Came in from work and this place was 80 bucks I was told most items were booked up so I went ahead and gave this place a chance At first it didn’t seem to bad until I pulled back the blanket to get in bed

Someone ate peanut m&ms and left crumbs on the sheets along with their hair I went to tell them that my bed didn’t have clean sheets and he wanted to argue and deny it was dirty Lol Typical slum lord attitude too Told me there is demand for his rooms so my opinion didn’t matter With Covid and everything else out there, you at least expect clean sheets and towels Gross

Great hotel We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was prefect for us as a family of 5 for a week long stay Beds were comfortable, multiple pillows on each bed with different styles so you can choose and loved that we had room to move around and had 2 bathrooms! Don’t hesitate

if your traveling in the area with a family and want the extra space it is perfect!

tokunbo adodo

It’s OK good Not bad but not greatThe rooms are spacious enough and have adequate amenities

However, the place is getting dated A few things need attention:the faded hallway carpeting; the wooden floor in the room; the old carpet in the room; the archaic shower temperature regulator; and rooms that have the outdoor air conditioning units as your view

Allison Smith

To be honest, I was disappointed when I walked Into my room Everything is super dated Closet doors were broken on all 3 closets, dirty dishes under counter, there is no oven! I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite

Kitchen sink faucet was barely attached When u turned on water it came up and almost completely If you are looking for any kind of luxury this is NOT it Super basic, very dated, nothing to get excited about Only surface cleaned The carpet in the room was disgusting It was super sticky I accidentally stepped on it for only a few steps and my feet were sticking inside my shoes I would not have paid as much as I did for this room if I had seen it before hand The pool is basic also, like this is a 2 star hotel at best The water had white stuff floating on top and was not clear It was oy 3 feet and could not see the bottom Ungodly amount of chlorine also

Worst hotel stay of our lives, an absolute nightmare This place needs to be condemned and demolished Our room smelled horrible and was filthy upon arrival

There were hairs and gunk all over the bathroom The toilet paper holder, door frames, ironing board, and towel racks were rusted over and unsanitary Carpet and shower were so dirty that we had to wear shoes while showering and walking in the room Curtains, bed skirt, and fridge were covered in mystery stains Each night a group of 10 people gathered outside our door drinking, smoking, and yelling past midnight When we drove in after dark, we almost got a flat tire due to the numerous potholes and broken up pavement chunks in the driveway Stay ANYWHERE but here!!!

peyton bonner

Worst experience I’ve ever had from staff They refused to let me talk to a manager while we were in the office Me and my wife have called numerous times to speak to a manager and they still refused

They charged debit card twice at 133$ and we never opened the door in a room! Swimming pool was greenish black! Pics on advertising look nothing like this place!

Let me start this off by saying the person working the front desk was so nice and friendly The room on the other hand was disgusting! There were red stains by both beds on carpet, there was zero attempt to even clean bathroom, shower doors were filthy, inside shower was filthy, sink was disgusting and not cleaned either to include faucets not even wiped down

bathroom sink was also stopped up, figured that out when I simply went to wash my hands We only stayed one night but had I booked the room longer I would have taken my business elsewhere I would not stay here again Definitely pick a cleaner place with better cleaning staff

A G

The staff were friendly and the location was convenient for my stay Not the cleanest but also not the dirtiest compared to other hotels I’ve been toThe shower was a bit dirty with mildew along the caulking, water spots on the glass shower doors, some orange streaks down the front of the shower pan, and black shoe prints inside

The chair side table had grease spots all over itThis hotel had plenty of options for food within a 20 minute drive

Cassandra Hammitt

This would have been a great stay in a newer hotel, except the first room we were checked into was dirty After 17+hours in the car, tried to shower and the fixture sprayed water out of the top of the seal besides the actual head Asked for a different room and was provided a suite

Ok, cool, much cleaner, on 3rd floor Water pressure not the greatest Water damage around the windows, no big deal, but for the climate could definitely go for dehumidifiers as rooms feel damp causing beds to feel damp Our 3rd night there we got locked out of our room because the clerk who moved us our first night never updated room information, so they thought I had checked out and the previous guest in the suite was overstaying their welcome After almost 30 minutes we got that straightened out so I could get my kids to bed Spoke with the manager when I checked out, said she would reach out to Travelocity about some kind of compensation, still waiting on that call I might stay again because they did try to help, but definitely checking other hotels first

The location is not a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott it is a Best Western I was checked into a room that had not yet been serviced I was then checked into another room that was not properly cleaned

My comforter, pillow, and bathroom wall had blood stains on it There was a used washcloth hanging in the bathroom and the toilet was nasty I cleaned the toilet myself with the Clorox wipes I brought along with me I mentioned it to the front desk manager and he had this attitude as if he really did not care He proceeded to tell me that he is not the one that did it I was not looking for a refund or anything I didn’t mention anything about a refund I just wanted to let him know so he can inform housekeeping of the poor job they are doing People spend all this money to stay at hotels and is greeted to those kind of things That is just horrible Not to mention I had to strip the bed myself, go get fresh linen and make the bed myself I had my 5 month old baby with me and he puts everything in his mouth It was just horrible I shouldn’t have to clean the toilet and make the bed myself I paid my money and everything should have been done from the get go

Shawann Carter

This hotel so sad I didn’t want to put a star but I had to just to put review Hotel and the management needs help The hotel just as nasty as the manager attitude

The room that was reserved for us had bloody comforter and manager was unbothered by it Pool was closed (which we were not advised) This place is a do not return for me I had a family vacation of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids) which all became sick at our stay at this hotel NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! The mew management should have invested in projects the way he keeping this place up because I know for a fact this not the way a hotel should be ranOh yea and keep your voice down 9 o’clock is quiet time

M. Fruge’

My husband and I was passing through and it was cheaper than the Drury and the others we usually goes to However, we got what we paid for The bed wasn’t the best & breakfast was cold and bagged like commodity food, I guess

Like I said, you get what you pay for going cheap! Ik we will stick to what we’re used to next time Customer service was nice & professional

From the moment I walked in until the time I check out, this hotel was perfect The staff was very friendly and helpful Debbie the Manager was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed

The room was spotlessly clean and my wife and I slept well just like we were in our own bed I usually have trouble sleeping in strange/new beds, but this bed was great The shower/bath was extremely clean Most hotels have issues with the water pressure either being too low or too high, but this water pressure was perfectI would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

New Door

This was a week long (Sunday to Saturday) business trip from hell because of this hotel! If there was a way to post a Negative rating here, I would!Filthy room on check in There was doo-doo left all over the toilet, wet towels rolled up as if they were fresh, sinks and counters filthy The carpet had not been vacuumed at all, dirty refrigerator and trash left in cans

I had to clean the toilets and sinks myselfWhen I complained to the manager, she just told me that they were very busy the evening prior She made no attempt to help at all Horrible manager!!! Cleaning person should be terminated!Eventually I was moved to another room that was clean, but not until another employee helped, but not the managerWhen I returned from my conference on Friday, the desk informed me that I did not have a room for the evening as I was supposed to have checked out that morning Although I presented paperwork for the proof of having a room until Saturday, they continued to argue that I needed to pay for an additional evening and present a credit card or leaveWhen I protested, they allowed me back to the room, and I found that they had entered my room and removed all the towels and linensAgain, reporting to the manager only to get no help and nothing but attitudeDO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP! HORRIBLE SERVICE! DEPLORABLE MANAGER!

Jazzy_88 !! (It’sjazzybabi88)

The hotel was nasty our room had red stains all over the floor as if someone threw up At the edge of one bed there was red looked like left over throw up! They new the room was like that because I told my husband to go and let them know so we wouldn’t be charged The next day I got locked out my room because they deactivated our room card

I go to the front desk and the manager who took her time to assist me said oh I can’t give you a card your husband has to be here! My husband was at work and didn’t get off for another 25 hours He even tried to call she refuse to give me a key The water pressure is trash! The front of the hotel smells good the rooms smell old Even after buying air freshener it still had a smell The beds are hard as a brick The manager or whatever she is Debbie played on her phone while I’m standing there to get help and the other front desk person was assisting someone on the phone I was given another key that didn’t work This hotel is sad and they need to find better management! You say those are sharpie marks what In the hell kind of sharpie is that with all that on that floor ma’am find a better lie I have read several comments about you being rude and since you receive these reviews I decided to reach out to corporate and file a complaint! I’m never that person to reach out to corporate and complain but baby your very rude and I assume you think I’m stupid to believe the lies you tried to feed me!

Horrible experience Booked two, two room suites (king and queen bedrooms with kitchen, sitting area and bath) only to later cancel one for my son’s graduation at LSU Arrived to find that my remaining reserved room was not available because other guests were allowed to extend their reservations

This resulted in being given two king suites across the hall from each other Rooms were nice but the resulting billing nightmare left a lasting impression Took days to get it all sorted out so my credit card was billed properly Management needs a course in how to move guests who overstay their welcome!! Nice place, just hope your room is available when you show up

Nikki Wilson

The rooms were so clean! It felt like a little, cozy apartment!! The sectional couch was so inviting The bed was so comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean There was even a little dishwasher! They have everything you need to have a relaxing time

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good I can’t wait to stay again so I can just walk on over and shop at the stores near by!

The room was big and had and refrigerator and great shower pressure after a long day of work The owners are kind and will try to accommodate any request and even do laundry for you, which is great when you are traveling and don’t have the daylights hours to do it yourself The owner even helped make accommodations in a different city just to help me out

It is not the Hilton, but the price is more than reasonable and the owners are compassionate fair people that are a willing to help when they can Get place for a person who is in construction, railroad, lineman, or trade skill and the company is not footing the bill and you have to pay for your own expenses Thank you very much!

Shaundrica Myles

We were affected by storm Displaced and came to this place We were trying to pay for another night

The manager, wouldn’t let me & my family pay for another couple of nights She said if we wasn’t out by 11am, she would have our stuff thrown out!!! I just walked out! It was a better way to communicate to your customers Customer service at its worst!

225dOg

The staff is awesome and very understanding Rooms are great with a full size fridge and microwave Fresh towels and room cleaning every day

Update: best hotel you can stay at if you want genuine caring staff and management Go to the motel 6 or the others if you like But you will not find the service and friendlyness you will find at the Westerner Motel

The TownePlace Suites by Marriott is a nice hotel to stay in Its been very quiet given the amount of guests staying here Although when we arrived, the hotel did not have any hot water after a storm had blown through Monday midday and affected a fuse for hot water heaters

When I called down to the front desk, the staff was very friendly and helpful They let me know that had a repair guy out Tuesday midday and it was going to fixed by around early afternoonThe suite itself is set up very nicely with a small kitchen area if you plan to eat in or even just heat up some food in the microwave Tea, coffee and sugars were on hand Plus a couple bottles of water and a bag of popcornFor the room set up, I would have preferred that the closet area and the bathroom been switched around to have the bathroom door in the hallway away from the bed and the closet maybe closer to the bed That way when someone gets up early they would not wake up the other person still sleeping The temperature in the hallways are a bit on the warm side The pool area was nicely set up with lots of seating, umbrella tables, long lounge chairs and small tables
