Clean but outdated When I say vintage elevator, it was so old the only thing missing was the elevator man asking which floor I wanted 😂 The pool was not usable due to needing a pump part Very disappointing

My room had a microwave and nice sized refrigerator which did keep drinks cool Very well A nice plus since I was here for a few days The bed was very comfortableOne thing that should be updated in the rooms asap is the lack of outlets by the beds As a C-Pap user there was not an available open outlet by the bed I had to pull out the night stand and unplug the alarm clock to plug it in To plug in a phone, it has to be plugged it in across the room or you need to would need to unplug the bedside light Breakfast is a bag one consisting of an Activia yogurt (nice choice), granola bar, sweet roll and small bottle of waterThey did have fresh coffee and tea (regular/decaf) available throughout the day, although the hot water wasn’t always hot The front desk staff was helpful and courteousThe hotel does has a deal with the Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse which is located right next door for 10% off Overall, not a bad place to stay at the price pointIf the pool would have been open, more of a healthy choice breakfast and more bedside outlets I would have given it a 4

Manager’s policy is not to remove the plastic wrap that the mattresses are shipped in Consequently when we laid in the two beds they krinkled every time you moved, and the plastic did not allow air to circulate so it was too warm It was not a comfortable not

In the morning I pulled back the sheet, the fitted sheet, and there was a zippered mattress cover, unzipped that, and observed the plastic shipping cover on the mattressI spoke to the Desk person when we checked out in the am, and she confirmed that it was the Manager’s policy to do this with all mattressesIf you decide to stay there, I’d recommend bringing along a box cutter to cut/remove the plastic coverOn a positive note the room was clean, hence two starsSeriously – if the Manager hasn’t changed his policy, I’d avoid this hotel

Michael Humes

It’s ok The town only has 2 hotels–my understanding is that both are nothing to write home aboutRoom could have been cleaned better–first night there I was missing shampoo and conditioner, found a crusty washcloth on the shower curtain

Floors were dirty–plan on wearing socks and shoes if you dont want black dusty feet

Jesse and Michelle are amazing hosts, very hospitable and warm We booked the whole place for two nights for a party event, and us and all our guests felt comfortable and excited to be there Breakfast was delicious each morning as we all sat in the sun room

The rooms are large, as are the en suite bathrooms The history of the house is fascinating and the grounds are gorgeous

Sharon Ann Holt

The Inn was a great place to stay It’s easy to find off US 29 and my room was comfy, stylish, and very well appointed Also had a small sitting area, which added some delights

The hosts were friendly and took a lot of extra trouble to make sure that I had a gluten-free breakfast I am very grateful for such care There’s a fantastic ancient tree out front which is worth stopping to see My stay was in late October, but I have added going back in warmer weather to enjoy the patio and outdoor space to my bucket list Highly recommend this historic Inn

I stayed here because I was going to a Family member Funeral The Hotel is very beautiful

The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything Pots ,knives, cups ,plates bowls you name it ! The room even has a dish washer I ran into a slight problem at the beginning with the young lady at the front desk, but my situation was quickly resolved by ManagementOther than that I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

Lucin Colakoglu

This hotel is really the best in the area The rooms are very clean and spacious and the staff is amazing! Clifton is the best and every time I stay here he always greats everyone who comes through the door and is so kind! He helped me with a small issue with my room without hesitation; you could tell he really cared to make sure I was happy and comfortable I made the mistake of booking too late a few weeks back and had a horrible experience at a hotel not far from this one so I am so happy to be back and I definitely learned my lesson and will make sure I always stay here! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Great Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful historical home with rooms themed to the seasons We stayed in the Fall room Had a comfortable bed, cold and hot drinks, always available downstairs

Served peach muffins for breakfast Oatmeal and cereal bars were other options When we returned back to our room for the second night we enjoyed a snack of homemade brownies! Rockers on the front porch were relaxing! What a charming town!

My stay at Hampton Inn was awesome! My room was spotless! The food was fresh and the dining area was clean The staff was welcoming, professional, helpful and friendly It did not matter the time of day they were always cheerful and ready to assist me

But most importantly and what I admired the most they worked as a team Kudos to Myriam, Jalesha, Darius, Donnell, Raymond, and Candace! A Job Well Done!!!

Christy Clark

Stayed 4 nights Had to ask for towels each day Finally after 3 days, we asked if they could empty the trash and deliver fresh towels

They emptied trash but no fresh towels Room was ok It was clean There aren’t any convenient places to eat or even a convenience store so that explains why a cup of microwave soup was overpriced Very few choices for soft drinks for the entire stay The clerk at the front desk wasn’t friendly (if she was even there)! We watched a guy wait 10-15 minutes to pay for a bag of chips because she wasn’t there Unpleasant odor in lobby area Best coffee ever though for a hotel! And they should offer a shuttle service considering how remote they are

s smith

Older property, much older than most Hampton’s I’ve stayed in recently Orange and black carpeting Missing hooks in rooms

Screw holes in walls Extra wear on Formica That said, my room was clean and quietThe well stocked breakfast bar was the standard Hampton Inn fare and what was supposed to be hot was hot and what was supposed to be cold was cold Parking tight if you arrive late Hotel filled with summer sports club families, not business travelers Stayed here because other local properties were full

This was an yucky experience Going to bed was hard There was stench from the floor

smelled like an old wet mop the heating system roared loudly The ceiling paint was peeling off The tub was oily and nasty I used my own perfume and placed a towel on the floor to kill the stench and a towel in the tub to shower I use to frequent this place when it was Comfort Inn This place has gone down tremendously I will not be going back

Anthony B

The hotel it self needs an entire update I give it three stars because the desk attendant did such a great jobThe front entry isn’t too clear when approaching the building

The place present a very 80s feel The king size bed room I had looked decent They attempt a few upgrades Overall the room was averageThe stained bed sheets needed to be cleaned I asked for new sheets all together and they obliged The refrigerator had stains as well The cleaning crew needs to be more thorough The gym looked like a place an office once wasIf the hotel rebranded or went with a cleaner more modern look it wouldnt feel like a motelGood place to lay your head that’s it

I’m going to be straight to the details because I’m traumatized from this experience I stayed here 2 nights with my family and I booked 2 non smoking rooms online but when I got there, they addressed me to a handicapped room?? Upon entering the room, you’ll be lightheaded from all the heavy smoke smell, and keep in mind I had little kids with me The bedsheets and pillows had black/brown stains on it

The ceiling was crumbling Shower area had dirty towels and the water was also disgusting Couldn’t even shower In the middle of the night, I had waken up to a dry eye and a burning sensation occurred This place is nowhere near safe to stay If you value your well-being, avoid this place at all costs Staff had attitude and anger issues Stay safe everyone

Alicia Wanty

If I could give zero stars I would Overpriced for one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in To start with the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the bathroom reeked of pot

There was not toilet roll holder, the 2 metal pieces were there but the plastic middle bit was not There were ashes or dirt on one of the metal pieces There was dirt and hair in the edge of the tub, long hairs in the tub-I have short hair so definitely not from me The tub stopped draining randomly but was fine the next day The fan in the bathroom was held up by packing tape There was toothbrushing spittle above the sink-we use red toothpaste so definitely not ours The front window had a crack in it The curtain was dirty There was a sock under the bed that didn’t belong to us A jewelry looking thing on the carpet So no vacuuming was done The mirror was smudged The chair came apart when trying to move it The dresser drawers were not straight and broken 2 out of the 3 lamps did not work Part of the base board near the bed was missing with chunks of wall on the floor Asked for 2 more towels, the front desk acted like it was a pain then said I’ll call someone Never got towels Asked the cleaning person the next day when we passed him on the first floor-he said we should as upstairs cleaning person We stopped at the laundry room and asked again They reluctantly gave us towels after half of us having to use hand towels because they would not give us towels The pool is closed because of “Covid” as well as the hot breakfast The sheet had a burn mark The stairs are very rusted and have been painted over

Mohammed Islam

Never have I seen a rude front desk Came in with family and was standing like we were invisible The person at the desk kept doing something else without even saying a hello as if we were beggars

He clearly saw us waiting in front of the desk for a while I gave ample time for him to do his thing until it seemed very rude He chose to revoke the booking, I had my wife and baby with me , we drove for 5 hour to get insulated Is this how Ramada trains their front desk ? The front desk is the first impression of the hotel It’s possible he didn’t keep our booking and filled up the rooms and was ignoring at first to see if we leave He also said they Still doesn’t serve breakfast due to covid-19 You can’t use that excuse forever to cut cost Booking stated breakfast included but not when you get there Bait and switch situation No pool access He told us to go somewhere else

Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful – staff were kind, room was decorated nicely, and the catered food they partner with was delicious After the wedding, we were all hanging in the lobby, and a staff member came out to offer us a trash can for our leftover snacks and told us we could hang out as long as we wanted, but to just avoid any hallways so as to not awaken guests We really appreciated it!

Holly Valentine

Unfortunately this is the only hotel in town, so there is no reason to upgrade I have to stay here a couple of times a year because it is really the only choice in the area I keep hoping it will improve, but never does

Worst beds in a hotel ever… floor would be more comfortable Also the pillows on the bed would hardly work for a toddler There is one sheet along with a paper thin blanket and paper thin bedspread Can’t imagine staying here in winter The only good thing is the fridge and microwave in the room – definitely bring your own food if staying multiple nights Even the tv system feels like it is 20 years ago

Kimberly Williams

The hotel was fully booked, but the staff treated us like guests and not a job or a nuisance I am excited thinking about visiting family again and staying at the Westminster Best Western!I was saddened by a family that was complaining about breakfast on Sunday They were unkind to the hard-working and kind, young man working to feed the fully-booked hotel! They were loud and unkind not only to the hotel staff, but to their own family members

I share this because I expect this family to leave a derogatory review as they seemed like that sort of people (ironically, the woman’s name was Karen!)

Great place! Definitely worth the price, kind reception, good breakfasts, and pretty clean place No fault of the hotel – but woken in the middle of the night many times to loud cars in the parking and screaming in the hallways I wish the hotel handled that better and also the people who sit/sleep in their cars in the parking lot? They can be a little frightening when you are trying to get home late or leave early

Winter Woods

The previous reviews of this hotel must have been paid testimonials, because overall, this was by far the WORST hotel experience I have ever paid for I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, and I recommend that others looking for a more affordable option stick to Holiday Inn At least they give you the basics

I felt like I had just moved into a college dorm room completely unprepared, with nothing but my suitcaseThe Sonesta ES Suites in Columbia Baltimore was very run down The rooms look amazing online, but they are nothing like that in person The least they could have done was ensure the room was cleaned properly But with trash left between the nightstand and bed, missing bar soap and sofa cushions, spotty hot water, and no cable access, it was not up the standards I expect from a hotel The internet is so bad, I had to go to Starbucks everyday to finish my work I would’ve been better off staying at an AirBnB that had no amenities I assumed that a pet friendly hotel would put more effort into cleaning My room smelled like wet dog all 3 weeks I was there I had to light a candle everyday to try to mask the smell There is also no access ice, water or any type of vending There was a water dispenser in the gym, but to be honest, I’m not sure if it was filtered It looked like they had a snack shop at the front desk, but with all the mess behind the counter, I couldn’t really tell if they were selling the snacks, or if they were for the staffThe front desk staff members are very unhelpful and have terrible customer service skills They act like they hate their jobs and doing anything to assist you is a huge inconvenience The manager I spoke with wasn’t friendly and instead of fixing the issues in the room I was given, just put me in another room that had just as many, if not more, issues than my original room The walls are EXTREMELY thin, so much so that you can hear someone sneeze not to mention entire phone conversations The laundry facilities are trash, so you’d be better off washing your clothes in the sink And breakfast was hit or miss I suppose it’s a good option if you want free food, but if you don’t like microwaved eggs and sausage, just use the in-room kitchen to make better food It may take 30 minutes to boil water on the tiny hot plate, but it’s an option I would give zero stars if I could

Do not stay here Just don’t I’m 100% convinced any positive review for this place is fake

They don’t clean Cockroaches everywhere We were there for only a few nights, thankfully, but couldn’t wait to leave I checked for bedbugs constantly but I think we lucked out and didn’t get any Every night there were people having fights and screaming The walls in the room were filthy, but easily cleaned with a wet rag – no one had even tried to clean them For some reason there’s an abandoned car in the parking lot, so that was pretty neat The breakfast is a joke, just coffee and some granola bars and muffins I don’t have any good things to say about this place, other than the rare occasion we spoke to someone who worked there, they were nice enough, I guess They just don’t clean anything here See the photos I’d recommend tearing it down and starting overEdit: also it smells like weed and stank

Tom Hines

This hotel has requests to share reviews online all over the property I stayed in room 221 on June 4, 2022 I entered the room and it smelled like a dozen ashtrays

I called the front desk to make sure no penalties get charged to me The front desk woman was nice and apologetic about the smell She suggested it was the air conditioner, but I told her it smelled as it did on entry without A/C The toilet seat should have a seatbelt since it’s broken and immediately slides left or right Toilet doesn’t flush Open tank to see a HUGE amount of black mold Reached above the microwave to see if there were any kitchen items (plates, etc) and found an old tooth brush and used napkins Tried to turn on the bedside light and found that someone wrapped the switch with electrical tape rather than replace the light, which doesn’t work even though it’s plugged in Light bulb? Perhaps The bed seems clean and that’s pretty much the whole point As for extended stay in this place? I’m not paid enough for that Signs everywhere bragging about how much they clean but it certainly does not show the level of cleanliness they claim to present

D Fredericks

Hotel is okaySome rooms no hair dryer so after you take a shower you might have to walk downstairs and ask for a hair dryer🙄Pretty Sad

Staff during breakfast were top notch! They were very kind/courteous and made sure that everyone and everything was clean and sanitized for the guestsNewly renovated rooms were gorgeous! Great job updating them However, the only bad thing was that we were there for a week and thought our rooms would be peeked in on (to empty trash or give us fresh towels or more toilet paper, etc

I know with the new Covid protocols that they may not do so regularly, but thought maybe at least once during a week-long stay would have been nice We had to ask for clean towels (since ours would not dry from showering), more soap/shampoo, and toilet paperOne evening, we came back to the room and found that our window and sheers were opened (making the room really muggy), but the room was not refreshed We were confused why someone would come into our room and open our sheers and window Nothing was taken Went to tell the Front Office Manager at the time, but she didn’t have an explanation and seemed to shrug it off It was a little unnerving

I will never ever stay here again Decided to go see my sister and her family for the weekend So we ended up getting the holiday inn express

I have never had any issues with a holiday day inn My son woke me up to show me a bug on the wall Then we started seeing more on the window and even one on the bed Once the sun came up you can see that there have been other bugs The room walls had bug splatter juices on its walls 🤢I couldn’t sleep after that My son was hungry, the hotel has free breakfast So I went with him so he can get food I don’t know who eats raw bacon but that food was not good at all The bacon was so under cooked But wait before we even left to go down stairs there was a mouse that was next to my sneaker and ran out the room I did go to the front desk to complain They wrote the information down and said we will see what we can do Maybe we can switch your room, I don’t want another room because we were checking out I haven’t heard from anyone from the hotel As a business they should have at least the decency to call a customer back that had a complaint about where they stayed, eat etc Especially if money was spent But never again will we stay at this Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Owings Mills Maryland

Well I will say this about this hotel…it was the best experience I’ve ever had in my 40 years of life from any hotel I thought it was pricey but let me tell you totally worth it I jiggle recommend this hotel

The staff was friendly and nice and very honest We came during a busy time so couldn’t get checked into until later Our room was still not available but they got us into a room but it wasn’t just any room We lucked up with the executive two layer suite for the inconvenience of waiting And I will tell now, no matter what room I get from this hotel I will most definitely be back and also plan for a stay in the further of the executive suite as it was absolutely gorgeous I have teenagers and nothing phases them but this room made they happy and excited which doesn’t happen much They absolutely loved this hotel Thank for a wonderful weekend My family will be back and I’ve already recommended friends to come here as well!!

Newly built hotel, modern decor, modern security features and great location As much as I enjoyed the property and its gym (the gym is dope) its location was great as well Located near a newish train stop, the hotel is supported by a “town center” design featuring a “main street” with restaurants, convenience stores, beauty salons and a boxing gym

A local library is steps away and the area is very foot-friendly Starbucks is in the first floor of the hotel for you bean junkies

I’m an Ambassador Elite and in Baltimore twice a month and this hotel is Fantastic edition to the City Near everything The anchor for the Town center project which has its own metro station and free parking

There are many restaurants and shops opened and new ones opening soon This is a New Hotel, and the Hotel staff are very attentive and, courteous, and professional They mentioned and thanked me for my Marriott status & business and upgraded me with an awesome upgrade to a suite Pics attached They informed me of all the amenities There is a very nice restaurant on property, with a really nice bar and atmosphere The Gym is very, very nice with the latest equipment Even for boxers The member club super nice and large Starbucks on property as well 25 minutes to BWI No traffic I recommend this hotel highly And will be back
