This is an updated review for clarityRooms need updated power options USB hubs or multi port outlets near bed would be very helpful

I had to unplug both lamps near bedside to free up plugs to plug in all my devicesBreakfast is fine but never changes Would be nice to have greater variety in the hot selectionsBed is very comfortableShower has great pressureDecor is nice and overall relaxingOverall it’s not bad but would be nicer if they update a few things

We had a room on the 2nd floor and the spotlights flooded our room at night, it was so bright at night that I couldn’t sleep the first couple nights We couldn’t change rooms as the hotel was full Finally had to order an eye mask to be delivered the same day via Amazon, slept better

The mattresses are old, they’re due for replacement The breakfast food was great, lots of good options Customer service was great Overall, an OK stay

First off, this was one of the cleanest hotels I have been in recently That alone makes it a good choice We didn’t arrive until almost midnight and the staff were very friendly and accommodating

The staff the next morning we’re also helpful and friendly Thank you for a pleasant breakfast Their free breakfast is a real breakfast, eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, bagels, cereal, juices, milks, etc Here are my three complaints First, curtains are not blackout Arriving at midnight we were hoping to sleep in The curtains allow way to much light through Not a deal breaker most of the time Second, no USB ports, regular plugs are not easily accessible next to both sides of the beds This is just one of those things hotel management has to update It’s necessary for most guests Third, if you need privacy for changing clothes, this is not the hotel to stay in Our room was huge But the layout was terrible I loved that the toilet and tub were behind a closed door while the sink and counter were not This allows a guest to brush teeth, curl hair, put on makeup, etc while someone is showering or using the toilet However, the bathroom was so tiny the door missed the toilet seat by a few centimeters There was nowhere to put clean clothing or anything else while showering My husband and I were here with two teen daughters and our nine year old son Trying to shower and dress in a room so small with no shelving was extremely frustrating We couldn’t exit the bathroom to dress because obviously our teen daughters shouldn’t see their dad undressed A nine year old boy shouldn’t see his mother undressed Nor should he see his teen sisters undressed This is a deal breaker for us in the future There was so much unused space in the area of the room where the couch was that these rooms should have been designed differently We cannot stay here again with children/teens because it just doesn’t work for dressing privacy I know the staff and even local management can’t resolve this It’s too bad because this hotel has a great staff doing a great job

Rooms were clean, hallways smelled and the floors were dirty Nice breakfast options However was looking forward to sleeping in on this vacation but the air conditioning which is right next to the bed is obnoxiously loud

It seriously sounds like a generator running right next to the bed Already paid for 3 more nights here and am preparing myself not to get any good sleep

Alex Pozniak

Had to ask multiple times to have my room cleaned When they finally got there all they did was fix the bed (kinda) Showers are so tiny you can hardly move

Pull out mattress and couch were stained and gross, and the indoor “heated” pool is hardly heated To add insult to injury, I mentioned all this to the GM of the property who could careless about my complaints Spend your money some place else

This hotel was ok, but not quite up to the standards I expect for a holiday inn express The walls are thin, you can hear road noise as well as conversations in rooms nearby The room itself was a nice size, with comfy beds and plenty of pillows

The bathroom wasn’t quite as clean as I would prefer There were dark hairs in the shower/tub as well as on the floor The breakfast was lackluster, but I settled for cereal and called it enough The front desk gal was very helpful, and the shuttle driver was nice

Kelli Hamilton

The building is brand new, but already looking aged Seems like maybe the original build was not the best Our toilet paper holder was already separating from the wall and there was edging missing on the bathroom cabinets

The dining area smelled strongly of mold, so much so that I couldn’t sit there to eat I likely wouldn’t stay there again

P M

Nice clean place On check in very nice people Next morning go with a friend out there is a car in the hands capped parking in between my car and the next car all with the hands capped plates

Complained to front desk The lady running the front desk said it was her car because she always parks in the hands capped places because she can’t find parking Very rude of her told her that it was and very much blamed it because she couldn’t find parking That parking is not for employees She thought it was hers and botched because she was off in a half hour she will move it then Rude front staff Was a Woman that was doing this because she couldn’t find parking How rude !!!!!!

We switched rooms after a breaker blew 1/2 the lights, the microwave & the fridge in the first room

that had to be rekeyed every time we left And was missing the shower curtain liner and a soap dish and had the thermostat set at 63! Bonus food left behind in the fridge by a previous occupantRoom 2 was smaller No critical failures or missing items Beds were comfortable and clean in both rooms Bathrooms were fineNo housekeeping was provided during our stay So trash got pretty fullFridge was cold Microwave too small for popcornThey have nice quality shampoo/soapThe pool/exercise room were well maintained and have generous hoursAll in all, the staff was great The building needs some updating/maintenance

Mike Hintz

Got in really late and was immediately told that our room was likely gone, after already paying online Night Manager was incredibly rude Also had someone on a cot (that we brought) and asked for a blanket

Was told they don’t have any in a hotel ridiculous! Also, the TV didn’t work and the shower was clogged Stay away! Or at an express

Eric

First off, it doesn’t look near as nice as the website makes it look When I arrived and went to my room I immediately turned the air down to 66 which is what I usually keep it on It never got below

71, so I called the front desk The front desk gentleman was happy to give me another room where the air conditioner worked fine Then I was annoyed by a street hockey match that was going on in the hallway of the floor above me from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm That’s not the hotel’s fault, but they did nothing to remedy it either Overall three stars, but I would try another hotel before I ever return to this one

We were flying out of O’Hare, so we picked this hotel because they offered sleep and park ($10) a day parking The hotel was good the staff was friendly & helpful The only problem we had was that the first shuttle that left for O’Hare was 7:00am problem if you had a 7:30 flight like we did

The staff was helpful in setting up for taxi service, but the taxi Co could not fill the order for a 4:30am pick up we started getting texts at 3:45am to this affect, I don’t blame the staff they have no control over this I will admit I did not check what time the shuttles started for the airport my fault The last time we did this the hotel we stayed at it ran a shuttle 24 hrs to the airport Had to drive not a big deal 10 min to lot G at the airport I gave 3 stars because of the shuttle service

Angela Carter

CAR WAS VIOLATED!!! Parked 2/11 and returned Sunday 2/20 Started the car and it sounded like a Harley motorcycle!! Engine light also on — able to drive 17 mph and to the closest dealership Found out the catalytic converter was STOLEN! I parked in front of the hotel and under a light

Hotel not stepping up, state’s signed a waiver so not responsible But in order to stay and park you had to sign! Room clean, bed comfy Bathroom not so nice, nice to see but toilet and shower needs work

Nia Pu’e

The driver Ed for the shuttle was so professional, extremely welcoming, and kept us laughing It was just all smiles the whole ride! Not just that, I also noticed him taking care of the shuttle bus Cleaning it on his spare time

All around great employee you guys have there Will definitely stay again at this hotel when I’m back in Illinois

Hector the Manager- bartender of the resuraunt was very friendly and kind He went the extra mile to make sure we had all we needed Toni at the main desk was amazing as well

She took time to talk and offered some ideas about what to see in the area She also helped fix a small problem and offered a breakfast for the inconvenience (Musty smell – spray nutralizer- nice conversation after the problem was remedied) There are others who have made the time here great Unfortunately I can’t remember all of their namesThe location is walkabile to the mall and a short lyft to the park See the elk across from the Chevy dealership if you like animals In the evening they came very close Enjoy the shops and close proximity to food if you you preferThis location caters and helps if you ask They go the extra mile I recommend the Courtyard by Marriott here

I had a wonderful experience at Eaglewood Resort The amenities at the spa were wonderful and I had excellent stone message I highly recommend it

But know there is other fun things to do on the resort’s campus If you play golf, from Spring through fall you will enjoy their beautiful golf course The food is delicious; the service personnel are kind, considerate and friendlyI’m going again during the spring summer or fall because the landscape is gorgeous Go and have a chill out Eaglewood is a place to chill

Chris Lucas

Great place to stay! The only reason for four stars on the room is that we thought we were getting a view of the golf course not the parking lot Otherwise, the staff were great and the whole resort is beautiful We were close to everything that we wanted to do, while still having the feeling of being in the country! I would very much recommend a stay here!

Laura Nguyen

Booked a entire week here and very pleased with my stay Ever since Covid started we continue to travel at least 9 different states During those 9 trips we had to be extremely picky where we book our stay just you want to stay somewhere you know for a fact will be clean

Our usually booking have been through Airbnb which has been a failed We are talking about even around $500 a night for a house or condo you expect it to be clean and that hasn’t been at all for us We seem to still get very nice properties that end up still being dirty Clean to the eye , but not deep clean So we started looking into resorts and very pleased with my experience here With kids and the more money you spend for the best should be clean not just looks clean Anyways this resort exceed my expectations from the comfort of the bed to replacing new towels to calling down stars for a coffee machine They take care of you on the spot Hubby booked here for the golf and the kids had a great time at the playground and pool The view of the golf ground on our balcony was breathtaking every morning The family had a great time here and since being here for a week due to my surgery it just made it comfortable overall Again Very thankful for giving me a worry free experience about how clean our stay was Worth the value and definitely come back in the near future!

It was a 3 star hotel,so everything was spacious After we checked in, we went out and returned around 10pm ready to turn in

My son while using the rest room found the flush is kind of struck Once flushed u need to wait for another 10 min before water gets filled While trying to call front desk found that extension is not working at all We were offered another room in the same floor, but it was not fun doing all shifting so late in the night Basic need to be verified and maintained, else what is the point of paying extra bugs for a 3 star hotel?

Victoria Gonzalez

Everything is wrong with this hotel, the owner needs to step it up and start spending funds where they need to be spent, the hot tub hasn’t worked for months according to the reviews online I wasn’t expecting hot tub to still be broken 4 months later The beds are horrific, uncomfortable, cheap, wouldn’t want to ever experience metal Springs in my back again/ hip and back pain I’m sure the owner has a nice memory foam mattress at home, while the customers are sleeping on garbage

Almost $200 a night for a bed that you can’t even sleep comfortably on is ridiculous and unethical Someone really needs to come into this hotel and do some type of wellness check maybe even contact the Better Business Bureau The breakfast eggs are synthetic and the sausage is so soggy greasy horribly textured and unedible Food in general was terrible The Only Thing Worth eating were the waffles and cereal Upon arrival of the breakfast in the morning no syrup no waffle mix, cereal containers were almost empty Not enough variety of healthy fruits and yogurts No towels were available in the gym or the pool area We had to call several times during our stay because they would bring 3-4 towels at a time, stop being irresponsible and take care of your guests Also Gym was dirty, the water dispenser is broken does not dispense cold water and is leaking dirty moldy water all over the floor After booking a handicap disabled room and made the staff aware I have a service dog for my disabilities my service dog was checked-in by a “manager” At check-out we were questioned regarding my dog and I showed registered service dog ID again, I felt an explanation was ridiculous upon checkout And the girl who checked us out complained about the manager, owner and staff which was pretty unprofessional This would be a beautiful hotel if the owner wasn’t cheap and gave attention to detail So many rips and tears in the hallway carpet they patched it up and did a terrible job Public washrooms need near the pool needed serious detailing very dirty Not a very pleasant birthday to remember, I had reservations for 2 rooms Reservations over the phone quoted me to queen size beds with a sofa sleeper, we were given to queen size beds in each room no sofa sleeper This weekend was a waste of time and money After writing this Google review hotel management added $100 to my bill 4 days after my stay accusing first my dog and then my children of peeing in the bed, then it went from the bed to it was just pillow that was thrown away had a stain Children are from ages 11 to 12 years old and do not pee in bed I’m pretty sure it was a juice box that spilled Be careful not to spill anything in the rooms or on the bed or you will be charged $100 service fee

Christopher Lee

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elk Grove Village/ItascaIt is conveniently located near I-290, less than 10 minutes from the village center of Elk Grove Village with its restaurants/shopping/library/services It is also a just-under-ten-minute drive north to Woodfield Mall and all kinds of restaurants and shopping in that area

The hotel had nice rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly staff We asked for a room in a quiet area of the hotel and they were very nice about this It was very quiet and I didn’t hear any noise that night or in the morning Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Amazing hotel My fiancée accidentally booked an extremely sketchy hotel, so at 11pm we needed a quick alternative for a one night stay Found this place as one of the cheapest options and it was near our convention center, and we were very pleasantly surprised

The location is beautiful, very private and next to a cute small pond The lobby was very nice, and the front desk person was extremely kind and even gave us freshly baked cookies with our room keys The room was large, comfortable, stylish, and clean This place saved our trip and we would love to stay again!

V O

Currently staying here The staff is very, very nice Absolutely friendly, but the hotel itself is worn down badly

Cobwebs on the ceiling, inside the window in my room Not really clean Beds are comfortable and look clean The location is off everything Seems to be a staff hotel, where companies put in their people I will definitely not stay here again

Evita Rozenberga

Our rate was pretty much cheap for this hotel, but you get what you pay for, I guess Our stay was ok for the single night, but keep in mind that there is a lot of incoming noise from the airplanes arriving to O’Hare airport and from the parking lot you can actually see arriving planes Also, the walls between other guests seemed very thin and we could hear them partying and their TV sound until 1AM that night

The hotel seemed to be little outdated and could use some upgrades, however, the room was fine and the bedsheets and towels were fresh We were little disappointed that there weren’t any USB outlet near the night stands, only regular outlets, so we couldn’t charge our phones in the room, luckily we had our charging batteries (we weren’t planing to stay out of town that night so we didn’t pack accordingly) I’m usually able to sleep during any noise and slept just fine, but if you’re sensitive to any sound while trying to sleep, this hotel may not be for you

Wish we were there more than one night- the room was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff were so pleasant and nice- the front desk staff, the cleaning staff and especially the gentleman over the breakfast They even had Turkey sausage which was an A+ in our book because my husband doesn’t eat beef or pork The breakfast choices were PLENTIFUL, not skimpy like some other hotels we’ve been to during Covid

The price was also great compared to other hotels in the area Thank you so much for allowing us to be comfortable away from home Love from Ohio!!!

Kimber Ly

I had the best experience!! Was here for a bowling tournament and the staff was beyond exceptional We drove 10hrs overnight and arrived way sooner than we expected The staff was gracious enough to hurry and get a room ready so we could check in early

The breakfast was pretty good, they have all the staples so even the picky eaters should find something they like I will definitely come back if I visit IL again

Latoya Reed

The breakfast was not much of a variety to choose from There was no fruit for a healthier choice I wish the hotel offered turkey or chicken patties for people who don’t eat or can’t eat pork

The eggs with cheese was cold and horrible The pool was dirty, the only thing good about my stay was that my room was clean I have visited other Hampton hotels but this particular one really was a disappointment, I will not stay here again

Happy hour, good breakfast Debbie was so sweet and polite I am definitely coming back Bonus for me were the signs about quiet time and what time its enforced Ive stayed at some hotels where guests and or children of guests had 0 consideration for other guests when it came to noise This will be a monthly weekend getaway staycation for me

Me and my boyfriend stayed one night, we enjoyed the room perfect for a small getaway the bed was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were okay breakfast was good we were satisfied with what they offered lots to choose from, now to why the three stars so around 11:40 (check out is at 12) we decided to finally get up and start grabbing our stuff I had accidentally spilled some coffee on my shirt so I was in the middle of changing when we heard the softest knock on the door and before I could even respond a cleaning lady presumes to open our door I was livid Check out is at 12 why the hell is someone barging in at 11:40!? So I go to the front desk with my frustration and the lady giggles it off and says oh I’ll talk to them

This place isn’t cheap by any means and the lack of customer service really irritated me I was in the middle of changing when a worker seemed it was alright to not even give us a second to respond to her knock before letting herself in We’ll be taking our business elsewhere our next couples getaway

We did a celebrating life weekend The check-in and check-out were smooth The rooms were nice, 1 king and 1 double

The only thing that made my skin crawl was the amount of random hair throughout the room, especially the bathroom I packed my own cleaning supplies, lysol, etc (as usual) and went to work There was also an elevator with gum pasted on the wall, which was never cleaned off The decor was fabulous and the accessibility to activities in the area was a plus Oh, there’s complimentary parking

Joseph Guyer

No doubt this hotel is beautiful My young daughter said several times that she wants to have her wedding hereHowever, when compared to other hotels out there, it’s sub-par

The rooms were not very large The coffee maker in the room is situated in a spot that is not near enough to an outlet There is no microwave in the room However, there is a microwave in the ice machine room It was broken And the ice machine was brokenThe control for hot tub was broken The pool was nice and the kids had a great time swimmingBut all in all, for $400 a night I think the value is severely lacking

Didn’t stay there, went for a conference for several days Very nice place Ate at the Starbucks upstairs

Didn’t get the chance to go to the Steak House upstairs yet Do want to try that next yearLove the locationOnly downside is their concession stand food and drinks were SO expensive and they were mediocre at best Got a soft pretzel for $8 that was almost as dry and hard as pretzel rods!!! It must have been under the heat lamp all day! Chicken tenders were mostly breading and they were tasteless Do not buy concession stand food Eat at the places upstairs or go out to the many nice places close by

I travel for work so I have plenty of places to compare this to Overall, everything was great for me My room was clean and I had all I needed

When I checked in, the front desk lady was very nice and accommodating She also helped me right away when I noticed the exercise room was no longer getting any cooling and ventilation She called someone and they promptly took care of it I know they’ll make sure you are taken care of if you give them a chance I look forward to coming back here soon!

Had a lovely 2 weeks here, work trip We are Ambassador status and were granted upgrade to 2 bedroom for the length of our stay We had a rocky start, but our third room was the final one

The 2-bedroom unit has an oven in many of them, ours did This was really helpful on our long stay Also a fireplace ( push button gas) and the normal sized kitchen/ living room 2 full bathrooms were helpful since we are used to that at home The breakfast here is old style buffet, not the current prepackaged grab n go stuff that many residence inns have gone to The pool is indoor, heated, and super safe Deep end is 4’9″, so even short people like me can touch in the deepest water Walking distance to Ikea ( next door), Costco (across street) and a mall (2 blocks) Location is ideal! Only complaint is the hide a bed sofa is really broken down, which is something we have found in most of the residence inns we have stayed in They are all the same, so they all break down the same Don’t sit on the couch too long, you’ll hurt your back! Oh, and one more thing, the phone in room doesn’t work Any room, including the pool Just call the front desk on your cell phone, that works great

Pros and Cons, SAFETY FIRST!!! I do not advise women staying alone to stay here From my personal experience, an unknown man entered my room, coincidently, as I was exiting the shower Thank God my husband rushed to the door when he heard someone accessing the door with a key card

My concern was brought to the front desk 3 times, and to my surprise, the issue had not been addressed I wanted to know how the situation had been handled Too many times we hear about these instances, never thinking that it can happen to youand I don’t want anyone to experience a should’ve, could’ve, would’ve Please, stay safe!!!Otherwise, the staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and the environment was clean I would’ve given 5 stars if my safety and concern would’ve been their concern as well

Quite disappointingGreat location but the condition of the hotel needs to be addressedHousekeeping has been cut in the names of “covid” but it’s needed more regularly

Our washroom was filthy, smelled bad, bathtub chipped and bad odorThe pull-out sofa /bed had no linens available – after 4 requests, it was brought over No body addressed the awful bathroom condition at allBreakfast on weekdays is not as nice as weekends and if you are vegetarian, you shouldn’t expect much

Rob Zelinka

I have stayed here numerous times over the years as it’s close to family and easy access to the airport Understanding that COVID put financial pressure on these hospitality businesses but this hotel is in bad shapeThe carpet is very worn

There’s a bad odor as you walk in the side door and go up to the 2nd floorMany broken things in the room A broken toilet paper holder, broken shower tiles just to name a few The staff is friendly but they’re very overwhelmed It took me nearly an hour to get a set of bedding for the sofa bed and had to make multiple trips down to the desk as the poor woman who was working tried to keep up with checking people in, answering phones, etcThe area around the hotel is very depressed A defunct mall nearby, horrible roadways and dozens of closed businesses are a reflection of how bad it is in what once was a very nice areaWe will be staying at a different hotel for our future trips

If I could give it negative stars I would This hotel is terrible! One of the night shift employees st the front desk, Dulce, was so rude to me for no reason at all! I was asking for some clean towels and garbage bags and she spoke to me in a very rude and condescening way stating thatits against the policy to give me new towels after asking for my room number too She said I have to bring the dirty towels first to her even though ive been staying at the hotel for 2 weeks and none of the other staff has ever claimed it was against the policy! She was acting like I wasn’t staying at the hotel and was trying to steal her towels or something

She was very rude and unprofessional, ready to escalate a situation that should not be a problem The other staff is always so nice but this employee made me lower my rating even more I was placed in one room but after a week there, the neighboring suites shower broke and my room was flooded so I had to move to a different suite which was very annoying at the least and inconvenient too I was already upset because there’s white spiders in both rooms and every day I have to get rid of at least 5 spiders I asked to have them spray some insecticide or something to get rid of the spiders but whatever they are doing is not enough since they keep coming back There are cobwebs in every corner and I asked them to fix the kitchen sink but no one came in since it’s still not working properly I would never recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again

Hotel is fine and clean Beds are low quality but fine Couch had weird disgusting stains

and they sealed the hot tub shut which was sad but I get it due to covid Hospitality is goodThe room was not designed for 4 people but it works Perfect for me who only needed a weekend stay

Brianna Liewehr

Spend some extra money and stay somewhere else I have have good lucks with Marriott in the past but I’ll stick with the Courtyards I booked my room a week in advance on the Marriott app, a room with two double beds

When we came to check in I was told that room was not available that night but they could give me two king rooms and comp one Since I was staying with my 10yo that wasn’t really acceptable My daughter ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa which, when opened, is a HUGE fire hazard as it blocks off the entire trim to the doorThe temperature control did not work well and the ac/fan was extremely drafty I had to put the couch pillows around it to help block the draftThe hallways are always very noisy past 10pm Not good when you’re trying to sleep for an early morningOverall, very disappointed

Nico Kinner

Nice place with a nice staff and some nice accommodations amd very affordable The room we had was pretty well exactly as advertised, the contenental breakfast was great and the hotel itself overall was kept up well and pretty clean The pool was nice, a bit cold for me but my family loved it
