Relatively new, well-maintained, spotlessly clean hotel I am very particular about cleanliness and the room met my expectations Of the three front desk people we encountered during our stay, all were extremely friendly and accommodating

We were also happy to see that full breakfasts were back After check-in, it’s the first time I have ever received a text from a hotel inquiring as to whether or not everything was satisfactory in the room

A R

Really enjoyed my peaceful stay here The 2 ladies at the front desk, when I checked in, went beyond the usual to make me feel welcome The room was spacious, the view was good (considering the location), it was quiet, the bed, pillows and comforters were soft and comfy, breakfast was good

I did not make use of the pool or gym Ample parking space as well

WOW ! This place was a wonderful place Great staff, HUGE room Well, Let me explain that I am handicapped ( in a wheelchair on occasions) This room was HUGE!Even the door to the rest room was a sliding door, which made getting in and out a breeze

The TV again huge ( for a hotel room)Had a wonderful brunch great towels, coffee maker and coffee and even an Iron and board (if needed)close to shopping, food, and the highway system And never heard any of the traffic from I-55Again the room was huge You could of had 10 people in that room and still been comfortable Again it was a handicapped roomI just wish that my wife had told me that they had a pool down the hallThis will be my “Go To” hotel when in Illinois

This is our go to for a quick getaway with my grandsons They enjoy the pool which is always spotless and fully stocked with towels We all enjoy the breakfast

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable The re- model gives an upscale trendy vibe I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here And short drive to shopping , lunch at Cheesecake Factory is a plus! Great restaurants in area also Chicago is not too far but we’ve always enjoyed the surrounding area so we’ve not gone into the city See you again about January when we can enjoy the pool and watch the snow outside Thanks for making my family feel like we were Welcomed Home!!

Laura D

I am so glad to have found this hotel for my visits to this area The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are great! Front desk staff is always friendly and so efficient! Kudos to Greg for being out there in the freezing snow to make sure we had a clear and safe path Thank you for housekeeping for accommodating me while I had my zoom meetings; it was appreciated that you modified the vacuuming schedule so it wasn’t heard in my background

I especially appreciate Dalia, who manages the wonderful breakfast! The food is fresh, the hot items are a nice change from other hotel breakfast offerings and I appreciate the variety of items for folks watching their diet (however; best raspberry danish ever! Where is that bakery?) As I stayed at this hotel several times during the pandemic, I was especially impressed at how well Dalia managed hotel guests who were not masking near the food area, as mandated by state law and was required by the hotel at that time In the sweetest way possible, she informed various guests that masks were required and then she led them to where masks were being provided for those who’d forgotten theirs Hand sanitizers were all over the hotel which made me think this hotel was taking safety seriouslyOne last thing to noteI’ve noticed that the hotel staff all seem to get along really well and it is nice to see them smiling and greeting each other If staff gets along like that they must enjoy working there, which makes my stays there so much more pleasant

Catherine Bradley

This hotel is the best in the area The staff are truly professionals The hotel is very clean and quiet

The breakfast is outstanding and always fresh The breakfast staff are amazing I have stayed at many hotels in the area and nothing compares I would also like to say if not a Wyndham member sign up They have a go fast option with points wherein you can greatly reduce your prices on future stays

It wasn’t excellent! It was beyond expectations!!I’ll definitely go back when I’m in town to visit The Managers name I can’t remember but she was Amazing It was around Easter of 2022

See I was visiting my daughter, and I was coming from Kentucky It was still early in the day but I was tired from driving So I called the hotel to make a reservation and not only was I accommodated I was able to check in early and was approved a discount! That alone speaks volumes The room was clean and sanitized The bed which was a King sized envelopes you especially with the fluffy pillows! I wish I had more thumbs so I can turn them all up! Again you’ll always have my business!

Ashley Shegog

The reviews for this hotel are FAKE! The room was not thoroughly cleaned There were coins on the floor so it couldn’t have been vacuumed, stains on the walls and curtains, grime on the shower walls, and the bathroom tile was disgusting There was cereal in the drawers

There was a foul smell as soon as we walked in that we attributed to the water in the bathroom The toilet did not flush right and it backed up after about 3 flushes – when we called down they said not to flush toilet tissue down the toilet because it was not biodegradable There was no one on duty until 11pm to help with the plumbing, my husband requested a plunger and the front desk told him no So we waited, no one ever called or came In the morning my husband went to the desk in person and they said maintenance was already gone but they did give him a plunger at this point Any area outside of the main lobby had a strange/dirty stench The walls are also so thin you could hear the neighbors coughing like they were in the same room I’ve stayed in better motels This location hasn’t been updated in years You can plumbing damage on the walls Comfort Inn should be ashamed of itself We were in town for my father in laws funeral and because of booking through bookingcom, we could not get our money refunded/afford to go elsewhere I sprayed Lysol consistently, purchased travel pillows from the store, and made the best of an already stressful situation

EL FRAZO

I had the best experience at this hotel more than any other First I was greeted by the friendly front desk staff as soon as I walked in Demetria from house keeping went above and beyond making sure all of my family’s needs were met

Rooms were clean and comfortable Rooms and hall ways were very quiet Thank you Demetria for the amazing hotel experience

Have never been Room was very nice and clean Nicely decorated

Shower was very nice We asked for an extra flat sheet that was never brought to us Our room had service rooms or something above They were very loud above us in the morning, and it actually woke us up when we were looking forward to sleeping in They kept dropping stuff above us and were very loud Our room was in front of the building near the busy street which was very loud They need to invest in better windows and sound proofing

Spicy Zing

Aura has always been a great spot to stay You can rent for a couple hours or for a night (must rsvp for overnight stays) I like that there’s different rooms to choose from and their reasonably priced

This is a Lovers Hotel, definitely meant for couples It’s a great place to take your significant other for a nice relaxing night together Though you must have a membership to even rent these rooms (M: $50, For a year)

J.O.B Telinfo

Aura really needs to upgrade all rooms especially Tryst room I got my package as advertised However, the room was not sound proof, no soap or conditioner in the shower dispenser, blood on the remote control which is a major negative!!!! Holes in the walls and etc You guys better do something because things like that will cause Aura at this location to be shutdown

I will not return to this hell and I want my refund for the blood on the remote control

My family and I was here for one week and our room was clean smells clean and the clerks was very nice to us, we didn’t stay the whole two weeks like I thought because our house was ready to come back home and I got my refund back from those unused days so yes I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay longer, but just follow the rules and clean your room cuz they only come twice a week to clean as it said in the order

Stephanie Baweja (Stephistopheles)

Shady advertising

I reserved a two queen bed room, and was given a room with one queen and one sleeper sofa When asked, the guy at the desk said “The pull out bed is a queen” Didn’t even have sheets, a comforter, or a pillow for the sofa How is that considered another bed?Hallways smell strongly of Marijuana, room smells like it had just been hot boxed and they tried to cover the smell with off brand Febreze I’m truly not hard go please, but this hotel definitely misrepresented what we would be getting Dishonest, at best”Had the option to cancel for free,” but would have still been charged for the room Thankfully I only booked one night

Theresa Cattouse Zollicoffer

There’s no one in the office until 7:00 am in the morning so if you need something overnight it’s going to have to call the toll-free number that’s located downstairs in the lobby

They do offer laundry service for the gas there is no continental breakfast which sucks but the comfort is good the kitchen that is nice the location is surrounded by restaurants gas stations in speedy convenience needs I was there with bae so nothing in my eyes wasn’t to badI like it

Not super impressed I was put in a handicapped room for the first night which the hot water in the shower barely got warm, not the room I reserved but it was the only room left Came back later in the evening to find ants everywhere

Bathroom, sink, climbing up the walls, on the nightstand and in the bed They put me in another room which was much better!!! Hot water worked, no ants and oh, don’t get the room that is next to the pool Pool is open 24hrs and screaming kids were in it really late and super early But they did have a nice gym and breakfast!

Jennifer D

This place was LOUD Super clean But could hear the other guests walking down the hallway and taking showers in other rooms

The fan in the heater was loud and squeaky all night Someone came down the hall at 1030 pm knocking on doors and running And the toilet seat was brokenThe main lobby is very nice Breakfast looked okayish Although when I went to get coffee there was noneOverall the place is clean and in a great location But after no sleep probably wouldn’t come backAnd the pool is also closed

Nicholas Lewandowski

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations! Patrick at the front desk was really fantastic and had the most upbeat personality Some of the best customer service I’ve encountered in quite some time Staci was terrific at breakfast, always attentive and checked back often to make sure everything was perfect

Rooms were quite clean, the only slight issue was that the hot water took about 5-10 minutes to make it to my shower/sink Other than that, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Rudy Wanek

Check in was easy, the room seemed nice and the lobby/facilities were nice When we checked in at the front desk we were told there is a free continental breakfast in the morning, or you can pay $1195 to order Menu Items

In the morning we were told in order to eat ANY breakfast we needed to pay the $1195, so we left for breakfast Later that night went to take a shower and there was no hot water in our room at all Called the front desk to no answer Waited until the morning and the hot water was back on The basic essentials of hotels were not provided in this stay other than a place to sleep

Lexi Harrell

Do not expect to take a hot shower This hotel doesn’t have any hot water We tried in the evening around 3- no hot water

Called front desk whom said they would send someone out Got back to hotel around midnight to yet again no hot water to shower in No hot water again in the morning before we left When we checked out I again informed of my issue with hot water and was offered a free snack for my inconvenience (I don’t want a free soda, I wanted a hot shower) Other wise the hotel was clean and staff was friendly Breakfast was good and hot But not having hot water to take a shower is a huge downfall for me Wouldn’t stay again because of this

Carrie at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful when we arrived well before our check-in time needing to drop off our luggage Our room was not available yet, and she couldn’t hold our bags, so she assisted us in upgrading to a room that was available, paid for early arrival, and we were able to leave our bags in the room She was so friendly and helpful, and we were grateful

The hotel has some minor renovations going on currently, but it hasn’t impacted the comfort of our stay in the least There’s a Cracker Barrel within walking distance – that was a pleasant surprise I highly recommend this place if you are at Tinley Park for a show and don’t want to go all the way back to the city

Cylia Reyes

Very disappointed The area was nice Places to eat and shop really close

But that’s about it Room was ok Sofa bed mattress super uncomfortable Bathroom was clean But sheets on bed some had small mysterious stains Pool super small and super cold Pool was dirty couldn’t last much in it Couldn’t sleep do to loud neighbors Called front desk never answered Before checking in I wanted to pay for late check out Something told me to ask again the next morning and nothing was done, Couldn’t imagine the embarrassment of being knocked on at 11 instead of 12 At the end I ended up leaving early Not worth what I payed

Very clean and modern rooms Decent pillows The beds weren’t the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a hotel but I never really take that into consideration for reviews as everyone has different firmness preferences

Decent sized rooms with a good sized bathroom Nice large TV in our room too Convenient location is always great too I was definitely surprised when we entered and saw how nice it was inside I was expecting much less

Stephanie Leon

So when we got to the hotel we found some nice prices Excellent customer service and great people The rooms were beautiful and the scenery was amazing

However not everything was peaches and cream My tv wasn’t working and apparently maintenance was gone for the day so I was left without anything to do The stay was pretty boring and to top it all the restaurant closed at 9pm on a Saturday so no room service whatsoever The hotel is beautiful but the people weren’t very accommodating

Tasha Sanchez

Stayed for a family members wedding and as always have last min guest The same week as a back street boys concert and majority of the hotels were booked Shawn was amazing to help us get an additional room for another person coming to the wedding

She made the booking seemles and Quick I hope management sees this and understand how great she is for their establishment I work in the retail business and know how it feels to hear doing an amazing job Negative is always posted and we need more positive feed back from consumers this time in life I was blessed to have Shawn cross my path

Do not believe the photos I’m a photographer and know the tricks and either the photos are old or they did their job well This is a run down hotel

Pool and hot tub were not operational None of the outdoor key fobs worked to get you into the hotel, very frustrating! Carpets and wall coverings are dated Funky smell throughout Furniture is cheap and chairs are wobbly when you sit in them I gave it two stars because the staff was friendly(always apologetic for all the issues) and it included the typical standard breakfast but was still too expensive $150 with taxes and fees and that was the special rate via several apps Did not know that until we arrived and had already pd that the pool was not in service, we had two dissapointed teenagers We booked via an app vs directly via the hotel, it did state on their website that the pool was out of order on their website, but we probably would not have swam in it based on how the rest of the hotel looked

Maha Mikhail

People are fantastic, very kind & try to do anything to help you! However, the place is old, not clean, some rooms smell & ants were present! The nightstand drawer fell off & had to get the front desk lady to help me! Again I would give 5/5 to the person but 2/5 at most to the place! Had to leave earlier & book another hotel in the area & pay for 2 rooms for the same day to get out! They have to clean it & do some serious renovation!

Kelly O’Leary

The pool was freezing My family got out after 10 min and if we weren’t so desperate to try and swim, we wouldn’t have even gone it What is the point of having a pool if you can’t keep it slightly warm

Also the bedding left a lot to be desired There was only a sheet and flimsy top decorative piece – no blankets or comforterIt was also kind of loud We were hearing people walking by our room multiple time after midnight It was so disruptive we left at 230 am

Crowne Plaza is an IHG hotel, which is why I stay there However, I while I honor the chain, I question the “pay for breakfast” option – the quality and selection of which is comparable to any other free continental at most other hotels The bar is adequately stocked – but not incredible, and the rooms are about par for their price

What saves this review from being 3 stars is Heather at the front desk She is kind and intelligent, super responsive and worthy of at least a raise and bonus Where the hotel itself was lackluster, she provided the shine and then more

Andreas Scholz

Hearing protection required! This hotel is located directly at the Interstate with paper thin walls and windows This was a hell of a night

To be fair, they have rooms facing the rear but said they were all sold outAt checkin we were told about the hotel breakfast The next morning we were asked to pay for it even though it was never mentioned before In addition the breakfast is average at mostThis was the one and only time I stayed there Only giving it 2 stars because the rooms were clean and the bed was decent

Jacob Payne

Nick and Kelley made my business trip much better Nick was always on top of it at the front desk and took care of everything I needed even though he was definitely doing double shifts and had every reason to not help me out, even when working on his birthday! After a long days work Kelley was a welcome sight at the bar/restaurant and took care of me and my coworkers and went above and beyond what I expected from this hotel These two along with the friendly front of house staff and shuttle drivers made my trip much more pleasant

Michael and the kitchen and event staff at the Marriott Burr Ridge were exceptionally helpful and accommodating in hosting our group at their outdoor patio following a memorial service for a family member We arrived to find the table and appetizers set and ready Our dinner was great, with very polite and professional service

They truly went above and beyond to help us out, even preparing off menu dishes for our kidsThe hotel itself was clean and well updated with spacious rooms I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area and booking family gatherings here as well

Emmanuel Gabriel Scott

My wife and I traveled to Chicago for the 4th of July weekend and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Marriott location Our experience was truly amazing The rooms were beautiful and the service was simply brilliant

We especially enjoyed the customer service of a young gentleman by the name of Justin He was very friendly and most helpful

Jaquay Bails

The room was very nice and MOST of the staff was polite, But

I was harassed about a form for a friends and family rate By Regina that I myself sent and the employee sent from our personal emails She was saying she didn’t receive it so I sent it right then and there just for her to say that’s not the right form then she said it was but it wasn’t filled out correctly so I filled it out just how she wanted we didn’t get this resolved until 5pm the next day and she says “anybody can book under this rate I was trying to make sure it wasn’t fake “ So imagine how that made me feel she wanted me to pay full price so bad she kept threatening to change the rate over something I Already sent I Had gotten frustrated and said” I will leave”Thats the only thing she heard she kept asking when I was leaving They gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience, butgave us the wrong time She overcharged my card $87 I Had 2 Unauthorized transactions so I asked was I charged a holding fee First She says no, so I asked how much the room was , but it wasn’t adding up to what they charged my card Then she said I was charged a holding feeThen I asked about the $47 unauthorized transaction when you add things to your room they take it out of your holding fee Not Charge you $47 for a $20 purchase she said “when I Add things to my room they automatically over charge my card” Which is bs because I work for a hotel and once I said that and she seen I caught on to her game she finally decided to be nice I know how the system works She was rude for no reason I never disrespected her I talked to her politely and gave her what she needed Mind you it’s my birthday I will never stay here again and if you a person of COLOR I’d Advise to to look at some other cities , other than Burr Ridge

The living area in our suite had some pretty outdated couches and the leather on the chairs has started to disintegrateFront desk staff is awesome and very helpfulThe cleaning staff seems to lack attention to detail Found some old wrappers behind the dresser and under the bedBreakfast is okay Coffee is good and there’s a waffle maker Some expired yogurt in the mini-fridge and some of the hardboiled eggs looked as if they were beginning to turnLocation is awesome, as it’s very close to several food places Price was a bit much for what we got

This place is pretty nice You’re near food places The rooms are as clean as they can be

The beds are honestly comfortable TV works You have to be 21 to reserve a room here Service is great Vending machines for drinks and ice of course and ace of breakfast Can’t tell if they’re good but it seems like a normal breakfast you would get anywhere or make yourself

This hotel has gone way down We called reservations to ensure adjoining rooms The representative called the hotel to make sure they had adjoining rooms and was told yes

I booked 3 rooms I got to the hotel, the clerk said no adjoining rooms but 2 could be next door and 1 on another floor Having stayed at this hotel before I was expecting the same type of rooms and cleaniness as before However, when I walked in all 3 rooms I was terribly disappointed (102, 104, 204) 2 small pillows on each bed and the rooms were not clean No outlets in any of the rooms worked Also, room 204 we had to fix the toilet The bolts were completely loose Had they not been in there the seat would have fallen off No way it could have been cleaned and not notice And I’ve attached a picture of the headboard and how dirty it was The carpet was old and dirty and the sheets had stains on them I went back to the front and the clerk showed me a suite that was updated and clean but it did not have enough beds so I was unable to switch to that room I would not recommend this hotel at all

The hotel was nice, clean and has a well lit parking area As a female traveling alone, that is very important There were restaurants nearby that were open late

The staff were friendly and I love the digital check in and out The bed was comfortable The room was really nice and modernized If I had to pick one “bad” thing, this location does not give out free water to Hilton Honors members like several of the other Hampton hotels But overall, a very nice stay Would recommend and I plan to come back

Accept for few miniature things, we had an amazing stay The majority of staff was so welcoming, paying attention to our needs

our room was in excellent condition Breakfast was absolutely amazing and showed they really cared Hotel was in great condition overall and it was quite place and secluded for a perfect privacy They did not have a jacuzzi in the pool area which was a bummer but we still really enjoyed it

I’m really not sure how to rate this hotel The room was very small and the beds were not easily accessible to the top bunk The TV was hard to see bc of the bed poles

The one night worker, Joe was not very helpful at first, but got better, I guess Sherry however, was AMAZING There were ants all over our room when we got back Saturday afternoon They had no spray When we used a wash cloth to try to wipe up the ants the wash cloth was filthy dirty like it hadn’t been mopped before we were there We had no garbage bags in the garbages Finally after telling them the ants were in the beds and one bit my mom Sherry went and bought ant spray and found an out of order room for us to use for the night It was even smaller than the other one And obviously didn’t have everything since it was out of order, but I’m thankful she tried She took off half of each nights stay for the issues we experienced The pool is an bad accident waiting to happen The water doesn’t drain around the pool and there are puddles Kids were falling and getting hurt I reported it and they said they knew that it drains slowly and they have someone that will be working on it or is working on it The food was okay, but things were not refilled for the morning I was there right when it opened and I had to ask for them to refill the sugars For a Hilton I expected better
