Great location Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, supermarket, CVS just everything you need at your fingertips! We really loved the character of the hotel Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel lobby and cafe

Hotel pool and bar is across the street at beach and was a good time The breakfast was fantastic and inexpensive, staff was friendly and helpful especially Front Desk Mgr Kent Stevenson We enjoyed our stay and will come again!

Yvonne Kaufman

Overall our stay here has been very pleasant I have a beautiful view of the ocean from my balcony and that’s what I wanted when I booked this resort The staff are incredibly nice and helpful

My 6 year old grandson had an issue getting a toy we bought for him out of the packing The front desk clerk helped us The beach staff really lovely It’s in a quiet section of Lauderdale by the Sea with a 3 block walk to all the action on Commercial where there are many restaurants and live music On the negative the rooms do smell Someone said like a wet dog that sounds about right ! They are very sparse not even a coffee maker or bottle of water in the room and no room service so you can’t call for aCoffee when you get up in the morning However I was told you can get water at the front desk and we did The website I booked through said it had been renovated in 2017 It is in serious need of it now Very run down I would stay here again but I seriously hope they remove the carpets in the room and add a coffee maker

My son and I stayed for the week and it was amazing!! The staff and Manager were friendly, professional and catered to all of our needs I was so impressed!! They have a delicious breakfast buffet daily and the food at the restaurant was excellent The hotel sits on the beach so having daily beach access with towels and chairs provided was awesome

We will definitely be back Thank you very much for allowing us to have a memorable vacation❤️🏝🌞Stephanie and Tanner

We had a fabulous 4 day romantic getaway! From the front desk staff, the valet staff, outdoor staff (everyone, particularly Kenny and Kelsey) everyone was so friendly, efficient and nice! The beach is amazing, pool area great, room comfortable and sparkling clean! If you are a bit of a vampire like me and can’t be in the sun all day, the poolside cabana was so fabulous and well worth the nominal fee! We had breakfast indoors one day then lunch and cocktails at the pool a couple of days and everything was great! The only thing I would say we didn’t love was the coffee in the lobby, it was pretty awful, but the in room coffee was just fine!

Leann Fiore

The customer service here is incredible Every staff greeted me in the hallways with friendly conversations, and wanted to make our stay the best it could be with early check in and beach access The manager was on the beach with us checking in his business casual clothes! Gabriel from valet helped load our bags into our Uber! The room had extras of everything so we didn’t run out and the full size toiletries on the shower wall were appreciated

Hotel is right on the beach with free chairs and easy access

This is my first time in this hotel and it was a tremendous experience Everyone that works there is very professional, courteous, nice, and friendly But there are two people in particular that I have to say that they stood out above everyone else

Those two people are the bartender named Renee and the front desk named Cristian They both have excellent costumer service, extremely attentive, very nice and friendly as well as very caring and always going out of their way to make your stay the most perfect one that you can have I am very much impressed with them both because now a days you do not come across employees like that I hope that they both stay at this hotel as long as possible and that they both get a raise and that your company sees that they are both very good assets Thank you very much

We are currently on night 3 of a 4 night stay here It is absolutely wonderful I have stayed at many hotels and this one has been an amazing value

I read many, many reviews before booking and I haven’t encountered any of the issues shared by the negative reviews The front desk staff has been so friendly and accommodating The location is perfect- right on the beach with views from our balcony It is about a 15 minute walk to restaurants and amenities in the main part of Pompano Beach, but a 5 minute drive The pool area is beautiful and continuous with the beach, which is perfect for my small children to choose between beach and pool time The breakfast quality has been delicious with many options, even gluten free! And the breakfast staff have been amazing too The room is huge and has everything you need for a longer stay- a kitchen with a full size fridge and a washer and dryer are huge perks for us, travelling with small kids The beds are very comfortable Some reviews have mentioned outdated furniture It’s not the newest, but it is perfectly functional and for me I’d rather pay an affordable price than have a bunch of fancy stuff You do have to pay nightly for valet parking but they are super fast and we have enjoyed having that as a service to make our stay even easier Will 100% be back

Nestor Ciprian

This was the nicest Residence Inn I have seen They did not have my room ready but the front attendant invited me to go to the beach and hang there until the room was ready As I went to the beach, I was given towels and the staff at the beach set me up with lounge chairs and umbrellas

The hotel has a cool restaurant, it is on the water, and the view is oceanfront in majority of the rooms By the way, it is probably because it is off season, but it was less than $170 per night I will definitely comeback and stay here

Crystal ‘Bay’ Blake

We enjoyed our stay at this resort They Valet outside was great and patient as we waited for the rest of our party, our receptionist, Jason was top notch getting us accommodated

It is a little pricey, with parking and views, but so is everything in south Florida on beachfront resorts Our room was phenomenal and spacious! Also, there were free drinks at bar during happy hour! We were extremely happy with our stay!

ashley castellano

Our room suite was very spacious and clean This is definitely a family friendly hotel and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed Totally appreciate that

The hotel staff is also incredibly friendly and I love how everyone seemed happy and cheerful They really try to ensure that guests enjoy their vacations and feel catered to The only minor and I mean very minor, thing I didn’t like was that the restaurant didnt feel like a restaurant because it’s also used as a seating area for breakfast and the evening receptions If they actually had a stand alone restaurant, this place would be flawless Overall, very clean, quiet, and amazing staff We would definitely come back again

Laurie Wiese

Enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront resort Suites are spacious with two bathrooms, shower in one and tub/shower in the other Hotel is overdue for an update but remains in overall good condition

Front desk staff was courteous upon check in/out Restaurant bar staff as well as beach chair/umbrella attendant nice and accommodating Onsite restaurant had good food Breakfast was good but in need of additional staff to clear tables and maintain breakfast buffet area which was a mess Beautiful beach, good pool and jacuzzi Lots of fun!

Excellent hotel, completely new, the smell, the cleanliness and the attention make the stays in this place a 5-star experience The rooms are immense in size, with a dining room facing the sea My family and I enjoy this place (room 510)

The beach is very quiet You can hardly see one or two families in the distance There is a vast long sandbank allowing the children enjoy this area with peace of mind

This hotel is in a category of its own, from the moment you check in to the moment you settle in its 5 star service The front desk staff are amazing, the other staff are so friendly and welcoming Ann the general manager is a gem

She is beyond kind and so accommodating John the other manager was also so awesome The restaurant in the hotel is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a hotel Everything tastes amazing and fresh Must try the chicken breakfast sandwich Jason the chef is true artist with cuisine! The rooms are clean and spacious The hotel grounds are beautiful and it’s right on the beach This hotel is a 5 star hotel and we would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience luxury and fabulous service

Nichole Fishback

The Hillsboro Beach Resort: WOW It is the most picturesque place Walking out of the hotel towards the pool or beach provides a spectacular view of the ocean

It’s the most quaint and posh resort nestled amongst beautiful mansions and condos We met the General Manager), the bar manager Anthony, Natasha and the head Chef Jason at restaurant Rio, from which we ordered varied items from the lunch menu each day and we were pleased with every mean, Hilber (what was his name?) served us by the pool and at dinner on our last night there The room and view of the Ocean from the balcony was so awesome The maids and staff were attentive and wonderful The property l, staff and amenities are top notch We enjoyed laying in the super plush double cabana each day Really can’t say enough about this place and dying to get back!

Great hotel and staff! The room was small, but modern, and had a great view of the ocean Lots to do in the hotel with the pool, pool table, and a couple of old-school video games in the lobby There were a few bikes right outside the lobby as well

I think you had to rent them, but it was nice to have them close by The rooftop bar and sitting area were nice to enjoy in the evening The staff was great in pulling over an umbrella to our chairs to shield us from the Florida sun They have a decent breakfast in the morning as well, but no microwaves on the Tru property side (It’s attached to a Home2 Suites) The hotel is close to the beach, and several restaurants There’s even an ice cream shop and a store to purchase your beach supplies nearby Just about everything you need is within walking distance, just steps outside the lobby doors You don’t need a car unless you plan to go sightseeing It’s a great quiet, family-friendly hotel We enjoyed the quiet few days that we spent there

Duncan Murray

If you’re looking for a place near the beach in Pompano this is it Room was OK It was clean

If you’re staying more than a day know that there are no closets or dressers and the room is tiny even to live out of a suitcase Front desk staff was helpful and kind Breakfast is about what you’d get from heating up Jimmy Dean in the microwave at home BUT the staff there in the morning was kind and upbeat and friendly making the food more than bearable If you’re looking for a place to sleep when at the beach this is great If you’re hotel is going to be a part of your vacation and not just where you sleep at night just know what your getting Overall it was a fine place and I’d go there again if on business in Pompano I arrived there on a Tuesday and was initially planning to stay through Sunday with Thursday – Sunday being vacation in the Miami area I elected to move to a different hotel on Thursday precisely because I wanted amenities Tru doesn’t offer and there’s nothing wrong with that Again, the staff was great

Wallace Pressley

The hotel was outstanding for the location, however we had reservations for a balcony room and didn’t receive that The room was clean and the staff down stairs were great During check in they asked when the cleaning lady should come by

We stated everyday just for towel and nothing else We received one set of towels during our stay for four days The room was clean other than that

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tides Reinaldo (manager), William (groundskeeper), Mary and Luz (housekeeping) and the rest of the staff made our stay enjoyable Any issues we had were resolved promptly

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and our room, an efficiency, had everything we needed The grounds were well maintained I especially enjoyed lounging around in the hammocks The place is small, which meant that we often had the pool to ourselves and the beach wasn’t crowded They have beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes available for free and we used them all The supermarket is within walking distance, as are several restaurants I would definitely stay there again!

Kari Garrison

Everyone was so friendly and laid back Very clean Very accommodating

I mistakenly booked not realizing the location vs where we were headed to next I sent an email wanting to cancel The email I got in response was friendly and helpful I got busy and couldn’t continue with cancelling By the time I could get back to it, I decided to just go and make the best of it I am so happy I did We loved the location as far as stay for a vaca We have already started talking about going back

We stayed in unit 16 and loved it! The ocean view was incredible We also can’t say enough about the staff and how helpful and friendly they are We forgot a small bag and they shipped it back to us

Really thoughtful lifesavers! The location is perfect and all the restaurants are a 5-minute walk awayThe room was clean, and the appliances a really useful touch We were able to make coffee and breakfast and eat it with an ocean view each morning That ended up being my favorite part of our whole trip We’ll be back!

Jennifer Esposito

We stayed 2 nights and wish we could stay longer! Room 16 is the second floor facing the beach and is perfect! We arrived early, about 10am Naturally our room wasn’t ready, but we were given a parking space and access to the pools and beach We got a call a few hours later when the room was ready

There are beach chairs available for use Lots of lounge chairs near the pool and overlooking the beach The room was clean and cozy I would give 5 stars except the springs in the bed were loud Just sitting on or turning over woke us Good thing we were only sleeping!Shops and restaurants are within walkimg distance Bikes are available to use around town also I will recommend and definitely be back

Kyle Madigan

We stayed here for about a week in August I considered a few different places to stay, but decided on Windjammer We were in one of the studio units with a partial ocean view

Our room was clean, and the staff was very pleasant Short walk to the downtown, excellent beach, and good snorkeling right out front We were provided a beach umbrella, board games, and bikes Thank you, we will be back!

Hotels can always be a challenge no matter what brand but this one was fine despite some room for improvement Its not cheap, stayed in the 1 bedroom suite $$ traveling with my pup so having the corner room with separate bedroom is a must Full kitchen and mostly remodeled except for the old tub with no safety bars & very low toilet making it a challenge for anyone over 50! 😉

If they just finished the job it would be a 5 star Location on 95 and lots of nice grassy areas to walk your pup Noticed some mold in the corner so again a more thorough maintenance upkeep of these pricey rooms would help Staff very nice & accommodating Better than other properties, no bugs at least and nice pool area

DENISE WEST

The location is okay It’s in a business park so you don’t real know it’s there but still very accessible to the highway, restaurants, beaches and entertainment Breakfast is included so that’s a plus and it’s good

There were scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal and cereal everyday day, along with cold and hot beverages The rooms are decent and clean but the furniture and the kitchen within your room could stand an upgrade Online there’s an option to select 2 queen beds; however, this location only has rooms with king beds The staff is very welcoming and accommodating I’d stay here again

Nabilah Miah

Has to be one of the worst hotels out of the 247 Marriott locations I’ve been in They don’t return phone calls or emails in a sufficient manner From the most minor detail to the major they will do everything possible to come up with excuses to not solve your issue

My wallet was swollen with cash and coins on a day housekeeping was not suppose to enter, having two messages the day before and morning off stating no one would come in Reported it and called the police Pompano Beach Police stated this is the most popular location they get phone calls for and they told me it is the most unprofessional and confused team around the areaTheft occurred in a large sum and the hotels response was we interviewed our housekeeping members and they didn’t take it No one in their right mind will agree to theft especially if it was executed undetected Lack of customer service at this hotel and they will not make the customer happy not even with points for their errorOlder hotel with terrible management It is in desperate need of remodeling and new carpets The grill works once in a blue moon and if you raise concern, they shut you outStayed over a month and it had to be the worse experience Hilton all the way, switching to the better brand where the GM calls to apologize if there’s a light bulb that isn’t working

Stayed here this past weekend The view was great and so was the roomThe pool bartender Claudia was amazing, do not go to anyone else

The tall African American man who fixes the chairs in the morning is also wonderful, I did not get his name Both of these workers went out of their way to make sure our days were as best as possible, I loved being around both of them so much The service at the pool was fast, you were always asked what you needed and the place was very very clean Also, hit the coffee station in the morning Drinks are good and so are the workersThe only thing I would make note of when coming here is you will not be able to check in earlier or later than they say My boyfriend had surgery a few weeks before and I asked if they could check us in earlier and they could not I know our situation was out of the ordinary but it is something that people should know if they have a similar situation They also tell me you can pay to extend your stay the day you leave, but the day of told me I could not If you have any sort of personable accommodations you need from a hotel, I would not bank on this hotelOverall, I would stay here again You do not have to leave for meals or drinks and there is a story across the street that has little snacks and drinks if needed

Sean Curry

The BEST hotel/resort Really a resort!! EVERYONE is so kind and courteous! Special shout out to Amara at the front desk- she is the absolute sweetest and kindest!! Wait service at the beach and IN the pool The entire resort has this amazing smell piped in and they sell candles in the scent!! Can’t recommend this resort enough! 10 out of 5!!

Lisa Politto

We booked for a bride’s party to get ready before the ceremony We had a junior suite with an ocean view The view is gorgeous!!! However, the bathroom is completely and ridiculously outdated

The furniture is outdated and dirty! The servicenon existent! They actually disable the phone so that the room service button doesn’t work We needed champagne glasses so the bride had to walk down to the front desk where 3 employees continued to text on their phones and could care less She was told to go to the outside bar, where the bartender was very nice but very busy and had no champagne glasses at her bar For an over $530 dollar room, the service and amenities should be much better than it was

This has become our new happy place!! It’s SO clean, the staff is amazing and accommodating, the grounds are beautifully kept, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable and the views are incredible at any hour of the day! The location is perfect – we never bother renting a car because everything is in walking distanceI love how the owners of this family run business take the time every day to connect with their guests – they could be seen early in the morning resetting the pool chairs and stopping to chat and check in with people, sitting with new arrivals or those getting ready to depart in the lounge area by the office, or just being present every day You can see and feel their passion for this resort and their desire to provide every guest with a positive experience

The team – from the office staff to the grounds keepers to the housekeepers were all incredibly friendly and are clearly treated well by the owners We had a battery issue with our in-room safe and they immediately came and rectified it – with a smile and friendly conversationI could go on and on about how lovey this resort is but I think you get the picture It ticks off all of the boxes for being a super high quality, well run, spotless and fabulous place Like Maureen in the office says, “if you can’t be happy here – you’re probably not happy anywhere!”

I live in Miami & wanted a quick, close getaway I found it to be a nice, older resort with surprising amenities like an indoor & outdoor pool, hot tub & a sauna which other resorts don’t offer, at least none of the ones I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at many The interior of the rooms are much better than the exterior of the buildings but the resort is extremely clean all around the property

The staff are warm, welcoming & helpful, especially Tess at the Front Desk She has a wonderful personality and is doing an amazing job I feel like I left a friend there I truly enjoyed my stay I highly recommend this resort & look forward to returning soon

While this place isn’t the fanciest, it is a pretty good value We stayed in an ocean-front studio for 3 days over new years and had a great time! The room was clean and the view couldn’t be beatThe kitchen was small but serviceable for breakfast every morning

The balcony overlooking the beach was great! There are a bunch of other amenities (pools, hot tubs, etc) which we did not use but looked nice!

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel It has direct access to one of the nicest parts of the beach (water sports area) , and the rooms are nicely decorated You can tell them really care how it looks

In this same trip we have stayed in hotels that cost 3 times or more and not the same attention to detail The wall art is not monotonous, it’s actually a nice touch Be advised that all units I believe have a full kitchen with full size refrigerator Location is very central too The reception area is off-putting but that was the only issue we weren’t so happy We paid for a studio but when they asked us to change room they upgraded us to a 1BR The studio was perfectly nice

This us actually an “Old Florida” timeshare without any of the typical timeshare BS It is well run and managed, the people who work here are like family, and the location can’t be beat locally Most “residents” own multiple weeks

Yet, it’s affordable with $2,500 for an off-season deed plus about $600 annual maintenance and taxes, which can be recouped on sale or renting your week if you can’t comeFor more information about the location look up Lauderdale by the Sea, which is the shore diving and snorkeling capital of the 48 contiguous states and has a thriving little dining and entertainment town center about two blocks north

We love “throw-back” resorts and this one fills the bill Located on the beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, this quaint, converted motel complex has a pool, grills, and laundry But, most of all, it has EXCELLENT wifi (upgraded several years ago)

So, if you can “work from home”, you can certainly vacation here and see no difference (except for the beautiful, subtropical surroundings) You’re only a short walk away from the town tennis courts and the “downtown” area (which is one block by two blocks) and contains several wonderful restaurants This is a great destination no matter how you’re traveling (single, couple, family)

Pam Rich

Still love Southern Seas and the wonderful Florence who manages itHowever a designated smokers area is needed The resort was full and all guests congregate at the pool area and smoke cigarettes and cigars all day long in front of our rooms, even RIGHT outside our sliding door

no escape!! Pretty disgustingForced us to close all doors and windowsWhat is needed is a designated smoking area away from rooms and kids swimming etcSmokers are going to smoke but why should we have to suffer with it constantly!?Other guests who had premium rooms also were bothered by it!It is puzzling that resorts of are reluctant to designate a dedicated smoking areaOtherwise the rooms are nice and clean and the location is unbeatable

Audrey Luo

It’s very nice at its price range The motel provides us every for the beach: two chairs and an umbrella There are sunscreens for guests to use too

The room is spacious and clean I like to sit in the patio and enjoy the sea view The pool is small but it’s right on the beach The location is very convenient, walking distance to all the nice restaurants The only drawback is the there’s smell of mold

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ebb Tide Resort!! We felt so safe with the location (you can’t beat ocean front) In walking distance to all the shopping and dining in the East Pompano area Very family friendly with the pool and spacious room for my toddler’s pack n play, play pen, all of our belongings etc

Found myself appreciating the a/c- The room gets nice and cool at night after a day at the pool or beachmy baby slept better than usual😀 The staff are super and checked us in quick with smiles on their faces The owner Karen, is the sweetest and truly cares about your experience Loved the style of the room, with the wood floors and eccentric furniture Can’t say enough nice things about this spot We will definitely be back 😀and recommend it to any friends and family that need a getaway with awesome vibes

Sarah

My only complaint is the $75 pet fee compared to the price of the rooms it’s pretty insane Especially since there is no more work to put in to cleaning the room with or without dogs Other than that it was a great location, great beach and pool

Room a bit run down but comfortable Should change mat in front of door to one that will collect the sand so it doesn’t get everywhere

Thomas Palmer

Furniture is eccentric Decor is outdated Cleaning lady could clean better and be more respectful of the occupants by knocking before entering the room, but overall the location is great and the staff was great and the owner Karen is a doll, she made it right when we checked out

We will definitely visit again Loved how family oriented it was and how the beach is private

Fantastic stay We had a garden view studio and it was so clean and comfortable Cindy waited at the office for our arrival as we had a plane issue

Ice cold air conditioning, tidy kitchen, laundry facilities Two very quiet pools plus a 500 foot walk to a very clean, quiet beach Literally took less than 5 minutes to walk to restaurants, Walgreens, etc We will definitely come back again

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lauderdale By The Sea, look no further Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants (5 minutes or less) Beach access right across the street!! From the moment we arrived I knew we chose the best place to stay

Cindy, the general manager found us wondering about and knew that we were the late arrivals She showed us around and then brought us to our room The room is very nicely updated and the cleanliness wasn’t lacking at all! The bed was very comfortable and the walk in closet was a huge plus Loved that we were provided with beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas Cindy held our luggage in the office after check out since we didn’t need to be at the airport right after All of the staff made us feel welcome and knew us by name We are looking forward to coming back next year and will definitely be booking at Sea Spray Inn❤

Jasmine Stancill

The location is amazing if you love easy and quick access to the beach and comes with free parking which was huge for us Upon arrival we were greeted by Cindy whose the GM and provided the smoothest and easiest check in experience imaginable Once we checked in Cindy showed us around and gave us a tour of where we’d be staying

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious There was coffee, a couple of snacks, some bottles of water in the fridge for us, and the cutest little teddy bear with their logo Cindy even offered to help us with our baggage and was willing to help make anything we wanted to do while vacationing happen We usually tend to just relax so we were fine but thought that was super nice to offer There were also various flyers and coupons you could take to use during your stay at the office We didn’t have to worry about beach towels, chairs or umbrellas since they were provided for you When you didn’t want to go to the beach they have a nice heated pull that felt amazing My husband and I had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we visit Fort Lauderdale!

Overall, I had an excellent stay at the Boca Raton rendition of the Wyndham The rooms were great, the pool was a blast, and the service was phenomenal The man that brought it all together was Charles Jones, who works at the front desk

His service was second to none and his familiarization with the local area was top notch which enhanced my experience in Boca Raton Charles went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I maximized the time that we had here

Melanie Holmes

Room was clean, stay was great Albert at the front desk treated us like family We had an unexpected overnight stay due to flight cancellation and weather

Albert found us a room and accommodated all 4 of us We asked about food around that we could get (0030 pickings were slim), he informed us what was close When we unloaded and came to our room, he had left us a care package In this day and time people like Albert are few and far between Albert has restored my faith! Wyndham Boca should be grateful to have him representing them Thank you Albert!! 💕

George Arnold

It’s not a bad place It’s an old Boca accommodation Still has the stinky gooey rugs under the bathroom sink? ( in the bedroom

Think hygiene, think wet rug, and toe funguses, WHY in the bedroom??? And not in the bathroom???)A noisy air conditioner is in every roomIf you have not experienced this before you need to learn how to yell hereIt’s an old place, and is not all bad, I do think they are improving!New paint, very good housekeeping, friendly employeesGreat pool, few kids mid weekLots of good food choices to walk toI’ll probably go back! It brings back the memories It’s oldBoca
