One of the worst hotels I have experienced COVID restrictions on services were not fully explained at check in, and were only given after a call to the front desk asking why the room had not been serviced in three days The front desk assured me I would receive service the next morning, however it took another call to the front desk the following day and another morning (two days total) for my trash to be collected, and towels changed

Bed linens were not changed during this time, and only through leaving notes on doorknob hangers was I able to get bed linens changed During the second week I was in this room, bed linens were changed, however I found the dirty linens piled in the corner of my room These dirty linens were not retrieved for two more days Linens and towels alike showed significant spot-staining The air conditioner worked intermittently and the face of the unit fell off at the slightest touch The toilet required a minimum to two flushes to clear it and it would continue to run if the handle wasn’t adjusted Hot water worked only on occasion with little water pressure Door locks had noticeably delayed responses unlocking the door and the door refused to close all the way without significant effortI would not book this hotel again no matter how convenient it may be for the situation I would go out of my way to find another

It was ok The room was fine but I’m not sure of the cleanliness as we found objects in the fold out bed The bathroom definitely could use a few repairs and a deep clean

The lady at check in was awesome, as was the lady tending to breakfast Breakfast was ok, but there is no gravy for your breakfast during the week, only on weekends Pool was way too hot to enjoy and had a film It was like a sauna I would probably stay here again for a night, but don’t expect luxury

MaryFaith Bell

The gentleman at the front desk was nice but told me because since I didn’t have my company card he could not give me our room I proceeded to let him know that I was not given one by the company and it was a direct bill that everything was covered by work he kept telling me he could not check me in so I called my Manger (on a Sunday) to let her know what was going on she asked to speak with him finally after 2 hours he was able to see that everything was took care of bu the company’s card We get up to our room carpet is stained no wash clothes and only one towel I called down to the front desk to ask if we could have more towels and was told that there was none clean we would have to wait till in the morning I will never stay here again on a company trip 😡😡

Definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our road trip

Dawn Morris

Wonderful staff at this Courtyard location The hotel was a convenient location and as a bonus was two minutes away from a very large walmart The rooms are a little dated and definitely could use some maintenance and upgrades

Air conditioner didn’t work very well, and you can see light coming through the gaps on the side of it Hotel had a pool and nice outdoor patio out back Lots of military folks staying here who were very friendly I would stay here again if I was back in town

Crystal Lambries

Stayed here one night on our way to Florida with our 4 children Of course they wanted to swim to burn off energy after being in the car for the entire day The pool room stunk so bad it was hard to even sit in there

There was a sign over for the buttons to not use them for the hot tub, so jets couldn’t even be turned on Was super disappointed as this was the main reason we chose this hotel The room was spacious but little outdated I think we expected more Would not come back to this hotel

Carey Golden

Very quick, efficient, $ friendly staff The room was cool & clean but didn’t have an extra pillow or blanket Ask if you need one

Bathroom was well stockedOnly strange thing was the cable box on the back of tv was unplugged Kept trying to use the tv with remote & it wouldn’t work Just before calling the front desk, I checked the outlet & saw it was unplugged!

Anna Blissitt

The hotel and room were clean and safe The staff was great and very personable and professional The beds and pillows were comfortable

The hotel was quiet and I did not hear traffic noise from the nearby interstate I did not use the indoor pool but I did check it out It was clear and clean There also are washers and dryers that I thought were handy The breakfast was good and had several choices to choose from ie, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits, gravy, cereal, waffles, toast, bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, and fresh fruit The coffee was hot and very tasty There was an assortment of hot teas available as well The only complaints I had were the AC filters were pretty dirty(we cleaned them) and there was only one towel hook in the bathroom Both of these issues were addressed by the management in an email to me There was a note saying they only give fresh towels every 3 days, so guests really need more than one hook to be able to have a dry towel the next time it is needed Overall this is a good hotel for the price I found cheaper hotels online BUT the reviews were not good so this is why I chose this one I would stay here again

Brandy Abernathy

I absolutely love love this place The bed was so comfortable and the pillows was amazing! It was like sleeping on a cloud The staff was super friendly especially Lafonda

She went above and beyond to help me find out where I could buy those pillows from She even called me when I left to give me the phone number Definitely recommend this place!!!

D M

We spent the night here back in July for a quick overnight on a long family road trip The front desk employee, I believe Lavonda was her name but I’m not sure of the spelling, was super helpful both in taking our reservation and getting us checked in to a quiet room There were some large groups and so she was juggling phones and getting people checked in and did it all with a smile

As far as rooms, it was pretty much your standard interstate hotel, basic, but clean and we felt safe there

This place rocks The hotel is new, sure – but its clearly well cleaned and staffed with awesome people My stay was flawless and super comfortable

The rooms were well appointed and better than anything comparable What made the stay was the little details in the hotel that wer e just better, the staff that were awesome, and the overall quality of the appointments We stayed here on a trip through the area, and on our way back – we cancelled a hotel in downtown Nashville that was 3x the price, to stay here just because of how much we liked it Such a great night sleepOh, and Fido is not only welcomed but well taken care of My Labrador was adored by the front desk, taken care of, and loved the hotel Just be a good dog owner, and you’ll have no issues!100% a repeat, I’ll be back You will love your stay too

D Young

This was our second time staying at this hotel While it is still nice hotel and the staff is cool The breakfast was also good

However it did seem that housekeeping didn’t have the time to complete the cleaning of our room It was started just not completed Our bathroom was not clean upon our arrival, (housekeeping did come in and wipe it down) And after she left I opened the refrigerator to put our drinks inside and it was not cleanso we just didn’t use it during our stay

Rebecca Dean

I love the walk in shower and the soap and hair products dispensers, I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t give you little bottlesVery friendly with my dog and accommodating for himIt was minimal design but with bright colors and fun touches

It was a lovely stay away from home while getting a house project finished

Cyndi Haling

This room wasn’t so good Floors were dirty I’m not sure when they were vacuumed last

The smell is old musky The bathroom smelled like urine really bad The ac barely worked We were sweating just sitting in our room We were suppose to have a suite that held 5 which it did hold us all except we were lined up so close side by side There wasn’t a lot of room We paid $14000 for this room Definitely don’t recommend staying here

We LOVED the place The lobby is super clean, inviting, and modern The breakfast area is great as well

I have been super impressed by the staff working the breakfast There is always someone on duty who is friendly and helpful Not a single item has run out in the past 6 mornings The staff cleans after each guest is finished They are friendly and helpful The front desk staff has been wonderful as well We loved our sweet as well as the fitness center, hot tub, and pool One area that could be improved is skimming the pool more frequently Also, the housekeeping staff was super friendly and helpful I wish I would have caught the names of the gentleman and the lady who have worked breakfast this week My toddler made plenty of breakfast messes and they were professional and kind all week

Emily Pachunka

We haven’t even checked out and I wanted to leave a review We have dogs and this place is absolutely perfect We got the biggest room you can get with a kitchen and a family room and a separate bedroom

The dogs love it and there is plenty of room Everything is super clean and it’s very updated The lobby is really pretty as well I’m surprised that this hotel doesn’t have higher ratings I am usually a person that will stay at Marriott or Hilton but my mind has definitely changed with this experience Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay at the hotel chain again!! I also am a person that is one or two things bothers me in a hotel room I will either leave the hotel if it is Gross or switch rooms I am a little hard to please when it comes to hotels so take my review into consideration (:

Stopped here driving across the country The room was clean, reasonably priced and large for my family of 4 We had a king suite and the pull out bed was very large and comfortable

The kids enjoyed the pool And the breakfast selection in the morning was one of the better in our hotel stays The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating I would stay here again and highly recommend this location

Tony Swann

Kind of a weird hotel Rooms are small No Closet for your clothes, they literally hang out in the room

It was a very clean location The staff was extremely friendly except for the morning I checked out The front desk worker as I walked past didn’t say “good morning”, “how was your stay” This is a good location near Manny many dining options options but it is a PITA to get into They have a really good commissary

Brad Young

We reserved 3 rooms on the Hilton app hours ahead of a stay and there was a glitch that caused only 2 of the rooms to show up in this Home2Suites local system After standing at the front desk for over an hour waiting for the reservation to show up, the front desk manager refused to check us in with the confirmation from Hilton, and refused to call the hotel manager to ask how to resolve the issue and threatened to kick us out My wife has been in the hotel business for 20+ years and knows how the computer system works and was trying to help him resolve the issue, but instead he decided that digging in his heals was a better path

Better make sure you call and verify your reservationsCool off period edit: I stand behind my previous comments, however I will add that the front desk issue seemed to be due to a lack of training by the hotel management and Hilton themselves There should be a process in place to put customers with verifiable authorization into a room and deal with the paperwork, behind the scenes, the way customer service is supposed to workIt’s cool that they have several Tesla and EV chargers and the pool was clean The property itself gets a 375Next morning edit: the free breakfast and morning staff are phenomenal, and especially the gal who manages the breakfast area! Super friendly and she keeps it picture perfect 🤩 5 ⭐️ for the morning crew

The stay was good until we checked out bank statement The projected total of the stay was $1,140 Our receipt says $1,090

40 When we check the statement CandleWood pre-authorized $3,76871 When I called to speak with the front desk, the clerk, Kimberly, was rude and only could tell me that they only preauthorized the amount for the room to make sure ‘there was enough to cover the room’ That does not explain THREE times the amount We are in the middle of a military move and this drastically impacts our travel

Erik Clark

Haven’t stayed at a Candlwood Suites for a while as they had gotten the reputation as a stripped down extended stayThis property changed my mind The decor was up to date and gave a “homey” feel, and was immaculately clean

I was a late arrival and the clerk was at the counter when I arrived, not asleep in the office as happens when you arrive lateThe room was up to date, clean and well litI was traveling with wife/dogs in tow and it was not an issueNight and morning staff were professional and friendly I will return to this property when I am in the areaJust FYI, this property has ample large vehicle parking in the area, and is an easily navigated location

I stayed at this location for only one night during a cross country trip I arrived late and checked in at a night windowThe man at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly

It was refreshing to be welcomed so warmly after 14 hours on the roadThe room was clean It seems to have gone under some renovation recently as it was modern and fresh looking The bathroom was a bit dated, but I wasn’t spending inordinate amounts of time in there so this was fineThere seemed to be some sketchy clientele, but I assume they paid for a room like everyone else so they had every right to be there and our stay was uneventful so it’s mostly me just being suspiciousThe price point was perfect and I feel like I got just what I expected for such a rateThe bed was comfortable, somewhere between firm and soft It was supportive without being a rock The linens were clean and the room was tidy and free of issuesI did have a slight issue with the shower curtain that caused a slight flood in the bathroom that I had to soak up with a towel, but that could have been user error (I like to think I’ve mastered shower curtains at 47 years old, but again I was exhausted and may have botched it)I would stay here again on my next jaunt from TX to PAThank you for making a road-weary traveller feel welcomed after a stressful drive

BRISTOLENTERPRISES

The front desk staff was wonderful and I would rate them 5 stars The room was comfortable and had what we needed I would highly recommend the rooms with the jetted tub

They are very spacious The handicapped access parking could be better Our area had only one parking spot There was more than one vehicle that needed this access Also, at times people would park there without a permit or plate There was no way to identify who was occupying the space to have them move their car I would definitely stay there again

Glenn Hotz

I would give a zero if it was available We have stayed at Red Roof Hotels from Florida to Indiana We had to make an emergency trip because my mother in law is in critical condition and not expected to live a few more days

We always choose them because they are pet friendly We have 3 small dogs and they always travel with us The parking lot was empty but they only had 2 rooms available Their room rate was extremely inflated, most are at 55 to 65 a night The best rate they could give me was 88 a night and this was at 2am in the morning and checkout is at 11am I agreed, then she asked if we had pets and I told her 3 small dogs under 20 pounds Then she started she couldn’t help me, they only take 1 dog All Red Roofs should have to follow the same guidelines but their franchise allows them to make their own rules So we ended up driving another 3 hours to our final destination

Stayed one night while traveling cross-country with 2 young kids and our dog We really enjoyed our visit, so much so that we will seek out Quality Inns on our return trip The only thing I would change is requesting a 1st floor room as there are no elevators and was a struggle with 2 little ones, luggage and dog kennel

Not a complaint, more of a tip Indoor and outdoor pools Breakfast far exceeded our expectations, large assortment of hot foods and FRUIT!!!! The entire staff was professional and friendly My kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave Great value, easy location off highway, tons of restaurants close by Hotel has a restaurant, bar and room service options Plenty of green space to walk our dog and let kids play Room was a little dated, but very clean and beds super comfy At first glance, curb side appeal, is dated, certainly not a big enough deal to be a negative Glad we stayed here instead of Nashville! Well worth $150!

Gwen H

It was a decent hotel inside No elevator & outside entrances to the roomsThey offered a great breakfast buffet

There is also a dining room & barI booked it because I was looking for an indoor pool & jacuzzi I wasn’t aware that they were in the center of the lobby I would have preferred a little more privacy Also, the jacuzzi jets were at the bottom of the seat, so the only part that got a good massage was our butts, & the pool was a bit on the chilly side They also ran out of towels, so I would suggest bring your own

Laura Stearns

Traveling with two dogs and loved our stay here Lots of grass around the whole building to take them out Rooms are clean and breakfast is actual hot food and delicious

I’m giving it five stars because of all of the above, obviously it’s not a “five-star” hotel Total cost was $180 for a king bed and two dogs This is the second time we’ve stayed here while driving MN to FL and it’s a great place to stop and sleep We’ll definitely stay here again Also the woman helping at breakfast was very attentive and welcoming Thank you for working so early on a Sunday to help make our stay wonderful!
