Outstanding 11pm to 7am Desk Staff The young gentleman was quick to get us what we needed when we arrived to check-in around 1am He was very polite in offering me assistance while being very attentive to the pain caused by my disability

His kindness in helping us during our stay, as well as getting us checked in quickly and efficiently helped tremendously Really enjoyed our stayI lived in Chesapeake Beach for 20 years , up until 2010 Returning to town, I was shocked by changes made to this small sleepy Beach town It’s becoming to big, over sold, over built up, then an eye sore of a parking garage ruined the entire backdrop to the town I brought my better half to see for the first time I know, changes are progress but still, the golden gem in the rough, now looks like tourist trap and gambling pit

Rebecca Gallery

It’s a nice bingo style casino The slots are not traditional slots, they are ‘tabs’ which is like a stack of predetermined lottery tickets It’s fun for a little while

The food is terrible but the drinks are pretty good The view of the bay from outside is incredible, shame they keep the windows shuttered up like a dark pit That’s the biggest downside It’s really grim inside

Just had an overnight stay here, and I was very happy with the total experience from check in to check out The woman at the front desk was so friendly & informative, the hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of places to hang store or sit your clothes / belongings, great lighting with cool nightlight-like features over top the headboard / closet / TV area, the shower head actually worked – you could adjust it to the different settings (which in most hotels usually isn’t the case), & best of all a really comfortable chaise lounge (instead of just a regular living room type of chair) Not that I don’t like watching the TV / being on iPad while in bed, but you can’t help from sliding down in the bed

In the chaise however, I was able to sit back comfortably with my legs stretched all the way out (& I have long legs 😉) with no sliding ! Also, they put out a good breakfast with a very nice woman attending to it I definitely recommend this place ! 👍

This place has been around for a very long time I’ve been coming here for more than 30 years and generally it’s been fairly reliable The food is currently on the upswing and is generally tasty and enjoyable

I had the teriyaki salmon and it was delicious I would have it again without question There is some good variety on the menu though for seafood, they do tend to skew a little too much to fried options I’d like to see a few more fish varieties I really have to call out the service as it was beyond fantastic! Our server was attentive, friendly and anticipated our needs in many cases before we even asked Best service I have ever had here for certain and in my top 5 for overall service anywhere Nice job folks, keep it up A great spot especially in the warmer months as it is on the water

A step back in time that is well worth it! This was our favorite place when we lived in the area 25 years ago So, we returned for a nostalgic visit yesterday, July 20, and met bar tender Chase who was just delightful We had our favorite Cream of Crab soup, and it was even better than we remembered – a lot of great crab with a little cream stirred in and sherry on the side

Amazing! Had the crab cakes and they we equally amazing Chase recommended a very nice white wine which was perfect for a hot day And the atmosphere – what a view of the sailboat marina! We could have stayed all afternoon had our schedule permitted it The menu looks to be much as we remembered it, so we will return much sooner next time Go there! And ask for Chase to wait on you!

Beautiful views from large windows in the dining room Pleasant greeting upon arrival and escort to table very soon after arrival Nice nautical motif and wooden beams, ceiling, and large stone fireplace set the mood quite well

Food quite tasty and pretty fast on such a busy day as Mother’s Day Each mom received a Ling stem rose — very nice touch! Enjoyed my visit!

Millenial Mortician

While I did not stay on property, I had the opportunity to experience this wonderful place when my dad and my stepmom got married The scenic coastal charm was what first impressed me about this B&B While it’s not brand new or state of the art, one could say that it feels more like a favorite pair of perfectly broken-in tennis shoes than flashy Manolos that pinch

As for the innkeepers, I saw them work hard to make sure that even during (what I suspected to be) a hurricane my parents wedding was beautiful and personal! If you are thinking of staying here, do it! You won’t be disappointed but you will definitely be charmed!

There is no better place to get married than Black Walnut Point Inn Not only is the location itself magical and scenic, as you are surrounded by water with beautiful sunsets, but Bob and Tracy are incredible people who will help you craft the best day possible and who you will genuinely enjoy having at your wedding Tracy officiated our wedding and brought the perfect amount of sentiment and humor to the ceremony

They truly make you feel like family while staying at Black Walnut and do everything in their power to make sure your weekend is amazing Having the entire inn for the weekend was also wonderful We loved being able to spend that time with the bridal party and family, and not have to rush to pack up and leave the venue after the wedding was over This is a beautiful place to get married, made better by the wonderful people who run it! Can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to visit again

The rooms were nice and clean I think they could’ve definitely offered a balcony since no one was there but that’s not why I’m giving a 3 It’s in a nice area and the staff was friendly but I think other hotels in the area have more to offer for a few more $, if not the same price

The continental breakfast was packaged cereal and muffins and I just assumed there would be hot breakfast but that’s on me Again, the hotel was nice and clean and beautiful scenery on the back side of hotel

Ray Panek

No access to paddle boards or kayaks Website misleading in that regard, and it really disappointed our nature-loving daughter The staff directed us to rental shop about a mile down stream, but it was closed until May 14thParking filled up (even spots marked “for guests only” ) 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, and had to park outside the gate for this property (spots taken by patrons of the popular bar adjacent to the INN building)

We agree with other great comments about rooms, staff, and general accommodations being highly rated, but being outdoor Fanatics, you are surrounded by layers of power boats in every direction, so in my case, I just could not fully relax here without an option to enjoy the water quietly

siera Johnson

Bar at this hotel told me I was lucky to have my state issued va I’d back when I tried to order drinks They were convinced it was fake but it was 100% real Do not plan on drinking here if you are from out of state they will think it’s fake

Worst service ever bartender was Brunette (to be specific) didn’t catch her name but she didn’t care when I pulled a photo of my birth certificate with the same birthday Ridiculous don’t waste your time here Astonishing that’s at the age of 24 you can be refused to be served

We came over by boat Once we were anchored, we were greeted by a friendly young man that drives a little red boat He brought us the dock at the wharf

It is a super cute location with multiple small bars They have plenty of shaded seating overlooking the water We enjoyed the steamed shrimp, and fries Everyone was really welcoming It has the perfect laid back beach vibe

Food and drinks missed the mark

Way overpriced and food gave me stomach cramping for hours afterMaybe it was the orange crush that was made from orange that fell on floor? Not sure but something was offResturant is lackingA beer would be the only thing safe to orderWe ordered 2 fish sandwiches , since it wasnt crab season Not fresh What a shame they cant get a good bar menu since the location amazing

We fell in love with this gem immediately upon stepping out of the car Spectacular views of the bay Beautifully maintained garden trails

Pool and private beach (beware it’s jellyfish season) Our room was small but comfortable and we enjoyed our private hot tub every evening! The market across the street is convenient but our sandwiches were disappointing Ketch22, the restaurant on site has a great happy hour where we enjoyed cocktails every day Finally, the 5 minute drive into the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach allows for convenient shopping and additional wonderful restaurants! We are looking forward to our next visit…the best part being we only live 20 minutes away!!

I don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want more people to take the room we always stay in, kidding The inn at Harrington harbor it has to be the most quintessential relaxing Beach vacation in the northern Maryland Virginia area The staff is ultra friendly the rooms are extremely neat and clean and quiet and the beach water is perfect for the kids

I absolutely love taking my family here for a one or two nights stay once a month The local eateries are phenomenal too especially the bait and tackle shop across the street which has phenomenal crab cakes Catch 22 behind the inn is also phenomenal for drinks and food and pool time I cannot recommend this place enough! The inn at Harrington harbor has become our summer retreat over outer Banks and Ocean City Looking forward to our next day at the beach! The Sinclair family

We had a lovely dining experience The staff dealt with many unforeseen challenges gracefully The wings were delicious and the soft shell crabs were amazing

Our drinks were yummy, too!Great service despite being short handed!! We love this place!!

Stacey Michener Geisel

My husband and I went to the restaurant for my birthday It was delicious! We both said it was one of the best meals we’ve had on the eastern shore(14yrs as weekenders, 4+yrs full-time residents)The service was excellent! Our server Ginny brought out a generous slice of cheesecake with a candle & sand Happy Birthday~ so sweet :)) Cocktails were great! It was dark out so we couldn’t take in any of the ambience from being on the water but I’ve heard it is quite pretty

We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful bay-cation spot to unwind on island time at a slow pace in this charming little fishing village The views are idyllic Grounds are gorgeous

Design & decor are impeccably thought out Bathrooms could use a little more of a luxurious update (the shower water did have a funky smell & was hard to operate & our toilet made a lingering loud noise when flushing in Bungalow 5) Bungalow rooms are a bit small for a family of 4, but with so much to do outside, no need to spend time in the room other than sleeping As an early riser, waiting till 7am for coffee had me biking down to the Country Store (which is just a delight & has such tasty breakfast & lunch sandwiches!) Especially convenient as the sort of continental breakfast option was not our jam & no lunch is served on site currently Biking around this little island on the resort-provided bikes was fun & relaxing The saltwater pool was so pretty & the music around the property was perfect Lawn games, hammock & tree swing provided hours of family fun *Bring bug spray if out at dusk! Suggest a mosquito treatment for the property, but other than that, everything was wonderful! Last but not least, the staff was INCREDIBLE, everyone was so friendly, helpful & thoughtful & obviously genuinely cared about their job & the guests’ experience

Tatiana Cicchinelli

my family always enjoys our stay at this gorgeous location! The bungalows are always clean and ready for us and it is never an issue to have a fridge or other things they offer brought to our room The dock is awesome and the sunset boat cruise was a highlight for me! They have a general store very close that you can walk or bike to and views are unmatched! We come back every year and do not plan on stopping anytime soon!

Amber Hegseth

This place was okay but definitely not worth the amount of money they charge for a room We were fooled by the beautiful website into thinking this was a luxury property, but the rooms need some serious updating There was a jetted tub in the bedroom that we wanted to use but the water smelled like hard boiled eggs and stunk up our entire suite

The staff was nice and the restaurant was good (but overpriced) Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the pool or kayaks because the weather didn’t cooperate I’d consider staying here again if it cost half as much as we paid

I called them personally to cancel my reservation and they did not No one called me to tell me when had a room available and no one cancelled The charged the card on file without me checking in because the reservation required a cancellation and even tho I cancelled it a day before

I tried speaking to a manager in regards to the matter and she said she would send a letter to my bank and didn’t I didn’t even have to check in to experience the physical bad customer service, the disregard for my money and efforts to cancel the reservation was enough to understand these people do not careBE CAREFUL! They will do anything to make a dollar

This 5 star review is to reflect the amazing customer service that we received from check-in to check-out Everyone that we came into contact with were very nice, professional and accommodating It’s very rare to get that these days! The hotel is not bad for the price point and it looks like they are doing some renovations to upgrade it even further

We’ll be looking forward to seeing it when the upgrades are complete Thanks to their manager Kurt, housekeeping, and the front desk staff for providing us with top notch customer service!

Jessica Simon

Staff was friendly and accommodating… but that is about it ALL the machines in gym were broken

Our room was missing towels and coffee pods Breakfast buffet was very lackluster and the coffee they served was cold Housekeeping only stopped by once in our 3 night stay and all they did was exchange the soap? All around – pretty run down and not great
