Had an amazing experience staying here The rooms are so nice and gives a luxury feel, the staff went above and beyond Ryan was great as soon as we pulled up to valet, Ashley was great to speak with when checking in, and Rafael the GM greeted us as we were having drinks at the bar

They offer very unique beverages, I highly recommend the K-pop & lock for ginger lovers They even have iconic movie place cards all throughout the room as well as drink vouchers Across the street there’s an outdoor mall with hundreds of popular stores and places to eat, Rodeo Dr is a short drive away as well as Santa Monica

Tiarnan O’Gara

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are well trained and seem to really enjoy their workThe rooms are spacious, have good views and a nice balcony to enjoy the in room Nespresso each morning The rooftop pool is a perfect place to relax with amazing city views and plenty of loungers and daybedsThe Belgian waiter at Lumiere was very welcoming and knowledgeable on all things throughout the hotel and gave some great recommendations for other activities in the area

My wife and I had a wonderful time! The hotel is very cozy and has great places to sit and enjoy the amazing weather We cannot say enough about the wonderful staff, they did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful stay The Grand View Suite had nice sitting area, a lovely fireplace and a great soaking tub all framed with a wonderful view

The wine and cheese hour was a great start to the trip and the breakfast the next day was a welcome start to the day Thank you for a great trip

Rosalinda Garcia

This hotel is beyond beautiful inside and out Kathleen was super welcoming The wine and cheese definitely was a plus

And breakfast exceeded my expectations The room was so clean and let me just say, this was the first hotel that made me feel like I was at my second home The balcony view is amazing The restroom is extremely spacious And the bed was so so comfortable This place is very well taken care of And Kathleen thank you for making my husband feel comfortable and not judged Unfortunately because of the color of his skin, we always receive lesser than service, but you Kathleen, looked at him in the eye while talking to him and you did not give him the cold shoulder at all Thank you for the lovely service Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends and family

This place (and Playa del Rey) is such a hidden gem! I lived in LA for 10 years and it’s strange trying to find a hotel in your former home city, but this was an absolutely perfect, homey place to stay It’s super close to the airport, but a *million* times better than an airport hotel I was recently in LA for work and wanted to extend my trip by a day without spending a fortune, and this was perfect

The room was clean and cozy, but the best part of the hotel by far is the beautiful sitting room/dining room The breakfast was awesome, and the hotel staff let me hang out all day working even after I checked out The sitting room was quiet with great wifi and views, and really the perfect place to spend a day, if you have to spend a day working The staff went above and beyond and even brought me cookies and a drink while I was working 🙂 Playa is small, but it’s a quick (~10 minute) walk to the beach path where I felt perfectly comfortable walking in the morning as a solo female, and there’s a handful of walkable places to eat and get coffee (don’t miss Playa Provisions!), and a small convenience store around the corner I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in LA

I stayed at this hotel coming from Boston and I told them about my recent engagement and they definitely rolled the red carpet for us This was the best experience we’ve had staying at a hotel Best staff ever

From the nice lady checking us in to our amazing housekeeping staff Thank you for making our first time in LA memorable! Please continue to be awesome You will definitely see us again!

Juel McGhee

Location was perfect Minutes from Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier

You could bike over or even walk We Brought our 7 yr old daughter and she was happy about the water taxi for $1 that you could catch right next to the hotel The hotel itselfI would have a higher review if I did not pay 600 a night Definitely NOT worth that! Hotel is old, boring, beds were comfortable but definitely not queens for the double room Seemed more like full size Not a Ritz Carlton feel at all in hotel Valet was quick with the cars The drains run slow and the refrigerator stunk so bad we could not use it This Ritz is a bare minimum Ritz The staff was nice and courteous We went back and forth with staying at the Marriott across the street for 1/2 the price

Emily Plata

This hotel does not live up to the standards of the Ritz-Carlton name For the price, the stay was not worth it The hotel needs major renovations

Bathroom with a poor quality curtain, only one thin bathrobe Outdated room furniture The balcony to our room had large cement stains and was furnished with cheap decor It was unsettling Please do not stay at this hotel just for the name You are better off staying at a different hotel This felt more like a 3-star hotel I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I want to caution others to save their money and go elsewhereThe only positive aspect about this hotel was housekeeping and the staff that bring up your room service Nice and attentive hard-working people

It was just OK The rooms were clean and I had a good night sleep It is just those little things that could have been just a little better

Friendlier greeting Nice staff, but I personally like a warm smileI was on a floor where the “insides” of the ice machine were exposed and buzzing very loud Not a good presentation as one is headed to the room Did not give me a good first impressionThey have a coffee bar and a restaurant, but they do not offer free coffee in the lobby Not a deal breaker I am just used to getting coffee in the morning from the lobbyWould I stay here again Yes Would it be my first choice, maybe notAgain, this is not a bad review Just a You could do things a little better note

E C

Hotel is very nice great location close to freeways, despite being close to freeways no outside noise, was put in a room close to the elevator, when ac was off we could here the elevator bell when landing on our floor, and we could here the toilet flush from the next room room has a beautiful layout where no space is waisted and it doesn’t feel cramped for a family of 4 Booked a room with a sofa bed but, no sofa bed in a room just a very comfortable small couch Pool area is seems not maintained, plants over growing no towels, chips on chairs

Ice machine wasn’t working on our floor but every other floor seem functional over all great stay and nice view out the window 👌

Freshly renovated The room was really nice Probably my best hotel stay so far in California

I like it better than the courtyard marina del ReyThe room was very quiet and I couldn’t hear loud footsteps above me or people in the room next to meThe service was good and the breakfast at the restaurant was great It is valet only for parking so plan accordingly if that is an issueThe surprise on top was the spray they provide in the rooms to help aid in falling asleep I was skeptical but it worked And have used it at home Great job Marriott

C. Paulsen

The rooms have a nice, roomy, modern design, but like most Marriott hotels, there are some minor cosmetic maintenance issues (baseboard in hallway needing repairs, wallpaper in bathroom peeling on edges) The pool was lovely and well cleaned The restaurant for breakfast was delicious and wait staff super friendly

Most of the staff was great, but there was a problem with my reservation (put me for 1 night instead of the 2 I had reserved) and when I went to fix it, the staff at first didn’t seem to want to help at all – like I was causing problems That was a minor blip to otherwise good experience

TIFFANY GUO

Incredible stay! Service was excellent, rooms were clean, spacious, modern, and it’s quiet in the rooms for a good night’s sleep (I’ve been at one too many hotels where you can hear guests next door entering / exiting their rooms) The only thing that was lacking was the water pressure – showering was not super satisfying with the weak water pressure Despite that, would definitely book here again!

Checked in at roughly 4:45pm, for what was supposed to have been a relaxing overnight stay, after a very stressful day It was anything but

First room, after turning down the bed, I found a nasty looking long thick hair on the sheet Called room service and ask if housekeeping could come up and change the sheets on the bed, while I went down to the restaurant Returned to the room around 8:00pm, exhausted and ready to sleep Unfortunately, housekeeping left the sheets on the kitchenette counter waiting for me, as if expected to change the bed myself Wow…I called down to the front desk to question and complain, as I did not reserve a room and pay room charges as such to have to arrive at the hotel and change what I perceived to be a less than inviting bed The young man at the desk proceeded to explain that it was not out of the ordinary for quest to request new sheets and change the bed themselves, justifying why the sheets were left on the counter An Unacceptable and frankly rude and inconsiderate explanation I tried to explain I wasn’t one of those guest, and that his attention should be directed towards my individual complaint I informed him when booking a room at a hotel, I was looking for, at best, cleanliness, comfort and convenience; otherwise, I would have stayed home He seemed indifferent, and repeated himself Whatever happened to quality customer service in a hospitality environment??? Moreover, at the rate the hotel charges, one would expect no less Well, he put me in another room An old corner room; bad to worst The lights in the bedroom did not work The engineer had to come up and flip the circuit breaker and the blinds on the automatic closure mechanism were inoperable Small TV in the bedroom, where in the first room, it was at least a large 65” inch flat screen, mounted on the wall above The small tv required me to have to prop myself up to see it, as it sat on a low table It should have been mounted on the wall above the table for a comfortable ergonomic view while relaxing in bed It’s unfortunate that under the circumstances, I wasn’t afforded an room upgrade to compensate for the inconvenience and the lack of hospitality This was my second stay, as the first was a month ago and it was exceptional As for the young man at the desk, I suggest more training It’s called hospitality, and a guest should not have to debate an issue of cleanliness and convenience, when the accommodations fail to meet expectations He did comp my parking, which I appreciated, but that did not sway my opinion of the entire experience Needless to say, I will not revisit this hotel again Very disappointed!!!!

Brad Beggs

Beautiful relatively new hotel with large rooms overlooking the marina or city and oceanParking is pricey, but the city of Marina del Ray has several nearby surface lots that charge $6 to $10 for 24 hours, and you can come and go without having to pay again The closest is about a quarter mile north, just south of Mothers Beach, and you can walk along the marina to get to the hotel

There are nice kitchen facilities in your room, and several grocery stores nearby including Trader Joe’s Breakfast is included and is pretty good

The property is wonderful! It’s recently renovated and is so fresh and welcoming The rooms are comfortable, clean and well designed The Food and Beverage team is FANTASTIC! Everyone serving breakfast was kind and warm and attentive

It really enhances the stay I highly recommend the avocado toast! I will absolutely stay here again when back in LA Very convenient to get to LAX as well

I rushed over to this hotel with my luggage in the 90 degree heat after leaving a neighboring hotel where I felt unsafe I arrived sweaty and out of breath and they immediately offered me a giant water bottle and made sure I felt comfortable Danielle, a manager at the front desk, helped me find a room that would work for me and my family that was arriving any minute

She absolutely went above and beyond to help me and was absolutely incredible our entire stay The rest of the staff was very nice but Danielle was incredible Also, she mentioned they had recently renovated and it was in fact beautiful! The pool was not finished but we were not disturbed by any construction Am recommending to all my family!

Being a Marriott member I was looking for a place in LA for a few nights and came across Beverly Hills Marriott Reviews were good, place looked nice so I booked my stay The second I arrived the valet helped me out of my car and into the lobby

The front desk was quick and efficient and got me my room key quickly Went up to a very nice and modern room and everything was cleanI loved my stay here but there was just 1 thing holding me back from giving it 5 starsThe bedExtremely uncomfortable as I prefer firmer mattresses and my back was sore after both nights Also didn’t sleep well because of it too Not sure if they were older mattresses but I was not a fan Loved everything else about this place though and the staff was top notch

Stephen Shao Chi-Ching

In general, room, hotel services, location are pretty goodThe hotel itself is old and I can see some cracks here and there in toilet, but still functional By the way, I think they should renovate their elevator! They provide complementary morning coffee in the lobby (Starbucks) which is nice

However, for a hotel with nearly 300 USD per night, I expected more

Cindy Hynes

Kai and Charlie in Valet were amazing, we stayed the night with a 10-foot trailer in tow along with our pickup truck They were amazingly helpful in getting the car and trailer situated even in a city like Beverly Hills which as you may or may not know is impossible to park a trailer The staff was great, we travel for business often and I would stay there again and again

The rooms were small but clean, staff was friendlyThe only downside they charged my card twice on accident and I am working to get that situated 😉

The hotel is very nice and clean and simple Key card access for the front door, someone there always to help out, and a rooftop seating area you could have takeout at Nice experience, but the location is not too nice

It’s almost 2hrs by bus/metro to the city At night, most things in the area are closed, it doesn’t feel very safe – only a few passerby’s around, some strangers shouting random things at you as you walk by, some homeless in the area The experience at the hotel is nice though, and only a 5min walk to the nearest bus stop, and a bit longer for a metro station If you are only there for the beach, then I think it’s a good choice for the money

A “wedged” shape old building Elegant is a good word for it Inside 1st floor is a bar w various seating, up-scale ambiance; often with a piano player, windows all around

Also small dinning room Staircase up, you’ll find more bar area, more private lounging Next floor or 2 up are offices, and a vault behind cracked open concrete for viewing Then the rooms for the rest Best thing about the hotel is it’s location; nearly dead center downtown Culver City Behind the hotel is a main tentrance to Sony Theatres Hotel has a history of course, beginning with silent films to present Main reason hotel was built was to provide office space and lodging to attract famous people If you want to be “in the center” of nice restaurants n cars n Sony StudiosIt’s the go to Hotel

Garrett Brisbee

The room was pretty nice, having modern touches in an old structure Everything worked and the bed was comfortable I took a point off because of the horrible paint work within our room

For a building that is on the registry of historic places you would think they would hire someone that knows how to actually paint Another small detail is the fact that they didn’t have the check out time posted in the room, which I’m pretty sure it’s law

Flora Demuth

The hotel and rooms are lovely with a few exceptions The old fireplaces in the rooms have been plastered over but, for some insane reason, they left logs sticking straight out of the plasterSecond, the mattresses are super uncomfortable

It feels like you’re lying down in a pile of marshmallows Which sounds comfortable until you get anyone over 40 staying there and I guarantee 90% of those guests have back problems (🙋🏼‍♀️)

The room itself was nice, the location is convenient, and the hotel is beautiful, if I were just rating that I would give it four stars But everything else was a bit of a mess To start, the halls and rooms smelled of sewage for three of our four days, no hotel staff explained this nor offered us any recompense for this massive discomfort

I came for a wedding and my brother reserved a block of rooms in advance Several weeks before arrival I called to put my card on my room so that he wouldn’t be charged for it Now both myself and my sister were staying in the room, and she arrived about an hour before I did Apparently they have a policy (I’ve never experienced this anywhere else) where they have to swipe a card prior to check-in, so my sister had to swipe hers and assume the responsibility of paying for our entire stay before we’d actually done so Now I called here on the morning of our last day to ensure that the card that would actually bear the responsibility would be my own, but they’d deleted my card from their system when my sister swiped on checkin Just outright deleted it And now it will take up to a week for the money to be returned to my sister’s account even though this was their absolute boneheaded mistake NOT TO MENTION THEY JUST ASSUMED WE HAD A CAR AND CHARGED US AN EXTRA $100 FOR PARKING None of this was communicated and had to be resolved on-site Absolutely ridiculously piss poor customer service, they’re lazy and apathetic LA residents

Very clean rooms Check in tho me and my family had to wait for nearly 4 hours before getting into our rooms Made reservations 3 weeks before and we were not the only ones who waited as well

To make it a bit more awful they put us in a room next to the exit door and spent our days hearing slamming of doors from other guest leaving and coming in Shook the walls and so loud Woke me up a few times in the night But room were comfortable Great food also Beautiful location and view

Dan VanGent

This was an incredible stay all the way around and we will be back! We simply wanted a place to stay for the night after my wife’s surgery at a nearby hospital so we didn’t have to drive the 2 hours home We got that plus a little getaway at an amazing hotel! We were welcomed from the minute we drove up by the valet and bell staff The front desk staff was also very welcoming and explained the features of the property, including the restaurant

Our room (119) was on the first floor facing the marina It had a large patio/balcony area with a beautiful view of the beach, water, boats and hotel grounds The patio furniture was even clean, which isn’t always the case at hotels When we return, I hope we can get the same room as the view seemed perfectThe room itself was very clean and everything was in working order There were plenty of outlets, a Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, large TV, good sized desk, comfortable chair, and plenty of lights The bed was very comfortable Yes, it has a wall air conditioner But we actually appreciated the white noise effect from setting the fan to run all nightThe restaurant was outstanding! They don’t have room service at this time, but they gladly took our order my phone and called us back in about 20 minutes when it was ready to pick up The butternut squash ravioli was delicious and the macadamia nut chocolate chip cookies are our new favorite (Sorry, DoubleTree) Breakfast on the outdoor patio right on the beach was also wonderful A creative menu perfectly executedWe’re completed baffled by all the negative reviews Don’t hesitate to stay here Just make sure you get a room with a marina view Or at least leave your room and go hang out in the chairs on the lawn on the marina side We will be back!

Stayed for a single night to explore the beach, bike path, Santa Monica pier, and all that Venice has to see Venice V staff was so friendly and super helpful! I was not familiar with the area so I called about the valet parking and they helped me very quickly They also hooked me up with the complimentary bike rental, and had a blast

The room was awesome as well! Very comfortable bed & nice bathroom, with 2 different shower heads Water and espresso was complimentary, and the easily accessible online Compendium has prices for the snacks Would recommend to friends and family!

Loving this hotel It’s quiet cozy and clean! Rooms were a lil small but perfect for me and my husband We had an amazing view from our room with ocean views just steps away from the beach

From the front desk guys and the house keeping ladies they all treated you like family! I wish we would have stayed here vs the Hotel Erwin all nights we were in town Thank you again!

The floor was sticky everywhere on our shoes The stickiness made us realize the grout was all black on the floor, but almost white on the baseboards (also tile) indicating an incredible amount of filth We left the room in the exact same condition it was given to us and they still kept over $20 of the deposit with no explanation

Parking is nearly impossible, there are 8 spots (they charge additional fees to use and if you don’t reserve in advance you will be screwed) but 18 rooms, so if everybody has a vehicle there are 10 people screwed every nightDriving down Pacific Ave to look for parking as recommended will take 10+ minutes per block during prime time Basically expect to waste either time or $$$ parking and then get a filthy room At least the sheets seemed clean enough to sleep in and the proximity to the beach was great

It’s quaint & clean, and a bit dated compared to a name brand hotel, but the location on the marina beach is amazing, especially for the price compared to the surrounding hotels We stayed on the 2nd floor with patio overlook of beach 1st floor has a larger patio with a picture window view of beach

Beds are comfortable Mini fridge & microwave are very useful Wall A/C worked great Easy walk to shops, restaurants & ocean, and also a quick drive to ocean beach parking We would definitely stay here again!

Fraser Kerr

Was upgraded free of charge (and without asking) Rooms were large, quiet and clean, with an amazing view of the beach and marina Couldnt have been closer to the beach without actually being on the sand The staff were extremely helpful and friendly

It was close to some great dining and drinking options A mere 10 minute walk to Venice Beach and all it has to offer 10/10 will stay again

Jeremiah Ravenmoor

Price was a little expensive but the scene is worth it It’s very quiet in the morning which I love and any help I needed it Andre was there to help, the other staff while I stayed here seemed to enjoy there job and continued to work Will be definitely stay here again when I return to California

It’s nothing Extravagant but it makes up for Location, hospitality and costumer service

I’ve recently returned from an awful if not traumatic 4 night stay at Su Casa You would think nice amenities and a good night’s rest would be pretty high on a hotel’s list of priorities; to my chagrin, this was not the case at Su Casa First off, every single night we were woken by the kitchen staff blaring their radio as loudly as humanly possible at around 5 in the morning; which meant every single night, someone had to go downstairs and bang on the kitchen door for a few minutes until we got the staff’s attention to turn down their radio

We complained to the front desk every day about the noise issue but were only given a curt sorry and told that nothing that could be done about the noise This boggles the mind, since we were informed that the hotel and restaurant, both in the same building, were owned by the same owner Surely a quick word/complaint to and from the owner would have taken care of the noise but it’s pretty evident that the owner cares much more about his restaurant than his hotel guests If you somehow managed to sleep through the kitchen staff, you will surely be awoken by the music being blasted out of the restaurant speakers starting at 7am To give the hotel some credit, after our 3rd complaint about the music/noise, the restaurant was kind enough to start their music a little later, at 7:30 on our last day Finally, my last gripe with the hotel is about their furniture Although the room was advertised for 4, there was only a single bed and quite possibly, the most uncomfortable pull out couch I have ever slept on If anyone reading this is a Seinfeld fan, I would highly recommend they visit Su Casa and see the sofa bed Elaine slept on in Jerry’s parents house In all seriousness, the sofa bed was so insufferable we just ended up moving the pad onto the floor to sleep on Though I have never spent a night in a Soviet gulag, I have no doubts that a night there would be comparable to a night’s stay at Su Casa

Aaron Nance

It’s a cute little gem like many of the reviews say Excellent location on the beach, above a nice restaurant, right next to Santa Monica Great for people watching

We got upgraded to oceanside, so the view is very nice, but there’s no balcony Room is very quaint, but adequate for 2 people Bed is remarkably comfortable, but there’s no door separating the bedroom from the living area (only a sheet) I can’t imagine trying to fit more than 2 people comfortably, but it’s a good room for a couple who don’t require privacy

Eric Regensburger

If getting a good nights sleep is important to you then I highly advise you to stay away form this hotelWe spent almost $2,000 to spend 4 nights here and every morning between 5-6 am the cleaning crew for the restaurant downstairs would arrive and start blaring music where you could hear every word Our one bedroom apartment was considered the most expensive in the hotel but it was located right above the restaurant’s kitchen (which is owned by the same owner as the hotel)

So every night we would have to go down and bang on the side door until someone would finally acknowledge us and turn the music down We brought it up with the front desk staff each morning but were met with apologetic but ultimately useless pacification and justifications One staff member told us that this issue had come up before but the owner did not care as his #1 concern was the restaurant, not the hotel and there was nothing they could do about it After three days of talking to everyone we could find they finally offered us a $100 refund out of $2,000 Even if the cleaners do not wake you up the restaurant itself starts bright and early every morning at 7 am with very loud music Ultimately the staff there do not care at all about the hotel guests and the owner does not care enough to do anything about itAlso the apartment was advertised for four people but the pull out couch was pitiful It had the same quality as the futon in your extended family’s basement that you had to sleep on during vacations as a kid It was approximately 2 inches thick and rested upon the most uncomfortable steel frame imaginable We had to take it out of the couch and put it on the floor Also there are a ton of windows in the room with the thinnest white curtains imaginable Basically you need an eye mask and ear plugs in order to get some sleep hereThe dining chairs were also battered and held together with what looked like a foam pad strapped on top of the collapsed bottom This was indicative of the whole apartment as it had a shabby feel of a 10 year old renovation with very little care or maintenance done since thenDo yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere whey they care about you

What a great stay!! We spent a fantastic weekend here – it was so relaxing and fun! The room was perfect, with great amenities! (Seriously, those are the softest robes I’ve ever felt!)The lobby is airy and bright with a great bar The staff was so friendly and attentive And the location was perfect – we had fun exploring Culver City’s Art District, and then hopped in the car for a quick trip to Beverly Hills! It’s also very dog friendly – our pup was able to come to all our meals with us, and the staff are all dog lovers too!And speaking of meals, the food was awesome! We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Etta

They have a great, creative wine list with so many local wines The pastas were fantastic, and we’re still dreaming about the focaccia bread! Don’t miss the rooftop – the vibes are great, the drinks are top notch and the pancakes at breakfast stole the show!We will absolutely be back soon – what a perfect getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was perfect (a major mall is right across the street) and it was easy to get everywhere I wanted The staff were pleasant and eager to help out The breakfast was just alright nothing extraordinary but good enough to get you out of the door

The waiters seemed partial but I guess it must be nice to relate with someone who speaks your language The only con is that they had agreed to a late check out but called to get me out of my room before the agreed time I wasn’t comfortable with this but overall it was a nice place The gym is also well equipped so pack some workout gear if you can!

Cc Cort

Let’s start by saying not all front desk people had great customer service I only encountered two women that actually gave excellent customer service on Saturday afternoon, and I was able to chat with themUpon arrival when I was checking in the guy from front desk was telling us about the parking, happy hours and complimentary breakfast

So the next morning on Saturday I went down for breakfast little did I know it wasn’t complimentary I had already served myself so it was too late to not pay for it It was $1758, I asked the girl at the front desk about the breakfast and she was very rude ( well I don’t know why he would tell you that) I honestly didn’t find this worth the money The food was not good at all I wasn’t hungry for a (buffet) so it was a waste of moneyThe pool was ok nothing fancy The room is pretty small and getting in and out was hard there’s not much space The beds are super noisy … you do pay for parking daily which I wouldn’t mind paying when the hotel is amazing which it wasn’t…Our keys stop working the next day and they kept doing that the day after, so that was a bummer We had to keep going down to get that fixedThere’s nothing soundproof about this room I could hear everything outside and the top people were super loud around 3 am all the way through the day That was super annoyingOverall, I think the only good experience I had was the two front desk ladies that I was speaking to

T. Dinh

First time staying here and will definitely go back I felt very welcomed when I checked in and the front desk staff were so polite and friendly It wasn’t that forced kind of friendly either

The room was very cute and clean I was very happy to see they served real breakfast and not one of those grab and go bags It was a breakfast buffet with made to order omelets I had mine to go and there were no issues getting that boxed with a cup of OJ for the road I also felt appreciated as a Marriott member and already booked my next stay here for workIt is by the freeway so be sure to have earplugs (I always travel with some) so I did not have any problems with noise as some others have mentioned
