This place is so beautiful! The pictures, that were taken, do not hold a candle to actually being there Frank and Megan (Owners) are the most warm friendliest, down to earth people that you could ever meet

They were very informative about the history of The Argo This was our first time going to a bed & breakfast, lets just say Frank & Megan have set a very high standard on us staying at any other place We will definitely be coming back

Definitely the place to stay in Nebraska!! I would highly recommend not only booking a stay, but inviting a couple of friends for your weekend away too as there are multiple communal places to sit and visit The rooms are unique and stunning! The room my husband and I stayed in had a balcony and the weather was just right to enjoy it The hosts are friendly and helpful

Six of us made the trek to a concert at the Knox county fair and could not have picked a better place Check out their fb page for pictures!

Fairly nice place Good breakfast and friendly front desk staff There are RR tracks next door

The door to the hallway had light coming in all around it, ie no seals, so best to bring some ear plugsKids loved the pool with slides!

DeeDee Bresee

The young lady that checked us in was wonderful! Very friendly! She was the only one We had 8 rooms and ALL of the kids that swam developed a terrible rash that lasted for over 5 days! Called down to talk to the general manager, just to let her know and she got very defensive and told us that the pool readings were all perfect and it must have been something elseWe had pool side rooms and the pool area is in poor up keep, our sliding door would hardly work

The rooms need updates for the prices they charge! We have stayed here several times over the last 6 years, but after the way we were treated, never again!

The rooms were immaculately clean, and SUPER nice Our bed was so comfortable, we haven’t gotten a good night’s rest since we left There was a ton of space for my children to move around in our room

They even personalized your stay by having your name on the television in your room when you arrive The breakfast was PHENOMENAL, we went down both mornings we stayed I truly did not want to leave I will forever be an IHG customer now that I have stayed at one of these hotels I will absolutely be recommending this place

This was a great hotel just 15mins away from Morningside University! Staff was friendly and respectful Breakfast was good with lots of options They had cookies downstairs around 3pm everyday which the kids liked

Our room was big, clean and the bathroom was a large too with a big shower! I loved that they had dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash! It’s little things like that in a hotel that I love! Good quality products to use when away from home! We will stay here again soon!:)

Though, I have stayed here in the past I was disappointed with my last stay! I booked a 2 night stay for a total of $518 dollars online Upon arrival, they tried to charge me 20% on top of the $518 bringing the total to $721, which is more than 20%! I was told 20% is for snacks and liabilities

So, my card was declined, because I only anticipated paying $518 and they couldn’t except cash! I never had this problem in the past! So, instead of staying 2 nights, we only stayed 1 night What really disappointed me the most is the up keep of room #130 The front door looked like it had been broken into in the past! When entering or leaving this room you really had to pull or push this door to make sure it was closed! It was off centered and you could see the damage on the outside were someone tried to pry the door open in the past! The bedroom had stains on the ceiling from what appeared to be a previous water leakThere were cobwebs in the corner The trimming on the wall was loose and hanging The furniture in this room definitely needs an upgrade! It had multiple stains and appeared to be worn down Then, there was also a problem with the toilet and I had to call maintenance!Never, had this problem in the past! And for the price, this room was definitely not worth the money! I decided to make this my last stay! 👎

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My dad booked two rooms Their room was fine Mine was horrible

First the AC barely worked When we got into the room 321 it was 87 degrees We turned the AC down to 70 Didn’t do anything for a few hours Finally we cranked it down to 65 and by 7am the temp finally went down to 79 degrees Which is still awful I got a grand total of an hour of sleep after a 16 hour drive We stayed at a hotel because I had to turn around and drive another 16 hours This is going to be lovely!! When we told the front desk about the AC they didn’t apologize, offer another room, etc Hell, they didn’t even offer the room at a discounted rate Also, nothing in the room was stocked up The coffee creamer was solid/ chunky I had to go downstairs to get creamer that wasn’t expired Also, told the lady at the front desk about this as well and she stated, “well you came downstairs and got some” Not the point And lastly, my dad is military He served 30 years and they wouldn’t honor their military discount I have never experienced such awful customer service We will never book here again If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would You don’t deserve even 1 star

I suggest staying at the Holiday Inn I was there for one night for a funeral I checked into the first room and the scent of whatever deodorant they use to spray on their carpets was so strong I opened the window and you could still smell it in the hallway

I have asthmas and migraines so that didn’t go over well I tried to just deal with it but after about 30-60 minutes we talked to a room attendant and they offered us another room This room had the same scent but but quite as strong so I switched We went to the hot tub later in the evening and it wouldn’t turn on Apparently the sauna didn’t have power either but I didn’t try that Slept (relative term) on the worst bed I think ever in a hotel Took a shower in the morning and went to dry my hair and the hair dryer didn’t work Now I was behind schedule and already stressed out about my grandpa’s funeral Got a new blow dryer from the desk I forgot all of my toiletries in the shower Frankly I don’t care bottles of shampoo and conditioner, the full toothpaste or toothbrush but there was a full bottle of very good face wash and I called to ask if it was put aside so I could send someone to get it I was told no!! It was probably thrown away Thrown away? Who throws away someone’s toiletries? I could understand if one item was left in the shower but it was crystal clear they were forgotten Needless to say it’s my own fault I did forget them but I would not stay here again

The rooms were nice and clean The front desk clerk was very helpful and nice The breakfast in the morning was nice with a nice variety

The room air was very loud every time it kicked on, the curtains took some tugging to open and the bed didn’t have standard pillows, they were 4 smaller pillows that weren’t comfortable to sleep on The pool looked nice and clean

Nice, clean, quiet resort located on the edge of Lewis and Clark Lake to the right of the Marina The staff is always super friendly, super helpful, and ready to answer any/every question you can throw at them We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin that has plenty of space for 10 people to sleep in

The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, and even a crock pot The living room TV is hooked up to cable and there is WiFi throughout the entire resort We can’t wait to see you again in September for our wedding!

J-Bo Gra-Bo

Great place, great views great scenery Not too expensive You will have to purchase a daily park permit to stay overnite

In May of 2022 it cost $8 There are fire pits and grills for use The chairs are pretty comfortable Though they can have some bird droppings on them I would advise aluminum foil or skillets for use with the grill and some way to clean or cover the chairsWould I recommend someone to stay here ABSOLUTELY YES

Alex Huerta

The lake is beautiful, but the resort room is just more than worse, not complete clean with spiders all over, death fly’s on the wall, bathroom water shower cap, leaking Dirty walls, we feel the name resort, has nothing to do with a real resort If I can score a minus star I will, but there’s not option

We love the park and lake, but the room very poor clean and update

Overall, the hotel is up to date, comfortable, and in good repair However, they might have some staffing issuesYou have to ask for housekeeping if you want it more than every three days

With four people in the room, we asked for it every day, but never got a full cleaning Day 1 – towels only Day 2 – towels and one trash emptied, no liner, no TP or tissues even though we specifically asked Day 3 – one out of two beds made, trash overflowing and not changedAlso, never saw a breakfast attendant unless I went to the desk to tell them something (coffee and or juice) was out – not at all proactiveOverall a great property if they can get the staffing sorted out

Kenneth Starr

I would rate more than three but not more than four and a half overallThe reason is that the sink is not included in the bathroomI can’t shave if someone is still sleeping

I go to the bathroom and have to wash my hands in the bathtub or grab the door handle before washing my hands I find it just weirdEverything else gets four stars Actually 45
