Staff was very gracious The room was clean They are working on updating and a new shower was part of this

It was by the river but no view from the room The downside to this hotel, two flights of stairs to get to the room There is a stairwell to the parking area out the back and another stairwell to the front main road The balcony off the room is nice with a view of the river and the mountains but sadly the noise of traffic and throngs of people take away from the beauty and peace This reminded us of Gatlinburg, TN, tourist trap with more incentive to buy items than a getaway to enjoy the area

I don’t understand the positive reviews, it’s almost like we stayed in a different hotel The staff was nice, but that’s almost all the good I can say about this place, and that the location and views are great Other than that, the hotel was old in the worst way possible, as in it looked unkept, forgotten and decayed, it was musty, was and felt dirty, the mattress felt like it was 40 years old and a troll had been sleeping on there for that same amount of time

As soon as we got to our room we immediately wanted to leave, it was so uncomfortableHelen in general was depressing, and I’d advice anyone who asked to stay away from this tourist trap, it was mostly a waste of time and money and hardly enjoyable

This lodge was very nice There was even a separate building where people could have weddings When you walk in the door of the lodge the smell of the place itself was really good

Our room was lovely, large, and very clean! The bed and bedding was so comfortable Annie (the manager), Gail, and Colette all went out of there way to be as informative and helpful as possible The staff made sure we had ice and everything else we needed for our stay The only thing was that we stayed during the week and the tasting room and gift shop wasn’t open while we were there, but maybe next time! Overall it was a beautiful stay with very friendly staff I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here! You won’t be disappointed

I stayed one night a couple of months ago, but didn’t write a review I noticed there were several negative reviews recently I’m going back in a couple of days to stay one night again with my dog

He loves the mountainsI’ve been going to Helen for over forty years and have stayed at this motel many times It has changed hands over the years but I can’t recall ever having a “bad” stay Little things here and there, but always seemed to have it resolvedThe latest stay a couple of months ago was great We had a room on the lower level Upon arrival the check-in process was good with very friendly service and the room had the AC already on so the room was nice and cool It looked like the room had been recently updated with flooring and upgrades in the bathroom The motel is of course older than some of the others, but during my stay it appeared that the staff was really trying to get things in order Everywhere businesses are trying to hire workers which has had an impact on their service But I try not to complain too much if the staff working appear to be trying their bestHopefully our stay in a couple of days will be like our last one

This place is a family vacation dream! It is so cute and clean! It is like a woodsy cabin theme inside It has kitchen and enough beds for the whole family We love the on-site playground and you can even wade in the river

Across the street is a water slide and tubing center There are restaurants within walking distance There are different units above or below you so the sounds of footsteps was the only thing I didn’t like But it’s no big deal There is a beautiful porch overlooking the river so you can relax while having breakfast I will definitely come back when we stay in Helen again

It’s a really beautiful place in Helen Waco every year & stay in the condo its really nice in the condos and the indoor pools and the spa is amazing ” Loreley Resort ,, is amazing i love it there so if you need a place to get a condo timeshare i would check with Loreley Resort you will be impressed with the place if you have kids they have a big playground to go to and they have a outdoor pool indoor pool and the spa you will have the best time and plus your not far from downtown Helen ga 🏘🏞🛶🏕

At first I was a bit disappointed there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker or dish soap, but the lady at the office was very nice and got it taken care of I enjoyed the exercise room and the jacuzzi There was also a nice covered Pavilion by the river that had multiple barbeques

The unit had a loft and there were reclining chairs upstairs and in the living room The unit had a nice cozy feel and we enjoyed our stay

This was first time at this restaurant It had a good atmosphere and seemed very friendly staff That and my server Ashley was very friendly and caring person

Ashley is the big reason they got 4 star I never blame ok or bad food on my server, considering they did not do the cooking That said, I would not recommend the $30 ribeye steak It was not seasoned with favor I had to ask for A1 sauce The other hand it was a good size and meat was tender The drink prices to me were amazing I usually get a Jack and coke Where I’m from can be as high as 8 to 9 dollars a glass Here it was only $6 a glass All in all I myself would go back and try something else And I would recommend them to my friends and family

My wife and I really enjoyed all of the amenities The hot tub was closed for an upgrade, but the pool was very warm and inviting We spent 6 hours in it one day just talking to new friends The trail to the creek is not very long, but it is hilly and worth the trip Can’t wait to go back!Edit: My wife and I went for a second trip in August 2021 for my birthday ( in our birthday suits) We rented one of the park trailers for a couple of days and loved it! The trailers (cabins) are getting a little worn, but they are clean & serviceable Planning on renting a lot for our camper and staying full time What more needs to be said?

That photo is very misleading I drove through on a delivery, past the clubhouse Several homes were hard to recognize from the garbage and junk piled all the way around some locations

I’ve actually delivered to junk yards and commercial dumps that were neater looking than this place I only went across the lower section but the place evidently have no by-laws or home owners association

The only way to describe Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn and their staff is exceptional! Not only is the Inn absolutely breathtaking, the rooms provide every comfort you’d want and their breakfast and evening desserts are top notch! My husband and I loved Lucille’s so much that we booked out the entire Inn for an intimate wedding last December It was the most incredible evening that was filled with so much love and magic! We hired a coordinator to assist throughout the day, but the staff at Lucille’s played a huge part in the perfect execution of our big day as well Alex made us feel so welcome! April helped us plan ahead for so many little details of that weekend! Betty created the most gorgeous floral arrangements! The folks at their spa made us feel like butter at the beginning of the weekend and gave awesome treatments! I am so thankful to this crew and Lucille’s will always be near and dear to our hearts! We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary stay every year

We stayed in the tree top suite and it was absolutely beautiful The room was very clean and The staff was so friendly The grounds were beautiful and the view was amazing Breakfast was delicious My husband booked us a couples massage at the spa which was just outside our room, that too was great While Helen is just a short drive down the road, we enjoyed the peacefulness and relaxed atmosphere of Lucille’s so much that we only left to get dinner and back We will most certainly be back in the fall

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Suite for a weekend getaway The room was on the lower floor and had a door leading right outside to the open yard where you can sit and take in the views The bathroom was very spacious and had a large tub and double shower

The most important aspect of a hotel is a good night’s sleep and you won’t be getting one here Although the staff is lovely, there isn’t much they can do about the horrible beds And they truly are horrible

The air conditioner was also unreasonably loud and the carpeted floors were vaguely gritty and damp in a way that made you not want to walk around barefoot This falls far below what you should expect from a mid-range hotel at this price point Do yourself a favor Don’t stay here

Overall, this location isn’t quite as nice as most The front desk staff were very helpful, friendly, and efficient The pool is small with only four lounge chairs and four upright chairs, which is probably sufficient most of the time The worst part of my stay is that housekeeping staff were talking loudly enough, for an extended timeframe, to disrupt my sleep at 6:30 am There must be a way or a time to get the laundry done without waking up guests

A wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed for one night on our way to North Carolina because we wanted to visit Toccoa Falls The owners were super friendly and did everything they could to make our stay fun and comfortable Our room was comfortable and the entire house was super clean, fun, and comfortable
