Showed up after an event let out of Ford Field at 9:30 ish, took us about an hour to get out of down town and to this hotel They gave us two key cards, we opened the room and found a family in the room and it looked like they had been living there for a while Came down to the front desk and the night guy said something like, “they gave your room away

” Asked if we could do a king bed for the four of us We said absolutely not Next room he went and checked first and there were people in that room too Finally gave us a key to room 210 and no one was in the room, but the TV did not work and there were scary water stains on the ceiling They moved us across the hall to 211 The room was a handicap accessible room, so there was a walk in shower with no lip or edge which flooded the bathroom every time you used it Also there were broken tiles and I am sure there is a huge water stain on the ceiling of the room belowBreakfast was awesome, but the police came for a group of young ladies and remained until the ladies finished their foodabout an hourOverall I would not recommend the placewalls were thin and people were running up and down the halls at around 2:30 amIt was clean in the rooms – the shared areas needed a good vacuuming and elevators were full of trash

Haven’t stayed here in years but thought we’d give it a try again Front desk was pleasant and got us going to our room quickly Room furniture is looking well worn, same for bathroom as there is mildew on tile grout and tub looks like Breaking Bad filmed there

Also had to fix a broken curtain for privacy Next morning there were beer cans in the hallway and wife complained that breakfast was not good Wife went down to check the fitness room and pool and was back quickly stating both areas were filthy Came back later that evening and trash cans were overflowing and our floor sounded like party central Best part was, we got to our room and neither of our key cards would unlock our door, so back down to the front desk to get them replaced Next morning, we check the breakfast again and just about everything is gone and they say they are cooking more Just left and got breakfast elsewhere

Exceptional! I adore this Hilton Spotless rooms, pool, common areas, They offer free coffee and other drinks in the lobby And a free breakfast in the morning that is an actual breakfastI Have stayed here half a dozen times in the last 4 months

It is literally a 1/2 hour drive from where I need to be but I enjoy this hotel so much it is worth itI get the king one bedroom suite so that the bedroom can be separated from the little living area and kitchen it is a very nice hotel I would highly recommend it! the staff are exceptional and it is always clean clean clean! They have accommodated me with so many things whether it be early check in or late check out, picking my room or floor, so many little thingsthey have a little pantry so that if you wanna get a snack but don’t want to have to leave the hotel you can charge it to your room It is Everything I have come to expect from the Hilton and you would not be disappointed If you need a room with a kitchenThey also allow you to bring pets, just fyi!

The bad news? It’s dirty, old, and smelly (cigarettes in the room, musty in the hall) The good news? They are starting renovations in a few months Very much in need of a refresh

I hope they get their cleaning crew act up to snuff Great location, I would consider staying again after renovations because the location is great The staff at the front desk is really great

I booked a room on Expedia and asked for two portable cribs in the booking because we were traveling with toddler twins When we arrived, we were not provided with the cribs My husband asked for them and they alleged that they attempted to contact us in the room- but surprise!! The phone in our room didn’t work

In full disclosure, my husband did say the wrong room number, but I guess I assumed they know who is staying in what room I pointed out that I requested the cribs in my booking and they claimed they could not see it because I booked with Expedia Of course So after another request, we finally get the cribs We move furniture to make room for the cribs and found old flaming hot Cheetos, some nasty sticky substance, and a myriad of crumbs I complained about that and was told that housekeeping was gone and that they would put in a request This was Saturday evening Housekeeping didn’t come until some time Monday and that was only because they sent someone to fix the broken phone I told them about so they could call me and ask if I was checking out early the next day ???? How bout you check in to this room with a vacuum cleaner and some cleaning supplies?? I reminded the person harassing us to leave the early that we complained about the dirty room and his response was, “aren’t you leaving tomorrow?” As if we should let the room stay dirty because it’s only one more day They sent housekeeping and all they did was make the beds This was a bad experience I could deal with the outdated rooms, but at least clean them This place is overpriced for the service they give

This hotel has a great location right off the highway and within a large amount of food options If you check in online beforehand you can just walk in and get the room key from the front desk which is super convenient They have your average breakfast foods for holiday inn locations

Their pancake maker was down one day and then the next it undercooked then so that was a little disappointing Besides that the room was nice and clean and it the beds were very nice I could hear some noise coming from somewhere else but couldn’t figure out if it was another room or just some noise from the ac

While this states this is a renovated hotel, it looks like only the lobby has been renovated So many issues, but I’ll start from the lobby upBreakfast- there are plenty of options offered but the hot food was not good

Bacon was paper thin and as my kids say “weird”Pool- needs shocker badly! Within 5 minutes my eye were on fire and I wasn’t even in the pool Towels were provided but the pile in the corner just kept growing without any housekeepingHall/Pool Bathrooms- mens bathroom would not lock which I would to be a safety concern for my childRoom- upon walking in, it wasn’t updated but was ok Very dark but random lighting provided Chunks taken out of the wall around the wall unit Bathroom is very outdated and dingy You have to hold the shower pull for at least 30-60 seconds to get the shower started The faucet moved around and was not attached Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was provided in the showerHousekeeping- dirty sock left in the bottom of the wardrobe Washcloth with small hair on it to the point my young daughter wouldn’t use a washcloth in the shower Stains on the comforter which was just repulsiveStaff was overwhelmed but niceCould not and would not recommend a stay hereCalled customer support and they are making a case with the inn to let them know but no offer of a refund and told me I wouldn’t get one in less direct words Offered me “points” on my membership

It was ok for the two nights we were in this area Had a cleaning issue the day of our check-in Spoke with the manager on duty the next morning who listened to my concern and realized I wasn’t making anything up after showing him pictures of the condition I spoke about

Residence Inn used to be one of my go to places to stay but things are not the same Hence our choosing other hotels more often Hoping one day to be pleasantly surprised

1st room smelled awful and had to change rooms Went half asleep to grabbing coffee this morning to have Anna the breakfast attendant ask me if I was alright Her tone was so off I asked why and she said I didn’t look alright

Way to start the day of a guests vacation The rooms were breaking apart from the wear and tear The 1st bathroom was missing the seal partially and literally pieces of the floor and frame were breaking up with holesGrateful to be moved to the 2nd room Annoying to let management know what happened with Sara the attendant and he said no she just doesn’t understand English She spoke to me in English telling me I do not look good yet for some reason she doesn’t understand English and I am wrongMy boyfriend spoke to her in Spanish and she told him in English exactly where the garbage was The front desk just tried to make things better with lies obviously and made it worse

We got behind in our travels on our way home from florida and had to unexpectedly stay the night here They were very accommodating finding us a room so late at night The rooms are very very clean

When comparing to the hotel we stayed in the night before, you could tell the cleaning staff is very thorough The rooms are large with tall ceilings They have fridge and microwave and coffee maker Adjustable shower head Great for sore necks after a day of driving Lots of contractors vehicles in the parking lot I knew this was a good sign Companies wont put their employees in a bad hotel And construction workers go to bed early and usually leave at daybreak It was a very restful night Complimentary breakfast was okay but the waffle maker was down The pool looked really nice but we weren’t able to stay and enjoy it Keep up the great work!

I have had a nightmare experience with this hotel from start to finish My booking for my wedding weekend was mishandled and neither the manager, Nita, nor Choice Hotels wants to take responsibility- just passing the buck back to the customer Their customer service is trash and after hours on the phone I am back at square one

Now i’m stuck with charges for THEIR mistakes!! Dont waste your money- there’s a brand new Hilton across the street
