This is a beautiful hotel The entry and lobby are stunning and large Lots of room

Things are spread out and the amenities are greatI had a great welcome upon arrival for businessThe evening happy hour is really a nice touch Lots of drinks and beers to choose fromThe snacks are basic but not meat to fill up on which is niceMy room was clean and had a great layout I would stay here again on my next trip

Kris Cherry

This hotel is very nice, great decor, awesome lobby Rooms were nice and clean, bed was a little hard Happy hour drinks were great and a good selection – the only negative of the happy hour was the poor selection of snacks and that they didn’t keep them stocked

There were at least 50 people there and they refilled the tortilla chips once For a $150 room I would expect them to spend a little more on the happy hour snacks Everything else was great though

Whitney Booker

The rooms were very nice and super clean Front desk staff was helpful and attentive The breakfast is incredible! I’ve never seen a breakfast like this at a hotel

Mounds of bacon, eggs, French toast, biscuits and gravy, sausage, made to order free omelets, fruits, yogurts, bagels, waffles, and so many drink choices including soft drinks This place is fantastic!

My boyfriend and I have been staying here while he works I am so happy with our stay so far! Everyone at the front desk is very helpful and answers any questions we have The house keeping staff is so friendly and gets us anything we need

I love that they communicate with us and the front desk to ask when we need housekeeping everyday! Everything is so clean, even better then the pictures Thank you so much to everyone that works here you all have made our stay so comfortable and convenient!! -Savannah and Cam

Where should I begin…1 The ice machines on two of the three floors were out of order2

The vending machines were either out of order or sold out of nearly everything, including water3 The phone in our room didn’t work so we had to call the front desk from our personal phones4 The mini fridge in our room didn’t work5 The Wi-Fi was basically unusable6 And to top it all off, there were children running and screaming up and down the hallways at all hours We had to call at one point to complain about them because they were so loud on the first floor we could hear them on the second Having to remind the front desk to enforce their “no running in the halls” signage should not be the job of the guestsThe room itself was otherwise clean and housekeeping was good But all in all I would not stay here again Half the amenities were broken, our of order, or out of stock, and the children running around made navigating the halls a hassle and getting anything amounting to sleep almost impossible

First off the description as a “casual hotel” is a bit off

Outward facing motel style rooms, not inward hallway limited access hotel rooms We inspected the room: floor is clean, tub is clean, bed is clean, single hair found on mattress pad Shoes found in the dresser (not cleaned) and the fridge has spoiled milk in the cavity which wreaked We’re here for a kids music concert event and we’ll survive I’m sure, but we won’t return

American Texas

Sketchy place

I was asked by the desk clerk who was Hispanic female She tried to ask me if I wanted to rent the room by the hour and she would meet me there I thought to myself what sort of establishment is this? This sounded like more she was trying to pocket the money I wouldn’t recommend this motel First, the management needs to straighten their employees Can’t imagine how this motel got this franchise Buyer Beware!

This hotel was the best Super clean no mold It did not smell like a dirty mop when you walked in

The staff was very friendly my sister had 4 kids and i have one They did not harass us with having kidswe had different rings we did not stay in the same room The room size was perfect We booked a 2 queen bed and it was just enough the standard room the bathroom was large The view was not that great from the room, But if you go to the pool area that view of kyle field was amazing The pool area was beautiful they offer towels and those that don’t, swim they have these cute chairs that sit in the water so you can wet your feet Also the hotel has beautiful places to take pictures in the hotel and parking was very convenient The security I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE you need a key card to get through the doors of the hall where your room is They have a floor for dogs, but i never heard dogs barking I seen them but never heard them Super safe place for families Outstanding location They also have quiet hours 10pm to 6am allowing people to get some rest room service was amazing when we asked for towels they came quick and this was Mother’s day weekend The university is absolutely beautiful Most important they do not treat you different because of your race Beautiful place i love it They don’t have bugs either Please book here worth the price

Mike Staufert

We gathered at the T Lounge to pay our last respects to a former co-worker Suitably elegant with great views of the surrounding area Information at the entrance to direct one and signs posted and a large capacity covered garage to service the Hotel

I would have tasted the mixed drinks but I had to work that night Fine overall impression of this facility in hosting this event for a friend

K C

This place is so weird I just wanted a room for graduation for my family I have no doubt the rooms are nice but, why is it so scummy on bookingWhen you call, they do not give the website rate, it’s often higher as they don’t tell you about the private offer on the website

When you mention it, they largely ignore it because I think they must work on commissionIn addition, all their discounts like AAA don’t stack with the true rate of the room So they offer discounts but those discounts are not really discounts as the savings is not cheaper than the discounted (real) price of the roomIt’s just such a shame This is a university hotel Why do they need to be so shady one all the different prices for the room When your offering a discount for something like AAA or AARP, then you should get a discount

The grounds were disgusting if you don’t mind being in filth of trash everywhere, the pool was green my 8 year old came out with 6 fingers on each hand, room temperature never below 75 so if you want it cooler do not come here The staff is only reason I stayed, never have I been to a Hilton with filth or temperature problems Oh and the hallway leading to your rooms easily 80 degrees or warmer if I would have been able to check temperature

Justin Newson

This was the worst Hilton property I have stayed at Very disappointed Pictures must have been taken long ago, cause it looked nothing like this… Landscaping was non existent, weeds over growing all the beds higher than a grown man, was told the pool was open, but it was Green and looked disgusting, our floor stunk so bad with a horrible stale stench! Our room was ok, but then found things in the sheets like black hair and wrappers/trash… so they didn’t look washed

No one attending the desk in the evening, after waiting for someone, returned to my room to call room service and it was answered right away?… I would stay somewhere else, won’t be staying here again…

We stayed at the Stella on March 4th, 2022 weekend Staff was extremely friendly Hotel was very nice

Beds were super comfortable Shower was a nice set where the shower faucet was on the opposite side of the shower head Facilities are also well laid out Nice coffee shop Campfire breakfast was the bomb Shout out to William Cole Inc for developing a fantastic hotel

Sean O’Sullivan

The hotel wasn’t bad It’s a little outside of the hustle and bustle of the city and the lake makes for a nice calming view However some of the amenities being advertised were still in progress and others were talked up larger than they warrant

For instance the spa amenities are limited to a single hot tub that holds about 4-5 people total The ‘two’ resort style pools are really just two small pools in the same space separated by a wooden bridge — which is comfortable enough but doesn’t afford the degree of pool capacity as it suggests and resulted in a kid-packed pool during the dayAlso oddly enough the hotel restaurant and bar close at around 2PM on Sunday, which is not convenient for a one-stop relaxation shop over a weekendI was able to take advantage of a Memorial Day weekend lull and get decent rates, but it might’ve been a harder sell at a higher price knowing what we know now

Heathor McDonald

Thrilled that this hotel is now a signature hotel with Marriott! We’ve stayed here a few times and loved it Our last stay was for our wedding and it was the perfect place to stay as our home base for the wedding weekend Management accommodated our little extras we asked for help with for our wedding party’s stay there as well

It’s small enough to feel cozy and personable yet big enough to have all the amenities you need Desk staff were super friendly as well as the on-site bar and Campfire restaurant Rooms are comfortable and quiet Everything was very clean Can’t wait to go back for a nice relaxing weekend!

How does a hotel not have extra pillows? We booked a double queen suite, and they did not have enough pillows on the room I called down to the front desk and they said they don’t have any more pillowsYour business is to provide a place for people to sleep and you don’t have enough pillows?Room smells like Raid

Rayna Todd

When I checked in I was informed there was no wi-fi I am here on business and not having wifi is causing me to completely waste my time here Instead of working in the comfortable room I paid for, I have to leave and go find a place with wifi

When I complained and asked if I was going to be compensated for the inconvenience, the clerk was rude and snarky!

Shari Hopkins

I’m not sure why this hotel has so many great ratings This hotel allows animals Our room smelled like a pet boarding house

We had cat litter scattered on the floor in our kitchenette The furniture and carpet was heavily stained The bed sloped down and was lumpy The drapes wouldn’t close all the way Furniture had been scratched or chewed on We could hear the dog next door barking Breakfast was okay, but they ran out My husband is a titanium member, so I guess he got the crappiest room available? 🤷‍♀️ Never again

Very clean stainless steel appliances, dishes and dish cleaning supplies were provided I was impressed with the service staff and how available they were to tend to needs Beautiful Breakfast buffet every morning with multiple options (waffles, hot & cold cereal, eggs, sausage, muffins) and of course delicious coffee but my favorite was the fruit and yogurt bar! Overall great experience will stay again

Paul Koch

We stayed 4 nights at this location The room looked clean and tidy but maintenance issues were ubiquitous Our room had a built in microwave that was unplugged and a large countertop replacement that worked but took a quarter of the counter space in the place

Also there was a cove base tile laying on the floor of the bathroom, a flickering light fixture, the fridge was 4 times louder than expected when it ran, and there were obvious and incomplete repairs to the tub enamel The room only had one roll of tp which was not sufficient for 3 people and a 4 night stay I’ve never had to ask for this item at a hotel before The location and breakfast were convenient and good which made up for some of the maintenance issues Staff were helpful and pleasant but did not seem empowered to correct the issues we reported I like folding luggage stands at a hotel but the 2 rolling and one stationary ottomans served well in this capacity I would stay again but would inspect the room on arrival and demand a different room if similar items were found again

Very dirty , Not safe Three girls Emily, Megan (GM) and Allie so called working they gets customers (guys) numbers and ask them to do their jobs for them ie telling people to leave or really anything they don’t want to do, or to go get them food They let anyone off the streets walk in and out

Anyone is allowed to get in pool (homeless) even their dog After two hours before Emily had a customer tell them to leave She could not do it herself Honestly they don’t care or know who’s coming or going unless you help them Then they make sure they know your name and where your at at all times Never have clean towels and the beds are completely horrible no cameras or security people cars are broken into Pool furniture gets trashed nightly And be aware your credit card will be charged multiple times due to the lack of training and knowledge This place should do better the owners and staff should be embarrassed Sharonda was amazing and her attention to everything / everyone is spot on no matter what times she worked And always very helpful to everyone I will be filling a formal complaint with the Health department and anyone else I need to Big companies have already add this hotel the their blacklisted

Green place to stay in College Station!Elegant, eccentric, Texan and classy without being stuffy and snooty Absolutely appreciate all the attention to detail that has been put into this hotelVery relaxed atmosphere accentuated by a very welcoming staff made our stay fantastic

The lobby, lounge, bar and patio areas are comfortable and appealing while the same attention to perfection flows right into the roomsFabulous property…we will be back!

The George is by far my favorite place to stay in College Station Rooms are always clean and the bartenders are always friendly One thing I’d like to bring attention to is that I’ve stayed here about 5/6 times and I signed up for their VIP program, and every time I check in it never fails, they ask “is this your first time here?” I think that small recognition of vip members would go along way

Makes me wonder what the program is for anyways On one stay with my 88 yo mother, the manager complementary upgraded our room and my mother was so impressed with him! I highly recommend the George as a classy property! Ps I hope the breakfast will be coming back as it is a good breakfast and is a nice perk added Thanks Valencia Group!

The winery tour (tasting class, tour of the vineyards, processing, and storage, and a walk of the grounds) was amazing! We stayed for the B&B too The restaurant was delicious, the room was cozy and beautiful, and the other patrons were fun to engage with as we passed them on our nightly walk I loved the Ivory Ports of Call, but no longer made

Before they stopped producing it though, the staff created a label and put it on a bottle of that deliciousness that read, “Sarah, will you marry me?” I proposed a few months later with that bottle And yes, we are married now!

Christine Frey

We were absolutely blown away by how gorgeous and relaxing a place to stay this was!! We stayed in the Marie Antoinette room (highly highly recommend – it has a large bathtub and a beautiful balcony view of the trees and of some of the fountain, and it is on the top story) We absolutely loved our room, the amazing wine tour, the wine tasting, and the delicious coffee and breakfast each morning (all are included in the stay!) Thank you Messina Hof for helping us to recharge our batteries!!!

Treivor and Lisa Cashion

My husband and I stayed here our wedding night and were showered with lovely service Our room key was easy to pick up, the whole villa was very peaceful and quiet The breakfast was outstanding and included mimosas and sunrises (cranberry and champagne)

Jean, the keeper, was very helpful and even offered us a later check out since no one was checking in after us The free tour and cheese and wine tasting is a really nice touch too! Will definitely go back for our anniversary O:)

It’s a solid Residence Inn with everything you’d expect

clean rooms and public areas, nicely appointed spaces, friendly and accommodating staff, etc The suite we were given (on points) was weirdly located in an inside corner of the hotel Instead of 2 windows out into the sunlight, there was one that faced into the hotel wall LOL The price was right, but it’s strange they put us there with so many open rooms availableThe room was a little dark The fixtures have fluorescent bulbs Some of the fixtures poorly lit areas of the room It really needs upgrading to LED lightingThe public areas were clean and the breakfast was standard fare, plentiful, and fresh The hotel is located close to dining, shopping, and of course Texas A&M campus GO AGGIES!

Jason Kaplan

Very very disappointing and upset Checked in, in the evening and room was not very cool but cool enough and cooling a little Tried to take a shower but had to wait 20 mins for hot water

At 100a woke up sweating because room was now 80 degrees Swapped rooms to a smaller room with working AC Called at 10:45a for late check out As Titanium we are guaranteed a 4p checkout They told me 1p was all they could do Then called me back 30 mins later and advised I had been checked out already and was not allowed back to my room Marriott has continuously gone down hill and this is just another sign they don’t care about their customers loyalty

Kim Gonzales (Kimmie)

Nice, clean and large rooms I was disappointed there was not a hair dryer in the room, no USB ports, and the TV worked intermittently They sent a tech to fix it but it still didn’t work

The shower was amazing The water was nice and hot Great water pressure Wgen we checked in the staff was amazing When we’re checked out the staff was a bit rude but did answer our questions Over all nice hotel

Last time I stayed at this property it was a solid 4 stars The only issue I had was that the pool was closed early because of some rowdy kids, but we didn’t really have time to swim anyway, so it wasn’t too big of a deal We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and genuinely looked forward to our next stay

The reason for my 1 star review at this time is that I was turned away from the hotel for being a local resident I was so shocked by this (since we had stayed before) that we asked to speak with a manager The general manager was not at the hotel (Sunday) and did not answer when the front desk agent called Not only is this a lousy policy, the customer service dealing with the problem was not adequate I had prepaid the room online and had to call the third party to call the hotel to get a refund Then I had to start over and make a new reservation at a different hotel I won’t mention the drama caused by my 3 children who were looking forward to their vacation We got to a decent hotel and checked in no problem The children have recovered and will never stay here again But that is what Wyndham wants, so I guess everyone is happy now

I’m so happy I found this hotel!! My husband and I stayed here for 15 nights (Yes, that much) and let me tell you I’m looking forward to my next business trip to stay here again Rooms were spacious, very clean, and with a comfy bed

Breakfast was delicious, forget about waffles and cereal like others hotels do This breakfast was pretty yummy, like a buffet type And they change what they offer, is not always the same On Thursdays they offer a delicious dinner (fajitas and loaded potatoes) awesome😋So grateful with kitchen staff (Maria and Manuel) were so nice to us, always caring about everything They made us feel like home Always with a smile in their faces Very kind persons Also excellent service from the bartender, super kind tooI’m not the kind of person that writes reviews, but this hotel totally worth itThank you!!

We stayed here for a wedding after Thanksgiving with our young children and had the best stay! The room was very clean and spacious! The door between the couch pull out room and the main bedroom was so nice The kitchenette was also a nice surprise! I liked having a sink as well as microwave and mini fridge Isaac was very attentive and helpful! The hotel was decorated for Christmas and we took cousin pics by the fireplace- the weekend continental breakfast was wonderful as well! We didn’t have a single complaint! I would happily stay here again!

My family stayed here for two nights for a mini staycation for spring break The only problem we encountered was the main pool heater being broken My kids still swam in it! The staff was aware of them problem and was working on getting it fixed before I said anything about it

Everything else about the stay was absolutely amazing They have a free hot breakfast, the rooms are large, clean, comfy and quiet They are located close enough to walk to several restaurants The main thing that I really want to emphasize is the staff It seemed like they actually had a lot more staff there than I usually see daily at any hotel, and *every single one of them* greeted me and asked if there was anything they could get me! It was like they had a manager or secret shopper they were expecting and they were all on their toes But it seemed genuine and natural, like they really hoped I was enjoying my stay I’ve never felt as welcome at a hotel as I did at Hyatt Place The hotel was a lot busier that I’ve seen it at previous stays, but I was only aware of that during breakfast and at the pool So many guests were taking advantage of the amenities, but there was always plenty to go around

Stayed for 3 nights & it was a clean, well maintained hotel with friendly staffPROS:- Large, spacious room (King bed with a partly petitioned wall with a large sofa that can be converted to a sofa bed)- Basic amenities inside the room: Microwave oven, coffee machine & small bar fridge- Good breakfast options with different menus each day- Clean, well maintained facilitiesCONS:- It might be a personal taste, but I did not like the bathroom sink to be in an open area as part of the room- Again, this might be a personal preference, but the bathroom was just a standing shower Would have preferred a bath tub- Lack of storage space in a spacious room

Only had 2 drawers within the bath sink & small closet Would have liked to see an actual drawer chest- The coffee was being served only during breakfast hours Would have been nice if they left the coffee pots out for a longer time

I understand the other factors, such as service and location, when averaged with “room” would be higher than a 2 starsHowever, the ROOM in which one stays is THE most important factor in a hotel stayFrankly, the rooms were inadequate

I found it to be dingy, and the bathroom deplorable, reminiscent of a bathroom in a cheap east Texas homeIn fact, upon entry, I was greeted with a hilariously broken toilet seat – hanging on for dear life by one postI wondered how often the bathroom was cleaned and this was not reported to be fixedThe tiles were cracked on the floor, and the shower tub was also dingyI loved having to stuff a towel against the door because there was a giant crack under which would otherwise allow light and noise to enterThe air-conditioner would sometimes wheeze on with a faint moldy smellThis hotel is best for college kids or conference managers who wish to pinch pennies

I didn’t really know what to expect, as I don’t think that I have ever stayed in a Best Western Premier It was a very good experience Parking was good, staff was polite and efficient

The room was superb The shower could have been better, but how many hotels have really good showers? And finally, the breakfast was very good Instead of the usual “fake” scrambled eggs, they had some sort of “poached” offering Surprisingly good

Stay here! The hotel was excellent I look for 3 things in hotel…cleanliness, water temperature, and water pressure This hotel was a hit on all levels

And my favorite part was the shower had a door and not a curtain! The bed slept well and the breakfast included real eggs! Next time I have an event in the area I’m definitely choosing this location again Don’t hesitate on this one, it is worth it I didn’t get a chance to take pictures but it is just like the photos on the website Those are not stock photos like other hotels like to use to deceive you

Traveling with my pet its difficult to find a pet friendly hotel that is clean and staffed by professionals Finally found oneAlso the free breakfast bar is awesome definitely the best in recent memory

Most hotels are still using COVID as an excuse to not provide this benefit OR should I say “profits over service” I really recommend this hotel if you need a nice clean place to sleep

This is one of the more nicer hotels I have stayed at The staff was very friendly and helpful Rooms were nice they have two separate areas, one living type area and one bedroom area

The living room area would get very warm and had to keep the door open to try keep it cooled down They do a social event type thing on Wednesdays, it was okay just a little better selection of food would have been nice I would would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

After staying at 2 different brand hotels that are pet friendly, with rock hard mattresses, I was WILLING to pay a little more for the HAWTHORNE!!! THE MATTRESS WAS LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD😄😄😄There’s $30 nonrefundable pet fee, but the room was GREAT!!! My pets enjoyed the place, and I slept very well❤️❤️❤️And thank you to Thomas, a friendly desk clerk, who was very helpful ❤️

Great customer service at the front desk, helpful, friendly, professional, Ethan went the extra mile to help us print important paperwork for seminar the next morning Clean hotel, comfy bed and pillows Day staff at front desk let us check in early, made a point of putting us in a room on the quiet side of the hotel without our even having to request it

Great room for a good price Definitely would stay here again

Amazing customer service up front Gave us extra towels, told us we could use the pool past 10 pm closing time Very nice staff

The rooms are okay Some have been redone and some have not We stayed on the fourth floor The beds are comfortable but the pillows are not The room gets cold quickly which was nice on a hot summer dayThe one thing is that the shower was VERY slippery and the glass door was off the hinge so I was afraid of it breaking and/or using the handle for stability
