Overall, this hotel is pretty nice It gets 4 stars from me, in comparison to the many hundreds of other hotels in this category that I’ve stayed at The room was very nice, and I especially like the desk setup and kitchenette

The worst thing about the hotel would definitely be the horrible bed and pillows (they need to upgrade to the current Hampton Inn standard), and the bathroom light Whoever designed these bathrooms is an idiot There is a blindingly bright light in the shower, and another one over the toiletbut at the sink?it’s so dim you can barely see yourself in the mirror Does this hotel really not know that the sink is where everyone needs the brightest light? Back on the positive side again, the fitness center is excellent, and the service here is fantastic I especially want to compliment the gentleman who works the kitchen and dining area He is awesome! He was extremely friendly and helpful, and I have honestly never had better service in a hotel like this ever

This hotel was very nice and well worth the extra price over some of the other hotels in the area The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and very helpful and sympathetic after my friends and I came here looking for a room after leaving our previously awful hotel down the road The staff here welcomed us and even offered us some snacks since we skipped the breakfast at our original hotel

It was an unexpected and extremely thoughtful gesture and we’ll be staying here every time we visit Muskogee in the future because of it Kudos to those staff members for turning our weekend around with just that simple and thoughtful gesture It really brightened all of our moods and set a great tone for the rest of our tripThe hotel lobby was modern and clean with unique decorations promoting things and events in the Muskogee area Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable There was a small kitchenette area with a nearly full sized refrigerator as well for drinks and food They also had an outdoor seating area with a gas firepit and it was wonderful to sit around that night with friends after the long day and talk and tell stories The pool area was nice and they even had a few gas grills that looked like they could be used by guests I may just do that the next time I stayI really look forward to my next stay when visiting again for Faire

This location was newer and well maintained and managed Some get more sketchy long term stay people that tend to trash them fast is why I also tend to usually avoid the hotels with kitchens and pets Got stuck by weather at a Hilton Garden Inn Suites with yucky dirty upholstered furniture, but big hot full breakfast buffet which varied each a

mBreakfast ratings for this Home2 based more on popularity of guy working it than good choices or variety Very limited for a higher end hotel I also like to make my own, and not have somebody else doing it and rushing me Felt more like they were having somebody policing and limiting what people were taking, than having him there to unnecessarily wait on people for a tiny breakfast selection?! Some lesser chains have better breakfasts, perhaps since no kitchens in rooms?I found it very strange since never had this experience at any other hotel breakfast bar I started looking at what they had, and he just took over and not let me just get what I wanted and go Nice funny guy though

Had a great time every time we have floated with Arrowhead! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests have a 5 star experience Check-in is quick and easy They really show how much they value the customer experience, and if there are ever any hiccups along the way, they go far above and beyond what I’ve seen any other business do to make sure they have a customer for life

Thank you, David, for taking care of us!!

We went down for the 4th of July and had a great time The staff were great You will want to bring pillows and top blanket, coffee if you want to make it in cabin, but they do have coffee at the front desk

Some firewood is needed if you plan to have fire We did have a microwave in cabin 2 w sink but no stove They do have cabins with stoves if you need one We did the A (short) float both 3rd & 4rth and both day were very organized and easy to follow We had a party of 10 w 2 rafts and with stopping a couple times to eat and cool off it took us 4-5 hrs Was just right with kiddos We will definitely be back

Jeff Simin

We stayed at “The Rock-a-way” cabin Pretty cool place other than not having water access and having lots of kids with us it was very inconvenient U would think for $800/nite u could get to the water from the cabin instead of having to use the public access next door

also what was up with all the lower kitchen cabinets in the kitchen being screwed shut? With it sleeping 35 and our group of 26, the space for everyone’s food was definitely needed

We had to make an impromptu stop after planning to actually be home that day We stayed in 8 different hotels over 9 nights This was the second best stay we had

Pool was a little cloudy and definitely had a lot of chloramines I know the tile around it probably wasn’t the staffs choice but it was definitely a bad idea Really really slick!

Sharon Carling

Because they were able to be accommodate me at the last minute Two things weren’t great – the guy who checked me in bragged about the hotel being “bug free!” Wrong – I encountered a big spider plus several other random insects in my room Also, the bathroom floor looked like it had blood stains on it and the paint was peeling from the bathroom ceiling

Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay

I am happy to have stayed here twice in the past week First time we stayed because it was in the area we needed to drive to, close to the highway and had a coffee shop nearby The second time (on our way home, a week later) was because of how great of a place it is

We chose to drive a little farther to get here because the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel, the rooms are clean and updated, and the staff is caring and accommodating Richard checked us in late in the night both times after making sure we still had a room when we got there They have great toiletries and a lobby that is comfortable and inviting, with books and coffee I will absolutely stay here again if I am in the area and need accommodations

Tanya Law

They missed the mark on making sure there was uniformity among the rooms for our huge party We were there for a memorial service They did let us use the conference room for our gatherings

If we needed something the staff provided Just wish the pool room wasn’t overwhelming with the smell of chlorine It was difficult to watch the kids play without your eyes burning

Noah Gordon

I don’t leave many of these reviews but this one was deserving I travel a lot and stay mostly in Holiday Inn hotels and I would put this in my bottom one or two that I have ever stayed in Classic Grodi hotel room

Hair on the sink and in the bath tub, beat up furniture, stains on the furniture and bed, dirty carpet… The list goes on The worst was when I took a swig of the mouthwash and it was mostly water After inspecting it I could tell that it had been opened and refilled The surprising thing is this is in the upper end of what holiday inns charge and it was the worst one Staff was friendly but accommodations were pretty bad

We stayed here for the weekend The staff was friendly at check-in, the staff and security were as well The grounds are big, clean with plenty of trash barrels throughout the property that are empty daily

There is plenty of spots for RVS and tent camping There are cabins and hotel style rooms which we stayed in the hotel but after the 1st night we were second guessing doing so, as people are very loud in their rooms especially the ones above you with their hard walking at all hours of the night and you can practically hear everything next to you but we managed Also the rooms don’t have any plugs except one in bathroom The beds we found rather hard for us The people around in other rooms where friendly but way too loud at night but this is to be expectedThis resort also has a bar & grill that serves food, cheap drinks with live music on weekends which is nice to listen tooThe rafting experience was fun but dangerous due to the current of the water and trees being down in the river If you or others are floating (6 or 12 mile) do let the staff know when checking in so you can get your time and your instructions We did the 12 mile as the water flowing really quickly and we had a dangerous situation happened that was preventable Again if you are not good on the water I don’t recommend floating if water is running fast, don’t be afraid to ask Also please be aware of the debris in the water such as trees, be mindful of others on the river and maintain a safe distance (a lot)Next time we come back we will definitely get us a cabin

Excellent staff!!! Very kind, courteous and accommodating people!!! Another place had told us earlier in the week “no reservations were needed regardless of weekend or weekday” Upon arrival@8am (after driving over 200miles) they told us they were completely booked We went to Diamondhead and they said they were booked as well but because we were turned away by the other place they would help us out and got us on the river right away!!! We had a blast with our kids!!! My wife and I said “from now on this is the ONLY place we’ll be coming back to!!!

Our family has been coming here for over 20 years and absolutely love it here!It is a great little resort site that has pretty much everything you much everything you needAnything else you might need is located nearbyThey have the perfect setup for floating the river and having a comfortable and fun place to rest when you get back to the campground

Christy McCreary

Very disorganized They grouped all floaters under/near a pavilion and called the name associated with each group That’s all well and good unless you have about 300 people grouped together waiting, and then it’s really hard to hear

A PA system would have helped We waited about an hour and a half before we were called to board the bus Once we got to the drop-off point, we had to wait almost another hour for our single raft One person was checking tickets and directing floaters to the assigned rafts Again, that’s all well and good unless you have 300 people being funneled to one person I understand that this is peak season, and you have to expect wait time, but I can think of several ways that better organizationscould have improved the process and gotten customers on the water faster I’d also like to add we did have reservations

Blake Smith

Where eagle does a terrific job helping you float the river The cabins are OK, but the air conditioning does not work so great The fixtures are quite dated and the ceiling fans rattle quite a bit

The ceiling fan in my room was shimmed up with up with folded Bud Light boxes Overall I would definitely recommend war eagle as the place to stay when you float
