Actually I’m not done, the Expedia account is under MY name She is listed under me and I booked the whole thing for her! And I’m sure there is recording of ME personally assisting with her checkin! My ID etc That’s the only reason I referenced “we”

She told me that night she was not comfortable with her stay so I told her to inquire about a early checkout and the refund process Hence the 6am inquiring Your staff said to contact our 3rd party so we did! At the end of the day Expedia wanted to issue me my refund but you all refused so don’t tell me to take it up with them?! 8+ years and I have never had this problem with them! They handle things accordingly and with professionalism unlike you all

Again, I really can’t explain why I booked 3 nights, but the system booked for 4, as I mentioned Even if it was an honest mistake by not seeing the error done by the system, until later on

if that did not impede you from booking to someone else, I don’t understand why you took advantage of that I have stayed at your hotel many times, but won’t stay anymore From your response, it seems like you don’t care about losing my business

Jewell Booth

Good value for the price It is well decorated, offers the hot breakfast that most places no longer serve, and is in walking distance to a few restaurants and a supermarket I wasn’t impressed with the overall cleanliness

My first room did not have heat And one of the beds in my second room had a huge dip in the mattress All of the staff were very nice

I stayed at this hotel for Miss Texas USA 2022 weekend! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! My room was clean when I arrived Using a digital key is so nice because I didn’t have to keep up with an actual room key It was all done from my phone! The buffet breakfast in the mornings was well worth the money

I felt safe staying here with my daughter Can’t wait to stay again!

Nicole

This hotel was okay The lobby ambiance was beautiful The bar and restaurant had excellent service along with great food and drinks

However, the rooms are very small and outdated The balcony is horrible, but the view was great The rooms are too small for the money spent We also had an issue with being overcharged for our room, but they fixed the problem once notified This would not be my go-to place to stay again if I were to visit Houston again Great location near the mall and delicious restaurants

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downReally enjoyed my stay here You can tell that the rooms are older The view of the lake was just what i needed daily I started here for bushes and it was perfect for my needs They do have a bar and food selections are limited They also serve free breakfast in the mornings

Rachel Phương Lê

Very comfortable bed, spacious They have a walkway with a little bridge that you can walk across to restaurants and shopping, great for jogging as well They are also pet friendly, great area to stay!Downside is they don’t clean the place very well so our room smelled like dog pee

Their selection for breakfast is extremely limited There were instant eggs and sausage patties, instant oatmeal and cereal Ask for drinks milk and Orange juice, extremely limited The pool is very small, and there are no microwaves in your room, you must walk down to the lobby to heat up everything

Steve Flaherty

Customer service is severely lacking I don’t blame the staff, as I question the management The keys are always having to be reconfigured

They might have Diet Coke or Coke, but rarely both Nice rooms and location But in all my travels, this place does not meet expectations! I don’t look forward to coming back every week only to be confronted by a hotel that doesn’t appreciate the ‘customer experience’ They have good people but their hands are tied Not a typical Hyatt, from my experience Wish I had something better to say I’m disappointed with this place

Room was visually nice, but improvements needed on housekeeping Clothing from previous occupant left in the closet Side table was dusty

Maintenance was needed in the bathroom in room 517 Door to bathroom did not latch Shower door appeared to either move a little during a shower or was not sealed well This resulted in a lot of water on the floorWalls were thin We could hear someone talking or yelling They were like 3 rooms down with their door closed

Leah Green

The building has a gas smell The smell is very strong when entering the building When I entered the room it smells like urine

The smell is coming from air conditioner There is no hot water for the shower The Kerig coffee maker in room just disgusting looks like it’s hasn’t been clean since it was placed in the room When contacted front desk she did not suggest anything to accommodate these short falls I’m not sure the bathroom was cleaned well There is little to no tissue on the roll upon arrivalThis is the worst Hilton I ever stayed at

Chef Cinu Chandrann

Rooms are goodAll inclusive Breakfast was funny Just cereals and fruits, not even eggs

They charge you another 10$ for an omletteBetter add that 10$ in the room rate and give a decent breakfastFront Staff is not that friendly i felt

We had an excellent stay Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating Our check in person was Brandi, and she answered all of our questions and made check in a breeze

Hot continental breakfast with plenty of options, served until 10amRooms were clean, spacious, and VERY modern Water pressure and lighting in the bathroom were great as wellRonnie checked us out after our stay, and was equally as friendly as Brandi during our check in5/5, I would absolutely stay here again Free parking and breakfast was a huge plusThey also have an indoor pool, that we did not get to utilize but we did check it out and it was decent size and clean

shirley M

I would have given more stars like to a 5 but the rooms needs improvement in cleaning and dusting especially when the guest leaves the room! The food ( breakfast ) was a plus! The price is reasonable considering the location! Of this hotel Also it’s pretty brand new hotel! My husband is a neat freak and we can see dust flying from the curtains to bedsheets……Due to pandemic, we did not request maid service, we cleaned our own room but I don’t think they do thorough cleaning when a guest checks out!

Maggie Lingner

I would like to start off with the fact that the staff were all welcoming and the breakfast food was fresh & nicely prepared, but that’s about all of the praise I have to say The toilet in our room frequently ran after use, and we had to take off the lid and adjust it from the inside almost every time The TV did not work and when we asked to get it looked at no one ever came by to fix it

The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, the swing bar lock on our door was missing, there was a hole in the one of sheets, part of the floor was sticky, and worst of all their pool was closed for maintenance, which was not indicated on their website at all If we knew it was closed we would have stayed at a different Holiday Inn Express because the pool is a big appeal to us I have been at many other Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years so I know this is not the usual standard for their company I expected more from this hotel The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the breakfast was good and the staff were kind, maybe a bit overworked and I know how hard it can be to find enough workers

When checking in we met one of the managers Kristy She is a great asset to this establishment she so kind and really does make your stay and experience feel 5star She let us know what was available and how everything worked with the Starbucks and the gym

Great personality and very beautiful Hotel is amazing very up to date and top notch all around House staff is on top of everything as a result rooms were very clean and fresh

I think this Courtyard could be 4 stars for some But i have been in so many, I start to notice when they need a refresher:) the lobby is nice and modern Fairly clean too, they have the standard ‘bistro’ there too

Staff was friendly and helpful The neighborhood itself was a little concerning for those who dont get out much lots of gates to ‘protect’ your car The area is near a wide variety of food and some quite good The rooms well, not bad, but seem dated and my spare sheets had seen better days I might not have started poking around if the popcorn ceiling was cleaned or removed and improved But given some of the lowest rates in the area, maybe I am asking too much?

Christina Callaway

I made my reservations on priceline And when I checked in I was actually A-day late on my reservation due to being stuck in an airport But when I got there everyone was very polite very understanding The facility was clean, the rooms were extremely comfortable

It was quiet and personally I will definitely book there again I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place in the middle of Houston

First time staying at a Hampton Inn and Suites and my experience was a very pleasant one The hotel itself is nice I reserved two suites with king beds and both were nice

My only complaint is that the shower water pressure was extremely low I think the shower head probably needs to be replaced My suite came with a microwave, a good size fridge, and a little bar area with a faucet Also had a couch and a table so I could spread out and do some work The bed was pretty comfortable but will probably need to be upgraded soonMy main reason for this review though is for the staff The staff here are very friendly, very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to help everyone After I checked out (late checkout is 1 pm), I had to wait around for about six hours for a friend to arrive and thankfully, they let me sit in their lobby area which had plenty of tables and chairs I think the area is also used for breakfast which they offer every morning The staff checked on me to see if I needed anything and made waiting pleasant In particular, Brandy, was probably the nicest person that I have ever came into contact with at a hotel She was very friendly, very accommodating and always had a smileAlso, the pool is great! Always has sun on it and crystal clean water The chairs were comfortable too Also, right outside the hotel to the side is a large soccer field area with a track and tons of grass Great for jogging and for dogs, if you have them Enjoyed my time by the pool as well as my stay here Overall, great hotel!

Patia LaCour

Our stay was nearly perfect The hotel is older, but it was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating Our rooms were comfortable when we arrived

The check in and check out for easy The breakfast was sustainable The location was safe and near some shopping We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice We had some noise issues of kids running up and down the hall, but management handled the situation when we called

rogueacosta

Stayed here last weekend and it was not the best of experiences Had to call for the elevator on the third floor due to the button not functioning Staff was less than pleased to get the calls about this despite having heavy items that I needed to take down two days in a row

Not my first stay here, but this was quite the inconvenience made worse by the discontent at providing service Breakfast was generally poorer than normal as well Long time Hilton traveler but this was below expecation

I got an incredibly good deal through Costco Travel — so I figured the accommodations would not be very nice I was so wrong! The room was gorgeous and had lots of features I really found helpful: a long bench you could use for suitcases or whatever instead of a single flimsy luggage stand Also

HOOKS! I wished my family was with me So many hotels just have one hook in the bathroom and it’s hard to keep track of whose towel is hose, have more than one bathroom kit up, etc I love the little key and purse stand in the front entry way The shower was hot and had water pressure The staff was SUPER nice and competent I also loved that the hotel itself was so close to so many dining options I was able to walk to the Mediterranean restaurant and pick up a lovely meal, walk to the gas station, and later drive to a pharmacy Oh yeah, the fitness center was pretty nice too Breakfast was yummy And last but not least, they were so kind to us coffee drinkers There were 3 types of caffeinated coffee in the room and I could even go get coffee in the afternoon from the lobby Coffee=happiness Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Hotel Seems new My family and I enjoyed our room

Very spacious and clean We stayed on the first floor, the room has desk for working, a mini fridge, multiple lamps and a very, very nice bathroom We loved the back lit mirror Breakfast was available with so many options to choose from eggs, cereal, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and juices and coffee to name a few But the highlight for us, was realizing that the pillows and bed lining was hypoallergenic Our son has severe allergies and it was really nice to be able to sleep without him having breathing issues all night We really did appreciate that The staff was very helpful as well and onsight free parking, steps away from a few shops was nice as well

Highly recommend! This hotel is in a great location, surrounded by shopping and food Parking is free in a parking garage (self parking) and staff was so kind and always greeted me I was able to check in early and told them I was traveling with a 14 month old so my room was prepared with a crib, baby bath and bath mat for the tub! The bed was very comfortable, we slept great! Housekeeping did a great job, we stayed 4 nights and they refreshed our room whenever we needed it

Queenie, the director of operations followed up very often to make sure our stay was going well and she was very responsive with my questions They have a microwave in the lobby available 24/7 for guest use The only thing that could be improved would be a microwave in the guest room itself When we went to use it there were two other guests waiting on us We didn’t get to use the pool because it rained during our trip but it was very clean they provide plenty of towels in the pool area I would love to stay here again!

Donna Broussard

I enjoyed my stay The room was comfortable enough and the bed was really nice The staff was incredible

The area was very user friendly and I loved that I never had to get in my car for anything except work My only complaint is the elevator situation There was only one working elevator and I got stuck inside for a short time The staff responded promptly but I think the elevator acted up several times while I was there Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful I will stay here again on a lower floor

Elizabeth Wise

This hotel is nice, newer, and clean That is the best I can say about this hotel We stayed here several nights on a couple of occasions

They have a shuttle sitting outside, but it has not run once since we have been here We asked about the ability to get a ride and each time we were told it is not running today, so if that is a selling point I would recommend staying somewhere elseThe staff is nearly nonexistent most of the time when I go down to the lobby Normally the front desk staff is in the back or somewhere elseIf you have status with Marriott do not expect them to offer you any benefits or upgrades They would not Honor the guaranteed late checkout for Tutanium members, and we did not receive our breakfast vouchers this time and had someone argue with me last time I asked I did not bother with breakfast this morning It was not worth itOverall would not recommend this hotel It is nice and quiet with comfortable rooms as well as a workout room and indoor pool If that is all you are looking for this place may not be too bad for you

Due to a miscommunication, a hearing accessible room was booked instead of an ADA room which was needed Reeta was kind and understanding as she worked to find us an appropriate room She managed to fix everything so our room and stay was perfect

The ADA room we got was very large and very comfortable The roll in shower was wonderful Hotel is very clean and whenever we asked for anything, we got it right away The location is great as it is very near to the relatives we were visiting Staff was friendly and courteous Definitely would stay here again

Ty Mitchell

Our stays at this hotel have been great and very accommodating! Rooms always clean to our expectations and the housekeeping staff has always been kind and very accommodating to every single request! Rohit ( the hotel clerk at the front desk) is wonderful! He was accommodating to every single need my family and I had and his customer service skills are beyond exceptional! He remembers my family by name whenever we see him, his conversations and suggestions have been so helpful and sincere, and he always has a welcoming and compassionate personality that lights up a room! It’s the staff that makes a hotel good and he does an absolutely great job!

Roach in our room Bathroom door latch was broken & wouldn’t stay closed Requested new room but was told none were available and maybe maintenance could come in the morning

I was fine with that However, went back to the room to find a cockroach crawling around Absolutely unacceptable Checked out within an hour of being there Horrible experience

Rooms are large and spacious Having a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and half stove is wonderful Pillows and bed were marvelous

Only two issues: they seemed to have run out of towels on our second day during the stay, and there was a small bug on the counter in our room when we checked in Would have been 5 stars if not for those two issues

Marlena Omotayo

Room smelled like smoke and mildew I told the front desk and asked to be moved to another room, “we don’t have any more rooms Let me go to the room to check it out” he came back down and told me he sprayed the room

(It really didn’t help much) I found mold on the curtain above the a/c The bed headboard had greasy smudges maybe from someone head and hands in multiple places Same thing on the closet doors Mold in the shower I booked for 3 nights and no one came to clean my room Went down to the front desk to ask why, they told me on weekends they don’t clean rooms and if they do you have to ask and it will be a light dusting No one told me this on my first day and even so, that’s terrible service to not clean at least once No one answered the phone when i called to ask for towels I had to pick them up from downstairs and no one apologized I truly wish I would’ve stayed in a different hotel because I felt nasty being there Only thing that gave me relief was the breakfast

This is a wonderful hotel For the price you pay, you get a good location, clean rooms and it’s just what you need Features a 24/7 fitness center, a pool (pretty small so expect it to be big), and a little cafe (don’t plan on eating there, it’s not much from what i’ve seen

Maybe for a quick bite) Anyway, I’d stay here over the Hyatt Place next door, as we have stayed there before and it isn’t as clean Would recommend

Rashmika R

Not impressed with this Marriott in the area No change of linen or room service when asked, apparently they provide a full room service once every 7 days! So if you have a short stay forget about getting room service or change of towels The front desk is rude and does not entertain any calls, all they are taught to say is it’s their policy

I’d rather stay elsewhere, don’t stay at this hotel!

I want to start off my saying I chose Marriott since they are known for exceptional service and immaculate rooms, however this was not the case for Marriott at lake point I found roaches crawling on the walls so I started looking at the linens to check the cleanliness and conditions of the room, the mattress pads on both bed were ripped on both corners and there was hair The refrigerator only gets cold if u press the button and only stays on for 2 hours which spoiled all my food

The Wi-Fi which is an Amenity that they offer was out for most of my stay therefore I lost a days worth of work The water in the sink barley came out and there was no cold water I did make the front desk aware of the issues I was having, at the end of my stay I spoke with Daniel about my stay and he immediately invalidated all of my concerns and his explanation for the roaches crawling on the walls was “ the heat bring the roaches in” and he treated me as if I was lying He asked me “ what prompted you to look at the mattress pad?” And I told him since I seen roaches in my room I wanted to look at what I would be sleeping on He did not offer me any resolutions or compensation for my stay, for a general manager this is very poor costumer service and is unacceptable If you are in the area I DO NOT RECOMMEND you stay at this hotel because it is DISGUSTING and management will not be of any help

Great Hotel! The staff (Eugenia especially) is AWESOME!! My husband and I came in from out of town on April 29, 22 for our niece wedding We called the hotel and asked for early check in, they were short on housekeepers, but was able to grant our request Eugenia at the front desk is Amazing! She is professional, caring, understanding, patient, kind, and she remembers your name

She make the guess feels at home We enjoyed our stay and yes, we will be back!

Spent nearly a week here The service was amazing I swear, Drury Inn’s must do something different in their trainings because they always seem to out-shine my other hotel choices (Hilton/Marriott properties)

All of my stays at any given DI have been nothing short of stellar I wish I got paid for these types of reviewsbut I don’t If you’re in the area, book here

We stayed here for 2 nights this month for my bday getaway and had no complaints The front desk staff was very helpful and sweet Breakfast was provided and was good for a more simple menu

Our room had a king bed and was clean when we arrived I just wish I knew where they purchase the pillows from because they are so comfy 2nd time we stayed at a Drury Hotel and would recommend to anyone

We stayed here for the National LCMS Youth Gathering, booked our room weeks in advance and when we got there we had to wait 8 hours to get them when we should’ve got them at 3 Our group went into Elevator A, not an excessive amount of people, and we were all kids The elevator dropped a few feet, the doors slammed shut, and 2 guys in our group had to pry the door open

We called security 2 times and they never came so we had to take care of it ourselves It’s nice that it is connected to the mall, and the pool is really nice, but the couch in our room that was supposed to be a pullout wasn’t Bathrooms were really nice, but they never took out our overflowing trash We saw cockroaches there

1 star for the comfy bed and 1 star for the closeLocation to the mall Everything else was a nightmare The young gentleman that checked me in didn’t offer Any welcome gift for me being titanium, it was me and a friend carrying large heavy bags no one asked to help nor was there a luggage cart available

The elevators had everyone scrambling trying to get them figured out Not to mention I checked in under a 90 dollar rate next day I check out and charged 340 dollars, I won’t get into detail because it is too long but it started with the younger employee who checked me in I thought I had provided everything I was suppose to but I found out after checking out that I did not management refused to help me or honor the original rate That speaks volumes to me Such a small situation management could have helped me but they refused I would never stay here again

I enjoyed my stay The room was larger than I expected and had a sectional The staff was very nice and helpful

Bonus – they had two microwaves and plastic utensils available in the lobby which came in handy a couple of timesThe mall attached was very useful for meals and there is a CVS and Walgreens nearby for essentials Great location

My nights spent here was great The bed is nice and firm, the room I got was a little small though, next time I’ll upgrade to a larger room Everything was clean and the front desk was very helpful with anything I needed

The pool is excellent and clean, the breakfast had good coffee and always had fresh food It was awesome that this location was not a far drive to all the places we wanted to visit in Houston

The basic rooms are probably nice and worth the price The jacuzzi suite was very disappointing The jacuzzi “works” but not well brought to have any beneficial purposesBeds are comfortable, rooms were pretty clean

I don’t expect cleanliness perfecting these days with lack of staffing everywhereFront desk people were very friendly

Wesley Fields

The restaurant breakfasts were very good and the entire hotel staff was very friendly The accommodations were old and worn, complete with stains on the sheets, water stains on the pictures hanging in the room, electrical outlets in the bathroom that didn’t work, an air conditioner that knew nothing but “freeze out” or “burn up”, and walls so thin you could here the guests in the next room walk across their floor Would not recommend

I stayed here this past weekend and I have to say everything was just lovely I was staying with my daughter, her husband and baby so we reserved a 2 room suite, the hotel offered to let us use a pack and play free of charge while there so that my grandson could sleep The pack and play was new, like it had never been used which was wonderful

The staff was so welcoming and nice, the breakfast was delicious! I really enjoyed the quiches for breakfast! First time staying at a Residence Inn but it will not be my last! Thank you for a pleasurable stay!

Residence Inn have not changed one bit from the early 2000’s when I was traveling for work It’s 2022 a lot needs to changeHere is my list of concerns

1 The first room couch bed was broken and the room smelled like mildew, we requested a different room2 The second room smelled the same as the first one, so that tells me they don’t service each ac unit regularly and with covid still prevalent, it needs maintenanced at least every other week3 The rooms are outdated even though they added stainless steel appliances to have it appear updated4 The Marriott name when it comes to Residence Inn is being tarnished all because it appears that upper management doesn’t care about making sure the customers keep coming back to The Residence Inn5 The only reason I even stayed here is due to someone else paying for it The last time I stayed, my team had to be moved to another hotel6 I have a proposal for Marriott/Residence Innif you need assistance with rebranding I am more than willing to assistfor a fee7 Today, you need to be brought up to standards so you can stay in competition with the likes of Hilton and their brand

Matha Goram

The small team of dedicated and hardworking staff can only do so much when their hands are tiedThe age of the place can be deduced by the soiled carpets, chipped furniture and non-existent pest control servicesThe breakfast was a joke compounded by the failure to label the ingredients of the prepared food to assist those with allergy or dietary concerns

Wins the race for the worst Residence Inn experience in 35 years!
