Pleasant surprise! Nice, quiet stay Bed was comfortable and room was clean Nice size microwave & fridge

Shower & bathroom was clean & roomy Unfortunately, I didn’t get to sample any of the breakfast or other amenities the hotel offered, but look to do so next time Overall, a great stay and will definitely do so in the future! 45 out of 5

Staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful However, my AC didn’t work in my room One maintenance person replaced the batteries in the wall unit since it said low battery

We thought that would fix it but it didn’t Called the desk a few more times about it that night, they did eventually offer to move me rooms but I was going through a lot and didn’t feel up to doing that so they did bring a fan up that evening which helped get me through the night The front desk rep that answered that night opted to take $50 off my stay as well as have someone come fix the ac the next day I never did get the $50 credit but the maintenence man Don came the next day and got the ac to work He was honestly the kindest and most helpful person My first night staying i was also 3 minutes too late to the drink/snack thing they offer and was told it’s on a timer so they couldn’t help me plus no food was out anymore I know it was my responsibility to be there on time but I wasn’t even 5 min late and was denied both my drinks and food which was very disappointing All in all not a bad stay The room was beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly and did try to be helpful but I’d be lying if I said this was a great Drury inn experience The pool and hot tub were the highlights of my experience here Absolutely lovely, well maintained and the hot tub was nice and hot 😌

Matt Burks

Very nice and well kept hotel Staff was thoroughly pleasant Check in was easy, room was ready at check in time

Room was very nice, didn’t feel cramped even with a standard King room Stayed during a busy weekend but heard no noise at all as walls seem well insulated Instead of little bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash the tub is equipped with dispensers so you have plenty Bed was very comfortable Breakfast is daily from 7-10 am and consists of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy along with various cereals, all very good There is also an evening meal served at 5:30 with a main course (varies by day), sides and snacks as well as 3 free adult beverages per guest, all meals served in a nice common area at no additional charge Parking is ample and hotel is easy to find Will definitely return

Hotel was very nice, room was clean and organized The bed was nice and comfortable The heated pool and jacuzzi is a plus

My only complaint was the breakfast…I know is a free breakfast, but the bagel was stale, so did the muffins etc, I mean, come on…it tasted like it was days old My kids couldn’t eat barely anything that was served Other than that, I was pleased with my stay

I want to say I really enjoyed my stay here but there was a football team that took up most of the 3rd floor where I was staying and they were extremely loud for 3 days Literally screaming at each other, fighting, coach screaming at the guys, doors slamming, people running up and down the halls, a few times they were banging in my door acting like they thought it was their room, but they were trying to get my wife to come out This happened until 1 and 2 am for 3 days straight

I understand that’s not the fault of the staff here but I paid $700 for 5 days here We couldn’t have breakfast for 2 of those days because the breakfast area was JAM PACKED full of football players and of course they were being very loud and extremely rude Not a single person was going to get breakfast while they were there Easily about 50 or so people in their crowd But I must say, when I finally couldn’t take it anymore, I called the front desk and explained, apparently I wasn’t the only one complaining because they sounded very irritated But they sent someone up to take care of the situation And all was right in the world Also, their pool was extremely dirty Personally, I’m not a public pool guy myself, but, not even my wife and kids wanted to swim because of how dirty it was There was so many things floating in the water, it was very disgusting Other than this, our room was extremely clean, modern, beds were very comfortable, TV was great, mini fridge and microwave in the room, and the staff was very friendly The days that we did get breakfast, it was very nice Good selection for breakfast If I wasn’t for that damn football team, I know this would have been a perfect stay But that’s no fault of the hotel so that’s why I give 4 stars because of the dirty pool

Close to the interstate clean rooms we had a 2 bedroom loft The only thing I’d change about the layout is the king bed is in the loft which essentially gives no privacy to the occupants in the loft and seeing as the king bed would typically be the master bed you’d think it would be down stairs in the bedroom and the 2 twins would be in the loft Just my opinion though

We absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel Perhaps they will add more art to the second level

We rented the deluxe king and the room was clean and cozy The bathroom tiles in the shower were a very nice touch The restaurant Metropole, which is with in the hotel, was absolutely delicious We stayed during the week of Christmas, we were able to attend an indoor light show within walking distance of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel

Jess Duffy

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Daniel McGee

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

Excellent experience! When I first walked in I was greeted by Christopher at the front desk He was so sweet and welcoming and had so much knowledge of the area He gave us great food suggestions and told me where to get the most for my money while shopping! Once he got us checked in we went to our room

Again, I was pleasantly surprised The room was was so clean! Everything looked new and smelled amazing! If you need an affordable night away from home, come here! You won’t regret it!!

Andrew Bennett

I was looking around for a hotel for my 15th wedding anniversary, specifically for a jacuzzi suite It was a Saturday night, and every hotel was either booked or the room cost over $350 for one night Also most of them had very small jacuzzi tubs

I stumbled across a listing for LivINN, and I was a bit hesitant because the price looked a little too good to be true, but I took a risk It was a risk that paid off beautifully The hotel is lovely, very clean and very well maintained The staff was so friendly and courteous, and when I got to the room I was stunned It was so clean, roomy, and comfortable The tub was huge, filled very quickly, the jets were strong but not uncomfortable The location is very convenient, tons of dining and entertainment options just a couple minutes away I’m simply amazed that it was the most affordable, but also the nicest jacuzzi suite we have ever stayed in If you get the chance to stay, this is a hotel you can not beat, for a great price

Diane Lipski

We were part of the convention in the Sharonville convention center Choosing this hotel was a great choice We didn’t know that all we had to do was walk out the side door, skip 50ft and walk right in the door! Room was spacious, very neat and clean

Checking in staff was helpful and friendly when asked about places eat The pool was very cool and they had sides that opened up without door seating and a fire pit

Our stay was great! Hotel looked great I didn’t see past Lobby and room since we got there late in the day Room was so clean Hotel was in a great location

Stay: June 16-18thReason: ConferenceExperience: Overall, my stay was positive and enjoyable My room was comfortable and clean (but the bed doesn’t face the TV?) I had a great view of the fireworks at the Great American Ballpark! However, my check in experience was frustrating

I booked a room block with the conference I was attending which was a king room I was put in a double queen on the top floor I called down to the desk to ask if I could be placed in the correct room and they accommodated my request I hauled my luggage back downstairs to pick up keys to my new room, and once I got to the room the keys didn’t work I had to haul my luggage back down to the desk again to get new keys and finally was able to get into my room I dined at the breakfast buffet prior to checking out and overall the food was okay The bacon was pretty salty but everything else was tasty I do want to warn you that you will have to park across the street in the garage (it cost me $48 by the time I left on Saturday) and there is no assistance to transport your luggage, so prepare yourself!

Great experience We stay at double tree hotels fairly often with typically great results, this was was no exception Called to see if they had a room last minute after being turned away at the original hotel we had booked due to them not having any rooms available (3rd party websites overbooked them)

The staff and manager accommodated us extremely well for such a late check in Room was clean and nice Friendly staff, great stay overall Will skip the other places and just book here if we need to stay in the area again anytime soon

Matt Hotel

Came here for a baseball tournament Stayed 5 nights Rooms need renovations

Staff there are super great (Matthew, Will, Security guards, Bartender and breakfast waitress were exceptionally awesome)Pool is great Hot tub is downWe had a great time, I like the rooms set up, but it needs a Reno

We had a great experience with comfy bed, great staff, and excellent access The hotel is dated some BUT we had EVERYTHING we needed and hot water Rooms are spacious and loved having fridge and microwave in room

The cookies are always a treat! The only thing that iritated me was the baseball teams that stayed here as well The hotel can’t control them or their actions, but their coaches and parents SHOULD and didn’t Teens dropping the f bomb loudly multiple times in the lobby while talking to the parrot Mom’syelling at kids down the hall at 10 at nightcome on people!!! SO SO PLEASED! We booked this hotel to be close to the Reading Bridal District, it was a 10 minute drive and so easy to get to! When we arrived Friday evening the man working the front desk was like a cheerleader in all of the best ways! He was energetic, polite, professional, conversational, check in was effortless! Our room, king with sofa bed, was also very clean and spacious My mom and I were so pleased with every aspect of the room – including the bathroom lighting and an exhaust fan! Breakfast was good, the attendant was friendly and continually wiped surfaces down while we were there Check out was quick and friendly as well! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Scott Mallery

We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati-Blue Ash during a tour of this area for four nights in August We could not have picked a better hotel The staff was excellent – every member went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed

Our group has been traveling for over twenty years and this is the most accommodating of any lodging we stayed at The hotel itself was very clean – both the individual rooms and the common areas Our group had previously been on a trip to Northern Michigan where the hotel was lacking and the continental breakfast was poor The forty+ people in our group had nothing but good things to say about the breakfast at the Wingate We would certainly stay at this location if we were in the area again and can only hope that future trips have lodging comparable to this Thank you Wingate by Wyndham Cincinnati-Blue Ash!

Just Me

The room was extremely disappointing for the amount of money we paid Updates desperately needed…!! Older, with a stench as wellThe service at the front desk was the only positive part of our hotel experience

Staff was pleasant and helpful during our one-night stayWe did reach out to the hotel following our stay to address our concerns and we heard nothing back

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

This hotel is exactly what I expect from the brand Great service and they worked hard to get us a check in early because we had a wedding that day Rooms were clean and exactly what we wanted

Breakfast hands down great for complimentary breakfast The morning service worker was extremely friendly Loved the add ons for the waffles The pool was clean and I really loved the late hours Beds were comfortable, not the best but definitely not horrible Accessible to anything we wanted However, true to almost every Hilton experience we didn’t get our complimentary drinks and snacks as gold members 🙁 Truthfully, that’s the only negative I have Will return and recommend 👌

The hotel is kept in good shape on the exterior and main lobby It’s right next to the convention center Free shared parking (so maybe an issue if there’s an event)

The actual rooms are clean and comfortable The air conditioner didn’t work great Just don’t pay more than what you would for a basic, clean hotelThe main point I wanted to share was their free breakfast, which is always a key factor when I book a hotel Let’s just say management runs a tight ship Breakfast ends at 9am Usually that means a hotel will stop adding new food on the counter and have a grace period for people who sleep in But here, they start clearing everything before so that nothing is out by 9 sharp!!! Even when there’s a crowd lining up for food Staff will make that point loud and clear, as I could hear one of them shout at a patron about the possibility of refills Grab breakfast early! That includes coffee and tea

Nick Cianchetti

We stayed here for two nights We arrived around 10p and was greeted with a smile by an employee named Praise The next morning at breakfast, he had an even bigger smile and was doing a very good job at keeping breakfast stocked and moving! He was there when we got back in that evening as well, with another big smile! There are people you meet that come across as genuine and I could tell Praise was a genuine person! This guy was wonderful and needs to be recognized

As far as our accomodations, the room was clean and the breakfast was good! Thank you for such a great stay!

Blue Matthews

The hotel is kept in good shape on the exterior and main lobby The actual rooms and hallways connecting them are quite dated and in need of some renovation The carpet was a bit torn up, the hallways were extremely hot, and the air conditioner didn’t work great

The room itself was fairly clean, but was a bit muggy It’s a bit dated and in need of some repair, but it’s clean and comfortable Just don’t pay more than what you would for a basic, clean hotel

We stayed the weekend due to the location of a venue we were attending The front desk was professional, but didn’t seem to care about your stay, possibly due to a fully booked hotel and understaffed? We used the app to check in at 5pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 7:30 which was very unfortunate after a long road trip The room itself was very small, which I get you’ll find in some of the more historical hotels, but it was dirty

The floor wasn’t swept, you could see chips and crumbs on the floor, noticeable dust on the floor, the bedding had ripped fabric, and the bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned I’m a huge coffee drinker, the coffee maker didn’t work, there was coffee, but no cups, so that was a bit annoying (I did track down housekeeping and they were able to get a replacement for us which was great) The mini fridge was very warm, so we had to pull out the unit to turn down the temp and it was disgusting, literally a layer of black dust coating the top The hotel was totally booked, and with several concerts downtown, there were no other available properties to book at the last minute so we just decided to make the best of it Our next day we messaged the hotel for fresh towels and coffee cups, but nothing, maybe their messaging service was down We did not contact the front desk directly because the front desk didn’t seem to care about any of our initial concerns We did reach out to the Hilton Customer Service Department Now for the good The location is great, 3 minute walk to the stadium, the security guards, support staff, bar and restaurant service was great, very friendly If you’re staying on the weekend, a lot of the shops and restaurants in the vicinity will be closed (only open during the week supporting local businesses) so just be prepared for that And by chance if you’re a cigar smoker, there a fantastic cigar shop right around the corner (about a block away) with great prices and selection!

Architectural style is modern, European, colorful and inviting Rooms are spacious and clean Area around the hotel is green, walkable and safe, with restaurants and live music in close proximity

The reason for the poor rating is the service With one notable exception, the staff was unfriendly, short, disinterested and, often, downright rude No matter what the issue was (housekeeping forgot to clean the room, the paid breakfast was not delivered, or an extra item charged by the front desk to our room by mistake was not removed), every interaction with the front desk was unpleasant and painful Improve the front desk customer service quality and this hotel will be a 5/5 Until then, we will not return Thank you

Very nice hotel, convenient to a lot of restaurants and bars nearby The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable Shower was huge!My husband and I especially enjoyed having the XYZ Lounge downstairs in the lobby for a quick and convenient drink

The bartender was very friendly and kept us hanging out with some great conversationIt has its own parking lot so parking is not an issue

I always stay here when traveling for work It is a convenient location, I like the bar and the bartender, Nick, is greatThe rooms are always spotless and the staff is very nice

I wish the coffee was available all day and there was something to grab and go as a breakfast option I started bringing my own, but would rather just get something from the little store

Trendy, eclectic, and modern facility Extremely clean and fresh Every aspect of our stay has been outstanding

Live music in the bar on Friday The outdoor patio space wasn’t open yet but looked very inviting The bed and pillows were very comfortable Super quiet so we slept great! The night clerk with the dog was unfriendly but everyone else was nice

I’m so happy I got the chance to stay at this amazing hotel! So close to the famous market, lots of stores and museums The hotel alone is loaded with many amenities for their guests to enjoy There is a restaurant on the top floor

The library on the lower level is a chill spot with a relaxing vibe for their guests The gym is loaded with cycle bikes, weights and a yoga studio, what more could one want? Don’t forget to grab a Starbucks coffee on the first floor and walk through the art museum!

I had my wedding hotel block at this hotel and would not recommend for a wedding block or event The hotel was noticeably understaffed and it was a very busy weekend in Cincinnati (Flying Pig Marathon) despite our wedding The Marriott App didn’t link with the hotel, and so check in was more complicated and no early check in was available

I had NO turn down service/new towels/housekeeping when I returned back to my room on wedding night, although I asked the front desk for this (checked in Friday, and no one came by Saturday) Rooms, in my opinion, are relatively small but are modern and clean During the planning process, I had to overall “work with” at least three separate sales/marketing directors, and even the regional and general director due to, I assume, staffing issues Galen, unlike Olivia and Gina, was very responsive but I feel as if all the work I put into it with him was not well utilized I tried to avoid room issues prior to the weekend— had to send names and hotel confirmation numbers for guests, run the list many times, and we still had issues of guest reservations not being able to be found, guests being given incorrect rooms because too many people with same last name, guests being accidentally checked out, etc This was disappointing because I tried to prepare and avoid this prior to the weekend Valet was wonderful upon check in and check out, but they were overwhelmed and were bringing people wrong cars (thankfully we are all family) These are just to name a few things I understand it was a busy weekend in Cincinnati; but a Marriott hotel should be able to handle this Overall, extremely unimpressed and would not recommend to a friend and would certainly not recommend for a wedding block/event This was by far my most stressful “vendor” to work with Because of that, we stayed in a different hotel the next evening prior to our flight

We actual originally picked this hotel because it was pet-friendly and we were traveling with our chocolate lab But I would definitely pick to stay here again when I’m in Cinci next time regardless of whether our pup was with us or not! The hotel and our room was clean, modern, and well taken care of And the staff was just amazing! All very friendly/welcoming and helpful staff members from the front desk to housekeeping who always asked us if we needed anything when we saw her

Mostly as a joke before we arrived, I asked that there be a bag of treats waiting for our pup in our room in the comments section when we booked the room He was overjoyed to find a bag of treats waiting for him! And staff gave him treats at the front desk frequently Great hotel, great location, great staff!

Disappointing beyond belief Our wedding reception venue is a 2 minute walk from this new hotel and as hard as we tried to book a block of rooms (without a discount) here, we were turned away at every opportunity I first reached out to Gina K, Their sales/ marketing lead, in September of 2021

After leaving 2-3 voicemail messages and receiving no reply a month later, I visited the hotel in person to hopefully chat in person I was told Gina was not in the office but again given her phone number I called again 3 times in October and November 2022, still to no avail Finally, in early December I contacted the front desk asking for the email address of someone who could give us just a little bit of information I was given Ginas email and reached out 3 times before receiving a curt reply that this hotel does not offer hotel blocks I replied to Gina explaining while I do not expect a discount, I would like to know if possible to secure ~30 rooms together, guaranteeing occupancy for 2 nights each It is now February 2022 and after following up several times to my email and leaving yet another voicemail, my question has not been answered Our wedding venue claims they have worked with this hotel since it opened but it appears the Kinley and their sales/ marketing department led by Gina have no interest in doing their job 5 months later we are finished trying to patronize this new Cincinnati hotel

We love to stay here on Halloween We have dinner, get dressed up and then go out on the town The hotel is a beautiful, historic gem and the charm is amplified during the holidays

You won’t sacrifice amenities as part of your experience The A/C is cold, the showers have spray options and the room televisions are ‘peekaboo style,’ hidden behind paintings when not in use I booked my mother in a room here a few months ago and she actually took video of that feature to send to the grandkids since she knew it would impress them If you’re interested in fantastic food, check out my review on their in-house restaurant, the National Exemplar
