We stayed at L’Ermitage for two weeks; each moment was notable with the myriad of amenities at the hotel and its wonderful staff Delaney was incredible and went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary At the restaurant, Nayeli made both my daughter and I feel so special every day! With a rooftop pool, delicious and accommodating restaurant, and close proximity to shopping, food, etc

, you will always have something to do! We hated leaving and will definitely be back with my husband soon!

Brit Geo

L’ermitage BH has monogrammed Frette pillowcases that they personalize with your initials and are yours to keep! I loved this place! We threw a last-minute party on the rooftop and the staff were excellent and provided everything we needed for a flawless event I will definitely stay here again In fact, I wish I stayed at the one in Florida instead of staying at The Breakers

Being a Marriott member I was looking for a place in LA for a few nights and came across Beverly Hills Marriott Reviews were good, place looked nice so I booked my stay The second I arrived the valet helped me out of my car and into the lobby

The front desk was quick and efficient and got me my room key quickly Went up to a very nice and modern room and everything was cleanI loved my stay here but there was just 1 thing holding me back from giving it 5 starsThe bedExtremely uncomfortable as I prefer firmer mattresses and my back was sore after both nights Also didn’t sleep well because of it too Not sure if they were older mattresses but I was not a fan Loved everything else about this place though and the staff was top notch

Stephen Shao Chi-Ching

In general, room, hotel services, location are pretty goodThe hotel itself is old and I can see some cracks here and there in toilet, but still functional By the way, I think they should renovate their elevator! They provide complementary morning coffee in the lobby (Starbucks) which is nice

However, for a hotel with nearly 300 USD per night, I expected more

Cindy Hynes

Kai and Charlie in Valet were amazing, we stayed the night with a 10-foot trailer in tow along with our pickup truck They were amazingly helpful in getting the car and trailer situated even in a city like Beverly Hills which as you may or may not know is impossible to park a trailer The staff was great, we travel for business often and I would stay there again and again

The rooms were small but clean, staff was friendlyThe only downside they charged my card twice on accident and I am working to get that situated 😉

This hotel was lovely Clean room, comfortable bed, comfortable sheets The decor is lovely

The staff were lovely Shout out to Robby who was always so helpful and went out of his way to help us Location is great, I felt very safe there was a store / pharmacy around the corner that was open 24/7 which was very convenient Slight issue with the plumbing / toilet not working 100% but I would definitely recommend staying here !!! Thank you!!!

AJ Hanson

Nice staff but rock hard beds The way hotel does early check-ins, late check-outs and housekeeping is interesting – having to pay for everything that’s normally by request only is odd This is great place to stay if you’re just looking for a place to crash but plan on being out and about most of your stay

Over all, not the worst place you could stay

Andres Loaiza

Was in the Beverly Hills area on business for first time Thursday-Friday stay The location is great

Valet parking for overnight stay ($30) Loads of restaurant options The hotel was very nice Room had ceiling fan & air conditioning For the price point, you get all you need Would definitely recommend A special thank you to Nathan & Veronica for their costumer service

The rooms are very nice and the bed is very comfortable However, the noise level when facing Sunset is pretty high, you hear everything on the street at night The TV in the room is impossible to watch if you’re sitting on the couch

Shower is fantastic though The service at the hotel is not quite up to par, imho – they’re not very proactive or eager to please The food at the breakfast restaurant is good, nice pastries too They’re only a few changes away from being great Good luck!

Jase

Top hotel experience – rooms are spacious, well designed and very comfortable The service was above and beyond, everyone is friendly and responsive Definitely a 5 star boutique experience

They picked up pizza for the kids, We had a fruit bowl the first night and and amazing tray of chocolate and cookies decorated with the logo of the soccer team we came to see in the Rose bowl! The rooms are pretty and very very clean! You have to eat at the patio it’s so beautiful and the food is incredible!!! And of course the location is top of the top!!!! Now the only thing we didn’t really enjoyed was the food on the pool area, not really the best … everything else was just perfect!

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE TERRACE,The restaurant at this hotel, not the hotel itselfUPDATE: We actually returned to this place with a friend Who is sitting at the next table? Timo Werner (If you don’t know, ask a soccer enthusiast)

Now back to our regularly scheduled reviewThe wife and I were back in Beverly Hills for breakfast again after taking care of some more business This time we went to the Terrace at the Maybourne Hotel It is along that green strip between North Beverly Drive and North Canon Drive It is a nice walk from where we were over on Rodeo DriveWe had reservations but we finished our business early and arrived to the restaurant early There was not much foot traffic in the restaurant because it was early We could choose between indoor and outdoor seating and, since this is Los Angeles and it never rains here, we sat outsideWe asked for water and coffee (we learned from last time) and they arrived promptly We looked over the menus and imagine my surprise when they did not have French Toast After overcoming my initial shock, I ordered their buttermilk pancakes The wife went with her standard two eggs and added a side of bacon The rest of the menu was typical breakfast fareThe food arrived presently and we began to eat The wife likes her bacon crisp, almost to the point of being burnt She asked for it to be crisp and she was very happy with the result The three slices of bacon were crisp The eggs were on toast and she was very happy with those also My pancakes, although there were only four of them, made quite a stack I was unable to eat them all, something I have rarely done in my life They were good and they absorbed all of my stomach acid filling me before I ate more than halfThe coffee was so good that we asked what kind it was The waitress said it was La Colombe It was dark but did not have the biting aftertaste that you usually get in Starbucks We will be buying some of that and trying it at homeOverall we were happy with our breakfast at the Terrace It was expensive but this is Beverly Hills, just around the corner from Wolfgang Puck’s place, so somebody has to pay the rent The check had an item on it stating something about 20% added The waiter said it was essentially the tip We were going to leave 20% anyway so it was fineUPDATE: The second time, there was no 20% on the check but there was a notice on the menu saying something about about adding 20% When you are about the order, it that is still in the fine print at the bottom of the menu, you may wish to askAlthough we would like to go back, that will probably have to wait until we win the lottery But, if you have already won the lottery we can recommend this place wholeheartedly

Tyler Nestved

It’s a really nice experience with excellent staff We really had a great time, the staff made it wonderful and are the reason it’s not a 3 star review The music was shared with a nearby dining place and they weren’t able to change it

The music was fine, it just wasn’t whiskey bar and cigar lounge fitting Also the restrooms were far away

David Weinberger

Want to love it but I can’t Nicely furnished hotel in a solid location, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired Housekeeping seemed to consistently avoid my room for some reason, even after I mentioned it to the front desk staff

On top of that, there was also a leak from my bathroom ceiling 🤷🏻‍♂️ The rooftop pool and restaurant is nice but small, so expect it to be crowded if you visit at peak times

Greg Backstrom

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here when the water at our home wasn’t working for a few days The room was comfortable, the service was nice, and the restaurant is great The hotel has a sort of resort fee even though it isn’t a resort, but the nice thing is you get a credit for each night you stay that you can use toward snacks and drinks from their mini-bodega at the front desk

While there isn’t much that is walkable, there’s a lot within a short drive, and they provide a free Lyft ride to a nearby location

Susana Perez

The location is great The rooms were spacious and clean, overall However, the communication is horrible! Was never informed that housekeeping was upon request

Secondly, left some items behind called right away, stated they were looking into it Not one call back from my multiple calls I did receive a general email from Kristina, replied to her over a week Again, no word Take full responsibility for leaving $300 sneakers behind but a courtesy call back, would’ve been nice

Large rooms with plenty of space Very comfortable bed and pillows Great blackout curtains

Sink sort of leaked water all over right side of bathroom counter and not great lighting, but still liked room We didnt use any of the food/bar or amenities so I cant comment to service, and location depends on what you’re doing, but the surrounding area was very nice

mike rhee

Best location to explore Los Angeles, close to everything A lot of places to eat and shop around Close proximity to tourist traps and else

Check in was easy, room was clean, decor was modern, everything worked in the room, elevator was fastBreakfast menu could be improved, due to their bakery items not being made in house, sometimes those items arrives later than early morning Valet personnel are very attentive, also text to retrieve the car is fast and easy

I stayed here for a few days while visiting friends and had a great experience The hotel is very clean and well run The staff is super friendly and helpful (especially the older gentlemen at the bar in the restaurant (Faruk?) he provided amazing service, was really great to chat with and clearly takes great pride in his work)

The rooms are spacious and I like the mini living room style set ups I enjoyed my time on the rooftop with views of the city while I worked The location is also great The only thing that could have been better was to get house keeping daily instead of only every three days (as I was only in there for a few days) Will definitely come back when I am in the area again and recommend to people

Julien Isaacs

One of the worst dining experiences of my life Completely empty restaurant on a Wednesday night Main food came 50 minutes after we ordered

Pasta was not warm Steak was like a brick So disappointing The staff seemed like they couldn’t have cared less and were just watching sports on TV Unbelievable level of customer serviceTo make matters worse, I vomited after the meal and my friend broke out in hives I wouldn’t be surprised if our food had been tampered withVery disappointing and I hope the hotel takes steps to remedy this awful service situation

So disappointed in our stay at the Mondrian this time Although the staff were lovely the hotel has lost its cool LA vibe We didn’t realize the pool area has now become an over 21 area after 1 pm Friday , Saturday and Sunday turning the whole outside area into a sleazy pick up joint for ages 21 to 30 which is great if that is want you’re looking for

But we had our 18 year old daughter with us and it would have been good to know this Also the lovely restaurant and hang out area was completely closed so really felt ripped off paying for these amenities we could not use We will definitely not be going back

A

Front desk staff are not polite, in fact very rude and dismissive upon check in and check out Cocktails at the pool were disgusting, gave a few different cocktails a go but all of them were terrible Don’t waste your time or money there when there are plenty of good bars around

Housekeeping did not replenish coffee, coffee cups or creamer, shampoo or body wash Nor did they take the trash out I checked in to a room that hadn’t been vacuumed, collected dust and hair on the bottoms of our feet and the bed sheets had a short curly hair in them (gross) Hallways and doors are in need of a renovation The best part: The room itself was nice and the bed was very comfortable All in all a very disappointing experience for the price and apparent reputationDisappointing and underwhelming sums it up

Josh Net

This Hotel’s pool area is fully open to the public We were full paying guests but had nowhere to sit or lounge around Instead we noticed Ubers dropping off individuals and they just walked into the pool area, no key or ID required

The view is not bad but they really really need to clean the pool, it was pretty dirty so that’s a bummer I agree with other previous guests that this is a party hotel It was loud DAY AND NIGHT Difficult to sleep and relax in the room with the obnoxious noise We also noticed two cockroaches in the tub but we took care of that ourselves so no big deal there I’ve stayed at 6 others in the area and this is by far my least favorite This hotel is not intended for people who want to relax and enjoy a nice clean pool No peace and quiet at this hotel Good luck!

We stayed in a downtown-facing suite which was absolutely gorgeous The view was incredible, and the amenities were above and beyond average The bathroom had several complimentary kits, a robe, slippers, and soft towels

The couch in the living room was very comfortable, the TV was nice, and they also had a Keurig and K-cups in the room (which were not a part of the mini-bar, totally included) The rooms were clean and the shower was even nicer than mine at home We loved InterContinental

Perfect location in the middle of West Hollywood a nice stroll from the Château Margot restaurant Nice hotel with the pool overlooking LA I have all nice memories about this place

At nights the rooftop night-club attracts large crowds of youngsters, and the hall can get a bit crowded but there is no noise throughout the hotel even on the adjoining floors where we stayed Not sure if they still do it but they had this cinema under the stars nights…dreamy and magical I understand not giving much info here, and will dig up some pics and post them, but it’s a place not to be missed if you can, even just the by the pool restaurant or the nightclub

The beer has to be served cold it wasn’t Price versus qualify 👎👎👎It’s a beautiful place 👍but they are still serving food like 1990s👎They have to learn from Delilah , I know it hurts but new money 💰 talks

Recently had dinner at the Sunset Hotel It truly is a beautiful classic hotel situated on Sunset Blvd Unfortunately the security staff at the entrance of the hotel and at the bar were very rude and even disrespectful when trying to get a drink at the bar despite us waiting to be seated

Once we spoke to the Maitre’D, she immediately seated us The food, cocktails and setting was fabulous and we had the sweetest waiter take care of us who truly saved our night Kudos to him I would recommend to go there but I would kindly ask the Maitre’D to giver her security staff a dressing down for future guests

If I could give 10 stars I would Logan, Chase, and Robert all were top notch and O have never experienced friendlier service They make you feel like family and are happy and knowledgeable regarding the history of the hotel

I usually stay at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey and its fantastic, but this place is really specialTip: buy the book “If these walls could Rock” from the concierge and read up and keep it as a souvenirA+ all around

Absolutely perfect stay! Was there this past Memorial day weekend Reserved junior suite and was upgraded to King suite Sweet! (Get it? :p) Room was amazing

Huge, clean, super quiet They had every amenity in the room- lots of towels, extra pillows, water, toiletries, coffee, etc They also cleaned room every day This was the closest experience to what we had before covid! Also loved the grounds of this hotel It’s huge, very lush and green We ate at Cavatina for Breakfast, lunch and dinner Wonderful! Location is super awesome It’s quiet residential street but very close to all the action in West Hollywood Staff were all super nice and helpful We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in LA

Gardens breathtaking Renovations right on point The “vibe” is still perfect

Villas could use one or two more trash cans Weekend breakfast service at Cavatina was a bit of a cluster– hostesses should be cross trained to assist wait staff when they are in the weeds But everything else was lovely as usual! Thank you We will be back!

I apologize for not taking more photos I enjoyed my massage at the spa it was absolutely delightful The massage therapist was very good

However I would say that they weigh overcharged for their services I very much enjoyed their food there breakfast is all I ate there and light bites for lunch at the pool everything was delicious The rooftop bar is fun however the pool is very small It seems much larger on their website in the pictures but it’s quite small The views from up there beautiful The staff is great Very good service Unfortunately though the drinks again are completely overpriced The bathtub was amazing in the bathroom the lighting could have been much better in the bathroom for being able to see myself as I was getting ready The room itself was nice but it could have been a little nicer and larger for the amount of money that they’re charging the small patio space was nice which is what they call a terrace but it also could have been a little bigger what some nice plants floral plants would have been nice it would have been a nice touch All in all I enjoyed my stay there

I would definitely stay here again for the location and the rooms It’s a great decor and a beautiful environment in and around the hotel I enjoyed the stay very much

The cons here are the service and the pool area The staff at registration are not very friendly and accommodating and the pool is quite small and the sunbathing area was full and I had to wait about an hour for a spot there My biggest complaint was not really a fault of the hotels completely but I had some emergency business that came up and I needed to stay in the room an extra 45 minutes or so The hotel was very far from full so there was really no emergency to vacate the room right away There were literally at least 8 notifications from different members of the staff asking when I plan on leaving and each of them said okay when I asked for an extra hour I literally checked out and left 45 minutes after my scheduled checkout so I’m not sure what all the aggression was about

Front desk amazing, restaurant in lobby top tier, rooftop pool service 0 The service on the rooftop is horrible No greeting s no acknowledgment and I was there over half an hour and not serviced

It was like another world from the service and amazing hospitality in the lobby areas There was a women on the rooftop her name was I think Bethlaham she was fantastic but the other staff really didn’t mirror the luxury experience I had seen from others Not welcoming at all and we were there to celebrate a special occasion The rest of the staff was great but the rooftop pool servers team by so much

My husband and I were not staying at the hotel but we wanted to go and have a drink at The Polo Lounge (for the experience ya know) in the evening We walked in late afternoon to inquire after a long hike in Malibu and we were greeted by a woman at the front desk She was so pleasant and tbh I was shocked at how well she treated us given

She politely told us that if we wanted to come back in the evening, we’d have to change our attire, but not in an offensive way at all We also knew that our current attire was not appropriate for the lounge We returned that evening showered and dressed up and the same woman greeted us and walked us to the Polo Lounge She even complimented on how good we looked! We were lucky as there were two open seats at the bar so we sat down and the bartender immediately asked us if we wanted a drink We ordered two drinks, dessert, and coffee chatted with the bartender, and really just enjoyed the experience The level of attentiveness and customer service was beyond expected It was a lovely ending to our trip before heading back to Canada the next day Thank you for the wonderful experience I am happy to see that all guests are treated EQUALLY

The place is wonderful, and it makes you feel like going back in time with the portraits of some of the most influential Hollywood stars back then, and from nowIt was a good experience for me, because it was my first time in California I wish it would had been better, and more relaxing

I didn’t have the best company to enjoy the most of itIt is a great place Luxurious, great pool, nice bar Nice eating area for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner

The Pink Palace remains as an exceptional and unique place to stay and experience We travel the world, stick to 5-star hotels and resorts, and no place has this sense of place and home While it is still a celebrity playground, one need not be a celebrity to receive exceptional treatment

Dino Rudolf was consistently attentive, and the staff in the Polo Lounge were wonderful over several evenings We will be back many times in the future As our 12 year old son asked “can we be like Howard Hughes and live here on and off for the next 30 years?”

My stay was 4 nights at Palihotel Here’s some pros & cons for future travelersPros:1

Location2 Decent sized room (queen bed size)3 Location5 Staff, particularly Brian, was pleasant and helpful6 Restaurant, which was never really busy, was yummy and had excellent serviceCons:1 If you’re on the street side like I was, it’s quite noisy as the wall is half windows, and Melrose is a busy busy street2 Cute decor and mood-lighting, however it can feel quite dark3 No air control in your room It’s a central unit control in the hallway in a locked box4 Depending on expectations (which are subjective) this may feel a bit outdated5 The mini fridge is FILLED with alcohol, which for some may be fine, but I just wanted a fridge to store some water and leftovers6 Thin walls/doors

Lyle Steele

Excellent location but do not expect much help from the front desk, who don’t seem to know what they are doing It took them almost 15 minutes at checkout to give me a receipt, and the woman behind the counter had NO idea how to print it The bed and sofa in the room were amazingly comfortable, but the room was constantly too hot or too cold

There was also no thermostat in the room, or any fans to circulate the air Neither was there a bottle opener for the soda bottles in the mini fridge, and the Front Desk said they had no spares for us So come prepared to serve your own needs The restaurant in the location had great breakfasts and were attentive to the diners But this property was saved by “Location, Location, Location “!!!
