This place gave me American Horror Story vibes I love the retro feel and look but not all the way down to the sheets Beds did not appear very clean

Stains, cigarette holes and extremely worn out sheets The pillows need to be changed, I used 2 to feel like 1 Landscape was not kept up with and there were a few shady people walking around bit there was security or maintenance doing constant rounds

Here the good, the bad, and the uglyThe goodGood employee, helpful receptionist, good price for two nightsThe badElectrical problems of my roomThe uglyFlooring is really look like it hasn’t been clean for the long timePest infestation

i stayed here a couple of years ago and i loved it so i decided to return and decide i will not stay again in the future unless they improve on cleanliness and updates, i’m not exact when i say that every single one of our linens bed sheets top covers and towels were either so stained they look like they have never been washed or they weren’t washed at all, i picked out sooo many long black hairs between the layers of sheet and covers i could have made a sweater i wanted to continue to give this place business as i loved it so much the first time but i just can’t when it’s that gross

Wonderful stay!! I had to come to weslaco for 2 weeks of management training at buffalo wild wings The company picked the hotel ahead of time There were several hotels closer to where I worked but I was so pleased with the room and the staff especially Alex(at the front desk) , I didn’t mind the drive

And after a 12 hour shift of training in a busy restaurant, I really appreciated the huge comfortable bed I would highly recommend Comfort Inn in Donna Texas to everyone And if I ever have to go out of town again, I hope they have a Comfort Inn because I don’t wanna stay anywhere else

Sergio and the entire staff are very attentive, pleasant and willing to help with any problems we had Rooms are worth the $ you pay 2 beds , fridge, and a small couch pullout bed

It’s an older building it’s not perfect I seen them work hard to keep customers happy , seen they also do patrols of the property in the middle of the night Which made me feel safer Thank you to the entire staff Have a great day

ERIKA REYNA

The sheets were stained we did ask for new ones they didn’t have a problem give us some the prices were cheap they have breakfast every morning the rest of the room looked clean only problem was there was trash behind the small couch but overall the stay was not bad

AC work really good especially with the heat down here and also hot water was a plus the days I stayed did notice they started taking out the furniture so im assume it is for cleaning

Steve Golosin

The room and the bathroom were spotless I always check under all layers of sheets and the mattress It was as clean as can be

The bed was extremely soft and allowed a great night sleep The room was very quiet although that can be dictated sometimes by a noisy upstairs neighbor Nice big TV compared to other hotels The staff were incredibly helpful and easy to talk to Great facility as expected

Destiny Ramirez

Honestly this is a really great placeThe cleaning ladies are nice and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful to any questions I had at the timeIt smells and looks cleans

I walked around the building and they had a pretty nice set up for their workout room, the laundromat area is pretty great – 2 washers 2 driers each $1 – was nice and cleanThe breakfast is great – I usually arrive alittle late and the bacon is gone so 🥲🥲 yeah, it’s all good thoughPretty great spot, lots of parking, a clean refreshing pool – they just tore down the building behind the hotel so now I’m able to see the sunset between the palm trees – above the highway – it’s great 🙂 so far 10/10

Hampton Inn is my favorite hotel chain and my husband and I have stayed at many across the country This was the best one we have stayed at It was so clean and beautifully decorated with very current styles

The bathroom sink was beautiful I loved the shower with two heads As always, the bed and bedding were super comfortable The staff was very helpful and friendly The only room for growth was that the oatmeal was not cooked enough (we ate when breakfast started–I’m sure it was cooked by the later breakfast hours) Overall, I rate it 5/5 stars Thanks!

We had a few “snags” here but a lot of the amenities made up for it I suppose The first “snag” was the first room that was given to us, one of the two beds had obviously not been made up it looked like someone just woke up from it, obviously not clean! So immediately I requested another room which I was given right away! The rooms were a bit small and the bedding old fashioned, nothing like what is pictured and as advertised onlineThe beds were comfortable tho and the breakfast was really great

The pool area looked really inviting but it was cold outdoors Free parking is a plus too The lobby was bright and decorated nicely The price was good so if I had to I’d stay here again

First off, I need to make sure that everyone knows that Lala in the breakfast area is so delightful, she was always happytosee us every morning That being said, the rest of the staff except for Jason (manager) were all very uninterested in helping ! They seemed to be more engaged in their cell phones than the guests! I understand its hard to find good help these days, but perhaps management should address this daily and encourage guest contact to all employees! The rooms were clean and everything seemed to work properly as expected!

The room is worn, stained and dirty The bathroom had black mold around the tub, grab bars and tile The curtains were torn to shreds; the lampshades were broken and bases rusty

Asked to have the bathroom cleaned, but didn’t do it I asked for rags, a brush and bleach to clean it myself They never appeared with the supplies The foot of the mattress is higher than the head! You can only reach hotel staff on duty by phone Your complaints will fall on deaf ears They just don’t careLast stay here

Everything Nini

This is the worst Comfort suites I’ve ever stayed in I normally love them, but man have they gone down hill after Covid Very noisy and bright light shines around the curtains all night

We hardly sept The hot breakfast used to have make your own waffles, sausage patties, little folded eggs with cheese, boiled eggs, a selection of pasteries, yogurt etc This one has the absolutely worse tasting microwave egg things I’ve ever tasted, a few muffins and coffee that might as well be hot water, no yogurt, no waffles, a few green bananas and apples The TV in our room is old and we couldn’t even cast from our phones to it The coffee given in the room was some weird brand that had no flavor either and looked like it had been there for years Some of the lights aren’t working in our room and the air conditioner doesn’t seem to keep the room at the set temp I like it cold in my room and set it at 66 and it definitely is not getting that cool and keeps going off The bed is comfy and it’s clean, but other than that it sucks I think they are using the Covid crisis as an exuse to skimp on the food etc Texas has been open and past the masks for a while now and I see no reason to use Covid for an exuse anymore We’ve had hardly any fatalities in a while and the cases have plumeted since Texas re-opened completely We will never stay at this Comfort Suites again and may think twice about staying in them in other areas We travel a lot and have stayed in other hotels that still have a decent breakfast and ammenities I am very disappointed

Jennifer Schuster

Front desk ppl were very nice They even gave us a card for 15% off at gift shop We rented the family room

Not what I expected It had 2 full size beds in one room with a small closet & in the next room over had 2 twin size beds a built in desk with mirror & small closet with a Shared bathroom We expected this room to be a whole room No division and way bigger None smoking rooms, that’s fine We don’t smoke anyways No mini fridge, so I could keep my babies milk cold No microwave No blow dryer No coffee maker No telephone No alarm clock Very cold we had no control over the AC Had small flat screens in each room bathroom was nice, but no tub to wash my baby Up stairs No elevator The doors to the place lock up at 10pm so if you put pasted then you had to call security to come unlock the front door to let you in But that was nice to know I felt safe Very quiet that was awesome too But every 30 seconds the fire alarm would beep really loud No free breakfast, it was so hot in the cafe But over all for a place to lay my head It was nice

Nice older hotel Room was pretty standard and the king bed was comfortable Very nice front desk people we were able to speak with during breakfast on Sunday morning

They are also struggling with having enough employees to take over some of their hours so are dealing with potential burnout Dave, the omelet guy, served a great breakfast Sunday but was off on our last morning there Missed him and his service! There was still adequate food but no plates or bowls and we couldn’t even make our own waffles? If we had been staying longer, would have checked to make sure Dave was there for breakfast first!

I don’t know how they got a 4 star rating other than they must have a lot of employes trying to keep there jobs I reserved a king with a sofa on the first floor We had to move to the second floor to get one

This motel has no elevator and we are both in our seventies with bad knees This motel also has a roach problem and I killed several during our 5 day stay The cable tv did not work and they had nothing for breakfast The only good thing I can say about this motel is the internet worked well

Overall, the room was nice and clean, as well as the bathroom It did show a little sign of wear, but it was still a good room The price for a single room was not too bad, and the breakfast itself was good

The only downside I would say, would, be the young lady at the front desk She seemed a little rude, or maybe in a bad mood Either way, great place to stay for a night

Angela S

We stayed here for 5 days Rooms are very clean & beds comfy Our room had a king bed, small couch, table with 2 chairs, desk & rolling chair, small fridge, & a microwave

Everyone at the front desk was helpful & pleasant The pool is small & WiFi goes in & out Breakfast was amazing you get your choice of waffles, cereal, sweet bread, fruit, or a freshly made omelette or taco-comes with a side of beans & (very spicy) salsa Great place to stay

O Luna

Service was good, we arrived right before 12:00 midnight Fair price, I did ask for the room with the kitchen but not sure if she heard me or not because I was given the room with tile Online that room had carpet and was bigger then the one we got

The most important thing to me on choosing this hotel is that they are dog friendly Coming from a city like Austin all hotels here are dog friendly and the RGV is not like that at all La Copa Inn was perfect Rooms are a good size The AC and fan were great Nothing seemed out of place or dirty Location was next to the outlet mall and restaurants The bed was comfortable
