The room was clean and plenty of room for my family of 5 Plenty of drawer space Everything was great! The young man, Travis, in the dining area was a kind, hard working employee

He was very pleasant and was helpful and did it all with a smile! The only issue we had was the elevator button to the first floor was broken 2 of the 3 days we stayed Taking the stairs was not a problem except we have a daughter in a wheelchair and made it a slight inconvenience But other than that we would stay here again!! Everyone was pleasant from the front desk staff to the cleaning staffStaff-great and friendlyBreakfast-very good!Pool-goodHot tub- not workingRoom-clean and very roomyBeds and sofa bed-very comfortable!!Parking-very convenient and free!Fitness room-was goodWe will return soon!Trip typeFamilyRooms50Service50Location50

I Love this hotel! My fiancé and I travel quite often from Indiana This is the only hotel I feel comfortable in when we’re in Rockford The rooms are very clean and the beds are extra comfy! The staff at the front desk and the housekeepers go above and beyond

And the breakfast is very good I can go on and on about all the great things that this hotel has to offer It is most definitely recommended and if I can give 10 stars I would

Dylan Caldwell

Residence Inn, COME ON!!!!! We drove all day and got here First room we’re given we open the door and it legit looked like someone had been partying in the room ALL DAY!! I mean not like “hey this room isn’t very clean” I mean the beds were fully torn up, there was a fold out bed in the middle room open with the sheets off of it, and balloons all over the floor We thought we walked in on other people sleeping at first! Back to the desk, mistakes happen

Room 2 Ride the rickety elevator up to the 3rd floor, go to the room, open the door and this room is almost exactly the same except a GIANT pile of pizza boxes are there instead of balloons everywhere The room is a disaster Back to the desk Third room the very appologetic guy at the counter goes and checks first (good idea) The room was a solid okay at best As pretty much every other review has said this place is outdated and worn Sounds like the cleaning staff is as well Time to fix this one Residence Our compensation2 free bottles of water! Nailed it

Consistent stellar front desk assistance every time I stay! I need accessibility features, and these rooms have safety bars and benches exactly where I need them When traveling, they give me a sense of the comforts of home Always more than advertised, ALWAYS more than is expected

Every time The deserve more stars than are available!

Josh Harmon

Nice and clean hotel and the staff always seems friendly and in a good mood I stay here quite a bit for travel for work Sadly might have to look else where as I drive an EV and stayed here cause they let me use there 120 outlet where there was also a parking space

Now with winter they have both spots taken up with snow removal equipment As I am out of town for usually more then a day rather not have it not charging on a cold night Also the sleep number beds are hit and miss on comfort

Terrance Alexander

We stopped at this Radisson for one evening on our drive to Minnesota It was quiet, comfortable, and clean Staff were friendly and helpful and the covid precautions were in full force, even though the state had ended most of them already

Overall it was a pleasant night If there were anything I would change it would be to provide some type of continental breakfast, or at least coffee in the lobby, as the room rates are fairly steep compared to most hotels we’ve stayed at recently

Poor homeless lady i’ve been helping needed a place to stay i have already paid for her a few nights here before and he said he only had more expensive rooms available for her than she normally stays in tonight i told him i would happily pay the difference

he repeats himself “theyre more expensive” i say thats fine we’ll take it! he then proceeds to tell me he doesnt have any available after he just told me he did! I questioned him changing his statement only for him to tell me he wasnt going to let her rent it for the night!!!! Talk about discrimination!!! Someone who needs it most!!! Its freezing out and shes sleeping outside!!!! Who on earth is that heartless!!! Not a business i want to support!!!

Jody Stanley

The man that worked Tuesday evening, January 12, 2021 refused us service We called and explained that our vehicle broke down in Belvidere and asked if we could reserve a room He said “that sounds weird and I am not dealing with you”

What sounds weird? Cars break down all the time I hope the owner sees this I have never been treated so poorly Nice way to handle a customer at 11pm at night, in an unfamiliar area We went down the road to Americas Best Value and they were so nice and got us right in for the night

This camp is awesome! Fun and caring staff, balanced and creative activities make for a week my kids never forgetMy kids look forward to one day being a camp counselor, what am impact your team has madeThankful for Wal-Camp and the respite it gives

Keri Johnson

We love Walcamp! Our two boys go to summer camp here for a week every summer They both started out with the half-week discover camp as it was their first time away from home My youngest yelled at me when I picked him up and said, “Why did you come so early! I am going to miss all the best stuff!” Needless to say he went back for a full week the following year

My boys have done, Discovery, Classic, Owl Night, Treehouse and Teen Adventure camp At pickup today, my son said, “This week was too short” The boys have a wonderful time and you really can’t find any other overnight camp that will give you as much for such a small price! Sign your kids up for sure!

Seriously Very comfortable pillowsAir conditioner worked well Room was clean Bathroom was small But shower head was positioned well for short and tall people I’m short so this is important for me Wonderfully friendly desk attendant Very accommodating Only complaintbreakfast Make the coffee stronger please It was basically colored water It was terrible However, well stay here again on our way home from the East coast to MNthe beds were great

Lori Bayne

Location great, right off i-90 Very limited tractor-trailer parking, you can park across from the hotel on the street (watch for hydrants), but there is no space in the parking lot Breakfast was good, there are several items to choose from

Rooms were clean, as well as the comfortable bedding Our shower needed a seal around the door Staying here is recommended

Patrick Villacorta

Stayed for a night driving through Illinois Well maintained, clean hotel Warm breakfast (bacon and eggs in our case) aong with the usual continental options

Convenient for those travelling on I-90 Looks like it’s close to a casino, several restaurants and another “interesting” neighbour First time I’ve seen those pancake machines

This hotel was hands down awesome!! From the moment you get out your car to the front desk Everyone was so helpful and attentiveThe breakfast was delicious a chef prepares your food for you and a extremely sweet lady brings it to you (I forgot her name)

Our room was nice, clean and spacious The housekeepers were very courteous and happy It was nice to see

Ruth Neunlist-Conn

The service was excellent! The room was very nice , and immaculately clean We ordered room service from the restaurant for dinner It was delicious! Breakfast the next morning was also very good

I would recommend this location to anyone! We enjoyed our stay very much

Jordan Czajka

The hotel is right next to a major highway You can easily hear semi trucks 24/7 I had a north facing room on the east end of the building

The windows don’t do much for sound proofing I don’t suggest sleeping there if you’re a light sleeper, but maybe the backside or west end would be betterOther than the above, it’s a good hotel

It’s a hotel, plain and simple Our situation – traveled from central Illinois the morning of, went to a competition for two kids, arrived at the hotel around 1:15pm My wife was told there were absolutely NO rooms available for check-in – nothing clean and ready

When I asked, about an hour later, just waiting in the car with the kids, was told the same thing, with more detail Allegedly the main housekeeper inspects every room before they are “released” to the system for guest check-in Never heard of that before but maybe that’s just another thing “unique” about this hotel Another – their restrictive use of the pool, mentioned by others as well Your use has to be scheduled and is limited to 50 minutes If you have a family with kids and using a hotel pool is normal part of your hotel-stay experience, bewareDuring breakfast the next morning, the breakfast area was full, which aligns with what staff claimed from the night before Given there were many many families with kids staying, there was a severe lack of seating It appeared half or more of the chairs that should be at the tables were gone, forcing people to either huddle around a table and try to eat, take your food to your room, or juggle chairs with other families We swapped with other folks no fewer than 3 times I gave up my seat to a mom trying to eat a waffle standing over the tableHave you ever taken a shower at a hotel and not had hot water? You certainly can here Quite the experience A new one to me in fact I feel I’ve stayed at even cheaper hotels that NEVER ran out of hot water Maybe the hot water is rationed along side the pool use, dining chairs and ICE Yes ice Beware the signs that tell you NOT to fill your cooler from the ice machineI can’t recall the last time we ran into so many stupid/petty/inconvenient/down-right poorly-administered aspects of a hotel stayNext to the Interstate, check Next to a gas station, check Close to restaurant options, checkLike anything else, we all have different expectations Maybe someone else is simply okay knowing they won’t get shot in the hallwayby the housekeeping lead She’s busy “releasing” rooms for guest use

The room was amazing! We had a lot of room for a family of 5 I think the parking could improve as we didn’t have room to park near the hotel It would be nice if the embassy could have their own parking lot for their guests and not be shared with the public

The breakfast was lacking quality unless you got a fresh cooked omelette During the reception time, they made pretty strong drinks! The pool was ice cold but it was a nice salt water pool and not chlorine Softer on my skin and hair! Overall, the Embassy staff is amazing They make sure we are comfortable and make sure we have everything we need Even during breakfast they are asking how our stay is This is one of the reasons we will choose the Embassy time and time again

This hotel is a gem The vibe is contemporary, but there’s a feeling of history that was not lost in converting this aging manufacturing facility into a hospitality center The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable, the restaurant and bar energetic but calming

There is a driving aesthetic throughout that marries the old with the new The views are stunning from the rooftop bar The staff is very friendly and clearly proud to be associated with a place that is so cool in all respects

Chris Fleming (Chris Fleming Paranormal)

Wonderful hotel The room was massive for the price Extremely clean and amazed by the large hallways and impressed with the elevator intelligence system

Had dinner at the hotel and the food was extremely good Parking was full so had to park a block away, but regardless this hotel is top of its game and I do hope to stay here again Swam in the pool (which was way over chlorinated, probably due to post COVID) but had to leave as eyes were burning This would be a great place to stay during any of the music festivals Good job Hilton! Impressive hotel

I can’t express how much I appreciate the staff of this place We came into town due to a family member that was going to be passing soon, we did not know how many nights we would need, needing an extra night, I went to the front desk and was greeted by a friendly woman who helped me out and ensured me that we would have a room at an very fair rate They gave us peace of mind knowing we could focus on our family and not where we would be sleeping

Rooms are clean, nice with a comfy bed Appliances look to be in good shape with a two burner stove and a full size fridge It was quite around the hotel the entire time even though you could tell there was a lot of guests staying here If you find your self in need of a stay, short term or long term, we highly recommend this locationThank you again from the bottom of our hearts

Clean and comfortable Outstanding customer service Rooms are larger than most and include kitchenette

Utensils, although not top grade, are provided and waiting in dishwasher upon arrival Good TV channel selection and price can’t be beat Some people can be way too noisy Talking loud and TV at ear bleeding level Parking is easy and there is a gas grill available for use

Great comfy king-size bed and well laid out room but with a noisy air-conditioning unit Good sports bar and traditional restaurant on site and also within walking distance of some other restaurants and hotels The stay was good but it was disappointing to find there was no housekeeping service on a Saturday

However towels and bedsheets were provided for a DIY job The bath tub did not seal but this was promptly attended to by myself with a quick engineering adjustmentValue for money generally good at around $150 a night

Andrew Schaeffer

So, the hotel is nice, but the front desk is quite disorganized We are staying for a wedding, and the group rate was not a significant discount off the standard rate – so we booked with IHG Points We called up to have our room joined to the group block, and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful – he even informed us that the group rate is less than we were initially told by $35/night

He then offered to book us under the group rate and cancel our IHG Points nights, which we didToday, we have arrived at the hotel, and the nightly rate we are charged is the initial rate ($35/night more than what we were convinced to pay on the phone!!)So, we told the front desk to just use the IHG Points after all, and it will be fine – BUT! – surprise, there are no rooms available to book with points, so we are stuck paying the bait-and-switch rate, costing us $70+tax more overall I’d recommend if you must plan on staying here, keep in mind that the desk staff here are not really aware of what’s going on, so perform all your bookings and adjustments online

Best B.

The rooms are clean and everything is in perfect repair It’s a small thing but I liked that they have the slow closing toilet lids that don’t slam The towels, washcloths, Linens are all clean and bright and thick

The shower is high efficiency but the water is good and hot There is a mini fridge and a microwave and coffee maker and ironing board and hair dryer in the room The television is a large screen flat TV and there is a table and chair to sit and make notes There is no free breakfast but there is an attached restaurant that serves breakfast The front desk was friendly and helpful and they have free newspapers and a pool USB ports are built into the bedside table for recharging phones The pool area is extensive and beautiful

I work at a nearby pizza place, and I visit every hotel in the district nearby multiple times a week Fairfield definitely would be in my top 3 for all of the hotels in Rockford This Fairfield inn, although I’ve never stayed, is a hotel I’d definitely recommend to any friends

Lobby is modern and clean, fair price, and from what I’ve seen of the rooms they are very nice Staff is super polite and a joy to talk to

Reese Felker

The room was nice and spacious and the air conditioner was new The room was visually appealing, however; the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly, the plastic molding on the corners of the wall were broken and the USB outlets were broken as well All of the staff was nice

They could have been a little more accommodating when we asked for shampoo but that’s minor Their breakfast was ok They make the waffles in the back and then put them in a warmer so they get hard as a rock fairly quickly which is rough for toddlers Their selection was also slimmer than other hot breakfast but they did have a little bit of everything (Waffles, oatmeal and fixings, one flavor muffin, one fruit, veggie sausage, bagels, scrambled eggs, yogurt and basic cereal) Their breakfast attendant kept everything pretty well stocked and kept the tables clean Overall it’s a nice hotel for a decent price

Benji Tri

Service was always friendly and prompt, breakfast was not spectacular, BUT it was free and had plenty of options from sausage to cereal, fruit to waffles, omelets to oatmeal Room was clean and pleasant, workout room had plenty of treadmills (but the treadmill TVs were a little wonky) Fairly close to the soccer tournament we were attending, and right off the highway (without the highway noise)

Appalling!3:30 in the morning and some party on the first floor has been going on for several hours, keeping guests awake all night Hotel management does not seem to careI get the pet friendly thing but that doesn’t mean the place has to smell like a kennel

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever hadI would give this hotel 0 stars but it won’t let meIf this hotel is all you can get as you pass through Rockford, save yourself and keep moving on!

Exhale! Let’s start with the positive, it’s short A lot of businesses near by Nice general location

Convenient parking The room layout was niceMy daughter and I arrived and went to check in The lobby has this worn dated carpeting and it smelled mildewed and musty I had to wait 10 mins before being assisted A guy was taking up trash in the lobby and said someone will be with you The someone was in an office inside the reception area He closed the door and continued talking on the phone He comes out and by this time 2 other customers are milling around for help He says I had a family emergency, can I help you? No apologies for the inconvenience He didn’t ask who was here first I said I need to check in He turns to a female customer he appeared to recognize and she said she needed change He proceeded to help that customer and force me to wait longer To justify his actions he states, “I would hate to have you wait for change when checking her in will take longer” Then he turns to me and says, “ID” Then he asked is anyone staying with you? I said yes, my daughter Then he says ID to her We looked puzzled and asked why do you need her ID? To which he responded, “it’s policy” To which I responded that I traveled often and I’ve never had a guest in the room I’ve reserved and I am paying for, be asked for an ID He responded, “I travel too and I get asked all the time” Then he proceeded to tell us, “any guests need to come and show their ID as well” The hotel is single level, you walk up to the doors from the parking lot You never need to enter the lobby unless you need something I commented how that didn’t make senseThe room It smelled stale The carpet sticks to your shoes as if it’s never been shampooed They do not vacuum because there is food on the floor They do not dust because there are cobwebs everywhere The vent in the bathroom has mold or mildew on it The shower lining has stainsThere were people/guests hanging out in the parking lot Last night guests were extremely loud inside their room and outside I felt like I was in a First 48 murder scene My daughter said it reminded her of the “Lazy-O,” from the Netflix’s show Ozark I did not feel comfortable leaving anything in my car I sincerely felt like I was going to come out to my car on bricks#JustStaySomewhereElse #NeverAgain #Disappointed
