Fantastic, smaller inn! Staff was friendly and attentive, there’s a seasonal salt water pool, a gazebo with picnic tables and grill, and a fountain where you can refill your water bottles with filtered water Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and included a kitchenette, which was great for saving some money on meals! The location is good: close to restaurants, stores, and the uptown, but set back from the road, so it’s quiet Will definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here briefly while visiting Jerome, we had the best room ever, it was super quiet and very chill We want the same room again, we loved the room away from everything We were close to food and gas, and not too close to hear traffic it was a very nice area off the main drag

Very clean and had everything even a refrigerator for our waters The bed was super comfortable And the AC works great!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

This was a great place to stay It was relaxing, and clean It was perfect for my family

We stayed in the apartment Plenty of space for the five of us Newly updated Enjoyed the saltwater pool Used the grill under the gazebo to cook dinner They had our pack and play already in the room when we checked in Best of all, they knew me by name Personal touch

Rooms are old but fine Internet is horrible If you’re checking email you probably wont notice, but as soon as you try to stream or game you’ll definitely notice

Just horrible internet They’re right next to a 5g tower but obviously not connected to it 20 sec for a google responseIts basically ‘old people internet’ It will work fine for the noob stuff old people use, but not for anything real Felt like i was back in 2004 again After every click you just go make coffee or go to the bathroom since its going to take forever to respond

I was greeted by a roach in my room Stayed 2 nights Requested a 3rd

Slept well until my wake-up call about my rate nearly doubling After some multiple trips to the front desk and reading online about the “low price guarantee”, I found they would not match their own price on their own website However, they were willing to allow me to re-book online, move all my stuff to a different room, and then clean 2 rooms instead of one, all for the original rate Unbelievable

We are experienced regular travelers and don’t usually find fault with our lodgings, especially in smaller towns, we just don’t expect too much However, that being said

,WHAT A DUMP!! (and I don’t use that term lightly) Staying at this motel was a thoroughly unpleasant experience The water in the swimming pool was a bilious green!!! The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken so there was no roll in the dispenser There was only about 6″ of toilet paper left on the roll left on the floor with no backup roll I had to go to the staff to request toilet paper The towel rack in the bathroom was missing completely though the brackets were still in the wall The floor moulding in the bathroom was torn out and the grout in the tiles was black with dirt! There was a crack in the sink and the faucets were so worn and old there was no finish left on them To top everything off we were blasted out of bed at 7:00 AM by a work crew tearing up the parking lot outside our windows Our stay at this motel was a thoroughly bad experience! By the way, if you’re expecting breakfast as is advertised, be aware Oatmeal (no other options) and juice is NOT a breakfast meal You’d be better off and more comfortable buying a tent or sleeping in your car

This is a old dirty super 8 that has tears in the carpet, scratches on the paint on the walls just a trashy hotel I booked here 2 weeks ago for a room with a recliner for my wife’s bad back Was booked into a room with a recliner

We get here and no recliner Desk stated that just because we reserved a room with a recliner doesn’t mean you will get one I would advise everyone stay clear of this dump of a hotel I will let Wyndham know about the hotel they are backing… Not a happy stay😕 Stay clear of this location……

We stayed 2 nights and will never, ever go back We thought we would give it a try from having read the reviews We will return to the Tavern Hotel the next time we visit Old Town Cottonwood

It is much cleaner with real amenities and professional staff Our first assigned “large” room was upstairs We found a dark, dangerous stairway with steep step risers and narrow step treads There was no way we could carry our luggage up those awkward steps with a dingy light at the top The immature desk person rudely announced that we had taken the last room After describing the problem with the stairway and that I nor my husband were going up and down those steps for 2 days, she “found” us a smaller room for the same price next to the “coffee room” Instead of Starbucks in our room, as we had anticipated, we made it single cup style in the small coffee room, euphemistically described as the “Guest Services Room” We had several problems that needed attending to, but the “supervisor” could never be found or simply didn’t respond We asked for a discount at the end of our stay, but received no consideration This place is overpriced and amenities exaggerated I have read the highly rated reviews in disbelief, and wonder if they were staying at the same place

Cozy type inn Smaller room and bathroomCourtyard does have a echo effect as all rooms face toward it

May not be quiet enough for some, esp on weekendsComfy beds, large TV, and updated bathroomsStarbucks machine was ideal in the AM, self serveWalkable to main street wineries, probably the best part of this place!

Pepe Dawgg

Conveniently located in old town near all the shops, wineries, and restaurantsThe rooms are clean and fresh and renovated without losing their charmThe receptionist was very friendly and kinda weird, but in a good way

The beds were freshly made and everything in the room was super cleanTheir little coffee station next to the ice machine is the amenity i didnt know i needed

This motel was dirty, unkempt, noisy, and unfriendly The beds were not comfortable at all The pillows were $1 pillows from Walmart

This motel is overpriced I have no clue how they get decent reviews I can’t believe how nasty I felt after one short night thereI have to say it was dirty again Broken tv Moldy dirty shower I’d like to get my money back and never stay there again Zero stars if possible Gross

Michael Allen

I bet didn’t appear to have a very stable frame, and it sunk in the middle so that my wife and I basically rolled into the same little pit together from time to time It’s clean, the floors are nice, the layout itself is spacious for a studio There were no noise issues with any guests

All the lights work Microwave and mini fridge worked as they should

ThatDamPlatypus

First off even for Memorial weekend this place was way to spendy for the quality of room 260$ for a single night when the shower water was barely hot, the bed was hard and I woke up in so much pain that driving home was difficult The AC worked to cool the room only if the curtains are open cause if they are closed the air gets trapped by them

The other guests were smoking outside our room and we could smell it coming in to our room Honestly the quality of the bed a lone would be what I would expect in a 55 dollar a night room

Family of four Got a suite, king and queen beds, two rooms Clean and comfortable

Positives: Great staff including Doug on evening shift The morning manager also super helpful Excellent breakfast Cook staff engaging and very helpful, especially with one gluten free family member The suite room was perfect for family of fourNegatives: Pool and hot tub both closed (off season?) But after two days of hiking Grand Canyon, wish we could have known Concrete construction work stared 7:45 Monday morning All good, we needed to get going Would rather wake up to something other than a hammer drill! Exterior entrancesThe positives far outweighed any negatives Great spot to stay if hiking the Sedona areaI also recommend the Mexican restaurant right out the front of the hotel

lisa johnson

The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig to make snacks and drinks The breakfasts had a great variety to choose from and start the day right The location was nearby trails and shopping, we found all we needed without going out of our way

The pool and hot tub were ready to go, but we did not try them out We didn’t use the laundry either Overall, it was convenient and the amenities Great, definitely a 3 star hotel

Bree Nacole

I went out to celebrate Mother’s Day and when I had returned we had seen our door was wide open I was furious and went straight to the office to complain When I asked to see the camera footage I was told they couldn’t because the manager wasn’t there but they would check the key log

The lady at the desk then apologized then offered 20% off I then went back to my room to celebrate Mother’s Day After about 30 minutes she called and asked if I had noticed if anything was taken When I said no she started to say that the only key that accessed my room was mine So they could no longer offer that discount but a smaller one I personally do not care about the price, I booked it expecting to pay But I also expected a safe room that wouldn’t be entered when I was not there Needless to say I will not be coming back hereAnd if you plan to stay here make sure you take everything valuable with you

We added a stop in Cottonwood at end of our vacation and stayed at the Tavern Hotel on a whim We are glad that we did It exceeded expectations

The front desk staff couldn’t have been nicer The rooms blew us away with classy updates and comfortable bed The hotel is midst of Main St so easy walk to wine tastings and restaurants No hesitancy in recommending it

This is a very nice hotel in old town The office people are very friendly and helpful The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable

We ate at the Tavern Grill and the food was very good and the service also The only downside was the Grill is a very noisy place Breakfast is right across the street from the grill, and has good food as well
