I absolutely loved staying here! Friendly and awesome staff, laundry was free with your stay (just had to find a good time to do it) had a little stove top with appliances & great location Only thing I wished they would do better in is cleaning the rooms They don’t seem to clean the showers or around the toilet

My first night there, my sheets were very wrinkly and visibly dirty, as if they just remade the bed The lady at the front desk came and brought me clean sheets and helped me put them on Other than that, I really liked this hotel

Peter

I am frustrated to be giving this hotel only two stars It would have gotten four or five because of the fact it is conveniently located near stores and restaurants The hotel also appeared clean, had nice amenities and the staff was pleasant

However, I encountered roaches in the bathroom I know that thiscan happen anywhere So I told the staff after my first night there about the issue and asked them to spray I returned for night two to additional living roaches in the bathroom It had clearly not been sprayed No apology and no effort to deal with the issue

I haven’t stayed at a Microtel in years and I was surprised at the upgrading in the roomthe decor were quite contemporary

compact yet all the essentials you need for a stay! I expected a lite continental breakfast but this Microtel offered eggs Cereal Muffins and Belgium waffles the buffet included fresh fruit as well I will stay there again when I have business in Greenville Helpful staff Gym and pool off site but offered

Nicholas Fasciano

Pay the little bit extra to go to a different place The sheets were gross and had stains and bugs on them (not bed bugs) There was also pee on the seat of the bathroom when we got there as well as clothes left behind by a prior resident

It also reaked of garbage outside They don’t have on call cleaning staff so any issues that they didn’t clean you’ll have to do The front desk staff was nice though

We were staying at the Best Western Plus hotel for a week (June 11 – 17) We felt cozy & comfortable there Everything was pleasant, neat & clean! And on top of that, the people who work in this hotel were very nice

We had to leave urgently, family emergency under stress and I didn’t realize that I left all my clothes in a room there They saved it and it was returned to CT! I’m very thankful!!! Very happy with our stay in this hotel and definitely recommend it to everyone!

Jane Doe

After spending a night at a run down motel coming here was like winning the lottery The employees are all so nice and friendly The rooms are a good size and every clean

Beds are so comfortable and I absolutely love the pillows I’m here for a family emergency(a death in the family) The staff is comforting They have a nice breakfast set up (although I can’t eat since I’m so upset) and coffee is fresh 24/7 Bathrooms have a nice shower There is a microwave, fridge and a good size TV in the rooms They also have a gym and outdoor pool I recommend this hotel highly for anyone who needs a good nights rest

Tami Tambalamb

We booked a room July 7, 2021 and now I’m thoroughly reading all low reviews on every place we book We checked in close to midnight after being on the road for 7 hours There was purple tape or signage on the door knob of the room that said something along the lines of “clean and checked for safety”… we walked in and immediately checked everything and was absolutely DISGUSTED

We lifted the comforter off both beds to find dirt and hairs on the inside side of comforter and sheets! The phone was so dusty it was scary to look at Hair was all over the bathroom sink, toilet and shower The toilet had yellow caked crustiness all over it Mold, mildew… We were told by the attendant at the front desk that he could not refund us for our stay but came down to leave 10 minutes after walking into the room Days later the manager refunded us This type of dirty is unacceptable especially during those covid days in 2021… it shocks me that this hotel doesn’t have a lower rating We will never stay here again and worry for those that do – they don’t clean and management thinks the problem is fixed with a refund… I had photos and videos to email the manager They need better management and staff

Our stay was amazing from start to finish!I called the receptionist before check in to let her (Sharon) know that we will be late checking in She said no problem maam, I will be here when you and your husband arrivesLove-loved her and she was amazing when I got there too

I had a mask on and she could see that I was a little uncomfortable She told me what, when and how things work at that hotel and she was professional the entire timeThis hotel and the room was, clean My husband and I normally stay at the high end hotels down town… Let me stop you now and say this You save money by staying here and you will receive the best service here too! I can go on and on but I will just saySharon was the best of the best and we would stay again at this modern, well design and clean hotelThank you

Cambria’s Accommodations are so wonderful and comfortable Great place to stay Teresa and Bruce “the dynamic duo” took great care of me

I needed a shuttle back to hotel, and they were extremely busy They both kept me updated on when I could expect to be picked up multiple times You don’t get that at most hotels I have had plenty tell me they can’t tell me where the shuttle driver is or when I could be helped Beautiful and sincere Customer Service!

Riss B.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the rooms are so clean and spacious and modern Love the bluetooth mirror and really appreciate all the USB ports around the room Customer service at the front desk was so fantastic

I had to extend my stay unexpectedly and Sharon went out of her way to help me and to make sure she put me in a room with everything I’d need for the longer stay I would more than happily stay here again

Nice location on the Reedy River with several dining and bar options in the immediate area Clients that were in town that we were hosting enjoyed themselves and had a nice stayNo housekeeping or acknowledgment of being a Hilton Diamond Member though

Valet attendants were the most friendly of the bunch The guy at the front desk upon check in acted like he had no clue why we were there standing in front of himWe had to prompt him to act (do his job) to get us checked in properly Poor and not a good feeling right out of the shoot

Adam Killian

The hotel is your classic Hampton The room was setup in a bizarre manor The TV was on the side wall so if you wanted to watch it, it was literally to the left of the bed

Made it uncomfortable at best Bathroom was spacious with a great shower The surroundings made the hotel worth it with walking trail and plenty of restaurants to choose from Well worth the stay except for that room setup

Colin Dietrich

Location, location, location! It tough to beat this location in Downtown Greenville We parked our car for the weekend when we arrived and never drove it again until we left Too much to do within walking distance including restaurants, coffee, ice cream, entertainment, and more

The city ran parking garage below the hotel and street parking were both full when we arrived (around 8pm) so we ended up using valet parking Valet was $20 while the garage is $7 Valet was seamless with no issues! We would stay here again if coming to Greenville Highly recommend!

If I could give NO STARS, I would Our experience was terrible, we booked this hotel for our wedding night and I don’t even know where to start Our “suite” was DIRTY (sticky floors, pee stains on toilet, no toiletries)

We got locked out of our room on our wedding night We waiting over an hour for the one guy at the front desk to open our door, he couldn’t fixed our lock We had to switch rooms I finally changed out of my wedding dress They had no compassion or sense of urgency doing all of this The rooms of our block were also dirty, our family friends had broken AC units, no toiletries as well Their charging process was also sketchy They didn’t compensate us for anything We were actually super nice with them after everything that happened to us Nothing was said or done to accommodate us We are really disappointed because this is a Holiday Inn and had high hopes We will not recommend this hotel to anyone If you are willing to drive a little more, stay in Greenville

Brunden Long

At checkin the front desk manager was very nice Allowing me to check in prior to check in time The gentleman working overnight was slightly creepy and made me feel like I was bothering him when trying to purchase a beverage

The room was not clean at all There was a dirty napkin on the floor, crumbs on the lounge chair The bathroom shower was dirty, there was hair on the bathroom floor The soap dispenser in the shower was empty There was a stain on the towel used for the bathroom floor

5 stars solely for the fact the shower head was above the 6ft level so I didn’t need to contort myself to wash my hair Room was clean The sliding door for the bathroom is cool, but not very private as it sits like an inch off the wall and the one bed has a clear view through the gap to the full length mirror that reflects the rest of the bathroom

But that’s generally not a big deal as you’ll know who you’re staying with

Luke Skywalker

I enjoyed my stay The room was very clean The bed was comfortable

It is a basic hotel room and it served its purpose If you need a place to sleep and grab a shower this is it The price was excellent My only suggestion would be better directions on how to use the coffee machine in the room If I ever find myself in Greenville again I will book another stay here

Todd H Ohlmann

What a great little hotel It looks like the entire place was completely rehabbed and reopened The did an amazing job with the room we were in

The only negative of our overnight stay was the breakfast Apparently their kitchen and serving equipment was on backorder so they provided a bagged breakfast to go juice, pastry, yogurt, apple, and granola bar Once the breakfast area is open and ready to serve this hotel will be great in every aspect

Nice hotel with average cleaning going on twice a day Hallways need a good vacuum Had a male housekeeper in the hall playing his music loudly on his phone speaker

Was told by front desk staff that it’s acceptable and they can do it Kinda defeats the “do not disturb” signs Managers special is on Wednesdays only with Salad, a soup and cookies Good parking Kitchen lady is very pleasant

Thomas Baur

Don’t stay there!!! Either the staff is completely clueless or they are all crooks I have booked one night with my Hilton Honors points last Saturday After check-in I discovered a hold on my credit card of $ 153

I called the Diamond customer service of Hilton Honors and they talked to the hotel After that I was advised to talk to manager the other morning about how that can be resolved Shortly after that I discovered another hold on cc of $103 In the morning I talked to the Assistant Manager Mike and he told me that they are working on it and it will be solved soon So checked out and hoped for the best As nothing had happened till the day before yesterday I call customer service again They brought me directly in touch with a lady from the hotel, told the story one more time and she promised me to solve it asapNow 2 days later still nothing is solved Never will go back there and thinking of switching to the Marriott group

omelette du fromage

Staff was excellent, friendly greeting at check in, helpful suggestion about where to park based on where my room wasThe room itself was a great layout and size However, furniture a bit worn and stained

Housekeeping could be more thoroughLocation-close to everything on woodruff road, but also right on I385, so significant highway noiseBreakfast was promising from the smell of things but sadly a bit cold (eggs, sausage, potatoes) 4 days in a row

Very clean, staff was friendly and helpful Breakfast was delicious on the Friday morning we were there over the weekend it was “okay” it was edible but didn’t want to go back for seconds We didn’t use the pool but when we walked around it was clean and nice looking

They allowed pets and honestly if there was any there I couldn’t hear them! I would stay there again and would happily recommend this place to my family/friends!

Nicole Steele

We only stayed for one night, but the experience couldn’t have been better Check-in was super easy, and the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful Our room was very clean and extremely comfortable

The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and was, by far, the best part of the stay, which should be an indicator of how amazing it was, because the entire visit was spectacular If I ever need to get a hotel room in Greenville again, I’m definitely staying here!

Rachel Shomate

Stayed in the hotel two nights Each day we opened our door to go into the hall it smelled like marajuana Didn’t matter what time the smell remained very strong throughout the day

Workers in the lobby were not friendly and were generally rude including the hotel manager When asked about the smell shoulders were shrugged and they said it wasn’t their problem Definitely not a hotel you want your family staying in

The TV did not have a brightness control, the picture was very dark and hard to see The shower did not have very much pressure, plus the drain was extremely slow in draining the tub I was using digital access to our room but my wife prefers the to have a key card, I tried a couple times to get the key card and the digital access to work but evidently it takes one or the other but you can’t use both

The front desk personnel and the person maintaining the breakfast area were outstanding, courteous and professional

Myriah Longhenry

Stayed here for a good two weeks while moving to the area and it was very comfortable They have free washers and dryers on site for guests to use and an open gym Only thing I might fined wrong is that they give each room a small induction hot Plate to use with a very small pan that only works with that pan and nothing else, so if you need to cook anything outside of a microwave in your room bring your own griddle or burner

Cole Evans

When the airline cancelled my flight with less than two hours to boarding and no way to get home until tomorrow, I ended up getting a room here overnight The front desk manager, Jocie, “the guy with the bow tie,” was incredibly sweet and accommodating and went above and beyond to make me feel at home and taken care of, despite being displaced by the airline for the night He called me by name every time he saw me, and hooked me up with free waters for my room, and laundry detergent to wash clothes so I would have something to wear

It wasn’t just me he treated like that, every person I saw him interact with was taken great care of! I wish every hotel treated their guests like this!

*Edit* I probably should have waited until the end to comment – we were not notified that the outdoor pool was closed down this weekend – so that was a bummer :(Karen was absolutely wonderful on the phone & in person Nice, clean hotel Modern design & the king bed, sofa bed room

Everything we need in our room and it has a nice, efficient design Highly recommend this hotel Located by the mall & tons of restaurants

The thing that amazed me most about this hotel was the cleanliness Without thinking, I walked around our room in new white socks for quite a while the night we arrived I was shocked to see they were not dirty when I took them off

The room, bathroom, lobby and common areas were all spotless There was nothing that we saw that even had a speck of dustThe breakfast buffet was delicious There was a hot section with an egg (omelette or scrambled), meat (bacon or sausage), and a bread each day (potatoes or biscuits – biscuits had a gravy option) each day we were there The toppings for grits/oatmeal were numerous There were always two types of waffles with over a dozen toppings There was also fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, bread and pastries to round out the menuThe staff was always friendly and greeted us when we passed They were ready to help with anything we needed each day It was obvious that they took pride in their jobs

Esther Devine-Huff

We were traveling for the first time with our pet and didn’t know what to expect The hotel staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and all supportive of him being a guest as well Perfect location, safe, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff

Best Hampton we’ve ever stayed in We will absolutely be back the next time we are in the area

Scott Carroll

I stayed 4 nights I requested my room be cleaned every day My room was cleaned only once, even after I continually asked that it be cleaned every day

I was not brought towels I had to go down every night and get towels One morning the hot water did not work This hotel is the loudest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in You can hear traffic on the street You can hear people in the rooms beside you The staff was pleasant However, I asked to speak to the manger every day I was there and called every day for a week to speak to the manager Finally 1 week later the general manager called me back I told her if I wanted to stay in a dirty room, I would have stayed with my mother in law After telling her of the aforementioned comments and that I was dissatisfied with my stay and asked about the “100% satisfaction guarantee” She told me I should have checked out and stayed with my mother in law! I am a “Gold Hilton’s member” and have been a member for 15 years and have never asked about the 100% satisfaction guarantee, but apparently it is worthless at this hotel

The towels in this hotel were so fluffy and nice This detail was important to me because I think out of all the hotels I’ve ever stayed I These were some of the best towels I’ve ever used at a hotel

The room was a little dated but clean the shower could have use some fresh caulk (but SC is pretty wet so I know the struggle) I still felt comfortable taking a bath The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good They did not have waffles but did have Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches Also it was nice and quiet for a Saturday night

Angel West (Country Sweet)

I would love to give more stars! Amazing place to stay to for a day or longer 7 story hotel Great prices on rooms

I stayed in a Deluxe King room for under $100 USD They have a friendly staff Wonderful full breakfast is served daily The pool was relaxingSo book your stay now and see what else they have to offer

Scott Lycan

Clean room, recently remodeled, pet friendly without any pet smells or stainsStaffing issues evident; 8:30 and no breakfast set out other than half dozen sad yogurts & a few oatmeal packs No coffee

Lots of guests still looking to eat No staff at front desk on phones or to check folks out for 15 minutes One man trying to do the job of three, and he definitely was not a “front of house” guyWe got keys to a room already occupied House computer system was downThe bed was clean and a good sleep; housekeeping was well done, but all other services were lackingWe won’t be back

We used the shuttle service to pick us up at GSP and take us to this hotel The driver was very courteous and arrived at the promised time We received a wonderful welcome from Miss Betty on the front desk who followed up with a call to us in our room to make sure we were happy with our room and that we had everything we needed (something which is very rare these days but makes you feel like a valued guest)

The room was clean and very comfortable We had a great night’s sleep Breakfast was nice with a good selection of cereals, hot food, waffles etc The breakfast staff member was very helpful tooAll in all a very good experience

The hotel was about what you’d expect for the price and location, but it didn’t offer any extraordinary benefit or surprise us with hospitality The rooms were clean and well-furnished The front desk had razor and shaving cream for forgotten toiletries, and the weekend breakfast had perfect hours

Many hotels provide a a breakfast at such inconvenient times, especially if you’re on vacation, but keeping the breakfast bar open until 10 was immensely helpful for a family with kids, even if the food ran low by 9 (and some utensils/syrup were unstocked) The swimming pool here was a little chilly for adults who have to be with their little ones in the water without moving too much, but the kids enjoyed it The pool started at 3 feet by the stairs and went to 45 feet, so it was a good depth for elementary kids; but there was no spa or sauna or any other amenities The pool is small enough that 2-3 families would make it ‘full’ All in all, the stay was alright We’d go back again just because it was acceptable in all respects

The hotel was in a very busy area but the upside is that there were plenty of dining and shopping options near the hotel The staff were very kind and friendly! The hotel is well kept and my stay was enjoyable There are no breakfast offering so keep that in mind

The rooms have everything thing you’ll need except dishwashers This includes two burners, coffee pots, a full sized fridge and microwave If you choose a room with two beds you will not receive a recliner One bed includes a recliner The rooms are not spacious enough for two recliners But the rooms and beds are comfortable Yes I would stay here again

Awful Just awful Had to stay in the area for a convention

Was referred to this hotel by a friend Clearly they had a better experience Check-in was a disaster Pre-purchased the “breakfast” Receptionist argues with me that I had not but still could Requested that ice be started in my room ahead of my arrival No ice Machine was off Went down and showed receptionist that I had receipt for “breakfast” She just stared and said I could pull something from the sundry shop next door This was not only not what I paid for but when I went to look at the store there was no breakfast foods to choose from Just walked away Wanted a cup of coffee in my room so I started to pull it all together Gave me a coffee pot with coffee but no cups, silverware in fact absolutely NO dishes at all in this “extended stay” room Read elsewhere it was because they don’t do dishes or whatever So I guess we don’t clean the coffee pot then? Fan rattled in room 3 paper towels on the roll Threadbare towels No hygiene products provided But the best part? A $150 deposit for the stay!!!! Why? Why?! WHY????? Hotel literally offered NOTHING that requires a deposit Will NEVER stay again and will only ever laugh at the idea that this place calls itself a hotel

Upon entering our first room the bed was clearly not made Looked like someone laid on it We did get a new room and everything was fine with that

The thing that I find weird is that upon requesting new towels and wash cloths you have to bring the Old ones down to the front desk I find that very odd as a customer to be walking down the halls with your dirty towels and wash cloths just to get new ones
