We had a fantastic time at this hotel! I love that they have a parking garage connected to the hotel which makes you feel more safe as you come and go The rooms are very clean and smell great The staff are fantastic

The hotel is close enough to enjoy all that San Antonio has to offer without feeling like you are right in the middle of SA chaos! They have a weight room and a pool with two jacuzzi tubs If ever in the area again, we will definitely check this hotel out again!

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be disappointedEverything was clean Employees were all super nice Free breakfast and dinner buffet Nothing over the top, but good Would like a little bacon with my eggs instead of sausage patties, but you can’t win them all Nice garage parking and 3 free drinks per night

We needed a room quickly, as in a coupled of hours on Father’s Day due to an AC problem at home We were found a room that was ready immediately Chris greeted us as if we were family at the front desk

We were told that breakfast was available daily And that 5:30pm was kickback time with drink pass and dinner We never had to leave the property an asset due to the extreme heat The entire staff was helpful, friendly, caring, and made our stay very pleasant considering the reason for the stay We plan on joining the Drury Hotel program and using it in the future for family visitsThank you!

We used this hotel for our wedding room block and had our rehearsal dinner in the hotel itself! I can’t recommend it enough Their coordinator, Regina Alon-Alon worked with us to ensure every detail was perfect and was thoughtful and patient throughout the entire process She went out of her way to ensure everything was successful and we could not be more grateful for her

Alejandra Pérez

very bad stay, for 15 days They never cleaned our rooms unless we requested it and the only thing they did was change towels and make the bed, you could only request it every third day “COVID-19” when I arrived my bathroom had hair, the toilet was very dirty, I told the manager that he wanted a good cleaning and I showed him why and the only thing he answered was sure that those hairs are not yours?NO RECOMMENDED !!!!!

John

My second time staying at this hotel The staff is fantastic, with large rooms, reasonable prices, and a decent breakfast Every Wed they offer evening snacks and wine at no cost

The gym is very small The appliances are dated Both refrigerator and AC unit are loud The towels and pillows had exceeded the lifetime replacement Lots of improvements are required

Linda Duong

Not the worst or best – would definitely book again4/5 Breakfast: The usual sausage, egg, potatoes, waffle, cereal, muffin, and bagel5/5 AC: AC was put on blast at a low 68 throughout my stay

Kept me cold and comfortable in this TX summer4/5 Queen Bedroom: The clean room was slightly smaller than I imagined The bed was comfortable (leaned more soft than firm): the pillows were fluffy I wasn’t able to hear any of my neighbors There were plenty of towels The water was hot and had decent pressure There was a fully stocked kitchen (electric oven, fridge, microwave) with silverware in the cabinets The room thankfully didn’t wreak of smoke/weed However, the furniture is a bit outdated and the room was stuffy5/5 Customer Service: helpful and attentive4/5 Parking: Parking is free but it’s sort of limited We had to park on the side It seemed a bit sketchy but our car wasn’t broken into

Shena Carpenter

This has become me and husband favorite place to stay when in town There is room to park our 18 wheeler and right upon check-in the service is top of the line!!! Everything is very clean and nice All the staff was Amazing but Adam really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable!!! Adam is definitely a great asset to the company and a terrific person to be at the front desk

I give this place 10 STARS 🌟!!!

First time to stay at this hotel but definitely will not be our last We had an amazing time here the amenities were excellent Breakfast was delicious

The rooms were clean and spacious The staff was helpful and kind We were even fortunate enough to meet the owner of the hotel and he was very kind and respectable man Our children loved that there was board games available to them and a nice pool and grill area Overall was a wonderful experience

Austin Hanson

I had the opportunity to spend a work week here The staff we kind and courteous and welcomed me in every time we came inI particularly like the extended stay rooming

I did not have any dish ware with me and the fact they provided utensils and the sorts was greatThe bed and pillows were very comfy I slept like a rock every nightI sis not have any issues with this place at all Hopefully next time I’m back down, work will set me up in a room here again

Alison Jean

My husband and I stayed here for one night, and the experience was alright Check in took forever, as the computer system kept freezing The lady working the front desk was curt and almost rude, and I’m not sure if this is her normal state or if she was just having a really rough day due to the computer system issues

The room was nice enough- it was thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down, but definitely in need of deep cleaning There were stains on the chairs / couch, and mold in the grout of the shower (see picture of shower) The bed was comfortable and room was quietI gave 3 stars due to the uncomfortable check-in experience and the room needing to be updated / deep cleaned Otherwise, it was a good stay I don’t think I will be back though, since there are so many hotels available in the area

We were between two hotels in the area when planning our wedding, but we absolutely could not beat all the amenities that The Westin San Antonio North offered! Not to mention their ballroom is absolutely stunning! It was renovated in 2019 (and clearly didn’t get much use over the pandemic) so it’s practically brand new Ashley Wash was the best coordinator EVER! She was so communicative with us for the entire process and so helpful – all while managing the changing hotel ownership She provided contacts for vendors and coordinated with the vendors we brought in so well

She made us feel like family and made our reception so incredibly worry-free If I had to do it all over again (which I’m so glad I don’t), I would still have my wedding at The Westin SA North 🙂

Simukayi Nyakunika

This could be a really great hotel It has great views of the city and it is located right off of I-10 which is easy access to many parts of San Antonio However the hotel is very dated if you enjoy a popcorn ceiling this is a great hotel

The air conditioning filter was 2 months overdue from being changed and the room smelled like dust, you can see it coming through the vents For someone with allergies like myself it made it hard to sleep in this room I would not recommend anybody stay in this hotel until it has been renovated and brought into this decade

ji phan

Great hotel and great rooms Staff was friendly Upon check-in our party was told that it was free continental breakfast but when we came down the following morning they stated it was not free and that we would have to pay

We ended up going somewhere to eat It would have been nice if they told us that when we checked in and not when we were there trying to get breakfast

Great room Convenient location A typically positive Drury experience

My only complaint is on behalf of the staff member covering the dining area during breakfast It was very busy, and guests peppered her with requests Although she satisfied each request quickly and efficiently, she could have used a temporary assist from another lobby staff member Something to consider I also would have liked some fresh fruit

Candice C

This was a great hotel Upon check in Robert was very courteous and funny After a long day of flying I knocked out in that comfortable bed

My room was very spacious and clean Orginally I was back and forth about staying at the downtown location but I’m happy I chose here It was very quite and I felt very safe as a solo traveler The breakfast and kickback spread is a pretty cool perk I mean what other hotel is giving out free drinks?! (Tip your bartender) The shuttle to the airport was very fast and it’s a very quick trip It runs until 12am worked out great Overall, I had a wonderful experience I will always choose this location whenever staying in San Antonio!

Trevor Hancock

The room was a bit tight and compact for a suite but it was a good room The breakfast was fancy, and had multiple options but the waffle mix was not mixed together They had really good service though and the location was great because it was close to six flags

My biggest complaint is that the breakfast staff didn’t keep everything stocked up, things kept running out constantly, and you had to ask one of the staff for more

This Hampton was an okay stay overall Not too much stuck out in particular It does seem like the rooms are older overall – not so old that they need a complete overhaul, but familiar

Decent location by the highway, yet quiet We even had a 3rd floor room next to the elevator, but were not disturbed by any sound at all It is pet friendly and has your usual room amenities – fridge, TV, microwave and charging plugs Our room was clean Breakfast had a good selection of both hot/cold items, but I was unlucky enough to get an empty coffee carafe on the way out Lobby staff were friendly, and the lobby itself has modern decorWe did notice a few issues during our stay: the tub did not drain very quickly, and some of the moulding on the curtains was torn (see picture) Nothing earth-shatteringly bad, just stuff that could be easily improved or fixedOverall a solid stay that could be improved

Trish Winkler

10/10 would recommend this hotel The staff is wonderful The hotel is in a quiet area close to dining and entertainment

The breakfast has great variety and is tasty The breakfast staff on the weekends is phenomenal You’ll want to stay just to be greeted by the warmest, sweetest lady ever! One caveat, the beds are super firmWe enjoyed our stay and have stayed at this location several times now We will be back!

Sno Thiemann

Miss Amy and Little Miss Pretty Face Katelyn made my stay awesome! Both girls went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and safe Any needs or wasn’t were met I can’t say enough about the beautiful Katelyn- she was happy to greet me every single day/time

My four day stay couldn’t be topped!!! Outstanding customer service from Katelyn Absolutely 5 stars because of her and Miss Amy Definitely stay here again!!!!

Not a great experience here One of the elevators was broken, which was a huge frustration Room was very dated – scratched/dented furniture and old carpet

Mattress wasn’t awful, but not super comfortable either Breakfast was not included, it was $10 per person (we didn’t try it) The front desk staff was polite, not rude but not friendly either Also, the TV remote wasn’t in the room, so we had to go down to the front desk to get it! Not a big deal, but it added to my frustration with my stayPositives were the easy parking and hot water The water pressure was awful, but there was plenty of hot water Could have been worse I guess!I would suggest looking elsewhere for a room, there are 4-5 other hotels nearby that would probably be better at a comparable price

krisha marker

Ashley Villarreal was wonderful with all of her help in setting up our sales team meeting She was the best We did not have too many problems with our stay, but we did have a vehicle broken into to and a laptop stolen

There was a younger couple there that had their vehicle stolen It is a super nice area, but I guess it also encourages thieves to roam the area as well Be diligent of your surroundings and park in areas you see camera detection Our vehicle and the vehicle stolen were both parked in the very front of the hotel, under lights Leave nothing of any value in your vehicles

Tammy Schwermer

I wish I would have read the reviews before I chose this hotel I had stayed at the Garden Inn in Denver and it was amazing, so I assumed this would be too, but it wasn’t The front desk was not rude, not friendly, they were just there to do a job

I had sent a request that morning to see if they had a box fan, and was told they did I honestly thought it would be in my room when I arrived, but the guy at the front desk had to find it, then I took it up with my suitcase which made for a cumbersome trip The water in the shower was not hot, it was barely warm the bathroom sink didn’t know if it wanted to be hot or cold Housekeeping was once every 3 days, which I found odd No big deal, I don’t need towels everyday or my bed made, but trash would have been nice I booked my room thru a 3rd party thru my company and the rate said breakfast was included However, I paid for it on my receipt The bed was not very comfortable, and the blankets were very thin The AC worked great! I could hear my neighbors late at night and that was with the fan on If I make it to San Antonio again, I will not choose this hotel

Great hotel! I’ve stayed here twice, and I love it The suites are clean, spacious, pretty and have everything you need: full kitchen, bathroom, living area, and the most comfortable beds you could ever imagine! The staff is kind and helpful and the location is good, surrounded by restaurants and shops I love that there’s noise insulation in the rooms, so you can barely hear people in adjacent rooms, this is so important to me

Between that and the amazing beds, you’ll sleep like a baby! This is by far one of my favorite hotels ever, and it truly feels like a home away from home Thank you

Erika Contreras

First time to stay here and our experience was great Friendly service upon arrival Rooms were very spacious, comfortable beds, liked idea a sofa bed was included in room so were able to sleep even more comfortable a group of 5

Also they’re equipped with an actual medium sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher (didn’t use tho) Location here has great access to many restaurants, stores, everything you may need is close by Won’t doubt staying here again

Mark Tamulonis

All in all a great place to stay if you need to feel like your not in a hotel room We are new to the area and needed a temp place to live waiting on a house It was just what we needed

Large rooms which were clean, in room microwave and large fridge Sadly they did not have a cook top for my family but they do have grills out back to use Plus they have a decent breakfast bar every morning Staff were friendly and responsive You do have to request full service if you want your room cleaned They do thier best not to disturb the guests Would definitely stay here again

The gentleman at the front desk the night of March 13 was lovely We were dragging coming in at 1130pm and he got us all set and promptly checked in He was very kind The lady doing breakfast the next morning was alone but did a great job keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked

The room was clean and spacious The beds were very comfortable! We had a great night of sleep Highly recommend

Julie Garza

We booked a room online because our air conditioning failed in the middle of a heatwave When we arrived, we were told that even though we had prepaid for the room we couldn’t have the room unless we paid for an additional night We were exhausted, and hot and needed to put the baby to bed, and so we just paid it

The room was very worn Chairs worn down to the stuffing, enamel worn off of the tub There was no hot water for my shower We let the baby sleep dirtyThe next morning we woke and started getting dressed We realized that the carpet was so filthy that it was turning the bottoms of our feet/socks black Not mildly dirty, but black like it had never been cleaned We all put our shoes on and kept the baby in the strollerWe were able to rush the air conditioner repair in our home, and went home while the house cooled At least we can let the baby run around hereWe got a partial refund from the online booking and got a call from some unidentified employee asking why we got refunded They thought we were still in the room even though we checked outButthe ac worked

I stayed at Comfort Suites at 1754 N Loop 1604 East San Antonio When I pulled out the sofa bed the mattress has stains on it looking like dryed BLOOD and I guess, maybe the guests tried to clean it but when blood dries and you try to clean it, it’s like a brownish stain My grandson’s look at me in shock

The wall had a blood stain on it And their was mold in the window seal I immediately contacted the front desk they told me there was nowhere else to put me because the hotel was full A gentleman brought me up a rollaway bed for my grandson’s to sleep on I had to clean it off it was Dusty very disappointed as I was checking out on March 17th I stopped by the front desk to showed the manager the pictures again, he told me that he would look into it but housekeeping so far nothing else has been done I’ve called Choice Hotel’s to file a complaint and they told me that they are going to investigate it I’m expecting some good results from this because that was definitely unnecessary I wish I can post the pictures on this review website

Deborah Estay DeLaney

Really nice place the only thing I didn’t like was the ceiling in the bathroom looked like there was mold on it Also I was there with cash in hand to pay for room, and give a deposit for extras That wasn’t good enough

They still wanted to use my card for extras I told him I didn’t have $100 in the account and if they hold that much it would put me in the Red So they put a hold on the $50 I had in the account, I think it was unnecessary

Eric Marsh

We stayed here due to the convenient location to Fiesta Texas and being right off I10 We got the last room with a king bed The AC unit could never seem to get our room cooled completely down below 78, despite having set it to 74, which was really annoying

The shower had one of those benches and had the shower head and a hand hose The hand hose never worked, thoughThe coffee maker was super sketchy to use The plug looked like somebody had ripped the ground prong from the plug and the other prongs were bent to all hellOur room was on the second floor and the ice maker for that floor was out With having only ONE working elevator during our stay, I didn’t feel like waiting for it to go to another floor for ice, eitherIn addition to that, the room door was so poorly sealed that light from the halls bled into our room, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep Not to mention the constant doors opening and closing loudly in the hall Unfortunately, not the same pleasant experience I had when visiting for PAX South in 2016 Unfortunately, does not look like it has been very well maintained

Kevin our bar tender was awesome, we enjoyed a couple hours speaking with him and made our evening funThey have a yogurt machine that serves you 7 bucks a serving comes with toppings

Vanilla or chocolate and swirl Kinda pricey for the size but tastes goodFront desk was very presentable and professional Good smiles all aroundThank you

Eric was best part about the stay He was warm and friendly Very helpful

I had a room with a balcony It had a table but no chairs I thought it would be an easy fix I called once and was told that “every room with a balcony doesn’t come with chairs” I called another day… I got the same response of no chairs It was very disturbing situation and lack of care to be helpful, it was like SOL

Erik D

Had my hopes up, but room is disgusting Unknown who’s hair is on the bed, but I’d like to know what the sticky stuff is on the wall and what the heck is staining the ceiling Location is fantastic, front staff was extremely pleasant

Good if you’re looking to save a few bucks on a cheap room but have $200 that you want to throw away too

I would actually recommend this hotelThe only reason I won’t go so far as to rate it a 5 is the property conditionThere are a few things that need some replacing or addressing

Such as new curtains, properly securing the AC window unit and replacing the doors that had been damagedWith that said, I still stand by my rating The staff were professional AND very friendly I felt very welcomed They were also very quick to accommodate any issues that was addressedBecause the staff was so friendly and accommodating; I’m inclined to believe the other rooms are probably in better condition than the one we had

Will definitely return! Hotel from the outside looked kind of old but inside it was so nice Rooms were very clean Sheets smelled extremely clean as well! Front desk staff was very welcoming

Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the shower freaked me out, it squeaked so much & the floor moved around I was afraid the shower go fall The breakfast had bagels out to toast but no cream cheese available We stayed 2 nights & we didn’t get room service after the first night so we had to ask for fresh towels But I will definitely stay again Great area

Staff was amazing and very professional There is a few maintenance/upkeep things that need addressed such as better AC, curtains, and the most recent elevator inspection inside the elevator but the overall stay has been better than expected The jacuzzi in the room is a great addition

This will be our go to hotel every time we visit and will be recommending to other friends & family The location is perfect as well!

The pool was nice The spa seemed nice even though I didn’t visit on this trip I like the fact the are allot of food options close by including several within a couple minutes of walking The staff was very nice as well The room was comfy and cozy The bathroom was nicely laid out and designed

Nice resort Stayed for 3 nights The rooms were clean but got a little muggy a few times

One faucet plug wouldn’t come up so that meant one sink couldn’t be used The amenities are nice – the pools, outdoor and indoor, are great The gym is nice as well The grounds around the resort are quiet and very nice to walk Overall a pleasant experience and trip

For the price, I expected better The hotel is nice, but the room left a lot to desire They weren’t cleaning rooms because of “COVID” but nobody on the hotel staff wore a mask? If you don’t want to pay the staff to be there or are trying to pinch pennies, at least say it or come up with a better excuse

As for the room, it smelled damp and the headboard had a water stain They obviously had a water intrusion issues that wasn’t handled properly The rest of the room get dated and sticky Definitely not the resort feel or worth the price Best bet is to go to the place at the top of the hill It is a resort

I was truly impressed with our stay and some of the staff at this hotel The room was very clean and the house keeping was excellent The pools temperature was freezing

I asked Maleek at the front desk to turn the heat up in the pool area and told him that we selected that specific hotel so our son could swim indoors He was so friendly and accommodating! He called their partner hotel (in the same parking lot) and told them we would be coming to swim When we got to the other hotel, we were greeted with smiles and towels from the gentlemen working the front desk Our son was able to swim all week and it was only a few extra footsteps away We were there for work and every morning whoever was working the front desk greeted us with smiles and some would say “Have a great day” which I thought was a nice touch My only complaint was that the rooms don’t have microwaves and a few of the staff members and one bartender was rude but 95% of the staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating That is hard to find these days The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for getting anywhere you needed to go in San Antonio in under 20 minutes I didn’t have high expectations and this hotel really impressed me for a hotel in that price range

I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many hotels throughout my life I can honestly say this is by far the best hotel I have been to The staff is awesome! They always go above and beyond to make sure I have a pleasant stay

Especially Karena, the GM Her and her team are amazing Alexis at the front desk always makes me feel welcomed as soon as a walk through the door Yadira the lead over Housekeeping does a fantastic job making sure rooms are clean and ready at check in Even if you arrive early sometimes The entire staff is 5-Star! My home away from home! Thank you all!

Nice lobby and really friendly staff which stood out Gym and pool seemed nice and updated Location was decent and was walking distance to a few restaurants

Close to the airportRooms need to be updated Yellowed faceplates on the light switches Dark and poor lighting Stained carpet That being said, the bed and bathroom were clean I still felt comfortable and clean but definitely a bit more dated than other Courtyards It did have a microwave and fridge which was a plus

The rooms are very clean and safe The common areas are also very clean, the hall floors look like they have been spit shined Rooms are well equipped for short and medium stays

The facility is very well run, good management/ leadership, every person I have encountered at the front desk/maid service has been polite and helpful Highly recommend Also great place to stay if you are a dog owner, multiple areas to walk your dog and a pet clean up station literally every 20 yards surrounding the building

After reading some great reviews, I checked in to stay for a few weeks

that ended up being eight months! A GREAT place to live my new home away from homeOne of the first things you will notice is that this extended stay hotel is NOT clean it is IMMACULATE! Outside of a hospital, I’ve never seen such a spotless building, both inside and out The housekeeping is done in your room every two weeks, and it is EXCELLENT! There is also a dumpster behind the building where you can dump any extra trash you have to get rid ofAll tenants will be given an electronic “key” This will open your door as well as entrance and exit doors around the facility Your door and most doors in the building will automatically lock The exception is the fire escape doors by the stairs, which are unlocked by lawThe utilities WORK! The AC/Heating units work, nice hot water all the time, electricity never gets shut off, (unless there’s a city-wide power outage) The building is relatively new, built in 2019 Oh, and take my word, you will be hard pressed to find ANY insects in this building!!They welcome pets, but be prepared to clean up after them there are plenty of pet stations outside to do this I am not a smoker, but one thing to keep in mind this is a NON-SMOKING facility!! You can smoke outside (there are plenty of smoke stations), but it is prohibited inside the building In fact, you can even be fined for doing so FAIR WARNING!The management and staff do a wonderful job with customers during checking in or out, and they are great in dealing with any issues their tenants may have Also note that someone at the front desk can be contacted 24 hours a day if there is an emergency or other issue! If you end up staying over six months or so, make sure you are paying on time as much as possible you will be rewarded with great deals!!!Here is a shout out to all the OUTSTANDING folks who make this hotel THE BEST!!MANAGEMENT: Cindy Hernandez (General Manager)Amanda Morris (Assistant General Manager)FRONT DESK: NoelChrisJetaimePatriciaHOUSEKEEPING: AdrianaElenaCynthiaMAINTENANCE: AldoTreyI cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful experience at WoodSpring Suites!
