I cannot express how disappointed I am in my stay I would not have paid $50 for my stay and I paid 5 times that The room was fine at best but nothing like I expected, no hot tub and a pool that would have barely held 5 children, and the breakfast was so pathetic we just went out to eat

Plus we had to switch rooms after our ac would not work and the second room they put us in smelled and all the sheets were nasty smelling I will never go to any Fairfield inn again after this experience Save your money in my opinion

Place is nice, parking lot is not safe and they don’t care about thisAt night, when normally people come in, there’s nobody at the front desk, if you make enough noise someone will come over Bathroom frame in room was so old and probably damaged too so when you walk to the bathroom or in the surrounding areas it will make a ridiculous loud noise, unless you’re staying alone this soy work since everyone in the room will wake up every time someone goes to the bathroom or walks to the fridge to get water…

The AC doesn’t go below 66 and even when set at this temp it will not cool down more than 72, an entire night set up at 66 and we woke up every hour because we were sweating, why? Because AC don’t workFridge would keep stuff a hit cooler than room temp but not cold unless you keep pressing the “fast cooldown” every hour…Walls are quite thin and floors weakPet fee is one of the highest in hotels and they still give you a hard time with your furry friendsNot sure how clean bedding and towels really were, they smell and felt like they had been wash with just water

The rooms themselves were very nice but I was concerned that they allowed tables and seating area right outside the main entrance You could smell cigarette smoke and the men sit there watching you unload your car Made us feel very uncomfortable

For 20000 a night ,I expected better They need to move the seating area to the side or back

Brad Lyman

I stayed here for a local wedding and it’s in an ideal spot There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, banks, etc

And that can be a real life-saver when you gotta run to grab something you forgotI was able to check in a bit early and the staff were friendly and quick The parking lot is plenty big even if you have a truck or SUV

Anything but quality should be the name The bathroom has paint peeling off the wall The sink is rusted

The temperature inside is hotter than outside and muggy The lobby smelled like someone spilled gallons of soap that could have been used to clean the rooms The toilet is not ADA compliant and hard to use You are charged extra for a “deposit” and can’t pay online like other Choice Hotels And since I have a choice I won’t be staying with Choice any longer if they think this brand is acceptable in their family

So very kind staff I was in town to attend a wedding As we are to leave it is raining HARD One of the staff offered to get my vehicle so I wouldn’t get soaked in my dress clothes

It is so refreshing to see displays of kindness and service these days

This place is unbelievable, I definitely over paid for a overnight stay Phone in the room was not working, ice machine are ALL down, air conditioning and cooler were not working properly, vent in the bathroom was making a horrible noise, room and sheets had a musty smell, beds are lumpy and in need of new mattress, Wi-Fi password was not in room at reach I have stood in Quality inns before and this one by far was the worst

Last time I check my family and myself in to a poor facility like this oneThey need to step up their game Quality inn should have quality,,,,hanging a nice chandelier in your lobby doesn’t make it quality!!!!

We had a generally lackluster stay here — passable but with issuesPROS:• Ample well-lighted parking• Easy access to Hwy 40 and 364• Generally quiet locationCONS:• Each time we went to the front desk (check-in, housekeeping/towel service, and checkout), we had to go find the clerk, who was off in the back office, laundry room, food area, or elsewhere• On the Choice Hotels website for Sleep Inn, we’d been assigned a pet-friendly room, which we didn’t want, and we’d requested a quiet room on a high floor

We asked for a similar king room that wasn’t for pet owners and were never told that the substitute would be a first-floor ADA room instead (The ADA room meant no storage under sink, bars and chair in the shower, and a zero-edge shower floor)• The toilet seat was nearly off its hinges, moving at least an inch with a touch (not safe in any room, let alone an ADA one)• The sink leaked both at the faucet and underneath (it had plastic caps added under the sink as though repaired previously, but water still ran down the tile and puddled on the floor, with dead bugs along the tile, and was wet enough on the counter to soak through an entire box of tissue)• Due to the sink leak and edge-free shower, there was continually water on the floor, and since housekeeping is available only upon request, it was hard to find enough towels/bath mats to wipe it up• The restroom had no bath fan, giving it a humid, cave-like, musty feel due to the water issues in that space• Upon checking out, we told the general manager that we’d been charged an extra $30 for this ADA room by the registration clerk (even though we weren’t notified of the circumstances of the room at that time), and we said that we wanted to pay only what our original receipt was supposed to be She twice told us she couldn’t adjust it since we booked through a third-party site (not true — we booked directly through Choice Hotels, Sleep Inn’s corporate parent)• We were then told that the price adjustment hadn’t occurred on their end (also not accurate) and told we must’ve booked an extension to our stay (we hadn’t)• When I produced the original Choice Hotels e-mail, showing the booking price $30 lower than what we were charged, she then found in their system that the registration clerk had indeed done an override and in fact charged us more upon check-in• We asked her to fix it and produce a zeroed-out paid invoice, but she told us that she was tired and needed to go home and sleep — that she would do it the next day I then asked for a note or e-mail of some kind to at least acknowledge that this would happen, but she again stated that she was tired and needed to go home (7:30 am) When I asked if someone else on her team could do it, she said that, no, she was the general manager and she would need to back it out and rerun it herself To her credit, that did happen, and we did not have to call Choice Hotels corporate customer service to fix the adjustment, but overall it seems that the general manager sets the tone for the quality of customer service, and this experience did not represent one I’d care to repeat

The hotel is not as fancy as other Sleep Inn’s I have been to, but was adequate There was nothing that would make me not want to stay here againThe exceptional:The beds were comfortable, as in, not rock hard

(pillows were small as Chiclets though – 3 per bed in my room)Lobby area was niceGood location off interstate, easy to get toThe expected stuff that is good:Free breakfastLocation has a small indoor poolFridge, Microwave, desk and TVThe less good (but not deal breakers – just observations):Doors were weird, you had to pull up on the room handle to open door instead of down as you would think you shouldBathrooms are a sink in the main room, and the toilet/shower in their own room, not a fan of this configuration, but I know it’s pretty commonMy lamp at the bedside table had a burnt out lightthe Outlet at the desk didn’t work

***NO HOT TUB *** If you look forward to a hot tub after a long day of travel book elsewhere This place only has a heated pool which is definitely not the same thingStaff is great and it’s super clean

Check in was easy and efficient

I chose this hotel for my wedding so that my husband and I, the wedding party & any wedding guests could book a room for the night While the hotel was nice I can not say enough negative things about the staff We arrived at the hotel I went up to our room while my husband got our bags

Upon exiting the elevator I heard yelling and partying in a room at the end of the hall, not very far from our room After getting settled in our room, my husband and I had 2 other family members in our room We received a knock on the door and it was hotel staff telling us they were getting complaints about noise We explained that it was not us and that it was the room at the end of the hall A little while later the same staff member came back and with extreme hostility said same thing and said “this is your 2nd warning” Again, we explained it was not us, it was the room at the end of the hall (also DO NOT talk to me like a 2 year old) Come to find out the next day, this same hotel staff member did this same thing to my Aunt’s room where it was only her, my mom & my other AuntI have never been treated so ignorantly by a hotel I will never stay there again and will advise anyone I know to never stay there and hopefully they will spread the word as well I would give this hotel a negative star if I could

Jennifer Campbell

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times before We come back because we have always had a positive experience The rating has nothing to do with the rooms or staff but on the pet policy

If they are going to allow people to bring dogs, that is fine, but they need to stay away from rooms with people who do not have dogs We drove 18 hours one day and finally made it to the hotel at 1 am At 6 am, the person in the room next to us must have left for breakfast or the gym because the dog started barking and whining We were facing another 15 hour drive the next day and needed more sleep Not all people with dogs realize that their dog is annoying and imperfect Please reverse course on this policy or consider moving the dog owners to a different side of the hotel (Also, our room smelled clean, but it kinda smelled like wet dog underneath the clean)

Ashish Choudhari

The staff is helpful Breakfast is served from 6 am to 9 am during weekdays and till 10am on weekendsRoom was ok

The bathroom door was not closing properlyShower door was not cleanApart from this had a pleasant stay here

We had the 3 bedroom suite n it was clean and roomy for our family The service was good They were very friendly

We came for a hockey tournament and this was a great place for the price n it was close enough to places to take the kids to burn energy We also got offered room service which made it nice to see if anything was needed Last few places we stayed we were not offered anything Would definitely stay again

mansa shaka

I mean it was at a great cost, during a severe winter warning, and it came with a heater/hot water So if you feel that the cleanliness is not up to par ask yourself what you expected? I’ve found things in these rooms that would suggest a less than thorough inspection but having had experiencing camping in the outdoors and freezing on the street I’d say this was swell Compares to what you could pay for it seems like the “amenities” provided by their competitors are merely attempts to satisfy vanity

Rivka Carnes

If I could give no stars I would The worst Customer service I’ve every had They are short, disrespectful, interrupt and cut you off

They even stated it was their fault that the room wasn’t canceled and refused to reimburse me They refuse to allow you to speak and shut you down BBB will get a report from me on them Regarding their parking lot and fraudulent activity Breakfast is barely anything, tiny bite size muffins Walls are thin and you can hear all foot traffic, doors shutting, talking and dogs barking The parking lot is difficult to get out of because it dead ends Don’t stay here, pay the extra $20 to get good sleep and respectful Customer Service

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on a recent trip to St Louis, and it met every expectation! The room was very spacious and so clean! The staff were friendly and inviting The hotel was quiet and we got plenty of rest! Check-In was fast and efficient

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice stay in St Louis!

Elijah Steinbauer

The room and hotel were clean on a basic day to day level There were some orange and black spots on the bathroom ceiling The key cards to 2-5 attempts to work

So, some signs of neglect and disrepair Continental breakfast was good and all the staff seemed nice For hotels on a road trip it was better than many, but not really what I expect from a Hilton

Just Chillin

Very nice place to stay! But very disappointed when we went for breakfast thinking it was included! We just helped ourselves and her comes someone who lays down a bill for almost 3000! Me n wife didn’t eat that much at all This has never happened before! Later we seen the price written on a small chalkboard! Otherwise would have gave 5 stars

Never Stay again Let your customers no with a sign BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY! VERY DISAPPOINTING

My kids really loved this place! The breakfast was good and we’ve never stayed anywhere (that isn’t a large resort) with a fire pit and basketball court The pool was closed but there was a nearby sister hotel that was allowing use of their pool (we didn’t go, but it was an option) The rooms were comfortable and the employees were very friendly

The lady working in the evening/night was so nice and helpful! If we ever come back to St Louis we will definitely stay here again

Bob

The breakfast staff was attentive and there was a good variety The pool was nice and cleanThey did throw out my son’s shirt, which he should have gone down quicker to check on it

He left it in the pool area right around the time the pool closed, we were just surprised they threw it out instead of having it in lost and found There were stains on the furniture in the room, the room wasn’t set up for the correct number of guests There were no sheets for the pull out, and no shower gel in the dispenser in the bathroom, and not enough towels As Spire Elite members, our family spends a lot of time in hotels Wasn’t our best experience with a Staybridge, but we would give this location another chance

Sandra Hunter

Staybridge is our go to place when we travel However this visit was horrible Check in was suppose to be at 3pm we couldn’t until the room had been was inspected

which was fine The problem was we waited almost an hiur Once we checked into our room there was a hole in the bedroom ceiling The cabinet in the kitchen was off the hinges, the carpet was dirty with several spots The pull out couch was dirty and disgusting The mattress had so many spots and so much trash under the cushions and couch When we brought the issues to the front desk there reply was I’m not surprised Not sorry or let me see how we can make your stay better Needless to say we were very unhappy and disappointed

We went through 4 rooms to find a clean one The A/C did not work properly and the room got hot The staff was vacuuming at 8pm and banging into things

Someone had a dog that barked every 2 hours all night right outside of window The room maintenance is poor, there were holes in the walls, visible screw heads and chipped drywall The mattress and pillows have seen better days The only good thing was the manager that worked hard to find us a clean room Not worth the money We checked in May 27 at 3pm

Nice staff Neat place Steak was a disappointment

Ordered Porterhouse med Over cooked and half gristle Weird times these days but at least get a decent steak for $32 payed way more before, so price is not an issue but still $32 for gristle is a bit much Had better at my local breakfast place Tasted like it was in a tenderize solution like theirs as well Fail on the steaks at a steak place not good

Brandon Farris

My son and I stayed here for just one night Room seemed ok and some what clean Problem is after that one night we both ended up with bites on our arms and legs

Pretty sure it’s a sign of bedbugs Will never stay here againUpdate 7/12/22: While my son was attending a wrestling camp he developed an infection on the bites After going to the doctor it was determined they were in fact bedbug bites Be cautious and aware of your stay here

The location was on the way to where I was going The rooms were nice and clean and roomy I had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV, king size bed, two bedside tables and a desk with a chair

I like the Citrus Mint smell to the shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion I appreciate when a hotel actually puts a bottle of conditioner for the guest This one even gives you Shea butter soap The front desk staff was courteous and gave directions to the room and to the cart to get my bags in When I asked a different additional information, she gave that as well with a smile

Michelle McKain

Pros:The staff was very friendly and accommodatingWater pressure was goodAllows dogs of different sizesClose to highwayCons:Not worth the cost whatsoeverBeds are very hardStains on carpet, sheets, and wallsNot a variety in breakfastFees not disclosed at checkinPool states to be heated but was very cold along with the pool room itselfThe side doors do not allow you in with your key, but you can put the cinder block that is sitting there to block open the door – safety issueI completely understand that our dogs made other peoples’ stay less enjoyable so I accept that fact The front desk was very kind and understanding about our situation and we resolved it immediately We came back to the hotel immediately and corrected the issue

I was assured that everything was fine and not to worry did not know I would be charged a fee for this I do really appreciate the staff being very kind and helpful That is honestly the only great positive thing I can say They were wonderful The hotel definitely needs to match their price to their rooms or update the rooms and amenities to match the cost

Our family came to visit friends and Six Flags Great America So after this long day a good night sleep was wanted And this establishment delivered

While traveling across the US, this was one of five hotels we had booked for our trip last week Out of all the hotel experiences, this was by far the best From check in to check out, we felt that the quality matches the price

Breakfast was yummy, beds comfy, clean rooms and friendly staff! Will definitely book here if we are traveling through again!

Phenomenal staff

Front desk ladies were best any hotel could ask for to represent you for guests checking in, especially like us, fatigued from long drive, previous night in a competitors hotel w/horrific facility, “food”, etc, hence we “bolted” to this hotel Though on the road due to a death in the family, our stay here (& your staff) were so kind and we managed to get some well-needed rest Thank you!!
