The hotel is beautiful especially at night The staff that I came in contact with were friendly and helpful The one bedroom with pull out sofa was super spacious and very clean

I used their gym and was excited that it was updated equipment But make sure you bring your own towel The breakfast was free and very good which saved us a lot of money The free parking was a hit because now hotel charge which is ridiculous I also enjoyed the portraits that were on the first floor which gave a history of the family that started the Ayers Hotel This is definitely a hidden gem in Chino Hills California

Kobi Cordova

It’s clean, comfortable, and safe Check-in was quick and the young lady who helped us was sweet The breakfast was good and the coffee was decent

This hotel is beautiful, relaxing and feels like a resort Absolutely love it! The rooms are comfortable with hardwood floors (a plus for the allergies), plenty of adjustable lighting and the bathroom was a bliss!Wonderful stay 5 minutes from my house Sometimes you need a change of scenery and this hotel provided the rejuvenation I was seeking

Josh A

Modern, attractive hotel rooms Valet, front desk, and housekeeping services were greatThe bars get extremely busy, and the hotel quite crowded

The bartenders were quick to serve some folk, but others were waiting more than 30 minutes to place an order for a drink – even on a Thursday nightIf you’re looking for modern, updated rooms and don’t mind the price, I recommend the Marriott Irvine Spectrum highly

Beka Walker

This hotel is one of the worst Marriott properties I’ve ever been to I have stayed at Marriott’s my entire life and this one looked great in photos but upon arriving the entire experience was horrible Aesthetically it looks amazing but everything else is pretty bad

It started when I showed up to check in to my executive suite that I booked over the phone with Marriott weeks ago The front desk told me that I wasn’t checking in until the next day and even after showing them my booking confirmation with the dates they told me they didn’t have a room for me I spoke with the manager and she didn’t even offer a suggestion until after I pushed for 20 minutes about how they needed to fix their mistake and provide my family with a place to stay She ended up giving us a free night after not much help at the beginning but then when we got to the smaller suite—there were leftovers in the fridge, no coffee maker, and little cutlery provided in the full kitchen area 1 fork and 2 spoonsThere were no cleaning supplies or extra blankets All around a bad experience for paying over $700 a night for a suite with a full kitchen Basically a sink with two seats and a fridge The bathroom doors also wouldn’t stay closed Getting a luggage cart was a jokeI would not recommend staying hereThey do have a Starbucks downstairs which is a plus That’s the one positive

The Hyatt brand does not put hospitality above all else They automatically canceled my 2 day reservation even they had already charged my card and I showed up late Fine

When I asked for my money back the general manager of operation straight up to my face told me he will not refund the money to my third party Even though he is able to at his discretion Again he has the power to issue the refund but refused to do so Be warned this general manager of operations does not know the meaning of customer service First you put the customer out on the street, fine! Next you refuse to give the refund you can actually authorize Customer is not first here

Robert Sacks

The front desk receptionist Michelle was wonderful However from there on it was just ok The gentlemen who checked us out was in such a rush

We were told that we would be credited 1 nights parking because they needed to clean the carpets on the floor we stayed on I believe the gentleman that checked us out was Bill If I didn’t check my emailed receipt I would have caught that they overcharged us and broke their promise Again Michelle was awesome She corrected the mistake and apologized

Luke Small

Down here for an event around the corner Room was reserved over the phone and went well Everyone at the front desk was great and helpful

The room was clean and fresh Tv set up seemed a little datedLocated near tons of great food options within walking distance The swings across the street is a nice attraction to visit The morning breakfast was great with fresh fruits, cereal, bacon, hashbrowns, coffee and tea, bagels & toast Very filling and deliciousWill definitely stay here again when in town

As usual the staff at the front desk were super accommodating and very nice It’s nice to show up to a hotel where the people working there seem excited to see you The room was very clean and everything went smoothly

The added bonus was my coffee in the morning that I bought from the downstairs lobby coffee bar was piping hot! The small things make a difference thank you for a great stay

Dr.Mai AlSalman

The best thing about the hotel is the staff ; they are super and helpful, friendly and smiling Rooms are nice specially the ones with view on the pool Cleanliness is good ; corridors and backyard but we stayed for four days , they didn’t clean at all although We talk that our room need 2 b cleaned many times

location is good for people want to be away for a while , to sit , relax , read or write But not for tourists who want fun , No fun around except Shopping 😅😅; Spectrum Mall Don’t expect a porter to carry your bags , you will carry them by yourself One great point: there’s a market inside

Theodore

Pros: Great location Irvine Spectrum Center is just 5 minutes walk far from the hotel Parking is free for the first 20 minutes but after that, it costs you $16 a day

The room was clean and housekeeping was satisfying Starbucks is in the lobby The front desk staffs were very nice and pleasantCons: No complimentary water Dining is not available in lunch time Starbucks’s staffs were very annoying and rude, seriously They pretended not to understand what I spoke Definitely you would be better off going to another Starbucks in another Marriott or Irvine Spectrum Center The hotel also charged me for parking that I didn’t use

Location was good for where I needed to go The staff was nice Their little market was bare

I was thankful I only had to stay for one night because the rooms were not the best I had to switch rooms because the AC in the first room didn’t work and the temperature in the room was 80+ degrees The second room was ok The bathroom counter was either stained or not cleaned or both I wore shower shoes and made sure not to walk around with bare feet Also, both rooms smelled odd I will not stay here again

CasaDe Piña

Fourth trip this year Gym is good The employees are so attentive, the location is convenient to where I am growing business opportunities

Restaurants, shopping, parks, trails and LA Fitness Fairfield is so clean, affordable and a repeat stayTrip 5, another easy check in even though I arrived late in the evening 🤩Front counter attendant was super nice Room was clean, cool, and I really like how the tv plays the welcome music

Melissa Carrasco

I would give it a 0 if I could! Worst hotel stay- you ask for room service (cleaning) and it rarely gets done They keep apologizing and say next day it’ll get done and still doesn’t Even when they clean my room it was not all clean

My room was actually left open and I asked for days about who had access to my room that day they said it was being investigated but I didn’t see anything being done Fridge stops working randomly Upstairs hallways smell and are hot

The customer service here is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful Amy assisted me with check-in and was outstanding! Extremely professional and knowledgeable The breakfast was delicious, and the area was very clean

The room was also very clean and well maintained The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was very spacious

Chip Smith

We came to town for a memorial service and stayed at this Hampton Inn for 2 nights The room was nice, the bed was firm and large enough that I could stretch out and not leave my feet hanging off the edgePlease make other arrangements for your morning coffee or get some at the lobby breakfast

(YES, they have a couple waffle irons!) The in-room coffee is not terrible, but the packaging is supremely wastefulThe blackout shade does an excellent job keeping the sun out of the room There is a small refrigerator and a small microwave, as well as the mini coffee makerAll in all it’s a nice place which has some small maintenance issues I usually give the front desk a list of things that need attention, but I held still and the feeling passedI would be comfortable staying here again, but it probably wouldn’t be my first choice, depending on how long and why we were in town

We were overcharged by almost $40 after being given the receipt in an email They attempted to charge my card 5 times within a 5 minute time span rendering my card locked They then proceeded to charge my card again two days after we checked out for $36 for whatever reason and they don’t seem to know why

The manager and Martha were very helpful and very polite the morning we checked in Brenda who serviced the front desk on the night shift was the one who had quite the attitude and informed us of these over charges that we were not told about Brenda insisted that the incidental fee was a $200 charge that she would give us a discount to make it $20 What I found very interesting was that one charge on my card was the $16419 I was originally planning to pay One charge was $185 and the other three charges were $190 Regarding the cleanliness of the room and the tranquil atmosphere, that part of my stay was excellent But overall, my partner and I were extremely stressed out the entire night we were staying, and left earlier than our check out time the next morning because I honestly could not wait to go home I definitely won’t be staying at this location again, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here either The next time I need a hotel room, I will be looking elsewhere I would give this place one star but that extra star is for Martha She was great!

This is a great place to stay at for your next vacation The front desk and staff members are very kind Oscar and the ladies who work the front breakfast area they all have incredibly awesome personalities and they demonstrated excellent customer service during me and my finance stay at SpringHill Suites

We will definitely be staying there again We hope to see them at our wedding on June 18th Great work SpringHill from Dr Robert L Jamison and Verdiana Bentley-Brodie

Times have changed I was very disappointed I learned that Marriott’s ideal of a suite is a room with a sofa

It was subpar Perhaps a tiny upgrade from a Motel six Not worth the price and I asked the staff if this was a suite They lied Not a glass to drink out of It was terrible No privacy, 1 swiveling TV for both shared spaces I bathroom My grandchildren are with me and there was no way to shut out the noise

When first showing up and parking we encountered a crazy homeless man The hotel had a little smell to it Things weren’t wiped down in our room either

The area is nice if you need a cash title loan or a place to buy a gun though, they have it all in the same parking lot The building maintenance looked really well taken care of The place was ok and the breakfast was good

Room sucked Event was greatThe bed was honestly no better than a blanket on the floor and the pillows were flatter than a towel

The refrigerator was not cold enough to keep our already cold drinks cold Lights on the mirror flickered Water pressure in the shower was very lowIn the cafe in the lobby, the freezer wasn’t cold enough to keep the ice cream frozen so they were all meltedHowever, the view was nice and the room was clean and visually very pleasantNot worth a $200+ a night stay Especially when we have to also pay for parkingWith that being said, we hosted a celebration of life for my little sister and the event space was absolutely perfect Noel and the event team helped us immensely and their sense of urgency was more than appreciated They had a great audio/visual set up and were more than helpful in setting it up for us The food (a few grazing boards that we picked) was well prepared and beautifully displayed We choose to have a cash bar there and the drinks were very nice, the wine was great, and the bartender was very kind They even made a point to ask what color my sister liked for the table covers

Tania Campbell

Sadly Im giving this review due to the poor customer service in addressing our concerns during our stay We specifically booked this hotel to use the pool and the day we arrived the pool area was being painted, so what should have been a nice peaceful pool day was ruined by construction I understand these updates are necessary for upkeep and the hotel was very nice, but the hotel did not disclose the construction on their booking page and when I brought my concerns up to the front desk I was told I should have called and checked ahead of time

This was rude and makes no sense as usually you book online to avoid having to call hotels directly Sadly the lack of addressing my concerns has lead to this poor review as the hotel was nice and clean, but when you are specifically staying somewhere to use the amenities and you can’t use them you are not getting what you paid for

Perry Tobin

Very deceptive and poor customer service After making reservation, I tried to modify reservation (online and via phone) and they were too busy When I checked in, I explained my change (one day out of four)

They told me I was all set When I checked out, they still wanted charge me for the extra day Not only did they want to charge me for the day, but they also wanted to check me out to re rent the room Calling Hilton corporate was no help1 – Could not change reservation the same day I made it2 – They lied when I checked in, and told me reservation was modified3 – Corporate would not accommodate, even for a creditBottomline – they don’t care about their customers, go elsewhere

This is a large hotel mainly used by business people and attendees at conventions taking place at the Riverside Convention Center that is immediately adjacent to the hotel It is clean and quiet and the rooms are what you expect from a large hotel chain The fixtures are modern and work well

I would prefer a few more electrical outlets around the room but we made do with what was thereWhether it is due to the ongoing pandemic or something else, they only service the guest rooms on your third day in the room and every third day after that You can request clean towels every day but not a general cleaning and change of bed linensThey offer a come-and-go breakfast with high tables to stand at while you eat but no sit-down table serviceThere is a large (about 60 inch) TV and you can get standard cable TV channels A few streaming services are also available but you need to have your own subscription (user name and password) from your home subscription to view them (Netflix, HBO, and YouTube TV are available but not Amazon Prime) See the Marriott web site for more details on amenities)All in all, a nice hotel if you are going to be out and about most of the time but not one for family vacations where entertainment and activities for kids are needed

Valinda Henry

We use this Marriott for business, prior to Covid for years The meeting rooms are always set up the way we like it The servers and service is always friendly and accommodating

We always served breakfast during our meetings and the food was nothing memorable I have stayed overnight here more than 1 occasion during the holidays, and it was fine I gave it 4 stars because the prices at the restaurant were pretty high, at least the food at the restaurant was flavorful and good

Tracy Campbell

It’s a place to stay Price is fine Rooms are a little run down

Appointments are cheap and decor is sparse Beds are a brick with really nice mattress pads Carpets in the room are disgusting and I wouldn’t walk on them with bare feet TV is huge, but none of the premium channels work Internet is $13/day Literally right across from the convention center Every member of the staff was super friendly and very helpful Had to drop this to two stars after my cold shower this morning Place doesn’t even have hot water Was going to stay for three days, but can’t do it Moved across the street to the Hyatt

We love this hotel we chose to stayed here for 7 days while on our Disney vacation and we loved it and would recommend it The freeway entrance is just up the street and only takes 20 min to Disney and 30 min to Huntington Beach, the roads were not too busy didn’t experience any bad traffic There was 4 of us and we had a one king and a pull out sofa room and it fits us perfectly and the beds and pillows were very comfortable

The clerks were very pleasant and professional and the staffs were very friendly and helpful It is a cashless hotel just a heads up The pool was great couldn’t get my kids out and so was she breakfast There is a bunch of stores, gym and restaurants around the hotel The parking lot gets filled up fast if you return late but what can you do if a place is very popular We enjoyed our stay and would come back next time if close by our vacation spots Thank you

I’ve frequented Fairfield Inns and was pleasantly surprised that this one was different from the others I’ve booked with It’s more of a motel style – with individual rooms with doors that lead outside So, no doorman

The difference is that this place feels safe and secure! When I checked in, the front desk employee was friendly and welcomed me for my first stay at this Fairfield Inn location (I am a silver elite member) With my reservation, I requested a room on a low floor and I was provided with one The rooms are great and the bathroom are gorgeous Complimentary breakfast was also given, and it was hot breakfast instead of the grab-n-go type of breakfast I’m satisfied with this beautiful place 🙂

Stayed here with my wife while visiting Disneyland It was only a 20-minute drive and about half the cost of the hotels around Disney I was a bit surprised that this hotel had outdoor corridors; I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a Marriott hotel that didn’t have indoor corridors

I was pleasantly surprised that it was quiet inside the room, even with people walking by outside and the location next to a busy freewayThe whole property felt a bit dated but it was clean and the amenities were good I liked the exercise room in the casita by the pool TV in room was very smallOverall, it’s a good hotel and if you’re looking to save a few bucks it’s worth staying here

Rooms are clean and hotel is nice – unfortunately I can’t say the same for a front desk staff member who made my experience less than ideal I had been staying two nights previously and just needed one additional night I walked in said I’d like to book a room to which the night front desk clerk Informed me that he is not able to make a reservation and I would have to do it online

I thought I was being punked because I’m literally standing at the front desk of the hotel and in a less than pleasant fashion repeated “online, online, yes online” I asked for anyone else that could me and their name and number and they let me know that that person wouldn’t be here until Monday Which means they don’t have a manager Saturday and Sunday and conveniently they’re out of all the contact information for this person This really ruined my experience that was so great for the first two nights that I stayed here That’s very unfortunate And both outlets at the bed only work if the light is turned on in this room

The rooms are good and big with a full kitchen and fridge with a cook top 2 burner Staff is nice but

if you arrive later at night, like 1030,11 your basically on your own, there is zero parking left and I’m saying this because I was there for 9 days and never once found parking in the hotel lot after 11, I had to park down the street and if something happens to your car the hotel told me they are not responsible, the night staff told me to park wherever I can basically For paying almost 2k they should have a more organized parking structure going on This is the only negative I had

This hotel is fantastic It all started when I pulled up walked in and ran into Jenny at the front desk she was courteous helpful friendly and welcoming Very informative knew the area very well and was very proud of her hotel

And it showed She followed up after we checked-in to make sure we were comfortable and asked if there’s anything else she could do for us I was able to get a late check out for the next day People at the breakfast room were very friendly and accommodating as were the people working on the pool Place was clean well taken care of and is in a great location Plenty of food options around the area for all kinds of appetites and tastse Close to the I-15 freeway but you would not know it once you’re at the hotel WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Found a giant cockroach in the closet in my bathroom Disgusting Front desk said there is nothing they can do about it and sent me on my way

I asked for another room that was not on the first floor She tells me they are sold out Their website says they have at least 2 different room types available for tonight I ask her for a refund so that I can leave immediately and try to find other accommodations She refuses but says she can cancel my stay without a refund What use would that be? Essentially kicking myself out of the hotel while they keep all of my money They have so many little signs everywhere stating that the rooms have been sanitized and disinfected How clean could it be if there are large adult breeding-age roaches in plain sight???? God forbid a few catch a ride on my suitcase so that I unwittingly spread the infestation to my personal belongings and/or home Seriously? I paid $200 to sleep with roaches for 1 night This is ridiculous I’m sleeping in the lobbySave your money Go elsewhere The fact that they offered no solution to at all to a patrons problem, should alarm you Besides the obvious reasons of how gross and unsanitary a cockroach infestation is, knowing that if you have any issues during your stay, nothing will be done about it; should be enough to send any reasonable person to find a different hotel And if they are slacking on cleanliness, what else could be flying under the radar? Also the WiFi here is practically non existent Even in the common areas and lobby If I can get a signal at all, it is too slow to be of any use

We stayed at this hotel in their 1 bedroom studio room for about a week Kaleb did a great job as the front desk employee who helped us check in and also check out Guia kept in touch with us about a possible rock & play for our younger toddler for her to sleep in, and also was great about addressing our early morning needs promptly & clearly as a family of 4, with 2 young toddlers

On a Sunday afternoon, when we were inviting family members to come by so that we cook lunch for them, Jake, was the polite employee who replaced the kitchen light bulb & TV remote professionally and quickly Finally, Justin H was polite and friendly as the front desk employee who assisted with providing change for the laundry machines and also confirming that there was free hot brewed coffee In addition, the hotel provided a sturdy and comfortable king size mattress and functioning appliances in the kitchen If our family ever wants to visit our extended family in Orange County again, we will consider this hotel once more

Rooms are old but decent Beds aren’t terrible but aren’t great The continental breakfast was surprisingly very good

Staff is friendly and helpful The pool was pretty gross It appears they think a pool that is milky in color and not being able to see the bottom is sign of a well maintained pool They need to fire whoever is responsible for the pool maintenance Also I informed many employees about the outside security door not properly locking and it was never addressed There are too many other options for you to choose to stay here I won’t make that mistake again So they respond with a form letter response saying how thankful they are for my review as they CARE about me! Here we are and the door is still not secure and the pool is still disgusting You don’t care, just about my money Typical

1st time here Booked reservations for 3 nights A/C not functioning

Notified front desk twice 1st guy said he’d have some check on it, which I don’t think he followed through since he was getting off his shift Second gentleman, Isaac Reed was apologetic and did have a maintenance person inspect and A/C completely out Got upgraded to a one BR at no extra costMr Reed, you have restored my faith in this hotel! Thank you I would have given 4 stars if the elevators didn’t keep breaking down I may consider staying again provided I can get accommodations on the 1st floor with a functional A/C
