The accommodations are incredible, our room spacious and beautifully clean daily, the staff bends over backward to be helpful and friendly The food is very good and our experience at the Hibachi restaurant the other night was delightful

A lot of food so be careful ordering appetizers; you’ll be stuffed😉 The beach is relaxing and the pools are immense! My one concern is wanting to bring more family with us, I did not see any food for kids under the age of 12 ***Please*** create a kids’ menu with those simple things they like; Mac and cheese,a simple burger, chicken nuggets I truly want to have more family there but the lack of kids’ menus is a concern for me Other than that, this resort is top notch in all aspects

Stayed here in July 2022 What an incredible resort for this price! The property is beautiful and the enormous pool is one of many highlights The spa service was incredible

The fact that they even have room service (given how the rooms are spread out over multiple acres) is impressive The employees were generally helpful & friendly The only improvements I would suggest are (1) better quality food at the pool, and (2) faster front desk experience / more employees PS For travelers, be prepared to walk a lot because the property is spread out

This hotel was absolutely beautiful The grounds and facilities were all impeccable and clean Our “basic” garden view room was so much bigger than expected and we even had a partial ocean view

The staff was extremely friendly and always wanted to make sure everything was up to standardWe were so impressed that we were able to get into our room at 7 AM due to a red eye flightFood was priced as expected for a resort (even cheaper than some I have experienced before) We really enjoyed Nori hibachi and regular tables For lunch we ate at the food truck or ordered pizza to go and ate by the pool Both great! We had one extended wait at the sports bar for a burger but the staff was so apologetic, gave free fries and bottled water We were on vacation and had no where to be No problem for us!Overall we felt this resort was a piece of paradise and we can’t wait to come back!

This place was amazing! Me and my husband went to Puerto Rico for the first time for our honeymoon and decided to stay at this hotel – we just got back about a week ago The customer service was incredible! When we booked, we booked a resort view room to try and save some money, but when we got to the hotel and they realized it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a ocean view room – it made our day! The following night they left a bottle of champagne and some dessert for us as a surprise treat with a sweet note They also secured a ride for us back to the airport for the day we left so we didn’t have to worry about it

The most friendly people I’ve ever met! Apart from that, the views were beautiful and the resort had a lot to offer – multiple restaurants, pools, and a casino, along with an enterprise desk right in the hotel in case you want to rent a car for a day I can’t say enough good things about this place We will be going back!

Had a great time Overall an amazing experience Everyone was friendly minus some of the bartenders

Most of the bartenders were great though It’s five o’clock somewhere grill is probably a 1* but, the other outdoor grill is much better Wish there was room service all day long instead of just breakfast and dinnerMaid service was great and they were all friendly and accommodating They are quick to bring you whatever you need Bathrooms were a bit outdated, but the room and bed were greatRoom was very cold when we arrived so that was nice Air conditioning works way better than you can ask for If you go below 70 you will need a jacket or an extra blanket That made it nice for sleeping I A very humid environment We got a great view with a good size balcony

Julie Powers

We were there for a week and it was a great vacation The hotel was beautiful and well kept, very comfortable The pools were amazing especially that they had a separate adult “quiet” pool

The restaurants were excellent, people were very friendly and accommodating There were plenty of restaurants with different food choices and hours of availability Very well run hotel Would definitely return!

We absolutely loved this place Every member of the staff is one of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered and they were all so happy and willing to help Thank you for being so wonderful

The property is absolutely GORGEOUS The pools and hot tub views are amazing, the funicular is so cool, the room views are breathtaking, and Palomino island is such a special treat and so gorgeous There is still a lot of hurricane reconstruction to be done, but what is done is tasteful and beautiful and planned very well so you can enjoy what’s open but aren’t bothered by what’s still under construction Excellent management and planning all around!!My one and only complaint is that the bed was too firm for our taste and made our backs a bit sore Otherwise, keep up the amazing work I hope we can come back one day!

Husband and I LOVE Mexican food, hands down our favorite We are moving this week and this is now our closest Mexican place, and I’m so glad we have it! First time there and it was awesome! Huge portions, great flavors, meat came out perfect Husband says its the best fish he’s ever had! Go there and give them your business! They will stuff you with goodness!

Amy Baker, PharmD

The place is beautiful The views, amazing! The room could have been cleaner I found a candy ring and curly dark hair on the carpet, because I do yoga down there

Otherwise, like the rooms, but not how loud the doors slamFor food, I was stuck with very few options as someone who is gluten free and appreciates healthy, fresh, nutrient dense food I trust that as volume goes up, they will be able to change their menus and have more places openThey gym was nice, as were the poolsI loved that there was live music, but it was too loud for that small space, so nobody could dance without going deafThe people that worked there were friendly and helpfulPalomino Island is super cool, and I love that’s an option! All in all, a beautiful place An upgrade on food choices would really help!

Basic hotel, but clean and in a good location Reception closes after a certain hour, but you can call them to check in (and they leave your room keys in the room for you) We didn’t see anyone at the reception for check in or check out

Lots of attractions nearby: El Yunque national forest (they currently require a ticket to enter, which you can get online a couple of days in advance), bio Bay kayak tours at night, nice beaches (we didn’t try the beach in front of the hotel, but the seven seas beach nearby is quite nice) Also good restaurants within short driving distance (we tried la parilla and were quite happy) Parking space for only a couple of cars on hotel premises, but you can also park on the street in front of the hotel

My boyfriend and I were extremely impressed with the view El Yunque Mar had to offer Our room was on the 2nd Floor, sadly there is no elevator for heavy luggage The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful

Thankfully this hotel had their own parking lot directly across the street The hotel amenities (pool area, rec area and bar) were so convenient The size of the hotel room was very big for a queen mattress My only complaint would be the shower floor needs to be scrubbed I would stay here again

Branlyn Roberson

We only stayed here one night between airbnbs I already booked and when I say I regret not being able to stay here longer- I mean it Calling the staff “accommodating” would be a bit of an understatement We had special needs that they happily accommodated (thanks Liz)

Furthermore, staff happily recommended nearest grocery stores and restaurants Not too mention, the views were fantastic and the linens and pillows were not only comfortable but COOL (which- when staying in San Juan, a/c was a luxury) In my ten days of being here, this hotel was the most personable and comfortable

Elisa Ramirez-Autora

I love to stay in different places around my island I am very vigilant of reviews, however my stay at the Hotel was a very different experience The parking area was very dirty

Many leaves and dried fruit on the groundInside the hotel, in the hallway, the floor was wet due to the fact the guests enter the area with their feet wet from the pool ( I actually fell down really hard) A real hazardThe room smelled fresh but the bathroom floor and shower were not very clean Bed sheets are very thin, outdated, and did not provide warmth from the AC Pillows were very hard and heavy as well The TV channels were very limited and the ones that worked would signal out every couple of minutes The Wifi did not work at all Many mosquitoes inside the room made it difficult to fall asleep Then sudden loud noises from other guests woke me up in the middle of the nightOn the reservation it stated breakfast, but there was only black coffee served Staff was nice, but for the price I would have stayed in another place

This place is absolutely stunning!!! So serene and peaceful Great jumping off point for exploring El Yunque, they had everything for hikes, filtered water, hiking poles, and washer/dryer The view from atop the jungle down to the Caribbean Sea is truly spectacular

The array of different vegetarian breakfasts and coffees/teas each morning was a great way to start the dayThanks Bill and Renee!

My husband and I stayed at the Rainforest Inn for 4 nights in the Jungle Suite and my sister and her husband and her husband occupied the Garden Suite Our stay was absolutely wonderful and as world travelers I can honestly say one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at! The Inn is breathtaking with stunning views of the Rainforest as well as all peace and tranquility it brings Both suites were immaculate and amazing! Our Jungle suite had two his and her bathtubs on the balcony overlooking the Rainforest! It was so unbelievably romantic! The Garden suite had an outdoor garden that was majestic and beautiful! We all enjoyed the most delicious and freshest breakfasts in the garden along with the amazing coffee! This place is a hidden paradise amidst the the El Yunque Rainforest! We enjoyed the beautiful infinity pool on the gorgeous grounds along with a tasty grazing board! The owners Bill and Renee are wonderful and take such pride to make your experience memorable! Thank you so very much for everything! Anna & Ali Aydin

We loved it here! The staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed The pools were open, as was the miniature golf course Our room was spacious and clean! I particularly enjoyed being in the main part of the hotel

It is such a beautiful place! There are plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the view! The breakfast was deliciouseggs, sausage, fruit, and hash browns It was reasonable – about $20 for the two of us Due to covid, not all of the facilities were open (gym, gift shop, a second restaurant on the premises) but if you visit Fajardo, I recommend this hotel!!

Jeffrey Cohen

Quiet, secure and comfortable Beautiful view from balcony Customer service reached out to me during the stay to ensure all was well

Only downside is coffee makers are only in suites, and we had a single room with a balconyGreat views, did I mention that Very clean roomSolid dinner and breakfast recommendations as we checked in

The Resort is very nice, with great views and a nice pool The house we stayed was missing some TLC, with a disgustingly dirty couch, cracked caulking in the bathrooms and other broken things, but overall in great shapeThe most negative thing about the stay was Casa Caribe (the management company)

They were, pushy, rude, and overall unpleasant to deal withKeep in mind that if you book the villas through the Conquistador Hotel you get access to all the Hotel Amenities, while you do NOT if you book through Casa Caribe and other 3rd party companies

Roberto A Correa

Don’t reserve in the Casitas Village through Casa Caribe These people are not responsive when the facility has problems I stayed at village 5051 between June 23 to June 26 0f 2022

The first issue was that one of the three rooms of the villa had a non-working airconditioning I called them to get it repair Nothing happen I was forced to leave on June 24 because another air conditioning failed to work and the remaining one was also failing to cool the remainig room and the share area Also be remainded that when you rent in The Casitas with Casa Caribe you only have access to a pool and not to the rest of the facilities in The Conquistador Hotel If you rent directly with The Casitas, you may pay a little more but you will have acces to the other pools and the beach of the hotel Keep away from Casa Caribe, they don’t care about the customer

Jao Eugene

Place is very good It is far from the main hotel and pools making it very hard to get around without the help of the butler or hotel golf carts That was very inconvenient

They did give us one golf cart but only works if the entire group comes and goes together In our case we didn’t all come and go together so I was left with a luggage piece in the middle of a parking lot, somewhere to go but no way to get there for 45 minutes We tried calling separately for help but still 45 minute wait

I don’t think you can find anywhere with better beach access and better vibes than Casa Coral This is one of the best places I have ever stayed and loved everything about it We stayed in a private room right off the kitchen area

The room was beautifully decorated, shower was great, and ac worked super well The open air kitchen is awesome to hang out in and meet other people staying at the hostel We loved waking up and walking less than 1 min to the beach Casa Coral is in a great location to walk into town for dinner and other things you may need We loved the recommendation chalkboard This place is a gem and we can’t wait to come back one day

Hawken Sawyer

I didn’t spend a night here so I can’t comment on the rooms or nighttime experience The location is wonderful – the beach is quite literally a few steps away, and visible from one of the rooms La Pared is a wonderful beach because one section is very wavy and good for surfing year round (according to a local)

If you walk 10 minutes away, the water is very calm My friends and I rented surf boards from Casa Coral, and had a great experience Very friendly staff, and we had a great time surfing

Bridget Craig

My partner and I had an I incredible stay at casa coral! The staff were so kind and helpful We stayed in the private room and it was comfortable and fit our needs The showers and bathrooms were clean

Loved chatting with the other kind travelers and families in the common areas We rented their paddle boards to go up the river just outside the front! The beach access deserves 5 stars on its own, so close and quiet from crowds 10/10 would recommend to anyone
