This residence inn has super friendly and helpful staff The place is very clean and very conveniently located They offer breakfast but the offerings aren’t quite what they used to be but still good enough

Fitness room is just a treadmill and a bike but there is a planet fitness near by if you already have a black card membership Lots of restaurants nearby Definitely recommend

I have always had a home away from home at this Residence Inn, but this visit was not up to par I’m not sure if they’re short staffed or just losing their knack for excellence, but the room was not clean The arrangement of the pillows made me question whether or not they had changed the linens, and I ended up picking up Clorox wipes and Fabuloso to clean the room myself

Now, I know it’s sounds super particular, but I’ve never stayed with a Marriott property that stacked pillows only on one side of the bed It really looked as though someone just pulled the sheets up and stuck the pillows up there I practically lived here a few years ago while my house was undergoing extensive work and never had issues, but this past visit, I was very disappointed

Senior Living Guide

There are newer Marriott hotels in the area Although this one is well located It’s just getting a little on the older side

Staff was friendly and had ice ready to go, bc there are no ice machines, smart moveBreakfast was not good I highly recommend scrambled egg and a waffle iron

Absolutely beautiful place and friendly staff Room was clean, air was WONDERFUL to come into This was absolutely a breath of fresh air to stop in and stay while on the way to our final stop

Would love to stay here again on our way back home Such a nice and light atmosphere If you’re looking for a sign that “this is the one” to book Here it is! This is it! Oh, and they allowed our service dog with no problem or questions and we completely respect and appreciate that! Thank you! We will recommend here to anyone 🙂

Please ignore whatever bad reviews some folks have posted I am not sure what place those folks stayed at This place is bright, clean, very well maintained and in a nice safe area with nearby restaurant options

Staff were all super friendly Rooms are great and the best part is the blinds actually block out the light! (if you’re someone that matters to like me)

glynnis young

Some feel the comfort of the room is all that matters, for me how the staff treats their guest is just as important Im not sure if it was standing waiting for the manager and staff member to complete their conversation upon check in or the absence of a simple overview of the hotels most basic amenities; hours for breakfast/dinner, wifi info, heck I would have even given credit if they had mentioned information about the pool about 60 yards from the front deskTo add on to the lack of assumed basic Hilton Honors hospitality, we returned from dinner with not even a basic hello

I guess once he looked up at us he figured reading the paper in front of him was a better way to spend his evening rather than acknowledging the presence of guestsHighly disappointed but I rather know where not to go and repeat the same mistake twice

Prefect Imperfection

July 2, 2022 Checked in for fourth of July getaway with family Room 107 wasn’t clean the condition of the room was beyond dirty I took pictures below and went to front desk and reported the problem

The front desk young lady was nice and got on it right away about the rooms condition She gave me her Mangers information when I asked for it I emailed the Manger over this facility and she reported the issue and she promptly emailed me back and apologized for the way the room was and said she would refund me right away She was beyond nice and about the situation I will write an update on this review after all issues are satisfied in 7 to 10 business days

Check in was a little slow but they got to us as quickly as they could Location looks to be a little older but still clean and a good stopover Only thing I would change would be the mattresses, but I know that is more of a personal choice

I prefer a soft mattress and these are extremely firm which led to an achy back Otherwise a great overnight stay with plenty of room and in a location very close to everything in town

Jo Neece

We arrived around 11:30pm

doors locked but no instruction on how to reach anyone I just so happened to see a “ringer” on the side wall so I buzzed ita nice woman came to let me in After checking in, she gave me the room key (first floor)upon arriving to the room and opening the door, flipped the light switch on to find a roach on the bed and looked up to find one on the ceiling!! I immediately went to front desk, no one thereI had to walk out into the front corridor to yet again ring that doorbell for the lady to come out When I told her about the roaches, she hated it and followed me to the room to confirmthey were still there! She took us back out front and gave us a second floor room She went up with us, struggled to get the door open (seemed to be sticking), and went in to check it all out No roaches, that we could see! She continued to apologize, she was very sweet! Next morning, I woke to find NO COFFEE in the room and a “prior tenant’s” used coffee filter still in the coffee pot! Good grief!! We checked out (only there for the night) and the same lady was still there, apologizing and saying she appreciated how nice we were about the whole thing Even so, this type of business is unacceptable! We were disappointed in Marriott!

Tony Stevens

Just needed a quick bed for the night Place is pretty clean, room was clean, bed was nice and shower was nice…But, for that kind of money? I still had to go to lobby and pay for coffee There is no continental nothing

The coffee in the rooms sucks and normally the coffee in the lobby is different so i figured i fill my mug there, nope They have a starbucks in the lobby Not even juice, water, nothingAlbeit, the staff was friendly and the place was clean, i think ill stay somewhere else next time Over a 100$ for a room and not even complimentary coffee in the lobby at the very least…

This park used to be Cherry Blossom Rv Park, but was purchased in 2010 and the new owner has mad a lot of improvements The photo on Google maps is old and does not reflect how lovely this park is The park in right off a highway, but the new pull through sites are at the back of the park

The sites are very spacious and quiet The staff is very helpful and friendly They let us check in 2 hours early We arrived early due to time change and bad weather I would definitely stay here again

William G

The park was outstanding Full cement pull through sites are available for short term or overnights The back in lots are also full cement slabs

The park was extremely clean and well maintained There are two dog parks They have cabins for rent as well Everyone was friendly and courteous The park was quiet at night There are walking trails on site Tennis courts and a pool There are laundry and showers The electrical hookups were modern and well maintained Cable hookup and wifi are included We would be glad to stay here again any time in the future

It was one of my worst stay ever The room was not clean tub was really bad There was spit on walls and door

Bed had hair in it A/C would not cool room completely The girl at font desk said there was nothing she can do that someone will be there in morning to fix it So we had little to no choice to stay there they done got our money In the morning all was said they can do is move us rooms Was told to get our stuff out of that room and the other room will be ready in a hr or 2 To top it all off they charged my card $11521 and the next day charged my card $21832 I called and ask why they said there system does that it will be back on my card in a few days Not everyone has a lot of money I will be stuck with no way to leave because I will not have the money

Euphoria Nails

This place has an extreme mold problem! The bathroom fans are not functional and have created a massive amount of mold on the ceilings of the bathrooms The first room we were in had so much mold, you could feel it when breathing and it had taken over the entire ceiling and began making it’s way down the walls This is extreme neglect, as they did not even clean and service the room before placing another guest in it after being made aware of the issue

The floor was extremely dirty and had to mop several times to get it clean The furniture was nice and fairly new, the room looked nice aside from the grime, dust and mold TV channels and internet worked well Because of the mold, we switched rooms This bathroom had mold as well, but not nearly as bad Also had a non functional fan in bathroom, And the toilet tank cover was split open and left The replacement cover they brought did not fit over the tank, so it kept sliding and the toilet was not properly secured AC filters had a thick caking of dust like they are not ever cleaned or serviced We stayed for a few weeks, and the hotel started blocking our reservations so we had no choice but to pay full price at the desk Then they blamed the booking site, not cool Also pool was closed bc of someone had a bathroom accident (poop) They just closed the pool and left it without servicing it If they cleaned and maintained the rooms and property, it would make for a decent stay

Mike Tew

Buffet was worst I have ever been to This was there first reopen day Food was horrible

The server was good The hostess looked like she had just rolled in from a party Called the restaurant and ask for manager, no manager there Clerk was less than apologetic I was a fan of the buffet before but this was worse than going to a third rate hotel restaurant, at best We will not be returning For $17 a head, it was way, way overpriced

JANELLE CARTER

We enjoyed this hotel a lot I had read a lot of reviews and was confused by some comments like dirty and you had to pay for breakfast Breakfast was complimentary, yummy and offered a variety

The stairways at the ends of the building are carpeted and older Therefore, they had a dingy smell that wasn’t great However, the room was and hallways didn’t have this smell and our room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in

Andrew Rodriguez

My stay at this hotel was perfect!!! I came in after booking through hotelscom, although hotelscom had charged me and it had been fully completed and paid for, as a third party service they didn’t provide those funds to Hampton Inn

Tiffany and Anthony were a pleasure to work with and made this inconvenience extremely easy to fix They helped me call and cancel my reservation through the third party and get my money back as hotelscom couldn’t provide them with the funds without me having to pay any cancellation fees Then they booked me my room right then and there, directly through Hampton Inn and modified my room charge to match exactly what I had through a discounted rate although it was not their fault and they were very nice and easy to work with If I came to Dothan again and needed a place to stay, this would definitely be it!!!

Nathan Johnson

This is the edit to my review from yesterdayIt’s now my fourth day here and still no room cleaning, I guess to hell with cleaning the rooms every couple of daysI put all my dirty towels and wash cloths outside the door thinking maybe that would tell them “hey I need some clean towels” nope

They just took the dirty ones and didn’t bother even opening the doorVery nice terrible, stay next door at sleep inn they’re 10 times better than this place

The hotel is very clean! The housekeeping staff is awesome My room was clean and spacious, loved the huge flat-screen TV on the wall The breakfast was always hot and loved

the different items to choose from Front desk clerks were extremely helpful and polite As always, thank you for allowing our pets at your hotels, that’s why your hotels will always be my first choice

Jane Engel

Bed clean & comfortable, plus nice breakfast provided Recent update of rooms However my check-in receipt was for $33+ less than what posted to my credit card

Vinyl planked room floor & very dark grey tile floors in bath were filthy After shower, my feet became very dirty walking barefoot in bathroom & main area Exiting elevator on 2nd floor was hit by STRONG smell of air freshener Can only assume this was to cover fact that hall carpet was overdue for steam clean Room initially smelled quite strong of freshener as well, but our noses seemed to adjust to that after some time Thorough & regular deep cleaning should be the gold standard; not heavily perfumed halls & rooms

Deborah Alonzo

The staff was very friendly, helpful, we have been there about 4 times in 2021 and the room was clean beds were like sleeping on air love the area, lot of places that you can walk to eat if you don’t feel like driving in a great area of town The breakfast is greatThanks

Hotel was clean, well-kept I stayed at a DoubleTree in Dallas & loved it, so I knew DoubleTree was my only option when I needed to stay in Dothan overnight for businessI called & made a reservation at 8:30 in the morning for the same night

Gave her the company credit card numbers twice & my info Said she put me in a king room & it was all setI drive 4 hours from Mobile to Dothan & was all excited to get to my room, only to be told no one made me a reservation The ladies at the front not only had an attitude with me about the whole thing, but also blamed each other & another girl who wasn’t even present about the lack of a reservation being made Charged the company credit card again, and for $30 more than what it was that morning Said they gave my king room away & put me in a two Queen on the bottom floor It was already 5:30 and I needed to sleep to be able to go to work at 7 the next morning, or else I would’ve went elsewhere Only good thing I have to say is that the restaurant was great & the hotel was clean Other than that, tainted my whole mini vacation I made sure to tell the company I work for so they choose somewhere else to take their business

Andy Turner

Abhorrent management! The hotel is relatively new, but stay elsewhere because management is completely incompetent There was not anyone at the desk when we arrived at the hotel around 8:00 PM Once someone came out after several minutes of waiting in an empty lobby we asked if we could check in

Pretty basic request, but not here After a few minutes of stressful searching on the computer, the young man assigned us a room We arrive at the room to find it as the previous guest left it We return to the desk and he assigns us to another room We go to this room and upon entering find it currently occupied by another guest That is right, they gave us a key to a room that another family was staying in MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE We return to the desk and tell the night manager what happened He scrambled around for a while, left for about 8 minutes and when he returned he informed us that they did not have a clean double Queen room available He ends up putting my son and I in a king room and my wife in another room This was a family trip and NOT what we planned or wanted I asked him to have the General Manager contact me I emailed the General Manager that night with the details I asked the lady at the desk when we checked out to remind the General Manager to call me It has been more than a week and I have not heard a word This just reinforces that the management of the hotel is incompetent and they do not care about customer service

Steven sanchez

Very nice hotel but they have a nice bar and restaurant that closes at 10pm I have been there multiple times during my month stay and today was the worst They were sweeping up at 930 and gave me a to go box to push everyone out

I asked from the beginning if it was too late to take food orders and the bar tender had to check but first told me only the fryers were running then said what do I want and he’ll see You would think with a bunch of drunk hotel people they would want the extra money but NO

This hotel holds a lot of memories for me and my family After we outgrew my grandmother’s house, we would stay here Being an early bird I would always come down in the morning, sit by the fireplace, and journal while waiting for breakfast to be ready

Breakfast is always hot and fresh The rooms are clean And this lobby calms me It’s home away from home It’s a wonderful hotel Do enjoy your stay

Penny Roen

When I went to the front desk to ask for soap, shampoo, conditioner for our room because we had none, the general manager told me that soap was an amenity and they had none No soap had been delivered for two weeks and he had only been general manager for 3 days and could not do anything about it I must admit, I did not pursue my inquiry about the shampoo or conditioner

So I asked about bath towels—our room had two smallish threadbare towels He told me all the towels in the hotel were the same How did this hotel get a good, 35 star rating? Are all country inns like this? I would have liked a coffee/tea setup in the room like other motels, but understand that’s not necessary, but no soap or body wash?!!!

This was our first stay at a Home2 Suites, and it was excellent! The staff was very friendly and accommodating The room was spacious and comfortable The beds and pillows were so comfortable and soft, and the sheets luxuriously soft

It was the best night’s sleep I have ever had in a hotel! The rooms were nice and quiet, too No disturbances from the guests on either side Thank you for such a wonderful experience I will definitely stay at Home2 Suites again

Karen Bradish

The “Home2 Guarantee” does not apply to this hotel! I reserved 2 rooms and both of them were extremely dirty Finger prints, smudges throughout all surfaces, mold in the shower and disheveled bedding One of the rooms had BUGS

The sad thing is that another guest overheard me complaining about the bugs and ask me if they had put us in room 212 She had just been moved out of that room and Management still put us in the room I complained to the General Manager, James who has no empathy or customer service I had to insist on being moved There were no rooms that morning but James was to reserve a room for when we returned in the evening He failed to let the front desk know so when I called back to make sure, I was told they were booked I insisted that they call James and we ended up with a queen room which the TV was broken and there was no blow dryer The next morning I went down to speak with James to discuss how he planned on adjusting my bill due to all the issues we had encountered He refused to come out from behind his glass wall and sent his Assistant Manager who was very professional but not familiar with our experience James was only willing to offer us 5,000 Hilton points which we declined In the end they compensated us for the night we experienced the bugs In addition, the cleaning staff was at the elevator talking about how bad things were and they did not blame someone from quitting and they were going to next Then I was also told by the front desk that they had other rooms with King size beds but they did not have the cleaning staff to clean them Don’t waste your time, Dothan has plenty other options that want disappoint In addition, I am still dealing with incorrect billing charges on my credit card The newest hotel does not mean the best!

Victoria LoRusso

Eh The worst Home2 I have ever been too Luckily it normally it good but this wasn’t

Bathroom was dirty No body wash the container was empty Woke up every hour the place was so loud no one cared Dog wouldn’t shut up at the other end of the hall and baseball families were somehow up late and left early Suspicious stain on couch Breakfast was absolutely disgusting; not sure when that stuff was made Gym water dispenser was empty and people kept being weird watching me workout when they came in for their laundry It was NOT worth the money I paid at all and the highlight was the sunset out the gym window I would not recommend nor return

I have met some really nice people on the property so far If your looking for a peace of mind while traveling away from your home THIS IS THAT PLACE!

This place is an extended stay complex and it can also be a permanent stay if you so choose to do so!! Security is great and appreciate!! The On site security helps “keep out” a character of people that you do not want to be around!! I’ve been a resident since November 2021 Friends have visited and family also and grandchildren have stayed the night Most Favorite thing I appreciate is the pet friendly and “emotional animal support friendly” at this complex!! 2nd Favorite thing is feeling of safety I’ve experience at this complex!!The office staff and the maintenance staff are some of the best people you will ever want to be around!! They go above and beyond to help you feel at home and like family!!😊🙏👍💕

I do not believe I have ever been more disappointed in a hotel stay in my life The room night rate was very high There is no way we got our money’s worth

We arrived at the time our reservations says was check in That was wrong and we had to wait an hour When we got in our room we found it was one of the reduced sized rooms because of a mechanical and storage room nearby One of the two beds was soaking wet and we had to get someone to completely change out the sheets Our bathroom was TINY The fixtures for the shower, sink and toilet were all very CHEEP and flimsy, some were broken No water pressure to speak of There was a kitchen in the suite A check of the pots and pans showed they were all worn out and DIRTY This is a NEW hotel??? The other main problem is management could not control the noise I spoke with the front desk several times The running began at 5am both mornings we were there They had some sports teams in the building apparently The ONLY GOOD mark I can give them is the breakfast I NEVER plan to darken their door, or any other Towne Place Suite facility ever again

Requested to change our room because the first room they got us was not okay at all I’m pretty sure the sheet, blanket and pillow cases wasnt change at all before us! I found some human hair and some sprinkled salt or sugar, not sure what it was but it was a white granulesSo the lady changed our room and still not happy with it

The carpet stinks! The toilet bowl was so yellow and has black molds! Had to buy bleach to clean it 🤮 same problem with the bath tub I mean, im not expecting every hotel room to be very clean but at least clean the areas that will be using everydayAlso, the washers are dirty It has black dirts/ molds in the door of the washers Dont know if its gonna clean my clothes or its just gonna put another dirt or bacteria on my clothes so decided not to use it at allWishing they will clean it
