This hotel is so beautiful and unique art everywhere It has style and creative genius from the artist throughout the hotel The art is uniquely a time piece from Mary Monroe days

Today the front clerk wasn’t that friendly when we checked in and could have left a bad taste in my mouth however; a staff member named David was extremely kind and courteous to show us the entire hotel resort He was patience, great energy, knowledgeable of the history of the hotel He was tired from a long day but took time to help us explore the hotel I will recommend this hotel more than any other hotel Thank you David for making me only wanting to stay at the Lorenzo when I visit DallasProsThe pool closes at 11pmRestaurant inside the hotelHotel decor is modernLocation is 10 mins or less from downtownDecor is phenomenalPricing is reasonable

The bartender was friendly, food was quick, and parking was easy Highly recommended

The Fairmont was amazing From our arrival, we were treated like VIP Valet helped us out of the car and with our luggage

The luggage was promptly brought to our room and unloaded We were brought ice as well We were taken by the shuttle service long as it was within 2 miles The pool was relaxing and really nice The staff was very attentive Room was very clean and had comfortable beds Again upon leaving, valet loaded up our luggage and couldn’t be nicer We will definitely stay here again

Vic Vic

I was setting up a wedding reception The staff seemed decent, if you’re a private vendor the kitchen staff can be upsetting but some were okay Other contractors had a more negative experience but for the most part the overall experience was a 4

They do have nice rooms where they host very nice extravagant parties and such If i was here for leisure and for business I would hope to rate better than a 5 but until I can afford to have a all out party in one of there rooms it will only get a 3 star And they do have valet parking or 7 dollar parking a 4 min walk around the corner They have Starbucks inside, a souvenir shop in side, a snickers Is 4 bucks Bottle of soda 6 bucks Deodorant 6 bucks for small But its conveniently made available and in stock

Brian Johnson

Just had a fabulous 4 nights family stay at the Fairmont Dallas It’s brilliantly located for a lot of attractions in both the Downtown and Historical West End areasThe staff are very friendly and professional, absolutely Brilliant

Special mention to Alania, Briana and all the Valet Parking team, all brilliant !!!The rooms are great, clean and beds very comfy We also went to the pool a few times and had a few meals in the Pyramid Restaurant Again the service was amazing We would definitely recommend this hotel, 5 Stars, easily !!!

We give five stars for several reasonsThis was a nice hotel with a very inviting lobby and a good clean room For Father’s Day weekend everybody else in town was jacking up their prices

The Marriott Las Colinas did not The hotel is walking distance from the Toyota Music Factory and a large number of restaurants We paid an extra $14 to get a room with a view of the lake This was absolutely worth it, the view is beautiful THE ONLY ISSUE: we wish they had better pool hours The pool was only available from 10:00 am to 10:00 pmWe arrived at 5:00 pm, went to dinner and then went out for the evening and got back to the hotel at 11:00 pmWe have a brunch that we have to be at this morning at 11:00 am so we did not get to swim This is a minor detail So with all the good points, we’re comfortable giving five stars

J J

The hotel is very modern and clean, the staff is very accommodating, including the bar staff, staying open later for our group to enjoy a few drinks The meeting venues were very comfortable The rooms are very comfortable but a little too sterile for my tastes

Too much white, the rooms need some color I don’t frequent Marriott properties, but the stay was enjoyable and I recommend the hotel There is also a great selection of dining and activities within walking distance

I have been coming here for years If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let downAmazing customer centric experience Very clean hotel Went above and beyond and upgraded our rooms, as we were the bride’s family and had the wedding reception at Westin too Quickly and professionally resolved issues with door keys We’ll be back at Westin soon!

Albert Martinez

The bathrooms had the rain shower head which was a nice perk and the beds were firm but comfortable with the down feathered weighted blankets and pillows No microwave in room but available upon request The look had a modern style to it but I rate this a 3 because I reserved and paid in full before arriving for a 1 king-size bed only to find out they didn’t reserve my room

They gave me a double full bed room so I had to change my sleeping arrangements The staff didn’t seem to care, the overall attitude was too bad so sad, you are SOL and amenities were under construction

TyQuan Ware

Lara Harvey

The stay was okay I think I’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times I love the balcony rooms’ lake view

There aren’t any lights on the balcony so at night you can’t see anything The lights are dim in the room and the light on the vanity mirrors do not work Checked in and I only had 1/4 of fissure left on the roll and no extra tissue in the room I give this hotel a 6 maybe 7 of of 10 Oh the cookies are always great I hope this review was helpful

Amy Plumb

Far exceeded my expectations Check in was easy, the room we stayed in was exceptionally clean It may have been one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in at least during the pandemic, if not in the years prior

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful The stay was quiet even though we had a parking lot facing room The bed was like sleeping on a puffy cloud! The location was perfect for our needs of getting into and out of DFW and Uptown Dallas

Tammina Ford (Mrs Ford)

The shower, bed, and location was great, but – I did not like that the staff got my room confused with another I did not like that someone tried to come into our room in the middle of the night with a keep it’s with a key card and if our door was not locked they would have walked in on me and my family I did not like the poor communication received from staff regarding this mishap

I did not like the lack of resolve regarding this situation I did not like having a charge attempted to my credit card for a no show when we arrived at the scheduled time of our reservation I did not like the interruptions such as being locked out of our room and the knock of housekeeping asking us if we were leaving I did not like how my special request notes were not honored (room for 4 required additional blankets, towels, and 2 beds)! I do not like how the situation was handled and how the manager told me that this same thing could have happened at any other hotel I did not like how the pool was freezing in spite of the very hot temperatures outside Our toes were literally numb and everyone’s teeth were chattering Lastly I did not like my overall experience at such a renowned hotel I hand picked this location because I expected so much more I am disappointed and heartbroken I wish more could have been done to comfort my family Instead we just had to mustard it up and make the best out of it because it was my son’s state tournament

Brittney Hall

Our stay during graduation and Memorial Day weekend was very pleasant I have no major complaints or issues with the Hotel or my stay The only thing I noticed was cleaning could be better in total with linen, etc

, some minor paint touch ups would be beneficial to the hotel as wellComplimentary breakfast was great! So pleased with the many different options and stations that does not limit guest to the typical minimal pork/beacon options The property is well kept and they have great professionals working the counter Very pleased with Dquaveaon’s hospitality and professionalism throughout our whole stay We will definitely keep this location in mind when visiting again(4 stars for simple linen “issues”)

Jenise Zuidema

I knew I was going to be living in an extended-stay hotel for several months due to a home remediation, and I am beyond thankful that I picked this Element! The front desk staff is warmly welcoming, and goes above and beyond to be helpful The cleaning team is friendly and thorough The real star of the show, though, has been the kitchen/breakfast staff – she truly has the gift of hospitality, and does a fantastic job keeping up with the morning rush while cooking delicious, healthy food and fostering a special sense of community for guests all at the same time

I’m sure going to miss this place when I move back into my house!

Kat Vega

My room was a mini suite on the 2nd floor I am a bit of a neat freak and felt comfortable in it It seems, at least when I was there, it was on the flight path for the airport 🛫 A hospital is very near and sirens are loud

None of this bothers me but if you are a super light sleeper I advise ear plugsThe staff were amazing, very friendly and gave good recommendations for places to see/try Breakfast was included and I overheard it is quite good I only had time for coffee and a muffin, both if which were decentI would definitely stay with them again

Incredible views, nicely kept stellar rooms, glass elevators, dining and more will be found here at this beautiful downtown Dallas location We stayed in room 1056 which has beautiful views of the city during the day, and the coolest lit hotels at night! The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel The atrium leading down to the Texas Star is a site to see

Our room was clean and the restrooms were freshly caulked Rooms contain an iron, refrigerator, and hand held driers A microwave can be found downstairs, but are not in individual rooms The mirrors and lights are beautiful and provide indirect lighting for each guest room The Reunion Tower is gorgeous to view or to go up into and see the best views in Dallas, especially at night This hotel offers a variety of conference rooms for all kinds of meetings and events From ballrooms to basic meeting rooms this hotel has it all Beautiful lights and chandeliers are seen around this hotel Certainly worth a visit Up to date and beautiful hotel

AJ H

This is by far my worst hotel experience The hotel may sit in downtown but there are no restaurants, shops, etc located around the hotel

It sits off in its own little corner Part of the excitement and appeal to staying downtown was the access to explore My fault on choosing this locationSecondly, I paid a large amount to valet only to wait forever for access to my vehicle Ultimately, I had to ask for my keys and go get my own car Now, understand the expense of self-parking vs valet is not a huge difference so why not benefit from valet The room service was not accessible, as neededThirdly, the room is old and furniture is worn Items are not clean The list could go on After a long day of traveling this is not what I wanted to walk in to Overall, I will not return to this hotel One stay is more than enough!

Elmer Boutin

I stayed at the Hyatt for an event that was being held at the hotel It was mostly quite positive with one negativeFirst the good: The people were wonderful and very helpful

There was a nice variety of restaurants, and even the food choices at the event were very good The rooms were quite nice, very clean and had a great view to the south overlooking the freeways (which I prefer to just looking at buildings) The HVAC system was pretty good, keeping the room cool There was also plenty of hot waterOne downside to the rooms: The vinyl covering around the bed frames and on the walls above the beds were dry rotted and flaking Every night before bed I had to sweep the flakes of vinyl that were all over the nicely made bed That really detracted from my experience I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for that

I would like to thank the staff for making my 3 day staff a pleasant one Very attentive, courteous, thoughtful even a thank you Diana that took care of our breakfast in the morning before a long day that was before us To a clean relaxing room at night

A convenient location near restaurants and Walmart To the shuttle bus drivers that was careful with there cargo as they transported us to and from the hotel I definitely recommend this hotel as far as Security in the parking lot I cannot speak for that since I did not have a vehicle here

Belt Line

The room I had was nice However the front desk is rude and acts like they can’t speak When I would call the front desk from my room if I needed something, the lady would sound impatient and huff and puff and slam the phone

If you don’t know how to service people then quit working in customer service I cannot stand people with stank attitudes especially when I’m always polite I didn’t like the room they put me in because the TV had a big black line on the left side, looks like the previous guest punched it or something Housekeeping did not line the trash bins my second night They didn’t even clean my shower They left dark spots on the shower floor It’s beautiful on the outside but it is a very rachet hotel I would only stay here again if the staff was replaced and had better service

Romario Pedraza

A great place in Desoto Not so bad for a late booking from priceline The hotel does offer breakfast a full breakfast waffles, eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy

Enjoyed the stay was very comfy The room looked great but the halls smelled kinda odd The hotel looks high end The room we where assigned the door was really hard to get open Maybe because of the weather it set different but it was stuck you really had to pull on it Showers and bathrooms are nice Bed and pillows where comfy I would not mind picking this hotel again Was close to a Walmart that I really needed to go to in the morning Also places to eat as well so really do recommend

Superb hotel experience The one bedroom apartment we rented was clean, updated, spacious and modern The views of Dallas were amazing as were the amenities

Do not be put off by the initial check in on line It was out of the ordinary, but incredibly efficient Once you check in a day or two prior to arrival you will receive a text when your room is ready on the day along with a code to enter the building and room All went according to instructions We never saw any staff, but they were always there via text when we needed anything or had questions We received responses immediately and they were very helpful with recommendations for area We would stay at the Guild again in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone

Melanie Petersen

The room is very roomy with a washer and dryer Bed is very comfortable and the shower is awesome

room for two 🙂 It was a very secured building including it being staffed until the late late night The staff downstairs was extremely helpful and made the stay even better Wish there was a swimming pool, but other than that the amenities were great The restaurant on the 48th floor was awesome with lots of photo opportunities and the staff even helped Be prepared to take a lot of different elevators, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy

Jamie Vaughn

Fantastic room, views and customer service! The room was clean and beautiful Love that it had a kitchen and living area separate from the bedroom Bathroom was roomy and gorgeous! Had a luggage rack, extra towels, and so much more room than a hotel room for about the same price

Great communication before, during and after our stay I highly recommend this place if you plan to spend most of your time downtown and/or Uber places They provide a physical room key that is in your room when you arrive (in addition to the mobile key that you can access by downloading their app on your phone) I would take this with you just in case – particularly if you plan to stay out late We had to use this key to get back into the building after a late night, so just a heads up If you are on the fence, you should definitely give this place a try!

W Dallas is an interesting place! It’s in the heart of South town and so it is surrounded by many restaurants and bars There were so many cool places to eat around the hotel which made finding food that much easier The rooms are pretty standard with nice finishes and the beds were comfortable

The pillows were a bust but that’s pretty typical for a hotel in my book! And the pool closes pretty early on weekdays and so we didn’t get to experience the pool The gym was really nice and on the top floor and so it’s fun to look out over the city while you work out We ate at the restaurant just off the lobby and had a burger and a kale Caesar salad… Both were extremely delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating and I really appreciated the lack of COVID-19 precautions! It’s time to be done with those!! Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Dallas!

Anjala Ferguson (finergyglobal1)

The service was great! They have a restaurant inside They do have a slight dress code Hotel has a Nice decor

I didn’t like how the shower is out in open If someone opens door to come in room you could possibly just be getting out of shower and all the come in see you These aren’t good rooms if you have children Room does have an older safe in wall It is a decent size No microwave in room Great view Our phone had to much static when needing to call front desk The pool was lovely design The workout room was very nice Wonderful equipment Up to date equipment

Keith Kelly

This was a great hotel for my stay The beds were so comfortable, I felt like I was in heaven The rooms are so clean, and the large rooms have a living room, dining room, and the bathrooms are amazing

I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future The staff members are very kind, and the restaurants are a great place to eat The parking is a bit of a pain you valet The garage is not free, and it can be quite expensive Its right downtown so not many places to park except in the garage

Beautiful, although the room we got was quite small (and the price was very high), with wonderful amenities and highly professional staff Romantic upscale atmosphere and exceptionally cleanThe self-parking situation was slightly confusing at first and we encountered several issues with their payment system for the parking deck (including at least one too many “overnight parking” charges)The infinity pool was absolutely one of the highlights of this hotel, it was HUGE with the perfect view of the hotel and Dallas skyline

It was breathtaking, just a little overcrowded when we went (around 9pm)All in all, it was a gorgeous experience and I believe it was fairly priced for what you get Worth it if you’re trying to decide where to stay in Dallas

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t be disappointedFrom the time we arrived at the place and service was awesome! Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful The rooms were very clean spacious and nice! We spent some time at the pool it was a great place to be and hang out We will definitely stay here again!

Rooms are cozy; outlets are positioned inconveniently but doable; self parking is tight and tricky; location is convenient, elevators are fast and secure but can become crowded during seminar/convention season Toilet/sink water pressure for the room I had at the time was low but shower pressure was good Love the “card key in the slot near the door for power” feature

Advice: bring your own water/snacks Good hotel overall

Very accommodating staff and good service After using the shower in my room, there was an overwhelming sewer smell that got in the room I called the front desk and they moved my wife and I into another room and gave us an upgrade for the trouble

No fuss no issues Was in a new room within 20 minutes In a nice location in uptown Dallas

We attended the Bridgerton Inspired Brunch

run by Louis Ford what an experience!!! From the cocktails to the fresh brewed tea to scones and tea sandwiches everything was perfect! Endless champagne and treated like the Duke & Duchess themselves the live music was incredible- everything was perfect Highly recommend attending an event here

Decent hotel with a beautiful lobby At one point we were locked in our room as door was stuck, had to call the front desk Resort fee not included in price of room which is a bit much for a hotel in Dallas which is not a resort area

Luxury hotel so expected expensive but then add parking and resort fee Won’t be staying here again, just wasn’t worth the cost when there wasn’t even a bartender at the pool, that’s not very resort feeling

Great stay 8 days at the hotel I had one concern and the manager answered very quickly with a responseThe staff is very nice and greet you

The front desk was very nicely staffed Sometimes the door wouldn’t open with the iPhone app but not big deal I had a back up card Hotel was clean and the elevators seem to be working better than in former yearsOver all, a great stay

We stayed here for a dance competition and convention It was the weekend the ice and snow storm shut Dallas down The hotel was in no way prepared to handle the amount of people that needed to eat at the hotel

People waited 3-4 hours for their food By the time food came it was time for the next meal There was absolutely no where to park I know miracles are real because I got a decent spot 1x out of the 1,000x i parked the car Lastly, there were only 10 luggage racks for the whole hotel So that meant I had to make literally 5 trips to bring stuff in and 5 trips to get stuff out I even came down to front desk Sunday morning at 5:30 to get a luggage cart They were already out! My daughter did have fun, but she wasn’t the one dragging all our stuff in and out, parking the car, or stressed about the food wait time, her hunger had passed until around midnight Then she was hungry, but I would have had better luck foraging for berries and nuts then trying to order food

My husband and I were hoping to have a relaxing time by the pool for our anniversary weekend and were greatly disappointed We almost got charged to enter the rooftop pool area (Waterproof) until we showed the staff our wristbands (they didn’t even ask if we had any, they just automatically told us it would be $25 to enter) Honestly, not sure the point of the wristbands though because the pool was completely packed, and you had to reserve/pay for seating near it

We decided to try the other pool which A) turns out to be the actual hotel guest pool and B) we only knew existed because our room was facing it I’m not sure which pool was worse? This was basically an apartment complex pool: lounge area, plenty of seating and cabanas (that’s a plus), a covered area for grilling (?), no bar/service, no view, they were out of towels, and you lose sun at like 3:30pm I politely informed the front desk we were not expecting this and that I didn’t see any events listed on the hotel site prior to booking We are obviously stuck there now for 2 nights and it was too late to book something else… I was told that this is a “public hotel,” that it’s “packed almost every weekend” and the events aren’t posted on the site because they are not sponsored by the hotel I was told there wasn’t really anything to be done about it but they would have the manager contact me That was Saturday, I have not yet heard from them We ended up checking out early and purchasing resort passes to The Omni’s pool

First, the good: Very nice hotel Very clean, great amenities, and overall a fun vibe Location was very convenient too

The bad: the parking is a bit of a walk and it’s not easy to be able to park by the lobby to get your bags in without having to haul them in from the far away parking lot Overall I’d stay again, but the parking thing is definitely good to know

This has been one of the most impressive Hilton stays we’ve had in a while I’d compare it to the service we have received at the Conrad in DC

Check-in process was fluid Since we are Diamond members we were given a great room upgrade, bottled water, and chocolate bars by Luis who was very welcoming He was very thorough in explaining all that the Statler had to offer from restaurants to amenities The room provided the perfect getaway we envisioned I always base my opinion of where we stay on three things: The bathroom, the view, and the quality of sleep The bathroom shower and tub were amazing! Great water pressure! The bed was one of the few hotel beds that I’ve found myself wanting to sleep in on So comfortable! Dallas isn’t too far from where we live, but we will definitely return for a stay-cation in the future!

Gorgeous property! We had a wonderful family trip to visit and had 5 room – they places us all on the same floor which was great! My husband and I had a corner deluxe king room and it was beautiful One evening I took advantage of the soaking tub and even had a great view of fireworks happening over the city! We enjoyed the pool, the food and the area Plenty of amenities inside the hotel but also within walking distance

Just stayed here while enjoying a date night with my husband I love the view overlooking the big screen at The Star! It was nice not having to get in a car to enjoy some (sports) shopping and dining because everything was walkable The hotel is very clean and the staff, particularly Jean, was very accommodating and friendly

Thank you Omni!

Fun atmosphere, and great food The rooms are unique and different We sat at the rooftop bar and enjoyed a beautiful day

They pool seemed nice, though we did not get in The bed is not the best, but it is still good I get the feeling that this can be a pretty loud place, so this may not be for you if you are looking for a quiet retreat For our purposes we really enjoyed it

Wende Walraven

My daughter picked this hotel which is different than where I usually stay It was convenient and easy to get to downtown I am very happy with her choice

The rooms were very clean and unique The roof top pool and bar provide an awesome view of the skyline and the atmosphere was relaxing and extremely laid back The staff was particularly helpful, friendly, and down to earth A very pleasant stay and will stay there again

So

my stay at Canvas Hotel was a lucky accident I got the last room at the last minute and it turns out it was the best room with the best views (512 for your booking pleasure)First the hotel is in an historic landmark building (1910 Sears building) in Dallas so it has this exquisite industrial Brooklyn loft-style feel Think Ace hotel LA or NY but with southern hospitality Big warm welcome, fun, inviting lobby with sofas and pool tables and incredibly high ceilings letting in tons of light My beagle Gigi was warmly welcomed all over the hotelThe service was pre pandemic “it’s all about you vibe” and the food was delicious But the high water mark was the roof top bar and view of Dallas Incredible, like no other in Dallas and with more personality and no Highland Park attitudeIf you are in Dallas, don’t go downtown, go to the Canvas Hotel and just chill out You have the best view of the cityBut I gave this hotel 5 stars not only for the views and food, but because of the people who workThat says something Thank you
