I would give this quality inn a 36 if I could but I wouldn’t give it a 4 The hotel is dated and the room was a solid 4, nice and clean

The breakfast was a 2 with very limited protein selections The driveway was a 15 needing major repairs For the price it is a very good bargain, but if the other hotels weren’t full, I would have gone elsewhere The pool and hot tub we’re both functional and were the highlight of the hotel

Aaron Schroeder

We stayed here for the weekend of Independence Day 2022 and the rooms are very comfortable and furnished nicely They have a brand new parking lot and have been renovating the hotel It’s not the run down Quality Inn it used to be at all

The new owners are very friendly as well We will definitely be back The arboretum and pool are a plus Best deal for the price in this area

Wendy Darling

I had the experience at this hotel All the staff and owners were very friendly and knowledgeable I chatted with the front desk lady for a while and she told me about some upcoming changes being made and I must say there is already a visible difference since renovations started

If improvements continue this one will be on my top 3 favorite hotels list

I don’t normally write reviews, but this one is necessary If I could give this place negative stars, I would The room vents had black dust all over them from not being cleaned-My son and I developed a cough while we were staying here

The paint is peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom The tub has stains all over it The bathroom fan doesn’t work The toilet does not flush right The chairs and booths in the downstairs eating area are so disgusting, my six year old would not even sit down, and honestly, I didn’t want to either We only had the breakfast here once because everything is so dirty The mattress pad on the pull out couch has pee stains on it The elevator door sounds like it’s going to trap you in there because it hasn’t been greased And the evening janitor has an attitude problem The only thing nice I can say is the front desk staff were kind Other than that, I cannot say enough that my family was disgusted by this Hilton and we won’t be back I hope this review saves your family from an gross experience And Hilton, if you read this-get your people there to clean this place up

Fishing With Fisher

I have never stayed at this location prior to this However the customer service that Denise provided me, and her way to make me smile was awesome Great employee abs was happy to make sure that I was taken care of before heading to my room

Wow The room is awesome Photos are of room 503 Incase you are staying and want a room that haves all your needs Full fridge, oven, microwave and a sink Plates and silverware 2 rooms Bathroom is a wee tight But your really in there to do 2 things, as the bathroom sink and mirror is set up right outside Highly recommended

Matthew Schutte

This place was pretty nice to stay at with only a couple inconveniences that we came across If our room,531, had working A/C like what you felt when you walked in the building that would have been great We slept in a 75 degree room all night

Not comforting Also the gym doesn’t actually have free weights like the website described Other than that it was a good experience

I was a little bit skeptical of booking since the reviews were mixed Upon checking in, I was greeted and the receptionist was friendlyThe check in process was smooth and fast

My room was perfect I was only there for one night so I didn’t need much The AC may need to be fixed since I could barely hear or feel the air coming in But I didn’t get hot enough for it to become an issueBreakfast was simple There’s waffles, fruit, bread, muffins and cereal It’s located far enough from the interstate so it’s quiet

Nora Zeller

Great location close to I-70 & Buck Creek State Park Clean rooms & friendly staff, nice, but small, pool and clean pool area Good continental breakfast options; muffins, make your own waffles, Jimmy Dean breakfast croissants, fruit, yogurt, juice and really good coffee

My only complaint is they don’t provide hand/body lotion, and I had forgotten mine Would definitely stay here again

Heather Frye

This hotel needs updated Best part was the lobby Guests don’t stay in the lobby

Another reason I’m rating so low is because I was running late, I had picked up a pair of my jeans and several dollars in quarters had fallen out of my pocket I was going to pick them up when I got back But no need… housekeeping has done it for me, AND KEPT IT!! That’s theft in my opinion Never again will I ever stay at this hotel Very disappointing

Chris Simmons

The design and remodeling was nice CARRIE was awesome super friendly and very consistent and considerate The property manager Danny was harsh and demanding when we asked for simple fixes to the broken TV and phone in our room and then said after the first stay we weren’t allowed back

This was inconsistent and in my opinion homophobic to my needs He was demanding we pay 100$ security deposit after check in We will not come back because of Danny and only would because of Carrie

Paul Landreth-Smith

Ok, this is a Motel 6 so I have it an extra star because you get what you pay for

butReceptionist was really nice and polite Let me park my bike safely under the entrance No complaints about herRoom was weirdly sparse Floor laminate had gaps everywhere Fridge had mold in the freezer sectionAnd the noise people sitting in the hallways, some dude parked outside my window at 0300 playing (pretty good actually) loud dance music,It’s a Motel 6 but even for them a poor one

Alejandra Galvan

I smelled cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in Upon arriving, the place looked sketchy I just needed a room for one night and I thought paying under $100 would be okay but I would recommend any other hotel

My room was huge the one of the sheets on the bed had burnt holes in One window had a huge hole, like someone attempted to shoot with a gun, and the glass is shatteredThe bathroom was clean which was nice But if you’re wanting to feel safe, I would suggest another place Spend your money, it’s worth it

Older, no frills motel but clean and everything in good working order Rooms are clean but have a slight musty aroma from when people used to be able to smoke in them 20+ years ago Noticeable to a non smoker but not overwhelming

Mattresses we’re on the soft and bouncy side but still comfortable Staff is pleasant Location is right across the street from The Nutter Center at Wright State University, so it was a great place to stay for a concert (no parking or traffic hassles) There is also a Speedway right next door for snacks and tailgating essentials We would certainly stay here again if we were going to an event at The Nutter Center

Ellie Foggin

Have stayed twice in 2 weeks and both times was woken up to staff hammering on the door and before I can even answer barging into the room Only thing that stopped them coming clear in both times was the security latch The deadbolts are a joke snd they did this even with having the do not disturb tag on the handle

Very unfortunate for someone working 3rd shift and trying to get some rest Needless to say, I won’t be staying again

Shawna Nichols

Housekeeping very rude The women at the front desk were snotty but the men were nice Jealous women I’m guessing

Also no coffee in the mornings when women worked nights Said they didn’t feel like making it The rooms had fast growing mold in them I cleaned with bleach daily which helped some but we still got sick and we’re still sick We’re almost at the end of the journey we had to be on so will start the next journey that unfortunately is part 2 because of this part Stay tuned

Great location outside of base Gate 12A is right beside this hotel Good food options both downstairs in the attached pub and within driving distance

Relatively big room with all the accommodations we needed: big desk to work remotely, good size refrigerator, decent sized TV/variety of channels, etc The bed wasn’t super comfortable though The shower had good water pressure and was able to heat up nicely The hotel was outdated but in overall very good condition and clean They have high quality water filters on every floor which was really nice They also have a little store in the lobby that has drinks and snacks available for purchase Last but not least, the customer service was outstanding and SO accommodating!!

Jessica Glancy

Used the conference center for a wake The staff was super helpful The prices were reasonable

The food was excellent and the event space/room was clean I would recommend this venue The only confusing part was getting there The driveway to the hotel is inside Wright Patt airforce base gate B You turn immediately to the right to the access road, just before the security gate

Arthur Brown

The Hotel is in an awesome location and the staff is great The rooms are OK but a bit out of date I was a tad disappointed at the channel lineup (cartoon network/ Adult Swim is listed but not available) and the WiFi speed was meh

The refrigerator was not very cold and not adjustable (luckily we brought our cooler and had an ice machine right outside our room) but the AC in the room had no issues with the 90+ heat outside Would recommend but could use some updating

Breakfast was pretty decent and staff was friendly and helpful Rooms need some work however we would stay here again but only at the rate we received this time ( very discounted) The TV is like a 24in very small the channels are like air antenna I’m not even sure if it was cable and the toilets have this weird rust ring kinda gross

The beds were by far the least comfortable of all we have stayed on they make noise when you roll over They do have a mini fridge and decent parking

angie forristal

Checked in and went to our room only to find out that it was already occupied The manager was not very apologetic & offered us a room with a king bed & sleeper sofa Was not happy as I had two teenage boys with me

Gave us someone else’s room with 2 queen beds The room was disgusting The toilet in the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in ages & the tub was gross Honestly, one of the worst bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel Very disappointed as I usually like Hampton Inns

Amõr

Checked in on a Saturday evening When checking in we seen a huge family with a lot of children My mother specifically said she did not want put on the same floor due to the noise and us having to be up early

We later found out that we were put on the same floor around 3am when there was a loud knock on the room door When i opened the door kids were running away laughing and ran into a room at the other end of the hall We also had to wait for 3 hrs for a manager to come unclog our tub and that made us late for work They moved our room and that night around 3 am a BED BUG crawled from behind the headboard on to the other pillow on my bed Also there were spotty white stains on the chair Our room was moved again and there were so many crumbs on the floor at this point my mother and I wanted to sleep in the car! When all of the issues were brought to the manager’s attention he didnt even react When I showed him pictures of the bug he was nonchalant like they were already aware of the situation already and still LET GUESTS CHECK IN Long story short it was disgusting, rooms were not cleaned properly and they have bed bugs Management is aware and pretty much just brushed it off They comped our stay just to end the conversation If I can add pictures I will WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 🗣🗣

Henil the manager was very kind and helpful Staying here for work for an extended assignment and he was able to help me book an extended stay at one solid price for each stay Took time to speak with me and didn’t rush me off the phone like all the other hotels have done

He helped get rid of a lot of stress on my plate! Thanks so much!!!

Maddox

all the staff from front desk to housekeepers are all friendly and very welcoming The only issue i got staying here was my door The power of the door where you swipe your key card kept messing up and i could not go in

Few times the front desk guy Adai assisted and the housekeeper as well but It was very frustrating because it has happened a few times Not a bad hotel , the room is nice, just the door kept messing up

Katrina ragland

This was far the worst hotel ever I was charged double for my stay plus $100 deposit The room was full of ants in my bed and everywhere

The refrigerator didn’t work and the sheets were not clean I left the hotel with only one void Manager was supposedly be out of town $300 was taken out of my account and I had to drive 30 minutes out to find another room at midnight Not Accommodated for my Inconvenience I should of read reviews plus manager is staying the same thing for over a year about other complaints many people have had This is why it’s so cheap I had to push one star to complete my review No stars needed

This was an awesome place to stay Loved all the staff at this establishment Absolutely loved the hostess that served breakfast every morning

She was so kind, friendly, hard worker, and so much more All the Marriotts should have a hostess like this Awesome Woman The rooms were absolutely awesome Cannot complain about anything

Jenny Infosino

When I arrived there was no one at the front desk I waited about 5 minutes and walked around, used the restroom and came back to the front deskStill, no one there except another customer now

Imanother 5 minutes go by and finally a woman comes to the front, ignored the customers standing there and proceeded to take a phone call and assist the person on the phoneCustomer service—- NOT greatWhen she did help, it was weird as she was kind of friendly and slightly apologetic for the time wasted but still went about other things before helping us Strangest check in ever!Room is fine It’s cold with nothing on the hard floors Part of me appreciates this as you can clearly see if it’s clean or not 7 out of 10 for cleanliness for me It does make it colder and less friendly but also imagine all the funky junk your feet aren’t touching?I slept, I woke and had breakfast It was not worth hanging around for as there was no attendant so god knows how long the warm food- eggs and ham and eggs and sausage- had been sitting there Stale breads to put in one little toaster Yogurt and hard boiled eggs…This hotel has a lot of work- mostly staffing (as -is the times) to get up to standard I deliver for Amazon flex for extra money and occasionally get a hotel in the area since this is close to the warehouse and I live 25 miles away I will be doing this again but NOT here I am so mad that I left stuff in the room when I worked from 4am-8 as I drove all the way back up to grab a bag of clothes and a subpar breakfastFor time- the worst part of the experience is no customer service… or less then Marriott standards IMO

Kevin is amazing we drove in extremely late at night , he was able to get us a great deal on a very clean room I wish I had more time to explore the hotels offerings but from what I saw it was very nice and not overly expensive the bedding was comfortable, the room was spacious and quiet Parking was a breeze and it is located next to some great food options

10/10 would stay again

Theresa Penick

This hotel was pretty decent The continental breakfast was pretty tasty, though they were slow to keep items filled with 45+ minutes left of breakfast time None of us slept very well because the mattresses were too firm

Housekeeping was fine and the room was clean It kind of sucked that there was not a cart to be found in our building when we were taking everything to the car early in the morning I would probably stay here again

B. Bowen

The property is spread out with many outdoor amenities to enjoy for that home away from home feel! There is an outdoor pool, half court basketball(Front desk has basketball balls), and a very clubhouse type feel with a nice outdoor patio and sitting area These are all things that are nice to enjoy of your here for a few days or on a work trip for a few weeks

checked in an had a great experience the front desk staff was wonderful on the night of 02JUL2019 I wish I had got her name so I could give her the props she deserved We booked are room as we were driving in town, and she did a great job having everything prepared before we pulled up! Just heads up the parking lot is currently being ground up and replaced But this had little to no impact on our stayjust a heads up!

The room was so clean and so comfortable!! We were on the first floor and there was absolutely no noise We didn’t hear people running up and down the halls, we didn’t hear loud carts rolling by from house keeping early in the morning The only issue I had was with front desk when we arrived

The young man asked what’s the last name, both me and my husband quickly said our last name and the young man snickers and says, “so you both have the same last name”? I said yes actually we do! Mind you my husband is a white man and I’m a dark skinned black woman I hope in the future he is careful about how he greets his guest Other than that 100 thumbs up for this Comfort suites Whoever manages head of house keeping deserves a raise

Bryan Yake

Worst hotel in America, guaranteed!! And we’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels We were charged twice for the hotel room, still have not received the credit from a double charge, and will most likely need to dispute further and take legal action Front desk person was told that when we arrived the plumbing in the hotel room did not work and was clogged with EXCREMENT

That individual informed us we were on our own in the stink filled room until a plumber could be called within a day or two The next day there was a ARMED drug/gang related problem that worried the entire hotel, and 911 was called How many issues can you have with a simple poorly run hotel in Springfield OHIO, well answers is many and its unbelievable? We will start the legal process to attempt credit to the false charges, but PLEASE STAY AWAY, THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER PLACE WE WILL AVOID COMFORT SUITES INDEFINITELY!I will say that thankfully the police did respond within around 15 minutes and secured the location, however we were told that the masked gunmen were never identified, so not sure STAY AWAY and BEWARE!

This was a great place to stay! Ron is so friendly and nice and makes a great breakfast The house is so cool and the decor is true to the time period There are so many neat little things that make it special

There is a fridge in every room as well as a bathroom The area is beautiful as is the house Ron the owner was also very accommodating and super nice I would stay here again anytime!

Rebecca Sinopoli

We received above and beyond service from the staff at Emma’s! We had to get back early for a conference and they prepared our breakfast early and accommodated my special menu requests and if that isn’t enough, they even delivered us back to our car that was left at the venue from the night before! All this for the customary tip Our beds were very comfortable too Highly recommend

Kim Maloy

We rented the entire house for a leadership planning retreat, and a retreat it was The weather was perfect so we utilized the back deck for our meetings The owner, Ron, is a joy to talk with and truly cares about his guests

We had a few specific requests for our meeting times and Ron was more than accommodating The rooms are huge, clean, inviting, and very comfortable Breakfast each morning was excellent The house still contains all of its original charm, with some modern amenities I absolutely recommend it

Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and pet friendly hotel in a decent feeling part of downtown I would stay here againDetailed Review:We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly and we were traveling with our husky

We stayed three nights and it was overall a good experience There is a long strip of grass that is shaded for walking the dog It’s just a short walk across the parking lot There’s quite a bit of dog waste though, which is sad I bring bags and clean up after mine Perhaps if the hotel provided a clean-up station people would be more responsible I feel any pet-friendly hotel should do that to help encourage clean-upWe were on the third floor and it was very quiet I never heard anyone else except for nearby doors closing Of course, we had the air conditioner and fan on all the time, so there was lots of gray noise There are railroad tracks close by so you will hear trains go by if you’re on that side (which we were) but they weren’t bothersome to usThe hotel and room were all very clean and appear to have been recently renovated and modernized No strong scents (good or bad) Everything in the room worked fine TV is large, and you can log into your Netflix account and stream if you want to TV is super slow to react to pushing buttons on the remote, but I find that is common in hotels Lots of outlets including USB so you can charge all your devicesIn the shower they provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in pump bottles attached to the shower wall That’s a great way to do it, less waste and you actually have enough product to use It has a very gender-neutral scent and my husband and I both used it I usually don’t like hotel provided toiletries but these weren’t bad Water pressure in the shower was decent, and plenty of hot waterBed was comfortable, a medium firm and soft Couldn’t have been too old, it wasn’t sagging or anything Linens were clean and comfortable Towels were plush and soft Large vanity in the bathroom with full mirrorWe had a king bed and a loveseat with ottoman, which was nice to have There was also a desk and chair and a mini fridge Plenty of space for two adults and a dog There is a coffee maker and coffee (which is only okay) I’d suggest bringing jugs of drinking water because the tap water is absolutely horrible tasting Makes the coffee taste awful too I have tap water at home and it’s not anywhere near that badStaff are pleasant and friendly Everyone we ran into seemed to love dogs, tooAll rooms are interior entry, and some have balconies There are stairs that exit to the side of the building, and we used those with the dog sometimes because she was afraid of the elevator The grounds are well kept and they have lovely gardens and flowers all around which makes it feel nice Parking lot was recently re-surfaced and is in excellent conditionWe did not eat or drink at the attached restaurant, and dogs aren’t allowed in there There are several places to get food and adult beverages within walking distance There are even more options within a short driveThis is a pricey hotel but the quality seems to reflect what they charge I would certainly pick this place again with our dog

Had an excellent experience here! Had to stay for a whole month over the holiday’s due to work While I was there, everyone was friendly and helpful, the staff really took care of me Sam and Tiffany on the front desk made sure I had what I needed and when I had an issue took prompt action

Terri at the bar is a superstar! Nick is a jack of all trades, no telling where you will see him Doesn’t matter though, wherever he is, he is taking care of business! Betty Joe in the restaurant will ensure that you are taken care of as well Speaking of the restaurant, Karol (chef) got my steaks perfect EVERY time! Last but not least, Crystal in housekeeping made sure I was supplied with the essentials at all times Also, it is incredible how many rooms she could knock out in a short period of timeOh! If you like crispy bacon, they definitely have it!Thank you again my Springfield family for putting up with my antics and taking care of me during my extended stay I don’t know if/when I will be returning, but if I do, you know where I’ll be staying!Lastly, the other amenities, such as free washing machine ($1 dry), and free laundry products were nice as well

Are you a Silver, Gold, Platinum or wait…Titanium Marriott member?! Don’t answer! It doesn’t matter here! Because the front desk staff doesn’t really care The hotel doesn’t really care eitherThis particular location is still doing the Covid dance

Need your room cleaned?! No…it’s not automatic! You need to tell the front desk the NiGHT before! Who knew!Need a late checkout because you assume that your Marriott status is valid here?! Trying negotiating a late checkout Or maybe begging…or?!Good luck with your stay fellow travelers…
