Stayed here with my mom and cat during our moving process and had a wonderful experience The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was clean and a nice size This would also be a great place to take younger children as it had lots of space around the hotel to run and play and had a great pool

Room service was also delicious and delivery was fast Definitely would stay here again!

We just stayed at the Sheraton Redding for a conference, and it was lovely!! The customer service was really top notch, from the hotel manager, and the catering manager (and their staff!), to the club lounge hostess, Angie, that made our whole group feel very welcome and taken care of The restaurant, though a little pricey, was very good Overall, I was very pleased and plan to return for a visit with my family

Marmarin Virani

Came here for Memorial Day! The front desk was super sweet! The rooms were decent but I think the hospitality and service provided far exceeded my expectations They have breakfast and evening reception in their Club Lounge and it was great We met Chasie there

She was such a sweetheart and took so much care of us and all other guests The front desk folks too were very nice Overall the people working here were amazing Will come back soon!!

If you’re forced to sleep in Redding, this place should be near the top of your list if looking between mid and high end rangeThe views are not overly amazing but the service is As of this time, open bar and restaurant for breakfast / lunch / dinner

Every member of the staff has been amazing both times The rooms have been perfectly clean and spacious (king bed room)Surprisingly good food too Location may kind of be lacking, but some walkable convenience options and In N Out nearbyThey treat you right here

Chris Johnson

It’s an older HGI but still fairly nice the rooms are a bit dated but still clean The lady downstairs that does breakfast is a keeper total customer service person She needs a raise she is a people person and was a joy to meet

The television well it kept losing signal most of the time and was annoying I turned it off wasn’t really a huge deal but it may be for others On check it took three times for my key to work but they were working on and apologized for it it happens I actually asked on my third time downstairs ok where is the camera this must be a prank Super nice people here would stay again

Jacqueline Neis

While the staff was friendly, we were extremely disappointed in the quality of the room as a whole The bathroom was very outdated and needs to be thoroughly cleaned and updated There was discoloration and scum in the bathtub as well as on the toilet seat

Having children with us, I felt that we could not be them in the bathtub The Keurig coffee maker looked like it had never been properly cleaned with tons of mildew in the water department For the price we would never stay here again or recommend this hotel, sadly

Had a great stop over here on our last leg home to Vancouver Canada Great staff at the front counter both late evening and next morning Clean, friendly, fastest wifi we’ve ever had in a hotel

Beds were really comfortable Shower was great Lots of hot water and good pressure The business center was great the next morning Was able to get on to my email and print our travel docs I needed for our border crossing Definitely worth staying here on your way through Redding

Leah B.

Great rooms, plenty of plugs for devices, and customer service was great Took off 1 star because there wasn’t many breakfast options for vegans except oatmeal Took off another star for thin walls and the lack of soundproof floors

We stayed on the 2nd floor and the people who stayed above us had kids who liked to run back and forth very late at night Front desk was great about handling the situation though I would recommend staying on the 3rd floor if you’re not traveling with kids and want a good night’s rest

Adam Gritt

Good stuff: Nice staff Very large room but slight ‘old’ smell Ample free parking

A couple of wall sockets available for EV charging Free hot breakfastBad stuff: Breakfast coffee was terrible Eggs were nice but other hot items were not tasty Limited seating in breakfast areaSolid 4/5 but could easily be 5/5 with some improvements

Just arrived and I feel like I was duped I just saw the average stars given in the reviews, but didn’t read any BIG MISTAKE! I paid $190 for a bungalow because the website photos made the room look good as well as the description

The room is very dirty, the lighting in the bathroom is so poor that closing the shower curtain puts one at great risk of falling The woman at the front desk and the close proximity to the freeway are the only positive things about this third rate motel This is definitely not even a hotel, much less resort Obviously the owners have hit hard times Instead of pulling a bait and switch, which is ruining any chance they have of regaining patronage or respect, they should only rent the limited amount of rooms that they are able to keep repaired, painted, cleaned, and provide enough towels and light bulbs for Maybe then, they would receive enough decent reviews Tomorrow we will have the breakfast that we paid extra for I hope that at least will be adequate

Jeffrey Magner

This is a nice quaint charming hotel and the staff is super friendly and courteous and awesome I enjoyed my stay The restaurant was excellent the food was awesome and I appreciated that

I chose this hotel over the Hampton Inn in red Bluff because I’d rather stay in a local hotel not a chain hotel This was fine for me I’m just driving south by myself but my wife would not have liked it and my kids would not of liked it really The room could’ve been cleaner and there were scuff marks on the walls and I could use a power wash on the patios and the sidewalks so they can do a better job of being impeccable and cleaning up the place The inner courtyards of the buildings are just rocks no landscaping and that is not a good luck But in this case you get what you pay for and I’m used to spending $300 a night at hotels these days and so this was more of a budget hotel in my experience I suppose if they put more money into up keeping everything and adding then the price would go higher as well Overall it was fine for what I needed and I am hopeful that this review is helpful for your decision

Chris Jenks

Large room, interesting architecture, reflection pool was pretty cool Air conditioning and refrigerator were loud but effective Bed skirt was too short but the beds were comfortable and clean

Some things needed maintenance – cushions missing from some pool chairs, hot tub was out of order Pool was clean and the grounds were interesting, staff were friendly and put some care into making sure we were comfortable Breakfast was good, with generous servings

I agree with the other reviewers, I almost don’t want to let the secret out I stayed two nights over the Memorial Day holiday and my experience was perfect Greg, the Innkeeper/ owner was fantastic; responsive and kind

The house is beautifully appointed with antiques and the room was spacious and bed & linens were comfortable I loved the view of the river and railroad trestle The home has two rooms and while the other room was occupied for one of the nights, I didn’t hear a thing The area is quiet in the evenings, the room was super quiet, and the home has off-street, well lit parking Greg provided coffee in the morning (with a selection of creamer options) and the kitchen has a full size refrigerator for guest use as well as utensils and dishes for guests I used the fridge for bottle water and take-out leftovers and had plenty of room The outdoor area is lovely and oasis like I loved it here and will definitely book again

Emily O (MOM!!)

I almost don’t want to write this raving review because I want to keep this place our secret This home is so peaceful and tranquil We will forever stay at the Desmond house when we travel to and from Oregon and California

Greg is the most amazing host and a kind and wonderful human This is our second stay and we look forward to the next one!

Steven Kolden

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights We took both rooms and had the house to ourselves What an incredible experience! The host was fantastic! The house was really amazing! Decorated with nautical antiques which were incredibly interesting

The lighting was perfect A really unique experience You also got a decent view of the river and huge binoculars to look at the river’s wildlife Beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains truly black out the light We had no problems sleeping in late If we ever get back to Redding we will definitely stay here again I highly recommend it!

It’s outdated yet, comfortable, quiet and clean The shower had low pressure Awesome staff!!! Regular hot hotel breakfast

I didn’t have a chance to enjoy the pool, it looks like a heated outdoor pool, a little small tho!I’m grateful to have had a quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay! Definitely will keep in mind when in that area again!Thank you!

Brook

I’m traveling for work and the company booked this place and it’s just a HUGE NO from me Musty smelling hallways and apparently there are a lot of break-ins in the parking lot We were told not to leave valuables in the car

There’s mold in the bathroom as well as a huge hole in the ceiling filled with dirt I am incredibly uncomfortable and am hoping I can shut my eyes and just forget I’m here long enough to get some rest There has to be a better option nearby! Go there insteadOh also the incidental fee is $100!!!! An actual joke

Cynthia Houser

Rolling black outs are terrible Fires are even worse When life happens here is where I come

When I come to Twin View Best Western I’m treated like family, Peter and Dee always make sure my puppy and I get the room I’m most comfortable in and it’s the best room in the house for our needs So accommodating and we even get a hot mealFar away enough from city but close enough to the freeway so you don’t get lost Staff is always great and just ask if you need anything extra ❤️Close to View 202 《best Redding restaurant》 that sits on the Sacramento river and Sundial Bridge a tourist attraction everybody talks about in Northern California Bike trails close by, shopping, all the amenities needed and for me much needed privacy Best Western side of I-5

Front desk staff were incredibly nice The gentleman that helped check me in was very kind and helpful He made me feel very welcome

The room was large and comfortable The bed was comfortable as well Parking lot is a little tight But the location is pretty great Across the street from a Taco Bell and Dutch Bros I didn’t have any pets but it’s a pet friendly place so that’s nice

Sandi Shaw

The Americana Modern Hotel was recently renovated so everything is very nice (No carpet in the ground floor rooms, which is great for anyone with allergies Pet owners stay on the opposite side of the hotel so no mixed rooms

) From the bottled water they give you at check-in to the decor, linens, and outdoor gathering space; they’ve thought of what would make you feel welcome It’s in a cute little town I walked to a restaurant the night I checked in, and stopped at a great little coffee/pastry shop on way out of town It was a perfect place to stay before heading north I definitely felt energized and ready to tackle the snowy passes thanks to a really comforting stayOnly issue: Being sensitive to smells I did share with the management (very nice people) that their cleaning product scent was too strong They were appreciative and seemed to care It’s a place I’d stay again I even gave the info to my sister who plans to stay there in a couple months on her way south

Lauren Sapp

Our stay was amazing! Even before arrival we received a Welcome text asking if we needed any additional accommodations When we arrived I was greeted by Danielle and she was absolutely amazing She gave me great recommendations to local restaurants and all of the ones we were able to try were delicious

Our room was clean and spacious and stocked with plenty of towels When it was time to check out the process was super simple Danielle was there to assist us again and took the time to the time to show my daughters all the cool dog picture I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Redding!

We took our kids here for a 4 night stayChristina at the front desk was very friendly and helpfulRoom seemed outdated

The shower was leaky Kitchen appliances were old and grossRequested a crib and foam pillows before we arrived wasn’t there when we reached Seems to me there is a disconnect between their app and front desk That’s a shame as the app system did seem to be very easy and convenient to use reaching out to hk and front desk via an app would have been greatThe pool was dirty and disgusting, algae and mildew pool furniture had spider websI have had better breakfast experience at hotels Not much to offer, cold foodOverall, I would say this was the worst Marriott experience for us We have regularly used the brand for other stays but this time we were extremely disappointed

Lincoln Christensen

This place need some updating We put towels down on the couch and chairs because they were so gross Looked like nasty bus seats

The pool was dirty or really stained But I didn’t get in Didn’t think my kids should but it was hot Have fun kids hope you don’t get a flesh eating disease That said, they really need to make some serious improvements but that will probably cost to much

We had a late night arrival and an early departure for a quick trip we were making The owners were very accommodating and had the room ready for us when we showed up Air conditioning and lights were on

We got a great nights rest and were ready to hit the road in the morning I plan on making this a part of our routine for driving to Southern California from now on

SL

Cheapest rate in the area Parking right outside the room, which is very convenient Saw a couple short hairs on the bedsheets, a dead huge crane fly under the bed runner/cover

Right by the freeway so traffic noise was nonstop throughout the night Left a review on bookingcom and got an unpleasant reply from the owner The owner denied what was mentioned and accused me of giving a 5/10 review on a wrong hotel, unwelcoming us not to stay again We definitely won’t return and wouldn’t recommend it to travelers in the area

Bridget London

Horrible customer service and charging for false claims of delinquent pets I stayed last night and had two pets which they knew when I checked in Left early this morning and received an email that I was charged an extra 25$ Claiming my dogs left a mess

They didn’t at all so I called to find out what kind of mess they were claiming The woman was extremely rude and told me there was urine on both beds and the floor which is completely false I asked for photo evidence and she proceeded to hang up on me I then called back and asked for photos again and asked if she hung up on me , she hung up on me again I would not recommend this place to anyone It was dirty already and clearly are trying to scam people for extra money

The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable We got a room with a big tub and it was wonderful to relax and enjoy a nice clean tub The breakfast was good and the coffee delicious When we checked out Shawna was so pleasant and friendly We will definitely be back

First of all this place is kind of oddly located in a primarily industrial area There is a deli across the street but no other dining choices The hotel itself was clean and modern

The check-in was easy and the front desk person was helpful Our king suite was on the small side and the furniture was pretty uncomfortable Decent place but there are better choices nearby

Katrina Scott

I was traveling with my daughter and we were driving from Arizona to Washington I had never driven so far and I was a bit nervous to find a hotel Two women traveling together with all of her belongings in the car

I called first to make sure there was vacancy A sweet woman at the desk told us to come on over She had us park up front and had our room close to the desk I immediately felt safe and was so thankful for her She made my trip so much better We had a nice sleep then kept on with our road trip in the morning I didn’t get to thank her again Thank you!

One of the best values in hotels around! The staff that checked me in were very friendly and welcoming, and were able to get me checked in with no hassle and worked very quickly The staff working in the breakfast area were also friendly and I appreciated their hard work to serve a great breakfast and keep the dining area cleanThe hotel room itself was excellent, with plenty of extras like a sofa and table, as well as being very clean and comfortable

The bathroom was simple; just a shower and toilet, but both were clean and met all expectationsWhile many hotels no longer offer breakfast, or what they do offer is little more than a yogurt or granola bar, the Oxford Suites offered a very nice selection for breakfast, including juices and coffee, diced potatoes, eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, and pretty much all the other bites you could want for a breakfastLastly, the location of the hotel is very convenient; it is close enough to restaurants to walk to and situated near the middle of town so getting anywhere quickly is not a challenge

Sandy S.

Very pleasant stay Rooms remodeled, front desk staff very helpful, on spot and courteous Nice free breakfast (breakfast lady super nice ♡)

You are also given two free bar drinks, per adult when you check in! Lady Bartender was very nice and helpful Room was clean, nice dispenser on shower wall with shampoo, conditioner and body wash (No little bottles to have to deal with), bed very comfortable, but pillows were super thick (left me with a stiff neck for a bit), but if overly thick pillows are your thing they got you covered There is nice dinning in both directions within walking distance, so no need to drive again, once you arrive Overall nice experience, with staff who truly care about their guests Will definitely use them again!!

Derik De Baun

I was in town for business and was assigned a place here I’ve heard of this chain but never experienced it The room was very nice and comfortable

The beds are quite soft with fluffy pillows Every morning waking up at 06:00 I felt fully recharged! My only critique is that the TV set had poor sound One would have to turn up the volume quite high to hear something while sitting on the bed or the sofa Still, it’s not enough of a thing to knock off a star There are renovations happening with their lobby and kitchen areas but it never negatively affected my stay Staff members are courteous and efficient! One wish: Make the pool area 18+ after a certain time, say 20:00 – 22:00 The pool looked amazing but it was always filled with so many rowdy kids that I never got to enjoy it during my entire stay

This resort is absolutely beautiful Nice spacious sites Lots of trees for shade

Less than five minutes off freeway Walking distance to the water park Has a great little store in the officeWhen we arrived the person was still in the site we were to go in We were only staying one night so the very friendly office person upgraded us to a super site and WOW I’m glad she did They are super spacious and very private To be able to have my front door open up to a wide open field was heaven and worth the extra cost Would absolutely book it againWe left really early so I didn’t get a chance to mention it but the dog park area needs some work There are sharp fence pieces sticking out that could potentially injur a dog I did call to advise of this later in the day

We stay at Premier 2-3 times a year to visit family in the area I love this RV Park It is clean, the people are very nice

But the main reason why I originally chose this spot was because of security at night in the park This is a bad neighborhood It is scary to me, to run up to the grocery store by myself Armed security at the store homeless people everywhereI was up all night with a sick dog and walked the park all times of the night No security My husband wasn’t walking with me because there is normally security I asked the front desk where the security was? She said they are on a rotating schedule I said they were not here last night at all She then told me again that they are on a rotation (with an irritated voice) Without saying what the rotation is I said that I felt this neighborhood is bad She then told me all of Redding is a bad neighborhood I will be going back to Premier in the future because the park is beautiful Just next time with my pepper spray at the very least Just in case there is another rotation

Very clean, very reasonable price point <$100/night Quiet neighborhood Comfortable bed

Modern furnishings Well lit parking lot We stayed in Room #125 and the shower handle is broken amd it was difficult to get it turned for hot water We were up at 7am and no breakfast The bedside lights were very bright it would be an easy fix with warmer light bulbs I would pick this motel above the rest, they clearly care about their customers

BEWARE, READ THIS FIRST! Checked into room, hair and tiny bugs on the bed Went to throw those away in the toilet and noticed what looked like blood stains on the toilet seat Wiped off what I could but there was still a stain

Very shady people were watching us the whole time we were getting our luggage out of our vehicle All those things combined made us leave and check out withing 15 mins of checking in Lady at the front desk wouldnt do anything for me, not even a partial refund Very dissapointed and upset!

Decidedly the best B&B I have ever stayed The home has been beautifully renovated and updated I was impressed with the attention to detail from the decorations to the toiletries (locally sourced when possible and environmentally thoughtful) they provided

Oh, and I cannot forget to mention the comfort of the bed It was both surprising and outstanding Of course, the breakfast was delicious and served freshly prepared I found the hosts, Janelle and Kendall, incredibly kind and helpful They are a wealth of information regarding local events, sites to see, and recreational possibilities I really cannot recommend this B&B gem enough, and I am looking forward to my next visit Thank you, Janelle and Kendall

The BEST B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Beautiful rooms, super comfortable, new furniture and bathroom/shower hardware Our room, the California, was superiour in every detail and had views of the river Right on the Sacramento River, you can take a walk from the house or drive a short distance to a parking lot and walk the paved paths along the river and the Sundial Bridge

Amazing breakfast food and delicious coffee I honestly can’t think of one thing I could recommend to make it better You won’t be disappointed! Perfect for couples or families When you add the cost of a hotel plus your food, or if you get an AirBnB and have to buy all the food yourself and cook, you might as well just go to a REAL B&B and be treated like special guests for about the same price!

My husband and I stayed here on a vacation before our baby arrived We love staying at Bed & Breakfasts all over, but we would have to say this is the best one we’ve stayed at! The breakfasts every morning were amazing! Our room was better than we expected and Janelle was an amazing host! We highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Redding area, and we can’t wait to return!

Wow! Where do I start,? The customer service at the front desk was so accommodating and truly kind I felt like they genuinely care

and they do! When I got to my room I was so wonderfully surprised how fresh and spotlessly clean the room and bath and beddingwell, just everything! I had a very comfortable sleep as well I have to travel through Redding quite oftenso I plan to stay here every timeThis hotel has no down sidesALL 5 star ALL the way! Thank you!

While journeying, we stopped into Redding for the night and the Travelodge seemed the best option After arriving and reaching our room, we found a large room, complete with plenty of floor space and a full kitchenetEverything seemed clean, and well maintained, although the condition of the laminate floor and base boards was questionable in places

Note that this motel might not be suitable for accessibility reasons While I don’t know if they have more accessible room, the room we got was a bit challenging to get to, and the room itself had bumps and dips in the floor that could easily be tripped on if not careful The bathroom was also very cramped

HELEN HUANG

Front desk girl was very nice and informative However, the majority of our stay was unpleasant The first room we got had a broken toilet

It wouldn’t flush so the front desk assigned us a second room A radio (supposedly from cleaning crew) was left in the room Bath tub is very very shallow that water will never cover your body if you sit in it There’s a strong smell in the room and towels are not clean — have lots of hair in them And then at 5am in the morning the maintenance came to fix the toilet in our first room (which is right above us), and was very loud The place apparently don’t have good sound proofNo breakfast was offered They say they plan to offer breakfast in April
