Worst hotel ever! There was a old baby bottle on the floor behind the curtain The staff was severely rude and unprofessional The hotel has not been updated since it was built

Highly recommend Hyatt Place in the Columbus/Worthington area! My suite was very clean and spacious and their extended stay rates were comparable to the surrounding hotels

I needed a room with a large desk for my 2 week stay It was more than adequate and very quiet The complimentary breakfast was very good and always prepared on time Hyatt Place is conveniently located to local restaurants amenities and The National Board

Ronald Kosiek

Stayed here 5 nights for a little vacation as a birthday present for my wife Got one of the high floor king bed suites that is split to have a separate living and sleeping area The room is nice and pretty roomy

Definitely more than enough for just me, my wife, and our 1 small dog But I will say that this type of suite at this Hyatt location definitely wasn’t quite as nice as the one we had at the Hyatt in Cincinnati a couple of years ago We had the same kind of suite there and it was more updated/modern and a little bit more roomy especially in terms of the bathroom and shower area Nonetheless, still a very nice suite and made my wife happy But next time I think we’ll go with the one in Cincinnati again

Chris S

First off I want to start with saying I don’t go to alot of hotels I’m just not a big fan of hotels in general but I can absolutely say that I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Place The rates are very reasonable, friendly staff, and very clean hotel in general

I was definitely impressed with my room The bed was very comfortable and the sofa in the room made me feel at home I would definitely stay at the Hyatt again!!! 😊

Ladies – read this before booking a stay here! I travel frequently on business; most often alone Last week I stayed at this hotel with 2 colleagues The hotel was in very poor condition but I overlooked the many issues because it appears they have started a renovation somewhere inside {certainly not in the room I was in!} What I can’t overlook is a very serious safety concern with this hotel

One of my colleagues’ key cards stopped working in the middle of our stay He went to the front desk and the associate asked his room number and gave him new keys with no verification whatsoever! She didn’t ask his name, and she didn’t ask for an ID This is very concerning to me as she had no idea if he was an actual guest or a stalker that was about to enter a room and wait on an unassuming guest to arrive later This is inexcusable! Earlier in the week, another colleague was able to charge something to his room with zero ID verificationWhile nowhere near as serious, it does tell me that not verifying guests identity is a consistent issue here Travelers, and especially women, book reliable hotel chains when they are traveling alone and their safety should be the highest priority of hotel chains I have tried twice to reach the GM of the hotel, John Hickey, but he has yet to call me back even though I left detailed messages explaining I had a serious safety concern I’ll never stay at this hotel again…if you do, I suggest checking the closet before locking your door for the evening

This hotel in general feels like a Days Inn motel, offering nothing at all special except a place to store your luggage while you lie on their misshapen, springy mattressesThe rooms have a pullout sofa bed thing that was actually only slightly less comfortable than the bed itself, which has probably been around since the 90s 0 stars for comfort

The shower/bath faucet was actually the wrong valve to match which was was hot and which way was cold You had to turn it toward cold to get hot, and hot to get cold Strangest thing everThe hallways repeat the Days Inn feel, but the lobby tries to make you feel like you’re joining a Marriott property 100% of their budget goes into pretending to be a Marriott, albeit the lowest version of one as a CourtyardThe price is okay, but you get what you pay for

Chance Cobbett

Seems great from the start but are fridge was so small I couldn’t put anything else in except 1 gallon of milk for my daughter, I honestly think the only microwave is in the lobby, pretty much if your traveling for work and a family member or 2 stays at the hotel they don’t have much resources to make your own food! I will also say my 1 year old daughter that sleeps through the night cried some during the day and are neighbors thought it’d be great the mock her and then she was even more upset, I went to the front desk and was told their wasn’t really anything they would do, long story short we checked out the next day

The staff were nice The fridge barely made ice I turned on the ice maker in the freezer on Friday

For the total weekend, there were a total of 20 ice cubes, maybe Glad the freezer was cold enough to freeze my bottle water The toilet in our room was very low The bed was extra soft I’m used to a more firmer bed To top this weekend off, our car (along with 4 other guests) was broken into The thieves busted several car windows & stole the cash they found It wasn’t a lot of cash in the car It cost us more to pay for the window replacement Then we found out a similar incident happened a couple months ago at this location Our vandalism occurred between the hours of 12 midnight and 2:30am Monday, July 25th, 2022 During our stay there was a police car (what we thought was a police car was actually security) in the parking lot during the day At night this security person would make rounds at each hotel in the area In the end, 4 cars at this hotel were vandalized and 7 cars at the next hotel Needless to say, we don’t plan to stay at this location again We did file a police report and the front desk person was helpful in supplying guests with bags to put over their broken car window and a broom to sweep out the broken glass In the end, I wanted to share this with others to make them aware of the possibility of car vandalism in this area

We arrived after 11pm and the front desk associate was helpful and friendly The parking lot was full, and he was able to recommend a place to park The hotel could definitely use more parking space

The room was also very clean We did not have a shower curtain, but we tried our best to keep water off the floor and wiped up any excess water with extra towels The beds were really comfortable, and we loved the breakfast You can’t go wrong with waffles! The breakfast attendant was extremely friendly, too I highly recommend this hotel

E.J.F

I was just in this Friday for an overnight stay and was looking for a reasonable price as the Polaris area is very expensiveBrenda the front desk gal was super nice and went out of her way to give me a good deal with a nice roomOn another note the linked sausage for breakfast was like eating a rubber tire

The breakfast attendant gal was very nice diligent and kept the area cleanBack to the sausage, I hope they can use another brand or cook it differentlyMaybe add an industrial size toaster as well and replace the carpet in the stairwells and ensure the outside doors at the end of the hallways function to get in and out of the hotel

Kathy Rex

Great staff!Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold foodsThe room was quiet, clean and comfortableOverall, the hotel was great and well worth the price! There were only a few small problems -1 the hallways are in desperate need of new carpets2 the swimming pool was freezing3 the only elevator is small, noisy and slow

Sonny was very nice and very helpful The only thing I do have a problem with is that I was in a rush to get out of there and they were in a rush to get the luggage carts back in and very carelessly we’re not paying attention and the luggage cart I’m not sure whether it was push or fell into the back of my car and broke off my hatch cover panel so I cannot open my trunk I am still waiting on them to call me back as far as what they’re planning on doing about this

But overall a nice hotel

Lakisha cornelious

Never got anyone to clean the room, we had stayed there for 4 days no one ever cleaned the rooms plus never gave us any towels and when we went and asked the front desk they said that they didn’t have any more that they had to be washed this was so not good at all we had to go to Walmart and buy us some towels and wash clothes the tub was dirty we had to buy bleach and clean the tub out clean the pots and pan they were dirty

Candy Dooley

Ok so after a wonderful night in the city, I was beyond the Intoxicated level you make a drive back home So being responsible, I stopped off at this hotel The staff was so friendly and helpful

Room was beautiful and very clean And Breakfast layout was nice the following morning I appreciate the staff being so understanding and friendly I will definitely be back to stay at your location in the future 😇

Great rooms, love the second floor balcony overlooking the nice courtyard Another reviewer said this place was “quiet” – not if you’re from a rural area!! You can definitely hear the highway from the balcony but that’s okay I just appreciated having the balcony and the view

Nice big try right outside the balcony so it was just nice to be able to step out and get some fresh air without having to go outside of the hotelBed is comfy – I would describe it as soft but firm enough to support the spine Super comfy pillows (there’s an extra one in the closet for rooms with a pull out sofa if you are a pillow fiend like me and want ALL OF THE PILLOWS)The breakfast options were sufficient but definitely not like a regular restaurant Probably about 5 or so menu items, give or take I ended up just going to the Sunny Street Cafe down the road which was simply deliciousAlso, I can run myself a HOT bath! That was wonderful and much needed It’s the little things! Good room for the price Only 4 stars due to the highway noise

patrick lyles

There currently under renovation but we have had nothing but smiles and a warm welcome the entire stay The rooms are well kept and passed my walk through Inspection before putting the bag down My only problem I had is that I’m a bigger guy and the shower was narrow

The interior courtyard was amazing and extremely relaxing along with a good size pool that was not crowded at the time The price was on the high side to me for a night $135 a night But I don’t usually stay in hotels so that up to you Overall 9/10 stay deffinety recommend

Amy Tranter

If you are a prudent booker of hotels and picky about finding the very best hotel, I would not suggest you choose Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Dublin The only positive I would say is the pool – it’s not as “small” as some indoor pools feel, and it’s saltwater vs chlorine That’s where the positives end

First off, the location is horrible – this is not at an exit with hotel and store options nearby There is no complimentary breakfast or even coffee as is common with most Marriott brands There is one ice machine on the entire first floor – it’s a long, long walk The TV is positioned to the side of the King bed instead of right in front of it The shower stall is tight and with a fabric shower curtain, which you know is not often washed or replaced The woman at the front desk was not kind An elderly lady had been walking all over to find the ice machine – the front desk woman said “yes, we just have the one and pointed which direction” I went and got ice for the guest myself Upon leaving, the same person was working and said absolutely nothing except “no” when I asked if we needed to stop to check out If you’re going for the “bar” – it’s not one – it’s a counter and right in same area as check-in counters – it offers no atmosphere I was very disappointed in this Marriott experience

We stayed here for a weekend while we visited the zoo The hotel was a nice, easy drive to the zoo There were plenty of nearby restaurants

The front desk staff were helpful and nice I liked the layout of our room (felt bigger than some apartments I’ve been in) The bed was comfortable We didn’t get a chance to check out either of the two pools or workout areas, but they looked very nice The workout rooms were the best I’ve seen in a hotel The breakfast that was included with our stay was very good It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had The service there was great too There was a wedding going on each night we were there, so we had to park a little further away than we would have liked to, but it wasn’t a big deal One thing to consider when booking this hotel is know that it is a large complex We had to walk a good distance to the hotel and to our hotel room from the elevator This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you struggle walking long distances, it’s something you should consider

Zach Evick

I don’t normally write reviews, but this hotel exceeded our expectations for a weekend stay The room was spacious and great for our family of four Breakfast was the best hotel free breakfast with large variety

Our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool Several hours after we checked out, we realized my daughter left her stuffed animal in the hotel room After calling and talking with them, they didn’t find it in the room, but would keep a lookout in the laundry since we thought it was left on the bed Before we left town we went back to the hotel to check and every worker knew about the missing stuffed animal and went above and beyond to try and find it They went through all the laundry bins and eventually found it after it went through the washer I’m forever grateful for these workers helping find my daughters stuffy Nationwide should be proud for such a great staff We will always stay at Nationwide when visiting Columbus and tell everyone we know to stay there too Thank you guys so much!

Jackie Ulmer

Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center went above and beyond our expectations It is truly a hidden gem in Columbus, Ohio What drew us to the venue, and specifically the Edgewater room, was how relaxed, yet elegant the space was

The room is surrounded with windows and an abundance of natural light We looked at many venues in Columbus, but the cost, quality of food/drink, and quality of the venue space/hotel, is incomparable to the other venues The customer service provided by all of the staff members was incredible The staff and event team is highly organized and they did a fabulous job communicating with us and bringing our reception vision to life They were extremely accommodating and did everything in their power to make even the smallest details a priority I cannot recommend Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center enough!

I stayed here for 6 nights, and I will attest that location is wonderful However, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired The gym is missing weights, there’s no yoga mats

The room was comfortable but my room had some baseboard trim missing, the shower body soap bottle was detached from the wall and so someone had just propped it up on the shelf Only gave me one hand towel and one wash cloth The worst part was breakfast While it’s great that they were doing “made to order,” every morning there was a big line, which took forever Also, they were missing a bunch of things on the menu Menu advertised Impossible sausage, they didn’t have it, avocado toast was supposed to have sun dried tomato and arugula, and it was simply multi-grain bread with store bought guacamole slathered on and one cold hard boiled egg Bagels, no cream cheese, bagel was barely toasted and still cold in the middle The eggs were greasy I don’t understand how this hotel is approved by the Marriott brand

Theresa Porter

The hotel was nice and clean Did not try the cafe but the food smelled goodHad a king size bed that was very comfortable, had a couch that could be a sleeper

Bathroom w/shower was great! TV w/great selection of channels Also did not make it to the pool or the exercise room The hotel is in an awesome location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants!

Timothy Carter

Oh man this was a disappointing experience My normal experience with Courtyards is positive but this place failed to live up to that Let’s dive in

AC Unit:During the night, something in the AC unit produced a sound that I would describe as a monster truck with a helicopter rotary mounted on top This is my main complaint and everything else is a minor annoyanceThe Shower:The lack of water pressure was disappointing but not uncommon What confused me was the lack of body wash in one of the three mounted dispensersThe Bite:After a night of AC terror I found what I believe to be an insect bite on my stomach While I can’t confirm I got it in the hotel I wouldn’t be surprised at this pointIn closing, I had a lovely time here before going to bed but after that it was all downhill I won’t be coming back until some major reservations have been made that are more in par with the standards of Easton

When you are traveling and Life is throwing curveballs at you left and right, one after another, you just want to get to a hotel that is clean and quiet This is how our day was today However, it was our great luck that we had chosen to stay at this hotel

The decor is modern, the parking is great, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby We had a great view of the Olentangy River from our room The beds were comfortable with nice linens, clean floor, and clean bathroom with the standard toiletries and hair dryer Bonus – we enjoyed an early check-in with no line The front desk staff was precise and efficientWorthy of mention was Katie, the Front Desk Manager She was cordial, polite, and conversational Her kind words and actions certainly earned the entire experience at Hampton 6 stars out of 5 !

My husband and I spent two nights at this location while attending a family wedding We always enjoy staying at Hampton Inns, and this property had the comfortable rooms and amenities that we’ve come to expect from the Hampton brand There were a few minor issues that prevent me from giving five stars and had me considering a three star rating

First, our room did not have a shower curtain, making it difficult to keep the bathroom floor dry during a shower We arrived very late at night after several long days of travel, so we simply didn’t have the energy to look into fixing this issue as we mostly wanted to use the room to rest before the wedding we were attendingSecond, my husband, who never complains about his interactions with businesses and tends to give those with customer facing jobs the benefit of the doubt, had a brief but unpleasant interaction with a member of the breakfast staff He tells me they were speaking to him like an employee and not a guest, complaining that he had not replaced a lid on the eggs being served I later observed another member of the breakfast team speaking abruptly and appearing very stressed, leaving me to wonder if this very busy area is understaffedFinally, housekeeping opened our door twice without knocking, entering the room unannounced the second time Once is a mistake, but the second time makes me think this is a lack of proper training or a lack of organization, especially since there’s a message in the room saying they will not provide housekeeping during your stay unless you request itAll of these issues are minor, and we really did enjoy our stay, but I think this property and its staff have some room for growth

My family and I stayed here for my son’s two day football camp and it was a pleasant experience The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the continental breakfast was amazing! Very close to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center if you need to go there for anything The only down side I had was that they didn’t have a hot tub but they did have a nice pool

I would recommend this hotel to others who need to stay in the area Also, try the restaurant, Roosters which is in walking distance, it’s great!

So

Mixed review here The staff has been fantastic; helpful, competent and attentive The public spaces are welcoming and attractive but the furniture isn’t the most comfortable The room is a nice space and the bathroom is super nice The room, however, is entirely covered in laminate flooring Not a fan Regardless of the heat setting the floor stayed cold, it’s slippery when wet and feels pretty industrial While this otherwise is a really nice property, I don’t think I’d stay here again specifically for the flooring

Good staff Good common spaces Small Indoor pool for exercise

Nice fitness room with rower etc and accommodations are good Little quirky things Nautical theme is kind of weird since its landlocked area with retention pond as only water feature But weirdest thing was the door sensor to roomStopped working Got new room but staff had to break into other room to get our things We waited at least an hour so good thing we did that funeral like we had yesterday, or wedding etc Got a call late at night asking about our $120 bar bill for Raymond No Raymond here and certainly 2 drinks didn’t cost $120 Otherwise the rate is good Lots of outdoor places to sit near the pond and some games too

I came for a professional conference, stayed 2 nights The room appeared clean, until I noticed an odd stain next to the bed, and on the curtains The room could use some updating and repair to the furniture

The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet Breakfast buffet was good The conference rooms on the ground floor were freezing every time I went in for a session It was 90 degrees outside, and I was looking up the closest place to buy a jacket Overall, not a bad place to stay, but I expected something a little cleaner for the price

Jeremy

Room was nice and clean, had plenty of space for a hotel room The cable had been disconnected but was hooked back up by the staff after we called We stayed over a weekend and the pool is warm and clean but there’s no towels available unless you ask at the front desk

Staff doesn’t enforce any pool rules so noise and occupancy gets crazy in there Staff doesn’t monitor any type of noise in the hotel at all either There were kids and adults hollering in the lobby and running the walkways until almost 1am The bar in the lobby is nice but when people blare music and scream all not, it makes the evening less than enjoyable Parking is 10 bucks a night and we were charged a different rate for the room each night we were there Decent hotel if you only consider room condition but I won’t stay there again due to all the other issues

Before I rip the hotel apart, I want to first off start by saying the staff is incredible The people at the front desk are amazing, they’re probably some of the nicest people you’ll come across, are literally as accommodating as possible, and the lady who makes the breakfast in the mornings will always say good morning They truly go the extra mile to do everything they can

As far as the hotel, the air in the pool room was well over 100°, the room itself wasn’t that great and they were low on extra pillows so I was forced to only have one the duration of my stay because I’m allergic to feathersThe bathroom smelled of mildew, and they use 1-ply toilet paper in the rooms You couldn’t keep the room fans on if you turned the lights off, and they still used a register in my room instead of central (thermostat air)However, upon asking at the front desk for non down pillows, the staff immediately looked for an extra When I needed a water, they gave me one Power was out in most of the city because of a heatwave, and with everything going on in the staffs lives that they had to deal with, they were as good as it gets Even with their computers down they were scrambling to get everything coordinated and truly trying their best There’s a lot worse hotel gyms as well, the gym wasn’t half badThose people deserve a raise, and they deserve a lot of fixes to the hotel rooms

Melissa is an amazing manager! She is very accommodating and quick! We had an issue with Bookingcom and our reservation and she immediately was on the phone with them and worked the issue out so we could rest comfortable after our ten hour drive from SC The breakfast was really good!!There was a strange issue with someone pulling the fire alarm but things were sorted quickly and we all returned to our rooms within thirty minutes (def much faster than another time that happened to us at a different hotel!)

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the wifi is awesome! The pool is nice and big!Highly recommend!!!

This hotel was easily accessible from the expressway and close to everything we needed Our room was fairly clean apart from a few spots on the carpet here and there The garbage cans had no liners in them and housekeeping only cleans on request

We were told to leave garbage outside of our door during the day and someone would pick it up The room is decent sized and has a separate living area from the bedroom which I loved Pool and workout room were nice and breakfast was tasty and hot, just a little crowded My only real complaint would be check in I checked in late like 1030 11 pm Guests were crowding the check in desks just hanging out and talking I stood around for 15 or so minutes before an employee acknowledged me for check in Also, elevators There are 2 sets of 2 elevators but every day we were there only 1 of the 2 elevators was working on both sets

Patti Morgan

We were lucky to get a room on short notice on a Saturday afternoon The room was large and clean, and the fold out couch was perfect for the kidsThe trash cans in the room did not have liners, and the tub was slow at draining

There was plenty of soap available, and the hair products were much appreciatedThe breakfast spread was amazing Lots of cereal, fruit, and fresh cooked foodAll elevators were functioning, halls were clean, everything well in order in the lobby and lounge

I stay at a lot of Hilton hotels Our stay was good but not great I’ve noticed Embassy Suites hotels are ran similarly

Overall, the stay was decent The room was a good size room for my family and the hotel was nice enough for our quick trip over memorial day weekend But we were missing a few things in the room we had to call and let the front desk know Missing tv remote and they had a fake phone in the bedroom The pool wasn’t heated and the staff weren’t that friendly Front desk personnel were nice At breakfast, the staff begins breaking down breakfast before 10am and actually shut the doors on people still getting food and coffee The bar staff at dinner weren’t outgoing and friendly but did their jobs Food was good but would like to be able to get coffee after 10am
