Dirty room and we update but still dirty, rude and unprofessional staff, no towels, small, dirty and anti hygienic breakfast area, toilet broken, dark room, sketchy furniture and old We were scared when we got inside the elevator and started to leaking water and wet the panel Front desk knew it and permitted to used for 4 hours

The other two elevators are hazardous The place smelled so bad that couldn’t stand in the hallway and in the room The sofa and floor was very dirtyThe hotel doesn’t have there own parking We would never even think to stay here again

Starleana Holmes

Have gone a few times Nice service and there’s breakfast Cozy rooms even though sometimes they smell of cigarette

Cute decor Free coffee They do overnight and hourly I gave 3 stars because it’s kind of hard to sleep when u hear neighbors “enjoying” themselves in the next room I’ve machines are not on every floor But over all decent Price isn’t bad $80 for 3 hours $245 kinda steep, for over night They only take cash unless your staying over night Which kinda sucks Nicely clean though 35 stars lol

What can I say

Vanessa was “Very” accommodating with a personable flair! She made my overall stay a wonderful one after enduring a long and stressful day with a flight that was canceled Her beautiful personality and genuine, personable attitude removed the stress from the day Additionally, the rooms were clean and the convenient, on-site bar and restaurant was a welcomed plus with great service I definitely recommend this hotel, it was an overall excellent stay!

David Perelman

The shuttle runs every 20 min which was great, the check in was fast and easy, restaurant has a lot of food options and was decent now for the room Beds are a 4 out of 10 (they make noise every time you move), the pillows are firm, the shower does not drain, the air conditioner only runs at 65° anything about that it switches to heat, only 2 towels for a room with 2 double beds, no bath soap, they do give you a dispenser in the shower with shampoo and conditioner Room was clean though

Cheap considering the other options and close to the airport

My husband had surgery at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital which is within walking distance of the hotel We both are so happy that we stayed at the Edge Hotel While my husband was in the hospital and also while we stayed at the Hotel during his recovery, the staff at the Edge Hotel were wonderful! They are all caring and meet your needs as best as they can

They are so helpful, I can’t say enough about them The room we were in was comfortable and clean If you have a loved one that needs to be in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and you need a place to stay, stay at the Edge Hotel We were so grateful that we found this hotel Staying here helped a very over whelming situation easier to go through I am not a fast walker, and it took me less than 10 minutes to get to the hospital There are many places in the area to get food, either within walking distance or by delivery There is also a couple of pharmacy’s near by The front desk staff, the cleaning staff and maintenance were all wonderful to us The price is reasonable too! They also give you a $5 breakfast voucher for a near by Bagel shop We highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay at the Edge hotel again

I stayed here while in town for my sister’s college graduation Dealing with delayed/cancelled flights and having to check in a day late and after normal check in time, Luis and his staff remained professional and kind I stayed there alone and felt safe

The room had a great view and was clean and adorable Everytime I stepped into the lobby I was met with a smile and a greeting from every single employee I encountered Will definitely be staying here again!

Glenda Hahn

Finally hot water appeared on 4/5/22 Staff was courteous and very friendly We received credit for missing hot water

Luis, at the front desk, was very polite, professional, and helpfulWe’ll definitely stay at the Edge the next time we are in ManhattanMike’s Bagels is the best place in Manhattan for bagels

We arrived at hotel after a long day of traveling and unable to make flight connections Delta put us up there The hotel is huge and lobby is nice

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating The restaurant and bar was very pleasant They sent us to a room on the first floor where the room/beds were not clean I called the front desk and explained the situation They moved our room to a higher floor and everything in that room was better It was a cleaner and more spacious room We were a couple, and they still gave us two queen beds

B Reneau

I am a repeat customer for this hotel They offer great friendly service, and the rooms are clean I wanted to give 5 stars for the rooms, but the rooms always run on the warm side

I had forgot most of the rooms do offer and functioning window which if I had remembered I could have opened it to cool down the room to my preference Also, the mattress on this visit was not Marriott quality – it was a thin cheap mattress – but new

Talisha Blackburn

Booked this hotel via a 3rd party booking service, and there was a glitch in the app so when we got to the hotel, the rates were different because it was a weekend Spoke to the front desk attendant about the issue, and while very courteous, they could only lower our rate by $20 that evening based on their rates, which was $100 over our initial booking rate Since we were from out of state and celebrating our Anniversary, we decided to stay, as we wanted to begin our night of relaxing and quality time

That weekend, there happened to be a big wedding hosted at the hotel, so we ended up across the hall from rowdy guests Not the hotels fault Staff was very attentive and professional The room was really great Beautiful decor and very clean We easily got to the train station 5 minutes away and were in Times Square in 40 minutes The following day, we toured New Rochelle, which was nice, a lot of hand painted murals to see, and a diversity of food choices Nice weekend get away

The noise from band is horrible I like to have a good time too and chose this hotel due to its proximity to I 95 Traveling and needed sleep

This you do not get here If I had known it was going to be this noisy, I would not have stayed If you are looking for a nice place to rest while traveling, this is not the place to stop You would be better off sleeping in your car

Michael Cotner

Great accommodations and the staff we helpful and friendly Some of the other patrons caused some issues in the lobby but the staff handled it really well Breakfast was not a five course meal, but it was good nonetheless

It was more than I expected in these times of COVID, and again the staff was really helpful They went so far as to help one of my youngest children make a waffle since he was confused about the machine Very clean, and safe The water pressure was pretty low in the shower but again, nothing to really complain about The only thing I would 100% say is to NOT take the elevator That bad boy took longer to wait for than the stairs and was SLOW But the hotel is only 4 stories tall so unless you have knee or back problems the stairs are easy to take All in all, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again without any issues

Michael McQuade

I was blown away with how nice this hotel was! Very clean, nice security, small parking lot with about 15 or 20 spaces on the premises Once you check in you get the ticket for your designated parking space if they are not fully booked Very nice new rooms, nice little breakfast in the morning, front desk was great! Just overall a great experience

Nicer than hotels in higher price points!

It was our daughters wedding We reserved blocks but some immediate family were saddened when there weren’t enough rooms even though they tried to reserve a room prior to the cutoff date We reminded them we needed to be at the wedding venue by 4 and they assured us the would have rooms available by 3

Fast forward to 5:30 pm and our suite still wasn’t available We had an after party there which was amazing and I must admit when we finally entered the room at 11:30 pm it was lovely If you have a wedding block Susan is the only person you should deal with She is amazing, and tries to please I think there is a shortage of staff because the hotels took a hit during Co-vid

Laura Gregory

I stay here every few months for stay-vacations Nice hotel, nice staff, but it needs to be updated Furniture looking old, couches\sofa beds sunken in, many rooms have no throw pilllows, problems with wifi, tv, stoves & freezer ice makers not working

No welcome gifts in room anymore, no chocolate in water bags, and community shampoo & conditioner in showers–not very sanitary idea during a pandemic They also kept falling down from shower wall before we even took showers! And also please, for goodness sakes, get dining chairs in each room with padded bottoms already–the constant screeching noise of everybodys chairs on the floor is so annoying!!! And please update breakfast to have FRESH fruit each day, not leftovers from past 2 days, as well as return of pancakes & french toast & different variety of sandwiches & muffins each day Its always the same stuff lately (Not fault of breakfast makers Imsure)Technically its not free considering this is one of the more expensive Marriots in NY For what this hotel costs for a stay the quality should not be going down A new onsite restaurant would be nice tooThank you

Greg Goomrigian

Rooms cleaned and allowed for proper protocols Staff was confused abit on room requirements as we had asked for specifics weeks prior only to find that they were unable to meet our needs We had to spend time at the counter re explaining our request

Although they offer handicap rooms, the bed was to high for a person to get into Our family member ended up sleeping on the sofa in her room as it was more accessibleBreakfast was great with a variety of foods available for both adults and childrenParking seemed abit limited but with some searching, we found a space in the garage adjacent to the hotelLobby spacious and was perfect to accommodate our group during the late eveningStaff attentive and friendlyWould definitely return

Cute little hotel close to LaGuardia airport We found this nearby gem since our flight was cancelled Super friendly staff

Rooms are very small but have everything you need: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffee maker, large TV, microwave, fridge, reading lamps above bed, soft towels, good water pressure, shower soap and shampoo dispensers, room darkening curtains, nice bedding and very comfortable bed Very clean rooms Walking distance to many restaurants, a grocery store and movie theater Would definitely stay here again Thank you for your hospitality!

Matthew Girard

Stayed here for one night I picked this place because parking was included, had decent reviews, and was a good valueWhile the view and renovations helped, the stay was marred by a smoking guest which caused the hallway and my room to smell like smoke

I notified the front desk, but all they did was spray air freshener and the smoking clearly continuedAdditionally there were stains on the carpet in the room and hallway, marks on the walls and water damage in the bathroomI still think the place is a decent value though

Teresa DeMaria

Room was incredibly small for the price, room was filthy

carpet & sheets were dirty, asked for extra pillow & was not provided with one, room should of come with SOMETHING for breakfast, maybe bagels & cream chz being in NYC & definitely for the price but the only complimentary bfast was lousy hotel room/lobby coffeethe only thing this place had going for it was its location to Citifieldit’s very close so taking an Uber back & forth was ideal & cheapand it’s free parking at the hotelbut I don’t think I’d stay here again

My mother recently stayed here for 12 nights while my father was in the hospital nearby Despite being hesitant before her stay given mixed reviews, she had an amazing experienceShe loved the gym, the bed, and the shower

But above all else, it was the helpfulness of the staff that impressed her most The housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly each day In particular, one of the managers, Nick, went above and beyond to secure her room for the entirety of my dad’s time in the hospitalIt really warmed her to be reminded that there are still people in the service industry that genuinely care

Jeff Stanley

Was highly impressed with this hotel Great location with restaurants, shops, and grocery stores in a walkable distance Was greeted by friendly faces and great customer service the moment I checked in

The check in line was not long and I was waited on immediately for the check in process Once in my room, after check in, the phone rang about 20 minutes later It was management making sure that my check in was a pleasurable experience and if there was anything they could do not to hesitate to call To say I was sold on the customer service experience is an understatement I will make sure to stay at this location whenever I visit New York

Eva Spak

i stayed here with my family for a few days at the end of our vacation we were all tired of traveling after being away for a while, but the marriot crew treated us well we had booked 2 rooms, and they upgraded us to 2 connected rooms

the hotel was very organized the location was nice because it was close to a lot of popular tourist attractions in the city, but it wasn’t in a location that was super noisy we got both great bagels and good Italian food right nearby the hotel overall, id say it was a successful stay!

Had a delay with our flight from Detroit, so we missed our flight home There wasn’t very many hotels with vacancies We were so glad we found this hotel

They have free shuttle from and to the airport So that saves money, no need for an Uber The front desk clerk was very friendly The lobby could use some updating, the room was really nice, clean and comfortable During the day the street noise was loud, but at night when you have the air conditioner on, you don’t hear the noise The bed and pillows were very comfortable The water closet is separate from the shower, which is very convenient, for 2 people trying to get dressed There also was a living area divided by a desk with sliding glass for privacy The breakfast, which is free, wasn’t all that great It was cold (turkey and pork sausage, eggs, fried potatoes) The waffle mix was really thin The oatmeal was hot The breakfast attendant was very friendly Both shuttle drivers (from the airport and back to the airport) were friendly

Dabe James

I stopped in here to grab a late night cocktail and a bite to eat while waiting for a client to finish their presentation I stopped at the restaurant and the bartender that was there(I have forgotten her name) Was a huge basketball fan and an excellent bartender Friendly attentive as well as the staff that I encountered

The food was good and it was one of the few places that was open late night It’s definitely worth stopping in

We have stayed at SpringHill LaGuardia countless times in the past & always had great experiences  Unfortunately, this time was not so great  We were there for my mom funeral & was hoping to get a decent night(s) sleep after driving 10hr

We have always felt comfortable at the hotel but after a long drive and mom’s viewing that night, we return to get some rest when we finally lay in bed sadly, we found out late that night both beds Squeaked Horribly Loud!  Every time someone turned in bed it was loud noises, so it was very difficult to get any rest  The kids often got up and sat up in bed because they couldn’t get any rest  Secondly, there was a Horrible Red stain on one side of the bed, between the nightstand and bed  It almost looked like blood and looks like it was traced/tracked throughout the room towards the door, it did creeped us out, I had to take a pillow and cover the large stain by the bed so the kids don’t freak out  But at that point we were too exhausted to request another room etc because we had already unpacked and sanitized the room for our stay  Also the shower curtain did not reach the base of the shower, so water constantly poured out and puddle in the bathroom, every time we took a shower and the fan did not work in the bathroom There was no lighting by the front door or mirror closet, so it was difficult with dressing, we even moved the lamp over yet it did not make a difference  On the day of the funeral our vehicle was blocked in where they park the shuttle and we asked the person if they can move up so we can get out, so we are not late for the funeral, the person was about to move up but the Valet told him not to and then proceeded to argue with my husband  We kept telling him we are running late for a funeral and he said, you just have to wait and refuse to help  This was so ruthless! As you can imagine, this was/is a very sad and stressful time for us and all of this really added to it  This has always been our go to hotel and we often recommend several friends/family  But we were every disappointed in the stay, but we choose to not say anything because my mom funeral was more important We have to return in the future for my mom’s final Spreading of the Ash Service and we are not sure how we feel about staying here after this experience  We did mentioned at checkout about our experience, we were told that they will the Management know about all the issues we experienced Unfortunately, no one followed up with us

My friend made a reservation since February for this past Wednesday, June 15 We were supposed to stay there for two nights to celebrate his cousin’s wedding Once we go to the hotel we were told that they overbooked and had to cancel our reservation

They stated that there was no contact information but as we all know, an email is always needed to book a reservation The hotel didn’t care about the inconvenience this created We have never experienced this from any hotel we have stayed in

Lee Stat

Worst experience ever They had nothing for complimentary breakfast They won’t let you stay one more minute but for others they do

The service is terrible The bathroom on the 10th floor stunk They gave us a handicap room, where the bathroom door doesn’t close and the shower is a floor, so there’s water all over the floor and one can fall I don’t recommend it at all especially for the amount we paid Parking is $20 a day There wasn’t even toast for breakfast We had 25 rooms rented in the hotel and this was the worst experience ever

Galyna Shulimova

It’s very convenient to get there by public transportation  Everything is close to the hotel  – movie theater,  cafes, train station and so onHotel provides breakfast and it’s OK

They have an outdoor pool at 6 floorYou even can walk, but it takes some time and effort, to the beautiful park with a small and cozy beach

We stayed for 3 days and it was amazing! love this place!the rooms are spotless! the whole has the most beautiful artwork (I love it)The host was accommodating and understanding! She helped us when our flight was canceledThe rooms are spacious, well equipped, the location is great because is not near to the main street, so at night you don’t get any sounds but still the metro station is just a few blocks away

Carolina Muñoz Bernal

At first it seemed to me like it was a little far away from everything but I was wrong It is located just a couple of blocks away from 3 subway stations and we were about 10 minutes away from midtown The place is located in a beautiful quiet and safe neighbourhood

Boothe’s house is a beautiful and tastefully decorated brownstone Keep in mind you will have to carry your luggage up some narrow stairs There is a rule to remove your shoes inside, which makes for a super clean place and a quiet one You should also wear a facemask in the common areas You access the house with a personalized code and the room will be ready at the time of your arrivalHaving stayed in NYC several times, I can definitely tell you the rooms are bigger than your average hotel The room is spacious You get a bathroom, a closet (mini fridge included), a desk, a couch and a super comfortable and cozy bed There is no housekeeping service during your stay, however you have everything you need such as several towels, toiletries, hair dryer, filtered water, a tea and a coffee maker My room also came with a TVThis place was perfect to rest after a hectic day in the city Boothe was very kind and helpful I will definitely be back and I will be recommending this place to friends and family

Hotel is nice Breakfast is good Hotel staff are really friendly and nice

The only issue is the rugs There are stains everywhere In the halls and in the rooms(I stayed there twice) The stains make it feel like it’s not clean(though it is) I just don’t understand why they can’t clean the rugs better or replace them It really makes you feel gross especially in the rooms, I don’t want to walk on stains

I don’t check out for another two days but I feel pressed to leave feedback so others are aware of what to expect when booking this locationI’ll start with the pros:-very friendly staff-excellent locationThe cons:- The hotel has a dingy feel to it From the dirty carpet odors to the stains on the upholstery both in the lobby and our room, I personally did not feel comfortable sitting anywhere (other than our bed) for too long

It doesn’t matter how clean a room is; seeing stains on a hotel room couch is a red flag- The bathrooms (one family and two regular restrooms) on the lobby floor need to be better maintained On two occasions my daughters and I found that every single bathroom was dirty, complete with leftover feces staining the toilet bowls and toilet paper all over the floors- I’m highly disappointed in the fact that the indoor pool is not available while we’re here My husband is in the area for a work trip and asked the kids and I to tag along I went out of my way to find a well-rated hotel with a pool so I could easily keep the little ones occupied Needless to say that plan fell through I get that some things are just out of one’s control but since the hotel has a website, the right thing to do would have been to post that on their site Had I seen it mentioned online, we would’ve booked elsewhere But to list an indoor pool as one of the available amenities only for that to be untrue is deceitful at bestHopefully management addresses these matters soon Until then, we will be looking elsewhere

This really is a great example of the Hyatt Place brand These are no frill hotels, but this location is relatively new, in a great location surrounded by an outdoor mall with restaurants, and staffed by really friendly folks The room received was a large king room with a pull out sofa

Everything Was really clean and the temperature control worked just fine On checking out of the hotel, I left my AirPods in my room and the assistant general manager was able to personally walk me back to the room so that I could recover them Big thanks to everyone working there for a great stay
