a towel then you should put paper towels in the rooms so people won’t have to use them Also they bribe you into giving them a good review saying they will refund $20 This stated out as a good review but when I never received my $20 I updated my review Now was my stay completely horrible No Will I be staying here again No

Wes Park P

The staff was very polite and accommodating (Especially John) That’s not to take anything away from the two women at the front desk on day and night shift Very nice! Hotel and room was clean

Prices are reasonable Beds are comfortable The only problem I had was having to create a reservation every time I wanted to extend my room I also had to put down a $50 deposit every time also The last hotel I stayed in extended my room for me every time and waived the deposit fee and just carried the current deposit over Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel

No one there in kitchen area to askTried to call front desk but phone in room didn’t work Called from my own phone no answer, but when we went down stairs there were 3 people standing there chatting Could have done without the weed smoking in the parking lot

Every surface needs to be cleaned Carpet in room was sticky Walls are gross

Even the furniture in the lobby needs to steam cleaned However if you are in the market for drugs they are 5 stars Dealers are not only at the front door but on all sides including in the woods behind the building Absolutely the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed

Ginjer Key

It was late I was exhausted from a long trip Got into my room it was dirty!!! The other bed the sheets were off Trash in the trash cans

No shower curtain no soap no towels And they said they had no other rooms And I would get a credit Smh Why give a dirty room? Does anyone not check to see what is going on Was definitely disappointed I should have taken photos

What can I say about Mimi at the front desk staff, she is amazing just the way she welcomes you is another level of customer service I have never seen anyone like her I was only there for one day but I wish all my stays were there

Our flight was early she made sure we have some snacks before we go because we weren’t able to make it to breakfast She treated my kids and explain everything to them What a wonderful personality to have! Keep shining Mimi!

Stayed here for one night I work at another location so I know how hotels aren’t always perfect I truly enjoyed my stay

Friendly & helpful staff, easy check in & clean room Parking fee is $10 which is awesome! It’s an older hotel but it’s kept in good condition for guests I had a room by the elevator & it was still so peaceful!!! I will book again!

David Bennett,Jr.

To say that my experience at Fairfield Inn was excellent would be an understatement The staff and management went above and beyond to ensure comfort and an enjoyable experience while staying in this establishment The room was very comfortable and the bed was absolutely amazing

I was only there for one night and it was quiet The girl that checked me in with very pleasant and professional I checked in about 1 o’clock in the afternoon and wanted to get some rest

Three times within a two hour period Housekeeping was knocking on my door I finally had to call the front desk and ask them to make sure I was not disturbed again However, I had to use my cell phone because the phone in the room did not work The bed was not comfortable at all but it was clean The carpet does need to be replaced but they say they are doing renovations this year Beside both nightstands there was gunk on the wall and down on the carpet where nobody has bothered to clean it in a while On the nightstand beside the bed there was something sticky like something had been spilled that was not cleaned up so I had to take a towel and wipe it down myself I did not use any of the amenities so I can’t really speak for them The shuttle for the airport did leave at 5 AM the next morning just like they said so I was happy about that The bathroom was clean except for the bathtub, not only was it grimy but it had a set of black shoe prints in it There were also watermarks all along the curtains Very poor Housekeeping If they are actually remodeling this year that will take care of some of my issues but they’re housekeeping department needs to be retrained

Lin Anderson

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because there is not a 0 I don’t like giving negative reviews and there were two nice employees One employee kept hitting on me and making me very uncomfortable

Very unprofessional The breakfast was cold except the day we left, the biscuits were rocks, the sausage was raw (very close to it) The pool was down being painted!!!!! Think of doing that between October and April next time duh!!!! The website said pet friendly but upon arrival we were told no pets, luckily we had service dogs so they let us stay after a four hour travel The floor was disgusting in the room and that is way better than the bathroom NOWHERE to sit!!! The pictures are very nice but the rooms are gross and do not have half the furniture shown The attitude you get when you ask for towels DAILY is terrible The rooms are not touched at all once you check in We don’t mind that so much because we don’t want them in our room but be polite when we need towels to bathe Very few employees spoke English so it was hard to ask for supplies: towels etc

starla cantrell

They don’t even deserve one star The only reason it’s there is because it made me pick at least one This is not the area you want to stay at in Atlanta for any reason

One of the three staff members we came in contact with was actually nice The rooms were nasty, floors so dingy your feet would get dirty if you walk bare foot after your shower The air vent was filled with dust We found spots on the blankets and stray hairs on the towels The mattress was springy, pillows were flat We were told they don’t service rooms, if you wanted clean towels you had to take your old ones down to the desk your self Hallways smell of cigarettes and marijuana Our neighbors smoked so much the smell filled our non smoking room Not enough parking for all the guests, so if you come back too late you may have nowhere to park Not to mention the parking lot displays signs that say “park at your own risk” Do not believe the pictures they display because they are in no way accurate The pool looks like it’s been unused for years, it doesn’t even have any water in it This is by far the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in Spend more and go somewhere else!!!!

I came for a little me time I booked for a week My King Suites was nice and clean and the climate was perfect

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice Miss Connie and miss Ambyr were both very welcoming The pool was the perfect temperature and was clean The only thing I would rate low would be the snacks during the managers reception hours They could be warm finger foods The breakfast was great and the drinks at the bar were OK I do like that it is centrally located to everything I was interested in which made getting around very easy for me

If I could rate this hotel in the negative, I absolutely would Viewing this hotel on line I was really impressed Once arriving to the hotel I was immediately turned off

The building in general was hot and the air was stale and humid When I entered my room it was the exact same I took over an hour for the room to cool and the air to begin circulating Eventually, hours later the room did get cold The restroom stunk so bad, to the point I didn’t even want to go in there to use the restroom nor shower Unfortunately, I had no choice but to do so so I sprayed my perfume which did not help I’m not for certain but it almost seems as though the smell is reeking from bad plumbing, maybe but it’s awful I also took a picture of the ceiling over the hallway sink where it’s bubbling, lumpy and could potentially be mold It looks as though all it was just painted over and that’s it I was highly disappointed with my stay and will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel I expected way more form this hotel, especially at the rate that I payed I know going forward I will not ever stay at any other Embassy Suites hotel due to the dissatisfaction and disappointment I felt This was disgusting and I really hope this feedback reaches someone who can make changes and rectify these issue

HANDICAP REVIEW: This was a great stay! Parking was tight with regards to using our ramp The room was large enough for me to maneuver my power chair The rollin shower was great

The bedroom portion of the room was really tight for my chair and walker The breakfast was great, as it is always at this location This was our third stay at this location The staff members did a great job of making us comfortable and making us feel welcome

I have never actually stayed at this hotel but I park my car here regularly when I’m going out of town The property feels safe and well cared for But the customer service has Always gone above and beyond

Sheri at the front desk always has a bright smile and positive attitude But, on top of that, she goes out of her way to be helpful She showed me that I save money booking directly through the hotel versus using the app And today, she and the morning team went above and beyond to help me catch the morning airport shuttle One person, who wasn’t even a front desk associate, ran ahead of me to punch in the parking lot code so I could drive right through The shuttle driver waited for me and pulled around so I could hop on If this is the kind of service they provide for someone just parking there, I can only imagine the service their guests receive

Long story, short: there’s a lot of hotels in the area, just stay somewhere else unless you want to deal with subpar housekeepingFull story: I stayed here last week, in town for a conference I had an early flight and arrived to the hotel around 8:30am

I have the Marriott app and received a notification to check in early 2 days prior The app lets you put what time you expect to arrive and I put 8am When my flight landed, I called the hotel to confirm my room was ready and that I’d be able to check in I had only gotten 2 hours of sleep and was ready to lay down and take a nap I called three times and couldn’t get through It just rang and then hung up I eventually got through and the woman confirmed that she saw I checked in with an arrival of 8am and that my room was ready When I got to the hotel, the gentleman (who drove the airport shuttle but was now at the desk) said that I would have to pay the early check in fee of $75 No where was that stated in writing, at no point when I checked in on the app did it give me a warning that I would have to pay an additional fee Because I was so tired and didn’t want to sit in the lobby until noon, I just agreed to pay it But if you already have rooms that are available and don’t require any additional work by housekeeping I think the fee is unnecessaryWhen I went up to my room, the elevator floor was dirty and had a roll of toilet paper in it In my room, the shower was not clean I went back downstairs and asked for another room It took awhile for the woman to find another available room but she was nice and apologetic which I appreciated it (young lady with black braids)When I got to the next room, it wasn’t better Again, the shower was not properly cleaned There was some hair in it At this point I was just exhausted and got out my cleaning wipes and wiped down the shower myself I wiped down everything in the room just to be safe Later on, I noticed crumbs on the carpet so it looks like the room was never vacuumed either or at least not thoroughlyThat afternoon I was preparing to take a shower and realized I was missing wash cloths, hand towels, and a bath mat Only had 2 bath towels I called the desk and I had to go downstairs to pick them up Bathroom was also missing a wastebasket The room overall needs some updating and repair The shower door was slightly broken tooUnfortunately, I have a friend who also stayed in a different room and had an even worse experience with her room So it wasn’t just meThe positive: Upon checking out, the woman at the desk was so pleasant and friendly Kudos to her (I think she works the night shift)

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 114 IT SMELLS LIKE URINE IN BETWEEN THE DOUBLE BEDS BY THE NIGHTSTAND IT SMELLS TERRIBLE IN THAT ROOM

THAT SMELL WILL NEVER GO AWAY The rooms are dirty Housekeeping should clean counter tops and surfaces and not leave dirty streaks everywhere There was NO SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER IN THE SHOWER DISPENSER SO I HAD TO USE A BAR OF SOUP TO WASH MY HAIR NOT GOOD The floors are greasy and slippery pretty nasty The workers are nice and accommodating when you need assistance Beds are comfortable pillows are comfortable and just right Pool was nice

This is a decent place to stay Decent amenities and looked like good meeting rooms as well Nice workout area, and a good breakfast buffet

The only issue I had was that our shower curtain didn’t hold the water well at all and the bathroom got all wetI did tell the staff there and they found a better curtain for us very quickly Excellent staff, very courteous and very willing to help

If you had asked me a 4-5 years ago, I’d have given this hotel a 5 but over the years, they’ve let it go downhill really fast Where it used to be maintained regularly, now everything looks dirty and disheveled Not to mention the hotel now carries a musty smell that’s hard to ignore

The front desk staff was still really friendly and personable but that’s where the good part ends You could tell the hotel carpet hadn’t been truly deep cleaned in forever and the room, though spacious, looked like more of a Motel 6 room than a HyattThis hotel used to be my favorite when I was flying in and out of Atlanta but you can tell the management stopped putting effort into taking care of the place because it’s gone downhill pretty quicklyHad I known, I wouldn’t have wasted my money and points here

Sorry excuse for a hotel Only one elevator works and the inside of it is filthy TV quality is from 1996

Inconsistent cleaning/removal of trash…we had to out our trash away or put it outside the room Ugly and small bathroom Breakfast is trash and looks stale Never again I understand it’s a 3 star hotel but I’ve seen better The only good thing is the shuttle to the airport

Made a reservation weeks in advance, and arrived at 6:30pm to learn that no rooms were available We were told that there were 20 dirty rooms and only 2 employees No timeframe was given

Had a hungry family with nowhere to go Was refused a refund (even though they failed their own reservation)!Absolutely unacceptable I’m encouraging no one to ever stay at this (or any) Home2Suites Amazingly poor customer service They literally don’t care about you or your family They literally could not care less

Chris Poythress

Had to move rooms 3 times, and should’ve been more, but we sucked it up In our first room, our couch was messed up and wouldn’t fold out properly In our second room, the bath tub started flooding profusely when we turned on the shower head

In the third room, again couch was messed up, but at least the shower worked!! On our morning of breakfast, there was almost no accommodations available, not nearly enough seating, and subpar breakfast that’s barely warm I’ll be asking for a refund, and will not recommend these rooms to anyone You’re essentially forced into Valet by there being almost no parking reasonably priced nearby 0/10

I was in Atlanta for vending a show at the convention center downtown We chose this particular location to stay because it was relatively inexpensive, and selected it for the availability of a pool for the kids, 9 and 10 We passed over other hotels that were closer to downtown, specifically because we would be able to take the kids to the pool

When we arrived, we parked on the end next to the pool Could see the pool from the outside through a window on the corner of the building It looked fine Went inside the building, and there’s a sign on the door into the pool area saying that it is closed for renovations Yet there obviously is no renovation going on Arrived at the room The heat wouldn’t come on Tried to call the front desk and found that the phone in our room wouldn’t work Walked down to the front desk The front desk person came to the room and did some magic touch to get the heat to come on I had tried the exact same thing and it didn’t work Also complained to the front desk about the pool situation Stated that the IHG app/website did not say anything about the pool being closed for renovations after the front desk person said that reservations should have told us I also paid for the room in advance at an advance saver rate, so the lack of this material information that would have caused me to choose a different hotel was very upsetting The kids were very unhappy The hotel also had the end of the parking lot near the door close to our room blocked off with cones for some inexplicable reasonThere is a pretty view of a lake (and a sharp drop off) behind the hotel There’s also a rather large deck overlooking this lake, located behind the breakfast area Breakfast is still making you get served by somebody instead of being self served

Can’t describe how great our experiences were This hotel is located in a ” mini-city”

There’s everything you need within a 2-5 mile radius! And it’s close to the airport The service was great except when I politely asked the lady who serviced the breakfast meal to reheat my food It was lukewarm and I asked to reheat it myself She got an attitude but did it Other than that I’d recommend this hotel to everyone!

Brent Christensen

The associate at the desk was super helpful and kind Made us feel very welcome We booked two rooms

One of which has not been cleaned We requested a different room The associate at the desk was very apologetic and kindly gave us another room that was clean but missing a pillow case The hotel is clean but showing some decline in maintenance The tub has been patched and walls are scraped Definitely five stars for the kindness of staff that we experienced
