Ron O’Keefe

Great location, 20 minutes from Mass General Hospital The hotel is fairly new The staff is friendly, hard working keeping the hotel clean

They have a nice little bar with a great selection of beer, wine and spirits Plenty of places to eat in the area and a few within walking distance The hotel is right off the highway Great spot right outside the city

Freda Driscoll-Sbar

This hotel exceeded my expectations The room was enormous, clean and very comfortable The bathroom was very modern

It has a shower with a sliding (barn type) glass door In addition to the very comfortable king bed there was a chase, desk and cushioned chair and large flat screen in the room Off the beaten path location ,25 minutes from Boston But for 167 including breakfast it very much beat the $800 and over price of a hotel room in Boston

Jamie Lynn

Nice building and facilities But breakfast was dismal They ran out of everything but bread our first morning

So many were upset and complaining/ refused to bring out more food! And no manager on duty until 3:00 pm The next day they had more things but out of waffle batter Refused to make more Wee fed up eating off site the rest of the week We also found hair on two “clean” towels This hotel stay was a huge disappointment Until it is better managed- do not recommend to stay here- esp if you want a decent breakfast

AA

The place itself is nice, however, the staff were quite frankly rudeI understand it is difficult to find workers but these people obviously do not care about their work The manager seemed quite nice, but every other front desk member seemed to be on edge for some reason

The place also does not smell good I noticed that the minute I turned off their obnoxious fanFor the price you pay, even as a Titanium Elite member, this place is a ripoff You would be better off staying in a much nicer hotel in the charles, which is in a better area on top of it

Benjamin Kirkup

The Commander is an institution, caringly renovated It isn’t lush or overdone, but offers good taste and modesty, homely comfort If you ignore the Marriott overlay of a phone tree and instead get the front desk, they are helpful and hospitable

Wonderful location, often guests enjoying conversation on the patio or in the lobby until late

David Marshall

The hotel is located in a great location that is walking distance to campus and the surrounding area However, interior hasn’t been updated since the 80’s The rooms are small

The staff seem put off when you asked them questions The hotel restaurant was expensive and average If you can stay somewhere that is a better bang for your buck, I would

Gaurab Bhattacharjee

Great location Great skyline views Nice spacious rooms

Nice dining optionsReception staff wasn’t too friendly (Asked me to give it a 10 star review, as he supposedly did me a favor by upgrading me, although with my status, am eligible for free upgrades)Amenities in the room were limited No body wash Limited towels

Denzel Hankinson

Not good for international arrivals No room service after midnight and also no food delivery services anywhere nearby It might be an appealing choice if you are coming in late, but given that (despite it’s proximity to the airport) you have to take a shuttle to get there, you are better off going into the city

Otherwise it is a standard, clean, airport hotel, but definitely not worth the location-specific monopoly prices they charge

When I read other reviews that said the staff makes you feel like family, I couldn’t really believe it until I experienced it for myself You do feel completely at home at this hotel It is clean and if anything isn’t perfect for you- just ask and the staff will quickly bend over backwards to help

The manager even offered to order special vegan breakfast items for us (not necessary- there was plenty and she even printed the ingredients for us) We wished we had more time to use the basketball court and pool, but took advantage of the outdoor dining area daily The room was very comfortable and ideal for a longer stay or to have folks over for a visit They even provide paper towels and dish soap- which I did not expect Will visit again

Sweet Kitty

The hotel is old, but is well maintainedThe receptionist Christine is sooooooo friendly, helpful and welcoming It seemed she was very happy about serving the guests and about her job

She is one of the highlights of the hotelAnother highlight is the breakfast buffet There were various of choices available everyday, from bacon, ham, eggs, fried potatoes, to cereals, resins milk, juices, yogurt, donuts, toasts, to teas, coffee, muffins, fruits, etc you will be satisfiedThere was self- laundry available You may purchase the detergent if you don’t bring it with you The coins were available at the reception for exchangeWe stayed at a king suite It was clean and well equipped The kitchen is a full kitchen with a full size fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher, stove, paper towels, detergent, kitchen towel, etcThe quality of shampoo and soap was very good Or say, much better than those in other 3-star hotelIt was easy to find a variety of restaurants in walking distance or within 5 minutes drive And there is a small shopping mall just across the streetA wonderful place to stay

Visiting from Temecula California for a work trip Rooms are clean and quiet The people working the front desk super friendly and Jackie at the bar make an excellent Cesar salad

The location is sort of an island as you can’t walk to any restaurant’s from here You’ll need a ride to get to anything I would look forward to staying again if I return to area

LaDale Walker

I thought that breakfast was included, but it’s Starbucks a la carte Also, the TV goes out in the rain I basically had a blue screen with “no signal” written across it while it rained for over an hour

Not worth the money and the location is kind of secluded For the price, you can pay to stay at another Marriott with better amenities

This place was perfect for our one week stay in the Boston area Very convenient to highways Location was perfect

Lots of restaurants and nearby groceries Our unit was exceptionally clean It was like our own little apartment! We used the kitchen extensively and it was well equipped Breakfast was included and it was good! Staff was great Room was well insulated from any outside noise Bed very comfy Living room very comfortable Highly recommended!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS I WOULD I used to love going to the hotel but last night/this morning was the worst I have ever been treated First I called to make sure when checkout would be if I checked in at 3am(Thursday technically) because we just got back from a 9 Hr drive so we were exhausted

Jeffery answered the phone and I’m not sure if I interrupted his nap or something but he was very rude and dismissive and told me to come in and said check out would be Friday When I got there I again asked him to confirm would I only be charged one night and when would check out be he assured me it would be one nights charge and check out would be for Friday I swiped my card he said it did not go through when in fact it did He told me to swipe another card because on his end it did not go through when I did he charged me 4 times what was supposed to be charged When I asked him why he had no idea and told me to check with managers in the morning Then he had to open the room for us because he did not give us a room key!! When leaving our room we have to keep the room open because we had no way of getting back in if the door closed THE ROOM WAS DISGUSTING!! I woke up after 5 hours of sleep to be then told by the manager that I was being charged two nights at the wrong rate I have never had this treatment here before when other managers were in charged I am a TITANIUM ELITE MEMBER YOU WOULD THINK STAFF WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE WELL INFORMED OR EVEN COURTEOUS TO GIVE US A DIFFERENT ROOM THAT I PAID QUADRUPLE FOR 5HOURS OF SLEEP!!

Alexus Moniz

Check in is at 3:00 we arrived at 4:30 and had to wait because our room was not ready Finally when we got to our room not only was it not what we paid for but it was not clean up to standard The Queen studios are advertised with a shower/tub and the front desk manager told us the studios only have a standing shower

Not to mention the sheets were stained, and there was hair all over the bathroom floor and shower Never booking this place again

THE WORSE HOTEL EVER! checking in was decent then I walked in my room the floor wasn’t vacuumed well

The bedding is dirty I asked for bedding from a guy named Chris he sighed saying he’ll have ti walk downstairs to get me bedding umm okay that’s your job then I go to use the microwave and it doesn’t work He wouldn’t offer me a refund or get me a new microwave I’ll never stay here again

Samantha Turnbull

I have no clue how this hotel has so many positive reviews To begin, our room has an odd smell to it Secondly, the Internet doesn’t work at all in the room

The computer and phone won’t connect Third, there is no fan in the bathroom Fourth, the cleanliness of the room was questionable This hotel doesn’t look like it’s been touched in the past 10 years And lastly, this hotel promised room service for cleaning every other day We stayed 3 days and never once had our room cleaned We had to go down to the lobby to get more towels, soap, etc and just got excuses about why our room wasn’t cleaned If there is a staffing shortage, then the hotel shouldn’t be taking guests to full capacity Terrible costumer service! Not worth the money at all!

We really enjoyed the Bricco Suites experience Instead of a hotel in Boston’s Italian North End, this is an intimate place to stay with more space than you might imagine While the staff was a little new at checking people into a hotel room (they were more used to serving people in their restaurant below) they were charming and kind

If you’re looking for a place deep in the heart of Boston mear the action, this is an unusual option that feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel It’s got a lot of space, a little kitchen, a dining room and a fireplace The downside it’s overlooking Hanover Street and it has a thumping restaurant and music bar down below So noise can be an issue up until the wee hours I give it an A for location And an A- for experience

Christopher B

I will start by saying that the rooms themselves look really good and the service from staff was great However, check in is inside the incredibly busy Bricco restaurant so we were queued in a narrow hallway waiting to get into a cramped restaurant to get room keys for about ten minutes with our bags As for the room, everything was good until it was late and the other guests arrived

All late night and early morning long we could hear the upstairs guests stomping back and forth This was on top of the fact that we were placed directly next to an alleyway that was super busy in the early morning – people throwing out trash in the dumpsters, trucks backing up and then getting loaded, and lots of people working loudly It was the worst sleep I ever had at a hotel

Adam S

Nice rooms Would stay again Not a traditional check-in, hotel operates via the restaurant, down an adjacent alley to the rooms

Adjacent to the pasta and bread places that make the stuff for the restaurantNo parkingAlong the Freedom trail for a walk-In the heart of the Italian district, close to the old Irish pubs-Walkable to the Bruins/Celtics

I couldn’t have been more pleased with everything at this hotel I was even happy to pay the astonishing $53 for parking! The service – Stellar! We called ahead to make sure our room was available as we were coming up on 8hrs in the car The front desk staff told us not to worry, that they’d fully take care of us, all we needed to do was to relax and get there

They were so warm and helpful when we walked in Love that the staff, from the front desk to the bartenders to the maintenance folks, we’re all wearing smiles and ready to joke around with our kids! The location – can’t beat it!The premises – spotless and inviting! The room – smelled nice, super clean, inviting and just the right temp!Kudos to all of you The owners and management should be proud Our stay in Boston was made perfect due to you all

Amazing hotel Good views, the street isn’t too busy and has accessibility to most of the touristy places around Boston Rooms are spacious, clean and well designed

The hotel has good lobby to just chill and the staff is amazing Would recommend visitors and business travelers to stay here(Ask the hotel for a nearby car parking garage for 20% discount code)

Cassie Ponder

My boyfriend & I stayed here right after the Celtics game & it was fabulous! Great location next to North Station & across the street from Tavern in the Square The room was very clean & a chic modern style Tony at reception truly made our stay worthwhile

He is so friendly & personable with a great sense of humor Everything was wonderful during our stay, but the great customer service & friendliness gives an at home feel Needless to say, we will be coming back!

Nice room with all of the typical amenities They truly appreciate Bonvoy status with multiple helpful perks Breakfast is yummy! Drinks were good

All the staff were friendly and helpful! (Used points to book the room on a holiday/graduation weekend otherwise might not feel so blessed) Room costs much more affordable for the next day if we were staying

JoAnne Rice

Beautiful hotel and every staff member encountered were wonderful and kind It is pricy but you get what you pay for as they say The rooms were clean and well decorated

As other posters have mentioned there’s no parking The garage is less then 500ft away I did take off a star due to ice machines being down and there is no clear menus for the restaurant and its unclear where it even is located

Johannes Krokeide Kolberg

Fairly well-maintained compared to most alternatives, and decent value for the area The restaurant was surprisingly goodMinus for front desk personnel having to get manager approval for the simplest things — but to its credit, the hotel properly followed up on that feedback

The hotel itself is very accommodating having the sports bar connected to the lobby and the location right off the highway I’ve stayed here twice and been on the fourth floor once in a King executive and twice in a suite The suite is amazing, clean, comfortable I never wanna leave the room when I’m there

The hotel is bright and relaxing Only noise I heard was the doors slamming shut from other rooms Other then that the rooms were very quiet and that was the reason for our stay, needed a quiet mental break We did have some issues with a reservation I made via phone and being put in the wrong room which caused me some frustration but the staff did eventually take care of the problem and were apologetic and accommodating Tyler at the front desk was very helpful and nice Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean quiet place to escape that’s local or a place to stay while in town!

Tasha Kates

Crowne Plaza gets the big things right — clean rooms, free parking, nice pool and gym area, lovely front desk staff, great climate control and a good restaurant attached However, they are not good at the little stuff It’s like they took all of the information out of the rooms during COVID and never put it back

There were no channel listings on paper or digitally The cable offering is anemic for children Housekeeping didn’t come once during our four night stay, and the front desk somehow expected I would know to put a load of towels outside our room and call them to have housekeeping come and hand me new towels directly Apparently daily housekeeping will resume today, which is nice, but I thought they would come once during our stay We also booked a room for four that was set up for two or three — three bath towels, two plastic cups, two coffee cups They used to have vending, but now they have an extremely overpriced Marketplace next to the front deskI’m only docking them one star because the overall stay is great, if you can overlook the minor stuff that you would encounter in your hotel stay

Eric Wannemacher

The room was clean and comfortable The bed and pillows allowed me to sleep soundly The air conditioner kept the room extremely comfortable and was quiet enough that it did not disturb my sleep

The included breakfast was a continental style but the food tasted as though it was made from scratch; there is a restaurant on site Room service only checked first thing in the morning; if you’re a late sleeper, your room won’t be serviced Would definitely return!

We ended up staying at this hotel a few days while our apartment was being fixed, the stress levels were out of this world Everyone was so nice and accommodating that it eventually felt like a mini staycation! They were all so great with my little one, tooRooms are decent, clean

Breakfast was always so good! I’d definitely stay again if anything were to ever happen

I stayed at this hotel recently for a family member’s funeral Jeanette, the General Manager, truly went above and beyond to make me and my family members comfortable She was friendly and helpful, allowing some of us to check in early and unload our luggage

She also accommodated room location requests, remembered names and room numbers, and made sure Marriott Bonvoy points were allocated correctly Regarding the hotel itself, it was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent The hotel is also in a great location, convenient to the highway and restaurants I highly recommend this hotel!

Pool was closed but not disclosed to us at booking They should have that posted on their website Some of the staff couldn’t communicate with us which can be frustrating if they were your only option as sometimes it was not easy tracking someone down

Called down to request towels and never received any My wife went and asked for some to be told they ran out and it would be a half hour Then she went back to the front desk a half hour later and waited there between 5 and 10 minutes and nobody showed up to the front desk where someone should always be She had to go find the employee (manager) He was sitting in the office doing nothing Water got ice cold mid shower the morning I was leaving The lady checking out before me said the same thing to the manager and he argued with her that there was in fact hot water She literally checked out to go to another hotel so she could shower and her kid could swim in the pool They were not told it was closed either I got my receipt after leaving stating there was a zero balance left and now my card got charged 2 days after we checked out And conveniently nobody is answering the phone now NEVER AGAIN will we stay in a Fairfield Inn I want my money back to be honest Was not what they advertised!

This hotel has all of the amenities one might expect, including an indoor pool surrounded by overlooking balconies in a glass-covered pavilion There is even a charming room near the door with a fireplace and comfortable cozy seating Everything was clean and the service was fine

My only complaint is that the lady at the desk was dressed in gaudy sports team attire rather than a hotel uniform It made it difficult to distinguish her from guests and as she was the face of the hotel upon entering, set a strange tone for the ambiance of the hotel Despite her appearance, her service was excellent She even called me to let me know when my room was available for early check-in I was also glad that masks weren’t enforced I didn’t need it, but when I turned on the television to try to Chromecast to it, it was tuned to static It might be great to have it tuned to some transmission

I really liked this place! It was so nice and the staff was so friendly I needed to travel with my golden retriever, which can be stressful sometimes when so many hotels don’t allow dogs (or when the ones that do end up being dirty) It was not stressful at all and my room was very clean :)My favorite place about this hotel though, is the white noise option they have next to the bed

I usually need a fan or something similar to make noise when I fall asleep and this knocked me out 10/10 sleepBreakfast buffet was also amazing Fresh order omelettes and bacon were so yummyWill definitely recommend

I had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Boston/Woburn Due to the weather, we booked a room for the weekend that was in close proximity to my job ( essential employee) Laura at the front desk was delightful and eager to help! She was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check out later Thank you! Overall, my family and I had a great experience and the amenities were great

The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect I will recommend it to my colleagues!

Nice and clean hotel with good central location in downtown Boston Currently it seems with pandemic modifications they have essentially no amenities (no valet, no dinner, no bar, opt in house keeping) so you aren’t getting anything for the high price of a downtown hotel Staff was a bit standoff-ish

Hotel definitely needs some surface updates as well

The pictures are deceiving The room is extremely small with barely enough room to even walk around We had a deluxe and there was no sitting area and only had one very small window

All the walls are grey and it feels like you’re in a closet Its very darkThe furniture is modern but looks like it was picked up at a garage sale The bed 2as on one box so very low to the ground and the mattress dipped in the middle The hardware and lock on the bathroom door was falling off This hotel is probably fine for one person, very young people but I’m 50 and it made for a very unhappy stay The best thing about this hotel is the staff are wonderful, location is good and restaurant food was good So, if you don’t mind feeling like your in a closet then you’ll be fine

Let me start with the good news: The Boxer’s staff is lovely, and breakfast is great The problem is value for money – or lack thereof We found ourselves paying close to $700 for a midget room after our flight was cancelled late on May 28

When we entered room #303, we were taken aback by its miniscule size I immediately called downstairs to see if we had mistakenly been directed to a more economical, one-person room Nope No mistake; this was the supposed double Tiny bed, one towel, and very little maneuvering room It was a tiny single that was misleadingly sold as a double I’ve written the Boxer several times to complain No response I’ve stayed in some very nice hotels for business and never paid $700 a night This was a shocker

I don’t really mind slow check-in when the machine isn’t working or the staff is being trained, but they really need to put friendlier people to greet guests The guy in reception was like a Russian military dude, not someone you want to see after a long travel day and ready to relaxRoom was clean but the interior is so outdated and weird color (red/maroon/plum???)Check out is 11am…so why do they need to bang on the door and wake people up at 9am…again, it was like a military boot camp!

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel for 4 nights When we were looking at it it said housekeeping daily We stayed the first two night and nothing happened so I went to the front desk to question them

I was told after 3 nights they’ll do it We are now on our 4th night and still no housekeeping There was also stains on the couch and the bathroom wasnt very clean Very displeased with the service provided and definitely not worth the money we spent to stay here

Taylor Burt

We stayed here for 4 nights and were told there would be housekeeping everyday After the first two nights we asked why we still hadn’t received new bedding and towels and were told you have to stay at least 3 nights in order to get that So we asked if we could have it done the following day after our third night

We came home to find no new bedding, towels or refills on the coffeeWe are very disappointed in the service and will not be staying here again

When you first walk into any establishment everyone’s expectations are to be greeted with a smile and a pleasant tone It is the most important part of a customer journey We want to walk in and feel recognized, attended to, and most importantly welcomed

That was not the case with my check in or my overall experience This was not the case when I arrived Very dry Front desk staff did give me an introduction to the hotel or let me know what amenities that were available The front desk is the first people a guest sees when entering and the last to see when leaving The front desk can make or break a person experienceThen when I entered my room, I did a complete check Got ready for bed and noticed I had a dirty towel I notified the front desk and was told they would make sure I get new towels Well that never happened When I returned the dirty towel was still in my room and I had to walk back down to request fresh towels Having a dirty towel in a room that was supposed to be cleaned is very concerning

Newer hotel with many amenities and friendly faces The Homewood Suites is also attached to the Hampton Inn and they share most spaces but give travelers the options between typical studio rooms and suite style rooms as well The hotel was very new, updated, and clean which are all big deals for the individuals who traveled in our party

We were in town for the Boston Marathon and while the hotel was busy, it was still relatively quite The only issue we found during our stay was how busy the breakfast area was At the time we stayed, there was only one breakfast area opened for both hotels which caused a lot of crowding in the breakfast area After talking to some of the staff, we were informed that there are two different breakfast areas but were unable to have both opened due to staffing issues However, from check in to check out we were beyond pleased with our stay Special shout out to Rebecca at the front desk who checked us in and was super helpful and friendly The gym/fitness center was well stocked with everything someone would need for a quick workout Plenty of parking around the hotel and decent/safe location if someone is looking to run in the neighborhoods around the hotel Plenty of shopping and dining options within a short drive of the hotel and quick on/off highway access to Boston and surrounding areas Would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the Boston area

The whole experience, from the clean rooms, the expedient staff to even the amenities was exactly what you expect out of a premium brand like Hilton, yet here the staff went above and beyond when I had issues getting an Uber Jason and Bill jumped into action and extended their help to help get me to the airport Highly appreciate their amazing customer service
