I stayed here for seven days July-August of this year This place is fantastic Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great pool and Tiki bar/restaurant

The staff was fantastic and very accommodating Cold A/C in the roomsThis is not the Ritz-Carlton and they’re not trying to be Nothing fancy but everything you needThe only “con” I have is that they could use some more healthy options at the restaurant!

Haley N

We had a wonderful time at the Tiki Hut Great entertainment and I have to give a shout out to the Bar Boy That kid looks to be loving life and always has a smile on his face

Also, the front desk ladies were very pleasant! The rooms are very simple and that’s just fine with us We only used them to sleep in 😀We will definitely consider this place again when we venture back to Florida

To anyone reading this that is looking for a HOTEL/RESORT, do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTSFirst of all, this is NOT a “resort,” this is a motel This is a fact

Go into street view to get a good look at the place from the outside along with the general area it’s in Then Google the definition of “motel”The photos they have on booking sites are all flattering angles of the few redeeming qualities of this place that are not at all worth the stay They knowingly omit and hide all of the unappealing things that greatly outweigh the goodHere’s my story: I booked this place for my mom to enjoy Mother’s day We were both under the impression that this would be a very nice resort to stay at because of the nice pictures they had and the overall star rating of the place We were both looking forward to it When we finally arrived, we almost immediately realized that this place is a motel We decided to still go ahead and check in The room was exactly what you would expect from a motel Low quality beds, a tiny television, a very weak air conditioner, etcWe thought it was a mistake and so we asked for another room, which they granted, and it was the same We paid about $160 for a night a crummy motel fronting as a resort What an absolute jokeLong story short, they denied our request for a refund and we found an actual hotel (Holiday Inn) literally one block from there for cheaper ($140) on a same day notice, providing a much higher quality experience I could see the miserable place from my balcony from how close it wasTrust me Avoid this place and save yourself the money and disappointment I was convinced that this place is a scam the second they refused to give me my money back Although I admittedly should have looked deeper into the place before booking it, a business with real integrity that stands by what it provides would not hesitate to provide a refund for an unsatisfied customer WHO DID NOT EVEN USE THEIR SERVICES There is no ethical justification to that and they simply took advantage of the fact that they are not obligated to provide a refund once the refund period has expiredEDIT in response to the owner’s smug response: The agency I paid through told me that the business must authorize the refund before they can go through with it Therefore your intentionally bad analogy of buying a book from Amazon and asking the author for a refund just reinforces the lack of integrity I initially wrote about Also, the prices I stated in my review were accurate for when we booked it, which was Mother’s DayHow about taking responsibility instead of trying to underhandedly save face while trying to seem like you are being graceful?

Very nice staff, room was clean, ample parking, and quiet About a 20 min drive to the beach (with mild traffic) which isn’t too bad Breakfast in the mornings were standard – self serve waffle, yogurt, eggs, sausage, muffins, stuff like that

We were trying to save a little bit of money by staying at a place away from the beach but the cost of parking and gas (especially now) makes up for it The hotel itself was very nice for the price

Star Lipe

The price was reasonable, nice room, pool, small workout room, and hot breakfast in the morning I was placed in a room that someone had previously smoked in at first (all rooms are non smoking, they just didn’t follow the rules) When I brought the smell up to the lady at the front desk she met me upstairs with keys for a new room immediately with no issue

F T

Stayed at the BW for 3 nights the room was nice the breakfast was nice there are a couple of things that I need to point out the bathroom is small just the tub/shower and toilet in the private bathroom which is a little different to me the sink is right outside the bathroom I also noticed that the coffee area that there was no seats The desk area had a seat and there was a sofa and a small living room seat

The thing that surprised me was that there were ants in the room, the crazy ants when I woke the up after the first day I noticed them I got some ant baits and after seeing them the whole day the next day they were gone and didn’t see them for the rest of my visit Also I want to say that the staff here are fantastic they go above and beyond to help Overall the stay was pleasant not overly noisy for a weekend would stay again The pool was also nice and the view was fare

The pool area was clean and nicely maintained No hot tub The room was clean and bed was comfortable

The pull out sofa bed was old and extremely uncomfortable The cushions sagged We had to purchase a foam mattress topper to make it able to be slept on Overall the stay was enjoyable We liked the location convenient to Sanibel and the excellent diner restaurants within walking distance to the property Good lower cost alternative close to the beaches without paying premium prices for a beachfront hotel

Margie Lieto

This hotel has the most professional, friendliest, courteous employees you could ever ask for I encountered at least a dozen during my stay One more pleasant than the next

The general manager is excellent You can see how she cares about her hotel guests and her employees Breakfast was wonderful and a different selection each day Pool is beautiful and clean Hotel and rooms are clean Do not ever go to the Holiday Inn express which is right next door They have the rudest employees, the Holiday inn express is dirty, when you walk in you are not welcomed Hampton inn and suites fort myers beach fl will give you a happy, memorable experience I will stay at the Hampton inn and suites again for sure!!

Chuck Stanford

GROSS!! If we weren’t so tired from traveling today we would have left immediately The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the tub would not drain out, the walls are paper thin, the power went out momentary but came back on Totally not recommended! Go next door to the Holiday Inn Express for the same price! That is where we will be tomorrow night

(The only nice thing we can say is the guy checking us on was very friendly)

Great place to stay Rooms clean, staff very friendly The breakfast is great as it changes up daily

We didn’t use the pool so I can’t say as to how that was but it looked well kept and didn’t ever seem too crowded The only thing that I would say would be a negative would be coffee lol, as a big coffee drinker the coffee they provide you to make in room is not very good but the coffee offered in lobby is great so stick to that if you drink coffee regularly

Michael C

Great location, within walking or short driving distance to places to eat, drink and shop Right next to I-75 Also next to a Hilton Garden Inn (👎🏽)

Front service desk was really good The manager reception at 5:30 was awesome, free snacks, beer and wine until 7 The room was huge with it own kitchenette The TV was a little old and outdated Free breakfast with a smile in the morning I previously stayed at the Garden Inn next door Avoid that one and stay at this Homewood instead I would definitely stay here again

Hot breakfast/Good coffee Cable TV SOFT BEDS! Ac & heater works great I slept great Bright white clean linens with nice, heavy comforters Plenty of towels and towelettes 5 star all around Thank you Hampton for providing a good stay!

Delanea Ouellette

Nice place; very clean – nice breakfast, great coffee!! Great location for our visit necessities as well Didn’t get to use it but nice pool area Friendly staff and nicely appointed room

Only “bad” thing is be sure to turn off the “master switch” by the door in the room, otherwise the bathroom light will come on by motion sensor in the middle of the night and is quite blinding It would be a better idea to have a “night light” scenario if you’re going to use a motion sensor I’m pretty much never disappointed at Hampton Inn when I travel

We are having a house built and it is taking way longer than we expected That being said we have been at this hotel for quite some time The staff is exceptional! We have had such a pleasant experience (we are still here)

The hotel is clean, guests are friendly The front desk staff and manager have gone above and beyond to make us comfortable Love Ana, Jessica, Margarita all have been great In this crazy time where it is difficult to keep a full staff this hotel hasn’t missed a beat The kitchen staff is friendly (all the staff is friendly!), and the food is always good! Stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Harlie Jackson

We stayed here before heading to our family vacation and had a great experience The 2 ladies that work at the front desk are so kind and positive They know what they’re doing and act like they want to be here

Our room was very clean and updated The lobby has lots of space and a great work space after checking out We didn’t love the breakfast, but you don’t stay at a hotel for the complimentary breakfast It’s located next to a bunch of places, we didn’t have a rental car and didn’t want to pay for an Uber so we walked the 15 minutes to go where needed We definitely have this place on our list to come back to in the future

Silas Umah

This hotel blew me away The rooms are not only spacious but extremely neat, organized and well kempt The hotel shuttle is very prompt, what an ecstatic feeling not to wait after a long flight

Hotel is close to the airport The customer service is professional and very knowledgeable This hotel is very generous in giving a sophisticated complimentary breakfast Amenities included are gym, outdoor pool to enjoy the radiant of the sun, restaurant, stove, microwave in your room etc It is like a home away from home I can’t think of anything to complain about Please give this a try if you are in the area Very highly recommended

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here at Latitude 26! I stayed here in October with 2 friends The staff were all very personable, friendly and more than willing to help with any request The amenities were unlike any hotel I had stayed at anywhere else

Gas BBQ grill, gas flat top grill, outdoor gas fire tables just to name a few all of which we used with zero problem! The pool was phenomenal and the view at the back of the property was amazing as well! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re ever visiting Ft Myers! The location is just minutes away from “Times Square” and several entrances to the beach!

The Hyatt Place hotel is a well-furnished hotel in a convenient area Check-in was smooth and all of the employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful Our room was modern and furnished very nicely

The bed was very comfortable Our shower got warm very quickly, maybe a bit too hot as well, but that’s not a bad complaint Our room had a wraparound couch, an ottoman, a nice smaller desk, and a small kitchen area with a refrigerator and coffee maker Although our room did lack a microwave We chose to have breakfast and in my opinion, it was above average The lobby had bagels, bread for toast, fresh fruit, a cereal selection, eggs, hash, and sausages Accompanied by orange juice, apple juice, and milkOverall, our stay was very comfortable, clean, and affordable I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area

Nancy Castellon

I must confess, I honestly figured it was going to be a great room since it is the Hyatt But I was disappointed about them not having microwave in the rooms I asked the lady in the counter, she said we only have one in the lobby

For me it was a big disappointment, I have a little that drinks milk Having to go down from the 3rd floor to warm her milk 😔not a very good sign I also the lighting in the half-ways need to be fixed, for sure we need more light 💡 Breakfast was great, I must give them that credit One day we had sausage, eggs plus cereal and bagels Next day it was eggs , bacon, french toast plus cereals , fruits and bagels I did see they had a Starbucks inside right next to the check in desk Overall, it was an ok , not a hotel that I would visit again The pool was nice

Janese Harvey

I’ve stayed at several Hyatt Place Hotels and this location is the most dated hotel The doors and carpet throughout the hallways were wornThe metal surfaces on the elevator was nasty

I was definitely misled by the photos on the website This hotels decor looks like the decor from 10 years ago when I first stayed at a Hyatt I am very much disappointed It’s 2022 please step up your game

We were so pleased with our stay! We went on a family vacation and had no clue what to do and where to stay Our stay was great, clean rooms, friendly staff

they gave us great recommendations for family stuff to do in the area! I thought it was weird the bathroom door didn’t have a lock on it but that’s was minor We would absolutely stay here again!

Pamela F

If you have children & are planning to stay a couple of days, then I’d say you can “tough it out” The pool/sun tanning area in the back courtyard is perfect for kids & adult relaxation (no lifeguard) It’s updated & has lots of “curb appeal’

But if you’re a couple & want a better or upgraded experience, this may not be the hotel for you No central air Their units work, but not at optimal performance The room is musty & damp The rug never seems to be 100% dry I think the filters need to cleaned or replaced Mattress too “sunk-in” Staff friendly Excellent parking (front & rear)

Susie

Our morning flight was canceled and we quickly booked a room at the Crowne Plaza Ft Myers at Bell Towers Megan, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and understanding

She held our bags and let us know as soon as our room was ready (way ahead of check in time) Restaurant staff and housekeeping/maintenance staff were also helpful and courteous Nice workout facility and pool This is a great location with plenty of things to do to fill a day of unexpected down time

It’s a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff Maria at the front desk was very professional and accommodating at check in and also very friendly and courteous We canceled a reservation at a different hotel and extended here because of the staff

The outdoor setting is beautiful to sit and eat breakfast by the fire pit! The rooms are so clean and welcoming as well Management is definitely doing an amazing job thank you for you amazing hospitality!!

Wickedly Purrfect

Our room was cleaned and stay was great Breakfast was okay, grab and go on most days of souffle and breakfast sandwiches except on Saturday-they have scramble eggs and bacon computer access with printer

The gym is open 24 hours and they have some treadmill, elliptical, cycles, and weights to use Laundry facility has two washing machine and dryers Overall friendly staff except for the two days where the breakfast server was grumpy and clearly doesn’t like working there-she complains about everything and everyone right in front of you Close by and short distance drive to Naples, Sanibel’s Island, Fort Myers

Iris Ruby Padilla-Roberts

Terrible breakfast experiences Management tagged no ownership and just throws some rewards points your way that still won’t feed your family when the refrigerator breaks and your groceries also go bad Details below

On Sunday morning, they’re was NO BREAKFAST LEFT about an hour before breakfast was over, to explain, there was no bread, no bagels, no warn breakfast, no coffee, not even a toaster left This is not just items missing, this was no breakfast It gets even worse when your employees start trying to explain it off with random excuses which really irritated me because I dislike being lied to To explain some of the excuses:1- Toasters were no longer allowed because guests were leaving things in it and the smoke would activate the alarms (mind you, the toaster was there the previous day, and also the following morning) great job blaming your Marriott guests2- They also told my father that they also discontinued bagels We countered that we saw bagels the day before and were told that yesterday was the last day for bagelsThe biggest issue for me is that one of the reasons why I booked this hotel was because of the included breakfast and the reasoning behind this is that I was on a very special 4 generation trip to Naples with my baby, my cancer patient dad and my 87-year-old grandma My plan was to avoid exposure to C-19 as much as possible for themAfter this issue on Sunday I had a lot of trouble finding breakfast for them considering it was mid morning on Sunday It was not funSunday afternoon I decide to get some cold cuts, cheeses, juices and milk and leave them in the refrigerator in preparation for an issue on Monday morningMonday morning, no bagels, no bread, only cake pieces and jalapeño cheese muffins apart from sweet cereals ( None of us eat jalapenos for breakfast ) My only option was soggy sausage sandwiches (see pic below) No one wanted to eat them of courseThis obviously was a second failed breakfast so I turned to the items I purchased the day before and Surprise! My refrigerator was hot inside and out was all ruined the food, babies milk etc I reported this to your front desk by phone I’m polite so I cleaned out the food and informed there was ruined food in the trash so they would go get it out as soon as possible and not stink up the room for your next guests I also let front desk know the back of the refrigerator was a block of ice so they needed to defrost it

Love this place!! We have stayed here twice now and it’s been perfect both times: impeccably clean rooms, delicious bountiful breakfast, and super nice staff Beautiful new building and rooms! Easy and friendly check in and check out Very centrally located but a vehicle is definitely necessary

I’m so confused by all of the negative reviews; the breakfast provided is hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and cinnamon buns Also, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, and yogurt, this is plenty in my opinion?! There is definitely a lot of waste as a result of the plastic utensils and plates, but this is probably due to the Covid silliness We brought our own reusable utensils and cups to reduce waste And yes the pool closes at sunset, deal with it! It’s probably an insurance thing like everything these days If you’re looking for a clean, well-priced convenient hotel, book this Holiday Inn Express! Will stay again!

Tara Kysar

Very nice motel Close to everything we needed We stayed 6 nights and they gave 2 washcloths and 2 towels for 3 people

Since no house keeping, which is fine with me, I think they need to give at least half the stay amount of washcloths and towels for each guest They were quick to give more when we asked Pool is small and they should put out at least two more lounge chairs There’s only 2 right nowwould stay here again

the location Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft Myers Beach-Sanibel Gateway, an IHG Hotel was Super clean and brand new Our bathroom was spotless and the rugs throughout are brand new 83

22 Our breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy Muffins, hot cinnamon rolls and great coffee, along with the basics of cold cereal and oatmeal and fruit The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was due to the pool area which is rather small New and clean, but small, but it did do the trick after a hot day at the beach!

Comfortable bed and clean roombreakfast really needs improvement Waffles stick to the pan, and butter should be room temperature, can’t melt on a waffle when it’s hard

Eggs are definitely water logged, bacon isn’t crispy and the breakfast setup is unorganized if I was boss of the breakfast station, it would be so much bettergoing to McDonald’s tomorrow morning 🌞🌄🌅

Great check in service Asked for a different room and was given the one next door, told me if i wasn’t satisfied to ask for a new one and she would be more than happy to do so, as soon as i left management and housekeeping inspected room to make needed improvements, it was good to see they actually did something after me mentioning it to them, breakfast was good, easy checkout

Great resort right on beach with everything you need right on site The room was clean, beds comfy, and plenty of toiletries available Kitchenette allowed us to make breakfast daily in room and small but deep fridge held all our drinks and snacks for room easily

2 pools on site helped the pools not get overcrowded, and resort also provided beach chairs at no charge as well as the 2 chests filled with sand toys was a nice bonus for my little guy They also have BBQ grills on site and many families were taking advantage of them Will definitely be returning!!!

My stay at Neptune was great! It was super nice, clean, and comfortable I booked the room last minute on the fourth, because I had just planned to go to the beach for the day I forget the name of the lady at the front desk working (she had red hair), but she was amazing and so friendly

She did everything she could to accommodate me when I checked in I booked the room last minute and she made sure I got the best room she could give me that was available It’s also in a great location! It’s right on the beach and has a huge beach front It’s a close walk to a bunch of the bars and restaurants I highly recommend staying here!

Upgraded us to a better room because there was availability! We didn’t even ask! That’s service ! 2 pools to enjoy as well as the beautiful beach! Complimentary water in lobby along with a little snack section for purchase Close to town and great little food shops and restaurants close too! Amazing views and each room has little efficiency Staff friendly and kind

This was a day of reservation and it surpasses our expectations!

We really enjoyed our stay here Clean rooms, great location, free chairs and umbrellas for the beach, beach towels, comfortable king bed, clean bathroom, warm pool, nice seating under an overhang if it is raining, owners and cleaning crew were kind and respectful, free coffee in the morning, and we could even check in early since our room was ready (or leave our bags at the front) I highly recommend for someone traveling on a budget but not wanting to sacrifice comfort

It isn’t a resort, but it is way better than your average motel New floors and paint in rooms made it feel updated One recommendation: A quick power wash of the siding would really clean up the exterior appearance!

Chris Vrabel

The rooms here are very basic and have not been updated in a long time The room I stayed in had a pretty strong musty odor that stuck with us on our clothes and luggage The front desk staff are not in the office during office hours and instead have you push a button for service

We waited anywhere from 5-10 minutes for help during times that should have been staffedThere is quite a bit of noise at night from the main road and from other rooms/tenants The rooms do no block much noiseLocation near the beach is the only positive

The worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced My husband and I reserved this place for our honeymoon It had a great location and we were honestly excited

However, the day before our trip we tried to check in and we realized we couldn’t because we are both under 25 years old, a policy that should be stated clearly in their booking process We tried to call the hotel and ask for an exception as we were not going there to “party” but for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our wedding We had no response We called several times at 11am and nobody answered We unfortunately had to cancel, and they are refusing to give us a full refund because of “their policy” It is imposible to reach them unless you use a third party Thankfully we used Expedia, because I don’t think we could have reached them without them Awful experience Beware

So so happy with our experience!! Check in was super simple & speedy The room was clean and spacious We checked in for one night, in the middle of the week and because they were slow they upgraded us from a regular room to a waterfront suite, at no extra charge

That was so thoughtful and we really appreciated that gift We spent the entire evening watching a gorgeous sunset from our balcony Thank you for great service and a beautiful room! I just have to share a picture because it was breathtaking No filters needed 🙂

Julia Kelley

Wonderful location The views are beautiful! Quick walk to restaurants and shopping Mr Bob the night security officer was super helpful! Heads up: the tiki bar has not yet reopened :/ The new owner stated they are working hard to complete that project

Nothing fancy about the room but it was fine for what we needed Clean and comfortable!Would definitely stay again!

Cynthia Drake Morrow

You can tell this used to be a nice place but staffing shortages have hit hard They would not clean the room while we were here—not even once—and the pool was dirty The little bar by the pool didn’t open the entire time we were here

There were bugs all around the pool area I can tell the owner is trying, but ultimately, I’m sorry we stayed here

All right pros and cons here they arePROS:1- The room were very spacious2- Clean room no smell no bugs

3- There was a dehumidifier in the room4- Furniture was comfortable including the beds5- The bathroom was very clean no sign of mold or mildew6- It looks like this location had been renovated and the workers that did the work did a very professional job There were no paint splatters, messed up caulking, scratches or anything else in the room that I could see7- There is large size flat screen on the wall8- They provide wall mounted shampoo and body soap in the shower9- Plenty of parking Now you probably won’t be able to get a semi/tractor trailer in here, but I do have a full size pickup truck with a small trailer and had no problems10- easy check in and check out even though it’s done through a video kioskCONS:1- There is no personal interaction with front desk staff It’s all done with a video kiosk in the corner2- to me the price was a little high, but it was still lower than the surrounding hotels in the areaAll in all I would recommend this hotel to anybody that is staying in the area

Pedro Longa

My stay with my family was really good in this hotel The rooms are completely clean and smell good, the lobby looks great, the attention is good, every morning they offer breakfast, something simple but it’s good The hotel is close to everything, 10 minutes from the airport

The only detail I found was that the pool was closed during my entire stay, this is something negative for a hotel in Florida, just for that I give them 4 stars If the pool worked I would give them 5 stars

Jeff O

I’ve stayed here multiple time for 2-4 night stays I’ve stayed at many of the nearby hotels in the same price range and they are terrible This hotel has become my go to for the price

The hotel is…CleanQuietExterior is clean and looks greatRooms are updatedBeds comfortableRooms cleanBathrooms cleanAlways hot waterNever had the breakfast, though smells goodSAFEI’m surprised by the hotel each time I stay there, meaning, it’s greatPlenty of parkingCheckin- some many complain Here’s the story It’s virtual abs EASY The attendant is always friendly, you can hear and see them clearly Takes about 3 minutes and you have the room keyThere is always someone on siteI highly recommend staying here

This place is a hidden gem!! Adorable little cottages all around a lake The view from the room is gorgeous, a healthy lake filled with fish and turtles to watch to your delight The property is large and has space to walk on a boardwalk, you can even take a kayak onto Billy’s Creek if you have the time

Rooms feel recently renovated and have little kitchenettes along with everything you need to cook Don’t see that very often Staff is super friendly Loved it!

wimmobo

We enjoyed the small patio and the view over the lakeThere is a small pool for a nice swimAt the back of the resort is a small boardwalk, it’s feels you are in the swamps Be aware of the alligators

I agree the rooms are a bit outdated but the location to everything makes up for that The bars, restaurants, and entertainment was excellent The bartenders and waitresses were amazing each day and night

The Sundeck was our favorite place, Jeremy took amazing care of us The drinks were strong and came as quick as you needed them The view was great The beach was clean and nice Walking distance to other bars and restaurants Will be back for sure

Lourdes Morales

Great location Food and drinks are really expensive However, you will find affordable prices within a short walk

Rooms need TLC (dirty drapes and walls) and the noise level is way too high past midnight Yes, music from 8 pm to 12 am However, the lack of consideration by guests is beyond words Either too drunk or really don’t care about anyone else Be aware of the additional taxes imposed in addition to the beach resort and state tax Bed Tax? Really? There is only one shower in the pool area We were trying to minimize the amount of sand coming into the resort (elevator, hallway, and room) If you want to feel like you are on spring break all the time, go for it

Lindsey Freitag

This is a ‘young people’ resort with a 5 star restaurant on the top floor Amazing music played at night by a live band Definitely not a place for kids or people who want quiet and relaxation

More a party crowd, which is fine because that is what some people go on vacation for Rooms were very clean Staff was amazing and on point Only wish is that I knew about this place when I was younger!!
