Great hotel, clean rooms, pool was cold but nothing a bit of sunburn won’t cure The staff was great and very polite Oddly, in the middle of the night, the water goes out

I recomend fixing that water issue and having more shaded areas around the patio We would definitely go back

If you’re looking for a place to stay in the north Tampa/Citrus Park area this is it! It’s one of the few hotels in the Tampa area with FREE PARKING! The hotel is pretty new and has lots of seating areas in the lobby for anyone who needs to get some work done The breakfast food options are decent and will range between $12-$15 There’s a great outside seating area with a fire pit

The rooms are a decent size and are pretty comfortable There’s a desk in each room that make getting work done easy The bathrooms are modern and very cleanAdditionally the hotel is next to a walking trail which is very convenient for walking, running or biking There are several food options nearby and within walking distance from the hotel There’s also a mall and shopping center nearby

A++++++ THANK YOU JASMINE & RAMONA !!!! I haven’t reviewed a hotel in a whole long time but these two people at Marriott here really made me feel welcome They had all my room preferences taken into consideration and offered me so much during my check in 💙💯I really appreciate the wonderful, very clean, comfortable room you have for me

Not only did they take the time to rebook my next room for the rest of the weekend, Thank you Jasmine They also helped me with getting my laundry done by borrowing me a few quarters from their own pocket, thank you Ramona 🙂🙏You both really are great and kind, and they should have more people such as yourselves working or training others at property’s that don’t go all the way like you both have 🔥🤙🇺🇸💜Sincerely,Joe

I travel frequently for work and I have never experienced such great hospitality and service The hotel and rooms were very clean and updated The pool area was beautiful and provided lounge chair food and beverage service

The staff from front desk, valet, housekeeping, and in room dining staff were all very friendly and helpful I even had daily maid service That is hard to find these days and this hotel completely nailed it! I can’t wait to return

Connor Jewiss

This hotel is fantastic Having stayed in other properties nearby, this one is the best by far The rooms are fantastic, and so are the amenities

Upon arriving as a Bonvoy Gold member, I was instantly upgraded to one of the highest floors After my flight was cancelled, they easily allowed me to stay an extra night in a room, which was also upgraded, and at a reduced rate All the staff are incredibly friendly, from the front desk, the bell staff, housekeeping, valet, restaurants, pool, and bar The rooms were spotless, and the pools incredibly refreshing Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, and will certainly be staying here again!

Teresa T

Beautiful and luxurious hotel with lots of amenities The staff is friendly and very helpful Clear signs touch screen elevator and there is plenty of food options on property

They honor the privacy tags at the door Plenty of USB and outlets in the room They have slippers and mouthwash too if those matter to you (I certainly appreciate it) Basically everything you would anticipate in an upscale room I would recommend and definitely returnI would appreciate vents in the bathroom I also didn’t see a lock

We love staying at Hampton Inn & Suites anywhere we’re traveling Justin was so helpful at check-in and answered all of our questions quickly Great guy and so welcoming! We spent the entire day on a road trip; we had the best night’s sleep ever

The beds were so comfortable and clean Our room was equipped with a television, microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator It was perfect for our familyThe complimentary breakfast was delicious and the employees were so nice (especially a English woman working in the breakfast room); I’m sorry I don’t remember her name We talked about Greece and her home in England My husband and I really enjoyed chatting with herIt’s so hard to find quality hotels sometimes, especially pet-friendly ones Our Jack Russell terrier enjoyed his stay as wellWe highly recommend

I got my roof done from Tip Top Roofing & Siding last year after they replaced a roof for a close family friend who also had a great experience I was impressed to see how hard they worked and how quickly they got the job done I was so happy with the work that I had them come back again this year to put a new siding on my house

They were such a pleasure to work with, the quality of their work was great, and their prices were very affordable I highly recommend them for any roofing and siding needs

Dianna M Corbin Alvira

I absolutely love the Courtyard by Marriott chain and usually pick them when I travel, this has been the only one I’ve had a horrible experience in Food in restaurant was undercooked and there where mold on the vents of the sitting dining area A car got crashed by valet during my stay

Rooms where clean and the bartender was nice but the room I paid for was unavailable when I arrived so had to sleep super uncomfortable the first night Not what you are expecting when you stay at a hotel to “relax” Did not have a comfortable and peaceful stay Definitely not going again

nathan d

So much fun, relaxed feel, Starbucks coffee made to order by staff is really good 👍 rooms were nice, the office chair was really comfy, cool chair in corner with ottoman, big bathroom plenty of towls, decent coffee in room bring your own cream or the Bistro should have some out for free which was nice Pool was nice, outside area had a basketball court so cool Grill, workout room reverse osmosis water in hallways was awesome and made the coffee so good

I would definitely recommend staying here 👌

Stayed 2 weeks at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint me at all Place is clean, breakfast is decent (I make my own egg and cheese burrito, maybe they can add sour cream next time), love the fireplace at night to keep you warm, reception is very friendly except for one Would be nice if a certain receptionist understands the hospitality work she’s in, a receptionist is the first person that greets you very time you drop by the front desk

She seems to be not happy with her job Asked her if she’s okay one day as she’s got this long face all the time and her response is she’s tired Aren’t we all? I like approaching Jessica and Karen as they always have that welcoming smile on their faces and interacts with the guests when needed, highly commendable Julie their manager is phenomenal I can’t count how many I asked her to change the way my billing is done and she did with patience Would I go back to this place again or recommend it to friends and families? ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY!

kevin drako

Great experience a newer property, solid friendly service, however it was the properties breakfast that won me over The people working the breakfast area always smiling, always offering to help, made me smile to start my day Breakfast choices were excellent and in an age where many places using covid as the reason they cut back, this was one of the best

I enjoyed my breakfast Well done!

Jason PDSI

Was there for two nights last weekend for a fan fest Blown away by the cleanliness and friendly staff Room was EXQUISITE

I’ve never stayed in a room with a full kitchen before, including fridge, oven, and DISHWASHER As you can tell, I don’t travel much, and even when I do, I usually stay at a cheaper motel Continentalbreakfast was biscuits and gravy, eggs, and delicious breakfast sandwiches, as well as oatmeal, bagels, etc Giving it the Dave Meltzer Kenny Omega In The Egg Dome SEVEN STARS

Room was perfectly cleaned, the whole hotel was very clean Restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is very good, the prices line any hotel The rooms are not the typical Holiday Inn room

The are minimalistic style I thought the decor looked old I think they should have replaced the doors when they remodeled, they look like they have been painted 20 times You can tell that the lady renovation was only partial Still a decent place to stay, wonderful bed and the rooms are super quiet from outside noise However, in the hallways you can hear every conversation and Inter room you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways It has a very nice pool They charge guest for parking, that cost the hotel one whole star Noise issue, another star Still recommend it

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you won’t be let downThe room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable The water pressure leaves something to be desired, but outside of that evening was great I never did see the hotel restaurant open and checked at all times of day There is a cooler in the lobby with drinks for purchase and some snacks as well Ricardo is the nicest staff person there He was always kind and helpful I’d stay here again if I were in the area

Kelly P

If you’re coming from out of town, be aware that this hotel is not in the best area The inside itself was nice and the hotel staff was great The experience was strange however

This was the first hotel I’ve been to where you need your room key to use the elevator and you’re only able to go to your room floor On one hand it ensure your safety, but on the other, you have to wonder why they do that There are some homeless people in the area, so that may be why When my husband and I were sitting at the restaurant, a homeless guy walked in, put his bags at the table beside us and went to use the restroom We are from a small town in Southern Ontario and aren’t used to seeing that (even amongst all the places we’ve traveled to) We quickly finished eating and left We went for a walk to the convenience store across the road and there were sketching characters around, so just be mindful of that if you’re walking around outside the hotel The room was average, but clean We found it pricey for what it was, but I think all of Tampa is expensive The restaurant was ok, but the service was terrible We had a Philly steak sandwich for dinner which was good, but we had to ask for things like ketchup, etc as it was never offered They also didn’t take a drink order and then give us time to look at the menu They dropped off the menu and came right back and said do you know what you want to order It was strange We went back for breakfast as it was convenient Again, the service was not good I ordered waffles and they were the worst waffles I’ve ever had and the coffee wad terrible I would go somewhere else! All in all, our stay wasn’t terrible, but given the area, I’d likely find somewhere else to stay if I ever went back to Tampa

Clean, well maintained rooms I used the gym in the evening It is well equipped with all the basics – treadmill, elliptical, bike, bench and free weights

Breakfast and coffee were good as always Airplane noise is audible but becomes significantly less frequent later at night Front desk does off ear plugs which is the first time I’ve seen any hotel offer them So they’re aware of the potential problem and doing their best to mitigate That being said, I had no problem sleeping without using ear plugsHampton is always my go to when traveling And this hotel is no different

Steve Barthelmes

Did not get a chance to stay here because my flight was canceled I wanted to see what my options were so I decided to call instead of cancel online I was on hold with 2 different people for over an hour, just to cancel the reservation

Each person I talked to asked me the exact same questions The people on the phone were very nice, but over an hour, just to cancel? They said the front desk showed I already checked in even though I was 2000 miles away So they ended up creating a case, and claimed someone will call me I really really doubt it What a terrible experience

Ruth Williams

The front of the building was under construction, but they make it easy to find the lobby Staff friendly and accommodating, when we asked where we could get utensils in the evening the guy at the front desk showed us through the doors where we could get them ourselves There was a laminated paper on the bed when we got in telling us that if we needed them they could provide ear plugs, but the sound of the planes really wasn’t loud or bothersome at all

Very clean, overall decor and furniture seem new, bed super comfortable Breakfast was as good as any Hampton Inn breakfast, eggs, bacon, waffles, etc But the best part about breakfast was that the chef had made and handed out Valentine’s day cards with fake roses to the guests! He stood up and wished us all a happy Valentine’s day from Hampton Inn too That was a fun touch

Visiting here from Panama City FL, One of the cleanest places we have stayed Housekeeping was very nice and the rooms were so clean I’m usually iffy when booking Hotels but they definitely deserved 5 stars

Front desk staff attendant was very pleasant her name tag said Princess I remembered her name because she was so pleasant and gave us great hotel details and made us feel really welcomed I felt a lot better after arriving and coming in contact with her when checking in All around nice hotel My kids enjoyed watching the plane fly over the pool 😉

PM

Overall, this hotel is not bad The staff is helpful and housekeeping changed bedsheets/towels everyday (not many hotels do that these days) The room itself was spacious and beds were comfy

However, there is a bit of a noise problem at this hotel Firstly, there’s quite a bit of noise coming from the street Plus, the walls between rooms are not very sound-proof The guest in our adjacent room would play TV all night and we could hear the sound The bathroom is too small The hotel also feels a bit old, however, it is clean and maintained in a decent state

Benji Sharrow

This is one of the better Comfort Suites I’ve ever stayed in The people working here are super nice It seems like someone is always cleaning something

Housekeeping actually had the desk call us to ask if they could clean our room which is not normal these days Hot tub is awesome, good breakfast and good night sleep! Definitely recommend this hotel!

I loved this hotel!! The staff were really pleasant and extremely helpful, especially Sonia and Dalton I liked the fitness center and the business center The business center is HUGE and would be perfect for a quiet place to work (rather than the room)

I only went in there on my last day and wish I would have checked it out sooner My husband had breakfast twice in the lobby and was very pleased We both had drinks at the bar on two occasions and I was not disappointed there either The selection of snacks and drinks for purchase in the lobby was much larger than I expected I really liked this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I am in Tampa

Beatrice Walker

The room is clean and quiet The food would have been great if it was brought to me hot instead of cold, the fries was hot thank goodness but the pasta dish was cold and it had to be heated up, I’m sure it was heated in a microwave and it was still just warm when I received it If I wasn’t tired and hungry I would have sent it back again but I was in no mood for disagreements with the chef

They only had one bar tender and one waitress They need to hire more help and perhaps your food will get delivered to your table hot if you ordered a hot dish The hot staff was nice I’m real particular about my food being served, if the meal is supposed to be served hot I want it hot If they would hire more help perhaps my food would have been hot instead of being in the kitchen and someone from the kitchen brought it in that should tell you something

The Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore completely saved my travel experience on a business trip from Alberta to Florida When I tell you this team is nothing short of incredible, there are no words to really explain how well taken care of I felt as a solo female travelerWhen there were issues with my credit card that jeopardized the booking, Pablo at reception was an absolute angel and not only helped me quickly and politely, but handled all of the paperwork and everything for me so I was able to get to work and waste no time

He updated me every step of the way and was incredibly kind and patient Pablo, you are the greatest and you saved my experience in Tampa Thank you! Lauren at reception, when my flight home was cancelled and my stay needed to be extended, made everything completely seamless and was so friendly, helpful, quick and kind This team is one of a kind and made the experience so easy and wonderfulJim at the Bay Breeze restaurant/bar – not only displays excellent customer service, menu knowledge, and everything you would expect from a dining experience; but also was a friendly, respectful and above-and-beyond conversationalist Not to mention incredible conflict resolution skills that made me feel very safe and confident enjoying my time thereThank you so much to this team, I can honestly say that the absolute best part of my entire trip to Tampa was the staff and experience at this Hilton location You guys are all amazing Keep it up!

Stayed for 5 days Lovely hotel, clean new rooms, great breakfast and a Starbucks in the lobby! Breakfast changed daily All were good

They included usually bread array and bagels, most days lox and capers too, eggs, bacon or sausage, French toast, French toast sticks, and a potato item Fresh fruit, juices, cereal, yogurts, granola, and sliced meats and cheeses too Staff was pleasant Valet was fast and polite Over all top notch

Cee GeeBee

Just finished a three night stay here Staff were super friendly and were very responsive to a couple requests we had I recommend room 1207 for the big windows and great view!I am giving four stars for something that is slightly out of their control – the valet parking

At certain times of the day and I’m sure particularly on the weekend it is so backed up that cars begin blocking the intersectionWe would text the valet when we were ready to pick up our car but they never received the messages and we just had to wait when we got down there The cost to park is high And I’d gladly self park and save the valet the hassle They seemed to be understaffedI’ve never experienced a combo Hyatt House and Hyatt Place It did make for a very crowded breakfast Quite overwhelmingAlso, there was a man in a room four doors down from us who kept his door open all the time All The Time It never bothered us when we were in our room and we were thankful not to be closer to his room as he was a loud talker and loud tv watcher Just oddOther than those quirks we very much enjoyed our stay!

I am Diamond member at Hilton hotel for a long time and I have never experienced any bad service before This hotel house keeping are horrible at cleaning the room and the pool Let me start out naming all the things that are wrong with the hotel

The dishing in the room are extremely disgusting with yellow stain on such as the plates, utensil, pots and pan The guest bedsheets have some pee odors on it The pool was not clean at all, it was very foggy The pool has three dead small frogs floating on the topI went to worked all day and came back to the hotel room, my room smell like smoke so I called the front desk to see if they can help get the smell out because it’s sees like it was coming from ac vent The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, he was able to switch me to a different room without I even asked After I moved all my stuffs to my new room, I decided come back to double check the room to make sure I did not leave anything behind I ran into three house keeping inside the room, two ladies and a man One of the female house keeper was very rude She is short and have a thick accent, I believe she is Mexican She was very rude to me and she have a horrible attitude She told me that I should’ve wait until the next day to switch the room because she doesn’t have a whole team to clean my room Her tone of voice was very rude and mean She told me if the smell is so bad that it’s unbearable, why did I switch in the morning? I was at work all day and when I came back from work the smell of smoke is there I have never heard or see from a hotel that they will need a whole team of house keepers to clean one room before If that house keeper have such a problem with me switching the room, why don’t she go talks to the manager? I was offered to switch the room by the gentleman in the front desk I am not satisfied with my stays, I am a loyal customer Diamond member and I will not tolerated by this type of behavior from that female house keeper She need a better training at her job

Max Marsh

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive Breakfast was nice with good options Minor complaints we’re that our cleaning staff only spoke Spanish so had to use gestures and the little Spanish I remember from high school to communicate

Also the bottom part of the fridge wasn’t cold and one of the plugs for the bath tub wasn’t working Both the fridge and the tub were fixed relatively quickly by the maintenance crew

Our stay was April 26-30Room:the room had a strange smell when we checked in and a carpet issue (carpet in a hotel room in 2022 is a poor choice)One of our room phones was broken which we only discovered because Damian called to find out how our room was, Damian initiated an immediate phone repair We would have likely never used the phone but appreciate Damian’s attention to our stay

The guest services manager Damian did a fantastic job addressing the room issue on night oneThe room itself was large and surprisingly very quiet for being an airport hotel Full size fridge, two burners, plates glasses and utensilsThe thermostat was unique Setting the temperature to say 70 was simple but if the room got too cold and you increased the temp to 71 thinking the thermostat would just shut off you would be incorrect, the heat kicks on and warms the room Not like homeLocation:The location was 6 minutes from the airport and very convenient to the freeway for travel Worked great for usWe walked to several other hotels in the complex and the Homewood appeared to be a bit of a step down in appearance and updatesService:We were told by Damian at check in that we could schedule a day for our housekeeping service which we declined at first but because of our carpet issue housekeeping and engineering were deplored on day 2 to rectify the issueThe hot water in the lobby was usually not kept up but the front desk staff was always willing to pull water from the kitchen for usThe Wednesday evening social was pretty cool, we made a point to put it on our calendar and our only disappointment was that it is not offered more oftenBreakfast was great for the guys in our group but not really the same that we have experienced at other Hilton brands for my wife The fresh fruit was limited, no waffles and overall not as many options that we have seen elsewhere

So, let’s get the one and only negative that I can maybe see someone saying out of the way the hotel was a tad “dated”

And even that is just being picky! However, that being said it was VERY clean and VERY comfortable Without hesitation, I would absolutely stay here again The staff was very helpful and our stay was comfortable We stayed in room 311 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and it was fine While the hotel itself is quiet, the room we had was not; we faced the road, and even on the third floor it sounded like cars were zooming loudly right by the windows, and the air conditioning was very loud as wellI personally felt the bed was hard as a rock – the mattress is EXTREMELY firm

It didn’t help that the pillows were all very small and flimsy (we got two extras from the front desk, which didn’t help) We both tossed and turned and woke up soreThat said, if you like a really (really) hard bed and don’t mind outside traffic, this place is a fine choice It was clean, the staff was friendly, and it’s very convenient The water also gets VERY hot, which is great if you like your showers scalding like I do We’ll likely stay here again, but probably bring our own pillows – and maybe ask for a room that isn’t right on a busy six lane road

Accommodating Despite My Error and the BEST Breakfast EverWe were in town to do some sightseeing in Tarpon Springs/TS and Safety Harbor We decided to stay overnight in Tarpon Springs for a full day of sightseeing and travel the short distance to Safety Harbor the next morning We are loyal Hilton guests and were happy to find a Hampton Inn in TS

I received a quizzical look at check-in after giving my name Turns out I was a day early! Despite my error, the exact room preference was available, and I was relieved especially after a long day on our feet in the hot sunThe room was very clean, and all amenities were in working order We are particular about light and found the reading lamps to be bright enough to read by Our 4th floor room was in the corner so no one on either side made for an especially quiet night Water temperature and pressure were very good I always bring my own pillow; my husband commented that his were medium The beds were comfortable Parking is free of charge Yes, the hotel is on busy US Highway 19 N but we were not bothered at all by the traffic on the pool side of the buildingWe are fond of the coffee station at the Hampton Inn properties especially after a travel day This one is in the soaring great room with lots of light and spacious seating It is the perfect spot to gather and chatThe breakfast was phenomenal After Covid, it was so refreshing to come back to a full, hot breakfast and this hotel does it up right with many choices: waffles, eggs, breakfast meat, yogurt, pastries, bagels, juices, oatmeal and fresh fruitBut the crown jewel of the breakfast was Miss Lonna who has been with the hotel for a couple of years Shegreeted and warmly welcomed every single guest In all of the Hilton properties we’ve stayed, we’ve never had such a welcome like Miss Lonna It is apparent she loves her job to be as sincere and cheerful as she is As an extra service, she came around to each table to ask how everything was and if she could be of any assistance We would return to this property again just for the breakfast experienceAfter a good night’s sleep, we were on our way to Safety Harbor for another day of sightseeing

Was pleasantly surprised Room was spacious and clean I work in the hotel industry and believe me I looked for dirt and insects but couldn’t find any

I’m guessing I stayed in the newly renovated section Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful Breakfast was fresh and exactly what I needed Hotel was under renovations but all noise ended by dinner time Would definitely stay here again

Kayla Larimore

We enjoy staying here while visiting family because they offer two-room suites Having two bathrooms and two closed rooms with kids is a great deal, although a little pricier than we would normally spend on a hotel room The furnishings are a little dated but we have never had any issues with cleanliness or staff

A major plus is that pets are allowed for anyone traveling with furry companions

John Vargas

I stayed here for 5 weeks in a row, business trip I have not a single complaint about it, one day they were doing some renovations and water was running through the closet walls and they immediately acted and fix the issue, their personal was very nice and the most Important thing for me was the cleanliness all over the place Pool area was very good too and location was perfect for me

Will definitely stay again

The hotel was a little older, but was in the middle of a remodel The room was clean There was plenty of storage to unpack for the week

AMAZING food just around the corner, Thai, Sushi, Poke, and Seafood! The best part of the hotel was the legit fitness center Most just have some dumbbells and a treadmill This gym had enough equipment to do a complete workout! Breakfast in the AM isn’t included, but the staff is so friendly and helpful that I didn’t mind having to pay!

Kayla Larimore

We have stayed here a few times when visiting family The location is great right off of Tampa Road – you can easily get to many local destinations The hotel itself is nice but not too pricey

The kids enjoy the pool and the adults the hot tub We have frequently noticed there are no pool towels and had to ask for more at the front desk No issues with cleanliness or staff Good stay for a family vacation!

Ashley

We stayed for four nights with our travel baseball team – which can be A LOT! The entire staff was very patient and friendly with all of us and our kids The gym was great and the dining and pool areas were as well The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very attentive – especially Nadia

She was very sweet to the kids and families, we all loved her! Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable

Nancy Bailey

We had a great stay, especially when we had mentioned we were a family of 5 rooms staying for a funeral, they put us all within 2 doors or just across the hall from each other The hostess for breakfast Nadia, was totally amazing Waking up to her kindness and care she showed to each of us was fabulous

She took the time to greet us and ask for anything we wanted or needed Her individual interest and interaction was above and beyond typical service Nadia each morning would make us mini waffles, and her smile and charm very enlightening We all love you Ms Nadia! 😍

We were there for our son’s wedding and had lots of family with us All of the staff were amazing! Kim at the front desk went out of her way to make us happy! All of the folks at the front desk were superstars: Kim, George, Ron, and Anastasia! Thank you for an an amazing stay! The beds and bedding were awesome and so comfy! Even our 84 year old mother who never sleeps well, slept like a baby! Wonderful experience!

Denise Cadogan-Stanford -LABOR-

My stay was great!!! I have to acknowledge the housekeeper Betty K, she made sure and ensured that all of my needs were met on time She extended her courteous gesture and visited every morning and I appreciated it

My checkout experience was also great!! Stephanie greeted me with a smile and made the checkout process easy Thank you both for my wonderful time at the Westin

What a horrible stay – wish we had chosen a different hotel for our weekend First we endured a ridiculously long wait to check-in because there was only one person at the front desk on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON Then we get a suite that doesn’t have a working bathtub (water wouldn’t drain), no body wash, no bathrobes in the room, and a defective television

Someone came up to “fix” the tub but it still wouldn’t drain in the morning, and when we called down again the front desk tells us they’re aware the tub isn’t working and it needs a bigger fix So they waited to tell us/fix the problem until WE called down to call about it We are finally switched to another room, but it, too, doesn’t have body wash or bathrobes, and now the AC barely works and there is a defective smoke detector that flashes bright green throughout the night When we call the front desk at 2:30am to let them about the smoke detector and how it’s now woken up our 2 year old, instead of offering to fix it or another more feasible solution, we are offered a room change – at 2:30AM with a toddler Ridiculous! The next morning, we stood around for at least 15 minutes before a valet attendant even acknowledged us to ask if we were waiting for our car even though we stood right in front of several guys just standing around chatting with each other It was only when my husband pulled out his wallet that someone looked our way and offered to assistWe were offered $50 off our room stay and complimentary parking for our troubles, but i just received my credit card statement and the parking was charged HORRIBLE experience and with so many other hotels to choose from in the area, Westin Waterside is the last place anyone should book

Everyone we spoke with was personable and welcoming They remembered our names and some of our kids! The convenience of being so close to the airport and the shuttle provided for free, allowed us to save money on our rental car The room was clean, and the pool was refreshing

The food was as you would expect for a continental breakfast I will definitely stay here again when we are back in Tampa

Two words, Bed Bugs My family and I were already exhausted enough from moving We booked here for a nights stay

The room we were in on the 2nd floor was bed bug infested I only noticed because I went to plug in my charger then noticed something crawling on my pillow Then I jumped off the bed quick and saw multiple bed bugs on my pillow Then as we inspected the bed more we noticed bed bugs crawling on different spots of the bed There had to be at least 20 we spotted I immediately called down to the front desk They apologized and then moved us upstairs to a different room They allowed us to inspect this room before agreeing to sleep in it for the night We inspected every inch of that new room by the beds, floor and headboard The hotel staff were friendly and responsive so that’s why I didn’t give this a 1 star But my goodness bedbugs are a nightmare, and they can travel home with you easily, and cost thousands to get rid of from your home!

This Hampton Inn was one of our best experiences!!! Greeted by friendly staff who let us drop off our luggage before checking in Room was beautiful!!! Very clean with lots of unexpected amenities like shaving cream and toothpaste!!! The bed was wonderful and so very comfortable Fabulous shower!!! In the morning we enjoyed an amazing breakfast which we haven’t seen much of in covid times

Holly at the front desk went the extra mile and hired us a cab when the shuttle had an emergency and couldn’t meet us at the airport Gabby was very friendly and assisted in locking up our bags before checking in Great stay all around!!! Thank you!!!

Melissa McConnell

Before I get into my complaints, I just want to say the staff is extremely nice They deserve all the praise in the world I could not have been more please with their service

The hotel? The location is great, they have a free airport shuttle, & (at least my room) had a microwave/minifridge but the hotel itself leaves a little to be desired1 It drastically needs an interior update, starting with gutting the lobby It smells like an ashtray I’m not sure how long ago Tampa banned in door smoking but clearly that smell is not leaving on its own I’ve grown up around smokers my whole life, so I’m not usually sensitive to smoke smells but this was almost unbearable To make it worse, this is the area where the hotel breakfast is set up Who has an appetite with that smell lingering around them? Pro tip: use the back door to bypass the lobby entirely2 Speaking of the back door is that thing ever locked? I never once had to use my card to enter The elevators are right next to the back door & on the opposite side of the building from the reception desk I think most people would prefer it to be locked at least after dark3 It’s loud, you can hear everyone in the hallway Not really much they can do about that but maybe put some slow close hinges on the doors so they don’t slam all night long?4 The beds are very firm It wasn’t a deal breaker for me but definitely could be for othersAll in all, if you’re doing a quick stop over stay – this hotel is fine but anything extended? Maybe choose a different location

Good place for an overnight stay Super convenient and good value, especially if coming from the airport arriving on a late flight Free shuttle from the airport to hotel

All staff members were friendly and provided excellent serviceWe ended up in the last available room, because of our late check in The ac initially didn’t work, but the staff members were able to fix it after figuring it out It took less than 15 min Again, staff members were greatThe room was clean It has all the amenities you need The pillows were comfortable The mattress was a little on the firm side, so better for guysAll in all, it was a good experience

Great hotel overall My family stayed for a long weekend and we loved the proximity to the airport and convenience of local restaurants and shopping Not a far drive to the beach either! The hotel is very clean, staff very helpful and friendly, convenient coffee shop in the lobby, very nice pool on the 9th floor with a beautiful view of the bay, and the beds are comfortable too! Our room had a coffee maker and mini fridge as well

We definitely recommend this hotel

A suitcase and a baby

Nice hotel but there must be a plumbing issue in the hotel Toilet barley flushed and tub didn’t drain Kinda disgusting to shower in dirty water

Corner room view was horrible and it sounded like someone was tapping on my window all night Room never got cold despite being on 65 Beds probably would’ve been comfortable if I weren’t hot as all hell Lobby is welcoming but the workers at the front desk clearly are uninterested in working Bar and work spaces make it convenient for after work drinks

Chelsea S

We were on the 11th floor… the hottest floor in the whole building There was no trash can liners or an ice bucket The ice machine on the 11th floor didn’t work

The ac was set at 65 but the temp of the room never went below 78 It’s a bit awkward that the rooms windows face the office building across the way and everyone can see in to your room And paying $14 to park every day kinda sucked However aside from that it’s a nice hotel The bar was decently priced and Stan the bartender makes a great margarita!
