Hotel room is huge! Nice warm pool and huge hot tub! Adults only in pool from 10pm-12am! I’ve never heard of a pool being open so late! There is a secret passage way to a bar/restaurant off the second floor There are arcade games, pool, darts, ax throwing (to come), and a bowling alley! Couldn’t ask for much more to keep the teens entertained

chelsey carroll

We stayed there last Saturday for my daughters birthday When we arrived we were told the water slide was out of order ( one of the reasons we decided to stay there) Then we tried to go bowling and there was bowling tournaments going on all day

So we decided to go to the arcade and eat dinner No food available and only a few games worked I booked this stay in advance and was never sent an email or anything stating these issues It was really fun having to disappoint a group of kids that were looking forward to the things that the hotel was said to offer Please update your website to show accurate accommodations

Krystal Tranby

We really enjoyed our stay while here for Back to the Fifties The reason I give 2 stars for service has nothing to do with the staff All staff was friendly but they no longer clean the rooms which is apparently because of COVID but this means you have to go to the front desk for garbage bags, clean towels etc

Also the waterslide was out of order while we were there but they do have that stated clearly on the website The attached restaurant had good food but was dealing with staffing issues Several members of our party enjoyed the bowling alley one evening It was reasonably priced and they could bowl all they wanted until 10:00PM We will try them again for Btt50s next year and I will update my review at that time!

Stayed for 3 days, and each day was great :)! The bed was comfortable, and the AC in our room was perfect We could change it to 78° or 64° in no time! The shower pressure was lovely, and the showerhead was quite tall My partner is a tall guy, so the height was perfect

The breakfast was okay, but I don’t mind that too much The location is perfect too! You’re in the middle of everything you need

Jesselynne Thornton

I only stayed for a day, but it was a great stay! The hotel staff were nice, and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in, so that was nice The room that I stayed in was spacious and very clean, as well If I had to critique something it would be that, some of the property seems to be undergoing renovations, so both of their pools were closed and some areas of the hotel were blocked off, but other than that great stay! I’d definitely recommend! 👍🏾

I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews because doing so feels like a detriment to my fellow man But in this case, to not write an honest review (could I give 0 stars?) would be to dismiss my duty to my fellow man to spare them this experienceFrist off, the atmosphere of the hotel is that of scraped walls in the hallway with loud and liquor scented guests

(That’s no exaggeration) Inside the room, all the normal features appear to be functional But what do we all really care about? The bed and the pillowsFirst off, the 5 pillows were square shaped (What is this a couch?) and devoid of either fluff or cleanliness We found several eye lashes on the casesPeeling back the now off white sheets showed us several long hairs, not our own And the smell from them was not that of freshly washed It didn’t smell used, but it also didn’t not smell used eitherWe arrived at 1am on a Thursday and within 5 minutes had made our way downstairs for a full refund Thankfully, they did do us that grace by giving us back our $155 for a Thursday night stay I may have considered staying if they had offered to pay me $155, but I likely wouldn’t have been the first one through those doors to make some cash on their sheets

Nice hotel That staff was friendly and welcoming Bartender for the evening reception is great

Guy that made my omelette in the morning was wonderful Make sure you tip those people when you’re staying here My only complaint is it’s starting to show it’s age Needs a little TLC and updating in the rooms Room was pretty clean, could have been better though If I’m in the area for the right price I would stay here again

Yanicey Hermandez

They charged my account $75 for a registered service animal that has documentation They violated the ADA, American disability Act They say they don’t see the difference between a pet and a service animal

I reported them to Hilton and will report them with the Agency They can’t make there own rules as they go along They claim they charge the fee for cleaning Just to give you some insight, the room they initially gave us was smelly and disgusting The second room where we ended up staying was dirty, we ended up doing a thorough clean and disinfect Shower was grotesque, both phones did not work, only 1 remote for 2 tvs in different areas We stayed 6 full days and housekeeping NEVER cleaned our room It’s funny to me that they want to charge a fee when we dealt with all these things, truly ridiculous They must be really hard up for money if they are discriminating against people with disabilities and disregarding the law

Doug Dawson

I was really disappointed in this location Front desk customer service was just not there No smiles

First night, the woman behind the counter was on her phone and didn’t acknowledge me when I was looking for the convenience shop When I showed up another day, a different woman was on a smoke break out front and I had to wait We checked out early because of all the box elder bugs in our room The room was not in great shape either There was a lot of wear and tear Terrible experience for the price

I am not sure what all the other bad ratings are about, We loved our stay! We checked into this hotel without a reservation, because another hotel in the area that we had checked into earlier in the day was absolutely horrendous and we just couldn’t stay there From the first moment of stepping into the lobby, it looks great It’s a new hotel, and you can tell

The checkin was easy, our room was clean and comfortable! The bathroom was clean and had a beautiful sink and shower, and it had great lighting to put makeup on The carpet in the room was clean Carpet in hotels are always so gross to me, but this was the first hotel I felt like I could walk around the room barefootThe coffee and continental breakfast in the morning was a perfect end to our stayI would recommend this hotel!

Walter Schroder

This is a newer property and it wasn’t bad I think my biggest disappointment was the quality of the workmanship in the room The shower handle wasn’t properly mounted in the bathroom, the trim work and wallpaper work was a bit shoddy

I used one of my suite night upgrades and the room that I got really wasn’t much of an upgrade There was a small chair in the corner There was no sofa or coffee table and really wasn’t any place to just sit and relax in the room The hotel staff said that there was a hot buffet for breakfast in the morning which is rather misleading It was nothing more than microwave breakfast sandwiches and eggs

Alicia McDonough

Are you a person who loves good Tik Tok lighting? This is the stop for you I couldn’t get over the lighting in the bathroom! Mind you, I’m an older millennial… I don’t Tik Tok, But I know a good number of your potential future guess probably do We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was, the shower was tiled very nicely with a nice chevron pattern

NETFLIX?!!! Obviously you need your own account, but the access was perfect for a rowdy toddler The breakfast the next morning was amazing… you could tell that they actually put some effort into their scrambled eggs I didn’t need to use salt or pepper They also had packaged breakfast sandwiches already made… Also the waffle maker… Probably my favorite hotel breakfast that I have come across I mean, I’ve never stayed at the Waldorf Astoria or anything like that… But I sure felt like it at this place Definitely our go to place, Since we moved up by Canada, and come down to the cities here and there The only thing was annoying was that this actual hotel doesn’t show up on the main website… So I had to booked through Expedia Great spot!

The lobby is nice, everything is clean Bed was comfy Maintenance was good

Hot breakfast and pool good I gave it three stars because the bathroom was so small you can’t even close the door while you’re sitting on the toilet The depth of the bathroom is the width of the tub Should be just a shower if that’s all the space they had Also explains why their website shows no bathroom pics None If you don’t mind that, you will like the room

Noah Lemke

Hotel is nice and pool is nice and breakfast is awesome here, This hotel only got 2 stars because of the pool and breakfast! But stayed here back in Jan for the ice castles and the front desk group are unbearable and rude, simply asking about a room rate that was promised to my girlfriend was too much Than her family stays here because they had a fire at there house and just because they asked for towels and the room to be cleaned they get kicked out! I understand the whole Covid thing but seriously that has been over for a while now and it doesn’t give you the right to be rude and threaten to call the cops! I won’t stay here again nor will anyone I know plus my girlfriends family will probably tell everyone not to stay here til a change is made at the desk When will hotels go back to being corporate ran? Cause that’s the only way it needs to be this independent owners don’t care about the people staying at there hotels nor do they care about the service there team is providing!

Shannon McCloskey

We happily got married and when we got to the hotel it wasn’t until 10ish pm at night on our Wedding day When we walked in there were pop can stains on the counters, sticky stains, trash from other people before us underthe couch, and worse of all there was a nasty stain on the top blanket Other than the lack of cleanliness the friendliness of country inn is wonderful and warming

We were so tired and kept going in and out of the room between our house, celebrating, and then back to the hotel so we weren’t in the room all too long I would’ve said something the first night or the next morning when we first came but I was just so worn out from the wedding I didn’t wish to complain Otherwise it was a decent room I just wish it wasn’t so dirty because out of all moments I wish it didn’t happen to us on our special night

Rooms are ok Staff is great Surrounding area is perpetually filled with homeless and random people that blast music and harass pedestrians

We stayed here for a week and the women in our group didn’t feel comfortable walking back alone… and I don’t blame them considering I wouldn’t have felt safe walking alone either, especially dressed in business attire

Ghazanfar “GJ” Abidi

Spacious and clean room King bed was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (laying perpendicular); didn’t even use the sofa bed Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with cutlery and appliances

Thermostat was stuck on 67f, so it got a bit chilly at nightGood location downtown Could walk to most places we were there forThe parking lot to use is the La Salle lot, not Bancorp

Horrible experience Heat went out first night No space heaters and had to wait late into the morning for a fix blowing cold air all night in the middle of winter

Told wrong times on breakfast Then showed up 15 mins before close next morning and said nothing left One staff member in particular was incredibly rude I left 2 stars because they have nice city views from the rooms It’s not worth being there though you’re in one of the more dangerous areas of the city, trust me Plus my dead bolt lock didn’t work on my room They didnt care about any of it and then charged me extra cleaning fees when I didnt even get the check out time advertised I feel like I’ve been scammed and it felt like a dirty cheap motel Marriott should drop this dump from their name I’ve been to dozens of different hotels and this is one of the worst in the city Go to Marriott City Center a few blocks down instead if you really want to be in that area, or if you need the full kitchen go to Marriott TownePlace Suites in North Loop Avoid this place, you’re welcome

I was a participant in a three day seminar at this hotel, and found it exceptional- every member of the staff was accommodating – from maintenance to housekeeping to servers to front desk and more The level of service provided in this era of short staffing was truly remarkable

I had the sense that everyone was “all in” to make our experience great- the food was delicious – every bit of it, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner- the facility is outstanding: comfortable, quiet sleeping rooms with good mattresses, and meeting rooms that are well lit with good climate control

ShaQuana Terry

The hotel stay was nice Toby the front desk manager was very pleasant and made sure my stay was going good especially because it was a stressful check in process! There were two things that made my stay difficult the air conditioning didn’t get very cool in the room and the microwave was by the front desk which made feeding a infant difficult Otherwise, everyone was very nice I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water

Travel Reviews

We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed them The check-in experience was quick and easy The hotel has a large lobby area with a restaurant and a bar

There’s a comfortable seating area in the lobby with a few work stations, a tv/couch area, and a couple of gathering tables The hotel has a second inner area that contains a pool and a hot tubThe hotel is everything you would expect from a front line Sheraton Hotel with an attached Conference Center The staff was excellent and very accommodating as they allowed us to store our bicycles in the office area and cheerfully allowed us to eat in the lobby area with our dogs Bonus: dogs stay free through the end of the summer on a special promotion! Hats off to our morning server Mario who truly went out of his way to make sure that we had an enjoyable stayOur room was clean and for the first time in a few years had normal daily servicing by the staff Another good sign that things are returning to normal after covidNote that this hotel does not have ice machines but they give out free ice in bags in the small concession area next to the check-in deskThis is one of the better hotels I have ever stayed at that allows dogs There are many grassy areas around the hotel to walk them and they have waste receptacle on the left side of the hotel toward the backWe definitely plan to stay here next time we pass through Minneapolis

Staff is AMAZING From the front desk to the shuttle service (not only will they offer you a ride to the clinic – when you need it – they will also take you to a restaurant so you don’t have to drive!) Special shout out to Marquez who noticed the first place he took us was closed – he then drove us to several other places until we found one that worked AND he picked us up – with a fabulous attitude throughout The hotel is absolutely clean and feels safe

I absolutely recommend this hotel

C. Asuncion

If you’re a solo female traveler, I highly recommend this hotel The area feels totally safe and you need an access card to even enter the hotel I noticed that there are cameras on the floor that I stayed in which made me feel even safer

Getting around-wise, it is less than 400 feet away from the tram, which takes you to either Downtown Minneapolis or St Paul and other places around the city I stayed for a World Cup Qualifier match and I took the tram from the hotel to Allianz Field It took approximately 20 min There’s a grocery store nearby too I disliked their breakfast but I didn’t really expect much from it anyway They keep coffee and water out for guests all day Hotel was quiet and staff was very helpful

My wife and I recently stayed at this super hip and fun hotel in downtown Minneapolis The accommodations were great, the atmosphere hip, and the location pretty niceAnd while we were expecting a restaurant on the premises, we were able to find several nearby

The PROS: Cool vibe Nice amenities Super, super nice people I especially enjoyed talking with Paris Khoddami and Lynn Williams, both in the Sales/Marketing department for Moxy Also, the bartenders were superbThe CONS: No on-site restaurant (a pretty big miss, IMHO) And the windows don’t open You know, for “Fresh Air?”Other than that, superb visit

Awesome architecture & design Plenty of public seating space Convenient location right across trader Joe’s & Jimmy John’s Price okay? More deals are welcomed, can keep this hotel booked solid year round Consider offering hotel guests greater parking discount Finally, exceptional MUK shampoo & conditioner

feel like it needs to be said the rooms are nice but why is there a guitar and an amp in my room?? i don’t know how to play a guitar but if someone happenes to come back to their room dunk one night, they might want to try play it which wouldn’t be great for the room next to me as the rooms aren’t very soundproof

Also, the bartenders downstairs don’t know how to mix drinks beyond a simple gin and tonic so be careful just stick to the simple drink requests

Looking for a place to stay, while my husband needed special care at Abbott Northwestern Cardiac Center Only minutes away from the hospital, everything was as Promised Clean, contemporary, and great service! Restaurant was refreshing, and accommodating

And their security measures were not obvious, yet gave me a secure restful night sleep I definitely would recommend staying! I will return under better circumstances!

We had a pretty large group(including the wedding party) choosing to stay at this hotel for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding I did have more than a few bumps along the way with the room block and was a little nervous how the accommodations would be, however about a week before the wedding, Scott the front desk manager got involved and he is wonderful to work with! He made sure everything was on point and taken care of He routinely checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the 4 night stay, and even upgraded the rooms for the Bride and Groom, and for my husband and I

The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful as well! They even knew or son’s dog by name and gave him pets when they saw him! Overall we had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again

Michael Moses

Fairly new hotel, smaller shared spaces with what looks to be a fair amount of conference room rentals Rooms are a couple notches better than a Courtyard, though a couple notches lower than a premium hotel Slightly upgraded features

For a work trip, I’d definitely consider For a personal trip, I’d look to another option in the Marriott groupPro tip: Parking on side street is 2 hr meters that start at 9am For a couple dollars, you can park there overnight until 11am Otherwise, there is a lot (albeit for sale) across the street that is just a few dollars more until the next day

Despite being part of the Marriott Bonvoy program for many years, this the first time I stayed in a hotel of their W brand, and the experience was great Service was excellent during my stay both in the front desk and in the Prohibition Bar The hotel is well-located, close to many eateries and attractions downtown

However, what most impressed me was the Foshay’s design I love hotels that have an extra care with their design elements and, in some of the major chains, it is hard to find something truly distinctive Given the historical nature of the building, there are strong Art Deco elements everywhere However, the interior designers were able to add many modern touches that look both glitzy and historic, while delivering a contemporary touch, especially with the use of multi-colored accent walls Just the right amount of personality — a little more and it would look pretentious The rooms are also very well designed The basic room where I stayed was definitely small (it is an old building, after all) but the use of the right furniture makes it look much more spacious The restroom is very comfortable, and I loved the large rain shower, with the area covered with the same tiles on the walls and on the floor Definitely a place I will return to in a future trip to Minneapolis

I give this 3 stars instead of 5 for this reason My husband and I came to Minneapolis for his Grandmother’s 90th birthday This is my first trip to the city

I booked the hotel over a month ago My husband and I have different last names and sometimes get confused on whose name is under Upon our arrival to the hotel we were greeted rather hastily by the woman at the front desk She asked us our name, and for our ID, right away She then very sticky said she couldn’t find us and in the same sentence asked for our confirmation number As my husband was looking for the reservation she kept repeating herself that we were not in the system As he stated to read the number he red 2 digits and she cut him off and said we didn’t book it with them that wasn’t their confirmation number She then grabbed my husband’s phone and started to scroll through flipped it around shoved it in his face and said that we booked it for the day before and that we were no call no shows I was blind sided Everything was moving so fast and she was now taking to us in such a condescending manner I was getting upset I finally said to her to look it up under my husband’s name She rolled her eyes and did She told me I needed to be better organized Started to rattle off our room number and how to get there and stopped acknowledging me She made me so mad I started to call around to other hotels because I no longer wanted to stay The 3 starts is for the fun and elaborate decor Nothing to do with the staff because we were never greeted or acknowledged in our 4 day stay at $690 total

Lizsandra Edwards

I have never stayed at this hotel but I recently did pay a visit The best part? The observance deck is amazing! We got keys at the front desk so we could access the elevators and we went up to the 30th floor You’ll find a small museum when you exit and then you can take the stairs up which will lead you to an exit where you can go outside and see a beautiful view of the city

It was a great place to take photos We also made our way down to an area where we sat and ordered drinks The main floor had a very cool fire place and live music too! Many things to do in just one building The worst part? Parking is too hard to find and expensive so we ended up doing valet which was a little over $20 total It is also more of a dark, fancy ambient so it won’t be everyone’s vibe Drinks were also about $17-$20 each which may be too expensive for some but we were having a nice evening with a visiting friend so it was worth it for us

There were also X4 sub ports and all 4 of them wouldn’t charge anything Otherwise the beds were comfortable and again location is keyParking is separate and is $17 overnight or $22 through the hotel is you need to go in and outThere is no signage letting you know you can’t get to the hotel from the parking garage elevator This threw us and others for a loop

The physical space is very nice and clean I’m giving a low rating because wifi was difficult to connect to and was not reliable at all Most of the time I had to use my data plan

The front desk didn’t seem to care when I told them about the problem For the expense of staying at this location, I don’t think it unreasonable to expect reliable connectivity and staff that cares about customer service

Stayed here for a convention My room had bugs Woke up with bites in multiple places

The location was convenient with access the convention center The service is exceptional by some employees The hotel restaurant hosts and servers were exceptional A certain bartender who I won’t name needs some etiquette and costumer service training due to her dismissive behavior The manager did remedy the issue quickly

DON’T PAY STANDARD PRICEFirstly, I had quite a big discount and was able to split the cost with a friend If this wasn’t the case I don’t feel this would be worth itThe foyer is extremely nice and fancy

The facilities are goodRoom was old-fashioned but nice Clean bathroom and room in-generalIf you’re receiving anything it’ll cost $7 per parcel which is one thing that wasn’t advertisedAnother was that they take a $600 security deposit until your stay is over They put a hold on your card I believe which gets released a few days afterAll-in-all it was a nice stay but the standard price is extremely expensive for what you get

I came here from NY to bring a friend to his new home and wanted to treat my fiance and I to a nice hotel because why not, walking in it was incredible! The entire building is breathtaking, the vault style door into the wine cellar, and the elegant spiral staircase, everywhere you look there is something unique! After we took a dip into the one of a kind pool and hot tub we decided to have a bite and a few at The Westin bar, Thomas White was more than a bartender or a host he was busy, but was still keeping up with everyone while maintaining conversation with the guests, It truly was an incredible experience!Thank you so much

The hotel overall is up to Westin standards, however, my room had a few issues The toilet seat was disgusting But not how you might think

It had a rough surface and a ton of permanent stains So they probably cleaned it but you couldn’t tell The shower wand didn’t work which was a bummer The toilet was also clogged I only stayed for one might so didn’t bother complaining They do NOT have room serviceThe customer service seems top notch and the hotel has some nice amenities like a restaurant in the lobby I would probably stay here again but probably complain to management about the room next time

Very friendly staff and great and easy check in and out process Room was decent for the price Pillows weren’t the most comfortable and they could have provided more shower supply

Location isn’t the best as it isn’t close to any major points in the city
