My sister is an owner and we stayed as her guests This is my third time at this resort I would come back here for every vacation, if I could

The rooms are always on point The kitchen is filly’s ticked with any dishes you may need on your stay, if you want to cook I’ve had the pleasure to stay in a full ocean view room and a partial ocean view They are all great rooms The staff are always friendly and helpful Cindy is a great concierge This hotel is RIGHT ON THE BEACH Literally walk out and be on the beach in mere steps It’s right on the boardwalk as well There are restaurants and shops all around as well The hot tub and indoor pool was nice and clean

Sam RF

I want to rate this hotel higher, the staff seem wonderful but staying here a week proved to be almost impossible to get a good nights restOn floor 16, all you hear is the massive amounts of road noise (cars, horns, music, etc), ontop of the little amusement ride generators and kids screaming, added to the VERY thin walls (any hallway conversation or door closing), we even got the pleasure of hearing our neighbors yelling at each other at 2amOther than that a nice hotel, but even though I’m NOT a light sleeper I was woken up numerous times every night

A sound machine and leaving the TV on did little to dampen the external noises

Tina Smith

Beautiful resort with floor to ceiling windows if your lucky enough to get the oceanfront view It’s a beautiful view on both sides looking out and at the ocean as the sun comes up,You are able to utilize the two resorts on each side for all amenities such as the pools, hot tubs , snack bar or when they have an ice cream social They just need to enforce chair reserving

At 8 am I watched as 12 chairs were reserved with towels and the people left Check in was quick although the lady promised to call us when room was ready , she never did and we found out our room had been ready earlier We had tried to get checked in before a big storm so we didn’t get our belongings wet They Audi did not activate our room keys properly , they stopped working after the first day as they only activated for one night instead of 2There are plenty of washers and dryers to use so you don’t go home with dirty clothes , laundry soap is provided There is a pier and restaurant behind the property , nothing special , typical pier food Drinks were watered down Not part of the resort Definitely our favorite Bluegreen Resort No pressure to attend a review Asked once , politely said no and never bothered again

I was pleasantly surprised, nice enough room We stayed in the Sailfish Building in an oceanfront suite It was smaller than I expected but after reading some reviews I was concerned

I was pleased with the room It seemed to have been updated No stains New bathroom, very clean Balcony was small, but big enough fir 3 of us The beds were comfortable The bldg had one elevator but no issues waiting The parking g was a little tight in the garage, but I mostly parked in another area Breakfast was buffet and great I would come back

Charleen Klecak

Stayed the first week of August Originally I had no idea that my group was staying at the Dunes, which if I would’ve known we wouldn’t of paid so much to stay there I figured we were staying in a hotel, not motel feeling

It was too late to cancel when I realized, so we bit the bullet and kept the reservationUpon arriving, guest service was great! We got our room quickly and had our keys attached as a bracelet! Which, was awesome!! The pool for the Dunes is small, but not as crowded as the other pools The other pools at the resort, we’re super small and crowded Which, expected but being such a small area figured the pool would be a bit biggerNo free breakfast, which I would’ve loved Considering the price of the room Housekeeping was great, they would knock every morning and they were very prompt with delivering towelsThe room itself was okay The lighting was bad, the bathroom had no vents, and the bed itself was a bit uncomfortable Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again for the price but it was tolerable

Katie Vanderhoek

I’m giving this an okay stay … with the price of the room we were expecting a nicer looking room For our 5 night stay we did not get any service except for one day which they only gave us towels and took out the trash With two kids eating in the room it got very dirty

The carpet was super old and wrinkly Then the couches and chairs were very old and dirty The sheets were clean, so that was the good part Not to mention if you are cooking the smoke alarm will go off The good parts were the pools but got very dirty at the end of day They did clean the pools every morning And The staff was friendly We just wanted cleaner updated room with the price we were paying Recommend looking someplace else that cares more about their property

Sallie Crossley

This place was super nice The condo was clean and everything was in working condition The washer and dryer worked great

The mattresses were very comfortable But most of all, the attendants were super friendly and helpful They were very attentive to making our stay the best it could be The people gathering the trash, bringing new towels were always friendly and kind I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to friends and family

Makeda Wells

Best hotel experience I’ve had yet We were able to check in early and room was super clean with a well stocked kitchen Super family friendly with easy access to the beach

Pools, hot tub and lazy river were all great and super clean Love the bar by the pool but wish it was open more hours The only “issue” was the parking We had to park across the street in the overflow parking most days It was Memorial Day weekend though so that may not be an issue normally Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in myrtle beach!!

Sally Dougherty

We are snow birds and have been at Paradise for a month This resort has nicely decorated rooms, it’s clean with lots of indoor parking The pools and hot tubs are maintained well at the perfect temperatures

The beachfront is huge and kept clean by the parks dept, and we see police patrol routinely on the beach Housekeeping is very good My only complaint is that we have to wear gloves and a mask just to get our to-go morning coffee from the Sandals restaurant in-house The manager “my love” is a bit a over the top with rules that are not state required at this stage of Covid

Karen Curtis

There was something for everyone in my family The kids loved the indoor pool and water park area My husband said that the food he ordered from the restaurant was tasty

The beach access was great I appreciated the spacious rooms and the convenience of the fridge, microwave, dishwasher and mini stoveThe mini driveway for valet was always tight It was easier for us to park across the street at the parking garage

Renee Harrison

Friendly staff, large comfortable & clean room, great ocean view Elevators slow during peak of checkout & need to be synced more efficiently Water park a hit with kids

Rooms are not cleaned unless stay is 5+ days; have to request & pick-up clean towels @ desk I fully understand during covid, but if a guest requests a daily cleaning, especially if Honors member, the service should be provided A touch more of a deep cleaning & attention to details would have scored a 5

Emilie Adams

Homewood Suites was great, and we would stay there again The location and amenities could not be beat My husband and I and our 5 and 7 year old boys had a blast

2 water slides, a lazy river, 3 hot tubs and a pool made up the water park, and beach access was so close! The complimentary breakfast was delicious Our king suite was spacious and comfortable The only things I would change would be to add a dresser in the king bed part of the room (there were was one where our boys slept on the sleeper sofa, but not by our bed) and to put up shower doors instead of a curtain in the bathroom More places to hang swimsuits to dry would’ve been nice also Everything else was exceptional

My family and I have stayed at the Marina some 12 times since 2009 I love the location, the beach and the employees are always welcoming The issue I have at this point is the facility itself

I payed some $1500 more this year than last for a day less stay That being said I am aware everything has gone up astronomically However, at this point the Marina is in desperate need of repairs to justify the rates I stayed in a One bedroom full kitchen The Bathroom over the tub is where the air conditioner was and clearly had been leaking for some time The black mold over the area was disturbing I did not make it known to anyone to their defense but it was clearly visible I posted a photo of the mold The shower doors need re corking as leak terribly The kitchen was devoid of any usable knives and what was there was useless There was supposed to be room service every 3 days I inquired on day 5 and finally did get my room cleaned We stayed 9 days, room was cleaned onceWe did get towels each time we calledThe beach: The beach chairs are also in desperate need of replacement They have been well used The main feature of this resort is the ability to go to the beach and the chairs and umbrellas are present and ready I didn’t appreciate how many of the guests from the resort next door were constantly at the Marina site but that is difficult to prevent I imagine I know they have to pay for the chairs separately there However, I did not appreciate one instance where my daughter and I had to move as we were literally surrounded by a family reunion of no less than 25 visitors from the resort next door Lovely people but was a bit muchI hope to continue my visits to Myrtle and especially to the Marina as we as a family have many fond memories I enjoy now taking my children with their spouses as our family grows I hope that the facility is just kept up, it was beautiful onceThank you

Brian Moyer

Really nice atmosphere! Marina view is great! Definitely one of the nicest hotels in Myrtle and it is close to everything The beds are incredibly comfortable The service is amazing also! The downside is that the rooms need a bit of updating: peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, a shower that leaks out onto the floor, small things like that prevent the 5 star review

All that being said, I would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to be a guest there again

ranjith kumar

We had reservation for 2 bed suite for 3 night stay While the rooms were spacious, they definitely need maintenance on lot of things Room had odd smell when we walked in

Bed rooms doors were stuck and didn’t close all the way easily or open When Called for maintenance no body showed up, called twice still no show Restroom flush tank kept making refilling noise seems like there was leak and was disturbing all night Indoor pool had spider webs and spiders in the pool Broken sauna room Over all not a great experience For 4-star hotel and the prices charged I think they need to do better maintenance We had to Check out early for these inconvenienceOne thing positive is, food was great and the staff serving the food at the pool and pool staff were friendly I would have chosen different option if known

It’s older rooms but they are nice and ocean front

we paid only 14400 for 2 nights price is good, even has a stove and full size refrigerator and of course a microwave The only thing is whatever they clean the rooms with, it smelt good when I walked in because it was fresh and clean but the smell is like it’s in the air unit so it started messing with my allergies so had to turn the air off unless it was needed but weather was great so we just opened the door plus who comes to the beach to stay in a room the whole time?? Not me overall it was a nice place to stay and staff was very friendly and GREAT BEACH ACCESS and right on the strip

Erin Altinbasak

My mom booked this room for us because the reviews were pretty good The lady behind the desk was very kind, but the room smell was so bad If you have allergies and asthma, steer clear! The second we walked in, it reeked of cigarettes, mildew, and mold

Both of us were coughing and wheezing and had to use my rescue inhaler Thankfully, the woman at the desk was very kind and understand and apologized for what had happened and offered us a full refund, but I’ve never been to a hotel or motel with such poor air quality I felt like I was suffocating It took me hours to breathe normally again! Again, do not stay here if you have allergies/asthma This place needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt

Marty Stogner

The room was OK; it had only the bare necessities It smelled funny (bring the febreze); but no bugs and everything worked Porch was nice with a great view, very quiet and private

Parking mostly was no problem The whole staff was very hospitable and helpful Traffic was pretty bad being Memorial Day; bike week; and limited access to ocean BLV It was great for a getaway weekend for two; but when the whole family comes with me, I want a better place

The office closed just as we arrived when on website they normally closed at 10:30pm but it was full with us having a room for next three days Room was good size and had all you needed but stove needed one new eye Hot tub didn’t make bubbles but still warm and pool was warm too which good for time of year

Beautiful view oceanfront side and beach area great

Kerstin Ketchem

Filthy, dirty, nasty, disgusting A great place to go if you want extra roommates in your condo with you

I call them roaches instead of roommates though The front desk hardly ever had anyone thereconstantly closed early due to “staffing issues” per the sign posted on the door My family has been going here for 30 years and I’m sad to say after this last visit that I hope they burn the place down in September when the timeshare is up A good burning down will get rid of the bug infestation

Kerly

The Schooner is located directly on the ocean I stayed in a one bedroom/queen bed, one full bathroom with a separate smaller room with bunk beds along with a single rod to hang a few clothes There’s a small 4 burner stove, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, pots and pans and service for 6

It’s an older building, but it’s clean, spacious with an outdoor heated pool/kiddie pool, lots of chaise lounge chairs and tables and chairs

What a great makeover This Four Points Sheraton has been upgraded from its previous brand The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are very nice

Great selection of drinks and food at the bar Location is convenient and view of the Waterway is nice from your balcony If you are in town for business or vacation and don’t care about looking at the ocean, this is your choice Don’t pass this hidden gem up

Jill Kane

The place was alright

Beds were comfortable, shower & water pressure were great the lobby area is enormous Good, basic property in an area that’s surrounded by abandoned businesses that the city seems to be trying to revitalize (including this hotel itself, which was renovated in the last few years) Pricing was fair Good pick if you’re not looking for extra amenities Took advantage of an early check-in for booking direct through Marriott

Lee Cohen

The room was reasonably clean I got there and the sliding bathroom doors fell off the hinges and the air conditioner didn’t work Maintenance was there in moments and he was great

He got the door back on and manually lowered the air for us He had to go to the store to buy batteries In trying to finish with us, the front desk started waving him down from far down the hall, pulling him away from us I found that kind of rude by the front desk The body soap was also empty in the shower The rest of the service was great here The dude who checked me in was funny and personable The last thing that irked me was that the side doors didn’t look That’s not great for security, especially nowadays All in all the place was ok

Island Vista exceeded my expectations!! I can not stress enough how friendly the entire staff was; from the moment we checked in we felt like we were coming home We received a gift bag as a gift when we check in and a gift certificate to use in the resort The pools and hot tubs had so much space and options that multiple families can enjoy them without feeling too crowded! We added another day to our stay and invited a friend over… Island Vista was more than accommodating

Our decision to extend our stay came at a spur of the moment and the staff were so understanding; we were even able to keep our room The rooms are immaculate and polished to perfection There are multiple elevators and easy access to parking garages! They have fire pits near the pools where you can enjoy live music and beach views Beach access is as easy as walking out of the lobby and through the pool/fire pit area We stayed in the ocean front room with two queen beds and a full kitchen; it was at an unbeatable rate compared to the other hotels with less amenities and more cost We will be coming back every time we visit Myrtle! 10/10

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itI had the most AMAZING morning having breakfast at The Cypress Room located inside of Island Vista resort! I highly recommend the veggie omelette with cheese and salsa and Lesa as your server I have been coming to this restaurant since 2014 during the on and off season I consistently receive stellar service there!

Drew Dindl

If there were half star ratings, I would give this resort 45 stars We loved our stay

The staff was wonderful and so helpful! The location was perfect The beach, pool, and hot tub were never crowded The only negative we had for our stay was the furniture and the beds They were very uncomfortable for the money we had spent I do not think this is the resort’s fault because it was a privately owned room Overall, a great resort that I definitely recommend!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! We booked at last minute for an event so hotel pickings were slim Many reviews claimed this hotel as clean and they were (Thankfully) right! Not much to look at from the outside, which was deceiving

since our rooms looked like it was recently remodeled and beds were comfy Definitely a great value hotel

C Neely

This place was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were newly renovated, staff amazing, views of the beach fantastic, beautiful lobby, great drinks, and lovely pool area!! The most amazing person on their staff is Gevanni (I’m sure I misspelled) He found out from my husband that it was my birthday and surprised me with a birthday waffle with delicious fresh strawberries and whipped cream! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but it is what’s on the inside that counts! The hotel is away from the busy boardwalk area and less crowded beach area This place is a MUST stay!!

Jessica Malone

The staff was all very friendly, and the accommodations were perfect The location is close enough to quickly drive to enjoy everything MB has to offer, but away from the crowds and noise of the boardwalk Only thing that could be better would be breakfast buffet or more food available during the day

But we had a great time and would strongly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway 👍

My wife and I came to Myrtle Beach (with reservations at Dunes Village) for a couples 4 day weekend We had never stayed here before and booked after viewing the website noting the 2 AMAZING Indoor Water Parks This was important secondary to time of year

We were aware the parks are geared towards children however we were not impressed that neither of the water parks included a full size swimming pool None of the indoor amenities were over 3ft Obviously there were a lot of kids having a great time but nothing for adults There was a few hot tubs however these stayed packed with young children as well Both my wife and I were disappointed that there was no place to swim, however we still had the room Room was clean, however seemed dated Not sure what cable provider they use but there weren’t many working channels No worries though we entertained ourselves and had a fantastic time Breakfast was great and price was compatible to other venues Overall a great weekend but wouldn’t recommend it to other couples during off season

Anjelica Johnson

The room and view were absolutely beautiful, especially for the price off season We got the deluxe king suite with ocean front view I’ve noticed a lot of people complained about things being outdated but for a hotel I think furniture and appliances were up to par

The mattresses are not the most comfortableI absolutely love that there is a coffee shop in the resort, that was a huge plus for me, although they close at 12 during weekdaysThe indoor water park is played up a bit, it’s not as big as it seems to be on the website This resort is very family friendly As a young couple this is bittersweet There’s never a time when the pools/hot tubs aren’t full of kids, even later in the evening This was the only let down of our stay here For a resort so large really wish there were more hot tubs/ adult friendly sections Never really had a chance to relax in the hot tubs or lazy River Keep in mind this is off seasonOverall, happy with our stay Staff is friendly, room is great! Would have liked to be able to enjoy the amenities, but still feel for the price it was nice

Heartbreak and Motor Jive

I can’t praise the staff enough I literally watched and studied them my whole stay Every interaction I had with any of the staff was always pleasant

The rooms are exactly what you would expect from a well worn but well kept up facility The views are amazing We stayed in an angle suite which had a beautiful view of the beach The first night our AC quit working The next morning it was fixed within an hour of letting them know Again can’t speak highly enough of the service The pools are nice and built for all ages to safely have fun in and out of the sun Multiple clean and safe ways to access the beach The resort is located in a nice part of town with quick access to lots of activities Also I would like to mention how nice, clean, and well lit the parking garage is with security Check in was quick and easy Very thankful to each and every employee @ the dunes resort

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Sheila went above and beyond to accommodate my travel plans My flight arrived after the posted front desk hours, but she stayed late in order to check me in When I checked out, she also offered to hold my luggage in the lobby so I could enjoy my last day unencumbered by my luggage since my flight didn’t depart until much later in the evening

Sheila also lent me a beach umbrella and a cooler during my stay, which was a huge help as I traveled very light Another employee, Trish, even lent me a book to read on the beach after I finished mine on the first day These little touches made a huge difference in making my last minute vacation comfortable and enjoyable The customer service I received here was unmatched! Totally recommend supporting this small business— they really treat you like familyBeach access is only a couple hundred feet across the street which is super convenient, and the kitchenette in the rooms is a huge money saver if you choose to make breakfasts and lunches in your roomPro tip: the fourth floor rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean!

Rachel

Stayed for a week at an efficiency room and loved it Room was a little outdated but very clean and beds were comfortable I also saw the pool get cleaned every morning before it opened which was wonderful

Only minor issue was that they did not have a washer and dryer available to use but other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay I definitely recommend the Darlington Inn!

Mimi Smiley

I stayed the entire month of February at The Darlington Hotel and wish I could leave 10 stars Sheila, Jeff and Tricia treated me like family The hotel itself was very clean and safe

I had an efficiency with stove and full size refrigerator and all the items I would need to make a meal My ocean view was beautiful and I was able to bring my best friend Tilly my 4 lb poodleGreat place and I highly recommend!!

The management and staff were great, appropriate discounts applied, really efficient If they oxidized the hotel and removed the terrible 🚬 smell it would have been 10 better Had to sleep with our door open from the balcony to keep fresh air circulating in

Bathroom walls had some grit or sand on them A few minor inconveniences, but we stayed there for two days If it were terrible we would have left The price was good convenient location Down stairs parking🤪🥶🤯🤒😱

Was a good budgeted vacation for us We had a good time, only stayed one night but worth it Rooms were ok for what you paid for

WATCH OUT FOR THE COFFEE MAKER Looked inside ours and it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned out in a few weeks I think the mold family had it’s own area code on that one Bathroom was cleaned pretty good The little kitchenette wasn’t too bad Really didn’t use the oven but it did work, I checked it Fridge kept everything cold Beds weren’t bad, our room was on the third floor right over the pool Had it’s own private way to get to the beach All in all wasn’t too bad There were people in the office around the clock as well It isn’t a high classed hotel but if your looking to have a budgeted family trip then i say go for it Yea there is allot of things that could be better when it comes to staying in a hotel room but it’s the memories and fun you have with your loved ones that makes it really count I love seeing my family have fun

Motel was not in the best condition First time staying here since 2008 or 2009 First thing of notice was the old musty smell

Walls and ceiling had cracks and holes Microwave was dirty The burners on the stove were not level Did not offer to change sheets in our 5 night stay Management and staff was friendly and did provide towels and wash cloths when needed Just need some upgrades and repairs Will consider staying there again if improvements are made Consider painting the interior and replacing the old carpets and have your room cleaners do a more thorough cleaning

Where do I begin Let’s start off with the way you get from the parking garage over to the building What a mess

If you’re on floor 5 and up you have to walk from parking garage all the way across the 4th floor to get on the elevator It’s a pain Next, I booked a king suite What did I get? I got a queen suite so I call guest services and the lady was rude and told me that those corner units aren’t kings She didn’t seem interested in helping correct the problem on their part and basically hung up on me! I didn’t get the room I paid to spend a week in This next one is my fault for not checking I was disappointed the hotel was not directly on the beach I just assumed an oceanfront suite had direct beach access A little misleading Had I known this, I would have went somewhere else Only one elevator works for 18 floorsThe unit is nice and clean and everything works properly so that’s about the only positive I have If you don’t mind elevator tag, room mix ups and walking to the beach this may be for you

Kevin Wohl

Unit 908 was overall really quite nice , excepting the small ( NOT Queen !! ) sized bed and bedroom blinds that didn’t work properly The Missus didn’t care for the tiny bedside table on her side

But it’s a spacious, comfortable, updated and overall clean unit with an excellent kitchen with good cooking and eating utensils We made good use of those as we prefer preparing most meals ( I’m a former Restauranteur ) Having 15 baths is a plus Living room was also spacious and comfortable Very large balcony with table and chairs for dining was nice ; ocean and sunset viewsBut the almost total lack of staff on sight and NO one answering the phone OR returning calls and voice message was a huge downer and super frustrating Why have your recorded message stating to leave a message and “ we will return your call “??Never got even ONE return call from 5 messages left The towels and pillows were awful ; I’d asked in advance for extra and was assured they would be in the unit Nope! And no one to assist !! There is no ‘ convenience’ store for basic needed items or snacks , sodas , etc Not even a vending machine We always are prepared and pack all we might need on these vacations but forget a couple things we needed Had to drive to get them …The restaurant was open on day of arrival but closed the rest of our stay There is only one hot tub and the pools are geared for kids basically A lazy River , a kiddie pool and a regular pool , unsuitable for swimming laps The area was kept clean though As others mentioned, only one elevator and screeching noise almost continuously from the elevator and other construction crewsWhile we prefer and have always previously stated elsewhere in oceanfront condos at other resorts / hotels , we opted to try this place Not a total disappointment; we always find ways to make the best of any situation The beach was fabulous;,we had good weather and prefer this more residential part of Myrtle Beach If not for the lack of goods and services, we’d overlook having an ocean view , rather than ocean front and stay in this unit again ( the bed needs to be updated tho )What a shame ; we’d been hoping that Forest Dunes would’ve been the place we return to over and over again Already booked an ocean front one bedroom condo nearby for our Fall trip Hopefully we will book our next Spring trip there as well

Jenny R

So disappointed in Forest Dunes We used to vacation here for the past 20 years, and man, has this hotel gone down in quality! Yet the price is higher than ever before! We paid $1700+ for ocean front 1bd king size, for 3 nights We figured, we would pay it as we had fond memories in the past…

But boy what a waste of money The room was full of dust and stains allOver the carpet The king was definitely a queen and not King All the furniture looked like it had water damage, as if our particular room had been flooded and they just opened the windows and everything was left to air dry On top of that the ocean view was not able to be enjoyed as the windows all had streaks all over as if bleach had been splashed on all the glass but never wiped down The building only has one working elevator The lazy pool only had 3 floats for everyone to share- what a joke!Back then, this was considered the elegant side of Myrtle beach but sadly it has changed so much I try to understand COVID has impacted a lot of the world but geez I should’ve stayed in a motel 6 for the quality of the room, and paid soooo much less

Recently visited The Strand on an overnight trip to Myrtle BeachMy family and I had a blast The lobby was super clean and had every facility a person could ask for

In fact, with their hot tub, swimming pool, beach front location, work out facilities, and dining amenities, it would be pretty easy to have an enjoyable vacation without leaving the property The breakfast featured scrambled eggs, sausage, awesome home fries, and great biscuits and gravy I mean they were better than my grandmas (though I’d never tell her)Our room was spacious and balcony features seating and a table for long sits with ocean view We also appreciated the waterproof bracelet keys that allowed easy access to rooms and facilities without keeping track of key cardsWe arrived a little before our room was ready but were allowed to use the parking deck and pool while our room was prepared In the meantime, desk clerk James was professional and had such a cheerful and jovial energy that it felt more like interacting with an old friendWe had a slight problem with our room that hotel manager Chris Styles also fixed in record speed, leaving us beyond satisfied with our stayOn my next trip to Myrtle Beach, The Strand will most definitely be my first choice The accommodations, the amenities, and superb staff all give the hotel resort incredible value for the money

Sophia Amaker

Great value for the price Rooms are clean and efficient, although bathrooms could use a little updating I have stayed at The Strand 3 times and breakfast is always nice compared to other hotels/resorts that I’ve visited

Although I wish there was an indoor pool, the outdoor pool is always clean and the hot tub is nice as well Overall, the staff are really friendly Front desk can be a little more welcoming but they aren’t rude so it’s not a big deal Last, but not least, the location is great as it’s only about a mile from Broadway at the Beach I would definitely stay there again

Marion Hartridge

I had such a marvelous time The room was fantastic and the service was great I had a balcony on the beach front view

Oh my God to see the waves each morning and walk on the beach was such a beautiful experience They gave a restaurant in the lobby The burgers were awesome and the homemade potato chips were unbelievable delicious I can not remember the waitress or the cook’s name but they were so kind and friendly They made you feel do welcome and at home Thanks to you both for your kind hearts and delicious food And let me not forget the awesome breakfast Fantastic and filling

Our family of 4 rented an oceanfront room Our balcony was very nice Perfect views of the ocean

Our room and bathroom was very clean Our only complaint is that our bathroom door would not close completely The kitchen area was excellent It was excellent that pots/pans, silverware, plates and glass cups were available for use Housekeeping was available and very willing to bring us any extra towels, etc front desk staff were always nice and knowledgeable

Elizabeth Naile

Location was perfect The pools and entertainment was fun for all ages The staff was extremely friendly

The bar and restaurant had great food and fun drinks The bartenders made you feel taken care of Only negative was The rooms really need attention Not the cleanest, needed repairs and newer furniture/ appliances Good size, beautiful view though

Marissa Smallwood

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our, very much needed, weekend get away Great location, last minute pricing not too bad, friendly staff, easy check in/out, comfy beds and pillows, discounted tickets You can expect to see staff cleaning around the resort, often

Whatever they use to clean the lobby smells so good Housekeeping came around daily to replenish towels and remove trash Pictures online were comparable to the actual room and resort Room could use some updating (appliances and ac) and vents cleaned but truly didn’t effect our overall stay They do offer free parking across the street in lots and garage Spaces in garage felt a little tight Pool area was a big hit for our family, especially the water slide, although the kids were bummed that more than 1/2 our last day there, the slide was down They do provide towels at the pool, but they had a weird smell Our ac sounded like an airplane taking off every so often, our toilet ran if we didn’t play with the handle, and the oceanfront elevators were slow, but they did their job We can’t wait to come back for a follow up visit We’ll definitely recommend Ocean Reef to friends and family

Absolutely amazing! Customer service was top notch Room was comfortable, very clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view with amazing wall sized windows Concierge, from desk associates, management, restaurant staff, and bartenders were all amazing

We felt very safe staying here as well due to how elevators and different floors are accessed Literally the only issue we had was that my husband’s side of the bed seemed to have something wrong with it 10/10 would recommend!

Don’t forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedOur room was clean and me and my husband enjoyed our stay at the hotel! Cameron was able to take really good care of us after learning we had such a bad experience at one of the oceanfront hotels We were treated to a wonderful breakfast So, we were very blessed to be able to stay there for the remainder of our honeymoon!

Belvin Christopher

Requested an ocean view room and got one in the 9th floor The room was pretty nice with 2 queen beds for a family of 4 Loved their beds and shower head

Beds were so comfortable and soothing Shower had enough pressure to massage your back after a tiring day House keeping and service were excellent as well The mini fridge in the room was in poor condition It was usable but looked old and not so clean Corridors smelled funny; mostly cigars and flavored smokes Parking lot was little lonely Overall the place is good and lives up to the expectations Worth the money

Gorgeous resort Not as fancy as you would expect, but really damn nice modern rooms We had an ocean view room

The view was amazing any time of the day Only slight issue for me was the loud music until around 11pm Still, with the door closed and the TV on the sound wasn’t an issue This is definitely worth the money With all the pools, access right to the beach definitely worth it

Stefanie Fuller

Super friendly staff The gentleman at the Cafe each morning was simply the best Also, we got ice cream one night just before close and the attendant there was awesome! You can tell they care about their product and service and take pride in what they do

from the cleaning folks to the front desk and service staff We will definitely be back!Guest access to the beach from the patio was a wonderful perk

What an amazing resort! Staff was so friendly and helpful There is something to do for the whole family We have 3 small children and we felt safe the whole trip

We will definitely be back in the near futurePS: Yes, you can smell weed while you are outside That has nothing to do with this resort That is every resort in Myrtle Beach

This Hampton Inn must have been an older hotel that was refurbished as a Hampton inn ( can tell by the styling) The lobby rooms are nicely decorated with the seacoast in mind There are several rooms that you can sit and relax along with outdoor seating protected by the sun

The room is clean and the view from the balcony is exquisiteMost of all is a shout out to all the folks working at this Hampton Inn Everyone is so friendly and I especially want to thank Kelli, the guest service manager, who overheard me saying that I miss the fruit salad at breakfast ( guess Hampton inn stopped that) and then arranged to have a plate of cut up fresh fruit for me Fruit that they didn’t have at breakfastWas that not nice? I was thrilled and so appreciate the extra effort Kelli and folks made to make my stay specialI would highly recommend this Hampton Inn for Myrtle Beach and if I come down again, will plan to stay hereSincerely,Cindy

Awesome clean hotel room Front desk staff was super friendly and nice I wish I researched that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant before I booked

The hotel shuttle is great and the drivers were awesome! However they only take you in a 3 mile radius I wish I knew restaurants were a bit further Definitely not a fault of the hotel! We ubered to Broadway at the beach and had a good experience there Airport was super close by I thought we could have walked to the Boardwalk but just didn’t feel “safe” Again the shuttle takes you there with no problems Overall a fun quick get away but not sure we will be back Breakfast was a great addition to our stay!!!!

Barbara Stump

Pros: Great location right on the beach with all rooms overlooking the ocean The view from the balcony was stunning This hotel is close to lots of things, including restaurants and shopping

Never felt like the beach area was crowded, even though the hotel was busy Free covered parking Loved that there were enough beds for all 5 of us and they were actually comfortable Full closets in bedrooms Bathroom had both a full tub and a stand-up shower The full kitchen and big table were nice The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful We got early check-in with no issuesCons: Lots of noise from people playing loud music at all hours of the day and night The pools were in constant use and looked pretty gross Room was kind of outdated with old fixtures, carpet, etc Long lines/waits at the elevator Breakfast was mostly the same every day – would have preferred more healthy options than just apples and bananas

Best family vacation we have had!!! Amazing stay – wife, 3 kids, and our dog all loved it Right on the beach, nice pools, attached parking, free breakfast, and spacious accommodations! The employees we encountered were nice and the app comes in handy if you need extra towels or anything – they are very quick to respond View in picture is from the 16th floor

Wish i took more pictures of the room to post I would highly recommend and would stay again

Can you say VACATION!!!! Stayed here Memorial Day week 2022 Our room was nice with an ocean front view Easy access to the beach …

just a short walk from our room The free parking and amazing free breakfast with lots to choose from was amazing Staff from check in to check out, housekeeping, concierge services, and all others were friendly and professional and always smiling Our fur babies were welcomed with open arms and made new friends It was close to several attractions, various restaurants and shops We have already planned to go back ……would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

Paolo Peralta

Overall, enjoyed our 3 night stay Good location, although there aren’t a lot of quality restaurants to walk to Good breakfast – come early or late to avoid the rush

Elevators are busy during this time too Our room was clean Ocean front view had heavy sturdy balcony door; which we appreciated Know that there is a room difference when booking Ocean Front view vs Partial Ocean view Front desk staff that we engaged on day and evening shifts were pleasant but not too customer oriented Cleaning, pool, and breakfast staff were very friendly The pool is great Heated and large There’s a splash pad for the little ones Only thing is if it’s a windy day, the pool area acts as a wind tunnel This location is pet friendly, so of course there are dogs at every turn something to know about if you’re allergic to furry pets or not into being around them Garage parking is an annoyance due to the tight spacing & turns, but nothing an experienced driver can’t handle Enjoyed our time here, but would not stay again for personal reasons I would still recommend the hotel to others
