We had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and it was very quiet and relaxing The other thing that made the trip so pleasant were the other customers, who we’re very friendly and courteous, we had some very nice conversations

This hotel is right off the main road surrounded by restaurants and shopping, very convenient location! We will definitely be returning to this hotel on our next trip to New Jersey! 🤗

Very nice and very comfortable I loved my stay there Price was a little extravagant, but I guess that’s everywhere now, but I didn’t mind it because I was able to rest

Another thing I liked about this hotel was I didn’t here other people talking nor did I here people running up the hallway I so appreciated that My stay was very nice!!!

**Original Review: The air conditioner unit broke during our stay there in June The room went up to 80 degrees, they told us tough luck and would not move us to a new room which could accommodate 4 people I do not recommend this hotel at all

**Edited on 6/10/22: The hotel contacted me about my review and we worked it out I changed my review from 1-star to 3-star The experience was still negative (hence 3-star review), however the hotel reimbursed me for some of the costs which I appreciate

If I could give them 10 stars, I would We stay in hotels that are comparable to SpringHill in Voorhees for dance competitions, this one is my favorite The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is great (love the waffles), staff assisting with breakfast were extremely effective

Rooms were clean and fresh The shower had a feature that streams water at your back The rooms are well lit It is definitely kid friendly and is always packed will well mannered kids for tournaments and competitions I think the pool was closed but since COVID, that doesn’t surprise me Not a great picture and it is only part of the breakfast, but…

Faron Miller

A good experience overall Nice size room at a reasonable price Only two issues with our room: the shower head felt like it was going to fall off when adjusting the tilt and the mini fridge tipped forward when opening the door

One general issue with SpringHill Suites is the sliding bathroom doors don’t usually lock Love the included breakfast!

I was hoping to not write a negative review, but this was a horrible stayWe got here around 6pm, when we walked in our room was at 77f We set the thermostat to 68f and went to dinner

at 8pm it was still 77fCalled the front desk to see if someone could look at it, they sent someone and they suggested changing the temperature to 62fThis hasn’t changed anythingI called them to let them know at 9pm to see if we can switch rooms They said they would have to speak to management as other rooms of the are booked, but they would let us know I told them we have a little one that needs to get sleep soon, so please let us know ASAP40 mins later and still waitingcalled back and there apparently was a miscommunication and they thought the AC was fixed, so they never called backI explained again it wasn’t fixed, I have a wife who is 7 months pregnant and a 2 1/2 year old, so I need some kind of answerI was told they would check with their manager again (via text) and they would again let me knowAbout 15 minutes later the front desk called to say their manager said there is nothing they can do and the room just needs time to cool down#1 they don’t understand how HVAC systems work, it doesn’t take over 4 hours to cool down a room 1 degree and mind you at the time if writing this it’s 10:10pm and 70f outside#2 they clearly don’t care about their guestsAs Marriott owners we usually have a good experience, this however was notWe understand things happen, but the lack of communication and service is inexcusable

My husband and I want to express how much we enjoyed our stay at your hotel We enjoyed your hospitality from the time we walked through the doors Our first encounter was with Ray the GM at the front desk who treated us like royalty

From then on, every encounter with your personnel was excellent We have been in the hospitality business all our lives and we know that to attain that level of service is true dedication to the industry Keep up the great work, have a very prosperous and successful season Once again thank you

Courtney Lee

Did not appreciate the customer service! I got woken up by house keeping asking what time I was going to check out at least 2 hours before check out time Needless to say when I checked in they did not confirm the accuracy of my reservation and I thought I was staying two nights Then less than 5 minutes later before I could check my reservation someone came to my door and rudely gave me attitude how I needed to be at the front desk to clear up the miscommunication about my reservation

Meanwhile I literally was still in my pajamas! I told them someone would call the front desk and they said no the person who made the reservation had to be at the front desk in person I also did not appreciate how he wasn’t wearing a mask! Why do they have signs everywhere saying masks are mandatory per law yes they will give you attitude right in your face without a mask! This person should be appropriately reprehended on appropriate customer service So distasteful

I could not leave this establishment without first leaving a review of the quality of care and cleanliness that I experienced during my stay The room was not only promised to be clean, but was met with great follow-through There were a couple of issues, for one, the card key didn’t work well which made coming in and out of the hotel inconvenient if not parked in the main parking lot

It was also inconvenient to go up to our room only to have to return back to the lobby to get the key reset (more than once) The second issue that we came across was the lack of parking space The lot was full and we had to park on the side street late at night Apparently there is overflow parking here in another lot, but we were not aware of this as it is not aforementioned on paperwork or by the staff upon arrival Upon departure we saw that we had received a parking ticket Now although these occurances could have been negative complaints, as you can see by my 5 Star rating, we have left here today extremely happy When I approached the manager, Ray, about these issues he was kind, professional and sincerely concerned He made it a point to remedy the stresses for us with a huge smile and a huge heart Other staff members, cleaning service and front desk help, were kind and helpful as well Due to the level of courtesy, cleanliness and impeccable customer care I not only give this hotel my 5 Star rating but I also look forward to staying here once again knowing that even if things don’t go perfectly, as they often don’t in life, the staff here knows how to give the very best care! Thank you!!

The room was okay The tub was very small, bed was comfortable pillows were amazing No shampoo conditioner and body wash like all the other Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at

And Breakfast you’d think it’d be complementary, nope 1195+ tax per person, for the exact same food they serve at other Holiday Inns that they give complementary, and it’s not even that good I mean it’s better than what you would get at other motel/hotels, but definitely not worth the price

Randy Whisnant

I stay in a lot of hotels with the majority being Holiday The lobby in this hotel is lovely Really grade A design on it

We had dinner at the bar and Jade was extraordinaryAs for the rest it was a mixture of meh and awful The front desk was polite enough but not engaging You just got the feeling that they’d rather be doing something else The room design was nice and large but the walls and ceiling has cracks in it The chairs in the room were quite comfortable but the bed was just awful Very hard and unforgiving I hurt from it all night long on both nights here The shower was also awful Between low water pressure and the shower head being clogged it felt like I was showering under a water hoseIt’s really a shame because with just a few changes this hotel could be a really good place

Holiday inn Philadelphia South swedesboro New Jersey The hotel appears to be constructed within the last few years, from what I can tell That would mean the rooms, should look pretty decent, and the lobby and such should look the same way

I mean, it’s a holiday inn, not a Hilton I did enjoy my stay, nothing more, nothing less One of the main reasons for the 4 star They have complimentary breakfast They show a menu with eggs, amongst other things Yet, you won’t receive eggs, amongst other things You will receive granola bars, a small box of cereal, banana and spoiled milk Yes, spoiled milk Now, if it wasn’t for what was next it would be a 3 star review I stayed a few nights, and decided to sit at the bar and have a beer Jackie, one of the wait staff members, was so welcoming I just got off work, and was rushing to grab a beer and a burger She made sure I had time to enjoy my food and 2 beers before closing That goes a long way with me The location of the hotel is pretty good It has restaurants in the area, and grocery stores down the road Again, it was okay Could have been better, but the service was spot on Thanks Jackie

This place is brand new and very nice The rooms look nice and are clean Staff was helpful and friendly

But if u need rest, find someplace else This place was built very much on the cheap You can hear normal conversations between rooms and if you’re not on the top floor get ready to hear every footstep of the people above you You’ll also get the enjoy the roar of the highway and every car that passes by in the parking lots At almost 300$ for the night you can do much better

Shereen Xavier

First of all this hotel is so concerned about saving their towels and cups over guest satisfaction We had one large towel and 3 floor mats when we first came in They don’t offer housekeeping even if you request it unless u stay there for over 5 days

When asked for fresh towels they made us bring the old towel to the lobby!!! Like what the hell? We def do not recommend this hotel, we had yo stay here because it was part of a wedding block They need a refresher course on hospitality since they are in the hotel business

Jerit George

I usually will write a negative review if a place deserves one but I enjoyed my stay here Went for a cousins wedding for 2 nights and the process was very smooth Nice rooms, not too expensive

Staff was great, Jocelyn at the front desk was very nice and even arranged for me to get some room swaps because the sleeper sofa was not available Also they had no problem with us enjoying some drinks on the lobby and making me some key cards when I misplaced them On top of that, my father forgot his breathing machine in the room and they boxed it up and shipped it out via FedEx after I sent them the label, thanks Larry! Thank you for a great weekend!

We recently stayed for a week and loved it! Yvonne & Jake were wonderful hosts and they make sure you have everything you need for a lovely stay It was the perfect place to base ourselves while visiting relatives in the area, day trips to the shore, or just taking an easy walk to shops and restaurants on the main street or around the historic Pitman Grove The Inn is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable (I’ve read this in other reviews too)

We enjoyed our excellent breakfast each morning out on the porch We were surprised how quiet it was in our room even when all of the rooms were occupied We look forward to staying here again!

Latisha M

We were looking for a short overnight getaway for our honeymoon when I stumbled across a listing for The Inn at Holly We were so happy with our stay! We made the trip from Northern NJ and it was worth it Jake and Yvonne we’re very gracious

The Inn was clean, quaint, peaceful, and located in a very nice location of town We had such a relaxing time and will definitely be back to visit again

Every bit as charming, cute, and clean as it looks in the photos! We stayed here for a night for our wedding anniversary Loved that we could walk to down for good food and ice cream The carriage house is so cute and nice to hang out in after we came back from dinner

My husband and I found this place through passing while running from the rain on our Harley Davidson and all we have are very pleasant things to say about this beautiful hotel Not only was the room spacious and very clean but the staff was very helpful, professional and pleasant In checking out on may 23rd I needed some windex to clean the bike windshield and a young gentleman working the front desk that morning was more then happy to supply me with paper towels and some cleaner for the bike

He was also very helpful to my husband when asked what roads would be the best to ride on He even insisted on getting another local individual that worked at the hotel so he could make sure the information he was giving was correct I really Wish I remembered the young man’s name but very happy with our stay Thank you so much to the gentleman working the desk that morning!

We traveled for 13 hours today We had booked through Marriott Bonvoy When we arrived we were greeted by being told our reservation was canceled

We received no notice of thisJoshua was very rude He would not let us us the hotel phone nor check for neighboring properties to house usWe asked for the corporate number and we’re told he did not know it I videoed him giving me this false information He realized he was being recorded and miraculously came up with the number We were then directed to a phoneCorporate directed us to a hotel in another state Not good business No manager on duty We had to leave which I feel was very dangerous as we are exhausted I have been a Marriott member for over 30 + yearsI will blast this review on social media and trip advisorI had asked for a pillow n blanket so we could stay in the lobby to refresh and were told if we stayed Joshua would call the police for trespassing! Really? The insult to injury was unbelievable!! This place need some serious customer service education And, maybe better employees and a manager on site I will never recommend a Marriott property to anyone Just totally disgusted with the way this situation was handled

Geraldine Martin

I hate having to give a review that isn’t perfect, however I am disappointed in the service I received this weekend We arrived around 10am for an early check-in I was greeted with attitude no good morning nothing, it was as if my arrival interrupted whatever she was doing

I said to my daughter maybe she’s having a rough start but her energy was definitely off On Friday I called the front desk and spoke with the same young lady I asked for bathroom supplies which she stated it would be sent right up One hour later my daughter called asking about service and again was told will be right up Two and half hours later I called the front desk asking for the corporate office phone number and at this point the young lady stated the phone ringing was housekeeping manager calling to tell her they were bringing my items up to me Not even 5 minutes later someone is knocking on my door This is unacceptable and unprofessional I constantly use the Courtyard for my trips however the young lady have me thinking 🤔 about other hotel options

Overall, great! Complimentary breakfast was lacking Could have communicated more clearly about what the procedures for the room service involved and given a possible time when to expect them after letting them know you wanted the service Toilet got clogged and it was handled quickly by a kind maintenance guy

All the staff were kind and their snack bar was decent with the variety More washers and dryers in a bigger laundry room would have been nice as they only had one set and they were always in use when I checked, wanting to use them I loved my room so much I didn’t want to leave when my 8 night stay was over Even one of the people at the desk were sad I was leaving

Tammy Long

If you look at my pics you’ll see this place is pet friendly!!! Newly renovated and well maintained The staff is very helpful and friendly I would recommend this hotel and plan on returning when in the area

I don’t really like the new renovations the Hampton and Homewood suites are doing they are going from warm and welcoming to cold and sterile and they really need to put night tables or shelves on both sides of the bed because I ended up with a chair beside the bed for my cell phone and glasses but it certainly won’t stop me from returning here Terrific friendly staff, good breakfast, clean laundry facilities, free parking and a reasonable pet fee are some of the reasons we like this Hampton inn

Aubrey Nesbitt

The sweet lady helping serve breakfast was an absolute delight! She was very kind to our children even helping them make their waffles and offered chocolate chips :)The evening clerk was so kind! We got in very late and she was very nice and professional

even bringing us extra blankets and towels to our roomComfy beds and a clean room made for a great night’s sleep as we now continue on our way up 95THANK YOU!!!

It is a little old/showing it’s age and in general it’s what you’d expect from a lower price hotel near the airport; however 5 stars for the people Everyone who works here is friendly, helpful, quick to solve a problem Truly great customer service which is super hard to find

Also the shower was newly renovated and very clear and the towels felt new, thick and soft! Free airport shuttle too

we stayed just for a night prior to an early morning flight Room was clean Shuttle was on time and easy to catch on the way back

Parking at the hotel while we were away was super cheap (approx $1250 per night) Their lot seemed fairly safe – I didn’t have any qualms about keeping my car there I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on driving to it and parking your car there while you travel

We like to stay out by the airport when we come back to Philly It’s convenient for my family when we fly and also when we decide to drive from South Carolina We have seen a decline in our regular hotels and have had bad luck trying new places as there seems to be more and more people using the hotels as their homes

This place was nice, clean and quiet The staff was courteous and the on-site bar was definitely a plus when we were unexpectedly snowed in This mat be our new regular place to stay when we come to town
