Nope! Half the time closer to 7am and the poor guy from the front desk has to come over there and do the Bistro employees job BECAUSE THEY DONT SHOW UP ON TIME, CONSISTENTLY!! The food is also way overpriced for what you get, I mean…over $4 for a small bottle of water? Is this hotel THAT broke? Front desk guy needs a raise as he was doing everyone’s job most mornings, by himself The floor hallways are very long and creepy as in new carpet yet odd looking wood doors out of the 80s The keyless cards don’t work half of the time The toilet takes five flushes just to get a piece of toilet paper to actually go down Water pressure is horrible and takes ten minutes to try and get all the soap off you in the shower Undersized room TVs and only two USB ports in the whole room and those two are on top of the alarm clock The outside of the hotel is cringe and unwelcoming The grounds need major focus and look overall unkempt Killed multiple spiders in the room throughout my stay The pillows are way to flat and unsupportive Took all five of them together just to make one good one that kept my neck straight One washer and one dryer for the entire hotel that look like the first whirlpools ever invented and did not wash nor dry good at all Stairwell carpets are stained and you aren’t sure if you’re climbing stairs in a state prison or a hospitalOverall, the lobby felt more like a Marriott while everything else felt like a nice Motel 6 If you’re passing through for the night and traveling alone than this will suffice but don’t expect much because the hotel just doesn’t offer much and the staff is just kinda “there” I will most definitely not be staying with this hotel again and will not book it for any of my employees going forward

Nice rooms comfortable beds but when I reserved the room I paid for the “romance package” chocolate covered strawberries wine and roses were to be waiting in our room on the bed also breakfast room service and a late check out When my wife and I arrived there was no such thing as a romance package

we did not get any of the extras I had hoped for no room service there was wine available in the lobby and the maids pounded on our door every hour like the police! Our quiet romantic evening and morning was a let down We have 5 kids and was really looking forward to a quiet morning sleeping in but it didn’t happen thanks to the maids probably won’t visit this hotel again

There is a phone installed on the wall that is so close to the grab bar that it makes it difficult to use the bar effectively so my son has knocked the phone off the hook a few times when trying to gain his balanceRoom didn’t have dish soap or towels and dish set was a bit incomplete We reserved a king bed suite and got a queen studio Considering my son is 16 and needs space due to his surgery that is a huge adjustmentMany of the lights on the property do not work which becomes an issue of safety at night I had to use my cell phone flashlight to navigate the property and also to figure out how to use the card to enter (no light at the door or lights in the parking lot) which isn’t the easiest thing while pushing my child in a wheelchair that needs two hands to do so Accessible entrance is not easily found Went to two doors because the one near the parking lot wasn’t accessible and the one near the courtyard was (super steep incline on the ramp to that door)If you don’t have to consider safety and accessible options it’s likely ok I stayed here before many years ago but my son at that time was not wheelchair bound so I didn’t notice all these problems thenThe hallways do have smells of food and animals but the room appears to smell ok Our tv also doesn’t work properly It allegedly was on 86:100 but barely a whisper as far as volume

This place rips off veterans Really, they’re ripping off the citizens of the United States by not honoring the government rate for official travel But also ripping me off, because I’m going to have to eat the difference based on the way travel reimbursements work

Occasion: Work travel- Booked online for 3-8 April at government rate of $199- Shortened reservation to check out 6 April before my arrival date ( my Th/Fr meetings were cancelled) and was not informed of a rate change, nor did I receive an updated confirmation reflecting a different rate)- Offered proper documentation per their website at check in and was told they didn’t need (looking back, this could have been a foreshadowing but it’s not uncommon for businesses to not want to see ID so I didn’t infer trouble at the time)- Called on the 5th to extend until Friday again (they added back the meetings on Th/Fr) and was not informed of a rate change, nor did I receive an updated confirmation reflecting a different rate-When I received the bill, even though they had listed the correct rate at the top, they charged me $328 for all but the last day (smh on that one) And to make matters worse, when I tried to call the hotel and Marriott to get the adjustment, they denied me!Would I return/recommend? Not if you’re military or government on official travelFWIW, the husband is a Hilton Honors member and has never had an issue of this nature or a response of this type from Hilton I’m already looking into whether I can transfer my status

Newer hotel so rooms and amenities are nice However, we had a bad experience with our room First, we arrived after 4pm and there were a dozen or so people waiting in the lobby because rooms were not ready

Check-in is at 3pm so they were already running behind schedule to get people in their rooms Second, the room type we reserved was not available so they had to switch us to a studio We were travelling with 2 small children so not having the suite was a huge inconvenience On top these 2 failures, the staff was unapologetic They blamed the booking sites and say they can’t guarantee any room type I call BS on that and will be investigating to see if we are owed any sort of refund for not getting the room type we booked

In terms of hospitality and comfort, this stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Rockville-Gaithersburg hotel was by far one of the most best and memorable experiences Joyce and April both helped our two families check in quickly and easily allowing us to make the most of our short stay Not only that, they also took the time to get to know us and found out that it was our 4 year olds birthday and made it extra special by giving him a really memorable present

It’s these little things that make us keep coming back to Hilton and if you’re ever looking for a comfortable, friendly stay, look no further!

The hotel still is not cleaning daily which is fine but I called 4 times and visited the front desk in person asking to get the in-room coffee replenished including waiting up late last night for someone that would be “right up” I’m typing this in need of coffee desperately I’m a Hilton Diamond member and besides a 25 cent bottle of water at checkin there has been no acknowledgment It’s just about impossible to get responses If you just need a room and don’t care about indifferent “service” then it’s fine to stay here Don’t forget to bring your own Kuerig coffee pods if you are staying more than one night Tried to check out on the app but that wasn’t working so went to the front desk and the girl at front desk was busy on a FaceTime call with her friend and couldn’t be bothered to talk and said put the key in the jar Indifferent “service” by the hotel staff from beginning to the end

My daughter and I stayed here last week during the independence day weekend The hotel was quiet, clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming The location was ideal: we walked over to AMC for a movie-night right across the hotel! The breakfast food was so well prepared I left a note to the food service manager about how much we appreciated the wonderfully prepared food, even though it was a slow weekend with very few customers at the hotel

I am impressed by the quality of the service and highly recommend this hotel!

Hampton Inn was one of my go-to places for a quick one night stay on a road trip Last May, I stayed at a couple of them in Maine and was not disappointed What I like best about them is that they are clean and the bed is usually pretty comfortable

This specific one has some issues I think that they don’t use all cotton sheets or something because they don’t feel good against the skin The mattress wasn’t awful but not good The pool area smelled strongly of mold I was down there last night because I needed to relax my back and do some water therapy exercises after a long drive Because I have a mold allergy, I’m still having symptoms in my chestWhile I’d recommend Hampton Inn as a chain for folks on a road trip, I wouldn’t recommend this one Keep driving

Nice staff LOVED their pet policy Hate that the hilton has expanded their pet policy but this is the first hotel i have visted with posted strict pet policies Pets had restricted areas, and doors were to have a door cardBreakfast was ok If you are taking food back to your family take the tray from your room to avoid a trip back upstairs

We found this amazing place on a whim Luckily someone had cancelled there reservation and in less than 24 hours we arrived It’s not easy to plan far in advance with 3 kids under the age 5

This place made everything so worth it We booked our reservation with the owner Monique She was detail oriented and nice to talk with Chris welcomed us with wine and warm cookies Breakfast was superb We stayed in The Turret room The house was beautiful and our room smelled really good The room necessities were a bonus The robe material was heavy and warm Close proximity to downtown We walked to Magoo’s for dinner We look forward to visiting again and thank you for welcoming us

My husband and I were traveling through Maryland for our honeymoon and decided to make this cute place our first stop Do yourself a favor and stop here too Monique the owner and Christopher were such wonderful hosts and were very kind and professional

They cooked the most delicious breakfast for us and made us feel like royalty The house has a collected and vintage feel while still being very clean and cozy We were able to walk to a nice dinner and see the neighborhood which was very fun! Also Violet the dog deserves 5 stars for being a sweetheart

10 Clarke mixes old world charm and modern amenities We were graciously greeted by Christopher who introduced us to what the property had to offer Next we were treated to iced tea, red or white wine and freshly baked cookies in the parlor where we chatted with another guest

Our room, Poet’s suite was spacious and clean The linens were good quality and the bed and pillows were comfortable Soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer were provided10 Clarke is nicely situated and we walked downtown to stroll around the Carroll Creek area Later in the evening we walked to dinner at one of the many fine restaurants Frederick has to offer After returning from dinner, we noticed the party lights in the back yard It is a spacious area with patio table and chairs and multiple seating areas that are perfect for fair weather enjoyment among the trees and plantingsThe next morning we met Rachael, the property manager and hostess, who presented a wonderful breakfast of her nicely prepared house specialty items The food exceeded all expectations and was complimented by her gracious and warm manner Breakfast was served in the formal dining room with lovely table settings10 Clarke checks all the boxes and is a place to visit and return to We plan to return and bring friends

A Straightforward ReviewContext:-I booked 2 rooms for 5 nights-I called the manager of the property for clarification about earlier reviews-I am a Diamond Member with HiltonExperience:-I arrived at 4:28 and one room was not ready and was told that the 3p Check-in is not a guarantee-I was given an accessible room since there was no ETA of my room being ready-The AC in the room did not cool the room till a full 24 hours-Both rooms had an odor that never left throughout the entire stay One room smelled of fish and the other one of stale air

I had housekeeping and the front desk make repeated attempts to fix the situation-the shower did not drain-there was a towel shortage therefore for our last nights stay neither room had enough towel supplies for us to all bathe properly (that was after asking the front desk for assistance)-the dogs above us barked for hours without skipping a beat This happened for 3 days whenever the owner would leave ( I did ask for front desk assistance)-elevator looked to have had spots of animal urine-the AC in the hallway was not working-neighbors screaming throughout the night in the room that did not have the dogs-the Internet worked for 3 of the 5 days We had to use our phones to tether to other devicesStaff:-The staff was kind and ready to help-The staff sympathized with concerns but had no help for any of the above situations-I called the Diamond Service desk and asked for a possible transfer to another property and they hung up on me after a 55 minute phone callConclusion:I have lived in foreign countries and understand that these complaints are minimal in the scope of humanity, however if you are looking for an experience… I believe this is not the hotel experience you are looking for I came to this location for a vacation for a birthday getaway and unfortunately I do regret this decision If you are a family staying over a couple of nights, I do believe the staff is very kind and will give you a good experience, but the property itself I would rate closer to a Best Western Plus experience and not a Hilton experience

We got a 2 queen bed and 1 sleeper sofa room for 2 adults and 4 kids We weren’t planning on spending much time in our room so it was perfect for us Upon check in the room was clean and well prepared

However, no room cleaning services were provided the 3 days we were there We had no where to place dirty towels, no replenishing of soaps or coffee/tea When we went to the front desk to request more towels and ask about their room cleaning services, they said they only clean the rooms on the 5th day of someone being in the room? How is that sanitary? They did give us a few more towels but that was it We had a complaint about the room next to us blaring music and essentially throwing a party rather late in the evening We called the front desk and they said they’d handle it, but nothing was resolved until we called the room directly and requested they turn down their music Then, at no fault of their own the fire alarms went off in the building but there was no explanation provided for this At checkout, they didn’t even ask how our stay was or seek out feedback They checked to make sure our room was paid for and then literally turned away and began talking to other staff thereSome things we did like were the fact that we didn’t have to pay for the 4 kids The breakfast that is provided was good There appeared to be a lot of things available to guests there but we didn’t get to check them out

I was a little skeptical especially after reading some of the negative reviews but I am glad I went ahead and stayed here anyways The front desk reception for the PM shift was great I forgot to get her name but she was so friendly and so helpful I felt very welcomed

Room was clean and breakfast selection was a little minimal but I certainly didn’t expect a full breakfast spread Would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Gaithersburg!

Excellent staff, the front desk attendant was extremely friendly and helpful The room was very clean, but also quite dated A large television is in the room which was nice (50″+ Samsung), but the air conditioner was weak and definitely old

The fixtures were very old as well Still, it was a VERY clean hotel That was most important to us during our trip Comfortable, clean, and great service

Platinum Tier customer service encompassing a very enjoyable experience The employees here are friendly, courteous, and professional! Breakfast is phenomenal! Beautiful park on site is wonderfully filled with fresh air, green grass, and a lovely pavilion for an outdoor meditation spot! I also highly recommend walking over to Minerva for some of the best comfort food I’ve had in years, take your card from the front desk and you will have 10% off your meal! I am very pleased with my visit and am looking forward very much to my return stay shortly!

The bed was very comfortable and the suite was nice except for the noise of the toilet flushA few disappointments spoiled our stayThe lack of carts and no way to obtain the use for one in reasonable time, I tried for 40 minutes

The exercise room and hallways are dirty: mirrors and windows disgustingly dirty in the exercise room and the two clocks in that room were dead There were no towels and no way to clean my sweat off the items that I used; not a good practice for any gymOur room had things in the dishwasher when we arrived it took a while to discover why these items were “missing” and I wasn’t sure that they had been washedAlso, the climate control for our room should have come with some instructions It was set for heat but became unbearably warm until I set the control for cool with continuous fan (not automatic) If you explain the best settings for comfortable climate it would have helped immenselyAlso, the supply of some breakfast food had run out at 9:30AM I sampled the sausage and eggs but they were terrible – tasted like they had been overcooked and sitting for 24 hours The apple I tasted was soft and near to spoilage, clearly way past edible

The dining room and front desk staff were always welcoming and friendly I’m a single mother with 4 kids that was staying there while our house was being repaired The manager was my only issue at this hotel

One of my kids was playing with a light outside the hotel I was getting my child and the manager came out of the hotel and said he couldn’t play with it, which I knew I told her thank you and I was taking care of it She kept approaching my child even after repeated attempts of me asking her to stop and back away She got an attitude and gave me a dirty look before going back inside We saw her in the hallway later that day and she turned her nose up at us and didn’t speak Part of the headboard fell off from above my bed and bruised my daughter’s cheek There was a screw missing that was supposed to be holding it up I reported it to the front desk My insurance calls to inform me we have to relocate Management from the hotel never reached out to me, came to my room, called or anything She was peeking around corners in the lobby and office when she saw us arrive back at the hotel I informed my insurance person that I didn’t have a vehicle, it was raining and they had not set up the reservation for another hotel My insurance asked the manager for us to check out the next day and she refused Her exact words were, “that’s not my problem We’ll allow a late check out but they have to get out today” Poor customer service to throw your “power” around because you’re upset about a situation I will be calling corporate and the Better Business Bureau I will never recommend this hotel as long as she is the manager

First of all, the property was clean and the staff was very professional But that’s about it!Upon check in, I was told that there is no daily housekeeping staff so the room doesn’t get cleaned or sheets changed everyday so if I needed anything such as towels or paper products

just to come down to the front desk and ask for them and they would give me whatever I needed I stayed 3 nightsno housekeeping services were provided during my entire stay! Half of the electricity in my room did not work and a lampshade was missing on the lamp near the bed I reported these issues the very next day day after my first night I was told since it was a Sunday, the issues probably would not get addressed by maintenance until Monday I also at the same time, obtained towels, tissues and toilet paper from the front desk and proceeded to carry it back to my room On Sunday night, I went to turn on the TVit didn’t work I figured out the remote control needed batteries On Monday morning while I was collect more towels and paper products for my room, I explained the situation to the front desk I was told that they would report it but if it wasn’t taken care ofthey could give me batteries to replace in the remote I explained that the remote need a screw driver to get to the batteries and was toldOhwe can give you the batteries and a small screw driver for you to take back to your room The electricity and the TV remote situation was never addressedThis was a horrible experienceI give myself better service in my own home !

The Hotel is fairly new and the furnishings and public spaces all in good condition As a former hotel manager I notice a things that many miss I think what you definitely can’t hide is the staff

I was very please to see polite, efficient people who make eye contact and can answer most questions efficiently The only thing I was disappointed about was the breakfast, having everything packaged is understandable Making my final comment is Covid related, the breakfast was due to safety as was many items in the room I will return and I fell they are handling the additional needs of the virus well

Pulled into this hotel at 5:30am, every hotel for 50 miles was sold out When I called he exclaimed that he had one room left and he would hold it for us We were greeted kindly upon arrival, he was quick and efficient to check us in and get us to bed

The room was clean, bed was comfy, we had everything that we needed When checking out the woman was sweet, the breakfast was packaged but was sufficient and the man running that was very helpful! Would stay here again!! Thank you!
