This place was absolutely terrible, from the moment we walked in we were unsatisfied The front desk clerk was very unprofessional and going off task talking about TV shows Then the breakfast is not selective at all

The room when we walked in smelt very dingy and smelt of vape/tobacco We then discovered when we went to open the blinds that there was boogers all over the walls The shower was okay in pressure but squeaks the whole time you are showering Finally the final night we stayed we discovered a cockroach on the ground near the front desk and let the clerk know, but she did not move a muscle and let it keep crawling Absolutely DISGUSTING

Richard Rea

Our room was not worth the $17500 they charged us The curtains were coming off the curtain rods, the bathroom sink didn’t drain, no table or chairs and extension cords running behind the desk tor plug-ins and the carpet was stained

The room didn’t resemble the picture on their website They also had inadequate food for breakfast We ended up going to a restaurant

If I could, I’d rate it about a 47 I’m simply rounding up to 5 stars

I’ve only been once, and despite it being a little far from home, I will definitely go out of my way to visit again I’m inclined to discourage taking families to a saloon style bar/restaurant unless it’s more of a gimmick like a chain might be, however, if there were to be a template for how to do it, this place just might set the mold It’s clean, has decent BBQ, and has a nice ambience for every class and culture I especially like the big open room in the back of the bar area where there are tables to eat at as well as play some pools They also have darts

I stay in hotels 250 nights a year This place is just as good as the chains and in some cases even better Let us check in early after we drove all night to avoid the heat

The little interaction with the staff was pleasant room that was up to date Clean room and restroom Great little mini fridge Bed was comfortable Don’t let the age of the hotel fool you It has been kept up over the years Left before breakfast so no comments there I would stay here again

Michelle M “mishi” Pratt

Pretty nice rooms, about the same quality as say maybe a Holiday Inn express, about the same amenities:double queen size beds, mini fridge/freezer,2cup coffee maker, built in blow dryer, alarm clock, decent sized flat screen tv,& single low back chair w/foot stoolBathtub w/shower, OH!! & Toilets that will scare the #2 out of you because you don’t expect the force that their toilets have & it seems like it could take you if it wanted to

No Pool which is kinda a bummer in a high temp area in California but other than that no complaints

Rooms are large and clean, bed is comfortable The property is painstakingly maintained All and all is a nice place

But wow, if you are a light sleeper that needs peace and quiet in order to sleep this isn’t the hotel for you Halls carry sound surprisingly well, outdoor street noises are also heard with an uncanny clarity And while the walls aren’t paper thin, any elevated noise can be heard easily

Emma Sembly – Brodie

Well maintained property We attended a large wedding, and it was a beautiful ceremony, supported by a hard-working hotel staff We stayed three days

Our room was clean as well as the facility Friends used the pool and work out room with no complaints The bar served food from snacks to meals Very polite and receptive staff Valet & self-serve parking available Masks are optional

Madeline Mueller

The room was clean and comfortable with a great TV, but contained no amenities—no literature to describe any room services and few supplies for in-room coffee or tea The bath fixtures were half broken and some lamps were out of commission There were no beverage or snack machines on my floor

The hotel food service was mostly nonexistent and the breakfast offerings were overcooked and tasteless (at $1600!!)While it’s understandable that hotels will have problems coming out of many months of covid shut-down, potential customers should be warned to not expect certain things that in the past would have been included in the price Or maybe the price should have been lowered given that what is being advertised as ‘luxury’ accommodations is not currently the reality

Firstly, I want to say the staff all seemed like kind reasonable folks That being said, our room was a gross disappointment Our beds had significantly stained sheets and blankets, that were falling apart

We we’re given another set after we asked, however, those were also stained and falling apart The bathroom was dirty, and moldy the curtains were shredded and stained with what was either coffee or blood??!! It was a hot week (in the mid 90s) and the pool was very dirty, and freezing One of the other guests just took it upon herself to clean the pool because there was a lot of bugs and we all have small children Our family stays exclusively at Best Westerns because they have been consistently clean and cared for But not this one I am hoping with the massive sign on the door stating this location has a new owner will mean that there will be some pride of ownership here And maybe they will pay the staff more And revamp the room because this hotel needs some TLC Or at least some new sheets and curtains? I’m going to be reaching out to best western directly

Jena Grace

Location was clean Had a great selection for breakfast…& it was hot Muffins, pastries, pancakes, eggs, potatoes and chorizo

Had oatmeal & assortment of drinks Nice eating/bar area I requested an early check in time (2 instead of 3) I got there at 2:30 and she said she would probably be after 3 with our room ready because they were sold out Right after, a man approached buying rooms for several people biking across country I also had to explain that we had just traveled 11 hours with kids and we needed our room asap Don’t expect to get in early here Also heard a guest struggling to get a later checkout after being told he could get one Room was clean Bathroom a little dirty with stains but just looked run down Beds were clean and semi comfortable Pool was kind of dirty but still had fun swimming The AC was making loud noises everytime it turned on though Would stay again

Very nice hotel at a nice price for what you get My wife and I liked it so much we picked this brand for our next stay the following night in LAThere were a couple small down sides

The location is near the highway and I could hear cars and trucks going by The breakfast was good but not the best, I guess I expected a little nicer based on the rest of the hotel Really small things thoughOverall it was a nice stay and the staff were friendly and helpful Being close to the highway is a positive and negative so pick your preference!

I stayed here for 8 nightsThe room I originally stayed in needed a lot more attention to cleanliness There were stains all over the carpet and couch

I thought my bed was clean until I woke up to earwigs in my bed GROSS Showers had mould and shower soap dispensers were practically emptyAs expected, all the front desk staff were on point and were able to find me a new room, although the hotel was sold out – Thank you!The second room was much cleaner, but had a funny smell to itBreakfast options are the same every day Coffee/tea, oatmeal, cereal, turkey/pork sausage, cold breakfast sandwiches and eggs made from a bag Weekends, they might have the waffle station availableMake sure you dont have any belongings in your car! On many occasions, I’ve caught random people walking through the parking lot scoping for valuables in carsOverall, the hotel wasn’t the worst, but didn’t feel like a Marriott hotel This place needs much more attention to cleanliness, more security, and better breakfast options

Second Amendment

This place is nice and great stay The food was good, and staff was very friendly The hotel was nice and cozy, no issues really

Except I feel bad for the hotel to waste money on a security guard who sleeps all shift long Walked the parking lot and found the guard sleeping with his window down and holding a cigarette He was also parked in his patrol car in the red zone Guess the laws do not apply to security guards who sleeps Other than that great place to bring family and friends, security is as good as a car alarm

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at The upstairs guest has been making noise since I checked in at 3pm It’s about 11pm as I write this

We have contacted the front desk multiple times already without any results They are a long term guest, so if you get room 219, sucks to be you We were scheduled for 98 days, but not staying here another night Rooms are just average Not worth the cost

Sac Buyer Tim

Bad stay, The room was very smokey and had recently had food cooked in it We had to leave the window open all night because of the smell Their was an entire toilet paper roll in the toilet

Microwave didn’t work, coffee pot didn’t work Hotel would not honor priceline reservations The entire hotel was dirty and smelled I’d never stay here again

The stairs are right next to the helpdesk Not convenientThe bathroom door is not closing properly, hitting the frame You need to push it hard to close itUnglued wallpaper in a few spotsThe bathtub was missing the shower curtainThe toilet is not flushing properly unless you keep the hand on the lever for some timeThe breakfast area not very appealing as I glanced on the way inThey do have washing machines but do not provide coins nor detergent We had to go to nearby Walgreens to get coins and washing powderOverall, I would not stay again, nor recommend

I came to Turlock to work the Stanislaus county Fair and very fortunate for me the company I work for paid for our rooms for 2 weeksThe flies were terrible the Wi-Fi signal was weak and not able to even stream a YouTube video!?? Lame The owner seemed cool at first but as the days grew on I noticed that they were extremely nosy and wanting to know my business all the time

They even came and pounded on my door when I brought a guest back with me one evening it was very invasive intrusive rude unprofessional and embarrassing!my God you run a motel not a hotel!

Suzanne Brill

Stayed at this Inn while in town for my step-son’s wedding The room was very clean, smelled great, no evidence of bed bugs (very important)Hubby had trouble with the TV and the desk clerk came almost immediately to fix it

Also, about 1/2 hour before our expected arrival, the clerk had gone into the room and turned on the A/C unit The room was very cool We couldn’t have been happier with our stayWe will gladly stay there again anytime, and would recommend this Inn to anyone who asks

True Roof Inc. (TRUE ROOF)

Do not recommend if you’re looking for a quiet hotel experience The floors are so dirty my feet were black from walking around barefoot in the room The towels smelled funny, and the couch in the room was filthy

Cool having a hot tub in the room, but it took forever to fill up and the water was cold half way through Ok if you’re on a budget Breakfast was decent with a waffle maker

Trent Poche-Moore

Well where to begin, I stayed here for a week, children were screaming and running up and down the hallways I tried to move to a different room and realized that they were running and screaming and slamming down on all 3 hallways not to mention downstairs by the front desk……I will never stay there again…

Never! I wish someone would have been totally honest with me before I stayed there Please research before you stay… No a good experience!

Alan Mattson

I travel frequently for business, more than once a month even through COVID I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times without issue, and as a matter of fact I’m a Platinum Member with the Choice Hotels chain Recently I had a trip booked here but needed to postpone, so cancelled and ended up staying at a different Choice Hotel a few weeks later

Comfort Suites refused to refund me I called Choice Hotels customer service and they also refused a refund, claiming “there’s nothing we can do” I was going to stay with Choice Hotels for the next four weeks, but guess what, I’m staying with IHG Sorry, there’s nothing I can do Enjoy the three nights charges you stole from me, that’s all you’re getting in future

Out of all of the Holiday Inns that I have stayed at, this one is at the top of my list The room was clean and comfortable The staff was very friendly and helpful

My girlfriend and I had originally planned on staying one night, but after speaking with Daniel at the front desk, he was able to get me a great rate for an additional two nights, so we ended up staying He gave us extra towels, trash bags, and toiletries He also continued to go above and beyond by giving us recommendations on places to eat around the area Daniel, who was working the night shift, provided excellent customer service and he made our experience even more enjoyable If anyone deserves to be employee of the month, it should be Daniel My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back to this location the next time we are in Modesto

This LA Quinta in Salida, CA is one of the greatest nicely priced hotels that I have stayed in for a while It was soooo clean and smelled so nice The beds were so comfy and they had an assortment of pillows for every sleeping style

Every one of the staff that we encountered were so sweet and accommodating The maids did such an amazing job They are dog friendly and have a nice space to walk them in It is also very conveniently located to lots of food and many attractions and even a nice large Mall by car but there are also a few eating places in the same parking lot as the hotelThe girl who runs the free breakfast was so sweet She worked so hard and did such an awesome job 😍 The breakfast was wonderful every day So many choices and so delicious It was always well stocked and super clean, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your yummy food😋 There was always hot coffee and good food for all each morning from 6-9am They have the hottest hot tub that I have ever been in at a hotel and my friend and I loved every minute of it I highly recommend this hotel🥰💗

Rooms are good, but the air will go off in the summer when your Not 🚫 in the room BUT they fixed that problem for me Service is good, but we stayed from Saturday to Saturday and had keep going to the front desk for our cards to work or room

Location was ok BUT on Monday a Weed eater and blowers start going at 7AM IN THE MORNING 🌄 That’s NOT 🚫 good when your on Vacation

Mercedes Jayne

It was ok I’ve stayed in lots of hotels, and this one was on the lower end for the class it was meant to be in Interior is dated

My first room, a plain king, was nice and clean Second night (added on after checking in and confirming the 1-star reviews were unwarranted) was in a king suite, which had a stake odor and a sticky strain on the carpetBreakfast was ok but nothing to write home about The kitchen worker was really helpful when they ran out of stuff, it was super busy so no fault there
