Pros: The location is great as there are so many businesses nearby including restaurants and grocery store The staff was pleasant and generally speaking, the room was clean and well appointedCons: I noticed that the bathroom didn’t seem to have been deep cleaned in a while (walls and the door needed a good wipe down)

Also, my room was a little noisy due to the location near the lobbyOverall, I would say I had a nice stay

M E

Great place to stay Very quiet and clean Love the overall aesthetics of the building

Staff was sweet and to the point They do not charge incidental deposits like many other hotels **Pool is closed** They do have breakfast: waffles with a variety of toppings like butter jelly peanut butter; fruit, cereal, grits, oatmeal, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice; a variety of creamer and sweeteners for the coffee and teasNice area Tons of restaurants grocery stores and fun things to do in the area Movie theater and bowling walking distance Next to 3 shopping plazas also walking distance Perfect family spotThey do allow pets tooOverall I enjoyed my stay I came to get away from my noisy neighbors at home This will be my new getaway spot for now

ALISA P

with filth, solicitation, smoke filled hall ways, pet hair in the elevator and halls I am going to share my experience with every outlet that I can The receptionist was so unprofessional

We asked for a full refund right after we checked in We had to get another room because the door would not close after opening Second room, the AC is not working Please believe that I am going to share this experience with everyone that I know The best that Wyndam can do is apologize? Your hotels are going to the dogs, crackheads and the use of the parking lot for illegal drug activities and solicitation

Stayed 3 nights for an Army graduation at Ft Benning Convenient location to Benning, downtown Columbus, Riverwalk, restaurants, groceries, and shopping

Safe and clean area Rooms were nice, clean, and had all we needed The staff was exceptional, attentive to all of our asks, and very friendly Nice little workout room and pool Nice little patio with tables, comfy chairs, and fire pit Breakfast was meh…but free (beggars can’t be choosers) Waffle House is close Our only real complaint was that the latch to the door of our bathroom was broken, so the door wouldn’t stay closed (it’s a pocket door that rolls open) My parents bathroom door latch was also broken and I bumped into another guest in the elevator with the same problem Once they fix their latch problem, it’s a great place to stay!

Jacqueline Peebles

Great customer service! Although I was unable to have the contact less check in, the staff was able to allow me to change rooms They were so sweet! They are in the process of renovating and all rooms had new couches and ottomans The moving was seamless and we were notified about the furniture upon check-in as well as by letter, left in the spacious room

Speaking of roomsrefrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and dishes!

Beautiful location, convenient to riverwalk and local white water raftingFront desk agent that checked us in was extremely unfriendly and didn’t tell us anything about the hotel or amenitiesOutdoor patio with enough comfortable seating for large parties

Room was clean aside from a soil on sofa, nice open walk in showers, but be careful, the water splashes out as there is no door Soft linens and comfy beds, as always!Small dog barked and whined in the room next to us from dusk until 10/11pm Called front desk, whom seemed confused about the complaint We never received another call or follow up about the matter Dog continued barking two more hours! It was a miserable evening and waste of our points to stay here! There are plenty of other options with similar accommodations in the area!Evening staff should be better trained in hospitality!

Molly Loch

Front desk clerk that said he is the manager wasn’t friendly NOT Warmth Not very welcoming

He didn’t listen to what was the issue The issue was when the room was booked that was told that we can check out at 3pm with no problem With no extra charge He didn’t honor Plus a value customer that travels a lot Now is a gold member won’t be using that location BC of the situation that can be fix with customer satisfaction

Paula D

I stayed here with my husband and we absolutely loved it , staff was amazing, always smiling and in a good mood !It’s so refreshing when you feel 100% satisfiedThe food and coffee was great too! Service was outstanding!

This was a great place to stay at!! Rooms are done very nicely and always clean; staff was always willing to help, friendly and professional; breakfast was great I loved the outdoor space outside with the pool and lounging area The front lobby was decorated in a manner that was inviting, modern yet funky, lots of places to sit around and hang out with friends & family

Overall I loved staying here for the 3 days I was in GA for my son’s Army Graduation If I go there again I’ll make sure to stay here

Alice Lewis

Booked 2 rooms for Army graduation location is excellent for the base Convenient distance to “downtown”

Main lobby had an “off” smell when we arrived (perhaps cleaning material?), but it was not noticeable any other time we were in lobby Rooms were excellent! Comfy beds and pillows (2 on the king bed-)Clean, equipped with microwave, silverware, large fridge (not under counter size usually found), toiletries etc I love the fact that rooms have new wood-look tile floors rather than carpet! Much cleaner than carpet!! Great bar-b-que in pool area Breakfast was perfect–variety of cereals, waffles, pancakes, pastries, eggs, Canadian bacon milk, juice etc Variety of coffee bar in the lobby all the time Staff is so friendly!

MARIA M

My family and I stayed there for two nights from 9/19/19 thru 9/21/19 We were in Columbus for my son’s graduation at Fort Benning It was less than 10 minutes from the base

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel I especially loved that the floors of the room were wooden/ laminated and not carpeted When I stay in other hotels I am always uncertain of how clean those carpets are So if you have allergies this is the place for you The entire room itself was clean and the bathroom was great Plenty of toiletries were available and replenished daily The kitchen in the room was a nice touch for those guests who prefer to cookBreakfast was tasty and they not only had a waffle maker, but also an automated pancake maker There was plenty of fruits, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, bread, pastries, oatmeal, and cereal Coffee was in the lobby at all times The front desk and breakfast staff were wonderfully polite and helpfulWe will definitely be back to stay at this hotel the next time we are in Columbus, GeorgiaThank you for a wonderful stay

The entire staff at this property went above and beyond to Insure any issues with the room or anything was taken care of We were treated like family I would highly suggest staying at this central location

There is a IHOP and a Texas roadhouse and a family dollar within walking distance and a McDonald’s next door This property and the staff will go to great lengths to insure your stay is completely stress freeoh and the fruit bowl is definitely divine

Sandralyn Dannelley

Room was adequate, the air conditioner was LOUD and smelled moldy (Ended up having to turn it off) The sink had a very noisy leak that one couldn’t shut off It was clean and the beds were comfortable

Mostly the price I was quoted was $35 MORE than I was told at check in I asked specifically and I was told the check in person was incorrect and there was nothing anyone could do

We were in town for our son’s Basic Training graduation Usually staying at an HIE is great Unfortunately, not this one

We stayed 2 nights Our sink in our room was clogged up They did have someone try to clear it, but it still wasn’t draining well Shower curtain had holes in it Bathroom floor was dirty Not a single trash can in the Hotel was emptied from the start to the finish of our stay Trash was sitting in bags or overflowing on to the floor at all of them No maid service between days Normally beds would be made and room cleaned each Day No fresh towels unless you asked for them for the second nightBacon at breakfast was barely cookedsausage was cold Just really not up to standard

Aaron

Stayed here on two different occasions when passing through It’s quiet, easy access to get back on the road the next morning They have a fenced in “pet area” but it’s got quite a bit of junk laying around inside the fence, so much so that I didn’t feel comfortable letting my dogs off their leashes, it could be cleaned up a bit and it would be a great amenity

Crystal, Kaneisha, Craig, their boss (I apologize for not getting her name), and the other staff members were all so nice & helpful! The rooms were clean & had sufficient supplies (towels, wash cloths, soap, tissue, paper towels, etc) If something were needed, there was no hesitation with providing the items And, the rooms have full-sized coffee pots, which was also a plus for us! In the middle of the night, we realized that the coffee pot in our room was defective & we were really going to need it the next morning (earlier than the start of hotel breakfast), so Craig brought us a brand new coffee pot after we shared our issue! Thank you all for making our visit memorable!

Stephanie ADKISSON

Very clean and comfortable Extended hit breakfast free Crystal at the front desk is a newer employee but was very very accommodating and friendly

The mattresses were some if the most comfortable we have ever slept on Beautiful pool atea Overall jyst a great experience (: i have managed a motel for the last 20 years and worked in the industry fir 40 Not the easiest to impress but definitely 5 stars here!

Amy Jeardeau

The room we had was really nice and accommodated our crew well The reason for 2 stars:1 Pool closed

This was not disclosed at any point during our check-in process The big reason we went with this hotel was because of the pool There was also a fire pit in the pool area but due to the pool being closed, we couldn’t use that amenity during our stay2 Not enough dishes in our 6 person suite3 It was not disclosed on check-in that we needed to put our towels in the hall in order tofresh ones as well as in order to get our garbage taken care of4 “Stuff” was found under a chair and in a dresser Cleaning wasn’t clearly completed very well5 Dirty irons Both irons in my room looked questionable as to if they would leave a residue of what ever was on the iron, on my garment I needed to ironWe spent a fair amount of money on this stay and these issues really frustrated us

My family and I are frequent guests whereas this is our go to hotel whenever we come back to Columbus to visit family After all these visits I can honestly say we have only ever had one issue with this hotel years ago The rooms are always clean (if sometimes a little damp feeling in the summer) and the staff is consistently pleasant, with the cleaning staff doing a great job at maintaining the rooms

Emily

Signs state there are short staffing issues, so perhaps that was the issue We arrived to the room which was propped open unlocked already The bathroom had hair on the counter and slight weird red splatters on the wall and door jamb (rust or worse?) The couch had some small stains visible

The bed had typical scratchy sheets and lumps, very small pillows on the King size The front desk was friendly The room did get adequately cold to sleep Wifi worked TV worked Fridge seemed to work fine

Danielle Armstrong

I really enjoyed my stay My family and I traveled from NC to Columbus for a Family Reunion and Best Western gave us the best stay The breakfast was great, the rooms was very clean, my children enjoyed the pool and fitness areaI would recommend this hotel to anyone that is in the area because when I come back to visit I will definitely be staying here

Thank you Best Western

The best Marriott property I’ve stayed at in a long while Awesome staff across the board Best breakfast (close to like home cooked meal)

Great variety and ambiance to top it all off Love the M lounge Across the street from the convention center, River Walk trails and University district but still a peaceful setting Historical district is evident throughout and the hotel incorporates that history very naturally while keeping a very modern feel I already stated it but it’s worth repeating The staff across the board felt like family (the good kind) and were professional, caring, and accommodating Stayed an extra night because we appreciated the staff

Can Can

Beautiful building, wonderful suites, comfortable beds, although a little too soft for me, and accommodating staff Easy check-in Great breakfast!I did have a couple issues like no hot water but that was handled within 24 hrs

Also all my lights went out as I was getting ready for a banquet That was handled right away

This hotel staff have made my home away from home in Columbus I travel often for work and have ample experience with different hotels and the staff here have always been the best From Sebastian, Fiona, Shay, to the lounge staff Ms Joyce and Ms Kia, they have always gone above and beyond

They are very understanding and will always make your stay pleasant and comfortable The restaurant on site is actually a good restaurant and worth the breakfast and dinner Although the hotel is near the train tracks the staff is well aware and provide earplugs for those who are sensitive to the noise The noise never bothered me, so you may not even notice the train passing through I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Columbus, it is in a perfect location in downtown and across the street from the river 10/10 I tried to leave this review on the Marriott website but they would not send me the link

Easy to get in and out of, once you find them back in the cut The first room they gave us smelled strongly of cigarette smoke My husband went to the front desk to request a different room, and the clerk actually came up with him to check the next room before we moved all our stuff into it

Deluxe continental breakfast – make your own Belgian waffles, along with the standard fare Rooms are a good size Shower and beds are great No bathroom fan They had four sets of bath linens though, which is rare these days We charged all our devices at once with the lamp charge Overall, a really good night’s sleep

Nightwalker The Charmer

This is my 3rd time staying at this location when I come to Columbus, the first two time I stayed the hotel was handle very nice and neatly But the last time I stayed was the worst The only good thing was the front desk manager cause she went out of her way to make my stay better

I saw the GM at the front desk and he stood there for about 30 min while I stood there IN FRONT OF HIMThe front desk manager came out and helped The GM was so VERY rude and nasty to me and my family and to the couple behind me when we tried to explain to him our problem This guy was the worst He tried not to give my full refund until I explain to him what my job was (he changed his mind) I took my money and left The family behind me did the same We BOTH went across the street We both said we would never stay there as long as he was running the place I’ve told all my friends/coworkers the same I’ll be back once he is gone Very Very Rude man

This is the place to stay if your in Columbus Georgia it smells so good when you walk in the door and then go to the rooms they are clean as a pin, the people who work there are great 👍 they treat you like family And the breakfast bar is great to they have plenty of food during the week and on weekends it’s like being at your granny’s Bacon and eggs and sausage and eggs and they don’t jurk it up before you can get some I love it

Glenn Leppo

I wish I had read the reviews instead of just looking at stars The place is clean, but VERY dated and worn out No draperies (empty track) and the black out curtains gap

I don’t think anyone wants to look, but they could if they were determined Carpet was shredded on the edge There was a bathtub When did they quit installing bathtubs in hotels? It was at least 20-30 years ago Bed was OK but a little soft for me Everything was actually OK (not great, old, but clean) so I ended up with 4 stars Be prepared for a worn out, but well tended room I haven’t interacted with staff or had breakfast yet, maybe that would make my day!

Jamil Fobbs

It’s location is hard to see from the street but go back far enough you cab see it past the other mistaken hotel before it The service was average but it was received well Our had a loud and noise air conditioning unit in our eoon and was just that

The continental breakfast was great so much to choose from and healthy Kids will have options as well and enjoy their breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rothschild- Pound House We stayed in the Governor Forsyth suite which was quite unusual and special The jacuzzi was wonderful, we loved that kitty soap, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! We appreciated how responsive Mamie, the owner, was to our needs and how she worked with us to address any concerns that came up

She is currently in the process of remodeling the main house so you might be aware that there is not a full breakfast at this time However, she gave us the choice of a continental breakfast or a voucher to go buy breakfast on our own Thank you, Mamie, for sharing your lovely home with us We hope to come again

Josh East

We go married here and the experience was absolutely beyond what we ever expected The venue, the experience, the food, the staff and everything was amazing Mamie was so helpful and made sure that everything went off without a hitch

She made everything so easy for us and with a blended family of 6, we were able to have a perfect wedding without all the stress thanks to her

Peter Delia

Our experience was a mixed bag We arrived to the B&B a bit early, and we were told the room wasn’t quite ready, which was fine It still wasn’t ready almost 40 minutes after our check-in time, but we did finally get the key

The room itself was pleasant enough, but there were no trash cans and no pillowcases on the bed We were told we’d get the pillowcases, but I had to call at 8 PM otherwise we probably wouldn’t have had them The most frustrating part of our visit was the fact that we were told nothing about breakfast and we couldn’t get into the main house or reach our host to ask about it I called pretty consistently from about 8:30 AM through 10:30 AM and got voicemail each time The suite we stayed in was very comfortable, and our host did try to give us recommendations and make our stay more enjoyable, there was just a lack of communication that made the experience less enjoyable

Everyone was so very friendly, from the managers, front desk, housekeepers, cook, bartenders, and even the guest we ran into The room was excellent!!! We called down for extra blankets, front desk was very helpful I have never stayed at a hotel that was professional in their work and made us feel A1 Special

You guys Rock!! You deserve more than a 5thank you for making our stay memorable and loved

Jdeo B

Great hotel for its star category The employees were very friendly and hospitable Everything was clean and neat in the room

It’s not a luxury hotel; but AC hotels aren’t expected to be Its a modern, minimalist, clean place ro rest The location is right in the middle of downtown Columbus I would definitely stay here again when in the area Loved the espresso bar in the lobby!

Kevin Rene

Great location, convenient to everything you could want on a short stay uptown AC has a very beautiful lounge and lobby!See bottom half for horrible room review Housekeeping service is certainly lacking

Way overpriced for the quality of room you get! $250/night (See pics)The bartender at the lounge named Bailey is phenomenal, she is the only reason we’re giving the hotel two stars instead of one, she deserves all five!!! There is plenty of lounge and bar seating, drinks are made to perfection, she’s a great mixologist and such a sweet girl! If your local or out of town stop by, the drinks won’t disappoint! They also serve snacks, a few entrees, and dessert in the evenings, no tvs in the bar area, just a “digital screen” They also have a small amount of outdoor seatingWe travel 365 days a year and have stayed at some really nice and really not so nice places I would rate the room itself in the bottom ten percent right in line with some lower end hotels that are fifty bucks a night! The quality and standard we are accustomed to at Marriott is not present here We stayed in room 525 which was supposed to be a room upgrade 😬, what a disappointment For a hotel that’s only been open a little over a year, 🤢At first glance there were dust and smears on windows and mirror surfaces, upon further inspection and over the course of three days/two nights we found the following;*hairs on walk in shower floor before we used it*wall paper is coming off and stained in various places*paint/glue on the floors and furnishings*vinyl flooring damaged/coming up*window and headboard have thick layer of dust*fridge had wet reused coasters in it*white substance on the bathroom wallpaper along with soils on the wall by the toilet with damaged wall paper*Dusty coffee table*Greasy smears on mirrored surfaces*Low quality linens from bath towels to beddingThere are a few other Marriott options that are close, although I don’t see us staying at another Ram managed property, as this is our second stay at one of their properties in town that has been less than pleasant!

This was the dirtiest hotel I have every stayed in I am a Hilton Diamond level member so am used to clean rooms with good service but this hotel should be condemned and completely renovated There were water stains in ceiling, mold and mildew around shower tiles, air conditioning was not working in hallways in early July and water stained lamp shades on every lamp in my room

The staff were some of the nicest and most professional hotel staff we had ever encountered but this hotel should not be housing guests in its current condition

The beds are torture devices Easily the worst, most uncomfortable bed in all of our travels, and cut off steel rods sticking out from the bed frame cutting our legs just to get in and out of bed normally Black & red mold in the shower and ceiling

Wallpaper and popcorn ceiling coming off because there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom Bathroom vanity wood cracking and peeling off from so much water damage Check out is at noon, but housekeeping will most definitely bang on your door and attempt entry at 9:30 am, unannounced and unrequested If you want a diet drink, bring your own because the only non-sugar drinks there are water and Diet Dr Pepper Absolutely awful stay This is a Hilton property!!! I’ve had better comfort and cleanliness at cheap roadside motels Literally

My 1st visit here Josh checked me into my room and his personality was so refreshing and extremely pleasant He checked on us each time he saw us

Monique was hilarious and really fun The room was ok but only had like 2 outlets The beds were suppose to be Queen size but looked like Full size It’s a great location for shopping and restaurants!!!

Very nice, the rooms were spotless The in house dining was lovely A big shout out to Ashley (front desk) and Emily (restaurant manger) for their assistance

The hotel is conveniently located in uptown/downtown Columbus, one can easily walk to all locations in the area without driving I would strongly advise purchasing the valet package if staying for the weekend and giving the valet’s at least 30 min notice when checking out as checkouts on Sunday get pretty busy

I have visited Hotel Indigo previously for events at the rooftop bar, but I stayed there for one night on 5/20 The room was impeccably clean and had no signs of wear and tear–it felt more like a cute studio apartment than a hotel room The view of the river from our room was lovely

The rooftop bar is a great place to get a good drink and enjoy the river view Location is great and you can walk easily through Uptown ColumbusBut where Hotel Indigo really got me to write a review was for their customer service Everyone from the valet staff to front desk to housekeeping were truly excellent I left a white shirt in the room and only noticed it after we had already checked out I called the front desk the next day and they had found my shirt! I hardly ever misplace or forget items in hotel rooms, but these things happen to the best of us In previous experiences they have never found my lost item Not only did they find my shirt, but they had it boxed up and ready to send to me Desirae, if you are reading this, thank you for your attention to detail! I was expecting not to see that shirt again I will happily rebook at this location whenever I am in need of a staycation getaway Thank you!
