An outstanding, immaculately maintained property near Bird-In-Hand and close to Lancaster Everything about our stay was exceptional The seniors only wing with spacious rooms made for a very pleasant get away

The “view” out of our window (see picture below) of the surrounding pastoral farms did not disappoint The buffet breakfasts with made-to-order omelets expertly prepared by Rosa were simply great We did not need lunch 😊!!

Christine Milchak

Pros:Beautiful hotel, definitely geared towards business Next time will explore the area around it Nice room, spacious, nice bathroom

Cons: staff at the Starbucks was not friendly They seemed bothered to serve guests (Not a reflection of actual hotel so will not lose a start for this, but training is needed for staff who works at a landmark downtown hotel)

David Bishop

We had a great time at this hotel After we parked o/s the hotel, we were met by Don Brown the bellman Don was very friendly, welcoming and told us about places to see and places to eat

He took our bags on a cart and showed us to our room after we checked in Don is a great first impression for the hotel We were checked in by a very friendly person at the desk She upgraded us to a better view from our room And the view was spectacular We enjoyed our stay up until Sunday morning breakfast at the Two Kings restaurant We arrived there Sunday am and found it to be a buffet breakfast Which was ok but all the food was cold and the attendants weren’t very welcoming

Jeremy Clarke

The hotel was nice Clean rooms, poor water pressure It is perfectly located to enjoy downtown Lancaster

However, I found that my tips for food service were altered + 300%!When I called the hotel to discuss with a manager several times I got voice mail and never received a call back after 3 monthsI will not stay here again as a result If anyone does, keep your receipts and make sure tips match what’s charged yo your account!Very disappointed that management would not return a platinum lifetime membership calls to share this concern I didn’t even want reimbursement, just wanted to share the concern so others didn’t experience the same theft

I would definitely recommend this facility The grounds and rooms were clean and inviting The staff were very helpful and really welcoming

Convenient and close to food and stores for our travel needs We travel quite a bit and this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in this price range Well worth the money if you’re in the area Many thanks to Kim and the rest of the staff

Robert Bos

Hilton posts stickers on the bathroom mirrors that they are happy to provide housekeeping services upon request Not this hotel! Initially we were told they do not clean during your stay( we were here 5 nights) Then we were informed they require one day advance notice to exchange used towels, empty trash, and vacuum the entryway

We were offered a vacuum to clean our own room:( The front desk also told us the recycling gets dumped into the trash:(

Very nice hotel Beautiful in fact! Great meeting venues in the restaurant area Immaculate house cleaning and very well designed and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price

M Preciado

We stayed at this hotel for two nights The service at the front desk was hit or miss The hotel is comfortable and in an excellent location

Very close to everything The hotel is 100% solar powered, as per the sign at the entrance Nice bonus There is an excellent outdoor space with a fireplace The gentlemen bartender was excellent Very helpfulTips:1) Luggage carts There are too few luggage carts If you get there at peak hours you may have to do without At one point, I asked the front desk clerk if she could have someone try to locate one, and she said there where none available2) This is a pet friendly hotel We took our dog with us and there is a $7500 fee per stay The odd thing was that there are no doggy bags When I asked the front desk, she assured me that there were doggy bags at both side entrances There were none I went back to the desk and told her that one doggy bag holder was empty, and the other one was missing, there were two holes in the wall where it should have been She found3) The doggy bag holders look like mailboxes and are attached to the post outside the door See the picture4) EV Charger- There is only one

Tracy Needham

Had a really great stay here We wanted to be near Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park The hotels in Hershey were pricey, so we stayed here and drove to Hershey Park – about 40 minutes

It’s either new or newly renovated Very nice room – well appointed, clean There was a microwave and fridge No safe which I like to have Plenty of parking A fire pit outside I highly recommend it if you’re in the area Very nice, helpful staff Due to COVID, they only service the room every few days, which was fine with us

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! I would recommend Lititz Springs Inn to anyone looking for a reception venue, or for any other large gathering They are incredibly affordable and the level of service and attention to detail is top notch Jeff made the entire process fun and enjoyable – we always looked forward to our meetings

He answered any questions we had and handled any changes so well The staff here is fantastic and will truly make your wedding the best day ever For weeks afterwards, people told us how fun it was, how delicious the food was, and how helpful the entire staff was Being able to stay upstairs after the wedding was also wonderful There isn’t anything I’d change about it!My husband and I also often eat here and at Bulls Head – it’s one of the reasons we chose to have our reception here The food is always delicious and the staff in both restaurants are fantastic We love going here!

Mary Ann Brown

I stayed 1 night at the Litiz Springs Inn and Spa The lobby was very quaint with a sitting area I loved the room set up with the sleeping area then a sitting area with a desk then the bathroom area

The room was very clean and smelled freshThe staff is outstanding I forgot something, in the room, that was very valuable to me They found it and mailed it to me They took the time to package it in many layers of wrappings to make sure it arrived unbrokenI’m filled with so much gratitude 🙏Thank youI would definitely stay at the Inn againThey also had dining areas inside which was more formal, a bar earache and an outdoor sitting areaJust an amazing place!!

sheldon klinger

The building is absolutely beautiful The food quality and service is much lower than averageThey had two tomatoe based soups, one being Minestrone and the other tomatoes bisque

Both were not good, even for those who like tomatoes I was told that the crab cakes are great, but they were mostly filler The lamb was tough and the sides were mediocre, to be positive No one at our table thought that the food was even average The dessert was below average, at bestThere are so many better choices in the area I have no problem paying a premium for great food This place is high in price and extremely low in food qualityThe service was ok She gave one of our party an attitude The service was good at times, and very slow at othersIt is my opinion that they need to hire a good chef and improve the food quality drastically Also, they need better management, in my opinion The place has definitely declined recently

Julia & Harley Vangorder

I took my family for an overnight getaway and it was just perfect!! The pool was busy but people were great about social distancing The hotel service was amazing and Julia at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming The rooms were beautiful and the little market had some tasty sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit cups!! It was great grabbing a late night snack

I will be back Thank you for helping us start the new year so relaxed!!!

Marlene Black

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend to visit family We had a room right off the pool so our grandchildren could come visit and spend time swimming It has a tropical atmosphere and a hot tub

The door to the pool is locked from the outside at night and there is an alarm that alerts you if someone opens the door from the room This is great for safety for families with small children The room we had was spacious with 2 queen beds The room was clean I liked the vanity make up area outside the bathroom but the lighting should be more conducive to being able to see better This hotel has a bar off the dining room and the dining room had certain hours of operationwhich is ok as I like the option to eat in the dining room instead of going outThere was a convenience store which carried lots of goodies including great coffee from Lancaster County I really like the classic charm throughout this whole resort and the service of the staff wassuperior throughout The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the comfort of the bed We woke up each morning with backaches Maybe mattresses should be upgraded 🤔 Otherwise a classic hotel which I enjoyed

Ashley Preto

Beautiful hotel My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed it The indoor and outdoor pools were great

The buffet was also good Only thing I would say is the rooms themselves need to be updated The room was clean but there were many minor issues The one outlet by the sink didn’t work, the carpet felt sticky on your feet and just old The bathroom had mold on the ceiling For some reason our room was just constantly moist Everything just felt and smelled like it was wet from the moment we walked in The hotel itself is awesome, just the room we stayed in was just old and needed a major “refresh” The beds I thought were super comfy The staff were all great Overall, we enjoyed our time here

This hotel was a life savor and Shannon at the desk was terrific Hotel is very clean, rooms are large, service is great, and has everything We were coming back from a long road trip and checked into a hotel down the street only to leave within minutes, the hotel was beyond livable, and everyone was getting sick from second hand smoke (it was supposed to be smoke free)

The area was pretty occupied but they had some rooms left and we registered Shannon followed up with us to make sure everything was fine We were very satisfied with the Fairfield, I rarely have problems with Marriott hotels

Pam

Perfect location! In town for concert at nearby venue Property is also walking distance to outlet mall and local amusement park Desk staff was friendly and attentive

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway and relaxation, this is not the hotel I was so excited to have a romantic getaway with my husband The hotel is beautiful, however, the walls are paper thin

There was a wedding the same night we were there Guests from the wedding party stayed on the fourth floor, where we stayed I could hear their conversations as if they were in the room with us Groups of people continued coming and going, and their conversations got louder and louder No privacy whatsoever We ended up leaving that same night

Aaron Langley

Lovely building with great architectural details and hip decor

but undoubtedly the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in Every footstep from the floor above is a bang followed by a creak And the walls allowed you to hear clearly the conversation from the rooms next door The space was fantastic and I’m sure if you are there for a wedding or event, it is top notch But if you are coming through to simply get a good nights sleep, you are in real trouble

Karsten

Booked the hotel one hour before arrival, rooms were already set up and we were welcomed by the employee at the entrance Although I’ve read some negative recommendation about the hotel being noisy, I personally could not hear any other noises besides the A/C in the nightThe location is close to the city and you can easily roam around and explore Lancaster, but the factory itself is worth a look as well as they keep the factory theme even in the rooms

Rooms were nice and clean and the beds very comfyIn total, the hotel was worth the money and I enjoyed the stay

Such a cute bed and breakfast! Room we stayed in was very nice and had a lot of charm to it Breakfast was amazing and a highlight to our day The inn is along a main road, so you do hear the street traffic if you are in a room right next to the road (not a detraction, but more of an FYI when choosing which room to stay in depending on how you sleep)

Regardless, I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back for another stay

gloria kaiser

We checked into the Historic Smithton Inn for a three night stay for our anniversaryRebecca and Dave were the perfect host very accommodating
