The Buildings Long architectural shape is cool The wall flower pot paintings are nice to look at

Bathroom shower needs work and some fresh carpet would get rid of the cigarette humid smell or just changing it to floor tile would delete future fungus sanitation problems Check in owner very nice Ice machine, microwave and an awesome panoramic view of my life in my LA COUNTY SINCERELY JESUS BANDAS HONEST REVIEWS

Jacklin Attebery

For the amount I paid the room was outdated The comforter was stained but that was no issue since our A/C in our room was BROKEN so we didn’t need the sheets The bathroom was covered in graffiti and changing the temperature to the shower is a work out on its own

They advertise that they have working A/C AND a microwave I had neither!! Not to mention the dead roaches in the window For $400 I expected a decent room Managers also do not tell you there is a $5 key deposit and just spring it on you as you check in?? Said I would get it back but did not Honestly stay away from here The crack heads are soooo bad here

Jereme Smith

Get your food out, before you get situated Bring your roach repellent/killer, your disinfectant, and keep the lights on at all times You know what, just don’t stay here, skip it unless that’s what you’re used to

If that’s the case, you’ll be right at home Lol smh 🤦🏿‍♂️😒 🤷🏿‍♂️My first&last only time it won’t have to be yours, I did the suffering for you if it’s not your cup of , if T is for terrible It is what it is Jah bless your decision-making

So I was staying in the hotel next door for a night and decided not to book again Crawled next door to the Mirage…omg What a difference! Prices were similar, but this place is double the cleanliness, all their furniture in this room is double new, TV, fridge and everything is much better! I stayed here for a few days while visiting friends and had a great experience The hotel is very clean and well run The staff is super friendly and helpful (especially the older gentlemen at the bar in the restaurant (Faruk?) he provided amazing service, was really great to chat with and clearly takes great pride in his work)

The rooms are spacious and I like the mini living room style set ups I enjoyed my time on the rooftop with views of the city while I worked The location is also great The only thing that could have been better was to get house keeping daily instead of only every three days (as I was only in there for a few days) Will definitely come back when I am in the area again and recommend to people

One of the worst dining experiences of my life Completely empty restaurant on a Wednesday night Main food came 50 minutes after we ordered

Pasta was not warm Steak was like a brick So disappointing The staff seemed like they couldn’t have cared less and were just watching sports on TV Unbelievable level of customer serviceTo make matters worse, I vomited after the meal and my friend broke out in hives I wouldn’t be surprised if our food had been tampered withVery disappointing and I hope the hotel takes steps to remedy this awful service situation

Daustin Kratzer

JL MYIK

I stay here for 3 nights, and the room was big and nice Great location and front desk ppl Yet I asked to have my room cleaned and NOT ONCE was it cleaned

They also have you pay for parking and there was nowhere to park after paying for my whole stay There was $200 deposit for the room, but the room had nothing in there and still haven’t received it back

Kris M.

Quite possibly one of the best hotels/suite hotels I’ve ever stayed in I am a basic *****, so I never use hotel pools/gyms or eat the breakfast provided anyway, so those amenities don’t matter What matters to me is the room itself

Does it make me feel safe? Does it look/smell clean? Am I happy being in the room? This Towneplace Suites hotel gets 10/10, 5 stars across the board in my opinionLocation:1) Ample parking2) Great location Safe, lots of shopping, fast food, restaurants nearby3) Entire hotel smelled and looked clean4) Parking is tucked away behind the building far away from the street, so I felt like my car was safe there while it was parkedRoom:1) I stayed in room 238 queen bed suite The rooms are like mini luxury apartments They are a very good size Large closet, clean modern bathroom, a living room area with a sofa/coffee table, large tv, and kitchenette Very clean room, nothing was stained or anything like that No random hairs anywhere2) Kitchenette: Stove/oven, stainless steel sink with food disposal, stainless steel dishwasher, stainless steel full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, stainless steel microwave3) 4 ceramic large plates, 4 ceramic medium plates, 4 ceramic bowls, 4 drinking glasses, a measuring cup, colander, glass mixing bowl, cutlery, cooking knives, vegetable peeler, measuring spoons, cooking spatula/spoon, pot holders, 2 stainless steel cooking pans, 1 large cooking pot, 1 baking tray, 2 dish towels, mini bottle of dish soap, paper towels are all provided/stocked in your room before checking in Absolutely fantastic to see!5) Large, comfy bed6) All of the staff, from front desk to that security guy who stands outside to housekeeping were all so friendly7) May have been because my room was directly next to the stairwell, but I had a very quiet stay, for the most part There were 2 days in a row when, at 10am, I heard the unmistakable sounds of my hotel neighbor having *cough* relations *cough* So, beware, your bedroom sounds aren’t as muted as you may think Also, the last weekend I was here there was a motorcycle thing going on, so it was a lot of motorcycle revving, loud music, and talking, but noises don’t bother me8) Great temperature control in the room9) Paul Mitchell shower gel/shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, lots of towels provided in the bathroomDislikes:1) $16/day for parking A 2 week stay will run you an extra $2242) Pillows on the bed were too soft for me, but I made it work3) Not a great variety of tv channels Luckily Ridiculousness is practically on repeat on MTV day and night so I was happy!4) Sink in the bathroom drained rather slow from day 1 Wasn’t a big deal, but probably had a lot of hair in the drain5) Housekeeping only once ever 7 days of your stay Personally, I never use housekeeping anyway so that doesn’t bother me, but it might for some, so I figured I’d put it hereI chose this hotel because I am in the process of moving to California My first few weeks here I did the “vacation thing” until getting into a cheaper Airbnb while I look for a job/place to live I chose this place because of the kitchenette Before my move I spent 36 days in a row driving through each of the lower 48 states on a road trip and wanted to do some actual home cooking for onceHotels in Los Angeles are expensive, that’s a fact This is a suite hotel, so the rooms are going to be more expensive than most places, but it’s so worth it This hotel was one of the cheaper options on hotelscom (a big reason why I chose it, too) but it doesn’t show it (if that makes sense) I’m not sure how much more “luxurious” the more expensive suite hotel options are in Los Angeles, but this place, to me, was perfectOn my road trip, I’ve stayed in over 35 cheap hotels/motels This is the kind of hotel room that even without housekeeping/laundry/free breakfast/gym/pool, you just wish you could live there permanently I certainly do

Shiloh Winder

Pretty okEverything about this place, from the lobby to the rooms to the breakfast, is disappointing while meeting minimum standards for functionalityMarriott set a small target and they’ve hit it

This place will do in a pinch, but keep your expectations low

If i could give zero stars I would Do not come here Staff is friendly at first but then switch up on you

We had paid for 7 days and left at 6 because the flight was moved Then the flight was canceled and we figured since we had paid for 7 already and they didn’t refund us the money we would be able to come back Nope not at all Not only did they not refund the money we didn’t even get the room back On top of this the room was not the most cleanly You walk barefoot for 5 seconds and the entire bottom of your foot is covered in dirt Bed sheets were stained Honestly not the best for the price you pay

Masoud Attar

This was by far our worst experience with our stays… The place was very sketchy, employees were not welcoming and very rude as it seems like they are used to people going there and not wanting to check in… I asked them if we could not check in at the time, and they said you can’t and there are not refunds… We booked the place for 4 nights, and only stayed there for one night and got the hell out of that sketchy place and paid the whole penalty… This is located in a very sketchy neighborhood, we heard all sorts of noises at night, including Gun Shots, neighbours loud parties, speedy cars driving by, next door neighbours opening and closing their doors from 1am to 4am, washroom plumbing so loud from neighbours units that every time they flushed their toilets, we woke up and checked if someone was in using our toilet… never felt this unsafe in our life… 2 am in the morning, sketchy people were right outside our door not sure doing what…

Angie Slowinski

Chris was such an amazing host! We landed much earlier than anticipated but when I called and asked Chris for a possible earlier check in he responded with: “Whenever you’re ready to head down here I’ve got something ready for you guys Upon arriving Chris was polite & willing to help with all questions we had Even gave us a room on the 1st floor like I asked

The room itself was STUNNING compared to the price we paid Bathroom was beautiful, bed was like a cloud We only got to sleep an 1 the first night & 2 the second night but when we woke up we were so well rested Last compliment is for housekeeping, we needed toilet paper, called Chris and he had a worker at our door in SECONDS 10/10 would stay again Highly recommend this place

The room was not terrible I actually was given one of the newly renovated rooms so it actually looked nice TV worked, fridge worked, and the water pressure was decent

The bed was pretty comfortable but, the only thing that I disliked were that my bedsheets were dirty No stains or anything like that but my sheets had some dirt marks and scuffs like maybe they fell outside or something I requested new sheets and I was not given any No harm done because I did not stay for long anyway The floor is just cement and it reminds me of when I visited my uncle in Mexico and not something you would expect in Los AngelesOverall, my stay was good Basically, you get what you pay for so if you want a nicer hotel then stay at a nicer hotel

Laura Morales García

The hotel is pretty big The rooms were really good, they were big and spacious, the beds were really comfortable The room was clean, and they even do the fancy towel folding

The staff was really nice and professional, they were helpful and understanding with everything we asked for The location is nice, it’s a nice neighborhood and generally feels safe, but is pretty far away from tourist attractions, so keep that in mind It’s pretty close to the airport tho

sana M

Stayed there for two nights with my brother and cousin before flying back homeWe found the motel to be much better than the one we chose for our first night upon arriving in LAX Seems like it is new or has been well renovated

All areas (including elevator) were clean and smelled good Room was clean, shower as well and had a good water pressure I didn’t think the area was as rough and unsafe (as some are and as some people noted), there’s a CSV near by as well as other shops you can walk to We booked a room with a fridge which was great (and clean) Didn’t mind the 100$ deposit or the 7$ per night for a safe parking spot After all if you know you’re not going to smoke or trash the room, you know you’ll get your 100$ back (which was back on my account the day we left)

Sorry this review is long but it is a helpful review and hopefully will answer a lot of questions I will book this hotel again for sure While looking for a hotel for our family vacation my husband wanted a Double Tree or Hilton but honestly this being a 3 star hotel, with a Google rating of 4

5 stars, I think I got a better deal here at this Best Western Especially compared to $400 a night Nah we got a way better deal and way better bang for our buck here at the Best Western The rooms were clean and at the price I booked I thought I was just getting 2 beds and a desk, but I actually got a loveseat, and 3 chairs not counting the chair that was with the desk Lamps so I didn’t have to have to have the room super bright I was able to also have it nice and dim Great AC We booked for 3 nights Room service came everyday even though all we needed was the trash taken out and fresh towels everyday I worked at a Hilton was I was younger and we didn’t even ask guest if they needed fresh towels until the 3rd or 4th day Free parking, we even had 2 cars 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby No coffee maker in the rooms though I felt that was ok, because going out of my room to the lobby gets me a couple of steps in Have to have your key car for even the elevator to work, which I honestly appreciate the extra security Some may not like that but I don’t blame hotels having to go through extra measures because of misuse of rooms and reasons for booking A wide variety of breakfast options from yogurt and oatmeal to eggs, burritos, pastries, bagels, cereals, waffles, fresh fruit It was even better then the Hilton I used to work at, and that was a new Hotel when I worked there, had only been open 1 year Very kid friendly hotel, the breakfast room has beautiful decor and ample seating for families Me, my husband and 3 kids, (ages 13, 10, 2), very much enjoyed this hotel and seen other families having a good time too

Had a nice stay here I have to admit the neighborhood looked a little rough when we pulled in, but all the people we met were nice There is only one entrance area with fences everywhere, and they have covered parking

Never had an issue with safetyThere is a taco bell, 7-11, and burger King within walking distance, as well as a gas station There is a food4less and CVS pharmacy around 2 miles awayThe free breakfast was nice, my kids loved the options they had, like cereal, oatmeal, eggs, hashbrowns and pastries They even had a hot chocolate machine, my fav!Rooms were nice and clean The counter in our room had a crack in the side that had collected dirt and looked dingy but not a big deal Just normal wear and tear for a hotel Nice big shower and they gave us orange scented lotions and shampoos Pool was tiny and gets very chilly in the eveningWe drove to Crystal Cove Beach because it was cleaner and more family friendly Took 50 min but worth it Wanted to try the free Getty museum but ran out of time We visited the Old LA Zoo and that was fun Would stay here again for sure

Le Parc had come recommended to me by my brother, who had stayed there several times So glad I took his advice! Located on a quiet street, but within walking distance to some happening spots, this boutique hotel offers friendly and helpful staff, a wonderful art deco vibe reflected in its furniture pieces, and a modern, eclectic array of artwork adorning its walls The rooms were clean and decorated with a designer’s flare

The rooftop saltwater pool and surrounding cozy seating nooks provided a fun way to end the day while sipping a beverage and enjoying the awesome LA weather “I’ll be back!”

Neil Stone

We arrived at the hotel for a three night stay, excited to be in LA for the first time!We were greeted by valet who was polite and informed us of the parking charge per night which we were shocked at ($55 per night)We spoke with Booey (apologies for the spelling) who checked us in and very professionally handled our frustrations regarding the parking chargesWe checked into our suite which was amazing, and would happily call this suite our home

It was very spacious, nicely decorated, had a separate kitchen, seating area, lounge area, balcony, dressing area and dressing room with everything you could needAlthough there was a spacious kitchen area there was no practical way of cooking anything, perhaps this is something that needs to be looked atWe had to request room servicing with 24 hours notice, but the team were able to service our room on the same day which was excellentWe took advantage of the ‘happy hour’ at the roof top bar and the staff were very attentiveWe would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area

John Campbell

My second stay at this oasis and I cannot say enough about this hotel Perfectly located on a quiet residential street yet a 1 block walk to major shopping streets Urth cafe is just around the corner and is a destination unto itself

Every room is a designer suite with living room, kitchenette and bathroom suite Great free coffee in lobby each morning Lovely rooftop bar and pool area Staff are attentive and friendly Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Overall, this is a good place to stay Safety is always a big concern for me because I’m a young, visibly queer woman who travels alone This hotel is definitely a safe place to stay if any of those categories apply to you

This hotel is a short walk away from downtown Burbank, restaurants, a mall, and a movie theater Not to mention it’s only a 10-15 minute drive from Universal If you’re only staying for a few days/going to theme parks, I’d definitely recommend this hotel The room was clean + spacious, and the staff was friendly I was in a 1 bedroom suite and loved the full kitchen + living room spaceAs for negatives, I heard people stomping around in the room above me Luckily it stopped quickly, but I can see it being a problem As other reviewers said, noise can also be an issue since this hotel is right next to a freeway My hotel room faced away from the freeway, so noise wasn’t a huge problem for me as long as the windows were closed The layout of this hotel is a little strange There’s underground and above ground parking available for $18/day The underground parking is a little sketchy at night so I’d recommend sticking with above ground parking

Liliana Stratton

Would not recommend this hotel We had an awful experience here My parents were asked (forced) to switch rooms mid-stay to accommodate a “VIP” client

Despite already being checked in to their room We were lied to, told they’d get a better room but were moved to a worse room with a smaller bed The management was rude and unfriendly I would never stay here again Find another hotel option or an Airbnb! Oh and my daughter got sick after swimming in the disgusting pool Wish I never let her go in it Overall just bad! Nothing good to say sadly

Shaun H

Stayed several times Would get full on 5 stars if:1) at $300+ a night, it should come with room service each day without asking This is not a motel 6

2) total junk toilet paper is provided Again, this is not a budget hotel upgrade to TP that doesn’t stick to your fingers each and every time you use it

Stayed at this TownePlace Suites for 3 nights for leisure Overall, I had an excellent stay The front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy

Rooms felt clean and were very spacious The lobby was bright and spacious, and served as a nice work area The free breakfast was surprisingly good, and it included both hot and cold options One thing to note, though, is that the pull-out sofa bed is not comfortable; the mattress is rather hard Finally, and perhaps this is a Marriott thing, but I wonder why a mobile key can’t just be issued upon completing mobile check-in Overall, though, I had a great stay and would consider this property again Great location near LAX, too

debi karpinski

Upon arriving the lobby is bright, nicely decorated, ample seating for casual discussions and also for work The pool area is very nice with areas to sun bathe as well as areas near the pool with couches and pit areas with an outdoor fireplace The room was clean, spacious and well appointed

The mini kitchen is a plus when traveling and in a location for more than 1 nightStaff was extremely accommodating and extremely friendlyAs a business traveler, I wish this was brand was in all the cities I travel to

This hotel has a little something for everyone They have a beautiful outdoor pool area with access to two full functional grills, next to a lovely fireplace pit The rooms are spacious and very eco friendly, the kitchen has a nice eclectic stove with pans and kitchen wear to make a nice meal and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner

This is the second time staying here and I plan on booking again in the future! The staff is always friendly and the cleaning staff is just wonderful and kind! The first time there was a different variety every other day for breakfast This time unfortunately it was the same stuff everyday and I would rather not warm my frozen food with the plastic on it in a microwave but that seemed to be the only option they have now And the washer/dryer definitely need an update

Other then that it was great as usual Again I want to applaud the GREAT staff!

Gwen

Check in was a breeze, I got there early and it wasn’t a problemThe beds were to low and to soft forThere were several outlets near the bed which is a plus due to medical equipmentThis hotel is near the freeway and close to several restaurants

There were too many compact parking spaces which is minor but can be inconvenient if coming in late and you have to walk around the building by yourselfI didn’t eat breakfast I only seen pork products however I did like the fact that it was individually wrapped There were bagels and other stuff but we passedEveryone that I came in contact with was very nice and helpful Even though the bed wasn’t for me but the location is everything I would stay again

Ben C

Great for a short stayFrom bad to good

The bad 1) Our air didn’t work Hot or cold 2) Our room was not serviced or cleaned I’m not sure if we had to request this But most hotels (even small motels) do this automaticallyNot a deal breaker but worth noting 1) Small continental breakfast 2) Bad location for the TV It was in the middle of where the bed was and the couch was So bad angle and hurts your neck after a whileGood 1) The beds were extremely comfortable 2) Staff was nice and courteous 3) Good hotel location 4) Fair pricing 5) Pretty quiet for a hotel so close to the airport 6) Air purifier in the room adds a nice touch 7) Desk was perfect to get some work done

We took a random trip to LA for the day, and it was supposed to be for a night We loved this stay so much we stayed and extra 3 days lol But the staff was nice, breakfast was amazing and had plenty of options

Beds super comfy I HIGHLY recommend this place The only issue I had was the pool because it wasn’t very clean, but no one really uses that Overall I loved it

Exceeded expectations We booked the hotel for a family vacation and based on previous reviews had relatively low expectations However the staff was very friendly, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and amenities were good

We didn’t have much time to use the pool and the outdoor facilities but they were more than adequate, clean and enjoyable The breakfast was much better than indicated by the reviews The packaged quiche, frittata, and bagels were actually pretty good It saved us a significant amount of money by feeding the kids breakfast at the hotel rather than spending time and money on takeout or sit down somewhere else Convenient location Would definitely recommend

Dad was in town and had a 2 Queen Larger Studio room reserved here, and it wasn’t the best experienceUpon arriving at the room, noticed it was an accessible room, which is not great if not needed, as everything is lowered by design, so mirrors don’t align when standing, sinks are lower, hand rails everywhere (and taking up space in the shower) etc It’s great these rooms are offered for those who need them, but they aren’t great for those who don’t

This was not what was booked and there was no mention of it at check-in After calling down to the front desk, the rather unhelpful staff said they were all booked up, nothing they could do, and refused to make any concession with regard to rate, parking fees ($18 per night for parking btw) or anything Just pretty much said “sorry, can’t help you, we’re full” Strangely we didn’t run into a single person in the hall to or from the elevator over 3 nightsThe room itself is nice enough, though the couch is incredibly stiff so not great for lounging for any length of time Nice to have a working mini-fridge and microwave, and the TV was on a nice swivel mount so you could tilt to either side of the room if you were watching from either the couch or a bed AC unit made some additional noise too, but probably not the case in all roomsThe pool area looks nice (didn’t use it), and they have a small fitness center and laundry area ($3 for wash, $3 for dry), though we didn’t use eitherThere’s supposed to be a bar and a restaurant but it didn’t look like either appeared to be open at any point over the weekend, so not sure what’s up there Lobby bars are a great addition to any hotel, and they have one there, but it was dark and not staffed There is a small convenience area where you can buy some beer, wine, soda, snacks, etc if you want, and it appeared to be open at all times, as it’s next to check-in deskLocation is walkable to a lot of downtown Burbank, and easy to get to and from the 5 freeway, so I would say it’s convenientOverall a fine stay, just a bit disappointing with regard to the service (or lack thereof) and the room being a bit less than maybe what the pictures would indicate

Customer service at Burbank location is terrible I called the front desk from my room and it took forever to get a hold of someone Once they answer they put you on hold or tell you they will call your room back in a few minutes

I believe this is very unprofessional specially if you are a guest Very rude front desk staff They have the biggest attitudes They are also short staffed and just the wrong people working in my opinion Housekeeping is terrible as well I really wasn’t so happy with this place and the service they provided for me Rooms are good and cozy but I had a issue with my bed their was black hairs all over the pillows and sheets I guess from a previous guest that had stayed or maybe housekeeping didn’t do their job correctly to make sure everything is spotless I believe cleanliness is important Also a few blood stains on the blankets as well Pool hours are from 8am until 10pm and during my stay people were still swimming past pool hours kids yelling and shouting in the pool and it’s 10:40pm so basically past the hours of the pool I called the front desk to let them know it’s disturbing and pretty loud since I can hear it from the 4th floor Luckily they had everyone leave after my phone call I just would say this place is okay not the best but just wanted to point out some of the things that bothered me during my stay here

My ratings before were 5 stars but this last time I was very disappointed 😞 We were asked to try to check in later cause rooms weren’t available due to cleaning so we did when we get there almost 4 or 5 hrs later rooms for access ♿ were taken, so we get a regular room

No double door lock like the others, no toiletries, no running sink water and yet it was more expensive WHAT!It was very late and very tired 😩😴 to keep looking for a different one

Was not at all what the pictures portrayed It was outdated mismatched furniture The bed was comfortable

The walls had markings all over as if a child drew on them TV remote didn’t work Dust and cob webs Was very disappointed with the money I spent for what I got It was not as advertised in the pics Plus I asked for a king room and I got a room with two double beds AC worked great
