See my other review first I want to say that Ron, who is worth all of the 5 and more, is our hero I’d put them on this review but I do want people to have all of the information available to them

He moved us 1 floor up and right away stepping off the elevator, you could tell the distinct difference in cleanliness This room is clean and best of all, doesn’t have a smell to it, which is GOOD!! My sincere thanks to Ron for understanding and being so accommodating He was always so nice to us during this whole thing

The quality of the rooms are not worth the money Honestly if you stay there you will be given 5 star service, which I would like to recognize crystal and Dana for all there hard work in making my stay better Also Stephanie and destiny for the friendly welcome during breakfast

But I seen stain sheets, stain on carpets, roaches, digital key didn’t work, tv wasn’t working, and mold on the new room they try to switch me too I had to come straight home and wash everything in my bags This was just an over night stay and it was not comfortable Theses matter is a owner issue and not the staff that works there If I can take all the staff members with me to my place of business I would not think twice Below are some of the pictures with the mold and old carpet This is not Hilton quality and they most do something about this because it’s to expensive to stay in this conditions

He’s the standard of Hotel Management and I will be recommending this hotel to my company and all my colleagues who travel through this area quite frequently, thank you Homewood Suites for hiring such an exquisite gentleman !!

I left this hotel at midnight without staying The rooms are filthy There was hair all over the sheets and chairs were covered in stains

The entire hall smelled like weed There were several occupants letting people in the side doors which are not supposed to be entry ways In the parking lot, occupants were honking aggressively while we tried to park This is just not a clean, safe, relaxing environment There are much better hotels about 15 minutes from this place Do yourself a favor and make the extra drive

‘Describe your stay’- I didn’t stay!!! I checked in 3:15, and out by 5! While I’m fully aware of “you get what you pay for” any establishment should be upheld to the highest standard when 1) servicing people 2) charging for this service! Initially, when I got there I didn’t look around, I went to get food I came back to eat When I went to wash my hands, I noticed blood on the rag!! 😳 I then went to check the bed

1) there were 2 pillows for a king size bed, one of which has blood stains on the case!!! 2) when I pulled the comforter back, there was hair and a bed mat/pad 🤔 further, there were brownish wet stains, and what appeared to be crumbs or shavings of something It was brown as well When I went to the front desk inquire, the young man told me “the only other ones are in the washer right now” Why is there not a plethora of sheets, towels and washcloths!? There was no issues with cancelling and getting my refund A positive, the front desk staff was pleasant- the checkin/checkout process was smooth When I called regarding the refund, the young lady that checked me in apologized for the inconvenience

Absolutely adorable cottages and fantastic breakfast! Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean Everything in the room is placed perfectly and with great detail Breakfast was delicious, especially the scones! Property is well maintained and the lights at night are a great romantic touch

We will definitely be staying there again The owner is extremely kind!

mark popik

Most certainly a wonderful stay-cation! Kris and Allen operate a first-class B&B! The house is spacious, lots of room to roam, sit, read, play games (I beat my wife at checkers, she beat me at Yahtzee) Breakfast was exceptionally delicious (choose the french toast)! My wife and I had the opportunity to sit/talk with Kris and Allen about the house and how Pinner House evolved into a bed and breakfast I highly recommend Pinner House, you will not be disappointed

Julie Vicic

What a find! The Pinner house was absolutely perfect! The home itself is stunning – the charm of a historic home with beautiful modern upgrades and high end decor Luxe fabrics, layered textures, soft music, delicious smells – the attention to detail in creating the ambience of this home is apparent The bed was just as cozy! Aside from the furnishings, the service was impeccable

The delightful owners live just beyond the main house and we’re available for every need or question, but were intentional in providing their guests space We felt like we had the house all to ourselves The breakfast was so perfectly constructed in cute boxes for each guest with fresh baked scones that were to die for They truly thought of everything! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality ❤️

I checked into hotel 315 for one night because we wanted to head to Virginia Beach for a day As soon as we walked into the hotel it smelled like cigarettes and mold We went to our room and everything looked okay

There was some mold and the air smelled weird The sheets were clean but they had burn holes and some stains The employees were kinda rude We asked for more towels and he rolled his eyes and got an attitude The good thing is the shower gets really hot after a few minutes We fell asleep and got woken up at 5am because this loud alarm went off twice in the hallway The stay was pretty good for the price, but there were downfalls to it

Keyz Richardson

Room was disgusting and had black stains all over the sheets! Moldy rotten food left behind in the fridge The dust was an abundance Room stuck like feet and wet dog

The beds had food and beer bottle caps in them Everything was outdated They tried to use window curtains as a blanket to hide stains on bed sheets/bed! The staff and owner are completely unprofessional The whole building looks like a trap house Moldy everything! Dirty microwaves/ fridges! Cockroaches in beds! I would NEVER recommend staying at this place! My experience was beyond disgusting with this place The owner and staff have no class or reasoning for their guests! Whole place is a hole in the wall If you want roaches crawling on you and bed bugs bitting you I suggest you stay there! I wouldn’t even recommend a animal to stay there! They will not refund you and try to steal your money! This place should be condemned that’s all!

There were so many things wrong with this hotel I went through the rooms before I even found one that was decent There was a whole in the floor in room 307 and I was told to be careful when I got to that side of the room

Ionly weigh 117lbs and I sank down into the floor scared to death I complained and switched to room 309 and this room had holes in the wall, unfinished painting on the wall where five other holes were patched, mold in the bathroom floor corners, and stains on the top blankets Once again I complained and I was moved to room 305 where it was a bit better the bathroom was DISGUSTING, and the blankets on the bed had several stains and holes with the mattress cover just dirty brown in several spots The smell in all the rooms that I saw was unbearable It was the worst! I am disappointed in Hotelscom for having such a terrible location on their site Hotelscom did nothing to back me except call the location and hear everything I stated was fact from the front desk clerk/ owner This hotel should be condemned and properly brought to code

Breakfast was great! Big selection and different breakfast everyday Bed was comfortable and clean Front desk manager, Joe, was nice and helpful

Floor wasn’t swept that well nor the table wiped down in my suite, which was something I could live with since the bed was clean and the suite in general was relatively clean The only real issue for me was that the shower and sink water smelled like bleach!! Even my wash cloth and towel smelled like bleach after it was dry the next day

First day, Room 502 smelled like weed/smoke (my husband has asthma) and had holes in the shower with a spider in it Scared my daughter so bad she almost fell out trying to get away Its ironic we left a quality inn due to the smell of smoke thinking the Hilton would be more upscale

We ended up switching to room 302 Second day, pool and hot tub closed; family was all geared up to swim but that didn’t happen Third day, the pool was closed (hotel maintenance) and this was the last day I was there I booked this stay for a large clean room and for the pool so I could spend poolside time with family whom I was visiting The price for this room compared to the lack in Hilton service coupled with smoky, outdated rooms was severely outweighed and truly a let down However, the housekeepers and receptionist were amazing 2 stars for good housekeeping (despite the spider), a comfortable bed, and pleasant receptionists Also, the digital key did not work on any doors

Enjoyed my weekend Staycation The king size Junior Suite was very comfortable The made to order omelet, 2 meats , pancakes and fruit for breakfast were tasty and there were a variety of breakfast choices as well as dinner choices in the Evening

I most enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzziFor warmer days or nights they also have a grill station and patio area But one hidden treasure I discovered there was the ballroom with its own private entrance available and boardroom which would be great for celebrations, weddings, reunions or moreAnd the staff from the front desk to breakfast to housekeeping was amazing

Silas Calhoun

Some guest(s) violated hotel policy by smoking in the rooms This is a challenge that many hotel brands face However, there should be mechanisms in place to prevent, ideally, or reduce the aftereffects

Smoke trickling into your room is an awful thing to wake up to IMO Aside from things that were uncontrollable, the staff was exceptional Engaging and accommodating making my overall experience a decent one I’d rate them a 45 🌟 if they can find a way to prevent guests from smoking in rooms

I reserved 2 rooms recently with 2 beds each All 4 white comforters had stains all over them One had a huge light red spot… one had big brown spots and the other 2 had yellow

Obviously not washed at all or even looked at before making the beds again Also sticky food splatter all over the inside and outside of the microwave And a medical-looking glove behind the toilet which I didn’t touch for obvious reasons Not to mention an additional $25 charge (not on the website) when you check in

It was the absolute worst stay I have ever had in a hotel/motel The first night we woke up to House keeper trying to forcefully open our door It scared my kids so bad because the top latch opened enough for the housekeeper to actually see into my room

The top latch actually was loose after, that is how hard they pushed on it The next day they skipped my room for housekeeping, so I stepped outside to their cart and requested at least towels They said they would be right back with towels, and they never came back I than went to the office and they said they would bring me some in a little That never happened I went to the office later that night, and once again got denied towels The guy in the office told me there was nothing he could do, and it wasn’t his problem I thought towels should be available 24/7 in a hotel?!? I than told him I was very disappointed in the service at the hotel, and he replied with “thank you” We drove 9 hours to have a good vacation with our family, and this is the service we get I highly recommend looking for a different place to book from if you stay in the area

James Ferrill

I had my flight cancel due to bad weather, i understand and realize that sometimes, the delays and cancellations happen after you’ve arrived at the airport Once the bad news has been delivered, what should you do? I can tell you what i did, which is arranged a new flight with the airline and i called the manager at quality Inn & suites to informed them about my situation The Airlines was most accommodating with giving me a full refund on a non-refundable ticket i have brought as well as offered me free changes to my flight

Quality Inn & suites was not as accommodating when i asked to have my stayed moved to another date that i would be able to travel again I was told i would be charge a one night stay regardless I this particular circumstance it would have been grateful to let me reschedule my visit I am a 100% permanent and total disabled veteran and can not afford to be paying for services to events that is out of my control Military members and Veterans please avoid this place if you can

Super friendly staff! Exceptionally clean rooms, smelled like pine sol throughout the room/hallways/lobby good morning breakfast with many items to choice from Also very clean dining area

My family & I were very pleased with our over all experience! BIG SHOUT OUT TO WHITNEY & THE LADY WHO DOES THE BREAKFAST AREA! Job well done!! 🍀👍💐🙄

Suzie Jackson

This location is on point The rooms are clean and up-to-date They offer free breakfast which has eggs, muffins, a meat, oatmeal, grits, waffles, cereal, fruit and jucies and coffee

well laid out The only thing I would complain about is during the breakfast rush the morning I went down the head lady had the other lady mop before there was no spills I was watching and everybody was trying to get their food and the floor was super wet the other lady said something about it and the head lady said no they know what they’re doing but customers shouldn’t have to be walking around on a wet floor while trying to get their breakfast and slipping and sliding at the risk of falling that could have waited until the breakfast was over But that was my only complaint and it is a logical one I believe Now this place is simple there is no restaurant there is no bar but the eating area is a really nice atmosphere you could sit in non-breakfast hours and work on your laptop comfortably Has a very nice indoor pool a decent enough gym a work room and meeting rooms The night manager Cedric was great he was very personable and helpful I like the decor theme of this property and it is refreshing I love the size of the bathrooms and the modern walk-in shower There are convenient ice machines and vending machines throughout the entire building The customer service seems truly dedicated for the most part to making the customer happy I also want to shout out to Whitney for quick to help! Over all this Hampton is great! Oh and one more thingthe last two Hilton Gardens properties I satyed in stank literally ht this Hampton by Hilton smelled great everywhere I went!!!They seem to work well as a team and try to make you feel comfortable UPDATEtoday Cedric was as pleasant as always checking on me Also a young lady saw me in the sitting area working on my computer and it was hard to focus with the tv so loud but she approached me and asked if I would like the tv turned down some so I could focus!!!I didn’t even ask but wanted toI love it when people in hospitality are thoughtful and not just doing bare bones minimum!!! Shes a rock starand guess what her name is actually Star!!!!

Room floor wasn’t clean Had toilet issues TV seemed like I went back to the 90s

I had to click thru each channel to see what was on television because it didn’t have a guide screen plus not a smart tv so no Netflix or YouTube either No HBO or movie Channels that I could find Awful since it’s 2022! Staff was nice Location is convenient to stores, nail salon and highway

Loved staying here with my dog! The staff is the best I’ve ever encountered – helpful, courteous, friendly & very willing to clean my room on my schedule Great area to walk with my dog Free laundry facilities provided on site

Location was great, with several good restaurants within walking distance I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

The company booked me at the wrong hotel on a last minute reservation then refused to release me to seek the proper branch when I noticed I will never lodge with this company againThis specific hotel had passable rooms

The water never got above lukewarm and the towels were extremely scratchy

Staff was wonderful, but hotel really needs some cleaning and updating Trash was overflowing by elevator Elevator doors definitely needed cleaned, looks like someone spilled coffee or something all over them and they were like that our entire stay

Our room was nice but the shower curtain had an inch of thick mold growing across the bottom and we had one towel that’s all

Alicia Midey

Had amazing service here! This is the second year in a row I have made a trip to Suffolk and stayed The staff was all very helpful and kind Made me and all my guests feel welcomed

Marshall, the manager, really stood out He helped us even carry our bags and deliver some things to our friends staying there as well I will stay here again

Erica Anstey

The hotel was nice It looks like they have been upgrading it little by little Our room wasn’t as clean as it could be (very dusty) but the beds were comfy

Would be nice if they had more upgraded ways to charge devices My only real issue was that our room clearly had someone smoking in it before us (it’s a non smoking hotel) We tried to switch rooms but the Febreez smell was so strong in all the other rooms that I could not handle it It’s waaaaay overpowering I’m not sure if they are trying to cover something up The staff were super nice in trying to accommodate me though If you are sensitive to smells and chemicals, do not stay here
