When I booked this hotel 10 days prior to stay I asked for a queen suite (2 queens & a pullout) We are a family of 6 and this particular room setup is the only one that works conveniently for us All they had was a king suite (one king and one pullout)

I worked with Stephanie and booked the room anyway She told me to continue to touch base in hopes that the queen suite would open up I did, several times and although Stephanie was EXTREMELY accommodating and made every effort to make it happen – nothing ever opened up I spoke with her the day of our reservation and she made a note and told me that she would notify the staff members on shift when I arrived We checked into the hotel and I decided to ask one more time I was greeted by Leonard I began to explain the situation and he immediately informed me that he was able to shake a queen suite open for us He took care of us, and all with an upstanding and positive attitude Folks like Stephanie and Leonard at the Home 2 Suites in Bowling Green, KY are what makes businesses successful and Hilton should be ecstatic to have the privilege to employ such awesome people

The customer service was the absolute worst I’ve ever had from not just a Hilton establishment but anywhere ***** and ****’s attitude both were hot garbage Neither cared nor even tried to help me with my issue, so when I called member services to see if they could help me out the annoyance from **** was physically there

Short snappy responses and cutting me off, visible attitude (***** left for lunch) I got SO annoyed with this hotel I tried to cancel this room for ANOTHER Hilton right down the street Guess what, they weren’t having it, they were forcing me to unhappily stay there Full room penalty if I cancelled I wanted to simply check in an hour and a half early My wife & I needed to get ready for an event and didn’t want to be late (BTW our company had booked out the entire Tru down the street for our employees for this event) So if check out is at 11 and check in is at 3 and I was trying to check in at 1:30 and they have 4 room cleaners for 84 rooms but NONE are ready yet but ALL will be ready at 3the cleaners are either just making beds or the front desk staff are liars I didn’t actually get checked in until 2:2x Anyway, enough fusing from me Maybe they were just having a bad day or something Hope you have a great day!

I am a Hilton Diamond member I have had 50 hotel days this year, and the service at this hotel was disappointing The hotel is clean and in good shape, but negative experiences can make a difference

I had requested a crib when I booked the room, and when I checked in at 8:45 two of our kids were asleep I ask the person at the desk if they had but the crib in the room and they stated that they had not They went to get one A few minutes later he brought on up to the room When he can I asked for sheets, and he said that he could get some, but thy I would need to come down and get them at the desk I told him that were were trying to get our three kids to bed, and it is hard to come back down to the desk He told me he would bring them up When I opened the crib there was unidentifiable brown nastiness on the crib in several places (you can see the pictures) I mentioned it to the person helping us and he said he didn’t know what it was and said he would just try to wipe it off, and said they didn’t have a new one They was no apology for inconvenience, but almost a tone of irritation that we had all these requests even though if the crib was clean and in the room we wouldn’t have had to ask for anything After the cleaning there was still brown stuff on it, and we were comfortable to have our child sleep in a crib that looked like it had poop or vomit on itI hope this will be an item that can be used as a reminder to treat customers how you would like to be treated Little things make a big difference

Let’s start with the good The staff was attentive and incredibly amicable, some of the best hospitality crew I’ve ever encountered on all levels Major kudos there

The best I could hope for The beds were warm and cozy, the room was clean, and the amenities were quite good I never heard any noise from another room (a hotel rarity), and the central location next to WKU made it easy to go out for dinner and to get to nearby shops during our stayNow the less great Towels weren’t delivered directly after our initial check-in, we had to go down and get them Laundry bags for dirty items were not provided The hotel parking garage drops you off outside, so if it’s raining, there’s no way to get inside without walking through said rain – a side door near the parking garage is presently disabled (Thankfully, the gentleman at the front desk suggested we unload at the front door before driving around) Provided breakfast is a mixed bag – few hot items All said, not a bad hotel experience The bits I disliked were relatively minor, though there’s still places for the higher-ups in the chain to improve guest experience

Heather Randall

This hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent When I requested an extra blanket, the front desk staff was at my door almost before I could extricate myself from the really cool and comfy corner couch Even the outlets near the end table were thoughtfully placed – plenty of room to charge my Kindle and phone while still being able to use them from my nesting spot

The location wasn’t perfect for my needs, but if you are headed to anything in WKU’s campus it would be great It’s basically in the heart of campus and you have to unload in the front and then go back out to park your vehicle Since I was just there to meet a friend, that made it kind of inconvenient Access to 65 was kind of a pain I’m still glad I stayed there, thoughThey also offer a complimentary hot breakfast, served buffet style I did not take advantage because it was pretty packed and I can’t really deal with kids that early in the morning

Lisa Holt

Very low end of the hotel chain – not sure how it gets good reviews The staff is incredibly rude, zero customer service skills There were no food options

Unfortunately it was not just this particular hotel As frequent career travelers we called and spoke to headquarters customer service only to find that they are equally lacking on customer skills knowledge and education Seems as if they are somewhat desperate to let a dollar go in order to satisfy a customer which in the long run will cost them many dollars Not a smart business model We are removing from our list and have huge regrets of going outside of our normal commitment to marriott properties (Sorry Marriott, we didn’t have a choice and was it an eye opener) They get a 1/10 from a frequent traveler perspective who depends on strong customer service skills and more then just a cheap hotel with a bed to sleep in

More like a 2 star hotel than 3Staff was nice, check in & out was no problem Laminate floor in room was cut too short to meet up with carpet Just looked terrible for this price range hotel

Bathtub had multiple hairs in it Gross Housekeeping should pay more attention to detail For the price of the stay, breakfast should have been included I’ve stayed at plenty of cheaper 2 star hotels that are nicer with free breakfast Hot tub should have been hotter It was more like a warm jetted bath tub Pool and hot tub area was clean Property outside was clean and safe Good location Overnight stay was quiet with no interruptions

Anil Singh

Overall a decent stayBed was comfortable and establishment was clean Plenty of parking

Tucked away from major roadway so less foot trafficHotel is a bit dated with furniture decorCreamer in the room for the self serve coffee machine was questionableFlooring in the room had some big gaps from poor installation This is a safety hazard as the edges are very sharp and can cut your feet if you are walking around bare feet

Rebecca Byrd

My husband and I recently stayed here when attending a wedding in town We didn’t use any services, so my review isn’t based off of that or the restaurant, but on our experience with the room itself and the poolThe room was clean, the bed and linens were comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were great

My biggest and really only complaints were the shower, which was terrible It was like standing under a struggling water hose It was just dripping water and misting Very surprising, when everything else seemed pretty decent The other small complaint was the smell It just smelled kind of stale or like mildew Thankfully, that cleared up more once we had the air running for a bit Neither issue was enough to ruin our stay and we would definitely stay here again

Ive recently left hilton properties Trying IHG and again this place did not let me down Check in was somewhat easy, the hotel staff was pleasant and friendly

I didnt get walked in on before check out which is my main problem with Hilton properties I think i will be loyal to IHG anf this place once again met my standards They even had my favorite green tea Check out was 5 star and i definitely would be back

Angela Perpingon

Very friendly staff, Brett at check in was efficient and friendly Other staff we encountered were also friendly and welcoming Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and they have the best pillows

Perfect if you want to make quick meals in your room or have to dietary restrictions that require refrigerated items Centrally located to plenty of restaurants and shopping Very pleased with our stay

Jaqueline Ramirezz

We stayed there for about 4months in 2 different rooms The rooms were specious enough for two people The kitchen came with utensils, toaster, and coffee maker which was nice

If you needed another kitchen item they had several things you could borrow from by the front desk They also had free coffee, at least most of the times (bc the machine would always be off in the morning) and snacks you could buy House keeping was usually always on time but the last month there they would keep canceling on us They offered free washers and dryers which is awesome! Saved us a lot of money Overall it’s a good place for extended stays It’s at a good location and everything is near by

Josh Burkhead

We had a great stay at hotel SYNC The management was friendly and hospitable, even getting us a couple of soft drinks that weren’t available at the hotel, they still went out of their way to get them for us when we arrived During the evening our stay was relatively quiet, and the overnight charging provided by the outdoor Tesla chargers was a huge value for us

Our room was very clean, but we were surprised to see concrete floors in our room I’m not sure if all the rooms in the hotel have simple concrete floors, but if you have kids that like to run around the room please be aware that if they fall off of anything it’s going to hurt!We plan to stay in this hotel, should we visit the area again Highly recommended

Allan Zacher

I love this place! The rooms are Huge, mini-suites really with fully outfitted kitchen All modern appliances Very comfortable bed and pillows

The floors are bare poured concrete which may put some people off but I love it for the hygiene When you think about carpeted hotel rooms you almost have to think about all the liquids and semi liquid spilled on the carpet over the yearsThey give you new, sealed slippers that are surprisingly comfy and resemble spa slippersThe staff were very friendly and helpfulIf you’re going to the corvette places this is THE place to stay

Sarah Ramsey

SO

If your room isn’t on the first floor you will feel like you are going through a maze just to get to your room It has so many twist and turns you could get lost I feel it’s not worth how much they ask for a room especially since they don’t provide breakfast or a pool Rooms are nice and makes you feel welcomed but it’s probably not for someone who wants to stay one night This place is for someone who wants to stay a week or more They had slippers in our room but we didn’t use them because we didn’t want to get charge extra if you had to pay for them (they weren’t worth it) My personal opinion is we won’t stay here again The staff was very friendly and helpful also Also your balcony is connected to the room next to yours which made me very uneasy

DO NOT STAY HERE!I recently stayed for two nights, after booking through hotelscom I paid in advance on hotels

com, and thought everything was fineuntil I checked my credit card balance the next day after checkout I was charged twice, for different amounts, both well above what the room actually cost I called and tried to figure out what happened, but the employee I talked to at first tried to blame it on hotelscom She eventually told me that she would have the manager call me in the morning The next day, the manager did not call I checked my credit card account, hoping to see a refund, instead, I was charged again I’ve now been charged 3 times for almost $600 for a room I already paid for before I even arrived I finally spoke to a manager, but she did not have an answer either other than, “she would have to dig deeper”Again, do not stay here unless you want to risk being victim of fraudulent charges, and then get the runaround from the staff I will be contacting their corporate offices to hopefully get my money back Overall, if I could give 0 stars I would!

Comfortable space, with contemporary finishes

nice, helpful staff We were in an extended stay space while some repairs were made on our home and the room we were in had to have had pets prior to us because there was a dog urine smell in the room that was rather unfortunate Had we been there longer than a week, or not been at work during most days, we would have needed to move other than that, great place to stay! Very close to restaurants, the mall and walking distance to many conveniences!

Kristi Gamblin

The room was super spacious I was very surprised how big it was Motel was very pretty on the outside We did have a disturbing find when pulling the pull out bed out there was a knife from the kitchen shoved down in there could have stabbed one of my kids so I definitely think they need to clean and check the pull outs better

We also had a dirty shirt in our closet in one of the bedrooms Breakfast was also very picked over They only had one person stocking everything so it was slim pickings We would stay there again more than likely just because the rooms were spacious but the knife thing was definitely disturbing

I was rather disappointed with this hotel for various reasons I had chose this hotel because of location to an event I was attending The room smelled of cigarettes (even though I booked a nonsmoking room) or strong cleaning solutions

When I mentioned this to the front desk they stated their hotel is non-smoking but yet their website says smoking or non-smoking rooms Then you have people standing at the front door smoking and you have to walk through the smoke to enter hotel The towels were not very soft Air conditioner was rather noisy when it was running The pool was not open during my stay which was upsetting as I was looking forward to swimming after a long hot day in the sun There was no microwave in my room I am not a coffee drinker and there was only coffee in my room and no tea, which most hotels give you a choice I am glad I had brought my own but without a microwave could not heat my water The breakfast was ok but eggs were really salty, no whole milk, only one kind of pastry and no bacon Not sure I will stay here again as the hotel next door had all the amenities I was looking for and their pool was open

Troy D

Being a Platinum member u would think would afford some privilege Not with the lady with all the tattoos Very derogatory and not really tryin to help anyone

Smoke break was more relevant than my wife and I Arrived around 130pm and was told to “come back later” no rooms were available due to house keeping “slackin today” So after touring the Mammoth Cave and getting soaked from the rainhad to tour the locale waiting for our room The tattoo lady was very conversationalist short and rushed us off at check in as if she was too busy with other thingsLike her phone The second and 3rd shift staff is awesome Stand up individuals Absolutely would stay again simply because they showed they cared Tattoo is not customer friendly

Lisa Meints

Called wanting to switch us from a two bed room to a one several times We have three adults in the room, and one is disabled We shouldn’t have to change rooms to accommodate late reserving guests and this was not appreciated

Also several items were not replenished in the room, including coffee, towels, soap, and toilet paper, so we had to request more at the front desk Then we discovered the beds just had thin sheets on so we had to make another trip to the front desk and wait in line behind several guests checking in to get more blankets, as this was the only way to get suppliesOne of the elevators was out of order, and tv is at a weird placement in the room so you can really only watch it from one of the beds or the couch

We were there for a car event at the convention center so the hotel was super convenient However the hotel is incredibly dated and has a number of issues The light and fan didn’t work in the bathroom

They replaced the dial switch so light would work but the fan did not so lots of humidity in room The bathroom had been hastily cleaned and not restocked with towels The carpet didn’t appear to be vacuumed in the bedroom either We had brought food for the event but there were no normal amenities like a small fridge, that are normal in other hotels The pool was ICE cold and the doors were all propped open from outside into the pool Not sure if this was to warm the pool or cool the pool roomregardless it did neither and it allowed bugs in The bed was horribly uncomfortable Not sure if it was an air bed if some sort and just old, but it was rock hard, like sleeping on a slab of concrete(many of our friends complained of the same)Breakfast was not valued at the $14 they were charging, but fortunately our event paid for our breakfast Overall, the proximity to the convention center was great but we will likely stay at a different hotel with more value and comfort

Kasey Lemley

This hotel wasn’t horrible, but it is one we probably will not be returning to if we ever come back to the area We enjoyed the breakfast (although it is an additional $14 per person that you pay separately for daily) and the location The rooms were not the best and it lacked in amenities we typically enjoy in our hotel stay

Our bed was also very uncomfortable-The pool was ice cold We were really looking forward to swimming a few times on our 4 night stay, but we couldn’t get in We thought it said it was a heated pool online, but it was freezing-There are no fridges or microwaves in the rooms We had brought drinks and snacks because usually every hotel room we have had has offered a mini fridge Our snacks went bad and we had to take many walks to the ice machine which was very far away from our room The ice machine on our floor didn’t work so we had to go to different levels to get ice for our beverages-At around midnight, we woke up terrified because while we were sleeping a drunk man was banging on our door and yelling When we went to breakfast the next morning we noticed he had left his beer bottle outside our door

Nathan Cottrell

Very grandeur, large lobby with fountains yet the quality of the rooms were lacking No refrigerator, no microwave, and no curtains in our room so the adjacent hallway could see right in at all hours of the night The AC was central air and almost made zero difference in the temperature of our room

We were hungry at night so went looking for a vending machine: None At least there is breakfast in the morning, but it is not advertised as a $14 per person per day breakfast buffet in which you need to be seated and served for Not entirely sure what I paid $160 a night for Will not be returning

Good water pressure for showersFriendly associates from check in to check outLove the little breakfast optionsonly wish they would refill items Went at 6:30am Saturday morning and the cream and milk was almost gone and couldn’t find anyone to ask to replenish itWould stay here again if we are in the area!

The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful, I’m sorry that I didn’t get her name to give her a shout out The room seemed recently updated, but regardless this was definitely the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever seen The top of the trim didn’t even have dust on it

Shouts out to the cleaning crew! The bed and pillows were probably the most comfortable out of any hotel I’ve stayed at This will be our go to spot when we return

Amrita Diol

Stopped on a long drive Room was clean Bed comfortable

AC worked and was already on ( we’ve been at motels where we have to turn the AC on and wait a bit for the room to cool down) Everything in the bath and plumbing worked The lady at the reception was friendly, professional, courteous and helpful It’s just off the highway Close to the gas station Water was hot Towels clean Soap and shampoo provided Micro and fridge all worked We left early so didn’t really need much of the breakfast, but it was provided on time

Hospitality was awesome, front desk employees were nice and friendly Breakfast was better than most, the sausage gravy actually had some taste to it Indoor pool was clean and so was the hot tub

Rooms appeared to be in good condition Only real issue is the water pressure for the shower but other than that good place to stayIf I’m down this way again will try and book another room

I stayed here with my granddaughter recently The staff here was so friendly and helpful! The rooms were spacious and comfortableBreakfast was yummy and the coffee was delicious!!!Great place to stay on your way south!!

Was told price was $68 When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a different rate by both the man on the phone and the woman in the lobby We drove there with a car full of kids for no reason

Then tried to give us $3 off because we’re military The online price even reflected they were over charging usPrice was $100 once we arrived according to the lady and she offered the room at $97 as if she was doing us a favor They seem to make their own rates around here!

Rooms were older but very clean with plenty of space The breakfast had good selection and it’s nice they offer popcorn in the afternoons as well as hot food and drinks in the evening (we did not use this amenity though) The pool was a nice size The hot tub was a nice addition although it seemed to be half functioning with the jets spewing out onto the pool floor The pool room was open to the patio area which was nice to have the fresh air We were pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again

Laid back hotel? I found it to be the opposite Normally, I give the benefit of the doubt before a negative review; however I felt I needed to share my opinion on this location The two ladies at the front desk were less than pleasant

(9 PM) I run a business myself within the hospitality industry and I would start by training them on serving the customer with a friendly disposition The room I paid over $200 for was small and dingy, and I noticed the lamps and surfaces which should have special attention to detail more so now than ever, were full of smeared fingerprints I checked in after 9PM After having been on the road all day, I look forward to soaking in the hot tub I walked in about 9:45 and the same rude lady with longer black hair followed another gentleman in at 9:59 to close it up Understandably, rules are in place for a reason, but to watch two people who checked in late on a Tuesday evening dash to the hot tub to enjoy, you would think they would give us some extra time to relax I honor my guests requests as much as I can based on the circumstancesit’s simply part of superior customer service These ladies should be taught to treat each and every customer with excelled customer service; as you never know who may walk through those double doors! All in all, a waste of $200!

Rooms were nice, comfy and clean The Kick Back meals were very good What did not sit well with me was when I asked about the pool, the pool was usable

however, the hot tub was not and none of the doors to lead outside were unlocked But later that day an entirely different group of people were able to have a whole pool party with use of the hot tub and every single door to the patio were open This location may want to start treating ALL their guests the same regardless of race

This was our first time at this Holiday Inn Express It is an older Holiday Inn so the room was a little dark and outdated But they are going to renovate it starting this fall

We didn’t mind the room but two things bothered us There was a big blob of dark hair in the shower, ugh and the room did have a cleaner smell to it One other thing that was annoying and we have found this at other Holiday Inns is the water pressure in the shower It is so low its hard to rinse the shampoo from your hair The most awesome part of this hotel were the front desk people Josh, Payton, Nick, and Veronica are so sweet and friendly Their friendliness helped make our stay nicer We enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them Even though there were a couple of issues with the room we would recommend staying here And it will be really nice when it gets renovated

The service me and my family received was great and the blonde lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful the whole time we stayed there Her name is Lexi and I would recommend asking her for anything you need because of how helpful she is She didn’t give me any trouble at all when asking for help and she’d always get whatever I needed instantly

Very good workers, service, and rooms

Wasn’t expecting a whole lot but the place is well kept Free breakfast and coffee was pretty good for what it is It’s fresh and happy they have flavored coffee creamers aside from the plain half&half ones

Room service didn’t come even though I didn’t have any “Do Not Disturb” signs posted But to be fair I didn’t call front desk about it either

The room and hotel was clean and had good service They were very accommodating when I had to extend my stay, twice A huge plus was them having a washer and dryer available for their guests to use

I’d prefer to see a little more variety for breakfast such as, bagels, waffles, and grits They did have hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties, English muffins, white bread, jellies, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and fruit All of the staff was very friendly I will gladly stay there again when I’m in town

The room was very clean, fairly new, and the hotel was pretty quiet The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on, and I am a frequent traveler, so that is a sincere compliment The pillows were also perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful

We will be staying again in May for our daughter’s graduation and will be bringing extended family as well

Monya Burrell

Taylor at the front desk was awesome, had the best attitude and was so helpful! Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and breakfast was very good with many options Parking lot was being reworked so half of it was closed which made parking hardDown side was that Management has no respect for travelers with medical issues and service dogs

I travel with my medical id on me, full papers for my dog and a photo id for my dog, yet management still made the clerk checking me in ask me what my medical condition was and the exact service the dog performed for me in front of other guests and then the clerk had to repeat it to the manager over the phone This is not just embarrassing, but illegal I get that people pretend their pets are service animals to avoid paying fees, but real service dogs have papers and ids that we have no problem providing No need to embarrass us
