The building is beautiful and holds lots of history and character The rooms were great! When we arrived the front desk person didn’t greet me or give me her full attention The phone kept ringing and she didn’t ignore it for me

Being the paying customer, I would have expected more of a warm welcome Being from out of town, I was not informed ahead of time the need to pay for valet parking each night of $32 We were lucky enough to find meter parking in the street instead but very frustrating, especially when you aren’t expecting it The rooms were beautiful, comfy bed, and a lot to offer in the room since it comes with a full kitchen The hotel itself doesn’t include a pool or Jacuzzi but does have a workout room Given we were there for an anniversary trip, we would have preferred the pool/jacuzzi The location was ok but not very close for walking to places Overall, a cool place to stay but not totally worth it

Blue Buterfly

The building itself is worth visiting! They’ve done an amazing job remodeling the old PBR brewery I loved the exposed brick and looking up into the copper kettles Room was clean and comfortable

Would have liked a fan in the bathroom but it was also clean Front desk was friendly and knowledgeable about the building and area Discovered after leaving my (extremely sentimental) necklace fell off while sleeping and they found it and mailed it to me THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!!! You’ll never know how much it means to me to have it back Positive experience, would stay again

Raven Parkos

Beautiful building, lovely wonderful staffI loved exploring the building, it’s beautiful and the architecture is breathtaking A great place if you’re into photography or history Breakfast was super limited, but there’s other options close by

Valet parking was $32 a night but honestly not a deal breaker for the level of convenience they offer All around a great stay!!!

I liked the place A lot of what other negative reviewers state is true: super small bathrooms, old furniture and patch jobs here and there But who cares

The beds were super comfy, shower was nice and hot, TV was nice It’s a good hotel despite its age The rooms are reasonably priced and ALL the staff were incredibly nice and helpful If you want a gigantic bathroom and the newest furniture possible then stay at a $400 a night hotel The only reason I docked it 2 stars is they have what would normally be a complimentary breakfast bar at hotelsit was $18 freaking…COME ON HYATT!!!

Debbie Matheny

The hotel is decent Our room was a king size room with a ‘city view’ The view was of construction

No big deal! The location to our venue was within walking distance The real issue was the fact that the hotel charged my credit card $41869 and states they only charged me $34891 (with a reimbursement of $50 for incidentals) leaving my total bill at $29891 after the reimbursement My Visa bill still shows a charge of $41869 Customer service was absolutely no help at all just wanting to speak with my bank I definitely do NOT recommend this hotel 🥲

Jennifer Bird

I booked this hotel as the ratings were better then another hotel in the area I myself work in a hotel so I was disappointed in the hyatt and its cleanliness The parking garage elevator and stairs were disgusting, the hotel elevators were also disgusting

I couldn’t believe that there was no mattress protector or bottom sheet on the bed as well The room was a good size and clean but the carpet looks like it needs to be cleaned Bathroom was small and the shower head and bathtub faucet sprayed every which way but down The front desk was great though Super nice even though they could see I was in a not so great mood I’m sorry but I’ve paid way less for nicer hotels that have things included so why I paid this much for a room and then having to pay $24 for overnight parking when there is no breakfast or pool was crazy to me I will not stay here again

Kayleigh Lowery

Front desk and breakfast staff were helpful and friendly Very spacious rooms but need updating Full kitchen but extremely limited cookware- we had to request a frying pan

Only complaint is housekeeping- we stayed for about a month between homes and requested housekeeping weekly They never changed the sheets, didn’t vacuum, didnt wipe down surfaces and left some trash cans full The only way I could tell they were even there was because we got fresh towels and shampoo

magdalena rosario

It room was clean and bed was comfortable We would have rated better but no hot water had to take shower in another room after calling several times to guest services We were locked put of our room due to batteries died so our card did not work

There was no compensation for all the inconveniences I have stayed at many Residents in and never had as many issues

Charlice M Drexler

I scheduled a room and was put in room 702 I liked the layout of the room with tall ceiling and large window As soon as I got inside I went straight to the bathroom, the toilet looked like it did not clean for weeks

Full of stains of people’s business in their The carpet has stains on it The tub was rusty, the kitchen counter and microwave were dirty I had to talk to front desk person and she sent someone to clean the room I was supposed to stay there for 7 nights I was so unhappy I did not want to be charged for last minute cancellation so I only stayed for 2 nights To tell you the truth, I will never stay in this hotel nor will I let anyone I know stay in this place

Although my stays are comped, I do feel the rooms could be cleaner, vacuuming everywhere and shampooing the carpets more often would be welcome Sometimes the room was spotless but the tables were not wiped off The biggest issues for me is that it would be nice if they could monitor guest smoking marijuana in the rooms and hallways

If there was a microwave in each room, that would be amazing Overall I enjoy my stay and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating

Sara Bella

The hotel was very nice Our room was large, cleaned, and well kept The bed was soft with 4 nice pillows

The bathroom was cleaned and fully stocked The casino had many fun games, we enjoyed our time on multiple machines Very disappointed when the restaurant closed 2 hours earlier and the bars on the casino floor where under staffed

Alice Cartwright

My friend and I stopped by yesterday and got some lunch to go but it was a good experience but I don’t gamble but there was a lots of people playing the colts that seemed to be enjoying themselves and having a good timeThe food was delicious and I enjoyed it tooThe place is clean and the workers are kind and friendly and I like thatSo if you like to gamble it ‘s the place to check ✔️ out or if you just want to get something to eat the food is good

Was able to get a ton of miles on my advantage account while enjoying a stay here Some of the staff were really nice and a couple were not so pleasant but that’s in it I guess The valet service was top notch all four employees on the different shifts were very helpful and super friendly

The pool table in the lobby was a fun addition to the experience Maybe the thermostat could have gone higher than 75f in the room but other than that everything was clean and perfect We had one issue where we requested a late checkout and the front desk gave us till 1pm at check in but the next day staff was knocking on our door They were very pleasant and accommodating when we told them about the late checkout requested we just wished the shift evening before had noted that so we didn’t have to go through the awkward encounter of having to explain why we were still in the room after 12pm Beyond that, highly recommend if you can afford(it’s not budget friendly) and will be in Milwaukee looking for a nice place to stay

Meena Y

Stayed here for a week on a business trip and I can say I enjoyed my experience Everyone on the staff that I came into contact with was hospitable, warm, and helpful The room was clean (although I wish it had better lighting and a better view)

Also, the rooftop bar has a great drinks and food and a view of the city that is beautiful at night

Christopher Drenth

Kimpton journeyman is a really cool hotel It is super dog-friendly They have fun events every day

They have clean facilities and they even have bikes that you can rent for freeTheir rooftop bar is fun, and their cafe is delicious although it’s hard to commit to their coffee when there are so many other good coffee shops aroundSome knocks against kimpton are- the price, it’s rather expensive for a fairly traditional hotel room- no pool to relax in- no complimentary breakfast (it’s an up charge on your bill)- valet parking is another $37 dollarsSome great things are:- the soaking tubs- location, location, location- staff are very friendly and inviting- dog-friendly

Our room was very clean It looked very nice, and was located very nicely The employees where quite personable and helpful

And they took care of our bags for free when we where at the farmers market in Milwaukee We needed help with the temperature in our room and they sent someone promptly This is a great place to stay when coming to Milwaukee especially for a bucks game, you can walk to the stadium from this hotel Overall this is a great place to stay

Kristin Temby

I had my wedding block here as well as a meet and greet the night before the wedding Colleen was easy to work with and helped me plan out appetizers and drinks for my guests She went above and beyond and even made personalized tickets for my guests as drink cards

She made sure to check in on me during the evening and make sure everything was running smoothlyWe were able to get a block of rooms, however they changed the block price earlier than agreed upon due to high demand for our weekendAt least two rooms (mine included) on the tenth floor were leaking rain from the ceiling The staff brought in towels but they stated they could not get a roofing company to fix it until this summer so they couldn’t do anything about it I believe something was done financially to make this rightOverall, good hotel for the price and I would recommend for events at the restaurant and bar

Jason Meddaugh

A great location in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, just a few blocks from Amtrak You’re paying for the location and service, it’s not the type of place where you would expect a low rate Restaurant had reasonable prices considering the location

A big thanks to Trent who helped solve an issue with dry cleaning and ensured I had my suit in time for a wedding The rooms are sufficient, though not huge, and the closet/bathroom layout was a bit cumbersome, but overall it was a great stay and location

Stayed here a few nights with my family Rooms were clean and large enough I loved having the curtain that could be pulled out to separate the bed from the sofa area

The staff was phenomenal The weekday breakfast lady (hope you don’t mind me making up a title for you!) Was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure there was plenty to eat The weekend breakfast lady was great also The driver of the airport shuttle was very professional and friendly The staff at the front desk were great I have not stayed in other Home 2 properties, but will definitely look for them next time we’re traveling I hope this is a corporate culture It was so refreshing

Mercedes Bradshaw

We loved our stay! The lobby area is very nice They had a hot chocolate bar, water with lemon, bananas and apples at no extra cost You don’t see that often

The woman at the front desk was so nice, I’m a little sad I didn’t get her name She was very friendly, welcoming, and even my girls talked about how nice she was Kindness really does go a long way Our room was nice and clean, we had everything we needed The pool was nice, not too cold, and clean The hot tub is closed We will definitely stay again

Shy Digging Eyeball

Nice big clean and updated room, convenient to airport, restaurants, grocery stores (many options!), highways and local attractions Staff were very nice especially the super-friendly breakfast lady, and the free hot breakfast is better than average Minus one star because the bed was made up with two cheap sheets and a decorative spread – no comforter or blanket at all

I got the extra blanket from the cupboard but it too was very thin It was in the high 30s at night outside so I would have appreciated an actual blanket or comforter and when you’re flying in you don’t have a handy blanket of your own in your car Also be aware that the advertised “kitchenette” only has a microwave, so don’t plan on cooking anything that requires a range/ oven Unfortunately I discovered this only after I had bought groceries that weren’t all microwave-friendly

Very pleased with our experience at the Pfizer The entire building had a vintage appeal with modern upgrades Dominic helped us at the front desk and was very kind

We even received a text from him later in the evening, asking if he could do anything to make our experience better He answered all of our questions regarding the pool and spa!We are at the Cafe in the morning and had the “Hungry Man” breakfast Delicious! The only thing I can think of that was slightly negative about our experience was that the bathtub wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, and when we ordered room service, the food was coldAlso (and not at any fault of the hotel), DON’T park in the parking lot across the street They’ll charge you a huge fee if you’re there over 24 hours You’re better off going with the hotel’s valet servicesDefinitely will be going again!

We just spent a short weekend away at the Pfister and could not have had a better time! It is a beautiful space, but what really took our experience over the top was the staffAlyson at the lobby bar was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met – kind, organized, outgoing, friendly, and so thoughtful She took the time to talk with us about the hotel’s history and amazing artist in residence program, and the drinks were all fantastic! Despite a very full bar and the fact that she was churning out drinks for everyone she still took the time to chat with us – impressive multitasking! The second night we were there she was serving and noticed that we hadn’t yet found a seat – she remembered what we had ordered the night before and brought us our drinks before we even ordered, which we appreciated so much

We felt like we were at our neighborhood bar at home!Marco at the concierge desk was so lovely – he took our photos and even helped us pose 🙂 It was a great addition to our stayAlexa at the bar at Mason Street Grill was absolutely fantastic – she had a full bar and was so on top of each guest’s needs Her attitude was so positive and friendly! The food there was also incredible – the salmon dish is to die for and the filet was perfectly cookedI would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone – the comfortable rooms and beautiful ambiance are fantastic, and make sure you have at least a drink or two and a meal inside the hotel – the staff will blow your mind!

Love! Love! Love! Do you want to feel like a Hollywood star, important individual or simple feel like when you walked in it matters that you chose to stay here Then, this hotel is a right place for you The atmosphere is friendly and kind as well as a little mysterious with all the decor and unique artwork

The front desk staff was beyond accommodating, professional and kind The bartender was super nice and even gave me a free soda since I wasn’t looking to get a drink i went up to front desk to exchange a $20 to tip him, and they did it without any problems I only wish I would take down their names The rooms are beautiful, place is gorgeous and wow wow wow their Christmas tree (I was there December 18-20) was spectacular Looking forward to staying here again soon! Thank you Pfister staff, you are one of a kind, amazing, caring and incredible people

We arrived on Sunday night , and were greeted by Ann Marie who could not of be nicer When we got to our lovely room there was a email our flight had been cancelled We cancelled our shuttle for the morning

We finally booked a new flight for 5 pm the next day Ann Marie to the rescue again saying don’t worry have a late check out , then you can use the business office and if you would like to go out to eat lunch we will take The next day Victoria was just as accommodating Great breakfast great Service thank you

Bill Johnson

I had a great experience Check in process was great and I was recognized as a Diamond member No mention of a room upgrade

Bottled water was givenRoom was nice and clean Very modern Plenty of plugs and USB ports Room had a regular coffee maker Bathroom had regular size bath towels Shower water pressure was fair No charge for parking Shuttle service to the airport was available Overall experience was excellent

John Cortese

I was not a fan of my time here The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly enough despite the waitress going missing for 15 minutes, leaving me waiting to close out the check The part I didn’t like was the breakfast was way overpriced, especially for the basic breakfast, which should be complimentary

Also, there was only coffee in the morning and no other water or coffee during the day I expected more out of a Hilton location as most have a fantastic complimentary hot breakfast and an evening social hour

I was there for a business trip for a week As far as style it’s a very trendy and contemporary place The location isn’t bad either

I have two major complaints First, I reserved a handicap room with a seat in the shower After my morning shower, the floor was flooded everyday Enough not to be able to mop up with a towel Occasionally it would seep under the bathroom wall and into the main room by the door I went down to the front desk and spoke to whom I presume to be the manager He told me that there isn’t adequate pitch so it won’t drain properly I’m not hard to please since none of my property got wet but it does mean there will be long-term damage to their property as it leaks into their walls and carpet, which it did This will inevitably lead to a nasty mold problem and water damage is really expensive Actually, by the time I left, I think it smelled bad since the carpet by the door was routinely wet Since they don’t seem intent on fixing it, I think the public has the right to know before they reserve a room Management was very polite about it and even bought me breakfast one morning but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s a structural problem they haven’t addressed Second, this is the first hotel I’ve ever been to where there wasn’t a restaurant or continental breakfast It’s designed like a Starbucks “Grab and Go” but it’s not my cup of tea Would I stay again? It wasn’t a nightmare but if I had a choice, absolutely not Next time I’m just going to tell my employer to pick some place else

Sidney Condos

Well I’m not even 4 hours into it and they failed to mention that they are valet only, which is an additional charge of $20 daily or $30 over night (gotta love hidden fees!) Also I came with a three year old and based my hotel choice off of the travel wisconsins website seeing as this was “top 6 family friendly hotels in Milwaukee” but doesn’t care to explain that you have to reserve time frames to actually use their pool which of course lead my 3 year old to threw a massive tantrum in the lobby because it took me going all the way downstairs about to go to the pool for them to tell me I’m just hoping she stays awake to make it to this pool time seeing as that’s the whole reason I picked this place for the night & will not have the time too during the rest of my time here

Welcome to Milwaukee I guess? Really really frustrated by the lack of communication Overall clean hotel, amazing super kind staff, great location, only downfall is the lack of communication when it came to their parking & pool policy Whiles the hour reserved pool time was really really nice, I’d want to know that you’d have to reserve a time ahead of time

Javier A. Fernández

I decided to take Memorial Day weekend for my family and me to explore Milwaukee While the arrival was very easy with digital check-in and the available staff, this was the easiest part of the tripDay 1 – we had no garbage can in the room

There was a dark red stain near the bed I assumed it was part of the design (it wasn’t) Later that evening as we pulled the sheets back, we realized that the red stain was seeping through from the mattress to the sheets and it looked like someone either spilled or ejected something onto the mattress and floor I mentioned it to the front desk and though they offered a different room if available-i decided to settle for the sheet change and clean up (I SHOULD HAVE MOVED)Day 2-After a great day exploring District 3 and the riverwalk-we settled in for the evening and ordered food from one of the nearby restaurants As we were in the room I noticed something n the sink basin ANTS There were several and as soon as I saw that I pulled our sheets back to discover a few on the mattress I called the front desk and was told that there was no one to address the situation but they would note it on the log????!!! Luckily I was able to dispose of the few visible ones but sleep was out of the questionCheckout-No note from the previous night When I informed the guest service person about the situation she stated “it makes sense, you are on a lower floor, so ants” WHAT??No manager contacted me There was no reaction The location is great My recommendationSTAY ELSEWHERE

We honestly love this hotel Always a great stay when we are in Milwaukee but last few times the cleanliness has been slipping This time found hair in the tub and did not have a pan in the kitchen to cook

wasn’t a huge deal but not what we are use to from this place Still has complimentary breakfast and “appetizers at dinner Food was decent clean tables and sanitizer for your hands great people great hotel check in at 3 checkout at noon which is nice definitely recommend Oh yeah and it’s also in a great location right around the corner from the highway, Grocery store and tons of restaurants

Kevin Russo

Finally! An IHG property that had a pool and hot tub that was working and even better from 9:00 to 11:00 it’s adults only in the pool area something that more hotels should adapt Staybridge Suites are one of my favorite extended stay hotels this one meets all the expectations I was impressed with the breakfast as well that was not just your basic scrambled eggs and toast

Working Summerfest this property was conveniently located as well and a property I would definitely return to

tony staffeld

Rooms are pretty big but not very well cleaned I was staying for work and over the course of a month and a half I had 4 different rooms (because of work not the hotel I would leave for weekends and come back) all my rooms were different degrees of dirty

Some had stuff like tooth paste on the wall or dirty dishes My last room was my worse A day or two into staying in the room it looked like there was hair in the bed and not my hair Another person I was there with had issues with their room too Looked under my bed for something I dropped and idk if it’s ever been cleaned beforeDirty rooms aside all the staff I interacted with were great Everyone is friendly and will help anyway they canThere is a large paper wasp nest on the backside of the building that should probably be removed

The amenities were good but I can’t recommend anyone stay here especially if you’re going to park on premises Multiple cars were broken into, eventually including our own, night after night during my stay Looks like this has been happening for months if not longer, and yet there are still not enough security measures being taken to deter whoever keeps doing this

Zero cameras in the north lot, which is full of broken glass Also, even though the staff were aware that multiple car windows were smashed and a thunderstorm was expected, no one thought to contact us or to put anything over our window, so we found it in the morning and now we’ve got water damage too The waffles at breakfast were pretty good though

We agree, stay AWAY! We went to the Brewers game& came back to a parking lot of full of vehicles with their windows broken out (at least 5) that we saw driving through to turn around & park somewhere else I’m pregnant & was a bit worried about what was going on We went to the front desk to report it & the front desk said they were aware

We went up to our floor & found rooms of people that were packing up & leaving They were there since Thursday & this was the second time they experienced the break ins They also told us that some of their vehicles were stolen earlier too! Nope, all of our group (8 people) packed up & checked out Being in my 3rd trimester we were not going to risk having our brand new truck stolen or broken into!!! The front desk was unhelpful & cold when we asked about a refund for rooms we never even got to use We simply got a business card for the manager maybe with all this going on the manager should be there at night to help the staff very disappointed on how the situations were treated Especially for those that experienced it more than once! I didn’t even hear a simple “sorry” to anyone involved

I have been staying here on a regular basis for over a year, and while the hotel is nice, the neighborhood is not I have had not one, but two vehicles broken into and windows shattered this week, and this morning there was about 15 trucks broken into And despite being told by Milwaukee police they need to address their lack of security cameras in their parking lot, they refuse to do anything about it

Nice hotel, but I wouldn’t trust leaving your car here This apparently happens all the time

The staff was WONDERFUL – everyone with whom we came in contact I’ve never experienced such a wonderful staff in a hotel before The breakfasts were super good and there was coffee available all day

I was disappointed in my room The floor had numerous stains and the carpet was coming up The room was humid the entire time no matter what I did with the thermostatI was disappointed there was no cleaning of the rooms in the 4 nights I stayed, 5 nights for my parents I’ve never been I a hotel where this happens (except Africa)Our toilet had an issue one night, but there was no one on staff except the lady at the front desk, so I had to fix it or we had no toilet Fortunately it was an easy fix A 3-star hotel needs to have a remedy other than the customer! Again, we weren’t in Africa! Finally, our family was there on bereavement and booked 4 rooms We ended up with 3 different rates for bereavement rate I’m still trying to figure that one outI would probably go back if I needed to stay in the area, but there are these couple things that need help

First the good stuff: the staff here were great, so helpful and attentive When we got to our room the TV remote batteries were dead, we called and they brought us a new one right up While the worker was there I asked her where we could find some plastic forks and she said they were at the front desk

Minutes later she was knocking at the door with a few sets of plastic ware for us which was really nice and not expected The room was very clean, the breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub are a pretty decent sizeNow the not so great stuff: the bed was not very comfortable, it was like sleeping on a really old mattress that has lost its squish and is all springs Like other reviews have said the chlorine in the pool area was so strong my eyes were burning even the next morning Also the pool was freezing cold, we entered the pool first and planned to finish up in the hot tub but after shrieking in the cold pool for a minute we decided to just go straight to the hot tub And finally, the elevator ride from hell I ride elevators a lot (I work in a hospital) so I’m not afraid of elevators I can tell you this elevator was the most terrifying one I’ve ever been on As the car passes each floor it shakes from side to side and jostles you around, and when we reached our floor before the doors opened it dropped a couple inches It’s also a very small elevator so the thought of getting stuck in that thing is terrifying We took the stairs the rest of our stay which was certainly better for our health but not what you’re looking for when you’re paying to stay at a hotel If you’re afraid of elevators plan to stay on the first floor or take the stairs Overall it was a fine stay but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Stayed here for a night for a wedding Enjoyed the room, coffee and breakfast, and the pool and hot tub area We were here on a Saturday and there was a fire and get together in the courtyard, pretty chill vibe

There is a fitness area with treadmills and stationary bikes but didn’t get to try it out Overall a fun stay for a single night

Clean hotel with modern decor The ladies at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful The lobby was full of activity at times with lots of people checking in but my room was very quiet and I was not disturbed by any surrounding guests through my two day stay

My room was also comfortable with nice amenities The shower is always the most important item to me and this one was very nice with a clean and updated shower head If I ever fly back to Milwaukee, I will stay here again

Jeremy Cucco

I’m torn on this I’m only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons First, I think a hotel that gets 5 stars needs to be absolutely perfect

This one is good, far better than expected, but not quite up to 5 star That’s not meant to be insulting at allThe staff were fantastic (except one person who I encountered that seemed like I was bothering her) Otherwise, the rest of the staff made up for it and we’re excellent The room was comfortable and clean The ac was a touch loud but what hotel ac isn’t loud? At least it worked since it was over 100 degrees while we were thereGetting into and out of the hotel was a challenge due to construction but that’s not their fault And once you figure it out, it’s easy enough Location was okay – plenty of mall food around if that’s your thing but easily drivable to other locations for good and groceries as neededThe highlight of this location was truly its staff They were very kind and helpful Add points for the clean and comfortable rooms and responsive housekeeping and it’s a place I’ll definitely return to if I need a stay in the area again

Excellent service! From check-in to Check-out We had 14 people in our party 8 kids and 6 adults

They took the time to make sure we were all on the same floor during check-in When it took longer than anticipated they brought out drinks for us and everyone waitingWe ate at their restaurant Again superb hospitality Got our food 10 mins after ordering 14 people? It was awesome And the food was delicious I recommend the butter burgerAll in all, our stay was a perfect end to a delightful visit to the ZooThank you very much!

This was my first trip to Milwaukee and I am grateful this is where I stayedThe Hotel Staff were amazing and kind Shout out to Noah and the other Front Desk Team

As well as the Vallet StaffThe room was spacious, clean, and well equipped The best part of my stay was the bed Westin hotels always have nice beds but this was the best one yet

Maya Jerdy

Stayed at many hotels and this is easily among my favourites The staff is impeccable The restaurant is delicious

The amenities are great The gym has two pelotons and full equipment spread + weight sets The rooms are clean and well-taken care of The area easily supports walking anywhere worthwhile in-townI couldn’t recommend more!Shout out to Julia from reception who brought me ice, water, and some goodies when I hurt myself and was noticeably struggling That was beyond kind but nothing unexpected for this fabulous hotel

Jessica Allen

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good However housekeeping was not friendly if you ask for something wouldn’t even acknowledge you at the door The most damaging which overall resulted in this low rating was the fact that we had no sheets, pillows, or anything of the sort for the pull out couch and when I did pull the couch out to make it we found packs of cigarettes and joints

Comfortable, clean, convenient airport hotel My colleagues and I spent a short time at this location Our business and flight schedule requiring accommodations near the airport

Due to our brief visit, my observation and experience with the hotel’s amenities is limited This is not a new property The hotel has been remodeled, rehabbed and rebranded to a Crown Plaza The hotel facilities appeared to be from several decades ago and most likely was built under a different brand ( my guess would be a Holiday Inn??) However, the hotel is clean and well maintained The lobby and common guest areas have been remodeled and refurbished, giving a very pleasant welcoming experience My guestroom was average size hotel room It was clean, comfortable and quiet My room included two double beds, large flat screen TV and mini-fridge In my opinion, the bathroom needs attention and serious upgrades Although I believe it was completely clean, the age of the bathroom fixtures and features gave me not the most pleasant experience In addition, I would have appreciated much hotter water for my shower and shave The hotel has a restaurant, but I didn’t have a chance to dine The hotel has a very nice gift shop adjacent the lobby and front desk I didn’t make a purchase, but I did visit and look around It was well stocked and had a nice selection of food, beverage and toiletries The check in and departure process was very pleasant and efficient Both the evening and morning front desk staff was wonderful Very friendly, polite and professional The hotel provides a complimentary airport service Departing the hotel early morning went perfect; shuttle on-time and very pleasant, safe ride with an excellent driver The only issue my colleagues and I experienced with the shuttle was on arrival at Milwaukee Upon our flight arrival we called the hotel for pickup Unfortunately, it took approximately 35 – 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive Ordinarily, this is just a small inconvenience issue However, waiting outside in winter temperatures hovering around 10 degrees and ice/snow on the ground, it was quite uncomfortable (especially for me, being a Florida resident!) Once the shuttle arrived the driver never offered any explanation for the delay The drive is only about 10 minutes, but seemed an eternity as the evening driver was driving very fast in winter conditions and playing very loud music In conclusion, this hotel is perfect for short-term stays, especially if you need accommodations near General Mitchell International Airport

Jim McIlvaine

Traveling in a post-pandemic era, my expectations for this property were low American “delayed” my flight until the next day and provided a complimentary room The shuttle bus driver was professional, friendly & prompt

The room was clean, spacious & well-equipped with decent wifiWhen you have an airport-centric property, the operation of the shuttle bus to the airport is an integral part of the stay and I’ve had some bad experiences elsewhere The morning shuttle driver was just as professional, friendly & prompt I would stay here again without hesitation

Sheri Barnes

The front desk was nice, and beds were comfortable but housekeeping need to be trained better They came in our room 3 times, unannounced! I have not clue what they were doing My husband had to call the front desk to tell them to make sure it didn’t happen again

The rooms were outdated and we had to switch rooms because the TV in the living area kept going in an out The TV was definitely outdated The ice machine and elevator was out for almost 2 days, and we had to have housekeeping vaccum our room because there were particles on the floor The floors need shampooing My family and I stayed for 4days, and would most likely not stay again
