No real complaints except shelving in the shower area would be nice Other than this slight cosmetic oversight, my stay was good The room was spacious, clean and fully stocked

Housekeeping was very nice and attentive The lady at the front desk who checked us in, was also very nice, polite and attentive The breakfast was delicious and I was very pleased to see an meat alternative to pork; turkey sausage patties This was a great choice!

celeste graham

I and my guests had a very good time during my overnight stay It was my birthday and we were celebrating with a pajama party I made the mistake of leaving my carry case in the bathroom with all of my personals in it

And the sweet lady at the front desk went and secured it for me If I had to stay there again I would do it no matter what the cost It’s a great place atmosphere is easy and the food’s not too bad either

Night of 12/21/21Bugs bugs bugs!Very unfortunate, hotel staff were nice, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, hotel was very nice and well-kept EXCEPT: for all the BUGS on the walls and ceiling in our room Creepy Crawley feeling all night long

When I explain this to the lady at the desk in the morning told her I would’ve left except my wife and I with two dogs were exhausted from traveling over 800 miles She tried telling me they can’t do anything about the bugs because they aren’t allowed to kill them I call BS on that For the money we paid for one night stay we should not of had to put up with bugs like this The girl at the desk made no attempt to apologize or make any adjustments to the price Therefore we will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone out there I keep my dogs in better surroundings than thisI sent an email to the management and requested a reply, no one has gotten back to me which This tells me they don’t really care to resolve this issue Do not stay here until they cure this problem Very unfortunate this could be a very nice stop otherwiseVery disgusted customer

False Advertising and Car Break-ins Thoroughly unsatisfied with our time at this hotel We got pulled over by the cops in the middle of the night after turning into the hotel because they’re running suppression to scare away car thieves

Apparently the area is so unsafe, it requires three cop cars to have their lights on all night Room on the website said it included a breakfast buffet: false advertising We were directed to an overpriced Starbucks for breakfast Honestly for rooms > $180, I expected more Even the cheap hotels have a small breakfast included in the price Rooms were dry, soap bars were left in the shower, and tissue paper ran out immediatelyStay away Would not recommend, keep driving and go somewhere else

Really nice hotel by Marriott They usually areBut just a little bit of environmental story telling in the room I staying in got to me

See the attached picture and how apparent people miss the toilet so much its able to discolor the wall paper behind the toilet Just can’t stop looking at itWas otherwise here for just a short stay passing through over night Stayed on the first floor

The only thing that may be worse than the smell of weed everywhere, is the smell of hotel scents applied everywhere, to cover up the weed smell everywhereMy room could have benefited from a slight remodel also The Bathrooms are a little obsolete

I gave them an extra star, because I’m an Ambassador Elite and the young lady at the desk that checked us in actually sang Happy Birthday to me! We checked in after midnight, so I KNOW she meant it 😂She was easily the best part of my experience God Bless her 🙏🏽

No bananas at breakfast They have a laundry room, but the front desk doesn’t have quarters Machines only take quarters, so this can be very inconvenient

Room was given a 2*, but it was clean Beds are very stiff and hard Very much like the bigger bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower More towels needed in the room for a family without the need of asking Location of the hotel is good Very close to downtown Acworth, which is worth the drive into town Plenty of fast-food around the hotel makes for a convenient stay

Kim Brown

We stayed here 5 nights 3 out of 5 we were without air condition Maintenance came to fix it it was still hot in room

Never cooled off Front desk brought a fan When we complained for 3rd time front desk he rubbed his head and said he couldn’t deal with us We were finally moved into a new room where air conditioner was working Horrible 3 nights

Keith McClure

This was absolutely the nastiest Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at If it wasn’t for getting in so late and everyone around us booked We wouldn’t have stayed but didn’t have a choice

No linens available due to being sold out? Was lied to by the manger about being moved from a double bed to king Then didn’t have any pillows or adequate linens When bringing it to the mangers attention he first stated that the hotel couldn’t give me a double because I booked with a Marriott agent vs his hotel Then he came to our room at 11pm to say that they called my wife and she agreed to the upgrade to a king Funny thing is she was in the bathroom hearing this and came out and was like no you didn’t She doesn’t even have anything to do with my Bonvoy account as it’s typically used for my company use only To top it off the room was gross

Everything went smoothly checking in and out The staff was friendly and helpful It was clean and comfortable

I noticed the tub had a bath mat and a hand rail I appreciate this a lot Although it was just me this time, features like that make for a safe experience for elderly people like my parents who aren’t disabled but are at greater risk of falling Having features like this can make rooms with full disability accommodation more available for those that really need them

Jermaine Bartow

We booked this hotel for 6 nights The room was cleaned only 1 day during our stay The toilet wasn’t working and we saw a room attendant on the floor we were

I told her about the toilet, and she handed me a plunger to use I reported the room not getting clean and I was told that I have to request that the room be clean Even when I did that, it got cleaned 1 day The dehumidifier went out and the light came in that says -empty- I reported it and nothing was done Because the room was not cleaned we had no wash rags nor towels I had to use my undergarment as wash cloth It’s sad knowing how much we paid for our stay I’m never staying here again!

Brittany washington

The good: The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful Has a pool but it’s outsideThe bad: This hotel is very very old

Website said that rooms have fridge and microwave Our room had a tiny fridge with no microwave When we asked if we could get a microwave for our room we were told only about 30% of the rooms have them We had to go down the lobby from the 4th floor to warm up food The chairs had huge white spots on them so couldn’t sit at the desk to work The ice machine was broken so had to go to the first floor to get ice This hotel desperately needs maintenance and to be updated The breakfast wasn’t good The first day sausage and these weird tasting eggs Second day bacon and cheesy eggs they ran out of bacon If this wasn’t the hotel that the rest of our family was staying at we would have left immediately The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the staff

The hotel is nice Clean The staff was great, amenities were great as well

The problem is the Manager Kim will look for any way to charge you extra and unwilling to work with you I travel for work and have stayed at Holiday Inn’s for the past 2 years Other places have worked with me on rates and understood if I had to arrive late or leave early Not here Reading other reviews about the Manager, I’d have to believe them Our Company has decided not to use Holiday Inn any more, we have switched to Marriott, much nicer and the management really works with our company

Shazmin Gainer

The tub filled up while I was in the shower as if there is so much hair and gunk in the drain 🤮 ! The most nasty feeling ever having dirty water up to my toddlers legs! Towels had someones fine hair in them , had a cigarette smell in a nonsmoking room If I could’ve gotten a refund I would’ve! I’ve never been to a holiday inn Express in this condition inside the rooms , the lobby is the only nice area Check in was easy though

James Wernicke

A nice HIE with clean and comfortable rooms Good breakfast and of course those cinnamon rolls that my wife loves We were able to park our car and trailer where it was visible from the room which made us sleep better

There is a asian buffet and Cracker Barrel across the street The pool was not well decorated and very plain The biggest negative is the number of Holiday Inn Express labeled as Atlanta West I have had a similar problemwith a Hilton in Jackson MS and Jackson TN which caused me to go to the wrong hotel The wife left here phone charger when we left in the morning and we called and they had found it and we were able to pcik it up That was appreciated since iPhone chargers are pricey

Listen, everyone has good days and bad and when you deal with short trysts ala “Pretty woman” every encounter will be differentMe, I went full Sugar daddy on this place and spent 2 months here When I started our “nightly rendezvous” I was but a mere Wood 5 member

At the end of our short-but-sweet relationship and I became a Gold 1 man That’s to say, I stayed herea lotThese folks are Excellent, sure mistakes happen but overall they hustled hard to get everyone situated, accommodated, and sometimes inebriated The GM is one of the hardest working personnel I’ve ever met and the staff is incredibly friendly and hard working! They try their best to make sure stuff gets done so if they can’t make it happen, there is a reason Please be patient, you will live longerThey are especially accommodating for traveling workers and they love us Nurses! Is there a cheaper place to stay? Maybe, but they made sure I came back every timeIf I’m ever in the area for any length of time, I’ll give you one guess on where I’ll be staying, cause that’s all you will need!

Steve Cadenhead

For hotels in this category, this one does well The appearance is relatively fresh and modern The rooms have been updated and have such amenities as USB chargers scattered about

The one thing that needs upgrading is the air conditioning system The unit in the room is unreasonably loud when it kicks in Beyond that, the room was good The included breakfast rotates daily and includes something for nearly everyone The overall setting is clean and pleasant and I recommend it for someone looking for something in this category and in this neighborhood

jayzvz jayzvz

I was going to rent a room here, but my pregnant wife needed to use the restroom while I checked us in The restroom was locked so I went to the front desk and asked for the key She said was I a guest and I said not yet, so she said I couldn’t let my wife use the public restroom there

I said, I’m checking in She still said she can’t until I checked in first We’re going somewhere else I don’t care how good it’s ranked No humanity

Nice hotel overall in a convenient location for a quick anniversary weekend The lobby and outdoor areas are nice but I noticed right away it could use new carpet in several areas The king whirlpool suite was a nice size room and the bed was comfy

We are not small people so the size of the whirlpool was a little small for us but it was nice The jets in the tub weren’t quite as strong as I would have liked but it was nice having the private hot tub I didn’t like that the knob for the hot tub was on the opposite wall as the tub so after 30 minutes you’re sitting relaxing and then it just stops but no one wants to get up to turn it back on, lol My husband thinks the place could’ve used some updating but overall it was a decent hotel

Tamara Duck Adams

The staff was friendly and pretty fantastic! My room was clean, as was the rest of the establishment I looked at a few hotels in the area, when making my decision on where to stay Other hotels were less expensive, but I chose this one because of the hot tub

The hot tub left much to be desired It wasn’t hot My bath water is far warmer and the jets are very weak The swimming pool was actually much better But sadly the weird music the hotel had blaring in the public areas made it impossible to enjoy the area

Mark Fabian

Normally, my stays here are without issuing And this last time really was no different The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable

The restaurant had a nice selection of food items as well as beveragesUnfortunately, the room that I did stay in was showing signs of meeting to be refurbished

Very nice stay! Breakfast was Sausage and mini cheese omelettes, bagels, coffee, cereal etc… This hotel is located in an area where you can walk to various stores, restaurants, movies and a bank It’s off the main road so I didn’t hear any traffic It’s was nice and quiet

Me and my kids just left here after a 4 day stay!! #1 this hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in the room was clean to perfection, not only that the room and hallways smelled so good! #2 breakfast staff and breakfast it self was amazing!! Everything is self serve but it was amazing! If you have left something or even need a drink or something to snack on the little store has everything and when I mean everything I mean it Hotel staff was amazing we visited here spring break and weather was all over the place so pool was closed also you about 20 min from downtown Atlanta where all the tractions and Georgia aquarium is, but for the most part I will come back to this very hotel it’s worth every penny!

Bruce Blackmon

Nice looking place but service is lacking, we stayed 4 nights and our room never got cleaned and restocked even though we ask, we had to change our towels, take care of the trash etc The room has a small fridge and microwave with a small sink area, mattress was very firm and pillows were too flat so sleeping was difficult We enjoyed the breakfast for the most part, it was average hotel fare

They don’t have any hand towels which I thought was odd so we used washcloth as a hand towels Parking lot is in good condition and convenient, landscaping is very well done, pool is small and was overcrowded when we tried it

Xander Cheney

First stay here was alright Room was massive and comfortable Bathroom floor was dirty

Cleaned up what looked like pee from in front of the toilet… Gross Second stay I asked the front counter for Clorox wipes, just in case And they had them Didn’t really need them though But it made me feel better Now, the second stay is not near as good The AC only turns on when it wants to… the first room, if I got hot Which I very easily do I turned on the AC No problem This one though, is controlled by an older Amana thermostat And when you make a change, it says “wait” for about 5 minutes Won’t do anything This is an overall good hotel But a three star rating is about to best it’ll get for now Also, there was hair from the last person still in the bathroom I threw away two stands before even thinking about taking a picture for the review

Greg Snyder

Made a reservation weeks in advance, and arrived at 6:30pm to learn that no rooms were available We were told that there were 20 dirty rooms and only 2 employees No timeframe was given

Had a hungry family with nowhere to go Was refused a refund (even though they failed their own reservation)!Absolutely unacceptable I’m encouraging no one to ever stay at this (or any) Home2Suites Amazingly poor customer service They literally don’t care about you or your family They literally could not care less

Chris Poythress

Had to move rooms 3 times, and should’ve been more, but we sucked it up In our first room, our couch was messed up and wouldn’t fold out properly In our second room, the bath tub started flooding profusely when we turned on the shower head

In the third room, again couch was messed up, but at least the shower worked!! On our morning of breakfast, there was almost no accommodations available, not nearly enough seating, and subpar breakfast that’s barely warm I’ll be asking for a refund, and will not recommend these rooms to anyone You’re essentially forced into Valet by there being almost no parking reasonably priced nearby 0/10

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Ackworth (GA) on the evening of Feb 15, 2022 I booked online while we were on I-75, a few minutes prior to arrival The first impression – the wonderful lady at the front desk – was cause for celebration

It’s so rare these days to find someone who is so NICE, and so engaged with a customer, and so competent and helpful Then, we got up to our room – which was wonderfully clean and perfect, so that was a win Our departure was as good as our arrival, thanks to the morning shift person at the front desk She was equally NICE, engaged, and helpful Top-notch stay, made excellent by the excellent people this company chose to represent their hotel

Laura

I secured an early check in online and picked the room I wanted After all, that’s one of the reasons I choose Hampton I love that perk

I get to the hotel at 4:00 Check in time starts at 3 Emma, at the front desk, gave me some attitude when I commented on the sign that states the hotel is not responsible for injury or death if anyone visiting the premises dies from COVID She suggested that I must not have stayed at a hotel for awhile She added that all hotels have this sign I stayed at a hotel the night before and did not see a warning sign like this oneSo, I give Emma my name and said I had already checked in and picked out a room She very rudely told me the room I picked isn’t ready She said there was another room that was cleaned and ready Now why wouldn’t they clean a room that was chosen by a guest before arrival before cleaning others that have not been held for occupancy She also informed me digital check in and keyless entry aren’t working due to computer outages That’s fine but her delivery was not the warm and welcoming Hampton promise I just drove 8 hours straight and being treated like this was not the hospitality I have been used to at any stay from brand hotel in the past My evening was completely ruined in less than 2 minutesOne of the elevators was not working which made for a long wait to get to my roomThe woman and man behind the front desk in the morning were very niceI realize help is hard to find and management is at the mercy of their employees I also realize I have the freedom to take my business elsewhereTwo of the main reason I choose Hilton I can guarantee that on my way back home, I will take a pass on Acworth Hampton

Joshua Finley

I DONT leave bad reviews often/ever however this is the exception I rented the room to take a shower because my hot water heater went out They quoted me $120 then when they charged my card, They charged me $236 60

I didn’t even stay there 1hr to use anything except the shower and 2 towels Completely scrupulous people running the establishment! I tried to discuss my concerns with the error and the black lady who was the manager kept cutting me off/talking over me Showed 0 concern for the error on their part! I do hope that she realizes very soon You cannot treat good customers that way and be successful! I truly hope she finds her happiness however, its NOT managing a hotel

Overall the stay was fine For a newer facility the rooms are showing wear already After checking in and going to my room I do my usual scan and noticed that my bathroom was not cleaned

Even though it had fresh towels the shower floor was dirty and there was something sticky on the floor I requested a new room and the hotel staff was nice and accommodated the change The next room was a little better but the shower was again dirty I was tired of lugging my things so I stayed in the room I was concerned about the petri dish light fixtures in the entrance but for one night I just dealt with it Ok for a quick stay but I wouldn’t bring my kids here

Lashana Reynolds

We booked a room for honeymoon night before our flight The day before my husband went to check on the room! They told him “someone” called & cancelled our reservations Funny thing is that no one knew about our reservations, WE didn’t call to cancel them, neither did we receive an email saying it was cancelled

They almost ruined our wedding night, the hotel themselves had cancelled our reservations because no one else had our reservation number but us & them I strongly recommend you to find somewhere else to stay than here, thank God my husband checked the day before, we were able to get us a room in Carrollton before our flight left in the morning to our honeymoon destination

We had a great stay here! The campground is small and cozy with some great sites! The playground was great and our 3 kids enjoyed it The Duck Race was the biggest hit! Jon, the camp host, showed us to our site and was super nice The campground was so quiet and the lack of traffic was refreshing! Dump station was easily accessible and clean, great water pressure on the hose too! Bathhouse was clean and roomy

Roads are good sized and paved, sites are gravel and well leveled We will definitely return to this spot!

We call the number and an older woman answers and says a text was sent and it says delivered on her end so we MUST have received it She would not believe we did not receive the text and argued that the gate code was sent via text We’re sitting at the locked gate with no code so we obviously do not have it She finally relents and reads us the text but will not resend or tell us what number it was sent to We get to our site and it is extremely hard to back into due to tree stumps and picnic table at the site The camp host helped us guide our trailer on, he was very kind and helpful Playground is from 1970’s? Small and run down with a surprisingly large amount of trash strewn about The duck race pumps were mostly broken Two out of the eight worked so we had fun with those There was a slack line setup and my littles enjoyed it The bathhouse was closed the entire time we were there (6pm-8am) with no reason why Our sites fire pit had around 50 cigarette butts in it and several paper towels with brown substance on them so that was very off putting to see

Not suited for tent camping at all If you dont mind being shoulder to shoulder with the next RV and like a very community setting, this is the place for you It is a little hard to find, but a nice adventure

It seems quaint and clean enoughI would suggest adding pictures of each campsite on the website so that prospective campers know what to expect

Quick check in Friendly front desk clerk Clean comfortable room

Given room 120 right around the corner from the lobby Noisy I heard the speaker phone conversation of the front desk clerk into the night Two little barking dogs in the nextdoor room finally settled down I could hear their loud TV into the night The hallway echoes any sound Other than that Just fine

The front desk attendant went above and beyond with our late night check last night I was traveling with my disabled parent He made sure she had everything she needed, helped with getting her onto the elevator and offered her a few snacks and water, with her being diabetic

Props to you sir!The room was clean and taken care of, we will now plan to stay here on our trips from Kansas City to SC/GA
