This hotel is both charming and hip It’s a beautiful old school property, but modernized with digital controls for everything; amenities include a multi-colored lighted shower with digital temp control for the water and fixtures, a digital mirror, mood lighting and automatic window panels The staff we encountered on property were top notch

We enjoyed a bottle of our own wine on the roof top deckit was so nice! And when that roof top bar reopens it will be amazing The area is fantastic, and the room location has limited street traffic, so we had zero noise overnight We immensely enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again The perfect way to end our trip in Texas

Our stay at the Sinclair was just perfect!!! What a beautiful hotel in the very charming downtown Fort Worth We walked to dinner, coffee and the Water Gardens and just had a fantastic time The Wicked Butcher restaurant has a great vibe and delicious food

The room has everything you need and the Smart Shower and Smart Bath Mirror were fabulous We will definitely go back to stay again I can’t wait for the Rooftop Bar to open up again!!

Karen Roberts

My sisters and I booked a room to celebrate my oldest sisters birthday When we arrived, our room was not ready, and we were concerned we would miss our dinner reservations Immediately, the manager Nick, and front desk clerk Sadie jumped into action

They set us up in the penthouse to shower and get ready for dinner, and assured us when we returned they would have us set up in our new roomWhen we returned from dinner Nick greeted us as soon as we walked in and informed us that we would be able to have the suite for the night! The room was exquisite, and much more than we expected However, what really set our stay over the top was the customer service Nick checked on us multiple times throughout our stay and took care of the entirety of our visit We will be returning as a direct result of his kindness and professionalism

This is my all time favorite hotel! The employees are the best of the best We were there almost a week, and nothing changed They were all very personable, never seemed impatient, always laughed and talked, seemed as if they became friends

No matter what, they were perfect!!!! No problems with anything at this Aloft location And the Smart Elevators? Wow, Just Wow! Took a couple of times to master, yet were fantastic! We especially loved the snack area–very good variety Fantastic breakfast menu! The rooms–specifically the King Suites were amazing!!!!!! Huge!!!!!!!! Will recommend to others, for sure!!!

Matt Roosien

Hotel was nice and rooms were pretty modern Front desk was made aware that both rooms we stayed in had hair found in the showers One room was cleaned on our own but the other took multiple messages to explain the issue and even after they were told there was still hair, they noticed it, cleaned it, but hair still found on the shower walls

Very poor cleaning process

Michael Harn

First, I’d like to say we had some good experiences and really appreciated Kim & Erlyna for making it better They were the best employees we encountered during our 7 days They did what was within their control to make our stay comfortable

The lower score is due to the lack of housekeeping and poor cleanliness of our 1st room I responded to the Tell us About Your Stay email with details

We had a short stay for business We used the Drover facilities and stayed the nightThe service was excellent

The food provided for our meetings was delicious and had a great varietyMy room was small but comfortable The bathroom was clean and the brass, antique style shower was interesting and refreshingI’ll be back with family for a fun weekend Too many things within walking distance to name

Amber Morris

Staff was top notch The impeccable attention to detail with the decor was out of this world Every turn there is a surprise and if you keep looking, you’ll find more subtle touches of Americana and ode to the southwest

It smells delicious in the hotelOnly giving four stars because I feel like for the price of this hotel there should be in room dining and better coffee in the room It was really bad coffee and super cheap coffee fixings Have had better at CourtyardsThe pool seems kind of small for the size of the hotel as well, but it was really beautiful Would love to go back and experience this place in the winter with the firepit

Fred Peabody

The Hotel staff were friendly My room was large and clean Bed comfortable

Pool clean and well maintained Everything you could hope for The dining was the worst mess of disorganization I’ve ever seen They opened at 7AM, but were not ready and unable to serve the people expecting to eat So, on short notice, they announced that Saturday, they’d not open until 8AM People showing up at 830 were told to return in a few hours for breakfast They didn’t seem concerned of the inconvenience this caused I’ve had better breakfast service in a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or others So, if I have to seek out a meal at another place, I might as well stay at another clean, comfortable, cheaper hotel, then go to a real restaurant Coffee isn’t available in the Lobby, but $5 a cup at the restaurant Breakfast for a light eater can easily top $25

Best Hilton Garden Inn stay ever Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were pleasant, professional and attentive The lobby is impressive, nice workout room, convenient to a lot of places

The breakfast was prepared to my liking and everything was delicious! The view wasn’t too shabby either, and when I came in from a long, tiring day, I felt like I was on a cruise The housekeeper had made a bunny for my toothbrush When I come to work in Fort Worth again, this is definitely where I will stay Thanks Hilton!

Mark Faur

Good and clean There is a great bar within walking distance Everyone was smiling and nice

The room had actual snacks and drinks, like gatorade and coke Have not seen this kind of service in a while!!! Here a classic example of how you could spend 5 extra dollars and make someone’s stay great Will definitely be back at your place guys!!

Tatyana Proano

I had a wonderful experience this past weekend at the (HGI) The rooms were clean, the staff was attentive and provided great customer service I needed extra towels and after calling the front office the FD clerk sent up towels within three minutes

Much appreciated! The breakfast area was clean and the manager on duty was helpful when asked questions or needed suggestions on what to order I ordered French toast, eggs with bacon and I recommend anyone who is a French toast lover to order it Very good! The location was perfect when traveling with your family and doggy There is a convenient dog area around the hotel with doggy bags which was great since I had forgotten mine upstairs lol Also the zoo was less than five mins away The freeway is around the block to take you anywhere around the FW downtown area I will be returning and I thank everyone at the hotel for their hospitality

This hotel is absolutely charming! I attended a work conference at this hotel and the staff and room were top notch The room was clean and well decorated I was assigned a corner room, so the amount of windows made for an amazing view

The restroom was spacious and clean The meeting rooms were well equipped and created a nice space for our company meetings The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars, which made for fun times after work meetings My only reservation about this hotel is they charged me $8 for a water that never got opened I called to inquire about the charge, told them I didn’t touch the water, as I had me own The gentlemen that answered the phone said it would be refunded, but it still hasn’t been

Chancy from TX

I attended a work event at the convention center The hotels recommended for the convention were booked already but I saw a listing for the Harper The other reviews were good so I went ahead and booked it, though I was slightly hesitant because it was a name I didn’t recognize

I was very happy with the decisionThe hotel is very nice, and a great location Very close to restaurants and bars in the area The service at the check-in counter and bar/restaurant were great I’d highly recommend the chicken sliders And they had a good selection of adult spirits Tori the bartender was awesome, and very knowledgeable about some local places to try I do not think they had a pool, but they did have exercise facilities and office facilitiesI had a queen room that was great, with a wide open view from the 23rd floor The room was very spacious, comfortable, and cool even in the Texas heat Very big bathroom with a walk-in shower Everything was very clean, up-to-date, and new looking The only drawback to the room was that there was no coffee maker, but the hotel did have coffee available in the mornings I rarely give things a full five stars, but I was very happy at this place

Katie Keup

Stayed here with our 5 dogs and the Harper by far was the favorite property! We loved every minute of our stay The staff was incredible, huge room and very clean, comfortable beds! Valet parking so nice to have

We were treated so well, our dogs were welcomed and loved We love Kimpton brands and will only stay with them looking forward to staying at the Harper again Thanks for making it wonderful and memorable

From the time I arrived their were issues My room smelled like mildew and I had to be moved The television service was limited and terribly outdated

No streaming ability or option to watch movies The remote was dirty with food The public bathrooms in the hotel were smelly and not functioning properly Toilets were not flushing and some faucets were spraying water everywhere when washing your hands Soap dispensers and paper towel holders were empty There was a big leak on the second floor coming through the ceiling being caught by a very large garbage can at least 50-60 gallons in sizeThere was also mold growing on the vents in a hallway leading to a bridge that takes you to another building The building needs some TLC and updates There is also a security issue The doors are unlocked all night and there are not cameras on the floors or at a lot of the many doors and exits around the building For this to be a historic hotel and a place where a historical event took place by a US president staying here and having a speech in the crystal ballroom, as a federal government employee, I was very disappointed in this Hilton brand hotelEven the meeting rooms looked like they were falling apart The wall dividers were torn and falling apart at the base of them the crystals in the lighting were old and cloudy needing to be replacedThe beds were completely uncomfortable and some of the pillows were flat Also the temperature controls in the rooms were pretty badOther than that the cleaning crew was awesome They little older lady at the coffee shop and restaurant was very nice also

Robert Velez

Yes, it’s a historical place Yes, it’s a Hilton The room I had was fine

Large and clean with pretty good appointmentsMy beef is rooted in a couple of things:1) The elevators: our organization had a conference there Our group arrived on Wednesday night with about 30 in our party There was one – ONE – person at the desk After 10+ hours on a bus, the last thing we all wanted to do was have to wait for one person to check us all in Unacceptable! They knew our conference had hundreds of participants checking in that day One person at the desk? There’s really no excuse2) The smell: we had access to the executive lounge on the 15th floor, but couldn’t use it because of a swampy, musty smell That issue spread throughout the conference areas on the third floor3) The common areas were cold! I had to wear a jacket indoors because of the temperature What the heck? It was over 80 degrees outside I like it cool, don’t get me wrong, but this was uncomfortably coldThe problems were NOT with staff They did the best they could The food they provided was good and prepared well The hotel, however, must be poorly managed for there to be such issues Mind you, it did NOT rain while we were there, so something else was causing the musty smell (which honestly gave me a headache and made me feel ill)

Chuck Libby

Nice hotel!! We stayed for 4 days Staff was great until we were leaving We should’ve ask about a porter for our luggage, but since the valet guy helped us with our luggage all up to our room when we checked in we assumed they would help us load them in truck when we were leaving

Funny to watch young man watching 2 old guys struggling with a couple of suitcases and then want a tip

Very fun staying at a hotel that was “back in time”! The bathroom was a bit tight & we had a challenge finding enough electrical plug-ins but made it work for the 2 night we were there Beautiful lobby & we enjoyed being able to sit out in front of the hotel & people watch Though I wasn’t able to do any walking, my husband saw lots on his morning walks

wrathof don

First time staying here, long time wanting to Stayed in the Outlaw Room, big suite overlooking the main drag Six foot tall shutters with what could be old bullet holes? Probably not but looks good

Room is rustic but sufficient and comfortable Staff will go above and beyond to meet your needs Really neat place to stay that is 140+ years old 4 stars because price is steep for what you get Hopefully tho this place stays around another 100 years, plenty of history here

This establishment is phenomenal!! The staff is comprised of a group of wonderful people who value the customer and conduct themselves with the utmost integrity We misplaced a wallet that had $355, as well other important documents in it Maria (housekeeping) found it and turned it in to Jana ( the daytime desk attendant) who called us to inform us of the news

Jana was as jubilant as we were about the discovery What a blessing and a testament to their character!! In addition, the room and the hotel, in general, were great—clean and spacious I would highly recommend them for short-term or long-term lodging!! Great staff and manager at this location!!!

Jill Skarecky

Waited over an hour after official check in time for a room to be ready for us, then the a/c didn’t work and had to switch rooms Rooms are older, first room on the first floor was just plain beat up Second room was on the 3rd floor was in much better condition but still needed repair

Internet was horrible Didn’t try the breakfast, laundry facility was nice

Kayla Hoover

I booked as an affiliated employee Typically we get the worst rooms due to the discounted rate, AND it was a weekend However, we walked into a beautiful suite

I really appreciated it Unfortunately the bathroom light didn’t work so we were moved to another room With an upgrade! The check in and the whole process was enjoyable Also, my deposit was returned the same day I don’t know her name, but our GSA was awesome Abby I think Thank you to her! You go girl!

Everything was great Our room was nice and clean We didn’t get an attitude when we asked for extra pillows and towels

We had a microwave, everytbing we needed for coffee and the had water in our room The bed was very comfortable to sleep in Parking was nice to conveniently located near our room I came for an event and the hotel was located in a decent area, possibly 20 minutes from the hotel

Laverne Solis

We had a great stay, it was clean & staff was great My only combos in the morning for breakfast you should have a better system for cooking the waffles & omlets Having only one person at each station making one at a time during spring break was a poor choice

We ended up leaving to get breakfast somewhere else as the lines were long & we didn’t move much after waiting for 10 mins We had a tournament to get to and we’re hoping to eat at the hotel prior This didn’t happen as they were not staffed to cook for several people

April 2022-Great value and great comfort! Working A/C with cold air, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and clean roomTowel service-we had to bring our dirty towels to the front desk when requesting new clean towels I didn’t mind, as they were short housekeeping staff

I will pack a couple of my own towels next stay because once, the front desk said they were out of towels and we had to use hand towels Plan ahead, exchange for clean towels ahead of time, don’t wait until the last minute, is my adviceDownside-the sofa bed was broke, so we put the sofa mattress on the floor Very thin mattress and very uncomfortable Next time we will bring an egg crate to help with the comfortOur last evening, dogs were staying in the hotel and the front lobby, elevator and hallway from lobby to the elevator smelled very bad The dogs needed to be bathed and I’m sure the very hot temperatures outside, didn’t helpThe odor was so strong we could not use the elevatorI would Stay again and will plan ahead, bring bedding items to help make the sofa mattress more comfortable

Shaquinta Jenay

The elevator and hallway smells horrible I pulled out the sofa bed and there was all kind of trash under the couch and the mattress on it was filthy so me and both kids slept in the king I woke up at 6am to use the restroom and saw a huge roach in the bathroom

We checked out immediately after There was no way I’d be able to go back to sleep knowing there was a roach in my room As we were leaving we saw another roach on the wall in the hallway Disgusting

Cathy McNulty

I SO wish I could give the place a FULL 5-star rating, but the beds

oh my! If you like a firm mattress, this is the perfect place for you Personally, I can’t sleep on a firm mattress due to spine issuesHowever, the property is well lit, felt safe arriving late in the evening, CLEAN and beautifully updated furnishings, free breakfast and wi-fi, pet friendly (for a refundable deposit and extra fee per night), and great staff! The rates were excellent at the time we stopped overnight on a road trip They have a king suite with a whirlpool tub for 2, but not sure how many rooms are configured in this manner There’s a great mix of rooms to fit nearly everyone’s needsConvenient location that allows you to bypass the busy downtown traffic, if just passing through Just keep in mind the mattresses The bedding was excellent and room was clean But, it was a rough, toss & turn night for myself

For what we paid, I expected better Overall, the rooms were clean, I appreciated breakfast, and the easy walk to The Stockyards was perfect I also enjoyed the pool and the smell of the provided body wash

If it was cheaper, I’d stay again But at this price point, the following was not satisfactoryThe fresh sheets in two of our rooms were damp/wet upon arrivalThe bathroom faucet knob falls offThe bathroom door is a barn door (doesn’t seal in smells or steam) and the door handle slams into the wall because there’s no stopThe room smells kind of musty if the air isn’t on

Melissa Ellis

Pretty hotel and great location, but wayoverpriced We stayed in 2nd large kingroom and it was 400 first night and 1662nd night No service, no room clean (theydid not even take out the trash), and wehad to go to the front desk to get toiletpaper

Breakfast was fair …sausage wascrisp and everything was just standardfare The staff was nice and beds comfy, but I would never pay that price again Feltripped off at SH Suites On a positive note, the rooftop restaurant was beautiful andthe tapas were top notch The drinks wereexcellent but we paid about $16 each Beautiful view

Dawn Brown

Nice, new hotel in the heart of the Stockyards Super comfy bed and a wonderful breakfast made our staycation so relaxingWe had drinks and a bite to eat at the rooftop restaurant Ático and enjoyed beautiful sunset!Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful hotel right across from the Conference Center The beds are incredibly comfortable and the robes are so soft! Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room tidy while also being respectful with all of mine and my roommates belongings We had a lot of makeup, hair products, shoes, and clothes everywhere from changing multiple times a day for events… Truly felt like we had maid service

They deserve extra praise! 10/10 would recommend

Lalania Neal

I mean

the room was nice and the view was okay, but it’s a bit dated for the price Our room was pretty clean and very comfortable The floors were really dirty and I had to clean the hair and trash off the floor I noticed the dirty floors in the hallway also There was something that I hope was just chocolate on the light switch that I used a sanitized wipe to clean off I do like that they use large bottles in the shower that they refill rather than individual bottles which tend to just get tossed out The room was nice and cool, well appointed I forgot my macaroons in the fridge, so, hopefully they found them 😅 the lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff was amazing and answered all my tedious questions Room service was excellent 👌 👏 great food! This was our second visit and I’m thinking there’s no need to upgrade to a corner room for the view next time Valet service was also nice

I did not stay in a room, my family went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was fabulous The flowers and ice sculptures were beautiful! The food was fantastic, so many options to choose from, and there was even a section of items for children My children enjoyed decorating their own cookie! The service was great, everyone was very nice and polite

This is our second year in a row for brunch on Mother’s Day and can’t wait for next year!

Main areas were clean and breakfast was good Staff was friendly Room was clean but in need of repairs

Specifically, the bathroom tiles were missing grout and needed repair, nails stuck out from the carpet where it transitioned from carpet to the tile, the bath tub needed to be replaced or resurfaced, the bathroom door did not shut properly, and furniture was well worn The door into the room had a gap at the top large enough to see light into the room The pool and hot tub were open, pool was clean and comfortable temperature but the ceiling was being repaired so a large area was roped off and floor covered in plasticRoom rate was $80 +tax for a weekday I would not stay there again

noisyno NOISY! Hotels are all about location, location, location and this location is a stones through from one of the busiest interstates in Texas if not the country and all the noise that comes with it I requested a new room upon arrival but was met with a resounding “No” from the desk clerk on duty about 3 PM The room was adequate but nothing special The hotel is dated and in need of a major upgrade This is like the Motel 6 of the Hilton family The full service breakfast was the best feature

This hotel has by far the most unprofessional breakfast host I have ever met While I was making a waffle she asked if I was making another because she needed to make one for her boss After I finished another guest approached and she told the guest she needed to make a waffle for her boss who had been waiting over an hour

She then cut in front of the guest and proceeded to make the waffle I and the guest stood in disbelief This situation really killed the overall experience for me and it was going great

This hotel is wonderful From the time you arrive until you depart the staff makes things very accommodating Valet is there to help with your things and park your car without hesitation, the front desk workers, especially Hunter, do a fantastic job of meeting your every need or request

The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean My family absolutely loves the separation between living room and bedroom Breakfast was wonderful, except the sausage Our only complaint was that the pool was ice cold and we couldn’t even enjoy it But we did relax in the hot tub so it wasn’t a bust We will definitely stay here again

Great stay, great location! Downtown Ft Worth has so much to offer and this hotel is in the middle of it The hotel is less than 2 blocks from Sundance square which was active late into the evening Ft Worth downtown feels safe and inviting any time of the day

We had some great meals next to the square but did not have time to enjoy the shops The hotel staff was friendly and helpful Parking is valet unless you self park in one of the garages within a block of the hotel but you will still pay a fee Our room was clean and spacious with great views of downtown Breakfast is included and had a very good selection including made to order eggs, omelets and pancakes It also included a buffet style of hot foods and a good selection of fruit, oatmeal, cold cereals, sausage, eggs and more Full beverage service Would definitely stay here again!

Lobby under construction, very loud I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished Our room had a lightbulb out in the bedside lamp

We did not have a do not disturb sign, we were not given a box of tissues The pool needs better ventilation, the chlorine smell was overwhelming so we only used the hot tub once in our 4 day stay The gym has a single recumbent bike There were more treadmills and elliptical machines One cable was broken on the weight lifting machine, so no chance to do symmetrical cable crossovers or chest presses I used the free weights and elliptical stepper We went to a banquet event The air conditioning was very cold, wish I brought a jacket The food was good and the staff was nice The breakfast room/ lounge was nice but I’m sure it will be next to be renovated The breakfast food has a lot of variety The happy hour is good too, don’t miss itOverall the people who work there are very helpful and pleasant

This HIE was good and is pretty typical No major issues Has breakfast, pool, gym, and laundry area

The pool was gross! Things floating with foam I mentioned to the desk and she said it’s cleaned multiple times a week, I asked when the last time was, she didn’t know Acted like she didn’t care too much One of the nicest things was a hand written personal note with a little snack Really nice

Rooms are really cleanPillows are super thin (pro tip, ask for 4-5 bath towels and stack them under the pillow)Another pro tip: AC unit rattles if you have the control door closed, be sure to leave it openSubpar room noise isolation, you will hear clomping from above rooms and the hallway Rolling a towel under your room door and blasting AC for white noise helps somewhatFront desk service is exceptionally good

Overall I recommend!

Motivate To Be Healthy

We came in Tuesday 29th for a business stay Front desk ckerk was pleasant Our room was nice and big

Our bed, nice and comfy The water temperature could have been better It never really got hot I found that I had to run the water first before getting into the shower so that it could be warm enough to shower Our breakfast could have been better It was less than average Its interesting that all Holdiday Inn’s are different when it comes to breakfast I suppose when you are pressed for time that this would make do They do have one washer and one dryer They have a pool, with a fitness center as well Its convenient to get on the freeway So location is good but the area is a little less than desirable I would suggest this stay
