Lynn Jurgensen

We had a great experience during our recent stay The room was clean, comfortable, and good size The shower was terrific, with excellent water pressure! Each member of the staff was amicable and helpful

The location was great, being close to Times Square We were expecting it to be loud late at night, but it wasn’t Although we just passed through the lounge area in the main lobby, it did look very inviting The outdoor rooftop bar was a surprise We will stay here again

Hanan M’barki

So far, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at The service was great from all the staff Alvin, the front desk agent was very kind and hospitable, he went an extra mile to make my dad and I feel comfortable, especially after he found out that i have lost my luggage during my flight

The hotel was clean and neat, very nice design and architecture, plus the location was on point, close to all attractions especially times Square The housekeeper lady was very welcoming as well and she asked me if I needed anything and that was kind of her I really loved this hotel and definitely will be my first choice to stay once I get back to New york

S Singh

Stopped here in June with my wifePros – Location is great if you want to be close to Times Square, the lobby area and outdoor terrace is lovely with a great viewRooms are well furnished and clean, come with safe, fridge, hair dryer, iron

Staff were helpful and welcomingNegatives – Whilst we stopped at the hotel only 1 lift was working This caused queues to just get into the hotel and the lift was always over crowded when covid rates were on the riseAlso the list from the lobby to the rooms, all working but you could be waiting 10 minutes to get out the hotel as the lifts are full constantlyOver all it was a good hotel for couples and children from ages 10+ I would not recommend this to families with younger children

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay while in NJ with a remarkable view that’s quite unique!Front desk staff is very nice and helpful During check in I received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe skyline view! The hotel’s got all the amenities you’d want or need if here for business or personal travel View, lively bar scene, modern decors, fitness center, business center and very helpful staff

The bar had some popping music on Friday which was very cool! In fact this place reminds me of a W hotel except even more hip! Thanks guys for a wonderful stay so far!

Toni-Ann Mason

This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in NYC The staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly I stayed here for my anniversary and we enjoyed our stay that we didn’t want to go back to real life

The location was perfect the ferry is right outside There was absolutely nothing to complain about it was perfect and pet friendly The views were breathtaking

Melinda Rojas

I wouldn’t bother with this hotel Front desk needs better hospitality skills, the front desk drank on the job while checking us in! We could not get a good night sleep because of how loud the music was, room was okay, pretty clean There is no snacks or drinks in the fridge just coffee

It is very hard to get in touch with reception, due to the fact they walk away from the desk and do who knows what, but when we first arrived we saw him at the bar rushing over to the desk to check us In All in all not worth it, I would go somewhere that you can get better service for your money

Kamilla Chanysheva

That was my first trip to NY and my first stay at this hotel What can I say – I’m in love with NY and I think mostly because of the hotel staff and the service Each and everyone who works there is incredibly amazing

It was such a pleasure to stay there The hospitality of the personnel is outstanding From the managers and chefs to servers and housekeeping staff I felt like I was back to Europe again but so much better (west coast is sooo different ☹️) The hotel building is beautiful, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean and the service is just perfect I could’ve literally spend the whole day describing every minute of my amazing experience at Pierre hotel I definitely would love to comeback soon Thank you guys!

Arianna Martignetti

Please note that I am writing this review solely in reference to the restaurant/bar – my friends had never been to NY before (they are from the west coast) and prior to walking around Central Park, we decided to grab a drink nearby We walked into The Pierre and immediately realized that we were out of place, definitely not dressed for the occasion, but the restaurant staff welcomed us with open arms as we asked to grab a drink at the bar We ended up staying for a few drinks because the bartender, Sergio, was so unbelievably pleasant

He was personable and humorous, and respectful of our space yet willing to engage in conversation whenever we wanted to chat with him Sergio and his drinks were a highlight of their trip! My partner and I live in Westchester and cannot wait to go visit with him again

Antonio Lopez

I want to say thank you to all of you at the restaurantMatthew, Sergio, Kenny and everyone on the team, excelent cousin and perfect care of the costumer’sI will be back for sure

And thank you so much for not to wear mask is so beautiful to see the smile and to be humans again God bless all youAntonio L

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t be disappointedAfter reading the reviews on here I didn’t really know what to expect, all I can say is that some people really pick on the smallest thingsI thought this hotel was perfect value for money After staying in the city 8/9 years ago I was very surprised with how this compared The hotel itself was modern and clean the room more better than expected Big compared to what I had before, the bed was so comfy! The bathroom was clean and updated so issue with water pressure or temperatureI would highly recommend and I will be staying here again when I go back!

Crystal Frazier

I booked Park Central for an overnight stay in NYC with a friend Our experience was sub-par and did not match the hotel pricing We paid way too much for what we got as an experience

There was a long wait to check in I tried to use the hotels app for remote check in, which did not work Once we got to the counter the staff was friendly and apologized or the waitWhen we got to our room, it was not as clean as it should have been There was hair in the bathroom sink and tub which made me wonder how well everything else had been cleaned The iron in our room did not work I called the front desk for a replacement and they were very professional We had a replacement iron in about half an hourThere was a long wait for check out It was Sunday morning and there was only 1 agent at the front desk trying to service a line full of people Overall, I think the staff was doing the best they could but it’s clear that they need more support to keep things running smoothly

Kelly Buchanan (kelleehasclass)

First time in NYC and really enjoyed our stay here in February The lounge and bar areas in the lobby are very cozy and have a great atmosphere, and are decorated extremely well Outlets and computers are also available for use

Check in and out were quick and easy I would receive texts daily checking on our stay and asking if there was anything we needed We had fresh water and a blanket delivered to our room fairly quickly All appliances in the room worked fine Our room was a little chilly no matter what setting we had on, but the staff provided us with an extra blanket so it was fine If you play PokémonGO, we could reach 4 stops from our room and lots of great spawns, and many gyms around to remote into raids Great stay and would love to stay again! Only complaint is the added in resort fees when booking, I really don’t understand why they don’t just include it in their daily rates so it doesn’t feel like a cheap scam

J S

This is the greatest hotel I’ve stayed at in New York From arrival, Esther made sure all of our needs were met The tables outside the hotel were magical for coffee in the morning I sure do miss those tables

Very quiet very clean very nice hotel My wife and I were very inquisitive about areas and food in the neighborhood and the doorman Orlando was very professional and kind We will see you next year for sure Miss you guys already

Josh Boney

The stay was fantastic! Great location in Manhattan for quiet, safety, and access to NYC Older classic building with modern classy upgrades for a professional stay Bedroom w/bathroom was top notch

My favorite aspect of the room was the bed I slept like a baby compared to other nice hotels The bathroom also had high-quality upgraded features that I appreciated It may just be me, but my check-in process could have been better They have the 4-star communication down, but the process did not seem as smooth I would definitely stay here again, so overall 5-star review for me!

Friendly staff and good location if you don’t mind the busy Broadway scene The shower in my room (16th floor) had low water pressure, and the “Continental Breakfast” was basically a plain bagel, Coffee and Bananas No gluten-free options, so definitely room for improvement there

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the room and Google won’t allow uploading videos on Google maps, but the room was decent and they didn’t charge me for receiving packages to the hotel — so I definitely appreciate that Overall 4/5 stars with some room for improvement

Wendy G

It’s okay I had a super tiny roomFor my money I prefer Marriott or Smarties Hotel Chain (TM)

Those chains don’t know what a small room is This place is tiny and they ask for your Vaccine card for everything ( so be prepared !! ) Gym is the BEST thing of this whole place Breakfast was toast and bananas Have fun !

Morgan Hill

The staff really make the experience So accommodating Shout out to Josh (go team pineapple on pizza) – started at check in with exceptional service at the front desk as we had a checked bag not make it to New York after airport trouble

They went above and beyond in understanding regarding that After recommending thoughtful venues and nearby facilities we were required to stop at we were directed to the lounge to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese hour where Valentino took great care of my girlfriend and I on her birthday after a previous stressful commute to New York we were put at ease and forgot the troubles in his attentive care Thank you for making our experience special and memorable

We’ve stayed here quite a few times, the last time before our recent stay being pre-pandemic The location is convenient to the city, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is decent enough, parking is free My daughter and I stayed in room 804 and our experience was the room is really in need of some TLC

1 Temp control was hit-or-miss, the thermostat being well-handled and old2 Furniture in the living room is Salvation Army-grade and there’s way too much of it for the small space3 Remote control did not work4 Kitchen faucet leaked5 The toilet seat was loose and moved side-to-side and I was not about to reach under there to tighten it6 The coffee maker was fun; the little spring-loaded button in the bottom of the filter basket did not hit the carafe lid, so the coffee stayed in the basket rather than draining into the potThis used to be a nice hotel but it’s becoming run-down It’s clean for the most part and convenient to the ferry terminal, the parking is free, the access to the promenade restaurants and to Pier 115 is a plus, but it’s just starting to feel old and neglected We’ll probably stay here again but we might just try somewhere else

Aiden R

I stayed here for two nights and three days I felt good when I checked in The lady at the counter was very kind

I liked the room, too A room with two queen beds and a living room with a sofa were separated It is free breakfast time from 6 AM to 10 AM I was also satisfied with the quality of their food I will stay at here again when I come back to NYC next time

ortalama vatandas

Great location, great size of the room, very decent food for breakfast, free parking Only thing to improve would have been the furniture in the room was very dirty and old I used cleaning wipes for the chairs and I covered the sofa with my blanket that I carry in the car to make sure my clothing does not get any stains from the furniture

One of the chairs had literally some black stuff like machine oil or something Since the linens, tile surfaces and bedding were clean I did not complain Room had water front view so overall great value for the price I wish they had let us do late check out and did not barge in the room before we were even dressed yet to rush us out before the check out time The asian lady at the front desk was rather mean towards us but rest of the staff was very cordial

We booked a stay for June 7 2020 and had to cancel due to COVID We were promised our refund within 6 to 8 weeks Despite many e-mails and phone calls we have never received a refund

And now we can’t get hold of the hotel to speak to anyone All e-mail contacts we had are no longer accessible and when we try to call the hotel we are automatically forwarded to the head reservation centre in the Phillipines Needless to say we are frustrated that the hotel is not honouring their commitment The hotel is part of an international hotel chain and the lack of providing our refund is inexcusable and borders on criminal This experience has been so distasteful we don’t feel New York is a destination to be recommended to anybody

Charlene Hall

My family and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for March 2020 Due to COVID New York City shut down and our trip was cancelled Every other vendor immediately returned our money now questions asked

It is now almost 2 years later, and we still haven’t gotten a dime back from this hotel after being promise multiple time we would receive a full refund To make matters worse I can’t even get a live person to talk to I have emailed and called This is theft and anyone thinking of staying at any of these properties BEWARE!!!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any resort They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure! After reading the reviews I must admit I was skeptical, 1) not which familiar with the area 2) would the images live to expectation I’m happy and very pleased to inform they did, what I saw is what I got, we booked a queen bed room, which was the perfect size, everything was clean and house keeping was fine I found a great deal booking directly with them instead of a 3rd party so check your options We didn’t need much interaction with staff, we were in and out as pleased, this location is a few blocks from great bars, restaurants and Times Square! Please keep in mind, we booked for 2, any more you’ll be crowded in that room Also, please read fine print for the additional fees, so your not surprised later If you’re looking for a sign to book this hotel, this is it

Patricia Ream

Location is what makes this hotel even remotely recommendable at beat Julie at front desk was very nice which is the best I can say This is a motel, not a hotel

Elevator from parking garage didn’t work, not even one luggage cart , no one to help with the luggage, no refrigerator in room which was shocking, and if you are concerned with security then this is not the place for you This is not a 4 star hotel, 2 at best and worth nothing more Room was fine since we weren’t in it long but having not refrigerator was not great and no ice machine

Isaiah Stebbins

You get what you pay for Considering location in Manhattan, room size, and nightly rate (even with lose lovely fees), you’re still getting a comparatively good deal This means that you’re staying in one of the cheaper hotels in NYC – so you deal with what comes along with staying int he cheaper hotel of any city and the undesirables that come along with it

That being said, the value of this spot is solid, and they really do make it feel more worth it than other mini-hotel deals Most of the people staying here, saw other cheaper hotels and simply went with this without being sure of what they were getting in onStaff are good at what they do, for the few times you’ll interact with them (the check-in process is done via tablet kiosk) The terrace and restaurants are a nice touch if you’re not feeling like going out but don’t wanna stay in your room all cooped up And on that note, the rooms, they are definitely smaller than what you’re used to, but that goes for about every hotel room in NYC – they’re all space efficient Also, being such – no fridge or microwave For me that’s no big deal, but for some that could be a deal-breaker Choose for yourselfKnow your location Research it up without other people’s attached feelings and make the choice for yourself I consider myself a pretty budget-minded traveler, and pretty much always find myself here as a go-to spot for shorter and longer stays

Excellent central location Rooms were clean The temperature in the rooms were too warm for us and unfortunately we could not turn it down

The beds were very comfortable The view was fantastic The lounge was comfortable, but needs more staff at breakfast I had to eat at an uncleared table The coffee machine did not work on one day also

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel while I stayed in Manhattan The staff was very friendly and helpful The rooms were very modern and immaculate

I had a view from my bedroom of Times Square, which was the best part! I felt very safe because after-hours, you need your room key to enter the building and use the elevators There is a bar that serves food and drinks in the evening, and a fitness center Each morning the hotel offers complimentary water bottles and breakfast on the terrace Visitors can also sit and eat on the balcony overlooking the cityso lovely! They offered a variety of choices for breakfast and it was a great way to start off my morning I couldn’t have asked for a better experience I will definitely be returning to the West house hotel in the future

Michael Jones

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for 4 nights I’m not sure it’s a 5-star hotel It’s a boutique hotel, so generally more compact size in the lobby and dining area compared to a big true 5/star hotel

Staff was pretty friendly and helpful Room was semi-clean with general cleanliness, but furniture is old and could see crumbs in cracks of tables I believe the resident fee recently went from $30 to $50 We lucked out with booking still being $30 Not a bad deal if you use it for breakfast and light evening meal Plus all you can drink beer and wine Very convenient location with subway entrance almost at front door and Times Square 10 minute walk and Central Park a few blocks north We enjoyed our stay

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you choose this place you won’t be let downThe staff here is fantastic! Everyone is very nice and welcoming The rooms are also very clean and comfortable Bathrooms are on the older side but very clean and very well maintained! We will be back!We would’ve given it 4 stars because we paid extra for a specific room and it wasn’t exactly as described We will sort this out at a later time but a place where we’d definitely stay again 5 stars as Lenny (doorman) is always smiling and welcoming folks!

Spent the Valentine weekend here and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating I cannot say enough about Lenny the doorman He was amazing and gets 5 stars!! Mary the concierge also stood out as a rock star

Friendly and sweetMy only constructive comment is the toilet water pressure isn’t great but typical of stately old NYC hotels Bravo Berkshire!!

So many things I enjoyed about this hotel Cost and worth matched up The location is perfect

Close enough to walk to most tourist spots, but far away enough to be out of the traffic and chaos Close to subway for the 6 line Down the block is a whole foods And jumbo bagels is only three blocks away! Also a Starbucks less than a blockThe hotel staff is very friendly and eager to help The hotel is decorated as modern and rooms are clean The water pressure was lovely and other small features such a reading light from the bed frame made the stay just a little more pleasant We had king suite Plenty of room for a NY hotel Many cabinets to store itemsThere is a nice area to eat breakfast with complimentary espresso machine! This is my new spot for when I visit NYC I hesitate to leave a good review because I don’t want to make it too popular!

My partner and I made a trip to NYC from Maine for our anniversary I couldn’t have picked a better hotel than this one The prices are super affordable for the quality

Everything is squeaky clean and quiet The rooftop space has beautiful views of the city especially at nighttime We were even encouraged to bring our own beverages up to the roof to enjoy them The only thing I would recommend the hotel does with the rooftop is add a couple of comfy chairs and maybe a tableThe environment is also amazing The staff are super attentive, helpful, and extremely kind The staff went out of their way to help us quickly unload our belongings in the middle of the parking and traffic chaos They also provided us with amazing suggestions on local attractions, food, and directions The staff definitely made us feel welcome and at home They genuinely care about their hotel guests I can’t say enough about themHuge thank you to Hotel 57 for the amazing work and effort You made our trip the most memorable experience We will be back to visit on our next trip to NYC!

Great location View depends on your room location The room was the min one should expect for a 4 star hotel

Nice bed and comfortable pillows Weird layout TV in sitting area would not turn off A/c in room kept slamming on and off and was a poor quality window rattler The front desk staff appeared to be burden by guests Security was lacking Although you’ll need a room key to access floors, this is by passed by guests allowing delivery people to tailgate No cameras on the floors Parking is $35 per night but no security patrolling the lotConvenient to NYC Make sure to get out and take a stroll on the boardwalk

Stayed here one night for Valentines Day in 2022The place feels slightly poorly maintained Lots of scratches in the woodwork, stains and marks

More than you’d expect to see in a hotel of this caliberHowever, I’m still giving it 5 stars because all my experiences with the staff were perfection from the moment I walked in the door Room service breakfast was wonderful and immaculately prepared and presented Loved our view of Central Park I wish to god I didn’t have to also see Trump tower, but I got over it The sun rose right in front of us over Central Park LovelyThe gym and pool areas are very well maintained The pool was divine and once again the staff at the gym area were top notch

Generally good experience overall The rooms and ambiance speak for themselves so I’ll focus more on a few problem I encountered Note the 4 star rating, obviously none of these were deal breakers

1 A group of wedding guests who I can only guess has lost their most basic social awareness to an abundance of drinks decided to make a town hall out of our quiet floor around 1:30AM Not a wonderful experience, especially for people whose sleep are not easily returned to once disrupted A call to the front desk returned the assurance that further disturbances will be addressed by a staff member At this point the damage was done and it was no use to pursue it much further2 The room service staff knocked on and tried to open my door on the first two days of our stay, despite our “Privacy” light being on the whole time I was only talking business meetings so it was no great offense, but imagine people enjoying a time of intimacy being so abruptly disturbed HOWEVER, I need to heavily emphasize that the room service staff, all staff in fact, were extortionately polite and helpful They work hard enough trying to keep us pesky guests happy so I understand if a little mistake is made on occasion
