I stayed in Pittsburgh three nights for a work conference and enjoyed the hotel It’s conveniently attached to the airport and there are helpful signs for guidance The staff members are friendly and the rooms are beautiful

Each day while I was at work, my room was cleaned and fresh sheets and towels were added I liked the mirror in the bathroom with the automatic nightlight and built in digital clock The blackout shades also worked nicely when I got to sleep in on my last day before checkout I also enjoyed the seafood pasta for dinner and the warm brownie for dessert at the restaurant Thank you Hyatt Pittsburgh!

AJ KOLB

The rooms are nothing special beside a large screen TV Room was clean Bed comfortable

I have had better breakfast for free at cheaper hotels I had to pay $1710 For powdered eggs, or eggs from a bag Sausage thst was some low grade dog foodI would take a pass on this place, just for the low quality breakfast Nothing wrong with the room

Alex Kolb

Rooms were good Nothing special , large screen TV, comfortable bed,The breakfast that cost 1710 was some low grade dog food

I had better food at lesser 🌟 rated hotels for freeIf you just want a decent clean room, near the airport This is the right place Find food elsewhere

Great Hotel! This hotel had very big rooms and a nice view It was in a very good location and the service was great The only drawback was the bathroom door in our room was broken and getting to the hotel to begin with was a little difficult but, our experience at the hotel easily outweighed all of that

Overall a great choice and a decent price for some of the other hotels directly surrounding it

Josh S

Stayed here for 4 nights First night we had no hot water, it wasn’t fixed till 10amWhen the water was fixed, we discovered that our shower would flood the bathroom floor no matter what we did

The tiles weren’t angled properly, and it would drain out of the showerWe were also only given one towel, and no toilet paper Had to call room service to get some, waiting almost two hours before it showed upWhen the hotel staff member showed up with our towels, he proceeded to unlock the door and dump them in No knock or anything Very surprisingBreakfast was very basic Ran out QuicklyThe only positive, was that everything was extremely clean in the roomPretty disappointed overall Wouldn’t recommend

George Lutz

This hotel was excellent, and that’s from me, who is old and cranky The young man at the desk the late afternoon of April 7th was friendly and very helpful The room was spotless

The free breakfast was real breakfast, not a box with some muffins in it We travel with a small dog, and the hotel put $200 on my card for amenities, so I think that if the dog damaged something (it didn’t), they would take it from that That’s fair – I would expect to pay for any damages What I appreciate is that if there are no damages, we don’t pay anything This is opposed to a recent stay at another hotel, which charged a $5000 pet fee regardless of any damagesThe South Side location was very good – quiet in the evening, and convenient to where we needed to be (Carnegie Mellon University)Parking was excellent – in a garage beneath the buildingFinally, I was happy with the cost Room rate, taxes, fees, and one night of parking for under $20000Going forward, we won’t stay anywhere else

sue gee

This was by far the best hotel stay we have ever had! There are only 2 negative things I have about this place and that’s the parking garage situation and how they definitely shouldn’t be charging $20 a night for what that was and the fridge stunk horribly

other than that so much was within 5 min walking or 10-20 min driving distance Loved there was a marina and bike trail entrance close by There’s construction going on next door and we barely heard anything We didn’t hear anything from the other guests in the hotel The rooms were decent sized for a family of 4 The shower was huge and the pressure was superb 👌 👏🏽 finally!! They tried the best they could with breakfast Pretty similar options to most major hotels and the pool was fine But my favorite part was the view over looking the river When I’m back in Pittsburgh this is the only place I want to stay Sorry I don’t have pictures inside the room I thought I had a video but I can’t find it

Josh Prew

This is the worst Hyatt property we have ever stayed at and is now on our avoid listParking: Parking garage requires double parking This means that you must hand over your keys to the front desk in case they need to move your car

We found our rental car moved and smelling of smoke – it appears that someone had smoked in our rentalBreakfast: We went to breakfast at 9 (they close at 9:30) and found that they were out of nearly everything No coffee, eggs, or pastries No silverware and trash cans were overflowingRoom: Dirty and has has tape on the ceiling Had a cracked toilet seat (which required maintenance to come by)This property also hosts events Be prepared for loud music until 10:30 at night (followed by an hour of them breaking down tables and cleaning up) Not where I would recommend going for a restful stay – though the wedding party seemed to have fun

Breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast room was welcoming & the garden atrium offered a peaceful outside in which to wander Will definitely stay here again, and again

I am overdue writing this, but Ron and I love staying at the Parador Inn Ed and his pups make you feel instantly at home I brought a birthday cake for a surprise the day before to the Inn and Ed had it set up in the room when we returned from an evening out

It is that kind of attention that keeps us returningnow let’s talk about Ed’s AMAZING breakfast!!!

Beth Layton

This was our first stay at a bed & breakfast and I have to say Ed sat the bar high! The Inn is beautiful and breakfast was perfect! We drove in from Johnstown for a Thursday night Pitt game at Heinz Field and the location is great Even with a recent knee replacement I was able to walk the short distance to and from the field Ed and his pups make great hosts! We will definitely be back

This is a great hotel! We stayed here for a few weeks and the hotel and staff were amazing! The location provides easy access to everything in and out of the city The rooms are all unique and well done The fitness center, the restaurant, the business center, cleaning services and the valet kept us moving throughout the day

The people were very responsive and timely with anything we needed Nothing in the hotel business is 100% perfect but this hotel’s staff is invested in getting it right and made our experience here wonderful You can’t go wrong at this upscale, unique / boutique hotel

Carsten

We liked our stay Parking is a bit of a challenge here Valet is offered but difficult to get a spot close to front door

At this hotel you have to call and ask for ice to be brought to your room Our shower area had drywall/tape falling down from the ceiling The air conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off when it turned on Otherwise, it’s a very cool building with great architecture Great rooms that are clean The staff are friendly and do a great job Jordan at the front desk was helpful, professional and friendly

Carly P

Beautiful hotel, great combination of historic and modern Awesome location, very walkable to tons of places We had a corner king room on the 16th floor and the room was smaller than I expected but we had a fantastic view

Employees were very courteous and they even do crafts in the common room to keep as a souvenir It was pretty clean-some hair in the shower which was kind of gross but it didn’t ruin the stay or anything One recommendation though-vending machine!

First time staying at the William Penn Lovely, historical downtown area Hotel is very elegant, quite the visual experience! Very quiet, classy atmosphere

Staff was excellent: front desk, valet, bellman, waiters Prompt service all around Room was slightly smaller than expected Both public and private areas were very clean and well maintained Should have upgraded to a city view room as our room was a view of the brick walled building very close next door Room was nicely appointed Would have enjoyed a small chandelier in the closet area, instead of a plain ceiling fixture (The public areas boasted stunning chandeliers!) Bed was very comfortable, soft linens Shower had glorious water pressure! Bath towels were very clean, but stiff Window shades provided excellent blackout for a nice sleep-in of a morning Brunch in The Terrace Room was excellent Nice variety of foods available, excellent waitstaff Beautiful furnishings Disappointed that The Speakeasy closed at 11:00PM on a Saturday night Would have enjoyed a nightcap after our Broadway show Within walking distance of many popular restaurants and venues Felt very safe here Key card entry required for elevators Highly recommend this lovely hotel and would stay again with an upgraded city view room

Trudy Wodinsky

Lovely, historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh Ron Gilbert, the Restaurant Manager, was very attentive to my autistic son’s food and other special needs and was so pleasant — he even stopped by our table to say hello Housekeeping very nice, although it seems you have to make a special request to have your room and beds made up

Sam (that’s a lady!) who took care of our room for several days was attentive to our every need and always asked me what we needed She even taught me how to use that little clothesline in the bathroom! Views aren’t great in some rooms I think you really have to make a special request way in advance to get a better view, which we have in the past All rooms have refrigerators and we were able to get a microwave which was useful Everyone was pleasant and helpful All in all, a very nice stay

Ashley Crawford

Very beautiful hotel The staff were amazing, so kind and quick to help out with everything Loved that they had valet parking

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and spacious The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water I would have liked to see a few water bottles in the room given the cost but that is not a huge issue It was conveniently close to everything downtown, we stayed for the Pittsburgh marathon The staff were even kind enough to store our luggage after we checked out for a few hours until we were ready to leave the city Overall it was a great experience and I would easily return anytime and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the Pittsburgh area

Josiah Kenyon

The hotel is starting to really come together! The new restaurant is open for breakfast (The Factory) and I was very happy with the breakfast bowl and French press – creative and deliciousThe main lobby is gorgeous and open with arguably the best city view you can getThey are still constructing the remainder of the bar/restaurant, so keep that in mind, but over all a really great experience and the staff are all friendly/professional

Latosha Jackson

We have been staying at the Sheraton Station Square for many years I was happy to see the lobby and room/barhroom updates, it was needed The restaurant is still under construction but we rarely ate there when it was open

The shower pressure wasn’t the greatest, but it got us clean The patrons in the halls were loud, but that’s not the hotels fault I didn’t know we weren’t gonna get our room cleaned, but one call and we got new bathroom towels in under 5 minutes The location is convenient and close to lots of things and the views are spectacular We’ve never stayed in an inside room, but this past weekend there were several weddings so I couldn’t image the noise level there

I had a great stay here I was very comfortable and the hotel was a gracious host to the busy monster movie convention I came for The pool and gym areas look great

The lobby has a great seating area that’s nice for meeting friends and chattingThe restaurant was a little pricey But the food was very good I had the crab cakes and I highly recommend them Unfortunately, the food prices were so high I headed out to one of the dozens of nearby food optionsThe location is great! You can get downtown in no time and there’s a horde of shopping and eating options within a mile along with an easily accessible Giant Eagle for groceries (my personal GO TO is the chipped ham and hot bar)

Laura Inglis

Everything looks newly renovated Huge lobby area and decent sized restaurant The rooms are wonderful, very spacious and clean

Staff was great, very friendlyGood location, plenty of places to eat nearby and there is also a nice walking trail in a nearby parkThe only negative is coffee Very limited hours (they close at 11am) and $5 for a cup of regular coffee is outrageous There are plenty of places nearby (including multiple Starbucks) but if you need a midday or evening coffee you’ll need to plan for it The rooms do have coffee makers but that’s the one thing in the room that feels outdated

Joyfully His

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years This past time was the last time The rooms were not cleaned properly, and there were black fingerprints on the mirror (??) The lobby, of course, makes you feel like you’re in some high-class hotel, but the quality and attention to detail stops there

Charging what they do per night and don’t offer breakfast or a genuine clean room? No thanks We don’t recommend anymore Across the street, you’ll find Marriott Towneplace Suites They are very clean AND they offer a great hot continental breakfast each morning Well worth the cost AND peace of mind!

stayed here for a mini trip in pittsburgh and it was so great! this was roughly the same price as hotels nearby but it’s so much more worth it because you get an entire apartment there was a kitchen with dishes, silverware, dish soap, etc it was very clean, in a great location, and the staff at the front desk were so nice and made my stay so easy

loved that there was a rite aid right next to it parking in the garage attached was $30 a night which wasn’t too bad giving air bnb vibes but it’s a hotel

Dianna Loevner

Etage was truly a wonderful lodging experience in Downtown Pittsburgh Communication by staff when calling prior to my stay was lovely Check-in was a breeze

After driving 15 hours decided to call it a day and book a hotel online that was pet friendlyDecided on this this hotel 1 bedroom $149 with $50 non refundable pet fee plus taxesA guy working the front desk named Tim look incredibly annoyed with me checking in and especially that I had a pet

10lb dogHe felt the need to argue the pet fee with me saying it’s $75 and I had to tell him it was not that on the website it says $50Go to the room 128 he calls and goes I looked it up it is 75$ non refundable, at this point I look it up again thinking maybe I made a mistakeThis is what it says on their website “traveling with pets allows $50 non refundable 1-4 nights , $75 for 5 plus nightsI honestly did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel or welcomedThe beds are uncomfortableThe pillows are oldAround 5:30am you can hear this crashing sound whenever someone uses the watersYou can hear the person in the room next door full conversation talking, this is not a room with adjoining doors so the walls are thinI would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful check in and easy sleep before travelingIt lacks customer services, basic amenities “bar soap”, and the beds are extremely uncomfortableTheir gym looks nice, pool and front lobby, but I didn’t book a hotel to use any of these things

This hotel was great! My daughter’s wedding was at Eden Hall and we are from Cincinnati, so Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cranberry for 4 days My son-n-law reserved a block of rooms for the wedding party and the staff were great to all of us This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in

The staff was great! The waitress at breakfast was very friendly and attentive to our needs Tim the assistant manager was awesome!! He took care of us and we were a busy group I cannot say enough about how great this hotel We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others

Tony Sabo

Excellent stay at this hotel As a diamond member, I felt appreciated right away At the front was JuJu who checked me in flawlessly and quickly while also recommending not only several high end restaurants in the area, which I needed for clients, but a few dive bars which I needed for myself and a few friends later on in the evening

The hotel itself was spotless as well as my room I can’t say enough about the people running the front desk and the bar There are a lot of choices in the area, but with these kind of people running the show, I’ll be back!

This is an awesome hidden gem in Pittsburgh The neighborhood is not the greatest, I would not recommend walking outside But as soon as you enter the doors, its a beautiful, quaint, very clean and welcoming hotel

The rooms were spacious, clean and nice We loved the front sitting room with the fire and the small bar The hotel staff were courteous and professional The morning pick up breakfast was tasty Worth the stop!

Jewell Bohlinger

The priory hotel was incredible It was my partner and I’s anniversary and they had the space so they just automatically upgraded the room and left flowers and a card Probably the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever received

Michael specifically was just amazing He checked us in and served us a drink at Pennsylvania’s smallest bar while also manning the front desk and regaled us with wonderful stories and was so attentive I loved this place Parking is convenient, inside is stunning, ever little bit of this place was magical and I miss it already

Phillipp Schmoll

If you’re familiar with European hotels you will love this hotel It’s charming, funky, historical and fun The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and as a New Yorker, I give it an A for hipness

What I wasn’t so happy about was the fact that it’s in a really bad neighborhood, and it’s right next to a noisy freeway A little overpriced for that reason, but otherwise a really nice place

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you choose this place you for sure will love it I’m sure! The hotel was extremely amazing and so was the staff I am a titanium Elite member and was welcomed and thanks for my loyalty upon arrival I was provided a corner Suite on the top floor as a gift for my graduation Renee was truly amazing as she helped me create the block of rooms for my event even with it being off of the hotel property Pittsburgh is my hometown and coming back to visit and getting the same treatment that I would get as if I was a resident is extremely amazing I will definitely be back looking forward to enjoying more of the property

While built in the 80’s along with the convention center, our room was comfortable and well maintained I might suggest a splash of color to love Up the dozen shades of beige… the bed is “heavenly”

There could have been a few more plugs People care more electronics than in the 80’s I did notice an odor in the air indicative of a ventilation system in need of cleaning The staff was very friendly in person and by chat The breakfast buffet was decent

The front desk team were very friendly and accommodating They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was wonderful I had no idea there were 2 weddings going on as the service was still perfect for me

However, I would be remiss if I didn’t speak on the breakfast buffet It was absolutely delicious! Hotels don’t provide this level of care to their customers anymore but The Doubletree in Cranberry does Ms Diane was so friendly and I had an opportunity to meet the chef and he was kind too Again, a great night’s sleep in a clean room, great customer service and delicious food give this hotel a try!

We were here for work, The Front Desk Staff were Great The wait staff at the Bar and Breakfast Table were great too, Enjoyed everything at this hotel The only complaint I would have is the people with kids that were there for a Hockey tournament need to be more respectful of other guests that would like to get a whole night’s sleep

The constant noise in the Hallway and the stomping on the floor in the room above mine, (Where did you learn to walk?)Kids overwhelm the elevators and other guests can’t even get on the elevator to get to their room, My Digital Key worked one time they even rest it and I ended up needing a room key card Not a big deal just wanted to point out how inconsiderate other guests can be

Family friendly hotel with spacious lobby and kid friendly pool Basic, but clean We purchased 3 rooms as a Gold HHonors Member

However, hotel policy only comps breakfast credit for 2 people max (even though 3 rooms with 6 total adults was purchased) Weird Would have rated higher Maybe book 3 separate reservations as a work around? Lady working bar was wonderful All considered, could see coming back with family

I am a returning customer and both experiences were great I’ve been traveling for work which requires me in Pittsburgh once or twice a month This hotel is situated nicely close to the office and good restaurants

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful Really one of the best crews I’ve seen Valet is excellent as well The interior is beautiful as you can see by the pictures and the rooms are cleanThe beds are surprisingly the most comfortable I’ve experienced Odd to say that, but it’s true Room service is excellentIt’s great experience overall Now in May I’m attempting to travel with family, so we will see how a toddler does I suppose we will see what it’s like not to have a kitchenetteAlso wheelchair friendly and accessible The sidewalk in Pittsburgh are just ok, but that has nothing to do with the hotel!

Great location in the Cultural District Staff was super polite and helpful Our room was decent

It was clean and the bed was really comfortable But it is in bad need of an update A couple pieces of furniture showed signs of minor damage, there were multiple holes in the drapes, and there was even a small hole in the fitted sheet on the bed And the chair in the room is terribly uncomfortable None of that would keep me from staying here again, but it will cause me to try a different hotel if available

For the money you pay the services should have been much better Requested extra towels, they never were delivered Reported that the tub was slow today and we were standing in ankle deep water

It never got fixed The rooms are lovely, the lobby is too, but for half the price you can stay at the Courtyard down the street The location at the Courtyard is a little closer to some fun bars and restaurants The Courtyard is a great property

BEWARE ABOUT PARKING!I was extremely upset that I was not informed that this hotel doesn’t offer on-site self-parking or valetI drove around the block of the downtown building three times, trying to find the parking lot or valet stand in the rain during rush hour until I called and was informed that there is no parking and to use the public garage off-site; two blocks awayBeing unfamiliar with the city, I unfortunately parked in the wrong garage, even further away, and had to haul multiple heavy bags to the hotel in the pouring rain, four blocks away

The unacceptable parking situation was not disclosed in any of my reservation emails, and I did not receive a courtesy call/message before my arrival informing me where I should park my carNot knowing this information ahead of time made my welcoming stay extremely unpleasant, especially when it was pouring rain and I had dinner reservations right after I checked inI now understand that the hotel does disclose the off-site parking, buried in the app under “what to expect”, then tapping “parking & transit,” then tapping “parking” Even with this, the hotel doesn’t share detailed parking information As this is very uncommon, for a hotel not to have parking or valet, this hotel needs to be upfront about it on the reservation page and send emails, calls/messages informing guests before their arrivalNot to mention, from the nearest garage, you need to walk down a dark stone/brick alleyway, which is not fun/safe, especially at night, as it’s an uneven surface on both the street and the tiny sidewalkIv never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have on-site self or valet parking available If I had known this, I would have never booked this hotel as I needed quick (and dry) access to my carOn the bright side, the room was clean & comfortable, even with the small entryway, which made bringing in multiple big bags a bit annoying

Hotel has been updated but rooms our consulting team were given under the government rate were the size of a postage stamp Parking was 2 blocks away One of our team members who drove there had a truck that wouldn’t fit in garage

Good news, hotel management let him park in employee parking Bad news, that was also size of postage stamp Very few extra amenities Although front desk staff was friendly they weren’t well trained Our reservations were held under our program managers name and we asked numerous times to place the stay under our names and Bonvoy accounts after we arrived They never did it correctly and now we are trying get credit through Bonvoy for our stays We will be staying at another hotel when we return for follow up meetings

Very noisy with poor soundproofing right next to huge motorway $28 offsite parking a few blocks away, no security at this place Hotel looks recently refurbished in general but cleanliness could be improved, there was a lot of dust in every corner even if most surfaces were cleaned and the bed linens were clean

When requesting a crib for an infant, which we had confirmed in advance existed, we got an unopened box with a foldable crib which we were expected to unpack and assemble by ourselvesElectricity plug socket not securely attached to the wall creating hazard for childrenA lot of really friendly body builders hang out in the hotel

Room was clean and reasonably priced Hotel was very busy so parking was packed Stayed here because there wasn’t any in Butler for the nights I wanted

My dad left some personal belongings and Diane called me to try to get in contact him Luckily we weren’t far and picked it up that night She was super helpful and honest Cleaning staff was helpful and honest as well

Evan Hunter

Not bad compared to some of the other options in the area Had one room with an issue with humidity but service staff helped resolve the issue quickly by putting us in another roomThe breakfast was surprisingly better than I had expected

Lots more options than some other continental breakfast: sausage, english muffin, bagel, waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs and coffee/tea/juice

Stayed 1 night on my own on late notice, everything went smoothly Room was very nice and well designed, two sides divided by a wall with the bed on one half and seating area on the other Room was clean, bed was comfy, towels etc provided

Didn’t take advantage of breakfast or pool but they are provided Great location situated between PNC Park and Heinz Field as well as the nearby Warhol Art Museum Would stay again!

Staff was great Breakfast was good hot food and all the muffins, bagels, fruits, cerals you could want I like the room layout with office, sitting area and divider between bed and rest

If I had to want more it would be that the room is little loud You can hear next door showers and AC is quite loud, may just be that it was very hot that day Killer spot if you are going to game Price was fair also I would recommend and stay again for sure Thanks to staff

Started at check in Was told my card would be charge a temporary hold of like $5 However, card went through on my end for $336

which was fine because that was my total costThe problem was, it did not go through on their end and she wanted to slide my card again Absolutely NOTshe called the manager and they placed $1 hold Was told everything would fall off and would need recharged Wellnothing ever “fell off” and everything was charged Even the extra $1 they charged meThen on to the room No garbage canno paper cups, no stationary or pens Furniture was rough and knicked up Dresser drawers were filthyBed was comfy on a positive noteGot up in the morning to get breakfast around 830 and staff was cleaning the windows in the hall It was horrible Dirt and dust everywhere in the hall and in the air Looks like they hadn’t cleaned in yearsNeedless to say I had reservations there for this weekend and cancelled I will never stay here again
